Starting point is 00:00:00 Hi folks, Chris Voss here from thechrisvossshow.com. Hey, welcome to another episode of the podcast. We are covering CES 2020. Holy crap. We are here at the Trifo booth at the Sands A-D Hall. It's a booth number 42541. And we're here with the CEO and President Joe. How are you doing, bud?
Starting point is 00:00:20 Good, good. Good, good. Thanks for having us. Good, good. So you guys have several of these original AI home robots, I guess, here. Tell us about what they are and what you're doing. Yeah, so TriFold was founded in early 2016. So we are building the AI home robot.
Starting point is 00:00:37 So we feel robot can be an AIoT hub, connect the people with your home environment. So here at CES, we are announcing LUCY, the high-end smart robot vacuum, which we feel is the AI home robot. Awesome. And you guys have quite a few different selections of things you're launching here. They're beautiful looking. And of course, I love smart home robots. I have a bunch in the house,
Starting point is 00:01:01 and they clean up after the dogs and all that stuff. Well, they don't fully clean up after the dogs. I'm still waiting for the pooper scooper one. But if it finds poop, it will scoop it in a way. So anyway, you guys have one that has AI in it. So tell us about why that makes you guys kind of different. Yeah, so we are announcing Lucy. It's very powerful.
Starting point is 00:01:22 It has a six-core ARM processor. It has super sensing cameras, 1 HD color camera, announcing LUCY it's very powerful it has a six core arm processor it has a super sensing cameras one HD color camera and the others active depth camera so LUCY can detect and avoid obstacles so it's smartly navigate around it second it recognize the room so it has the concept of rooms so it can detect a bedroom or a living room, and then you can clean, you know, correspondingly. And third, you can do video surveillance both day and night.
Starting point is 00:01:51 It's very convenient for the user to use. Awesome, Saz. So is this the only AI home robot that's on the market right now for... We think so for this high end, yeah. Nice. So it's got an app that goes with it. What do you guys have in your booth going on here? I can see that there's a display of some types.
Starting point is 00:02:09 Yeah, we are demoing it can avoid slippers, avoid regular obstacles, build the map at the same time positioning itself. We have a 3D point cloud and RGB demo over there. We have a human detection, the dynamic scene environment detection, which Lucy's sensor is capable to do that. I think there's one running around. I think I just saw one over there. Oh, yeah. There's one running around.
Starting point is 00:02:40 You might want to be careful. That might just go vacuum the whole show. It'll just take vacuum the whole show. It'll just take right off on you and you're just like, where did that vacuum go? So this is pretty cool. You can come down and see you guys' booth. You got a big display here and check it all out. Anything more we need to know about what you guys are doing in the show and how you're doing it?
Starting point is 00:02:59 Yeah. In addition to that, we are announcing we successfully fundraised the B-Round for $50 million. Oh, wow. So we are expanding the U.S. and Europe market. So a lot of them will be used for funding for the team building and for the future R&D product research. Awesome, Sauce. So this is going to be cool. You guys are going to go international, sell these things all over the world.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Anything more we need to know about what you guys have?
