Chaser News, check outchaser.com.com.com for the latest updates. Now it's time for Craig, Charles and Dom. Thanks, Beck. And now it's time for... Welcome to the future. Now, guys, I've got a very, uh, sort of profound question to ask you.
Starting point is 00:01:25 Which is... At the first for this segment. Why do we use a... a phone cover. Why do we use a phone cover? To not break our phone? No. Craig, you're so 2004. It's such a 2004 answer. Tom, do you want to, do you want to sort of, this is the future we're doing about it. Why in the 2020s do we use a phone cover?
Starting point is 00:01:51 Because I want to ornament my beautiful glass and stainless steel phone with shitty rubber. Yeah, yeah, you want to make your phone look cheaper than it is. Yeah, that's right with a kind of condom type arrangement that's a 2019-2020 sort of thing. No, no. The reason, well, let's actually go to the salesperson to actually answer that question.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Introducing the moccase. It is a combination of a smartphone case and an espresso machine. What? So hang on, it's a smartphone cover that's also an espresso machine. This literally would get me through. in most of my life. Like, that will cover all of my requirements.
Starting point is 00:02:33 How large are we talking here? I feel like this is not going to be your usual sveled phone cover. Yeah, does it fit in the pocket of anything? No, it's a big size. It's a richard machine. The small ones don't pour very good coffee. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:02:52 No, no, it's, it's, no, it is, it fits on the back. It's very, it is very slim. It adds probably like, a quarter of an inch, like maybe one centimeter to the thickness of the bag. Oh, so what you're saying is it doesn't work as a coffee machine. Craig, I would have thought you'd be on board with this. Is someone who spent years just going on about reusable coffee cups, surely the most efficient thing to do is to carry your own espresso machine everywhere
Starting point is 00:03:20 and brew it directly into your mouth. No cups at all. It's true. It's strange to your face. And this is good, yes. No, that's true, don't. Now, do you want to find out how it works? I'm extremely baffled
Starting point is 00:03:32 about how it could possibly given that espresso requires boiling water and phones generally don't go well with boiling things do they use the radiation in your phone to boil the water? Is it 5G? Is that how it cooks the coffee?
Starting point is 00:03:49 What's 5G? Can we just listen? We just need to open the Mokase app and click the brewing button all it takes is five to eight seconds to get a worm serving of your favorite coffee. Yeah, so what it does is it sort of drains your battery and this sort of device on the back is activated by the app and sort of quickly warms up the little pouch of caffeinated delight. How is this possible?
Starting point is 00:04:22 Ringing around, you've been switching around in your pocket. What is this called? It's called Mokays. Mokays, the, you know, espresso machine. Look, you don't have one. God, you're so untrendy. It's true. Anyway, okay.
Starting point is 00:04:43 So now, have you thought of the floor with this product? Because this product does work. Like, there's a whole video of, you know, pouring out of coffee. Oh, there's a video that says it's work. Well, then I'm convinced. I've already ordered one for everyone in the family for Christmas, so better bloody work. I mean, Charles, I guess I have one to two cups of coffee a day.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Yeah. So for that, approximately, what, five minutes of my day, that would be very handy. The rest of the time I'm carrying around an incredibly heavy and annoying extra attachment that makes it too wide to fit in my pants. That is correct. But there's something even more annoying that you've got to carry around. Have you thought about that? What else do you need?
Starting point is 00:05:23 Do you have to carry around? around like the water, obviously? Yeah, you've got to carry around the water. And the coffee? Yes, and the coffee. Yeah, yeah. And a cup. And a cup.
Starting point is 00:05:34 And a cup. Aha. Aha. It's your, I already carry a cup around anyway. Oh, yes. You've got to keep cup. Oh, okay. You've got a keep cup, but it'll be fine.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Oh, okay. Yeah, sure you do, Craig. Sure you do. Yeah. Or do you have to because it's embarrassing. You probably now are not allowed to go into cafes and just. at a disposable cup. It'd ruin your whole personal brand,
Starting point is 00:06:00 wouldn't it, Craig? Well, I try not to. I still, I'm looking at the Mokase online right now. And the interesting thing about that video that convinced you, Chels, is that doesn't at any point show it making coffee? Yes, it does. You obviously, MRM, cyberspace, YouTube channel?
Starting point is 00:06:19 I have no idea we are. I have no idea. Look at it. Okay. But the point is, what they've also done is not just the case. They've also made a portable coffee cup for you to carry around.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Wow. The company especially designed a foldable cup which can double as a key ring and fits easily in the pocket. It's a foldable cup that doubles as a key ring. I mean, Charles, Craig, you're out of business. This company has just surpassed your entire eco-career. This is a very bizarre.
Starting point is 00:06:52 I've never been in this situation before. but during Charles's segment, I actually want one of the products. Yes, yes. And I'm particularly, just to see how it's possible to have a phone that brews coffee and a foldable cup that's also a key ring. Like, these are things which should not normally go together. It's like saying, oh, I have an attachment for my washing machine that's an elephant. Like, this is very strange.
Starting point is 00:07:17 The only problem with this, Charles, for me, is that I've already bought that coffee machine that makes phone calls.
