K-Tek at NAB 2019 Booth Interview

Hi, this is Chris Voss here from the chrissvossshow.com. Hey, coming here from the NAB show 2019. We are at the KTEC booth and also Stingray Aero KTEC all made by KTEC and I'm here with Brenda. Brenda, how you doing today? I'm doing great Chris, how are you doing? Good, good, good, good. Now you guys are at booth C7933 and people can come see you here at Central Hall. You guys are by the Welcome to Bavaria booth so that's really cool. So you guys have some interesting new products. What do you have this year? Well we're KTEC and we've been making boom poles and windscreens and shock mounts for almost 25 years and what we've done is we've come out with a new line of poles, windscreens, and shock mounts for entry-level consumers.

So, ta-da! This is our Aero Boom Pole. All right. That thing is huge. It is. And you can get it with a shock mount, and you can get it with a windscreen. So it comes with a pole, comes with a shock mount, comes with a dead cat. Absolutely. Dead cats are, this is the only a shock mount, comes with a dead cat. Absolutely. Dead cats are, this is the only time it's good to have a dead cat. Aww. We have a cable.

And a cable. And you get a bag. And you get a giant carry bag to take it with you everywhere. You do. And it's all for one fixed price. So all you need is a shotgun, microphone, and you're ready to record. So this is great for content makers, YouTubers, bloggers, especially if you're on site doing stuff. And it makes it so you can go out, you can do sound recording with a shotgun mic.

You can go overhead, just like you see in the movie studios or on TV or anything. They always have a boom mic operator who's over getting the sound directly from somebody. And they're the guys who hold it, mic it up and all that good stuff. So this is great if you're a content creator because it's something you can take and utilize. What else do you guys have this year? This year, there are Stingray line of products. We have our new hip pack.

What's great about our hip pack is you can pretty much wear it anywhere. I have it attached to my hip and my waist and I can simply open it up and I have it attached to my hip and my waist and I can simply open it up and I have everything I need. So when I have to laugh someone up, let's say, or I'm on set and I need to hold a boom pole or almost photographers, videographers, it can be used in so many different environments. It has all your gags. You can close it up. You can wear it. You don't have to take it off.

You can wear it on the back if you like. You can wear it closer to the front. Wraps around your leg? Wraps around your leg, yeah. And this is removable, the thigh strap as well. Okay, cool, cool. Yeah. What else do you guys have?

We have in our Stingray line, we have our Gizmo bags, which are wonderful because you can see what you are actually carrying inside the bag. They come in three different sizes. This is our small, medium, and we also have a large. And in our Stingray line we have the phenomenal, wonderful K-Tech Stingray Sun Hat. So it's a beautiful sun hat where you can wear your headphones so you can monitor your sound quality that's coming off of your boom.

And then, of course, it's got magnetic ends that wrap around that can easily put your headphones on and off. You've got the sunscreen protection on the back of your neck and a huge brim, just a huge brim that goes around the outside and stuff. Yeah. And one size fits all. One size fits all. Yeah, it's very big. It's got a little strap that's on the back there and everything else.

What else do you guys have going on this year? We have our Mix Pro bag, which is a mixer bag where you can put your mixer on the inside. And transmitters attached to the outside, you can put your battery on the inside as well and carry everything you need in one kit. We also, our mixer bags come in different sizes, so this is our Mix Pro bag. We have a junior, a small, and a large available depending on the size of your mixer. Okay. Oh, and our microphone case.
