The Channel 9 network has announced they will no longer be inviting One Nation Senator Pauline Hanson to regularly broadcast her opinions to millions after learning that the nation's most famous white supremacist is a bit racist. Yes, now, normally we'd do a world round-up of all the news that's happening around the world. But instead today, I just wanted to hijack this to tell Andrew and Dom about this, the most frustrating experience that I've had in the last couple of weeks. So, hello, Andrew.

Hello, Dom. Hello. Hi, I can't wait to hear about your frustrating experience. I'm so glad someone frustrated you. Yes, I need to tell someone this story. So a couple of weeks ago, right, I booked a same day courier, right, to take a couple of parcels across the city. You know, I could have paid $13 for a next day service, but instead I, you know, went, oh, a bit fancy to the $17 option to get the same day service. Still pretty cheap, right?

No, it's not bad, actually. Right. So, end of the day arrives, the guy still hasn't picked. up the parcels. They're just sitting there on my porch waiting for him to pick them up, right? And I look at the website and he goes, oh, due to COVID-19, sometimes the career doesn't arrive. So I went, okay, well, that's fair enough. I'll just re-book it for tomorrow and I assume it will be picked up tomorrow, right? But re-book it again, the career doesn't arrive, right? So, okay, well, it's a bit frustrating, but, you know, it is COVID, you know, blah, blah,

re-book it again. Third day, career still doesn't arrive. It's not picked up at the end of the third day of the same day delivery service, right? Can I just clarify, Charles, when it says same day delivery, does it mean the same day as you book it, or when they pick it up, when they finally pick it up, they deliver it that same day, even if it's in a month? Yeah, or next year. Well, yes, I think that might be their understanding of what the word same day means. To me, the word same day means you book it, because on the label it said, you know, it has been

booked for this day. It didn't say, oh, it's been booked for three weeks time. But if it's called a same-day courier, see, it also depends which day of the week you're talking about. See, maybe you were you were trying to do this on a Monday and a Tuesday and a Wednesday, whereas maybe the courier is called same-day courier because he only works on a Friday and works the same day every week. That could be true. But anyway, so what I do is I, because I need to get the passes across town ride, I get in the car and I just take them myself. It's a very old-fashioned sort of thing. It was a really nice drive, actually. I noticed that the roads were remarkably free of delivery vehicles. Didn't see any same-day couriers out? Thank you. Company, yeah. So anyway, so then,

okay, so then fast forward a whole week after I've first booked the courier service, they email me and say, oh look, our courier's just come to your house. And there's nothing. Yeah, the parcels aren't there. Where are they? They wrote it at it. And they rebooked. Thank you for rebuking your collection. You've been advised there is no access and no parcel left outside for pickup, right?

Please note, rebooking charges will now apply. All right? So you going, fuck you. Fuck you. Hang on a sec. Hang on a sec. I just wonder if you've read the information correctly. Are you sure it didn't say someday Koreans?

Someday. Well, they do understand the concept of same day, Dom, because when I originally booked, they took my $17 on the same day, right? So they know maybe that's what they're referring to. Maybe they take your money on the same day. Anyway, so I email them and say, look, you know, you took my money on the same day, you know,

maybe you can give it back to me. And actually she was, she explained that it was all because of of COVID and everything like that. But she did actually say, yes, we will refund your money. Sorry about that. But because of COVID, same day can mean up to a week, just so you know. That's what she said, right? Okay.

Anyway, so Isaac, are you going to refund me? Are you going to refund me right now? And she said, yes, yes. You'll be refunded on the same day, right? Oh, but that means up to a week. That means up to a week. Yes. And yes, so yes, guess what happened?

Yesterday, the money. came through, which was exactly a week after I asked for the refund. They think that same day means in a week. That's what they think. I must say, I've got a wonderful idea for a career business. It sounds very easy. Sounds quite relaxed. The Chaser Report, news you can't trust.
