Starting point is 00:00:00 Hi folks, Chris Voss here from thechrisvossshow.com. Hey, we're coming to you with an interview here. We're doing it at CES 2022. You can find us at North Hall at 8269 Booth. And we're with the CEO, Andrew. Andrew, how are you doing? I'm doing well. How are you doing, Chris? Cool. Tell us what EveryDose is and how it does it.
Starting point is 00:00:22 EveryDose is a medication management company. We have a mobile app for patients that basically helps you track your medications on a daily basis with medication reminders drug information basically anything you need to stay on track with your daily medications oh wow what's the dot com for you guys or where can we find you on the internet every dose dot ai every dose dot ai yep and what motivated you want to start this company so i started the What's the dot com for you guys? Or where can we find you on the internet? It's everydose.ai. Everydose.ai. Yep.
Starting point is 00:00:48 And what motivated you to want to start this company? So I started the company about four years ago after watching a loved one struggle with medication management. So he got discharged from the hospital with 10 pill bottles and had to take medications multiple times a day. And as a lot of your listeners probably know, that is not an easy process at all. And all he got from the hospital was a bunch of paper handouts. So I wanted to build an app just as a prototype to help him manage his medications. And that was able to turn into a company, and we've had great success so far. Awesome, Sauce. So now there's two ways you can do.
Starting point is 00:01:23 You can do this for your own self, or you can do this with family. How does that work? Yeah, so historically, it's just been, you track the medications for yourself in the app. But today, actually, we're releasing new feature called Family Hub. It's going out to select users today, and then all our users in February. And what that allows you to do is keep multiple profiles in the app. So you might manage medications for a couple children. Maybe you have an elderly parent and you're responsible for giving them their medications. Now with Family Hub, you can have up to five different profiles. In the app, you can get reminders for all those different medications. And it's a great way to just make sure your family has everything they need to track their medications.
Starting point is 00:02:06 That's awesome. You know, even I have the problem at my age where I work out. The last five months, I've been going to the gym every day. I've been building muscle. And there's like all these supplements, like 20 supplements I have to take. And sometimes I forget. And I know my mom does something funny. She takes, whenever she takes a medication for the day, she turns it over. Okay. Yeah. And then the next day she turns it back over. But that's kind
Starting point is 00:02:30 of a horrible way of keeping track of your medication. Right. Yeah. So, so when you take the medication, you go into the app and say, I took my vitamin C today or. Yep. Okay. Exactly. So you can think of kind of the main page is a to-do list, a task list of all the drugs you need to take, when you need to take them. Okay. But there's a lot of other features in there as well. And does it send you a reminder saying it's time to take X, Y, Z? Yep, it does. So we have a lot of people that take medications four times a day, for example, that use the app. They'll get a notification just like when you get a text message that says, hey, it's time to take your medication.
Starting point is 00:03:05 What do you think really sets you guys apart from some of other people that may be trying to do this in the market? Yeah, so in addition to the mobile app, we have a full suite of analytics and a dashboard for doctors and nurses. Oh, wow. And that's really our business model, actually, is to go to hospitals and healthcare organizations and help them boost medication adherence in their population. So what's really different about us is there's a full dashboard for doctors, nurses, and they can make sure that their patients are actually staying on track with medication. So it's more than just the patient side of things. That can be helpful because I know some people, you know, they go off their meds and they don't take them and they're like, I don't know why I feel funny doctor. And the doctor can be just like, well, you clearly haven't been taking your meds. Yeah, absolutely. Especially
Starting point is 00:03:52 with COVID that's really changed digital health a lot. And now these big organizations are realizing, Hey, we need a better way to understand what patients are doing when they leave our clinic or our hospital. And this is a great way for them to see in real time which patients are taking medications, which ones might need some assistance because they're missing medications. Awesome sauce. Well, this is great. It's a great technology, and I'm going to recommend it to my mom. Anything more we need to know about what you guys are showcasing here at CES?
Starting point is 00:04:24 The app is fully free to download. So you can download it on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. You don't need to get it from your hospital necessarily, so download it, use it for free, and we'd love to hear your feedback. Just look for EveryDose at everydose.io. Thank you very much, Andrew. We certainly appreciate it. Thanks, Chris. And one correction, it's everydose.ai. That's very much, Andrew. We certainly appreciate it. Thanks, Chris.
Starting point is 00:04:45 And one correction, it's everydose.ai. That's not correct. Oh, did I? Okay. That's incorrect. Ignore that. Ignore that. There you go.
