Hi folks, Chris Voss here from the chrissvossshow.com. We're here at the OWC booth, Other World Computing, and we're here with the president. How's it going, Jennifer? It's going really well, Chris, thank you. Cool, cool. So you guys are in Central Hall. We are. Right in the kind of south middle part of Central Hall, right in front of the doors. So be sure to come by if you guys get a chance at NAB 2019 so you guys got some really cool new products tell us about what you guys got going on here sure we have some refreshes of our Jupiter line we just refresh this it is of course newer faster latest Intel 2666 memory so definitely screaming this is actually

screaming screaming this is a new product actually it's gonna be available later in the quarter but we look at this you know it can support six users so network storage it's gonna be maybe in the 5k range for 70 terabytes so definitely and really a nice cool level you guys take a check for that? Sure. From you, for sure. Sure. I don't know if you... So this thing looks awesome.

I mean, look how big this is. This thing looks bad. Oh, yeah. I think I just want to have this in my living room just because it's got cool lights. Nice conversation face. Yeah, like... Cool blue aluminum. I'll just be like, I don't know what it does, but it looks really freaking cool.

You can pop them out. Yeah. I can pretend. So this is awesome so this is uh what kind of company is going to want this and use this what's your end user pretty much where we are today okay people that have huge video production files photo files uh they want to be able to safely store all their stuff and uh make sure that nothing happens to it. Then people of course can network through here, share these, all that sort of good stuff. Exactly.

Cool, cool. And so, do you guys have the video editing software for this, or is this just for the storage part? Really we focus on the storage part, so you can kind of bring your own. So you bring your own video editing software, you don't have to use your guys'. They can just hook everything up and away they go.

Absolutely. Awesome. So how many storage bays do we have here? Or is this? Well, this is a 16 bay unit. Okay. So the math on that is? Depends on the drive.

Ah, okay. So it depends on how big your hard drives are and your SSDs and stuff? Thanks for the rescue on that one. That's a lot of video. It's a lot. Of course, at 4K or, you know, what's coming to 8K.

Or VR. VR, VR's crazy. We love the VR guys. Yeah, so I'm sure they love you guys too. So anything more we need to know about the Jupiter? These, that's really the two big points is that we've refreshed the existing line where we have Callisto and Core,

and then these will be available later this quarter. That's awesome, that's awesome. You guys make such great products. You guys have something other that's exciting over here. I saw this on the website. Alright so the other cool thing we're looking at is the Thunder Bay that you guys are promoting here and your Thunder Blade. So tell us about what that is and how it works. I mean the Thunder Bay 4 has been in use. Very popular product. So this is its bigger brother, the Thunder Bay 6. Obviously, the 6. Thunder Bay.

Dun, dun, dun, dun. And so obviously, that's going to be great for large storage requirements. What is a soft raid? This looks pretty hard. I know. Soft raid is our secret weapon. Secret weapon?

It's essentially utilizing software to manage the raid. Obviously, it runs a lot faster. Our rebuilds are significantly faster than hardware. Another big aspect, especially for this audience or anybody that really relies on your storage for their livelihood, they could be anywhere, is that as long as you have it on your computer, if something were to go wrong with the enclosure, hopefully won't, but if it does, you can connect the drives in any way and they will still, the RAID will be intact. Wow. So unlike a hardware RAID box where you better find that exact box, it

gives you that flexibility in the event that something kind of bad happens. I've had that before. It's not fun. It's not cool. And last but not least, we got a chance to see one of the coolest products OWC is running out with this year. They have the Thunder Blade and the Envoy Pro X. So the Thunder Blade is really, really cool and really cool looking.

It looks like kind of a little demon on your desk. This thing is super fast. It'll give you data transfer speeds up to 2,800 millibytes per second, capacities up to 8 TB. You can daisy chain up to six Thunderbolt 3 devices. It's got rugged portability and sleek design and includes custom fit ballistic hard shell case hubba hubba And it comes with the owc's three-year limited warranty. The other cool product there is the envoy pro x Basically, it's a rugged sort of drive you can take with you Uh, and it's bus powered lightning fast external ssd and you can pour it's portable

You know anywhere you want to take and go with it uh what I like to throw outside kind of gives it a little bit of impact protection um you know I mean you don't want to ever slam your thing down but if you accidentally have those things happen there you go so it's got a really cool sort of design to it you plug it in with USB-C and away you go and you can pretty much take it anywhere and be able to have this with you it's really easy to carry in the palm of your hand and it's extremely fast of 2500 megabytes per second and Wow 40 gigabytes per second bandwidth offered by the Thunderbolt 3 interface that's in there So really really cool what you can do and of course you save a lot of great data on here depending on the size You get and everything else. So I go by
