Hi folks, Chris Foss here from thechrisfossshow.com, the Chris Foss Show. Hey, we're coming to you with another great podcast and we are covering CES 2020. Oh my gosh. And we're up in the Wynn Hotel. We're up in the suites and we're visiting a company called Coolpad and it's suite number 2801. And if you're watching this, you're going to see the first exposure of a really brand new launch of a Coolpad.

And you're going to see it here and you're going to want to come by suite 2801 to see it. So I'm interviewing today the CEO, Steve Sestouli of Coolpad. How are you doing, Steve? Good. Thanks, Chris. How's everything today? Awesome sauce. We're just here and this is pretty exciting. A new phone launch at CES. That's right. What we're doing, Coolpad is all about family tech first and foremost and so we have two big announcements we'll talk about the evolution of our Dyno watch series and then we're going to talk about the first 5G phone available in the United States

that's under $400. Under $400 for 5G? Holy crap! Yeah so what's interesting about this product is you're talking about a screen larger than 6 and 1 1 1 inches. You have a 16 megapixel shooter on the front. You have double shooters on the back, 48 megapixel on top, 8 megapixel wide angle on the bottom, 4,000 milliamp hour battery. And I could go on forever and ever with this thing.

Coolpad. What kind of company are you? What are you guys about? Website link would be good too, of course. Great. So from Coolpad's point of view, we pivoted over the last couple of years to really put a focus on family-friendly technology. We focus on children, we focus on the elderly, but of course because we're all parents we all need to purchase the technology directly and so we've evolved our Dyno series of watches. We've gone from Dyno 1 to Dyno 2. You can see a full circle OLED display. This has got the 2500 series in it versus the original 2100 series and a closed operating system. And kids love this. This is for ages four and above, and there's multi-UIs even for those in the tween range. Awesome sauce. Awesome sauce. That's probably my speed there

for the age range, really. I should probably wear one of those. And you've got it in a variety of different colors here, I guess. We do. We go from four plus up into the six seven eight nine year old range they're fully connected LTE devices so the parents will always know where the children are with geofencing geolocation as well as the ability to communicate using voice with the child all right so you guys are launching the phone you've got the new watches that are out.
