Starting point is 00:00:00 Have something you wanna say, have a question that you wanna ask. This is your chance, my brothers and sisters, let's get after it. I'm Chris Cuomo, welcome to the Chris Cuomo Project. Thank you for subscribing and following. I am joined by the OAO, the one and only, Greg Ott, not real name, producer, father, comedian.
Starting point is 00:00:21 You know, he said OAO, I was thinking of the OAO, the original angel, did you ever watch the original angel? Never. It was a Netflix show where a bunch of people learn an interpretive dance, and it's like supposed to be some angel came from above to teach them this dance. And you're like, why are they learning this dance? And it's to prevent a school shooting. What? I just gave the show away for anybody who's ready to binge.
Starting point is 00:00:38 Is it fiction? The original angel. I don't know. Maybe a documentary. I don't remember. It was a long time ago. Well, did the dance stop a school shooting? Yes, but it ended up shooting the original angel. So the bullet has... So he really became an angel. Phyllis from the office was like a lunch lady
Starting point is 00:00:51 or something and like helped the kids. The dance was really stupid. Look it up if you haven't watched the original, the OA it's called. I think they're trying to make a second season. That's why it's on my mind. OAO is one and only. Oh, great. Yeah, I'll take that too.
Starting point is 00:01:03 It's better than the OA. It's much better than... I'llO is one and only. Oh great, yeah, I'll take that too. It's better than the O-A. It's much better than, I'll take the one and only over the O-A. So let's see if you can match the pithy adding to the stew as Greg Ott with your own comments and questions. I'm trying to entertain the audience. I'm trying to tell them what to watch
Starting point is 00:01:20 and what not to watch. Keep trying, keep trying. All right, well, if you don't like that, maybe you'll like this. Who do you have? Now remember, Greg picks what comments and what questions there are. So if it seems that everyone that's asking this
Starting point is 00:01:35 has me on a dartboard, that's because he curated it this way. You might think I curated it this way. This is also what people wish to say to you. So what does that say about you? There are a lot of, I love, I like, I want. We have some of that. Yeah. Do we? Some love, some like, some want. Yeah. We got it. Here's the first call. It's a phone call. Hi Chris. I was so surprised to hear that Trump didn't levy any taxes on Russia. He said that there are so many sanctions. I think that's how he put it, that it wouldn't matter.
Starting point is 00:02:12 I'm wondering, and you start watching for this, is Trump working some kind of backdoor deal with Putin, giving Putin a break in some way on tariffs in exchange for Putin giving Trump a break with Ukraine, which will be interesting to watch. Thank you and rent the mass. So if Trump were doing what you suggested to get a better deal for Ukraine, that would be awesome. It is true that there's a lot of economic pressure and sanctions on Russia already. I also think that the administration isn't wrong to be careful about how much pressure
Starting point is 00:02:56 they're putting on Putin. You can argue whether or not you think Putin is pressured or not, or feeling the effects of the pressure. But I do understand why they wouldn't want to overdo it with Putin when they're trying to get him to do something. But you also don't have to look real hard to feed your suspicion of whether or not our president is doing anything that seems like it may be financially relevant to him. The guy is allowing crypto to be sold
Starting point is 00:03:27 that he benefits from directly and he is offering to meet with the top holders. He is building, putting his name on, investing in, being paid to, I don't know, whatever it is, but they're creating a new club in DC for dignitaries and hotshots to come in and they get like special memberships and Trump's gonna benefit from it
Starting point is 00:03:47 and they're in Washington to do business with the country. I mean, it's got a mulliamance written all over it. This is just exposing a loophole and it's supposed to be about the smell test and all of this stuff smells to high heaven. Now, not if you're holding your nose, and that's what MAGA does, and not if that's all you wanna do is smell bad things,
Starting point is 00:04:11 which is what the Democrats do. So that's why there's gotta be, and lucky for all of us, the biggest space is inside those two fringes. The majority is not necessarily in the middle. You never wanna be in the middle. You never want to be in the middle of any kind of conflict. Why? Because you've got both sides shooting at you. That's where I am. But the majority is, yeah, the middle, but it's the whole. Okay? The fringes are what is dominating, and we have to stop that.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Hi, Chris. My name is Darren. I realize that you have absolutely no faith in either of the parties, but I was just wondering, you used to have a thing back when you were at CNN that really stuck with me, telling them to just do their damn job. So if they actually did their damn job and just governed instead of all these partisan games, would we actually be in a better place? And would your opinion on the parties change at all? I was just wondering. Thanks, Spite.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Good question. Thank you for being constructive. Two, no, they should do their damn job. Right now, Trump isn't really helping them or pushing them to do their job. He's only passed like five pieces of legislation early on in his administration because he's all about showing this power
Starting point is 00:05:35 of the unified executive and wanting to do everything himself. I do think that if Congress members did more deal making, it would be better for us, but it would not change how I feel about the parties. They are the problem. They are the root of this binary battle to the bottom. The division is almost exclusively manufactured. We are fighting over culture issues and controversies that are completely made up.
Starting point is 00:06:02 We divide this country over a single homicide of somebody, and it's absolutely wrong. What happened in Lake Enriley is horrible. It's one too many, any way you want to look at it. But it is also an artificial issue. We have crime issues in this country. Our homicide problem is not from illegal immigrants, okay? Yeah, but there shouldn't be any. There shouldn't be any of a lot of crime issues in this country. Our homicide problem is not from illegal immigrants, okay? Yeah, but
Starting point is 00:06:27 there shouldn't be any. There shouldn't be any of a lot of things that we haven't made a top priority. The division is manufactured, and it is manufactured by people who are in the business of splitting us up for profit and for their own advantage. There's only one part of the equation that benefits from the division. It ain't you. It ain't me. Because we wind up picking a side based on whether or not guys my side should play high school female sports. And then I wind up having to stay with that side no matter what they're pitching,
Starting point is 00:07:00 even if the policies are against my own financial interests for me and my family. Because I sided with them over some stupid culture issue. Still against the parties, always against the parties, anti-party. There's a lot of talk about the autism and ADHD. I don't see anyone linking it to the red dye. It might be something your team wants to look into. Almost 30 years ago, someone told me
Starting point is 00:07:29 I should avoid for a healthy child. Just a thought you might wanna look into since you're such a good reporter. I don't know anything about red dye. I've heard the same kind of bad things about it as you. I know that this is something that Bobby Kennedy is looking at. He should make the case to the American people about what the science is and what the policy should be. I know that this is something that Bobby Kennedy is looking at.
Starting point is 00:07:45 He should make the case to the American people about what the science is and what the policy should be. I am a little slow on these kinds of suspicions because they change every five seconds. This is bad. This is good. I mean, just look at wine, you know, red wine. Red wine, glassy day is good. Oh, no, it's bad.
Starting point is 00:08:01 No, it's really good for you. No, it's bad. No, just don't drink two. Well, maybe two or three or four. It doesn't really matter. Well, unless you need the Reservatrol. Oh, no, it's bad. No, it's really good for you. No, it's bad. No, just don't drink two. Well, maybe two or three or four, it doesn't really matter. Well, unless you need the Reservatrol, and then, oh wait, what's that again? The Reservatrol?
Starting point is 00:08:09 You know, it never changes. And it's just somebody selling fear, and then a fix. Fear, fix, fear, fix. So I don't know what the real deal is with dye. I'd have to believe that anything you put in food to color it probably is not exactly enhancing your health, okay? But we need straight talk and answers.
Starting point is 00:08:30 And we're not getting it right now because the premium is on the controversy. So it's up to Bobby Kennedy. He wanted the job, he's into Maha. He said he was gonna go after them about processed sugars and other things that they're putting in our food that nobody else has anywhere else. If this is one of those things,
Starting point is 00:08:46 tell us and let us know what the basis is for it so we can make our own determinations. That's being a critical thinker. Chris, Jeff from Windsor. One of these days, I hope your sidekick lets my comment make the show. I just listened to the Steve Bannon episode. Excellent.
Starting point is 00:09:03 I'm so glad you're doing it. A couple months ago, I thought you were too easy. One of the more radical people you've interviewed, but now I really appreciate how you do not necessarily get into confrontations with your guests. Anyway, keep up the good work. Keep having these different guests on your show. Thanks.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Thank you. I like to get after it, and I like to have confrontational interviews, and I like to get after it and I like to have confrontational interviews and I like to chase after guys but you just can't do it all the time and Very often see what you're not I'm with you and I get your desire to want to see people held to account But don't confuse that with the value of understanding
Starting point is 00:09:43 What it means when I ask a question and they can't answer it. See what I'm saying? And sometimes it's what's not said in response to a question that tells you what you need to know as opposed to me just chasing after them about that same thing. Got it?
Starting point is 00:10:02 Support comes from Oracle. Look, all businesses know that there is a growing expense eating at profits. It is the cloud computing bill. Now, you may have gotten a deal to start, but now the spend is getting very high, increasing every year, and what you're getting for your money is getting less and less valuable.
Starting point is 00:10:25 What if you could cut your cloud bill in half and improve performance at the same time? Well, if you act by May 31, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, OCI, can help you do just that. OCI is the next generation cloud designed for every workload. You can run any application, including AI projects. You can do it faster, more securely, and most importantly, you can do it for less. In fact, Oracle has a special promotion right now. And it will allow you to cut your cloud bill in half when you switch to OCI.
Starting point is 00:11:01 The savings are real. On average, OCI costs about 50% less for compute, 70% less for storage, 80% less for networking. You can join outfits like Modal, Skydance Animation, and today's innovative AI tech companies who upgraded each and all of them to OCI and saved. Offer is only for new US customers with a minimum financial commitment. See if you qualify. You will get half off if you do at oracle.com slash CCP. That's oracle.com slash CCP. Hey, Chris.
Starting point is 00:11:42 This is Andy from North Bergen, New Jersey. I watch you all the time. Chris Cuomo project, I think is one of the, should be number one on YouTube because you have just great content. I love it. So I want to congratulate you on that. I know your brother is running for mayor. I think that he's going to do great, much better than, he's going to improve on the
Starting point is 00:11:59 situation that's there now, but that's besides the point. The question to you Chris is this whole thing with the Maryland father thing. I mean, he came in here illegally and they want to push due process. So, I mean, if you came in here illegally, you're not a citizen of this country, you're not, you broke the law by coming in here.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Do they have the right to get due process? I thought that was only within the confines of this country. If you're here as a legal citizen, that you're entitled to due process. Like, help me understand that, please. I appreciate it. Yes, you have due process. You and I, assuming we're both citizens,
Starting point is 00:12:35 have the most due process. A green card holder has less due process than us, but has due process. Everyone in the country has due process. Everyone who is physically in America or American controlled territory has due process under the Constitution. Well, that's a lefty idea. No, it's a quote from a may he rest in peace Justice Nino Scalia. Okay. One of the most famous conservative justices of the modern era. Okay? How much due process? How is it satisfied?
Starting point is 00:13:10 That's the question. So, with Garcia, I'm not calling him the Maryland dad. That's bullshit. That's politics. Okay? He did enter illegally. Does that mean he has no due process? No, it doesn't mean that. You still get due process. You don't get as much as you do or I do. What is that level? That's something that's worthy of debate and legislatively could be changed. And Trump doesn't wanna do that.
Starting point is 00:13:33 He just wants to have the fight so that you think he is caring and getting after it and all that other shit instead of doing the hard work of change. Now, if you enter illegally, can you there then become legal? Of course. Asylum, or as in this case, what Ronald Reagan made part of domestic law in 1980, which is
Starting point is 00:13:54 withholding deportation. You're not getting asylum because you're not in a protected class, but I do find your case, the judge finds your case for fear to be reasonable. So until that fear is altered because the threat goes away, they cannot deport you. That's the situation right now. There is a legal federal order. Now is that my opinion? No, it's the Supreme Court's decision.
Starting point is 00:14:21 It's their opinion. Nine, zero. Okay? Nine, zero. They've said this. So the idea that he doesn't have to follow it or that's not what their order was or that's not what the decision means is all bullshit. Now, the mistake, the mistake is what the Democrats are making. Going to El Salvador and treating this like it's about the person. He is not someone to fight for as a person. The principle is worth fighting for. Due process, that's the first name and last name
Starting point is 00:14:53 I'm making it about, not Garcia, due process. That's who I'm fighting for. I'm not fighting for him. It's like George Floyd all over again, okay? Not the patron saint of bad policing. Don't make it about the person, make it about the principle. Do process, bring them back. I know it's a pain in the ass.
Starting point is 00:15:17 Doing it the right way is often a pain in the ass, especially when you do it the wrong way. If they had done it the right way originally, it wouldn't be as much of a pain in the ass as it is right now. If they had picked this guy up and said, we don't think this condition counts anymore. We don't think he has a reasonable fear of being returned to anymore.
Starting point is 00:15:34 And don't let me hear that shit about he put Guatemala. That was a clerical error in the order. The government already admitted and acknowledged during the litigation that it's about Guatemala. So those gotchas that you see on social media from the pod people, they're just they're just playing gotcha. It's bullshit, okay? The government acknowledged that it's about El Salvador. The government did an appeal. Now they're saying the condition no longer exists because the president of El Salvador says that gang
Starting point is 00:15:59 that he said he was afraid of isn't there anymore. Okay. Then they should have taken him right then to a judge, made that case, won, and then thrown him out. Now they gotta bring him back, have that case, and then if they win, throw him out. You gotta do it the right way. How you do things in America matters. ["The New York Times"]
Starting point is 00:16:18 ["The New York Times"] ["The New York Times"] ["The New York Times"] ["The New York Times"] Did you hear that? No. Great job. No, listen.
Starting point is 00:16:29 I hear Tim McGraw. Do you hear that? I heard Phil McGraw. Oh, Phil McGraw. I heard Tim McGraw. I hear Phil McGraw. Huh. Why are you asking?
Starting point is 00:16:43 What do I hear about this? I thought somebody, well, they called your phone number, so they clearly have an interest in you, but I thought it was somebody calling, trying to use their voice system to play Tim McGraw on their phone, but you think they were saying Phil McGraw, which is the full name of Dr. Phil, correct? Dr. Philip McGraw? I think they were saying Phil McGraw and they wanted to ask about Dr. Phil. And they never got their question out.
Starting point is 00:17:08 What's something you'd like to say about Dr. Phil? You've had him on the show before. Dr. Phil should not have played cop on the deportation, the ICE raids that he went on. And because he did it that way, I wound up not going out with ICE because I didn't want to be part of the operation. I wanted to go there and observe what was happening.
Starting point is 00:17:30 But I wish him well with Marriage Street Media. I think he's an important voice in America. I know a lot of people don't like his politics but I don't give a shit. It's about whether or not he's a voice that adds anything to the discussion. I think the answer is yes. You think my voice adds to the discussion? That's good. Support comes from one's skin. Look, I'm getting older. I need to take care of my skin so that
Starting point is 00:17:55 I don't have to deal with the crepey skin, the smile lines, right? The lines, the crow's feet, all that stuff. That's how one skin came into my life, okay? And the dry skin, deeper wrinkles, sun protection, all of these things, I started getting blotchy and blemishy and all these other things as my skin started breaking down. Turns out, this all-woman team of scientists, okay, at OneSkin, They are the first to develop a longevity company
Starting point is 00:18:27 to target cellular senescence. And it turns out that this peptide they came up with helps reduce the amount of senescent cells, these cells that are making you look older, and it works. It's worked for me, it can work for you. OneSkin is the world's first longevity company. They focus on the cellular aspects of aging,
Starting point is 00:18:51 and by doing that, One Skin keeps your skin looking and acting younger, longer. Get started today and you're gonna get 15% off. Just use the code Cuomo at Oneskin.co. Oneskin.co, use the code Cuomo, get 15% off. Now they're gonna ask you where you heard about them. Please, show some love for the Chris Cuomo project. Invest in the health and longevity
Starting point is 00:19:14 of your skin with Oneskin. Your future self will thank you. Here's some YouTube comments. This one is from your video about the truth about Trump's third term rumors. Abandoned Minds 11 says, this didn't age well. At 403 Cuomo says, even with the Signalgate stuff, which I thought was a lot of propaganda, if it were to happen again, there'd be consequences. It did happen again.
Starting point is 00:19:40 Where are the consequences? Here's the problem. It didn't happen again. My little gotcha lemming bitch. Here's what happened, okay? Here's what happened. It's the same situation that he did with another group of people, okay? And again, here's my feeling about it.
Starting point is 00:20:00 Is it wrong for him to communicate that way? Yes. Is it wrong for him to communicate that way? Yes. Is it wrong for him to communicate that kind of information with those people? Yes. Is it fireable? Yes. Will he be fired? No. So I'm not going to keep chasing it when the president of the United States has said he's not going to fire him over it and you are overlooking something. Because look, for you, be honest. This is just Trump sucks.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Hegseth sucks. Everything about Trump sucks. That's all you want. You want Hegseth gone, canceled, get the scalp. We proved that Trump is bad. He still beat your ass. He still beat your ass. You got more people thrown out of his first administration
Starting point is 00:20:41 than they've ever seen before. He still beat your ass. You impeached him twice. He still beat your ass. You litigated him all over the place. You prosecuted him. You sued him. You won different jurisdictions, different states, federal state. You still lost. Why? Because Trump sucks isn't enough because you are not seen as better. Now, how does that fucking feel? The Democrats lost, Trump didn't win. More people in this country, a majority of those who voted, thought that Trump sounded more normal than you people. Think about that.
Starting point is 00:21:18 Oh, they're all racists. Maybe you're the racist. Maybe you're the fucked up one. And let me tell you, country is not MAGA. This is a center, center right, center left, depending on what we're talking about, country. Not this fringy shit that you people are obsessed with. Did the information that Hegseth put there get into the wrong hands? No. Did it compromise the operation? No. Did it compromise the operation?
Starting point is 00:21:46 No. Did it put any of our troops in danger where they wound up being hurt or compromised? No. That's the end of the analysis. What a shoulda, coulda. Trump won't give you the scalp. He will not fire Hegseth over this.
Starting point is 00:22:02 How much time do you want me to spend? And it grows out of the same situation. So it is not a new example. If there was another set of battle plans and he did it again, I think he might be in more hot water. But again, it comes down to Trump. And you just can't take it
Starting point is 00:22:20 because you hate that motherfucker. And I understand that. But that's your problem. That's not my problem. And my analysis stands. And I'm not gonna waste time on something that, just go do it on threads. Go do it on Blue Sky.
Starting point is 00:22:36 Go find your silo of lefties who all wanna talk about how terrible this is. Go ahead. See where does that catch you? Oh, we're about what's right. No, you does that get you? Oh, where about what's right? No, you lost. And you got to be in the business of better. And you are obsessed with saying why Trump and co are worse, not why you're better. Speaking of Trump and co, this is from your interview with James Fishback. Brad Boyd,
Starting point is 00:23:00 883 writes, instead of terrifying every American, how about raising corporate tax rates, then giving tax breaks to corporations that make their products here? Good. Look, I think there are lots of ideas. I think you should absolutely incentivize people who are here, 100%. And I don't have any problem with tariffs being used.
Starting point is 00:23:18 Make the case, make them specific, make them strategic, and they can be part of the mix. They are the part of the mix right now. They have been over the course of history. But just as like a blunt instrument where you just slap them on 5 million percent or whatever it was and pull them back when the rich people ask you to,
Starting point is 00:23:34 it just doesn't make any sense. I'm not saying there aren't ways to achieve this. I think it is a good intention. I think it is an ambitious and positive and progressive policy goal to have the majority benefit more from economic activity. How do you do it? You just came up with an idea.
Starting point is 00:23:51 Better than Trump's. From your interview with Sarah Palin, Richard M. 1981 writes, just because you think someone's worldview is smaller than yours doesn't mean you are better or more competent to do the job. Also, just because someone hasn't walked in your shoes doesn't mean that they can't possibly understand your needs or understand what matters to you.
Starting point is 00:24:07 That is a response to Sarah Palin kind of shitting on AOC for a while. There's another comment along those lines from Carmen Jones, 9105. Oh my God, Chris has had plenty of people whom I've disagreed with in the past, yet they are smart. They make some sense, even if I didn't like what they say. This one, no way.
Starting point is 00:24:23 Believe it or not, AOC may be young, but she's definitely more in touch with what people need. Wow, horrible. I can't finish listening to this idiot. Palin is very polarizing, but she does reflect a big chunk of the right. And I think it's so important that you fight through your disagreement,
Starting point is 00:24:43 you fight through your disgust, you fight through your disagreement, you fight through your disgust, you fight through your bias to remain open to understanding better what beat your ass. Do you understand? You lost to these people convincingly. Don't you want to know why? Don't you want to be open to the idea that you missed something, that you don't get it, that maybe there's a common concern, maybe there's a point of advantage that you missed, and that if you were to listen to where they're coming from and how they're doing it and why they're doing it,
Starting point is 00:25:19 maybe there's something to be learned seeing how they beat your ass. You keep saying beat your ass. I'm laughing at that. That's the phrase you keep coming back to, they beat your ass, saying beat your ass. I'm laughing at that. That's the phrase you keep coming back to, the beat your ass, the beat your ass. I'm just, if you're hearing me laugh. I'm not doing a bit here. I'm just saying.
Starting point is 00:25:32 How often do Republicans win the popular vote? Not often. Okay. How often do they win every swing state? Not often. How often does someone who is impeached twice, found guilty and liable of all kinds of shit, universally denoted as one of the most unliked people in modern American history, win the way that Trump did. What does it tell you? You lost. You got your ass beat by him. You made this happen.
Starting point is 00:26:05 He didn't. This man is a proxy for grievance. He is a spirit animal of people's outrage at you. The system, the establishment, you gotta see it. You've gotta see it. You've gotta put it in your fucking brain. I know that all these other people are saying, he's dirty, he's bad, they're the worst of
Starting point is 00:26:30 us. They beat you and you've gotten yourself into a battle of fringes and you've ignored the majority. Your party was about these people who are for him now. You were the blue collar. You were the majority. You were against the special interests. The Republican, the caricature used to be a guy,
Starting point is 00:26:54 a fat guy with a cigar and a pocket chain and a suit driving a Lincoln. Now, it's a guy in a flannel who, you know, looks like me and is driving a pickup truck. Those were your people. How did this happen? That's what you should be thinking about. My father, may he rest in peace,
Starting point is 00:27:17 he would be going nuts at how you've lost the plot. But you just wanna look at Trump and say, yeah, but Trump sucks. He beat your ass. Palin's so stupid. They beat your ass. What does that tell you? Don't you want to do better,
Starting point is 00:27:37 or do you just want to keep repeating the same thing? You know the old stupid line, right? Doing the same thing, expecting a different outcome. What's that called? The definition of insanity. I don't have a clean transition into this UFO thing. This is your interview with Christopher Mellon. JZJ2212 says,
Starting point is 00:27:58 let's talk about aliens ships posed as stars. And Eric Galley, 8003 says, stick to aliens, your TDS, I think it means Trump Derangement Syndrome, your TDS clouds your political vision. So stick to aliens. You don't have any political vision. Okay?
Starting point is 00:28:19 You are the one suffering from myopia. Look that up. You are the one who can't get out of your own way. You have Trump derangement syndrome. I don't. I called his first win. I called his second win. I don't necessarily like that he's what America is choosing,
Starting point is 00:28:39 but I understand it. You don't, because you just see him as giving you this power that your lowly, stupid ass would have never had otherwise. I think we can do better than that. Now, I'm also not running for office. I also have to be fair. And I do not believe that people like you should be judged the way Trump is. There are a lot of people who are desperate for the right reasons.
Starting point is 00:29:05 And it's sad and it's unfortunate. And we should do better. And I'm open to that. And I am fair despite the fact that I have to deal with assholes like you on a regular basis. And if it were about my personal life, I might make different choices. But this is what I signed up for. So I will engage you.
Starting point is 00:29:27 And I don't want to give a shit about aliens. I don't believe in little green men. I don't believe in alien spacecraft. Well, Casey, May 5,449 says some of them come from space. They are aliens. People have talked to them and interacted with them over the years. Yeah, sure, sure. One of them is my cousin.
Starting point is 00:29:43 I believe in transparency, okay? If you're spending hundreds of millions of dollars and using special operators and putting together departments and programs, and then you're not gonna tell me about them, that doesn't work for me. Well, but it's national security. That doesn't work for me. The government works for me, okay? I am not at their pleasure in terms of what
Starting point is 00:30:08 they tell me or not. I believe in transparency. The issue with UAPs or UFOs, whatever the fuck you want to call them, is transparency for me and not little green men or area 51. The reason area 51, the little little green men exist as a boogeyman is because of the vacuum of transparency. Every conspiracy depends on a lack of disclosure of what is actually true. That's what it is for me. And it's not an offset to Trump derangement syndrome, you asshole. It's that I believe transparency matters. And I believe that you got to call out the powerful.
Starting point is 00:30:43 That's the job. And it's not my fault that Trump lies and dissembles more than most. He asks for it. And by the way, he likes it. I'll tell you what he doesn't care about. They say he doesn't care about media scrutiny. Yeah, he does. They say he doesn't care about whether people like or dislike what he does. Yeah, he does.
Starting point is 00:31:03 I'll tell you what he doesn't care about, whether he's telling you the truth. I don't even think he believes that you deserve the truth, to be honest. If you look at the way he conducts himself and when he bullshits and why, I don't think he respects you very much. You know, you've talked before about how, if there were aliens out there,
Starting point is 00:31:23 somebody like Trump couldn't keep it a secret. Like it would be like that kind of secret, like he's, you would want that information out there. Have you considered the possibility to end things on a lighter note? What if Trump were the alien? What if Trump had come here from a different planet and we don't know this yet?
Starting point is 00:31:38 Wouldn't that be kind of interesting? It would be incredibly. It would be incredibly interesting and I would want him cut open and we should study him. What if it's like you know in the movie Alien where the thing comes out of the chest and you know it's like we get pretty graphic. I think the scariest part of that movie for me is when it was right up on her face. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:03 All the stuff is dripping off it. There's something about that proximity. Have you ever noticed that? That it could be someone you like, okay? It could be someone you're very attracted to. When they get right up in your space, you ever notice how upsetting it is to you? How you feel like, you almost feel like an energetic,
Starting point is 00:32:19 like almost like a magnetic kind of quality going on when they come close to you. Are you saying you don't want me to come over to you right now? You can come over to me, but you better be careful how? I got all these wires. Yeah, that's what it is. What I'm saying is we have space issues and there was something about that scene
Starting point is 00:32:38 and that alien was right up here like that. Did it for me. I don't wanna get too graphic, but there's a lot of fiction out there, science fiction, where you can imagine how an alien is piloted if Mr. Trump were to be an alien. I think Meet Dave, I think that's the one with Eddie Murphy. I think they're like, humans are like vessels for like a small tiny alien to control. Like that'd be pretty funny if like Eddie Murphy was actually inside of Mr. Trump for all the Meet Dave fans out there.
Starting point is 00:33:03 It would certainly explain a lot about what he says and how, if there were a comedian in there. You know, look, I mean, I'll give you a raw take on Trump. I don't know why he goes to such great lengths to deceive when the truth is enough for him to make his case. Especially the case he's making now about populist changes in our economic reality. The truth is enough. I don't know why he has to exaggerate
Starting point is 00:33:32 and create straw man and all of these other distractions. The truth is enough for him to make a very compelling case that things have to change in this country. One could say the truth is out there. The truth is always out there. Yeah, that's an X-Files thing. But it's just that it's buried under a pile of obfuscation. As hostile and as demeaning as I may come off,
