Hi, this is Voss here from thechrisvossshow.com. Here we're coming to you with another great interview at CES 2023. We're at booth number 54518, talking to some amazing CEO and founder. Go ahead and introduce yourself if you would, please. Hi, everyone. I'm Dr. Taryn Rose. I'm an orthopedic surgeon turned shoe designer and a big fan of tech. I always say, if we can get a man on the moon, why can't we get a woman down the street comfortably?

So we're here at CES to launch our new tech platform that will measure and recreate your feet in 3D so that we can make custom shoes for everyone. That's awesome. I actually need, like, new feet. Can you 3D make me some new feet after two days of CES? Maybe Formlabs next door can

we're doing our demonstrations of our app here at the booth. It'll be ready in probably three months. As soon as we get it through the Apple store. Cool. So you're going to have a special app that will take, I guess, AR

So this is your shoe line as well, correct? Yes. Yes, we make our own shoes, and the majority is made to measure. So this is from the 3d reconstruction from the app

this is actually his feet so it's a it's really high res and then what we come up with oops is basically a cross-sectional plan of how to make his shoes. So we see that in his feet, he has this area here that's going to cause him pressure. So we need to expand there to give him a better fit. That is awesome. You know, one of my problems I have inherited from my father is one foot is wider than the other. Yeah, so we will do mismatched feet. People often have two different feet, so

one of them is always suffering. I've been told I have two left feet, so that's probably what it is. But no, my father, he had to go to Vans back in the day. He had a 14, and one of his left one is wider than his right, and I have a little bit of that. I'm just a 13. But

he had to have his shoes custom-made for years, which was really expensive back in the day. Yeah, so these days you can get custom-made shoes from us at the same price as other luxury designer brands. And yes, those price points aren't cheap, but we're giving you a lot of service, and what you're paying for is the knowledge, right? And women, I mean, they walk around in high heels.

Sometimes these shoes aren't fun, but, you know, people love it. I've had girlfriends that have said, well, you know, these shoes hurt, but I love these shoes. Right. And you're like, well, if there was a way to just make them more comfortable. That's right. So with your method, you're able to do that. Yes. And we also have, I'll show you here.

Actually, this is probably a better shot of it. This whole area is made out of carbon fiber. Oh, wow. They have metalized. So this is our patented technology support system so that you increase the surface area that's supporting your foot, and therefore you decrease the pressure that's loading on the ball of your feet. That's good.

Yeah, so what you get from us is this 360-degree engineering of the shoes. Awesome. Awesome. And they look good, too. I mean, I don't know. This looks like Vegas, right? Yeah. I mean, it probably wouldn't look good on me, but I'm sure it looks good on you and every other woman.

But not good on me. No. I don't know. I look good in flat. But if you wanted shoes like this, we could make every other woman. But not good on me. No. I don't know. I look good in a flat. So they would have to be two left feet. So this is pretty awesome. So I'm panning around. This is, people can come to the booth. They can see your sample lines. Now, do I see some men's shoes over there in the corner? Yes. We do make men's shoes.

Okay. And this has been a big... Oh, those are nice. Yeah. Look at those. Those are nice. Show favorite. Yeah, that's when I'm in my billionaire mood right there.

Believe it or not, this goes with everything. It's a neutral. Orange is the neutral. Can I wear them with my shorts? Orange is the new black, you know? Yeah, so men also have issues. So it's not just about the women, although because the heels is a greater physics challenge, right?

Yeah, because of the angle and stuff, huh? Right. So it's hard to make it comfortable. Well, this has been pretty amazing. Anything more we need to touch on? No, I'm just happy, so happy to be here.
