Are you also trying to find out how it interacts with people's DNA, what's predisposed, to, to have an autistic child? Are you doing both? Yeah, but Dana, you probably don't understand this because you're not a scientist, But genes don't cause.

Genes don't cause epa. I understand. Genes epidemic. A gene provides an environmental. That's what I'm asking. Are you studying the environmental exposure? We're looking at all the different environmental exposures. But your statement, you have been fooled.

Your statement that this has been studied is not true. It's categorical. Uh. Look, this clip that's gone viral, this interview that's gone viral, with Danabash, whom I respect, and Secretary Kennedy, is just proof of the problem. Okay? You can do it with vaccines. You can do it with COVID.

You can do it with the war. You can do it with elections. You can do it with economy. And in fact, we're doing it with all of those things. Okay. If you want to be honest about what this is really about, all of these conversations are being processed the same way for the same reason and either you deal with it or you wind up like Dana in that interview or you wind up like many of you at home, frustrated, seeming to get nowhere,

seeming like the facts don't matter. That's because they don't. And if you want to win and if you want to move the needle and if you want to be effective, you have to understand what's going on. And I'm here to tell you. I'm Chris Cuomo. Welcome to the Chris Cuomo project. Again, look, you can run with this and clip it up and say that I go after ex-CNN colleague. That's not what I'm doing. Okay? Dana is good at what she does. I believe she's better on the Sunday show than Jake Tapper ever was for CNN. I don't even know why they split it. She should do it. Why? Because there's an authenticity to her. You know where she's coming from. It doesn't seem like she's trying to please any. body or pose or anything like that. However, however, the game of gotcha, the using a fact and thinking that that's somehow going to illustrate or expose, it doesn't work anymore. Because it's not about the facts. I'm not saying facts don't matter. Of course they do. They have to. But whether it was about the vaccine, right? That's what first went on. I don't know

why they even sent me this clip about the autism thing. That's not the big kerfuffle. The big kerfuffle is about the COVID vaccines. And Bobby says, you show me, and look, I get that his voice is hard, okay? It's the least of the problem in terms of understanding his positions, okay? The vaccine worked. The vaccine helped, okay? Did it help some more than others? Did it help? Did it help? sooner more than later. Yes, yes, they know all of these things. But that's not what it's about. Okay? You have people who are invested in that whatever happened during COVID was wrong. It was intentional to hurt. It was overreach. It was deep state. It was Fauci. I mean, think about how crazy it is to try to pin everything that happened on in COVID during the pandemic.

on an 80-year-old man who's an unelected official who was foisted into the position of messaging to America by President Trump and kept there by President Biden. I told Tony Fauci that this was dangerous and that him being in this position was risky. Now, do the diaries expose that Tony loved the adulation, that he loved the fame, that he loved after a lifetime of work, being a big shot, and everybody listening to him. Yeah, and that's what a diary is for. And you don't expect people to read your diary. And Tony's only human. And he's a guy who came from nothing and worked his way up.

And he's living the dream of getting attention for what he's all about. And I'm sure in a lot of ways, it was an absolute star-turn moment that he felt deeply personally and just loved. I get it. So does that mean that he's full of shit and everything he said No. Look, here's the big problem that this COVID situation kind of highlights. When Anthony Fauci said, you don't need masks, why was that? Because he wanted to lie because he wanted to get it wrong, because he's stupid. Or it's because science is in politics. Politics is, here's what I believe,

I'll always believe it. Even if the facts change, I'm really not going to change my position because then it's seen his weakness and I'll never apologize for anything because you'll just kill me with it. That's politics. That's a binary balance. to the bottom that is zero sum, where it's me versus you. And I can't be wrong and I can't accommodate and I can't change. That's politics. That's the opposite of science. Science is we think this COVID-19 virus is transmitted by touch. That's why you got to wash all your vegetables. Remember the videos on how to wash your vegetables? That's why he said you don't need masks. Because it wasn't about breathing it in. It was about touching it and touching your face. It was about wash your hands,

wash your fruit, wash your everything, right? Then what happened? They got different data. Now, by the way, the idea that Tony Fauci created COVID-19 or America or some offshoot, don't you think he would know how it was transmitted if he had something to do with creating it? Anyway, putting that bullshit to the side for a second. Because I think it's complete bullshit that they're going after Tony Fauci for this stuff. It's a complete demonstration of what I'm talking about. Do you think America created COVID-19? Do you think COVID paid for research that led to eco-health or whatever they're called creating COVID-19? Bobby Kennedy wants to talk about studies.

He loves to bash the vaccine as much as he can. Ask him for the proof that any of the research that was funded as gain of function or whatever you want to call it, under Tony Fauci's watch, even though it comes from like 10 different agencies and, and ultimately the presidential administration should be responsible. But if you want to put it on, Tony, it's fine. Ask them for proof that whatever he funded led to the development of the virus that made us sick. Ask him for the proof. He will show you none. Here's what they'll say, because it's not about the truth.

It's about making one side look bad. Now, why does one side own Tony Fauci when both sides used them? I don't know. I don't know. He worked for Republican and Democratic administration. He was installed by both. He was elevated by both. I don't know. Trump put him in a position he'd never been in before. You never heard of Tony Fauci. He did landmark research and policy augmentation and development on AIDS. He changed the reality for people who have AIDS. You never really heard any of that. Now you don't give a shit. Why? Because he's perceived as an enemy. Think about that. AIDS was a death sentence. People live with it for decades now, in large part because of the work he did. did. Still a piece of shit, though, right? Why? Because that's the nature of it. You got to see what John Pavlovitz puts out about this. P-A-V-L-O-P-A-V-O-V-I-T-Z, Pavlovitz. And he's got it right.

It's not about right and wrong. It's not about right and left. It's about good and evil for these factions. It's not about reasoning with. It's not about understanding. It's not about empathy. It's not about accommodation. It's not about cooperation. It's not about any of those things because people aren't rational actors. It's like negotiating with a drunk person who wants to stay in the bar. It's about trying to save a drowning person who's going to clutch your neck and drag you both down. It is about an irrational attachment to a perspective. It is more akin to a morality gap than it is an ethical or an intellectual gap. People are just choosing that certain things are good, bad, right, wrong. And this is really a distinction of a quality and characteristic of MAGA.

They have the worst case of this virus, and they ain't no vaccine for it. Certainly not truth. Isn't a proval axis for it. So what do you see with the vaccine? Well, we had the most dead people, even looking at another, so obviously it didn't work. First of all, that's bullshit because they use the vaccine also. So why did they have better results than we did if they were all using the vaccine? Because we're fat, because we have diabetes, because we have bad food, because we don't take care of ourselves, because we have shitty health care. That's why all of those things come into play. That's why we didn't do as well, not because of the vaccine. They're using our vaccine. What are you talking about? It doesn't even make sense. Yeah, but the vaccine didn't help, it hurt more people that it helped. Ask for proof of that.

Were they going to give you veers, untested allegations? Well, they often come from clinicians. Yeah, as an observation, not as something they know, something they think. You see, it's not about the facts. When she says, when he says, you show me a study that says that the vaccine helped more kids than it hurt. Bobby knows that every study shows that especially early on when the vaccine was working best. Because, look, the later iterations of the vaccine were not as effective as the initial. And the later variants of the virus were not as tough and in need of vaccination for kids, let's say, and healthy people as the earlier ones were.

And he knows this. And the idea that, okay, well, show me the data that it's so bad. You know what he's going to show you? He's going to show you research that suggests that not as many kids needed to be vaccinated as the virus changed and as time went on. And that the risks early on are really isolated to young males and for one potential exposure, which is myocarditis, which is inflammation of the heart. And for young males, it was somewhere between 30 and 100 cases per million, like 1 and 30,000. For girls, it was a fraction of that. And overwhelmingly, the number of cases of those kids who wound up getting myocarditis were mild and they were self-resolved. Now, did some kids get bad cases?

Did some kids get horrible? Yes. Very, very, very few. compared to the number of kids that had lesser symptoms or didn't get sick and didn't have any complications from COVID. It's not even a close call. So then what are we talking about? We're not talking about the facts because it's not about the facts anymore. You're not going to convince somebody who supports Trump to go bad on Trump because you're asking them to negate an identity. Okay? You got a better chance of telling them to change gender.

than you do of to change their position. And look, they'll hem and haw and they'll say, well, look, I'm not saying I like everything he says. I'm not saying I like his style. But it's not what it is. They can't side with you. They can't. Support for the Chris Cuomo project comes from Quince.

Here is the good news. We're also having the wrong conversation. Look, Dana has to talk to Secretary Kennedy. He's got too much power. He's part of a presidential administration. You've got to pay attention to him. I know that there are people out there who will say you shouldn't have him on. you shouldn't platform him. Look, I don't believe in censorship. Okay. And you can say, well, neither do I. Well, then don't say don't platform them because that is censorship. You're just using a different word for whatever reason. But how you test them is good. And you can say, look, do you think Dana did a good job testing? If you voted for Trump, you'll say no. If you didn't vote for Trump, you'll say yes. You see, that's my point. Now, I think the people who didn't vote for Trump who say yes, she did are closer to the truth. But no, she didn't make any ground.

on Bobby? Why? Well, one, he knows this stuff much better than she does. And that's not to insult Dana Bash. Why? It's because she's a generalist, and this is what he does. He spent years working on this. He wrote a book about it. He's cherry picking data all the time. He wants there to be a connection between vaccines and autism. He wants that. He wants that to be true. Why? He'll give you his own reasons. Or he'll say, no, that's not true. I just want the truth. I don't think that's true. I think he knows the truth. There has never been an established connection. Yeah, it's because they haven't done the research the right way.

Okay, well. So that means that the community of people that live to get research grants to research things have just never bothered to do this. It's just, it doesn't make sense. The COVID vaccine is the same thing. The COVID policies are the same thing. What they're mad at Tony Fauci about is the same thing. Look, and here's how you know. How do you blame Tony Fauci for anything that you don't blame President Trump for?

Well, he's the scientist. Who put him in front of the country to design the messaging? Who? President Trump. Why? Because he didn't want the smoke. Why? Because he got it wrong.

And again, you don't find it a little ironic that the president that they worship, okay? And remember that when Trump is gone. And they all say that it was him and he's the aberration. and they never changed their principles and the party is back and character counts and I'm a Christian, fuck them all sideways when they say that. Because now is when you make that stand. And they've never made it because they have proximity to power and they're afraid he'll take them out. So whatever rationale they come up with later, remember these days, months, weeks, years, okay?

Because I'm telling you that's what's coming. Whoever wants to run who is close to Trump, they're all going to make this case of why it was all about him. He's the wicked witch of the West. And they are, just remember, okay? So why aren't they curious about Trump? You remember what Trump called COVID? He didn't call it the Fauci virus. He didn't call it the virus that America made.

He called it the China virus. Why? Well, in ham-fisted thinking, it's because it came from China. And he didn't want the responsibility. And he didn't want the blame. The smoke, as they say today. So he called it the China virus.

All the Republicans defended that. The left thought it was xenophobic or racist or prejudice or whatever. Okay, I always thought that was a little weird. I never advanced that. I was always curious about the lab leak theory. You can go look in February of 2020. I was saying it. You will find a gap with me about changes in vaccine efficacy, mandates and school, separation policies, PPE, not PPE, but the payroll protection,

and other stuff, because I wasn't on TV. I didn't have a podcast. I had been fired, and I was sulking and trying to figure out my life. So that was a really important year, 2021. one and I was out of it. And it's not an excuse and I was on the record plenty before then. And I stand by everything I said. Why? Because it was the best information I had at the time. And do I wish I could go back and ask different questions different ways? Yeah, of course. Of course I do. Who wouldn't want to relive anything that was controversial? So where is what matters? Well, it only depends on which side you're on. So he called it the China virus, but the guys who worship him are going after Tony Fauci for really creating the virus.

And they don't have any curiosity about whether or not China created it. When China ran the lab, China was doing a lot of the stuff in the lab, China was in control of disclosure that they kept from us, they didn't cooperate, they wouldn't let in the investigators, and they still won't. And you don't have any problem with that, but you think it was Tony Fauci. Does that make sense? No. So then what is it? If it doesn't make sense, you know, to hear this guy, Moreno, who the fuck do you think you are? First of all, yeah, man, just quit. Okay? I'll curse. I'm on a podcast. You know, you're supposed to mean something. You're supposed to represent a group of people. Go take care of your own family, okay? Go deal with your son-in-law, all right? guy is a got allegations, is smacking your daughter around, smacking your granddaughter around, you didn't do anything about it, and now you're a tough guy to an 80-year-old guy. I mean, go take care of your family, okay? What the fuck was wrong with you, letting your daughter get abused by her husband, allegedly?

She says it happened. Where were you in that? Why didn't you go beat his ass? Why didn't you keep her safe? You see what I'm saying? it's not about them coming from a point of conviction, it's convenience, it's advantage over the other side. Is the economy good or bad? Well, Trump says the economy is the best ever. We have the most foreign investment ever. What does he mean? The tariffs? Do you know who's paying those overwhelmingly? You and me.

Okay? The big beautiful bill, he gives tax cuts to the top disproportionately. They replace the revenue that they now need. by cutting programs that work for the people who need help the most, and tariffs that are paid by those same people disproportionately. And you're okay with that. And prices are still popping and they say to you, yeah, you know, but it's just because of the war, and that'll go away and we couldn't let them have a nuke. Who says they're not going to get one?

None of these things even make sense. Going after Fauci. We had to do something about Iran. Don't you mean you had to do something that would stop them from getting a nuke? I feel like all we've done is given them more reason to try to acquire one than ever. Right? That crazy-ass regime of terrorists hate us now in a way they never did. None of these things makes sense. So the idea that you're going to converse, I'm not looking to talk to the political fringes. This podcast isn't for the political fringe. I don't think that that is a complete analysis. I really don't. I think that the good news is, the bad news is that our political dialogue and to a large extent, our political state of play is controlled by fringes because social media magnifies fringes and the media magnifies social media.

And that's a problem. And more and more people in the media and in politics are playing to, social media. So that's why we've been getting more and more fringe issues. Now, why do I say that? Well, because every time they poll the people at large, and look, polls can be inaccurate, all right? They're usually a fairly solid assessment of a snapshot of a moment in time. And if you look at us, more people trust Tony Fauci about what he said about COVID than the U.S. government. So what does that tell you? Well, one, they're blaming the administrations in a way that these

lawmakers are not, right? What does that tell you? we're 50-50 on whether or not the president has gone too far in how he deals with illegal immigration. Think about that. Because you're seven, almost eight and ten, Americans say, if you're here illegally and you commit crimes, you should be removed. Also seven and a half and ten say there should be a pathway to citizenship for people who are here illegally who meet certain criteria. you. So if you were to look at just the state of play in the media and on, you know, on TV talk shows, you'd say, God, we're really divided over ice. And some people just want to abolish, very few people want to abolish ice. Okay. They want ice to do the right thing, the right way, or they want them destroyed because they want this to stop. And I get it. Look, defund the police, defund ICE,

not good. Are you, do you need ice? Yes. Do you need the police? Yes. But I do think you're going to have to get rid a lot of these people they brought in because I don't think they vetted them and they're certainly not training them the right way. Why? It's obvious. And I do think there's something to the theory

that they are stuffing these detention centers, having these private contractors treat people like shit, and they're doing it for profit. And a lot of members of this administration are profiting from it because they're invested in them, including the president, including Tom Holman, including the acting head of ice.

I mean, come on. I mean, it's right in your face. So if you ignore it, what does that mean? That it's not about the facts. And it's not about winning the debate. Dana Bash is never going to win any conversation. She's never going to expose anything. She's never going to get Bobby Kennedy to agree.

Okay? Dana Bash wasted her time in that conversation. not because Dana Bash is bad or wrong. She's the opposite, in my opinion. You don't have to agree with me. But I'm entitled to my opinion, right? They will never say the vaccine helped. Bobby Kennedy knows the vaccine helped.

And Dana Bash knows that they mandated the vaccine for a duration and to a degree that probably wasn't necessary. Now, I don't think they did it to hurt people. And look, and I'll tell you why, if Bobby Kennedy is a real one, if any of these people in MAGA are real ones, why aren't they arguing that the makers of the vaccine

should be able to be sued? Trump gave them complete legal immunity. Did you know that? And Biden extended it. Why? Because they didn't want to make something that they didn't get to test the way they usually do. Remember, remember what Operation Warp speed is when all the MAGA people. Right?

Remember how mad they were when Kamala Harris said, I'm not taking any vaccine that came through Trump? Remember that? And then she, her party, wound up mandating it. Okay? Same vaccine, different politics. Because that's what it's about. Good and evil. Morality.

We are good. They are bad. Very dangerous stuff. Now look, cause for concern that what this administration is doing is absolutely bad? Yes. Yes. Like what? Ice is a layup.

Okay? What ICE is doing is bad. How they're doing it? it is bad rather. How they're doing it is bad. Enforcing the law isn't bad. How you enforce the law is the question and they are doing it in a bad way. And that's why they don't want to push body cameras as a priority. That's why they haven't told you about Renew Good. Renée Good, the investigation. The woman, you know, with the car, the cops said, oh, she tried to run me over, but he was able to shoot her from the side. That guy's back on the job. You haven't heard about the investigation.

that's the truth. That's that's the reality. Alex Pready, same thing. These other ones, now this psycho in Maine that they had on the job, no transparency, no trust. They keep hurting people, they keep grabbing the wrong people, they're not grabbing the people who have the, um, the crimes. And that's why the country is now divided on Trump's, you know, his signature issue. He had two signature issues, right? I would say three. Okay. First one, immigration, close the border. Now we're 50-50 that you're dealing with the people that you were supposed to go after the wrong way. 50-50 on that. Okay, that was a slam dunk for him. It's why the Democrats lost. Second one, the economy. He's in the tank on the economy. And rightly so, his policies have hurt the economy.

And the third one, I'll give you somebody to hate. I'll give you somebody to hate. I'll give you somebody to blame. And he was a big demagogue catalyst of this us versus them, this manufactured division. And I'll give you a little hint of something I'm doing on my show tonight. I do believe that there is a man that you didn't elect who was given outsized power, man, he used it in ways that served him well and did us dirty. He was given great access that he let corporate players come in and take advantage of for their own profit. He's screwed with our elections. He's really

somebody that should be investigated. In fact, I don't even know that he is legitimately here, but it ain't Tony Fauci. It's Elon Musk. You ever taken a look at how he got to this country? He played with a lot more than just his hair.

Okay? And now he gets a huge contract for the government and the next day decides to give over $100 million to the Republican cause and the elections. You don't see a quid pro quo there. You don't think that that's like a living testament to the problem with money in politics and citizens united? How come nobody's investigating him? Oh, well, the Democrats will. Why? Why can't the Republicans? If they care so much about Tony Fauci, why not they care about Elon Musk? Oh, because he lied to us. He lied to you about what? Well, why do you think he's taking the fifth? I don't know. Why did Trump take the fifth? Look, I get how it looks when someone takes the fifth. But what would you do if your lawyers are telling you as an 80-year-old man, okay?

They are looking to hang a case on you. If they can get you saying something that is wrong that you didn't mean as a lie or a deception, but they can take it that way, they can twist it and make a case. now you've got the DOJ coming after you for perj. If they told you that, and by the way, look, again, Josh Hall, a perfect example, Supreme Court Clerk. What does that mean? Top of the top of the top of the top.

Attorney General of a state. What does that mean? Top of the top of the top of the top. If you have a pardon, you can't plead the fifth. He says that to you with a straight face. That's bullshit. Why? Because he knows the pardon was bracketed on by time.

It ends in like April 2025. That means anything he says now about then is not pardoned. He knows that. Why would he say that to you? Because he wants to divide. He wants to expose. It's not about the facts. It's not about agreement.

It's not about being reasonable. It is for the majority of us, but not for the power players. You're going to get just what you saw in that CNN show. You're going to get just what you saw in that Fauci hearing. Until you start realizing that that's not what it's about, man. You cannot change their minds. You just have to outnumber them. You have to outnumber them. And the good news is the rational and reasonable outnumber the fringe, the extremists. But you got to come out and you got to take your country back and you got to give a shit and you got to deal with the noise and the frustration of getting an ID or whatever else, the new qualification there is. And you got to vote and you got to fuck the parties and you got to get rid of these extreme candidates and you got to get people in there who are coming in to be reasonable to work with the other side and to work on what matters to you, not some boogeyman that they use to scare people into voting for them.

you've got to outnumber them. You're not going to outthink them. You're not going to rationalize and empathize. It's not going to happen. Okay? This is trying to tell an evangelical Christian that they should be open to the fact that there's no God. It's not going to happen.

And this is not an attack of the effort to try. I try. I try all the time. But Dan Abash was never going to do anything. anything but score points for one side with that interview. Did she know that going into it? Yeah, probably. Your producers did. But that's the game. That's how you get the clips. That's how you get the ratings. But the game is killing us. And I want you to see it because you are part of the larger number of the reasonable and the rational. And you can be really mad at a side or both sides or

one side doesn't matter. That's okay. You can be really pissed off about things. I'm not telling not to. Anger can be a great motivator to improvement. But you have to see that if people are on a different side from you, you ain't bringing them over. You got to just outnumber them, okay? If you want things to change in this country from this administration, from Trump, from MAGA, you're going to have to outnumber them. You'll never change what they are. Yes, some of them used to be Democrats and voted for Obama and voted for Trump. If they're still okay with what they see in this country, If they can still tell themselves, hey, look, if you're here illegally, this is what you get, you know, we don't even say that about people who are on death row. But you're going to say it about somebody who was coaxed over here by a company with the promise of a job and helped coordinate and help facilitate them to come into this country illegally?

And nothing ever happens to the country and you want to treat these people like they're El Chapo? There's something wrong with that. It's not about the facts. it's about deep-seated lack of cognitive dissonance and just identification and just almost mental illness. You got to outnumber them. You got to out-vote them, and then things will change. That's the truth. Thank you for subscribing and following.
