Now, here's your host, Chris Voss.
Hi, folks.
This is Voss here from thechrisvossshow.com.
Hey, we're coming to you with CES.
We're in the Venetian at 53414, the Versaware booth, and I'm talking with Jacob.
Jacob, how are you?
I'm doing well.
I'm doing well.
Awesome sauce.
So, Jacob, give us your dot com so we can find you on the interwebs, please.
Yeah, you can find us on socials at Versaware.io, www.versaware.io uh instagram linkedin twitter uh facebook um and uh you can connect
through us either through the website or directly on instagram um and we'll there you go so uh what
do you do jacob what is versaware and how does it work yeah so um what we do is we basically build
um a personalized nutritionist into a kitchen appliance and drive that through
recipe AI. So what we do is we can start to learn and adapt to your culinary tastes and preferences
and then push you recipes that meet your specific daily nutritional goals to shoulder the burden of
conventional nutrition tracking on behalf of the consumer. Awesome. Awesome. So can you show us a
little bit more how it works here? Yeah. So I've hard-coded eight recipes in here, but let's say that you had been using the device for a while,
and these were the recipes that were available to you.
It said, hey, Chris, I'd like for you to make kale salad today.
And it would tell you exactly what it is that you're trying to make,
and it would give you the complete breakdown of what it is that you're about to do with
regards to time, the stuff that's required and everything.
And this nutritional profile would be particular to your goals.
Nice.
So you wouldn't even have to worry about it.
And you can build that here.
But this is really built off of a real-time nutrition engine, which you can see over here.
And this is a big cutting board.
Yes, yes.
It is, it is.
And the cutting board is modularly detachable so you
can take this off move it around wash it just like any consumer want to that's great um but the cool
part about this is that you're able to build any meal by virtue of the real-time nutritional value
of the meal itself and so as you can see up to 12 different micro and macronutrient quantities
where all you're doing is simply portioning the ingredients to meet whether you want a certain
amount of calories a certain amount of calories,
a certain amount of grams of fat or protein.
You can save this recipe itself,
and it'll log to your daily dashboard
where you can see the totals of everything that you're eating throughout the day,
the deficits and everything like that.
And we're able to build that seamlessly into one appliance
where no one else is actually doing that.
That's crazy.
And it's built into this bowl that you have over here too.
Yes, yes.
And the bowl is modularly detachable, dishwasher safe, microwavable,
and pretty robust to handle the industrial setting.
And that measures the weight of my food and maybe gives me caloric sort of things?
Yep, exactly.
So we're very accurate because we integrate with a physical sensor.
We can give you accuracy up to a tenth of a gram.
Really?
To give you that precise control over your nutrition.
A tenth of a gram?
Yes, sir.
That's pretty wild.
It is, it is, it is.
So overall, you're finding people are eating healthier.
Who's your target market that you want to meet with at the show?
Yeah, so our beachhead are the 1.9 million religious nutrition trackers in the U.S. that are constantly using MyFitnessPal to understand everything that goes in their body.
And when we go to market in about six to nine months, we're going to the everyday user that wants to simply eat healthy
but doesn't have the time or patience
to meticulously track every ounce of food
that goes in their body.
I tried to do it and it can be hard.
Yeah, no, it's very hard.
Oh my gosh, there's so much that goes into it.
But I tried to do it.
My fitness was a pal.
Yeah, my fitness.
Yeah, people love that thing
and they use it a lot.
The people that love it, love it.
But there's a lot of people that have tried it and have abandoned the platform out of frustration.
Yeah, because it's a lot of work.
It's a lot of work.
It is, it is, it is.
Yeah, so this is really interesting.
Anything more we need to know about you guys and what you're doing?
No, I'm just, you know, we're excited for the future.
We're looking for partners, investors at CES.
That's the whole point of why we're here.
