Hi folks, Chris Voss here from thechrissvossshow.com.
Hey, we're here down at Eureka Park, CES 2020.
We're at booth number 52957.
You guys saw us interview this gentleman on the podcast earlier this week.
I was super impressed with this thing.
It's going to be awesome.
And it's called Gifter app.
You can download it on iOS and Google Play.
And we're here with the ceo how you doing buddy
it's good to see you again in the flesh we did the last one on webcam and there's like a lot
of google stuff so uh tell us who you guys are and what you're doing here at cf yeah we are from uh
we are gifted up we're from uh scottsdale arizona phoenix arizona what we do we are from, we are GifterUp, we are from Scottsdale, Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona. What we do, we are a digital gift card marketing platform for givers and receivers that help
support local businesses and communities. So our mobile application allows some of the cool
features we have on the community. Our mobile application allows users to search and
discover their favorite local businesses, invite them to the platform and at the same time they can
invite their friends to join. Another cool feature, community feature we have with Gifther Up is that
users can search and discover their favorite local coffee shops, restaurants, hair salons and easily
add them into their wish list and their friends and
loved ones they can instantly access the friends wish list and share a gift card in just three clicks.
So you guys both restaurants can use the service, consumers can use the service and they can get
involved and easily give stuff away. Yes, I mean, both businesses like from restaurants, coffee shops, as long as you have a product or a service, you can easily sign up on our platform.
Users can use the application.
It's free for users to download the app.
And local business, we offer a free version where they can get access to our loyalty rewards program and take advantage of that.
Gift cards is probably the most powerful tool in any business because it actually has a monetary value
and brings your customers back with a result
based on national statistics to spend more on the gift card value
on an average of $59 more per gift card when they come in so so they can they can surface
on the app stores they can look for gift free car just give her a wrap and uh what's the website
uh the website is a gifter app.com uh with number three and uh there is a a reason as well that we use the number three on our
application and specifically for three reasons Chris the first reason we use
the number three is because you can easily buy a gift card from any business
in just three clicks in just three clicks as simple as that and the other
reason is because we believe that there is the art of giving, the art of receiving, and the art of reciprocating.
And one of the cool things the app allows you to do is that you can easily re-gift a gift card that you have on your phone that you are not planning on using.
And you can easily press the button, re-gift, select your contact, attach a video or a picture and send it to your friend that easy.
That's awesome.
The third reason is that GiftedUp will empower joy among friends, family and community.
As a small local business for the last 14 years, as a restaurateur,
I've realized that there is a huge need for local businesses and consumers to sell gift cards, but also the consumers to
have an easier way to buy gift card from a local business.
And what do I mean by that is that the biggest frustration we have as consumer is that and
the biggest problem we have, we never know what our friends and loved ones like to receive.
And as a result, what do we do?
We buy gift cards from local grocery stores.
Like, you know, you got Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and you just pass it over to your friend. With Gifter app, friends can easily access your personalized wishlist and send you a gift card
from something that they know you will like. And the beauty of the app that they can surprise you
instantly. You can drive, you know, you can be driving down the road, having a bad day and instantly you receive a message, your
friend Chris sent you a gift card from your favorite coffee shop. So that's some of
the cool stuff that we offer on the gift card platform.
Awesome, so have you had some other stories to share with us?
Yes, yes. One of the things that we have and we're trying to kind of differentiate
ourselves, We brought an
anthropologist that studies a gifting society and he's been studying gifting
societies for the last several years and he's also a personal friend and family
and we brought him in order to for us as technology advances with
augmented reality and virtual reality we want to make sure we keep the feeling of joy alive
between friends, family, local community, as well as the businesses.
So I will pass you over to Alex.
Hi, Alex. How are you doing, buddy?
I'm fantastic. Glad to be here.
This one?
You're getting a free mic today.
Oh, yeah. Is it a gift?
No, I don't want that back.
I'll give it back to you
Well, we're fantastic, I mean we love the app and we have great visions for it
The main idea is to spread the joy and
Anthropologically speaking Gifting receiving and reciprocating has always been part of our
social fabric.
It's actually what made us human.
So projecting ahead in 20-30 years from now, we will all use tech gadgets.
One of the challenges we have is how to retain human dignity and how to retain our human
relationships.
So gifting and being able to gift, it's the glue that will retain this humanity.
We're not reinventing the wheel.
The Gifter app, what we're doing is facilitating and inspiring people to do something that they already do.
Like for example, you, when you go to a coffee shop or you with your best friend,
you don't know who bought more, who made more gifts to go through the year
If you with your best friend bought you coffee or if you drank it with a car
The transaction between you and your best friend is so big that it's incalculable
And this is what a gift is a gift is incalculable value
You cannot put a monetary value really on a gift the five dollars for a coffee for a coffee is really a token
You know because the joy that will bring to the person of drinking that coffee or knowing that somebody thought of me that day, it's much more than the five dollars.
Actually, sometimes the five dollar gift can have much more emotional impact than an expensive gift.
So we want to inspire through the forthcoming years of this technological phantasmagoria,
we want to have an app that is deep rooted in our humanity and has been rooted in our
humanity since the prehistoric times.
So we are here and we will be here because gifting will be here.
This is awesome.
So you got a great app, you got a great vision, you got a great vision. You want to go out there, change the world, make it better.
Yes.
And I guess there's a rap to go with this.
Yes, there's a rap.
Yes, yes.
There's a rap.
Wonderful team members.
Keep your mind.
Wonderful team members.
Oh, I have to end it because I got to read it. I got to read it. I don't have it memorized.
You have to read it.
Oh, it's good.
You have to read it and memorize it.
Yeah. Okay. You have to read it. Oh, it's good. You have to read it and memorize it.
Yeah.
Okay.
So I...
Yeah.
So, all right.
Just pulling it up right now.
So I called it a Gifter Rap because that's what people sometimes think it is.
Gifter Rap, but it's Gifter App.
All right.
Gotta give a bit gratitude.
We be living it, spreading seeds of joy and support in local businesses connecting
communities through all our differences gift a rap will help you spread love through giving gifts
and it all started in cyprus greece young man tazza wanted to grind to find a peace
talk generosity is key it perpetuates peace so he became known for giving love in the streets.
Everyone knew his name when he was just 16.
Sometimes he was wild and a bit extreme but he found his success his own way and lived
like a king.
Doing big business, he's doing his thing.
Flexing 5 or 7 restaurants, money getting really long.
People love his smile and it helped with the ambiance.
Moved to U.S., where he was still getting on.
Opened a Greek eatery where his food was feasted on.
But he didn't stay, because he had some itches.
To go for something greater, and invest in a mission.
Founded an app to support local business.
But his partners turned on him and left him to the fishes.
Took a while to recoup. His trust was diminished. A few nights alone made me realize a vision
that love is all we got, so we got to give it. He started building an app to enable this giving.
Gotta give a bit gratitude. We be living it, spreading seeds of joy and supporting local
businesses, connecting communities through all our differences.
Gifter app is the tool to help you spread love through giving gifts. Tazo had a vision of an app
that would help spread seeds of joy, but he had a long path and work to do to get it up and going.
It took him seven to ten months to sign a contract with the banks to get the money flowing.
It was time to start building and time to get focused.
I remember the first day he told me about it. I was excited and his success I just couldn't doubt
it. So I'm putting the time there wasn't no lounging. Now it is live and all these downloads
we counting. It took a team how he put it together was a dream. He brought together friends from the
US and Greece. We have many different talents, skills, and abilities.
And I'm for his designer, I'm so glad he chose me.
So we put together the brand messaging and the prototype.
Made an app where you can send gift cards from your phone to your friends in life.
Send them a message and a video too.
See their wish list so you can buy a gift they'll use.
A way to give joy right from your pocket.
Only local business on the app
so they can reap the profits.
We finally got it built and I enjoyed the process.
Something came from Unity, that's my type of project.
All right, there you go.
So it's Adam French giving us his rundown,
his first CES wrap, I think.
Is this the first CES wrap?
First CES wrap.
There you go.
This is our first booth interview that has a wrap.
So this is pretty awesome.
So this is one more reason to come down and visit these guys.
You're going to love it.
And come to booth number 52957.
Check out the Gifter app.
You can also, of course, download it off iOS and Android.
If you're a business, I highly recommend you get on it so you can sell the gift cards.
And then if you're a consumer, it's a great way to trade and sell your gift cards, retrade,
all that good stuff.
Thank you so much, Chris.
It's been nice to have you over here and we're excited.
This is the type of joy we want people to feel with small acts of kindness among each
other and remind each other how much we appreciate and love each other.
Awesome, son.
Thank you so much.
Thank you.
All right, guys.
Have a great show and watch my audience for the next episodes that we put out of all
the super cool stuff here at CES 2020.
Woo!
All right.
