Chris Cuomo argues that President Donald Trump may be heading toward a devastating midterm election — and some of his closest political allies could be responsible. As Americans struggle with rising prices, stagnant wages, and an affordability crisis, House Speaker Mike Johnson and White House National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett continue to defend the Trump administration’s economic record. But Cuomo argues that their messaging is increasingly disconnected from the reality facing American workers. Cuomo examines five major economic claims from the administration, challenges its arguments about inflation, wages, jobs, and energy prices, and explains why blaming former President Joe Biden may no longer be enough to convince voters. Hold music. Not what you want to hear when a pipe dispersed in your basement is flooding. That's why Intact Insurance answers 2 million claim calls per year within 20 seconds. So instead of hearing this lovely track, you'll hear this in seconds.
Hello, intact insurance. Two of the president's advisors just cost Trump the midterms.
I'm Chris Cuomo. Welcome to the Chris Cuomo project. Here's what I'm talking about. Affordability is real. That is
probably one of the biggest gaffes in modern political history is when President Trump said affordability is not a real thing.
All right. I've said that also about defund the police, but that wasn't said by someone in power.
That was said by a group that was seeking power, and it certainly hurt them during the BLM stuff.
Now, as we're living with ICE, we see it's not as simple.
What that is is a cry of desperation, right?
Defund ICE, now you have like over 50% of the American people are saying that ICE has to be destroyed.
And by destroyed, they mean what?
Changed, right?
That's really what defund the police was getting at, but that's politics.
How you say things, words matter, right?
So they didn't mean no police, not really, right?
But that's what it sounded like.
That's bad enough.
ICE, we're now seeing it again.
I mean, they're just like a goon squad too often.
They just grabbed another U.S. citizen and broke one of his bones.
And again, it was a U.S. citizen.
They had the wrong guy.
Okay?
So that's the problem.
there. So when Trump says there is no such thing as affordability, that is a major gaffe. And now we're
heading into the midterms and it's all about affordability. And I see the one two punch coming as
corruption and affordability. And where they meet is in how his cronies talk about things. Because
they are at once, they're saying things that are so untrue that it speaks to
to not just political perfidy, not just party first, but something corrupt.
And what we just saw from the director of the National Economic Council,
which is like your head economist and a presidential administration,
and the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson.
Now, those of you say I target Johnson.
Well, he is the Speaker of the House, but he has given me special reason to go after him.
Why?
Because he made himself better than the rest of us.
I rule by the good book. I lead with my faith. Well, he is either a really shitty Christian or he's a liar. Okay, he's one of those two things. Maybe both. No, I'm not judging him as a person of faith. It's not necessary. It's gratuitous. But when you say that you're going to rule by the good book and then you are like the same or worse than other people in your position in terms of dishonesty, then I come after you more. Why? Because you're a hypocrite.
on top of what you are doing.
But what we just saw from Kevin Hassett and from Speaker Mike Johnson easily could be what we look back on,
on what lost the midterms for MAGA.
Okay?
And here's why, all right?
We just got new information in from Polly Market about how people are betting on where
we're going to go economically, all right?
And right now, there is an interesting spread going on with the Fed decision.
Now, remember, what the Fed does is a really good kind of nonpartisan feel for directionally
where the economy is.
If they're raising rates, they're worried about inflation, okay?
If they're leaving them alone, they're not as worried.
If they're dropping their rates, obviously, they are not worried about inflation.
So now there had been up until midway through the month here, which is barely where we are in October, this feeling that they could raise them, they could leave them the same because they had just raised them, even though this guy was just put in power there supposedly to do whatever Trump wants.
And the first thing he did was not what Trump wants.
And it would be great if for a change somebody was playing Trump instead of playing us by saying that they'll be about us when they're really going to be about Trump.
and they get put into a position of power, power that comes from us.
However, now there is 85% of 85 cents on every dollar that someone is betting
is that it's going to be no change, which is some kind of sign of like they're going to leave it alone for now.
I think if they leave it alone for now, it's going to be because of the political pressure
and not wanting to screw anymore with the midterms.
And, you know, leaving it unchanged is their easiest way to do that.
So that's probably a safe money bet, although I have to tell you, I would definitely put money on a 25 basis point increase.
Not 50.
Why?
It's too much.
But I think they should have done 50 the first time, I think.
What do I know?
Reading experts, they expected, if you increase it, you're going to do it 50 because that's what it needs at a minimum, according to them.
And him doing 25 was seen as an accommodation and weak, and they're going to have to raise it.
it again, but I don't think they're going to raise it before it. But what does it tell us? The economy is in
trouble. Inflation is an issue, right? Because no change means, well, if inflation was gone,
if it had been stamped out the way you're hearing from Trump's guys, then you would have a very
different action from the Fed than you're going to see, right? Looking at the job numbers,
they're expecting to be very underwhelmed by the job numbers. Why? Because the economy is not expanding.
This is where people are putting their money as an opinion, okay, as opposed to just saying something on social media.
The unemployment rate.
Now, people see that saying about the same.
Why?
Because it's not that people can't find a job.
It's that jobs can't find people.
Why?
Because you chased out a lot of low-end labor, right, with what's happening with the immigration enforcement.
And people aren't expanding.
They're not hiring.
They're not doing things like that.
So the unemployment level is going to probably stay about where it is.
And that's where most people expect it to be.
They expect that, you know, it's not going to be any higher than 4.4%.
It had been in the threes.
And you could say, well, it's ticking up.
Okay.
But until you get into the fives with unemployment,
your problem isn't that people can't find jobs, that they're out of work.
You know, you have almost as many people have stopped participating in labor.
And that's tricky.
You know, that goes to your retirees, but also people who've given up on the job market.
Then that can be played either way.
Politically, that can be played as people who are on the dole, they're on the tit,
or it's that they've just quit because the system is just too tough and squeezing too many people out.
You know, that's an interesting play there for Polly Market.
And we'll see how those all factor in to what I am going to lay out for you today,
which is that his two main guys may have just submarineed him.
and shown exactly why he's going to lose.
Why?
Because you ever hear the expression,
don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining?
That's exactly what they're doing about the economy,
is that in true MAGA fashion,
they are just going bigger and bigger about how good things are.
The more data comes out to present that they have a problem that they created,
the more they're saying they didn't create it,
and doubling down on how good things they are.
And what we're seeing is that that plays not just as bad economics, but as corruption. Why? Because you are corrupt two different ways. One is you're taking money for stuff with power that I gave to you. And Trump is doing that in spades. Okay. Another way that you are corrupt is that you are abusing the power I gave you by lying to me about it. And there's something corrupt about that also. It's not the same thing as you enriching yourself. But it is you.
taking advantage of what you are given? See what I'm saying? It's a little bit more subtle,
but I think the two things go together. And I think that it is going to be the one-to-punch for Democrats
that knock MAGA out of a position of control of both houses of Congress. So here's what they said.
Here's the ammo for my argument here, okay? Wages are rising exponentially. Now, the first thing you need to know
about this is anytime people tell you that wages are up or consumer spending is up, say, where?
Where? Because here's what the answer is. Wages are up higher, higher, on the higher side,
not for the many, for the few, for the top. There are some pockets of where they're coming up.
But for everyone else, it's pretty incrementally flat down. Who's spending more? The top. Who's
carrying the spending, the top. The question is not whether or not you see signs of economic activity.
It's by whom, right? Because the whole problem here is that the inequality, the imbalance, the disconnect
between the few and the many is more than it's ever been. It's larger. It's greater. It's worse.
You know, however you want to qualify it, depicted, it is a problem that has gotten worse that must be
addressed and it is systemic. Okay. So,
Hacet says a $2,000 increase in inflation-adjusted average wages, okay?
According to the BLS, okay, everything I'm going to give you is countered by a government
agency. I'm doing this for two reasons. One, I believe in our institutions. And we have to stop
bashing them because of the bad activity of people in and around them, okay? The institutions,
themselves work and make sense, but you have to make sure that they're the right people doing
things the right way. And I don't like people taking the convenience of bashing our institutions
as a way of helping themselves look not as bad as they are, because they're hoping that you'll
just compare them to the alternative instead of any kind of standard. And so they bash institutions.
And why? Because it makes that the problem, when really it's they who are the problem. Okay.
So the BLS says real average hourly earnings actually declined by 0.5% in September and fell 0.7% year over year. Now, is that a big deal? No. You could look at it as statistically just about flat. It's less than half of a percent. But when ingested for the current inflation, the average worker is experiencing a loss in purchasing power. Not a boom. So then why would he say that? One, because he's a fucking liar. Two, because he's saying it by over.
waiting what's happening on the top. Okay. And that is very demeaning to people's situations.
And they're going to see it. They're going to the polls. They're like, I'm not making more money.
Who is he talking about? He's obviously not talking about me or he's lying to me. And that is really
powerful medicine to motivate people to vote. And remember, this isn't a preference election.
It's a participation election. What's a difference?
nominally you could say it's a preference election because you're going to choose one side or the other in a binary system that you're forced into.
But what I mean in this is that when it comes to politics campaigning, a preference election is here's my plan, here's his plan.
Here's my focus.
Here's her focus.
Which one are you going to pick?
And that's not what this is.
This is a participation election, which is I hate you, you hate me.
Now let's see whom more people who believe in our hatred come out to vote.
So this is about getting the MAGA base out.
That's why they're playing to culture wars
because you're never going to get them out on economics.
You're just going to get out the economic message that you want out,
which is a lie and hope that they suck it up like everything else you have.
But I think that this kind of message is so wrong for even his own base
that it may keep him home.
Hold music.

Hello, intact insurance. Election season comes with a lot of noise. Polls, predictions, forecasts,
analysis, all over the place. It can be hard to keep up with everything. That's why I love
Polymarket. I just love what it's about. Why? It's easy. And it's people putting their money
where their mouth is, which is such a commodity for me when it comes to political opinion and
analysis. You know, this is the easy way for you to know what people think is going to happen.
And now you can trade on your own predictions or just follow the odds for control of Congress,
individual races, and other midterm outcomes. Polymarket also just launched a new midterm hub
that puts everything you want in one place. You can follow specific.
states, candidates, policies, races, without having to jump around everywhere. It's easy and it's
effective. So there's a lot on the line this election and I'll definitely be following along with
Polymarket and you should too. Download the Polymarket app to stay on top of the midterms.

Who's that? No, no, no. It's not a who. It's a what. You think you're overpaying for car insurance?
Let me tell you something. I thought I was overpaying for car insurance, but I kept it that way
because I was worried. Renewal after renewal, the price never seemed to go down. And I tell myself,
I should compare, I should do this, but I didn't want to mess with it.
I didn't want to put myself in a worse position.
Then a friend told me he switched his car insurance in just a few minutes using an app called Jerry,
and he actually saved money.
So I downloaded Jerry and tried it for myself.

Claim number two.
Inflation is under control and dead.
Now, the first indication of why this is so bad is, again, people know it's not true.
And one of the main arrows in the quiver on this one, which is a bent arrow at best, is it's Biden's fault.
Now, I'll get into that more.
But you don't get two years in to blame the last administration.
That's never worked to stave off a midterm problem.
Okay?
Now, both Hassett and Johnson have repeatedly dismissed inflation concerns,
arguing that the core policies of the Trump administration have subdued inflation.
Now, that is a complete lie, and you're going to know it.
And if you're MAGA and you know it, it's probably going to keep you home.
And if you're not MAGA and you know it, it's probably going to get you out because, like,
these guys got to be punished for lying to my face because they think I won't do anything about it.
And that can be very powerful in politics.
So the CPI, the consumer price index, right?
Annual inflation accelerated in the last month, okay, with core inflation ticking up.
Now, look, there are all these different inflation numbers, all right?
But the whole point is directional, all right?
Is it up or down?
It's not dead.
It's accelerating, okay?
And it's putting continued pressure of purchase.
power in households. Yes, we talk about gas, but it's not just gas. Okay? And remember, gas takes on a whole new shape in the cold months in most of this country.
Because when the midterms come, people are going to get their first fuel bills. I'm about to get mine in two weeks. And let me tell you something. I'm going to see that it's much more than it was a year ago this time. Why? Because of the fuel prices. And it's going to be significant. All right? It's
It's going to be like hundreds and hundreds of dollars more.
Okay?
So I'm going to realize it, and I may vote on it if you're lying to me about it at the same time.
See what I'm saying?
Okay.
So the reality is that inflation is up, and we're going to be feeling it.
The third claim is that the economy is in a roaring jobs boom.
Administration statements continue to praise a robust blue-collar and macroeconomy.
surge, okay, arguing that manufacturing has come back and that domestic jobs are surging.
That's why I read you the unemployment number, okay? Because underemployment is the real problem,
is that people are working more hours for less pay and sometimes multiple jobs. And, you know,
you want to do a MAGA analysis, a great again, I am not into the reductive nature of that
proposition because I don't think America was ever more free or more fair than it is today,
except when you look at the macroeconomic suggestion of what the system
preferenced. If you go back to the 60s, before the 70s, when they took us off the
gold standard, and then there were these decisions made that preferenced businesses over
labor and helped transition us into an investor economy in terms of how you measured your
productivity and success versus how your workers were doing. Okay? The stock price became
everything. And a lot of that was as a function of suggestion and preferences. The main
that I think is offensive to the norm is that you get a lower tax rate as a corporation for what?
Because you give jobs to a lot of people and there's a benefit to that. But if your pay to those
workers is such that they are forced to struggle like it was in the early 1900s when Teddy Roosevelt
came in and said that there had to be regulation and breaking up monopolies and having corporations
do something more than fill their own pockets. And it worked for like 50 years. Why do we give you
that preference. Why do you get a lower tax rate if you have a disproportionate number of your workers
who need government assistance? Why would I give you a preference when I then have to pay to help your people?
Because the powerful said so, not because capitalism. It's a choice. It's not a structure. It's a choice within that structure.
It's still capitalism. If your tax rate is not 25%, it's 50%. It's just a different choice. Okay? So that's what we need to go back to.
all right again i'm very slow on regressive analysis because i don't want to go backwards because
in american history every time you go backwards somebody lost freedoms you don't i mean but in terms of
the economic realities of how the system was set up if you want to make america great again you
got to go back to rebuilding and emphasizing work and workers okay and you know when we say workers
middle class you know it sounds like i'm talking about people who are wearing like blue overalls
and going into a coal mine.
I respect our artisans very much.
I see them as entrepreneurs more than as simple as laborers.
You know, they may employ laborers,
but artisans are people who know how to do things,
fix things, make things, build things, repair things.
Very important.
And they are a hybrid of art and ability.
Okay?
So I have a lot of respect for this.
them. And we have undervalued them in our schools. We've undervalued them in our economy. We've
undervalued them in our culture. However, I'm talking about the many of us. I'm talking about professionals,
as we say, doctors, lawyers, this and that. I'm talking about artisans. I'm talking about
bureaucrats. I'm talking about IT people. I'm talking about all of us that are below the C-suite
level because the corporations have really become exclusively consumed with their stock price and
their investors and the few versus the many so that what they're really selling you with
the Trump administration is, you know, invest in the stock market and then you'll be getting
the benefits of a system that designed to screw you on one end but make you, but now you've got
a chance to be like the people that had set up the benefit. I don't think it works. Now,
And that's why the economy is not in a jobs boom.
All right.
The reality is the headline labor market indicators show severe stagnation.
The U.S. economy added a meager 29,000 jobs in September.
Yes, they ingest those numbers all the time.
There are good and bad reasons for that.
But remember this.
The Trump administration reduced the people who do the analysis.
So they come out slower now and they're less accurate.
By design.
By design.
Why?
Because he wants to undermine the confidence in them.
Wow.
Pretty clever, right?
For people we think are kind of stupid, that was pretty clever.
All right.
We had had net job losses for several months here, but now, you know, the numbers are anemic, right?
So is the unemployment rate going to stay at 4.2 or is it going to go up?
I mean, people are betting it's going to go up to 4.4 or so, and I think that's probably a safe bet if you're putting your money where your mouth is.
But the unemployment isn't the problem.
It's underemployment.
is that the people who are working aren't making as much as they were in terms of their purchasing power,
and they're having to work more.
Again, you used to have one 40-hour-a-week job could get you a house and raise a family.
Now you have two, often 60-hour a week, multiple jobs or side gigs, right?
Gig economy, right?
And they can't afford a house.
Something has to change.
And it's not, oh, that's socialism.
No, socialism is Trump giving you a $5,000 check with my money.
Okay?
Now, and I'll get to where he said that $5,000 is coming from, which is not only a lie,
but is also part of the problem, which is the tariffs.
So, claim four, disapproval is purely partisan, not driven by affordability.
Hacid and Johnson, minimized poor economic polling numbers, about two out of three of us,
say, our prices are too high and it's your fault because you're in charge.
And by the way, not only are you in charge,
but you definitely did things that made this happen,
the tariffs and the war.
Done, okay?
Claiming that public dissatisfaction
is a puzzle driven by partisan bias
rather than financial reality.
So if you're not happy about the economy,
you just hate Trump.
Come on.
So cheap.
See, this is the kind of thing
that I think makes you get out and vote.
Like, wait, what did you just say about me?
What did you just say about what I think?
You know, people don't like you to piss on their leg
and tell you it's raining.
They don't like it.
American voters don't like to be played as weak or stupid, okay?
Nonpartisan consumer indicators and polling data show widespread concern over affordability.
37% of respondents specifically cite inflation as their single top vulnerability,
driven entirely by borrowing costs and basic affordability crises.
Credit card debt is at a recent high, okay?
Why? Because people are putting more and more things on their credit card that they should not be.
Because they have to. Right? Remember what Trump said last Christmas? Don't buy so many toys.
Wow.
Hold music. Not what you want to hear when a pipe dispersed in your basement is flooding.
That's why intact insurance answers 2 million claim calls per year within 20 seconds.

Hello, intact insurance.
Claim five, administration policies are lowering energy costs. See, this is the one I think. Why didn't I start with it if I think this? Because this is like after you've gotten all this food for thought. Now, can you imagine saying this? And then the proposition is whether or not this is going to make somebody vote for you or against you and motivate them to do that? Speaker Johnson and different administration officials, but him notably, deflected responsibility for high fuel costs, asserting the external factors or
entirely to blame. Domestic policy implementations have absolutely compounded the issue, okay?
Why? The tariff updates. All right? That savaged the domestic supply chain. The war
domestically crushed diesel, even though we are the number refiner, number one refiner of diesel
in the world. Not Russia. Why are you doing this deal with Russia? Not only is it going to be
meaningless to us in terms of changing our diesel prices in any real way for any real duration,
but you're helping the bad guy in the middle of a war. At a minimum, that's not going to make
you come out and vote for Trump. That's the problem with this deal. Now, again, October 19th,
2026, Kevin Hassett says, we have positive supply shock. What does that mean? It means that we have so much
stuff. We're doing so well that, you know, that's why we've seen a little bit of changes in our
economic indicators. I mean, it's really just word salad, okay? Real wage growth, three to four thousand
dollars more, the big beautiful bill, three to four thousand dollars more. That is true selectively,
for some, not the many. And it's not the people who needed the help with the increase, okay?
The public is euphoric and spending happily.
No, only the top is.
And again, I think it's insulting.
I don't think people like to hear you intentionally making things sound good when you know it isn't.
Instead of dealing with the fact that they made them bad and they're not doing anything about it.
Again, Mike Johnson may have cost Trump the midterms by sending the House home for over a month before the election.
hiding at best, an F you, a middle finger from his little Bible-loving self, right in your face.
And these are all very, very real things.
Now, another part of this explanation that I think is going to hurt is the Blaine Biden, all right?
Blaine Biden doesn't work, okay?
At the end of the first Trump administration, he says, the inflation rate was just one
Joe Biden came in and reversed the policies and brought us to a 40-year high of 9.1 inflation.
This is an insulting thing to anybody who was alive during the pandemic. The reason inflation was so low at the end of the Trump term was because of what? The pandemic had crushed the global markets. So you had a, you know, just a complete depression of demand.
travel, right, and pricing. That's why it went down. So then as it started to,
um, to kind of heal, right, from the pandemic, just to keep it medically consistent in my jargon,
you know, when it started to recover, everything popped. Everything popped. And that was on Biden's
watch. I'm not saying he was perfect. Of course he's imperfect. He made a lot of mistakes. He cost
himself the election with his own decision to run again.
submarineing his party's process, putting in an inferior candidate who didn't even make it out of Iowa when she ran for president.
And his immigration policies that he put her in charge of, as the czar, were another big weakness.
I mean, he definitely made major mistakes.
So they're trying to tell you that the reason inflation was high or is high now is because Biden sucked,
as opposed to it being a global phenomenon that was a part of the pandemic
and that the resurgence wound up spiking everything
because people were desperately trying to reclaim what they had lost
on the sell side, you know, on the business side.
Hold music. Not what you want to hear when a pipe dispersed in your basement is flooding.
That's why Intact Insurance answers 2 million claim calls per year within 20 seconds.

Hello, Intact Insurance.
Here's what I think might really get stuck in people's craw.
So they don't give Biden the benefit of that shift in time, right?
That things take time.
We're trying to recover here, right?
You're going to have problems economically when you're trying to recover when you're coming out of a big hole, right?
Even if you didn't continue to dig, it's still a hole until you fill it all the way up, right?
So now that Republicans have unified control of the White House and Congress, you still have John
in saying that you need patience.
So now you need patience, right?
They had no patience during Biden,
even though he was recovering from a pandemic
that was absolutely exacerbated,
made worse by President Trump's mishandling of it.
Okay?
So he doesn't get credit for that.
He doesn't get any time, right?
But now they're saying, you need patience.
You don't flip a switch,
and it's all just fixed magically.
Here's the problem.
They did flip a switch.
One, you're being unfair to Biden, which shows me that you're a hypocrite and you're a double talker, Mr. Bible.
Second, you did flip a switch tariffs. You did flip a switch, the war in Iran.
you did this, you made this happen, you made it worse, and that's the truth.
And I think that people are going to see this.
They're going to see Kevin Hassett saying, man, you're making so much more money now.
You should be happy.
He's pissing on your leg and telling you it's raining.
He's actually telling you that he's pissing on your leg and he's telling you that's like
the burn off of an amazing rainbow, right?
It's even worse.
And Mike Johnson following this up by blaming it all on Biden when it doesn't make sense.
and pretending that what they did with tariffs
and the big beautiful bill,
and remember, they backloaded
things in that bill,
cuts to Medicare, cuts to food stamps
that are going to be coming due next year.
And it's going to make it even harder
for people at the bottom.
So the policies are once again
going to exacerbate problems
with gas, groceries, cost of living.
So you take what they have done
and you take what they've refused
to do, which is what? Don't you remember Trump saying, I'm going to call on the health care
pigs? Don't you remember Trump saying I'm going to cap interest rates on the credit cards? He did neither
of those things. Why? Because they went to Mike Johnson and said, don't you do that or were you going
to lose all our money and support? And he told Trump not to do it and Trump didn't. You remember
when Trump said he believed in the dreamers and he was going to take care of them because everybody
loves the dreamers? And he was going to do it as a solo thing? He didn't. Why? Because Mike
Johnson went in there. Actually, that was even before Johnson, but the Republicans went in there
and said, don't do it. We need the leverage on the dreamers. Don't give that to them by as a standalone.
We won't get anything in return. So it was their actions and their inactions that set them up for a
real beatdown in the midterms. And Trump can say, oh, Democrats, you can thank Mike Johnson.
You can thank Kevin Hassett and Scott Besant. Now, they're only doing what you're telling them to do,
which is the lie to the American people about the economic reality. But you can't lie to people
about their own lives.
You can't.
You can lie to them about what's happening in a place they don't know and they maybe never even
heard of, certainly never visited.
You can lie to them about other groups of people, right?
You can do that.
You can create a boogeyman, but you're not going to make them the enemy of themselves.
You're not going to do that.
And that's exactly what they're trying to do.
And I think it's going to blow up right in their faces.
What do you think?
Well, that's why I do this.
I want to give you some food for thought, and then you tell me, I believe that this is going to be the one-two punch of the midterms.
Affordability and corruption.
And I'll spell out the corruption for you next time in terms of what I think the big-ticket items are.
But that's harder to access in your everyday life.
You're not going to feel their corruption the same way that you're going to feel the economic decisions for obvious reasons.
but I do believe that they go together as a, you know, the jab would be the corruption, right?
Because the real, well, you guys are all right-handed, right?
So the jab is the corruption, which is, God, they're just trading on themselves.
But the real cross of the affordability crisis, I think it's the one two punch that knocks them out in the midterms, certainly from the house.
And the reason for that is these people are lying to your face about what you know.
know to be true. And that is a real poison pill in politics. It's a very, it really is the third
rail of you do not tell people that they're wrong about their problems. And that's what Hacet and
Bessent and Johnson are doing. And why they're doing it is they're betting that the MAGA base
will yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, the BS and come out and vote for them anyway. I think at a
minimum it's going to depress their turnout. Will it increase the Democrat turnout? I believe so. What do you
think? Thank you for subscribing and following. Thank you for subscribing and following to Cuomo Crime Time,
where I take the big cases and talk about why they matter in society. You know, Lindsay Clancy to me,
wasn't about the stupid narrative that made all that people money on social media that her husband did it,
but it was how do we see mental illness? What does it mean in our society? The Cornell scandal.
It's not to me about,
oh, can you believe these kids are doing this?
It's about how institutions protect themselves.
It's about due process.
See, that's how I do it.
So I'm glad it's doing well.
Thank you for subscribing and following there and here.
I appreciate it very much.
And thank you for wearing your independence.
Thank you for buying the merch.
Rose came up with some good ones for Halloween.
You maga me scared.
And I'm only scared of your politics.
Ways to kind of play with letting people know,
I'm not another mouth breather, okay?
I think for myself.
I'm a critical thinker.
I'm different.
I'm a free agent.
So thank you.
We give the money away.
You can feel good about being part of that.
And it's just another proof of premise, which is we got to get back to being or we got
to emphasize being a critical thinker and wanting to know things and being open to different
ideas, not being a pack animal.
It doesn't work.
This binary system is killing us, all right?
And I've believed it for a long time and it's only gotten more.
true. So the challenges are real. My brothers and sisters, let's get after.
