See a show 2025.
I should mention for those of you watching this broadcast years from now, as you
tend to do on the, our YouTube is only 18 years old.
That's all.
So today we're talking with a exhibitor who will be at Eureka park and you'll be
able to check out some of their really cool technology.
We'll get into some of the details and what they're building
and how they're bringing innovation in the future to CES and to your life as well.
We'll be talking today with MyFirst.Tech.
That's their website.
The company is G-Lite.
And we'll be talking with GJ.
GJ, welcome to the show.
How are you?
Hi, everyone. Nice to meet you meet you pleasure to have you as well so give us a doc we did the dot tech right is there any other places
people need to look you guys up on the interwebs yep at the moment you just visit my first dot tech
my first dot tech so give us a 30 000 overview what you guys do there? Wow. Yeah, my first SG is a KidsTag brand,
which we create a different kind of KidsTag product for kids.
We try to bring kind of like all the tag products that adults have,
like growing up, right?
We have all the technology products like smartphones, Bluetooth headsets,
et cetera, cameras and stuff.
So we try to redesign all these things actually for the kids.
Ah, so it's targeted towards children?
Yep, targeted towards children.
It's got multi-colors and different fun sort of looking products, as it were?
Yep, you're right.
We have some wearable smartphone, a watch, but it's actually a smartphone that can make
phone calls, video calls.
We also have like digital cameras and other products that cater for the kids.
Kind of redesign some things that are safer and more suitable for the kids.
Ah, safer for the kids.
It looks like the concept of MyFirst is basically giving them their first access to certain pieces of technology.
Do I assume that correctly?
Yep, you're right.
So the brand name is quite straightforward.
It's just MyFresh.
So we have like different product categories, like my first camera, my first phone, my first 3D pen, my first headphones, etc.
That's cool, man.
Technology for the kids and it's fun colored and fun sort of factor built into design, as it were.
So kids can have fun with it and also learn new technology.
You know, when I was growing up, before they came out with technology,
they would just give us, as kids, a box of razor blades and broken glass
and tell us to play in it.
Yeah, that's true.
But after going to the ER multiple times, they stopped doing that, I guess.
I don't know what's going on.
But I feel ripped off that I didn't have all these fun things
when I was a kid.
What's that about?
So when we were young,
we used film cameras.
And now when we're grown-ups,
we use digital cameras.
While the kids don't have such thing in the markets.
So the inspiration came from my daughter.
When she's pretty young,
she's two years old.
I use DSLR, a Canon DSLR.
I take photo for hers. And she kind of wanted take my heavy dsr to take photo for me i got like 5 000 pounds it's a heavy
camera yeah you know and it's expensive too you're right i worry she drop it herself or my few
thousand bucks are gone right yeah yeah yeah i've I've had about $10,000 or $20,000 worth of lenses and stuff from Canada.
I tried to research online and try to get her cameras.
I couldn't find any decent one.
Probably something that I can find is just plastic cameras with sound and light.
Yeah.
I don't think that I'm using a DSLR and she deserves just a plastic toy.
So that's how actually we came up the ideas of coming out of a decent
digital camera for the kids.
And eventually we found out something like this.
It's a dual lens with a front and rear selfie lens.
It's cute.
It looks sort of fun.
It's more funner than my Canon.
I think it's pretty decent.
You can print up to like the photos at the back.
Oh, so you can print the photos out.
You can print the photos out, which you can take by the cameras.
It comes with 16 megapixels.
Wow, so they can have fun with their friends and all that good stuff.
Yeah, I might.
I'm not that great a photographer.
I'd probably take better pictures with your technology than I do with the Canon.
The Canon is so high- of, it kind of highlights
all my flaws.
It's because I have sex
and photography.
So along the way,
we designed more products.
Like,
we found out the kids
want to call their moms
and call me.
And we found that
mobile phones,
the smartphone is not
so suitable for the kids.
They might drop it
or might be addicted
to it.
Oh, yeah.
I mean,
now those iPhones
are like $1,500 bucks or something aren't they
and also they might just keep watching the youtube yeah and play games so we kind of created like a
wearable smartphones that they can uh they can call us contact us and we also have gps tracking
we know where are they and even the contact that not everyone actually can call to watch because we have a widely systems
that the parents got to approve the contact which is creating a safe environment for the kids and
parents to to stay connected lots of fun there lots of fun the and i imagine they they probably
survive a couple drops at the very least i know those iphones don't do well throw it away and it's drop proof yeah don't worry
oh yeah totally man totally yeah so it's crazy what we guys have now now is there ai built into
some of this oh yeah it's of course the trend is ai right now and when we start to have a normal
cameras which is five years ago we started started this kind of cameras. And when the AI came out, we designed new cameras that come with AI systems.
These pretty decent cameras that push a larger screen.
And you can take photos and videos through these cameras.
Right after you take the photos and videos, you can choose the content and you can talk
to the device.
What?
Like here, you can just press and hold.
You can talk to the device.
What you want. I'm having an interview right now in LA, blah, what, like here, you can just press and hold. You can talk to the device, what you want.
I'm having an interview right now in LA, blah, blah, blah.
You can just use different content.
You talk to the device, how is your feeling.
After that, you can just post to the server,
and it will actually compile everything into music videos.
Based on your email, you know what kind of emotion you have,
what kind of feeling you have, kind of feeling you have and we'll choose a suitable songs to match every content together become like a music video oh wow probably
play a bunch of sad songs on my video why doing nothing pictures are lame he takes pictures of
his espresso machine he's so sad anyway i just got an espresso machine, so I've been filming the espresso coming on, prepping espresso.
And everybody on Facebook is, you have no life, do you?
That's how it works.
But no, kids are having fun.
So they have all this fun technology.
Looking over the website, there is, you have a voice speaker, microphone, and wireless speaker.
They have Care Buds, so you can have the, you know, like the Apple Buds, Sketch Pro Neo.
That's a Care Buds.
The camera, the phone, watch, it's all in one wearable smartwatch, so they can start recording their runs and heartbeats early on.
That's always important.
3D pen artist, so you can do STEM learning.
You can STEM learning.
And I guess maybe it's supposed to encourage
maybe some of that STEM learning, maybe.
Yep.
So there's some 3D pens that you can draw
to become like a 3D object.
It's pretty simple.
You just draw it out and it forms like that.
There's a doodle frame, frame doodle, something like that.
Yeah, we have quite a lot of different frame products,
a display screen, a photo frame that you can see different photos.
Oh, wow.
Oh, so it will play like the photos from the camera and stuff?
Yeah, so you can post the photos that you're taking from the cameras.
So the photos you can take actually from our cameras
and also from the watches.
And you can actually post to the safe social circles
and you will share among all the devices,
like the frames, the cameras,
also on your mobile phones.
Oh, wow.
It's kind of all-inclusive in the thing.
And I imagine you can watch stuff and listen to it on your dealio there.
So you've got to have a whole ecosystem of different things
that kids can play with.
Yep.
Then if they break it, is it fairly expensive?
Do you want to give me some price ranges maybe on it?
No, it's pretty decent price.
We have $199 for the watches.
It's much cheaper than an iPhone. It's much cheaper than an iPhone.
It's much cheaper than an iPhone.
And it also has the cameras.
And everything is within $100, plus minus.
Wow.
Now, some of the stuff runs on a SIM card, I guess.
So they have access to Wi-Fi.
You can maybe figure out where your kids
at sometimes if you ever lose them yeah so for cameras around on wi-fi and a watch is running on
lte e-sim so you come with connectivities and you need to put in the sim cards because it's
built in easy like this the kids can partake in the technology without the expense of you know
you're like hey what happened to the samsung i gave you
it was fifteen hundred dollars i gave it to a friend oh okay i dropped it in the sand and
you know whatever i don't know and even all toilet and now it doesn't work in the toilet
so even if come with music functions so you can pair with our, our CareBuds, which is wireless headphones, they can actually use this to listen to
the music and we also built in some safety features, you know, when you plug
into the earbuds, you might not aware of the environment sound, especially
it's quite risky, dangerous for the kids.
If they're walking the street, some bicycle might bump into them.
So what we did is we added some some sensor motion sensors that we detect when the kids are moving we actually fit the noise
from our sites to the music kind of like automatically turn on the transparency mode
that fit the environment sound to to to to the headphones oh i like I like that. That sounds very cool. No, I kind of like increase the safety for the kids to aware of the environment.
That sounds pretty cool.
Yeah, you got to have the, I forget what they call it.
There's noise canceling and then there's-
And transparency.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
But what are some other technologies you guys are utilizing in the me we haven't talked
about?
You mean the whole systems?
Or any place, anything we haven't touched on that we want to tease out there to people.
Oh, we do have some printing cameras that come with instant print.
Oh, you can print right out of them?
It's just a Polaroid that you can just take a photo of.
Polaroid's still alive.
It's one of the hit products during these Christmas seasons
in Walmart and stuff. It's still alive. It's one of the hit products during these Christmas seasons in Walmart and stuff.
It's quite cool.
You guys are going to be displaying at a booth there at Eureka Park.
Do you guys know the booth number off the top of your head by chance?
We are actually located at 54542 in Venetians Expo.
It's a level up on top of Eureka Park.
You'll be above Eureka Park.
As we go out, tell people final thoughts.
Tell them how they can come by the booth
to get to know you guys more, what website to go
to and all that good stuff.
Yep, definitely. See us
in Vegas.
Las Vegas.
Yeah. As they say.
And so people can check you guys
out there. They can go to myfirst.tech
and learn more about the cool stuff you guys have there and what are some of the are you looking for retails just places
to place the products is that what you're doing there at cs you're looking for investors you're
looking for i don't know other people that you can do technology with so we are currently with
some of the retailers in in the state best by walmart and samscar and of So we are currently with some of the retailers in the state, Best Buy,
Walmart, and Sam's Club.
And of course, we are still looking for
more retail partners to work
together to launch more products to
the markets.
That's what we are trying to do.
We do have some art and craft products,
quite suitable for the
bookstores, stationary shops,
and we also have wearable smartphones catered for the bookstores, stationary shops. And we also have wearable smartphones
catered for the carriers.
And we're also launching some new technologies.
Like we launched a new watch in the CES shows.
They're coming with higher-end technologies
and more features.
And also start to have pre-orders right now
in our website. And yeah, we start to have pre-orders right now in our website.
And yeah,
we wish to actually meet others
to discuss more
about our new technologies
and new products
and also explain
the whole ecosystems
that how we link the families
from the children's
to the parents
as well as the grandparents.
Oh,
that sounds pretty fun.
So,
cool stuff you guys have going on there. Cool stuff so we kind of like using this device to allow the kids to create content
and from there actually they can share the contents it's videos photos as well as editing
of the photos and videos and the grandparents can actually see them on a much larger screen, like a photo frame.
Oh, okay.
It's to the device.
And for parents,
they can use their smartphones to actually assess to the circles.
Can I have the smartphone?
So what we do is there's like applications here.
So you can actually,
it's kind of like a hybrid of Instagram.
Oh, it's got the feed from the kids.
Yeah, there's a feed here.
You can see all the images
and photos.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
And of course,
there will be also
like group chats
that you can do
with your friends.
Family chat.
Yep.
And it's probably
a much safer place
than Facebook, right?
Or Instagram.
Definitely.
Because they'll be
getting weird messages from strangers.
Because every context
needs to be approved by the parents.
And even that, you can
choose who you want to share
the content to. You can share the
content to just your family, your best
friends, or your
friends. I like that.
It's really scary that
when kids get on instagram or facebook
and usually right away they start getting hit up by weirdos and and stuff yeah so that's that's
quite crazy right so because of that we we kind of create a safe social circles for the kids
you know yeah that's pretty awesome they can share all their stuff and they can get their first
their first taste of technology
without being caught up in some of the bad stuff.
Something that's safer for them to start with
or more suitable for them,
more rugged, more durable
and features that too much of entertainment
we might remove.
There's no games,
but they'll still be teaching them
how to stay connected
or be social with their friends connected or be a bit social
with her friends but not not a bit too much yep i like that i mean it's really important it's you
know my my my brother his two kids he had really he didn't want them anywhere near instagram or
facebook he and all that he didn't trust them I think he waited till they're like 12 or 13
before they finally got him to relent.
But, you know, this is something where kids
can have a much safer sort of access
and, you know, they don't have to worry
about a bunch of weirdos on the internet.
Yeah, but you know, even we don't allow them
to assess like the Facebook or Instagram,
but among the family members, we still hope to actually keep in touch with them.
The grandparents hope to actually know what the grandson's doing, how is the updates.
And this platform becomes pretty good options for them so that they can post their updates,
update some of their moments, and create some video content as well.
Yeah.
I blocked my grandma off Instagram a long time ago.
Really?
Yeah, she's trolling my posts.
She's pretty mean.
She's like, you look stupid in that hat.
You know, that sort of thing.
She's not a nice grandma.
I'm just kidding.
I don't have a grandma like that.
So everyone should check you guys out at the CES show 2025
down there in Eureka Park.
And they can check you guys out at the CES show 2025 down there in Eureka park. And they can check you guys out at my first.tech website.
That's my first.tech.
