Starting point is 00:00:00 Hi folks, Chris Voss here from thechrissvossshow.com. Hey, come in here at CS 2019. Oh my God, wow. We are down in Eureka Park. We're at booth number 53-160 with Talent Alpha. These guys are a tech talent as a service website, what they do. And go ahead and introduce yourself if you would, sir. My name is Przemek Berend.
Starting point is 00:00:21 I'm a CEO and founder of Talent Alpha. All right. And they can find you at talent-alpha.com? That is correct. So tell us about you guys, what you do and how you do it. We are a platform that connects small and medium sized software houses in Central and Eastern Europe with the enterprise level clients. We are tapping into the wealth of Central European talent.
Starting point is 00:00:43 We are speaking about roughly 700,000 software engineers and connecting them with enterprises around the globe. I know this is really important because a lot of the friends that I have in the tech and software industry, they build their offices around the world where people just kind of work out of China or they work out of Japan. There's people in the UK. There's people in America. There's people. Their offices just spread around and they work, you know, there's people in the UK, there's people in America, there's people, you know, their offices just spread around.
Starting point is 00:01:07 And, you know, they get on these conference calls so they can utilize your guys' service to find the, I can see over your shoulder here, the IT tech developers, iOS developers, Java developers, people that have the thing. And you guys have AI-driven matchmaking as well. That is correct. So what we do, we inventory all of the skills available in these organizations in our proprietary technology, testing their both hard skills and soft skills, as well as their psychometrics, and our AI engine is then finding the best match to the client needs.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Wow. And because we understand who's available and when, we can actually deploy that talent pretty much on demand. That's pretty interesting. And then you guys got the multi-faceted website that people can go to and they can go ahead and find the people they want to have on their team? That is correct. We have a functioning demo of our technology. We have already partners in our network and profiles available for you tomorrow. Awesome, awesome. So what do you guys see as the future of this?
Starting point is 00:02:03 What is your biggest clients looking for and the clients that are picking up what you're doing? We actually believe that the talent platforms are the future of work and both the large organizations as well as the talent will migrate towards them because we believe that people tend to work in smaller organizations and actually a variety of projects and this is where technologies like our platform come into play. That's awesome, That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:02:27 This is pretty cool. And I know a lot of my software friends, they're always looking for people that can do stuff, people that are talented, of course. Do you guys determine how qualified they are, or is it just up to their resume and their strength? We are testing and validating their skills. We are actually measuring them across several dimensions
Starting point is 00:02:46 based on our skill stream. And on every skill level, we are actually capturing four metrics, self-assessment, a third-party assessment, where we are using third-party tools to actually validate a given skill, team assessment, as well as the client feedback. So the assessment that it makes,
Starting point is 00:03:03 it's kind of like almost having a reference or referrals, right? Because people kind of know how good a... This is actually minimizing your risk of hiring someone who has the proven skill set as well as having a psychological profile, a personality profile that will be best suited for your need. So if I'm getting fired from a lot of jobs because I'm a toxic person and I my coding isn't that good you guys will be able to figure that out yes absolutely you wouldn't probably just make it on our matching algorithm or we'd be on the very bottom of the alpha range that sounds good because people want really good people and if you hire and
Starting point is 00:03:40 invest well on the front end it's going to work well for you in the back end. The one thing I learned a long time ago when owning companies, we used to put our people through three to four interviews because I learned a long time ago if you invest heavily in getting good interviews and getting good people and you sift through them, you take your time
Starting point is 00:03:58 and you get the good data that you need, you're going to end up with somebody that's going to stay with your company for a while. Absolutely. And in our model, we are continuously testing this talent. It's not that you go through one round of testing. Our matching engine and the alpha profile will be actually sampling different skills of yours every couple of weeks on the mobile app.
Starting point is 00:04:18 So we are continuously evolving your profile and building understanding about you as a professional over time. Sounds good. Anything more that we need to know about you guys? Well, we invite any enterprises here at CES to come and see us to talk about the future of work. Also, any investors who would like to join our CEDRON that we are about to close, come and talk to us. If you're a VC, come see these folks. They're at booth 53-160 in Eureka Park at the Sands here at CES 2019 thanks for being with us thanks Chris all right and we'll see you guys next time
