Hi folks, Chris Voss here from thechrissvossshow.com. Hey, coming here with another great interview we're doing here at the NAB Show 2019.
This is Intellimedia's booth we're going to be talking about here today, Intellimedia Networks.
And I'm here with the CEO and CO-founder, Teodros. How are you doing?
Wonderful, Chris. How are you? Thank you for the opportunity to talk about our product. Thanks for having us at the booth.
Exactly, so different folks will talk about the various products. My area will
be to showcase a product that we call Mixi. Mixi has been nominated as product
of the year at NAB 2019. We're very excited about this product because it's
going to free up a lot of consumers to be able to create content very simply.
So above and beyond are the platform of delivery products that we have, the video delivery.
What Mixi will do is, as you can way create a titling overlay on top of any video
and we have existing titles that we have and for example you can quickly with a few clicks
be able to publish information relatively easily this is targeted to a very large consumer type
broadcasters that we're beginning to see that deal with social media. And we can see that too
on the screen here. Absolutely. Deal with social media and gives them the capability to create
content. Now this is not just about sports. The application can also be used for presentations where you can have companies talk about different products,
but simply being able to create content without having to deal with massive production studios or super expensive cameras.
This product will be available coming up in June, but we're very excited to have it, and we think it will hit a good spot for the market. And what are a lot of companies are going to
use this technology? For example, I would consider these to be any company that
wants to create impromptu content for knowledge transfer, sales and marketing.
Any company that has to do, for example, with partners, sending quick information that folks could digest before a sales call.
Any quick updates in any products, any services that you're launching,
this gives you the capability to have your brand enforced,
but also be able to send fast communication without scheduling big production studios.
That's awesome. That's awesome, Sauce.
We love it. We love it. Thank you.
Pretty cool. So what's the website they can take a look at this app? big production studios. That's awesome. That's awesome. We love it. We love it. Thank you.
Pretty cool. So what's the website they can take a look at this app? They can go to www.intellimedianetworks.com and there you'll be able to see some of our nominated products for this show. Okay. And then
we're going to go to the next product that you guys are going to have. The next part of the Intellimedia Networks booth, we're going to be taking a look at
the second product they have and I'm with Darshan, the president.
Hey Darshan, how are you doing, bud?
I'm fine, Chris.
Thank you.
Great.
So show us what else you guys got going on here.
So Chris, what we're trying to show here is a user case of a hyper-reality streaming solution.
What we are trying to answer here is that VR has been tagged
always as a tool for the gamification.
We are trying to show the application of the enterprise
VR application in media solutions.
So we are building a use case where
there are virtual walkthroughs are available,
where you can build the virtual environments.
You can take 360-degree videos of the your own offices any enterprise virtual environment you
can create and here we are porting in a live projection so the use cases can be
let's say you can create an environment of a real estate the house or real
estate walkthroughs you can create or a training rooms walkthroughs you can
create where the presenter can be remote.
They can be based in a studio environment,
or they can be having a green screen setup,
and the projection will be real time, can be projected.
Nice.
So we see that AR, VR frameworks are becoming
a more studio type towards the gamification.
What we are trying to bring is our video cloud
in the virtual environment.
This environment can be ported
to any of the traditional AR VR devices.
You got Oculus Rift there?
Yes, and we are building our own variables also.
Oh, wow.
This demonstration we are doing on the show
is on the Oculus.
We have the presenter here.
And there is in the studio in Los Angeles, we have the remote presenter.
So both these presenters are available live right now.
And when anybody wants to watch the video, they can go through our office environment.
The office environment leads to our conference room.
And they can decide which presenter they want to watch in a real time this would be really cool for like real estate like I
mentioned before I was real estate agent being able to do virtual walkthroughs
got it you know it's like I always hate whenever I have to go looking for a
house or or whatever I it's like I'm like can I just see like the inside of
the house for my computer without having to drive like all over town and then go walk to the house wait a half an
hour for the realtor to show up absolutely you know increase we can
build even in one step further that more than just engaging we can build a more
of a participation the workflows where the agent can be virtual you can ask the
question to the agent agent can take you through the house.
That way you don't have to be present on open house.
Even the agent can join from their home
and give a walk through the multiple people.
So VR wise, the agent could virtually be walking you
through the house going, this is the kitchen.
Absolutely.
The people already know what the kitchen is.
Absolutely.
And she can talk to multiple people.
So, wow.
So an open house, you can have an, can have maybe 50 people comes in a day.
Now you can have a 7 days a week virtual house, open house you can do it.
That's the biggest challenge too when you're a realtor, all your clients want open houses
and it's so time consuming to go sit in the house on a Saturday or Sunday and wait for
people to show up.
And this makes it so it's got, know like you say 24 7 axis I know sometimes when I was a realtor it was hard for me because
I have to be like we need to show your house can you get your family to go to
McDonald's or something for a few hours while we wander through your house and
if you see the Chris we are also trying to solve another problem here what is the
next for live streaming the traditional live streaming is the screen base we are trying to be projected live streaming
that's what we are trying to find it here so once you perfect the projection
technology then can be a lot of applications yeah yeah definitely so
what else do we have we have the video artificial intelligence I think Niro is
going to do the demonstration okay we'll we'll move to him. Thank you.
Okay guys, so for the third part of our segment, we're in another part of the Intellimedia Networks booth, and I'm here with Nirav.
How are you doing, Nirav?
Great, how are you?
Good, good. So you're going to show us the third part of what you guys do.
So basically what we are showcasing here is bringing artificial intelligence onto the video.
So we are calling it VAI, Video Artificial Intelligence.
With this, we are trying to extract information that is there in the video, which basically is not available to a normal human eye.
So let's say you have tons of video and you would want to know at what instance or what second what happened you know how many cars were there in that video how
many man or how many women or you know boys or any other objects that you want
to identify with this we are basically enabling an engine wherein you pass on a
live or a recorded video and it starts extracting information we pass that information back and you
know you can create the use case that you would want to with that kind of an information wow
so any video i can give it to you guys you guys will go through and basically
uh compile the data sure of that video so everything is automated you know it's we give
you a location you put on all your videos engine starts running
it picks up video one by one it starts processing it starts extracting all the metadata the
information that is in there it starts showcasing you it's up to you if you would want we build a
story around it you know we create categories off of it we would want you to classify we can
do everything we can tell you a classification looking at this video, which is basically a travel video.
We can classify it and say, okay, you know, these are the points of interest.
These are the hotels.
These are the landmarks.
This is what you need to know.
This is what is happening in social media at this point in time.
Things like that.
Wow.
So you guys can tell me what's trending while this video is playing.
Yeah.
And we do it with live video as well.
So if you have a live feed coming in, you know, we can really tell you what's trending while this video is playing. Yeah, and we do it with live video as well. So if you have a live feed coming in, we can really tell you what's really going on in different mediums,
on social media, maybe on other sites and things like that.
So what are the companies that are going to be using this sort of information?
It could be broadcasters. It could be an entertainment company.
It could be useful training as well.
Imagine you have tons of content. You don't know what's there in that content.
I mean, you only know what is written as a title or probably as a description.
But what if you would want to know more that, okay, what product are we showcasing?
What is coming when?
You know, you pass through this engine and you're good to go.
Would this help with, you know, being able to search through your library of video data?
Absolutely.
Like, hey, do we have any video of, like, hotel XYZ, you know, library of video data? Absolutely, big time. Like, hey, do we have any video of like hotel XYZ, you know, that sort of thing?
Absolutely, big time.
And so then you can go pull the video and you've got that cut.
Yeah, you just need to type in like a search, like a Google search.
You know, you just have to do that kind of search on the video library,
and it extracts all that and tells you this is what it is.
Wow, that's pretty amazing.
At this point in time in video.
This would be kind of interesting to use during like festivals like like giant festivals South by Southwest or
like Coachella yeah might be interesting being able to see what's trending
celebrities you know you because those are people who are really famous so you
can extract all that and create clips out of it saying okay this guy was here
between this and the second you know you would want to use that we can be like hey Brad Pitt was in the
audience we didn't even notice that but the automation picked it up that's
pretty cool yeah yeah so the applications are immense you know I mean
it's no end to where you can use it you know I'm often wonder about this because
you know I have to library my videos and I keep forever and sometimes you're like
where's that video that I
did and the one that was about the thing and you can't quite remember exactly what but you're like
I know the video I'm looking for but I can't remember and then sometimes like a lot of my
a lot of stuff is a photographer or camera and I am looking for the video data like you know like
I've had a good examples I've had friends pass away and i've been
like i have photos or video that i'd like to give to their to their survivors uh to share with them
and and it's been hard sometimes to go back through all the data and go like where where was
that time i hung out with that friend of mine and you know all that good stuff so this would be pretty cool yeah and from a from a tv broadcasting
tv show uh news broadcasting service this would be great because you always need like content
from different roles and like where is that where is it going imagine you know the way people do it
on twitter you know president trump said this and that yeah you know you can extract the clips and
say okay here it is that would be good to track all of the stuff.
I've seen people make cool videos
of all the weird stuff he says,
and you could put it into a YouTube video or something.
Funny.
All right, well, thanks for sharing that.
Was there anything more we need to know?
I think, I mean, it's the future.
The power that it brings is incredible,
and it can help you create Immersive experiences, you know help you bring out information which you can identify
Most definitely so be sure to check it out guys come to the NAV show 2019 look for in telemedia networks
You can find them at booth number SU8924
They're in the second floor on the far kind of south of the building in South Hall and
the middle.
So you can check these guys out, take a tour, check out some of this cool stuff.
We got a chance to sit down with their VR person over here and we got to put on some
of the Oculus, the Oculus, whatchamacallits, put those on and the VR things and be able to do it.
And pretty cool, nice little walkthrough.
Thank you.
Alright, thanks guys for tuning in.
We'll see you guys next time.
