Hi, this is Voss here from thechrisvossshow.com. Hey, we're coming here with another podcast episode. We're sharing with you some of the really coolest booths and technology we're seeing at CES 2020. And we're here at the Danby booth, and we're seeing some of the cool products they're launching here at Danby. We're here with Corey, the product manager. How are you doing today, Corey? Excellent. How are you? Awesome sauce.

So you guys, well, tell us what you do. Yeah, we're Dambi Appliances. We've been in business for over 70 years, selling refrigerators, wine coolers, microwaves, stoves, and other appliances for your home. Usually focusing on a niche business of smaller appliances, secondary appliances for your home. Nice.

So what do we have here that you guys are pushing into CES? This is our brand new product that we're very excited to announce. It's the world's first smart mailbox. And what is a smart mailbox? Well we have a Wi-Fi connected mailbox with a motion activated camera so we're able to see everybody that's coming to your front doorstep as well as all the delivery drivers that are coming to your home. Making deliveries very easy for all drivers. Simply all I have to do is open the top door, which is always unlocked, simply place the package in and drop it down. Safe and secure spot at the bottom and just to see like magic like we're in Vegas here. There we go.

That's right. Might get a show next week, you never know. But now we're in our safe and secure spot that we can open via the app, via keypad control if we'd like to do that as well. And simply we can set up a one-time use code that people are able to enter. So we can use this for delivery drivers as well. Well. When you're having, you know, you want a cell phone delivered, maybe you don't want it to drop down, you simply place it in there. Or like I like to use it for selling on Facebook

Marketplace, I simply just leave something in there and let them pick it up and deliver the money. Don't have to be home, don't have to go by other people's schedules. And it has the key access too if it needs to? Yeah, the key access is there for a backup. And then the unit itself can be secured to the ground via bolts, can be to the wall as well via bolts, or you can load here down here in our false bottom. You can load it with some weights to make the unit to be about 80, 90 pounds. So very heavy, awkward to pick up if somebody wanted to. But if they did, we have an alarm in it as well.

So that will tell all your neighbors and will'll tell you via the app as well. So does it come in just one size? One size for now, this is the size that most families would need. We're going to be getting, you know, three to five packages sent to you a week and you're generally home. Now, if you, you can have multiple users for this as well. So if you do go on vacation, you could set up a neighbor, a friend, family to be able to come by and be able to use it so that they can for this as well. And then you've got an app from the iOS and Android stores so that people can see when they have a delivery, control what's going on, access all that sort of good stuff. Yeah, it's a very powerful app. The fact that we can see live video, we can see recorded video.

We have the ability to do two-way voice communication as well, so that when the FedEx driver comes, if they have any issues, they can simply call us and we'll get that notice on our phone. Or if we see people having problems or if we see people, maybe they look like they're thieves, we can tell them to take off. That's right. Like, hey, better go. Yeah, I see you there, buddy. So are these all coming one size

or they're very exciting yeah so one size a couple of colors we have black gray and uh we'll be releasing beige soon um and just these are just uh brand new to the market we just released them the other uh uh in october at the end of october uh you know so very excited we have um listed on our website damby parcelguard.com but also on other websites like Amazon, Wayfair, homevego.com as well.
