She has a BS in multimedia technology and design from the University of Kent and an MA in marketing from Kingston University Business School. Her background has uniquely prepared her to become an entrepreneur in the digital marketing and e-commerce space. Following stints in executive roles at Group M and Astro, the leading consumer media and entertainment group in Southeast Asia,
Starting point is 00:03:22 she launched Purely Bee in 2015. She's a native of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Not sure if I got that right. Hopefully I did. I flunked second grade. Where she is, I didn't go to the school she went to. Where she is, that's why I'm a podcaster and she's not. And she is a descendant of the royal family that currently divides her time
Starting point is 00:03:43 as the CEO and co-founder of Purely Bee between Malaysia and Los Angeles, California. She might be a podcaster, though. We'll have to ask her. Welcome to the show. How are you? I'm good, Chris. Thank you for having me. Thank you for coming.

Starting point is 00:05:03 and we started in education in in really empowering sustainable, healthy living through education, really honoring Asian traditions and cultures, what we thought was lacking in a lot of the education that was out there. But today, we also revive and re-innovate ancient Malaysian health and beauty traditions. These were the natural medicine of our ancestors that use rare botanicals found deep within the Malaysian rainforest in really unique remedies that were passed on through generations. And we make them into easy to consume, delicious, refreshing superfood blends
Starting point is 00:05:39 for today's modern generation so that everyone today can benefit from these remedies and these traditions the way our ancestors did and that is something that nobody was doing in Malaysia and in Southeast Asia and there was a generation gap there was a danger of this ancient knowledge and wisdom these remedies that were the natural medicine back in the day of getting lost forever. And so we worked with the medical scientists and traditional herbalists to really preserve that, revive that, and then make it in a way that is appealing for today's generation. There you go.
Starting point is 00:06:15 For eons of times, our ancestors had all these different ways of dealing with stuff. And, you know, now we deal with, you know, we have these horrible multi-processed foods and everything else. And, you know, you can deal with, you know, we have these horrible multi-processed foods and everything else. And, you know, you can rub aloe on your skin if you get a sunburn. But if you try doing that with a quarter cheeseburger at McDonald's, it doesn't work as well. These ancient things are better. Now, you founded this company, I think, on a health journey for yourself. Tell us about your hero's journey through life and what got you here.
Starting point is 00:06:51 Yeah. So it's hard to pinpoint exactly how long ago I started having these long-term health issues, but I definitely was not born with them. I had developed allergies and intolerances to gluten, dairy, egg, wheat, and shellfish. And I remember it was probably my early 20s um i'm 40 right now so in my early 20s is when i discovered all these sort of symptoms i was getting without breakout and rashes every every week and it was like big red brushes on my face and i would have really bad digestion and constipation issues so i would get migraines every two days as a result because my body I've seen is very toxic and so I'd feel nauseous because you know you're you're completely blocked up and whatnot and at the same time I would feel really lethargic so everything was compounded and that was on a weekly basis on how I would feel and because I was on a weekly basis on how I would feel. And because I was always a workaholic, that I thought
Starting point is 00:07:48 it was like a sleep and stress and working hard. I did not think it was anything to do with a health issue until 2015. So in 2015, I did some tests and found out that I developed these allergies and that the root cause was that my lifestyle and my diet was so toxic that it triggered this. And over time, and my body's very sensitive, like everyone's individually very different. And I had to learn how to cut all that out, reset, clean up my diet, clean up my lifestyle, cut out processed foods because gluten and dairy is highly processed. Those are two things that I had developed reactions to and so my body was literally crying out for help so what I did was it took me a while I had to research a lot on how to clean up my diet my lifestyle living in Malaysia where a lot of the information was lacking here for this culture whatever's available on this side of the world
Starting point is 00:08:40 everything was in the west in the US and the uk so i learned from them and adapted it to my lifestyle here but also over and above that i went back to my heritage i learned from my grandparents my aunts from traditional healers and herbalists what did they consume because they're in tip-top health at the age of 90 and whatnot like i, I want to be like, I was at that time in my 30s and I'm feeling this way. What's your secret, right? And so going back to my heritage and really being able to learn more
Starting point is 00:09:13 about these ancient remedies that they had consumed for gut health, for skin, anti-aging, for brain health, overall immunity and energy, and being able to consume that because they had their special remedies. You don't just consume, let's say, turmeric on its own. That's a great herb, but on its own, it's not the best way. It's not the highest potency and efficacy level.
Starting point is 00:09:36 You have to drink it or consume it mixed with special other botanicals that bring out each other's effectiveness even stronger. That's a power blend. And that's what they all consumed. So I was able to get access to that. I was able to consume that while I was cleaning out my diet. And it was life changing. So in the first week of applying all of that, and I even started cooking because I don't
Starting point is 00:10:01 cook, but I was fascinated how to clean up my diet. And in that first week, all of my symptoms cleared up wow digestion was my rashes i did not have any breakouts and rashes that week my migraines cleared up and my energy was at an all-time high and at that time i had no intention of running a business. I was... You're just like, I'm healthy for the first time. I mean, I was head of digital marketing at this big media company. But when I went through this epiphany moment that week, because I had gone to see doctors, I did colonoscopy, I had done it all. Nothing worked for me but this within one week completely cleared everything up that it was almost it was so shocking that i couldn't ignore it that i needed to find a
Starting point is 00:10:54 way to make this knowledge that i had gained and this experience and share it with more people and there wasn't a single brand or platform that was advocating that sort of lifestyle change the way that I had gone through. And especially honoring the Asian cultures and traditions, like those remedies and whatnot. And if it didn't exist, I needed to create it. And so that was the start of the journey. And of course, I teamed up with health and wellness experts like natural doctors, medical scientists, nutritional healers and herbals, because I'm not an expert. I'm the target audience. And so I needed to combine our expertise to create this. There you go. You know, I feel your pain. I'm lactose intolerant and I never really had been big into milk and ice cream. I've never been just an ice cream person, which is interesting
Starting point is 00:11:42 because people advise me, they're like, you look like you ate half a gallon last night. Um, but, uh, I never drank milk for a lot of years. And then I started getting into weightlifting. And so I was drinking a lot of whey, which comes from milk. And I started just getting really sick and just, you know, really bad, just tearing up my gut and stuff. And I thought, well, you know, this is, this is the, you know, I'm weight, I'm lifting weights. So, you you know this is this is the you know i'm weight i'm lifting weights so you know this is part of the my body's just flushing or something and you know we make excuses yeah oh yeah but you know it becomes a point of nuclear uh fission that's going on in your in your in your uh underground system there uh in the bowels and and and you start going wait a second man there's milk in this.
Starting point is 00:12:25 And, and that's when I, I realized that I was severely milk toast tolerant. In fact, I'm so bad now that if I eat like a cookie that's got milk in it, it's Chernobyl around the house. It's pretty much clear the house. And, and so I've learned that, you know, that these things are real. But as we mentioned before in the show, and I think most of my own age knows, when I switched to live foods and vegan eats, there's 250 million variations of vegan eats. So I'll upset someone. But basically, I was eating more plants and live foods. And I lost 100 pounds in, what was it? Three to four months.
Starting point is 00:13:06 And people are like, what are you doing, Chris? And I'm just like, yeah, I'm just like, I quit eating and drinking all the pot. I couldn't eat all the crap, but you're a nice little salad and, you know, and, uh, everything else. So you, so now you've developed this into your company. Uh, you started in what? 2015, if I recall rightly? Yes, that's right.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Yeah, in 2015. But we started in education, as I mentioned, because when I went through that life-changing experience, my whole thought wasn't, I'm going to create a product, I'm going to sell it. My first thought was, I need to share the knowledge. And so creating a platform that was able to share that knowledge across nutrition, fitness, mental wellness, mindfulness, and overall wellness. And we only started selling products four years later. So only in 2019, did we launch our products because we had built a really strong community then. And part of why we launched in the US this year is because we started getting a following in the States as well. And we were getting not just to our community, but also buying our products when we launched it. So they would pay double the price to get it shipped from Malaysia there, plus pay customs and tax and whatnot.
Starting point is 00:14:18 So we started seeing a trend of people overseas in Europe, in the US, in Australia, doing that and buying regularly. We're like, okay, we need to start really actively expanding beyond our shores because our intent is to really benefit everyone globally with our Malaysian traditions and heritage and how this can help people's health naturally and beauty. So it's both health and beauty. Beauty. And that's in addition to what you get on the Chris Foss show.
Starting point is 00:14:49 We always tell our audience on like, what does this do for you? That's the marketing, you know. What does this do for me, Chris? I don't care what you have to say. What does this do for me? So we always tell, you know, you're going to be more beautiful, more intelligent, which they are, of course. And if they don't like that, well, they can come up with a class action lawsuit.
Starting point is 00:15:07 I was uglier because I listened to the Chris Voss show. No, you weren't. One thing that's interesting about your product, I'm looking at the product page, is you guys focus with this on gut health, your second brain. We've had a lot of authors, a lot of scientists on the show that have talked about this. Gut health is so important because if your gut's messed up, it causes brain swelling. It causes all sorts of stuff to go wrong. I mean, you just go off the rails. Yeah, yeah, exactly. And that was my big health issue.
Starting point is 00:15:40 I had very poor gut health, and that's why I developed all these allergies, intolerances, rashes, migraines, and all that. That was all because of my gut. And so, which I was not even aware of at the time. So the amount of lack of education around that, but at the same time, the solutions around that, how do you heal the gut naturally and how do you maintain that? Right. And so it's got to be something that is sustainable. And a lot of times it is a mixture of the two. I don't believe that you should just take a remedy or a supplement and that's it. I believe it has to be a lifestyle change as well. Like what you did, Chris, your diet.
Starting point is 00:16:17 It has to be both for it to be optimal. Otherwise, you're sort of balancing it out, right? You're basically stressing your gut with the foods that you eat and you're helping heal that with the supplements that you take and it's sort of it never reaches the optimal level and so that to us is really important and advocating the two ways it's about your lifestyle change as well as the supplements so what we found um with our best our first product that we launched is pagaga by purely b so that uses a 2000 year old herb from the malaysian rainforest called pagaga which is really well known for gut health
Starting point is 00:16:50 but also well known for skin repair anti-aging brain function slowing down alzheimer's all this is scientifically proven it's all the research papers on the web you can find um so it's one of those rare all-in-one um herbs so China, it was known as the miracle elixir of life and the fountain of you. Yeah. So this particular blend that we have is also mixed with papaya leaf, which is a natural digestive aid, as well as turmeric, which is anti-inflammatory, black cumin seed, green apples, and and dates so this special blend as i told you is like passed down through generations it's an ancient ancient remedy that we made into this easy you just mix it in water and drink it kind of form and this really number one function is
Starting point is 00:17:37 healing the gut and we've had customers where they had long-term constipation issues. I don't want to go into too much detail, but maybe I should. But they'd go once a month. Wow. Once a month, yeah. And after consuming, I mean, how do you live like that? I'd explode if I went more than once a day. But if you imagine living like that, you are immune to it you think that's normal so they've had i've had a few girlfriends that were very small and dainty and they would like every few days and i would look at them funny
Starting point is 00:18:15 like i don't know if i trust you when i go to sleep and that's every few days this is once a month yeah so what's going on there? Exactly. And so obviously the symptoms that they would feel, I mean, they'd feel horrible on a monthly basis, like bloating and everything. And after drinking our Pagaga drink, they would tell me after the first week, they would go every day. Wow. Yeah. And then ever since then, it'd be consistent.
Starting point is 00:18:45 So it's not like, you know, if you go take a laxative or whatnot, it'll be immediate. And then after that, it just clogs you up. I mean, it's a short-term sort of gain, and it affects you longer term in a negative way. Whereas this is actually healing your gut and will help you maintain that as you go along. So that is really, really key, I feel.
Starting point is 00:19:04 And so the second thing is skin because skin is linked to the gut. So a lot of people like myself, where we I had like rashes, breakouts all the time, or people have acne or like dull, uneven skin, a lot of it is linked to the gut, your diet and your poor gut health. So what we found is people after consuming this, after three weeks if they had like rashes breakouts or acne it would start clearing up and they would normally before this use all these topical you know skincare regime but that is not going to help because that's on the surface it's from the inside that's the root cause of why your skin is breaking out the way
Starting point is 00:19:40 that it is and you have to address that otherwise all those skincare products are only going to do so much so we would see that so our regular we have a monthly subscription our regular customers are those have digestion issues skin conditions or just have dull skin like they want to be radiant they want to have healthy skin or they want to be and like youthful because anti-aging is a key part of it. But that's not the gut health part. That is, pagaga naturally produces collagen in the body. And it's also skin regeneration and skin repair properties and whatnot. So it has that on its own, even without the gut health elements. So just in terms of beauty and skin, it's quite a powerhouse in that.
Starting point is 00:20:22 There you go. A mixture of everything. And what form does it come in? Is it like a powdered form that I can put in a shake? Powder. Ithouse in that. There you go. A mixture of everything. And what form does it come in? Is it like a powdered form that I can put in a shake? It comes in powder. Yeah. So you can put it in a smoothie, in a shake. You can put it in your granola cereal.
Starting point is 00:20:34 We even make it into cookies. We have something called pagaga cookies that we work with marginalized women in Malaysia to create. So we create jobs with them every month. So they earn an income and livelihood in baking these pegaga cookies that we sell to the community. Yeah, so there's so many ways you can consume it. And you can get all the benefits in an interesting way.
Starting point is 00:20:55 It's not just, you know, it's good. Yeah. Hey, whichever one of you work with that makes the best tasting cookies, can you find out if she's single? No, I'm just kidding. My local... No, I moved to Malaysia. If I can find if she's single? No, I'm just kidding. Did you move to Malaya? No, I moved to Malaya.
Starting point is 00:21:08 I'm finding a woman who makes great cookies. Like my grandmother. My grandmother makes great cookies. There's a farm that we have down the road that I get all my fresh food from. It's a locally sourced farm. It's a hydroponic farm. It runs year-round.
Starting point is 00:21:22 The quality food that you taste from them is like yeah 10 times different it's it's way better quality but they they make cookies over there and i half the time i just go over there and they're like are you gonna buy any more stuff chris i'm like i just can't we're gonna get a cookie um so you have another product i think tiger milk mushroom tell us about that yeah so tiger milk mushroom is very, very rare. It's a 400-year-old mushroom that's found also deep within the Malaysian rainforest. It's what we really try and focus on.
Starting point is 00:21:54 And that is specifically for lung health, anti-inflammation, immunity, and energy as well. It naturally produces energy in your body But where the specific Powerhouse benefits are Is it helps if people have got Sinus, asthma, cough, cold Flu, bronchitis Long COVID, during COVID This was like a nerve wreck
Starting point is 00:22:18 For a lot of people Where they would come to me and say Jess, my symptoms Are horrible, I just got COVID, what would you recommend? where they would come to me and say, Jess, my symptoms are horrible. I just got COVID. What would you recommend? And I said, okay, definitely take tagimut mushroom. And when they consume it, they would recover within a day.
Starting point is 00:22:35 And so I know it was crazy. So we worked with the scientists, really renowned. They're the pioneer scientists behind this mushroom. They spent 20 years in research on this specific mushroom tagamot mushroom and it's amazing because it was really the cure for our former Prime Minister 20 years ago that spurred the research when he had a chronic cough he's 90 year old 90 years old today and he really really talked about it in the media. He said, this was recommended to me by a scientist.
Starting point is 00:23:08 Why is there not enough research behind it? Because this cured my chronic cough. And so it was sort of crazy around that, that nobody had done substantial enough research. So 20 years ago, that's when it all started. And since then, all these clinical trials and so on have run around this tiger mushroom that's found only in malaysia you can only find it in the malaysian rainforest you'll have we'll find one mushroom growing every 10 kilometers unlike other mushrooms that you'll find growing in schools
Starting point is 00:23:34 it's so unique in that way um and so our our product we make it in a way where it's almost like pixie sticks where you can tear it open and you drink it straight. So this is a tiger milk. So you've got sachets inside. And when you take it straight, it melts in your mouth. It's like sour candy. Because we mix it with elderberry and red grapes. Kids are addicted to it. When I went to the US and went to events, people were like, oh my god, it's like candy. But it takes them back to their childhood. But at the same time, it doesn't feel artificial because it's only natural sugars from the elderberry and the red grapes.
Starting point is 00:24:13 That's the sour candiness that you're getting. And it helps to combine with the tiger mushroom so you don't taste a mushroom taste of it. And in terms of the tiger milk mushroom, ours is an extract form so that you don't need a lot. That's why you only need a small sachet. You only need that small amount to get the benefits for. Let's say someone who has, you know, trouble recovering from a cough, cold or flu, or wants to prevent it longterm or someone who suffers from
Starting point is 00:24:43 sinus and can't sleep properly at night and whatnot it helps so much for me specifically i don't i don't have problems of asthma sinus anything like that but i had problems of allergies as i told you and so sometimes i would break out um in rashes here and there if i eat a bunch of gluten dairy egg wheat red meat all in one shot then i still would get those reactions a little bit and i would also have like a runny nose and gluey kind of symptoms i started taking tiger milk mushroom consistently every day i don't get those symptoms anymore and i don't even need zyrtec you know sometimes you need zyrtec on a standby and antihistamine and i would need to do that sometimes if the symptoms get bad i just need a zyrtec so i can recover fast and when i tested out the tagamon mushroom blend for the
Starting point is 00:25:35 first time and i had eaten all those things because i was supporting a cousin's restaurant opening and i was like i'm just gonna eat it anyway and support him i didn't need a zyrtec and i just waited to see i was like okay just let the symptoms come and let me see what this tiger mushroom did and i didn't get any other symptom that was the moment i said we need this product and so that because i have to be a true testament to everything that we do so i work with the scientists the traditional healers and herbalists, but I need to test it out for myself, and then I can be a real genuine testimony and advocate, and why I'd be so passionate about bringing it to the market. I'll have to run it by my mom. My mom has really bad asthma and allergies, and she struggles with her asthma a lot, so I'll have to run it by her, and a tiger milk mushroom, this has been a rare edible mushroom.
Starting point is 00:26:26 That's been, uh, it's just native to Southeast Asia, South China, Malaysia, but only found in Malaysia. Yeah. Oh, really? Where's the topics? Pagaga is found in the tropics, India, Thailand, Indonesia, but tiger mushrooms, only Malaysia. So the funny thing is when I came to the U.S. and I was meeting a lot of brands, they would – and a lot of them were doing mushroom products.
Starting point is 00:26:50 So they had products that was everything, lion's mane, turkey tail, ashwagandha, you name it, they have it. The one mushroom they did not have was Tiger Mountain mushroom. But they knew about it. They knew about it because they were experts. So they knew how powerful it was, what it was good for. So the moment they knew that I had Tagamot mushroom, they're like,
Starting point is 00:27:09 we need to work together. And so then they would try the product, they would research it. And so with a couple of these brands, we're actually launching co-branded products together because they really want Tagamot mushroom for their, for their customers in the community. And they want to do a special limited edition co-branded
Starting point is 00:27:32 um product for a limited launch yeah yeah according to google they've even used it for stomach cancer breast cancer gastritis yeah and we did clinical trials in breast cancer um in the hospital for that yeah so it helped with recovery um people who had asthma and they were in and out of hospitals like your mom. I don't know how chronic her condition is. Pretty chronic. But for these people who tested, like they were in and out of hospitals, heavily reliant on their inhalers. And after consuming this every day for a year, because it is natural. It's not something overnight that you suddenly, oh, my God, I'm cured.
Starting point is 00:28:01 For a year, no longer needed their inhalers and no longer in and out of hospitals i remember meeting this woman she's a 55 year old teacher and she was saying now i have a life because before this she really didn't she was hospitalized all the time i know it's crazy and so we worked with the medical scientists um in this university in malaysia where they dedicated their research towards it and they spent five years in in developing patented technology so that we could have it in extract form that makes it even more powerful. And that's the one that we did clinical trials on. So that's why it's even more effective than just the raw powder.
Starting point is 00:28:36 This is good to know. There was a TikTok or something I got on one day and it was a channel that talks about all these different mushrooms and they go mushroom hunting. And they talk about all these different mushrooms and they go mushroom hunting and they talk about all the all these variations of mushrooms some are like really dangerous and and yes you have to be cautious yeah yeah and some of them have like really interesting healing toxins some can you know you know send you on a nice little trip and yeah it's just amazing like you know we've had these natural products around forever yet uh like i said i tried rubbing big macs on my wounds and it didn't help have you tried the 30-day big mac diet it's uh here it's uh i don't know the fast track to
Starting point is 00:29:17 to coronary yeah yeah the one guy had a heart attack that did it yeah exactly exactly yeah but exactly these these are all the botanicals or the herbs these are powerful forces of nature that was the medicine or the beauty treatments or whatever it may be we didn't have we didn't have botox we didn't have drugs we didn't have all these pharmacies back in the day. Do you know what I mean? So what do people turn to? They turn to nature. But a lot of it is lost or mixed with some chemicals. You know, some people talk about products where it's got a mix of nature, but they've got all these chemicals in it.
Starting point is 00:29:56 And to me, it just doesn't make sense. Like, if you're going to go back to nature to get it in its most optimal form, it's got to be completely natural. Once you mix it with chemicals and whatnot, it affects the efficacy and potency of that herb so you're already not getting it in its optimal way so yeah you really need to educate yourself in the product that you're buying really see what the ingredients are there um if they say natural organic are they truly because i think that makes a lot of difference yeah plus you guys are sourcing it right there from the source yes yes we work with marginalized farmers the way it's harvested so important it took us a long time they're very strict requirements and how it needs to be grown to get it in its that all those medicinal properties i talked about if you're really
Starting point is 00:30:39 going to get it you can't just buy it in the market and then juice it yourself because it actually has to be grown a specific way and it has to be harvested a specific way and then it's all in the root so a lot of things that you buy in the in the market or whatnot it doesn't come in the root they chop it off you have the stem and the leaves but most of the medicinal properties are on the root um so all of these things uh is really important that when we spread education about it and then it's also part of our ips our our intellectual property is not just the recipe or the formulation that's been passed down to generations but also the way it's harvested so the only specific farms that we could work with we had to train them on how to do it tell them the requirements and then we will work with them in Malaysia, in Thailand, and India, across Asia, to really make sure that end-to-end the process is up to the quality
Starting point is 00:31:30 and the standards that we need for this to be a great product for consumer health. There you go. Now, they need to order it from you guys on your website. This is something you can't pick up off Amazon. Is that correct? Amazon, you will in the next month or so. Definitely by end of November, you will be able to on Amazon. But right now, you can buy it on our website, and we offer free shipping in the U.S.
Starting point is 00:31:56 if you spend at least $70 and above. And we have a special code for you and your listeners, Chris, for 10% off. Yes. So it's just wellness, for 10% off. Yes. So it's just Wellness10 and 10% off for everyone. Wellness10. We'll put that in. Is the 10 connected to the wellness? No spaces?
Starting point is 00:32:15 No spaces. That's right. No spaces. Okay. So we'll put that code. It'll be on the Chris Voss Show website with the link on their website too. And so this is really interesting. I'm all for more healthiness. I take some mushroom supplements right now. I don't
Starting point is 00:32:32 think these are in them. It's kind of like some basic ones. I've always been kind of curious. I really should look into mushrooms more and kind of understand them. Yeah, it's fascinating. I should just share the name. It's nothing to do with a tiger and it's nothing to do with milk. There's no milk in there.
Starting point is 00:32:51 It's called tiger's milk mushroom because the folklore is 400 years ago where the indigenous communities would find these rare mushrooms sprouting from the ground in the forest is where the female tigress, where her milk would drop onto the soil. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:33:07 And that's the full blow. How did I miss that joke that went by me, like the scene from the Fockers movie, where who went out and milked the tiger? Meet the Fockers joke. Yes, I remember that. Yeah, yeah so i that joke went right but i didn't even think of the setup wow i must be i know my comedy game that went right by me i'm like wait so you have somebody go out and milk a tiger well that's some stuff right there
Starting point is 00:33:39 uh i'll marry the gal who does that uh over there and the cook makes the cookies. Well, you definitely need to move to Asia then. Pretty much, probably. I probably do. I mean, everybody over here is hooked on sugar and Botox and McDonald's. Oh, no, no, no. It's not healthy. If you've seen us lately, I mean, we, we weigh so much here in America, uh, with our high BMIs that we, uh, I think we've altered the, the way the rotation of the earth is and gravity. I
Starting point is 00:34:12 don't know. I don't know. So I'm just making up stuff. Um, so this is, this is great. And we've learned a lot about these wonderful things. Uh, any final things we haven't talked about with you and your company that we need to, uh, make sure um no i think i think it pretty much covered everything um i think for anyone who wants to try we have starter sizes um because sometimes people like i'm not sure how it'll taste because these are natural herbs and fruits in the natural and from the rainforest and we have the starter size and sachets so we have all of that for you to give it a try but i think you'll be pleasantly surprised how delicious the rainforest can actually taste and the kind of remedies that we've created them in there you go i you know i just throw i have like 50 000 supplements i take for working out you know all this testosterone
Starting point is 00:34:58 crap and so i just throw in all the giant shake and i have to sweeten it up some hydration stuff and then drink it down. And some of the stuff I take is really awful. I mean, it's really bad. Yeah, see, that's the thing. Yeah. So we found when people consume ours, they're like, oh, wow. They're like, it tastes really good because I think they're affected by other products that they tasted that are horrible, but they accept it.
Starting point is 00:35:19 That already that's the expectation that all these natural supplements will taste that way. Yeah, there you go. If you take care of your body, your body will love you. And when it loves you, you feel better. Like I work better. I'm more focused. I've got more energy. I sleep better.
Starting point is 00:35:38 You know, the days of drinking vodka and eating just, I mean, I would eat fast food like three to four times a day and just junk, you know, bags of potato chips and all this crap. Now you feel your smug-ish brain fog, all of that. Oh, yeah, yeah. And now, you know, I encourage everybody. I go to a local farm, and there's three or four farms here locally here in Utah. And there's one down the block from me.
Starting point is 00:36:07 Thank God. And they do hydroponic stuff. And I got to tell you that the tomatoes that you get, the, the leaves, you know, I'll buy, if I buy a head of lettuce,
Starting point is 00:36:17 it looks dead when you bring it home from the store and the grocery store is there. And you know, it's from, it's from, it's from, you know, somewhere around the globe. They've used different, like with, I know with tomatoes,
Starting point is 00:36:31 they'll use methane gas to blow on them to get them to ripen faster. So they force ripen them. Right, right. And you eat the fruits and vegetables you get from your local farm, and it's 10 times, maybe 100 times different. The taste is there. I'm old enough to remember what it's like to eat on a farm, so the taste is there.
Starting point is 00:36:56 The food lasts longer. My lettuce will last two weeks, where if you don't eat that head of lettuce from the grocery store in America, within a few days, it's like, it is America, I think you're dead in a few days. We're rushing it, man. It just makes all the difference, and your body will respond to you if you start listening to it. Eating more healthy, eating supplements like what your guys is doing,
Starting point is 00:37:19 all these great herbs, your body's just like, Hey, man, we like you now. We're going to keep you. Yeah, yeah. And you'll feel better than you did in your younger years. I'm sure you feel that way, Chris, right? I probably feel better from all aspects of my life. And I probably got more energy and just, you know, I don't have anything to drive me anymore. It used to be 10 to 15 Mountain Dews.
Starting point is 00:37:42 But the only thing that drives my energy now other than eating better is coffee. You need to try a Fagago. We've got customers that say it gives them a buzz that they don't need their coffee anymore. Oh, really? We'll give it a try. I kind of need it without my coffee. It's a little out of control.
Starting point is 00:38:05 Yeah, not so good for you. Yeah, I mean, everything's good in moderation, but if you take too much of it, there you go. So any final thoughts? Give us your pitch as we go out and your dot com. No, so I mean, for me, I definitely echo the sentiments that Chris is saying. I think it's
Starting point is 00:38:25 really, really important to go back to nature. And when I say that, it's even in terms of the whole foods, the diet, not just the remedies and the herbs that you're taking. What you think you're feeling now, if you're not doing that already, what you think you're feeling now is not the optimal of what you are capable of feeling and the optimal level that your health can be if you don't start there's no such thing as starting too late and i think for me i started only in my 30s and now in my 40s and i feel better than ever i'll be around people who think i'm still in my 20s because i'm amongst other startup entrepreneurs and they think we're all the same age i'm like oh no i'm double your age. But energy level-wise, everything that I radiate, they think I'm in their age group.
Starting point is 00:39:11 And it's a big testament into my diet and my lifestyle. What I'm consuming, what I'm eating, like, I feel amazing, mind, body, and soul. But if I didn't start cleaning out my diet, cutting out processed foods, going back to whole foods, nature, knowing what I'm putting into my body and consuming these remedies, I would not be where I am today. And I think we all owe it to ourselves to really take care of our bodies and our health the way you said, Chris. And we'll, at the age of 90, we're going to be feeling like how we're feeling today still. I mean, I look at my grandma and I was like, tell me a secret. And I'm so glad that we're able to bottle that secret and give it to everybody worldwide.
Starting point is 00:39:49 There you go. And I'm glad you got started when you were young. And, you know, I tell people now, don't be like me. Don't wait till I was in my late 40s before I started cleaning up my act. And I swear to God, in your 50s, you can feel everything you did. You can feel every way you beat up your body for 40 50 years and so you know well i i feel like i'm you know pretty good recovery and my health is going well and stuff don't wait don't try and dial turn back the the the clock
Starting point is 00:40:20 uh if you could turn back time don't try and do that. Take care of yourself now. Get healthy now. Stop eating the crap. You will thank you and your body will thank you. And just the way you feel, just like every day. Exactly. That's priceless. Priceless. There you go. Nailed it on the head.
