The Chris Cuomo Project - Trump Has Lost The Plot

Episode Date: April 16, 2026

Chris Cuomo argues that President Trump has “lost the plot” — focusing on Iran while missing the issues that matter most at home. He breaks down why the current approach to Iran may be strength...ening the regime’s influence rather than weakening it, and why the justification for urgency around nuclear threats doesn’t fully hold up under scrutiny. Cuomo also explains how messaging failures and strategic missteps are shaping both the conflict and global perception. The larger point, he says, is about priorities: the real fight isn’t overseas — it’s affordability, healthcare, and the economic pressure facing Americans right now. Starting point is 00:00:34 Okay? Not only are we seeing this president make moves that don't make sense, but we see something far more frightening than anything to do with Trump. We see that the regime is being boosted. We see that they are starting to drive the dialogue. There is a problem here that every, Everybody has to deal with and there is an opportunity that people who want to see something different in America better identify and sees.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Let me tell you what's going on right now, what these memes are suggestive of. This is not noise. This is signal. The issue is not simply whether or not Trump is winning the war because that's really just about what's being done and what this regime represents. The real problem is not that Trump is losing the war. The problem is that President Trump has lost the plot. I'm Chris Cuomo.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Welcome to the Chris Cuomo Project. Let me explain this. For most, the memes are enough. He thinks he's Jesus. He's crazy. He's a megalomaniac. Not the issue. The response is the issue.
Starting point is 00:02:03 Why? This is why the ceasefire had to be extended because only America wants this to end. Now, I know that that is easy to rebut in a sentence or two. What are you talking about? They've been pounded. They've been pounded. They've been decimated. They've been obliterated. They've been this. They've been that. Okay. Why do they keep coming? You see the meme in the response to the Jesus thing, right? You see the meme about $20.28 a gallon, right? Why? Well, one, this regime is not a bunch of cavemen the way you think they are. They got cavemen mentality. They're a bunch of religious zealots and they're murderous and not to be trusted. And they have a really, really poisonous idea of their role in humanity. But they're clever. You don't last 47 years and multi-generations in a place where you don't belong pushing a faith that is not organic and just be stupid. Okay? They're very good at the war of words.
Starting point is 00:03:07 They are savaging you on social media right now, and you don't even know. They have massive troll forms, massive, sophisticated. It's not like you're going to look at it and think, oh, this person is clearly not an English speaker as a first language. This must be somebody else. First of all, get over the idea that your only concern is people who sound exactly like you in terms of diction and intonation. Second, they are getting stronger because of this right now. It is easy for America to pound them physically with military force, and we've done that. And the argument that you are now safer because they are now weaker, okay, let's look at
Starting point is 00:03:55 that. There's something to that. There's certainly value in degrading the military assets and the ability to of the regime in Iran. Absolutely. Now, is it worth what it is costing us? That I don't know. It is very difficult to justify that everything that's been done here makes us safer at home in a way that is worthwhile. Why? Because none of their shit could reach us anyway. Oh, yeah, but they were going to get a nuclear weapon. Says who? Who says who, Bill O'Reilly? Says who, Trump? Well, no, they were just weeks away. Weeks away from what? Well, the head of the IAEA, he's
Starting point is 00:04:33 said, what did he say? Take a look at what he said. Take a look at what he said. That since 2021, when Iran rightly or wrongly blamed the Israelis for bombing one of their enrichment facilities, they started enriching at higher percentages and they were allowed to under the JCPOA, which was destroyed by Trump anyway. And they were enriching up to 60%. What's the problem with that? hard to get to 60, easy to get to 90. Why does 90 matter? Well, 90 matters because that's weapons grade. Oh, so they were weeks away from a weapon. No. They may have been close relatively to weapons grade uranium. Same thing. No, it isn't. You know how I know that? That's what the head of the IAEA really said. He didn't say they were weeks away from a weapon.
Starting point is 00:05:21 He said there were weeks away potentially from enriching uranium from 60 to 90 percent because it is a relatively accelerated process once you get to 60. But it's a distinction with a difference because there are all these other steps in weaponizing it so that it doesn't blow up in your face so that it's not unstable so that it can actually be used as a weapon that could actually reach something. And that, what did he say? Could be months or even years away. So there goes your imminency argument. I'm not arguing that it is wrong to want to stop the regime from having nuclear capabilities. It's not the point. How you did it and when you did it is the point, not why you did it. The president is losing the plot. Okay, why? Because he is trying to justify weak positions.
Starting point is 00:06:13 All they have is regime bad. Regime want nuke. We do whatever we must. And if you don't agree, you like regime. You like regime with nuke. I say it like that because that's how primitive that thinking is, how caveman-ish. But here's why we all share the same problem. This president is losing the plot. What is this really about? This is about influence. The regime now has more influence than it's ever had. And remember, the one thing they really feared, the president is taken off the table,
Starting point is 00:06:47 which is what? Disappearing them, taking them out of power. He keeps saying he's not going to. He keeps negotiating with them. Now, I will tell you this. Another plot point here that's being missed. This guy tells you only he can fix it, that he's the greatest dealmaker ever,
Starting point is 00:07:03 and that he wants to make a deal, has to make a deal, and he knows how to make a deal. Why isn't he at the table? Because he's lost the plot. That's why. Why you send in J.D. Vance? You think J.D. Vance is as good as you, Mr. Trump? Of course you don't.
Starting point is 00:07:18 Steve Wickoff, good real estate guy. I don't like what his son is doing, making money off the administration with Trump's sons, which is disgusting and the fact that you guys ignore it show you were never real about draining the swamp. Talk about losing the plot. But good for Whitkoff for serving this way when he didn't have to. He had a pretty nice life. But he's not set up to do this. Jared Kushner, that money-grubbing guy? Why is he money-grubbing? You're saying that because he's Jewish? Yeah. Chris Cuomo is saying it because he's Jewish. Please.
Starting point is 00:07:50 I'm saying it because what he does is grub money from the same people that he is now speaking to on behalf of the United States. That's why I'm saying it. And it's capital that he doesn't deserve on the basis of his investment savvy. He's getting it because of the affinity to Trump. Okay? The president is losing the plot. He's not going to make the kind of deal that he's going to want here. And he thinks he's going to just blame it on them and say, look, this isn't the deal I wanted, but this is the deal they brought me.
Starting point is 00:08:19 he's losing the plot this is about influence and when he didn't pick the allies he went alone he's losing the plot of how influence works it's got to be the many against the few he's thinking that geopolitics works the way Twitter does which is that the loudest few
Starting point is 00:08:40 dominate the interests of the many but remember he doesn't have something going for him that he does on Twitter which is what The guy running the show at Twitter changed the algorithm to preference outrage and what Trump is selling. That doesn't exist in geopolitics. There is no algorithm at play that is manipulated to bring out the worst in us. You have other state actors who actually want to see something better,
Starting point is 00:09:05 who actually have legitimate interests in what is right and wrong. You see what I'm saying? He's lost the plot. Now look, putting himself out at Jesus, as Jesus, Jesus, that's this to Maga. That's all it was. It was, I can make a joke about whatever I want. You people are stupid.
Starting point is 00:09:25 I don't respect what you believe. It's the same way when he read the Bible verse. Right here in John 316, colon, nah. He doesn't respect what you're about. He's just paying lip service to it so you stay kissing his ass. I know, that's insulting. You should feel insulted. By him.
Starting point is 00:09:47 He lost the plot. Why? Because he's showing he doesn't give a shit about your faith. He thinks you're stupid enough to believe that I'm made up that he's presenting himself in an effigy of Jesus and that you'll think he thought it was a doctor. And that you'll be okay with him saying, yeah, but you know, I do lay hands. I can't heal people. He's right like that in your face and you're okay with it because he's losing the plot. And that's why we saw what we saw at TPUSA. Why do you think there was decreased ticket sales? Who wants to Shaw sign up for a MAGA proxy event when there are a bunch of Christians, right, TPSA, and you just insulted their faith? Like, and you meant to, by the way. You meant to
Starting point is 00:10:38 insult my faith. And then you lied to me about it. He's losing the plot because he's never been held to account. So he thinks he can say and say. do whatever he wants about anything that he wants. And it's not going to work with the really faithful, although he's got something with you that he does not have with the regime in Iran. Who else is going to pander to your politics? Because that's all you are now as a political action group. You're no different than people who want, I don't know, reproductive rights or gun rights or any kind of right. You're no different. You're not better. You're not. Because you signed up with someone where character didn't count, and that's what you used to always say.
Starting point is 00:11:20 It's not about morality. You went with someone who's inherently immoral, and you know it. He is amoral at his best, and that should be enough for you to reject. But you didn't. Why? Because you just like everybody else. And you went with the politics, which is fine. Just don't think you're better. That's why he does this to you and says, look, I'm Jesus. I'm Jesus. Right? This is why he has his guy saying that he's divinely sent because you gobble it up. And those of you who are not in that group need to see that. Why? Because it's proof that he's lost the plot, man. He has lost the plot. He has elevated the regime, not just as a state actor, right, negotiating with them. That's why they used to say we don't
Starting point is 00:12:06 negotiate with terrorists. Why? One, they're psycho and we'll break the deal. Okay? That's all Iran has done is break deals. Second reason is what? You elevate them. You elevate them. That's what he did because he lost the plot. So now he's making a deal with guys who aren't going to keep the deal about something that he's not really getting right with a team that's not really set up to get it right. Because he has lost the plot. Support for the Chris Cuomo project comes from I Restore. Now look, you know I'm using it. I use the shampoo, the conditioner, the serum, and I use their secret tool, the iris store elite. That's this bike helmet that has all of this LED laser hair growth, helpful technology in it, okay? 200 LEDs to help your hair. And I'll tell you what, man,
Starting point is 00:13:03 I mean, look, it's messy, but everybody who sees it tells me, hey, your hair looks good, looks good, looks thicker, it looks more. I mean, look, I'm doing a lot of things, but this is definitely part of my routine. So, you know, the products that they have for your hair and to help it be stronger, you know, to make what you have work and to give you a chance to have more, I'm doing it so far, so good, okay? I Restore is kicking off their anniversary sale with some huge discounts on their red light therapy devices. Right now you can save on customer favorites like the I Restore Elite Helmet and the Alumina Face Mask, which is something that my wife tried out and she really liked it. I'm not a face mask guy, but you know,
Starting point is 00:13:46 you do you. Go to irrestore.com and use the code Cuomo and take advantage of the sale. Cuomo at irisore.com. Please support the show. Tell them that Cuomo sent you so my advertisers like me. And I'm telling you, I'm using it. I will not tell you about something that I haven't checked into at a minimum and that I'm using in the main. And I restore, I've used it, and I'm going to keep And here's how we know he lost the plot, the moment he went into Iran. There was only one way to do this in a way that wouldn't be consistent with what he was supposed to be about in this administration. Last night, I authorized, based on intelligence, that the Iranian regime was lying to us
Starting point is 00:14:33 about their ambitions with respect to a nuclear weapon. So we bombed the bejesus at a bunch of what we believe. is their enrichment facilities with the help of the IDF, and we bombed this, and we bomb this, and it's going to last another day, and this is F-A-F-O, and then, now let's see if they want to do something better and different.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Got to get back to work. Got health care problems, got affordability problems, got a lot of stuff here at home. And if you don't do something different, we'll be back. See you soon. Hope not, but ready to.
Starting point is 00:15:09 That's the way you do it. It's not what he did. Why? Because he lost the plot. And he thought that now he'll be the great white warrior. He'll be the general. I start war as I win them. That's what he thought, right?
Starting point is 00:15:24 Because he lost the plot. What's the real war? Your purchasing power. The fact that all the prices are going up and your ability to pay is not or not nearly as much. That's the war. That is the war. That is the battle you signed up for. By the way, all of you did.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Because the left, the right, and the merely reasonable, all want this fight. And it's the right fight to have, and I'm here for it. I want a referee that fight. Why? It's worthy. You're not even going to change the regime. You said you're not going to change the regime. Why?
Starting point is 00:16:06 Because you lost the plot. You thought you could get an easy win and just what you think. Every other administration, Republican and Democrat, just missed the chance to bomb Iran. Really? You think that's the muscularity? He had the balls to do da-da-da-da. You see him over in Iran? He won't even go there to negotiate.
Starting point is 00:16:28 You didn't have balls? You think it takes balls to tell the U.S. military to do what only it can do? You made or military look like bullies, just like you did with ice. Not as bad, not as egregiously, not yet, although killing a school full of kids is not a good look. Bombing University is not a good look. He lost the plot. Maga was about here.
Starting point is 00:16:58 That's why I keep telling you about Fix America first. People who want better than Trump see the opportunity. The opportunity is not as simple as saying, oh, he's terrible for saying he's Jesus. He's terrible for lying about saying he's Jesus. He's terrible, full stop. Fuck talking about Trump. It doesn't move the needle.
Starting point is 00:17:22 You're not going to get people who voted for him to admit they were wrong. Who do you get to admit that they're wrong about anything? What you do is you find common cause and what would be better. Because that's the only reason they voted for him in the first place anyway. Because I'm not talking about all MAGA voters. I'm not talking about the real deep red hat brigade who are fueled by xenophobia. at best and prejudice in the main. I'm not talking about them. They are the few.
Starting point is 00:17:51 I'm talking about the reasonable few who went for MAGA out of desperation because they believed they had to stop what the left was about. Because the left made the mistake of allowing itself to be framed like what it should not be about, which is crazy culture wars and extreme economic ideas. Okay? I believe in that Democrats, you know, lost. Not that Trump won. problem is in a zero-sum binary battle doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:18:22 Right? Whether you screwed up or they were just better, it doesn't matter. You're in the same place. You're out. But now there's opportunity being out, especially because Trump has lost the plot. But you've got to see what that opportunity is. The opportunity is not to rub my face
Starting point is 00:18:36 in the fact that I voted for him because now I have to admit he sucks. You say your faith is most important to you. He just spit on your faith. Admit it. Why? Why not just say, holy cow, that Jesus thing, whoa, and then saying he's a doctor? When are we going to get back to health care? He wants to heal people.
Starting point is 00:18:57 Help, take on the health care people. He wants to fight a powerful regime. Fight the health care providers. You said you were going to call him to the White House. You didn't even do it. You called the coal people in and the oil people in instead to pat him on the heads and say, you can keep manipulating our markets? Go, yay!
Starting point is 00:19:14 He lost the plot. Mag is about here at home. He's not just getting his ass whooped on social media. The whole world is seeing this. Why do you think the Italian Prime Minister Maloney, who's kind of a baby Trump, just smacked him in the mouth? Why? Because you insult the Pope.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Someone who leads Italy is going to have to have a problem with it. Culturally, by the way, the idea that all Italians are really devout Catholics? No. It's tradition. also. The church is struggling in Italy. But there are standards. Okay? Look, like, you know the old rule, right? Like, let's say, what are your people really screws up, right? But then someone who's not one of your people says that. Shit talks. Hey, careful what you say. That's my boy. That's my family. Those are my people. And then you tell him, man, you fucked up. I had to defend you. Right? Why? Hey, outside, no.
Starting point is 00:20:15 We protect the house, and then we clean up the house. Okay? That's what we see playing out right now because Trump has lost the plot. Maloney is like, watch your mouth. You're the one, you're a hypocrite, you're being what you say you're against. We're not with this. I'm going to reconsider my deal with Israel because you seem to be letting them get away with too much, and you seem to be getting led by the nose by Israel's interests, not all of our interests.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Is that fair? Debatable. Debatable. I don't think Israel is well served by this relationship with Trump either, to be honest. Why? Well, there's an opportunity cost there. How so? He's giving them everything they want. First of all, they've already, always gotten the military aid. Why? Because they put it back into our defense contracting companies, 85% of it. They wind up making money. You shouldn't be pissed at Israel. You should be pissed at the people who get the money. that the politicians give to Israel to pay to the companies. Yeah, we should cut that funding off. And then Israel's going to be in the war of its life. Is that what you want for it to be worse? Because that's what it's going to be. Not me. However, for all that money, and we know there's a little bit of code there, right, Jews and money, right?
Starting point is 00:21:36 There's a little bit of that when you talk about them that you don't mean the same way when you're talking about other roots. But let's put it to the side. Let's just see it and then put it to the side because it's there. We're not going to fix that right. now, but let's just know that it's there. But look how they're getting trashed for fighting against existential threats to them. That's new. Why? Trump? Trump. Didn't explain what a lot of people saw as overreach. Didn't really make the case for what was going on. You know, that's complicated. Here's what's simple. The opportunity that is available because the president losing the
Starting point is 00:22:16 plot, which is what, fix America First. J.D. Vance sucks. Fix America First. They're never going to make a deal. We don't even know what they're having. They're lying. Fix America First. The war was a huge mistake. It's a waste of money. Fix America First.
Starting point is 00:22:36 Fix America First beats all of those. Why? Because it contains all of those. But it contains what those are not? Which is what? Better. This is who's worse. This is, this is what's better. Support for the Chris Cuomo project comes from superpower. I dig it. Here's why. It's all in the
Starting point is 00:22:58 blood, all right? You want to get better. You want to lose weight. You want to be stronger. You want to be your best self. Now's the time. Okay. You're in your 30s, 40s, 50s, 50s plus fitness, 40 plus fitness. 30s you can still get away with doing whatever you think is right in the moment. Forties, 50s, you can't. Take it from me. I've been there. You got to get the blood work. You've got to get the data. You've got to do you. specifically. You've got to see what you need. Superpower helps you do all of that. They send a licensed professional to your home. You can go to a nearby lab. It's one blood draw. You get over 100 biomarkers way more than you get with your Google CBC. And they're going to give you an app.
Starting point is 00:23:38 They're going to give you all the readings, all the numbers, all the ranges, thyroid hormones, metabolism, vitamins, minerals, environmental toxins. So you're going to see what you need. That is a superpower. Because everything else is guesswork. You're taking what everybody else takes. You don't know what you actually need. This was the big game changer for me.
Starting point is 00:24:01 And once I started doing this and understanding what's in my blood, my adjustments wound up actually making a lot more sense and making a lot more impact. So the other reason I want to tell you about superpower is blood work, doctors, concierge, medicine, that gets real pricey, real fast. Superpower is doing it in an affordable way. You can get the high-level care for under $200. And if you use my discount code, $179, make this the year that you stop guessing
Starting point is 00:24:37 about your health. With superpower, not only, will you reduce the price, by the way, so instead of spending hundreds and hundreds, it'll be $199. And if you use my code right now, Cuomo, you get another 20 bucks off. So use the code Cuomo when you go to superpower.com and you'll get another 20 bucks off your membership. Once you sign up, they're going to ask you how you heard about them. Tell them Cuomo sent me. The majority agrees about what would be better. We all know we have affordability issues. We all know it. Small businesses are struggling. We all know it. Purchasing power has to be remedied. Our system has to change. It cannot continue this way, where the interests of the many are subordinated to the wants of the few.
Starting point is 00:25:26 The needs of the many cannot come second to the wants of the few. Sure, there's always going to be top-end bias. Welcome to capitalism. But there do have to be rules and understandings that we used to have. You know, labor has been demonized as basically just some mob, right? Just a mob instrument. That's not what it was. It's not why it came up in the 20s when people were dying all over the place.
Starting point is 00:25:51 and getting exploited by these robber barons and these corporate barons, there were strength in numbers. They wound up paying workers more, and productivity went up. And it was a burgeoning class of people in this country the many who could live their dreams. What happened? You reduced their power, and you increased the influence of the investor class. You made a choice, and you can make a different one. It's not about taxing this shit out of the rich.
Starting point is 00:26:20 It's not about destroying capitalism. That's all bullshit. That's all which is worse playing to the fringe. Don't lose the plot. The plot is fix America first. Trump thinks he's Jesus. He's crazy. 25th Amendment.
Starting point is 00:26:35 Don't lose the plot. You're not getting the 25th Amendment. You're not getting it. Read it. 25th Amendment was to do two things. One, make sure we have presidential succession in place after the Kennedy assassination. Let's sort of we make sure we got a hard and fast process here because it was already in the Constitution, but it was scary, so we enumerated, spelled it out.
Starting point is 00:26:59 And it was scary enough to enough people that had actually passed as a constitutional amendment relatively quickly. What else did it do? Well, if, God forbid, somebody almost takes out one of our leaders again and they're incapacitated, what do we do? So there's a mechanism for that. But do you know what that mechanism is? I think it's actually Section D of the 25th Amendment. You need half the cabinet to say the president is incapacitated. You think that's going to happen here?
Starting point is 00:27:26 There's not a shit chance that that's going to happen. And you know it. Well, then why would you put me through that? To show that you're strong, to show that you're resisting, to show that you're keeping the foot on the gas, as Hakeem-Jeffries said. Look, I think Hakeem-Jeffries has a lot of potential politically, but he is not leading well here on this. You think that's putting your foot on the gas, the 25th Amendment?
Starting point is 00:27:49 You've been shutting down the government as putting your foot on a gas? You're stomping on the brakes. You're pulling the emergency brake and putting us into a spin at best. The 25th Amendment is a waste of time. So would be an impeachment when you can't remove. Fix America first. Trump is killing himself. Trump is on the way out.
Starting point is 00:28:17 He's losing the plot. Not you. Fix America first. I want to fight the health care guys. I want to fight for workers. It can't be all about the investment class. It can't be that the stock price is going like this and productivity is going like this
Starting point is 00:28:34 and wages are going like this. It's not the right balance. It's a choice structure. That's the right fight. And look, if you've got better ideas, great. Let's the best ideas win. But it's not about him thinking he's genius. Jesus.
Starting point is 00:28:53 He's always thought that. He was just more obvious and ugly about it this time. And if you don't like it, fine, but he's not on the ballot anymore. And the more you talk about him and trying to make it about him, you are forcing people who could be your allies to keep distance. You are empowering him the way he is empowering the regime. Because you're fighting him on his turns. You're fighting him on his terms.
Starting point is 00:29:19 You're fighting a war of words with the regime. That's them. I know we think it's Trump. But now he's actually in the mud with a real pig. The regime is a bunch of pigs. They're dirty, filthy, lying, cheating, murderous people. And keep your facts straight. You also lost the plot with that 42,000 killed thing.
Starting point is 00:29:45 I don't think that's true. And it doesn't mean I'm pro-regime. I think they arrested tens of thousands of people. I don't think that we have proof that there were tens of... It's hard to hide images of 10,000 dead, let alone 40,000 dead. And I just saw, I just did some research, and the only real human rights watch group that has great access in Iran says that, oh, no, no, no, we said they arrested 42,000, not they killed.
Starting point is 00:30:13 It matters. Why? I see it the same as the 34 felonies play tactically, which is Trump didn't commit 34 felonies. He committed one big-ass felony, which was what, lying about why he was paying off women. And all of the, what's the 34? They're all different checks and different transactions in furtherance of that crime. It's not the same thing as 34 felonies.
Starting point is 00:30:38 We both know that. 42,000 dead is not the same as some dead and a lot arrested, most arrested. That's not the same thing. And you don't need to lie about it. The truth is enough. The truth is enough. Trump paid off women that he was fucking to hide them. from the campaign. By the way, do I think that's a crime? No, that's not a case that I would have thought
Starting point is 00:31:02 should be brought against Trump. I think there were way better ones that would have been focused on. Yeah, but he did it. I believe in prosecutorial discretion. I believe that these things are such a distraction that they better be worth it for us. And I don't know that that was. But I'm telling you, Trump has lost the plot. He's becoming the bad guy to the world. And he's doing that in a contest a universally recognized bad guy in the world. He is elevating the Iranian regime. Do you know how hard that is? Do you know how screwed up you have to be? He's lost the plot. He went there for the wrong reasons, did it the wrong way, explained it the wrong way, and now can't find a way out of it, so he's trying to distance himself from it by having J.D. Vance and others do it, and that is not his
Starting point is 00:31:54 play to make and have you accept. That is unacceptable. You send a guy with no experience who's against being there, who didn't want to do this, who wants to show that doing this is a mistake and you think he's going to cut the best deal? When the best thing for him is the worst deal,
Starting point is 00:32:21 the best thing for J.D. Vance is for this to end in being a disaster a fiasco so that he can campaign on how he was against it. He was tough enough to tell that to Trump and to everybody even at the time. And now it'll never happen again. And look how terrible it was. That's where his interests lie. So you got a guy who wants money, a guy who wants to do the right thing maybe, but he doesn't know how,
Starting point is 00:32:48 and a guy who definitely doesn't want this to end well for his own political ambitions. And Trump's allowing all that instead of doing what he said he can only do himself and do best, What does I tell you? He's lost the plot, and he's trying to back away. Same thing at home. They just lie to you about energy prices. Hey, you know, oil's still cheaper now than it was under Biden. It's a fucking lie. Maria Bartaromo, allowing that to be said is a lie. And then NIAF, the National Italian American Foundation, gives her the Horatio Alger Award. Are we kidding? What the hell is going on here?
Starting point is 00:33:30 When are people going to start valuing right and wrong again, as opposed to just it's of one side over another and, you know, paying homage to people who are known as opposed to why they're known. Trump has lost the plot. There's opportunity in that for the many and for people who want to motivate their interests. It's not just that he looks like a jerk in the Jesus thing and the Iranian regime had a good zinger. He's elevated them now, which is crazy. They're despotic, terrible people. But it was over when he said he was going to leave them in place. That's it. They have no downside now. Oh, he's going to kill more of us. Whatever. They don't want to die. Right? I'm sure they want to stay in power. I'm sure they want to try to kill as many of us as they can.
Starting point is 00:34:23 But they don't see things the way we do. Okay? Trump was supposed to, but he lost the plot. And so now all he can do is lie, defy, and deny. The Trump three-step, I call it, the triple step. Everything at home is good. The prices are going in the right direction. The eggs are great. By the way, you know why egg prices were high, right? Wasn't Biden.
Starting point is 00:34:48 It was the bird flu. You know that, right? They had a unique supply situation with eggs. Egg prices are correlated to, but not a causative link with every other price. They had their own externality. They had their own factor putting pressure on their. them, which was a really rampant bird flu. Google it. I'm not making it up. It's easy to find.
Starting point is 00:35:10 It's not Trump. Trump didn't fix the bird flu. It ended. Okay? The severity of the impact ended. Other prices are going the wrong way. The wholesale inflation rate is up 4%. It's a great indicator of where mass pricing will go, which means up. And your purchasing power is going down. And borrowing costs are going to go up. and more and more of us are living on credit. For real things, not for like 10 on different t-shirts.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Healthcare costs. That's the war. That's the fight we all signed up for to have. And we're not having it. And that is an opportunity cost of the decision to focus on the war. Because we can't do two things at once. Support for the Chris Cuomo project comes from one skin. Look, if you're going to put it at a moment,
Starting point is 00:36:03 on your body, especially your face, know what's in it. Know the technology. And what's cool about One Skin is that they have a patent on a peptide that helps deal with the cells that give you the wrinkles and everything that makes us look old. Okay? And if you don't want your face to look like a catcher's mitt like mine, One Skin has products that will help you. And the editors have named One Skin, a leader in skin longevity with recognition from Fast Company, Mind, Body, Green, Bloomberg, and the Today Show, okay? It's also, you know, has a lot of A-listers and a lot of people who want to sign up with it and want to speak for it. So the key for me with One Skin is the research. It is born of over a decade of longevity research.
Starting point is 00:36:55 Their proprietary peptide is proven to target the visible. signs of aging, all right? And because you're hearing about them through me and you should tell them that, say Cuomo sent you when you go to OneSkin, use the code Cuomo and you go to OneSkin.com, O-N-S-K-I-N-D-C-I-N-K-O-S-K-N-E-S-K-E-S-C-I-N-E-W. And you will get 15% off. All right, the code is Cuomo, 15% off. Don't miss the Devil Wears Product too in theaters. Merrill Street, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blount, and Stanley Tucci are back. In light of the recent scandal, I'm here to restore your credibility. I did not hire you, and all I need to do is bide my time until you fail.
Starting point is 00:37:35 On May 1st, icons. I'm going to make something of this job. Rain. Be the bridges I burn. Night my way. Forever. I just love my job. Get tickets now. The devil wears Prada 2.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Indeed is May 1st. Directed by David Frankel. Anybody who tells you Congress could do two things at once, wants to do nothing. Because what they're doing is justifying doing something that we didn't want to. them to do. And goes, oh, well, you do two things at once. No, you can't. No, you can't. Apparently, you can't do anything because you think opposition is being strong and resistance. And now the left is doing it the same way the right used to. And I'll tell you where this kind of reductive battle to the bottom is going to take us. One of the two sides is going to get rid of the filibuster.
Starting point is 00:38:26 And then might as well be a mobocracy. I mean, look, I know it's a constipated process. I know it makes fewer things get done, but that's good when people want to do really extreme crazy shit. You've got to have something approaching consensus somewhere. And that right now, the bastion of that is in the Senate with the filibuster. You've got to be able to have many on something. It can't just be that the few keep swinging things back and forth, bank and forth. It gets us nowhere. You know, like, you've ever been in a kayak?
Starting point is 00:39:04 And you're like, oh, What happens? You're kind of like, more of that than this. Why? Smooth, balanced. One here, way, a little bit of progress. Progress.
Starting point is 00:39:21 Progress. Working together, something for me, something for you. Something for me, something for you. Something we actually agree on. Great, great, great, great. That's what we don't have. That's what we need. that's the opportunity.
Starting point is 00:39:38 And there's plenty to fight about. And there's plenty of outrage to tap into. Because that's great fuel for social media and for messaging in general. Trump has lost the plot. Everyone can see that now. It is harder and harder to justify supporting him. But don't rub people's faces in that.
Starting point is 00:39:59 Trump sucks, now admit it, is not what gets you to the opportunity that is just sitting there waiting, which is, we all know this is wrong and has to get better. We all know he's not focused on it because he's lost the plot. Let's do something better. That's the opportunity. That gets the majority. And the president doesn't even see it coming because he's lost the plot. And his party, some of them see it, some of them don't. They're still afraid of being primaried. They're a little complacent because they're
Starting point is 00:40:27 in power. And the Democrats aren't really pressuring them because they're not really galvanized and motivated on seeing this clearly. They're grabbing for low fruit all. also, 25th Amendment, impeach him. That's not what America wants. Not because Trump's not bad, doesn't do things worthy of that kind of scrutiny, but it just doesn't make anything better for them. You're not going to get rid of him.
Starting point is 00:40:49 So then why would you do something? Like that. To make a point? What point? You've impeached him twice. I say you don't become what you oppose. I say that you show you something better. Is that harder? Of course.
Starting point is 00:41:04 But what in life isn't? That's why this says I'm different. Not I want to be like everybody. else. Why? Because the way everybody wants to be is not always the best way. Be a free thinker. Be a critical thinker. Be a free agent. Be a critical thinker. Be a free agent. Be an independent.
Starting point is 00:41:22 Push for better. Don't get stuck in battling who and what is worse. It doesn't get you anywhere that you want to be. The president has lost the plot. That's why he's losing the war. That's why he's losing the peace. That's why he's losing the message. That's why he's losing the messaging because each and all is related to him having lost the plot.
Starting point is 00:41:46 The fight is at home. You want to degrade them, degrade them. You did it already. The war is over. There's no more upside for you that can come from this. The Strait of War moves is just a metaphor for the dilemma. They're blocking it. You're blocking it.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Some will be blocked. There's going to be money. There's no money. We'll get some of the money. When you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything. You are not guided by best. practices and principles here, just expediency and bullshit. That's what the regime does. You're now playing their game because you lost the plot. So see that and see the opportunity in it,
Starting point is 00:42:26 not to rub their faces in it. I know that may feel good for a moment, but it's not going to get you where you want to be. It's not going to get you where you want to be. See the opportunity. The president has lost the plot. And it's not because he put himself out there as Jesus, but because increasingly, it seems that he is. But let me tell you, only one man has ever died and rose again. And it ain't Donald Trump. He has lost the plot. See the opportunity.
Starting point is 00:43:03 Thank you very much for subscribing and following, my brothers and sisters, here at the Chris Cuomo Project. Check out the subscriber options. Just had a great, nice, small. I would have liked to refer it to maybe five times. size, no bigger than that, because there was an intimacy where people were actually able to talk over one another a little bit and still kind of be understood. There was flow. Dig it. Dig it. But remember your decorum. If you know someone is a frequenter within my world, do not target them
Starting point is 00:43:34 and go after them because you're going to lose, not them. Okay? Disagree with decency. Okay? You got, you want to say nasty shit? Say nothing. You got good shit to say, say it. Do not pick fights. That's not what this is about. This is about fixing, not fighting. We'll fight to fix, but we're not going to have gratuitous fights. We're not going to be what we oppose. No, not on my watch. Look for the subscriber model that works for you at YouTube. I'll be giving more and more access and putting out more and more content. I'm trying. I'm trying. I'll see it SXM, SiriusXM, channel 124 every morning. I'll see it News Nation every night. The swag is there. Be a critical thinker, man. Rose has got new stuff coming out for the summer. Okay? And, uh, you know,
Starting point is 00:44:19 these are her ideas. I'm a little worried because some of the stuff I feel like you're going to think I'm a creep because I want, I did short shorts for women. There's a rose's idea. She said, this is what people want to wear, this is what guys want to wear, this is what women want to wear. That's what we're trying to do is make it accessible to you, to wear your independence, to show your brand, right? Because messaging matters. It does. So we got to get on the same page, and this is how we do it. And I'm going to give the money away. What else you need? Thank you again for subscribing and following.
Starting point is 00:44:47 The challenges are real. My brothers and sisters, if we stay together and we stay focused, we'll get after it.
