Starting point is 00:00:00 Hi folks, Chris Voss here from thecrisvossshow.com. We're at CES 2022 in our continuing coverage. We're at the Vivu booth and we're going to be talking to them about their product. We're with the CEO. Go ahead and introduce yourself. Tell us who you are. Hi Chris. So I'm Mirai, the co-founder and CEO of Vivu. Vivu is a wellness application that guides users to a better lifestyle based on their body's needs. So I always explain like this like Vivo is like your Apple Watch for your urine. Ah! Yep. This is one of our urine test sticks. Okay. Yeah and all you need to do is urinate on this colorful area. Okay. And take a picture with the Vivo app. Oh wow. So you just put it in the app and... Yes, correct. Wow. You just take a picture of it,
Starting point is 00:00:44 colors change and we analyze it in our backend. And what you will see is your hydration score, your pH, ketones, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, and more. You can find out everything about Vivo, the product we launched today, at vivo.io. And it's available on Amazon and our website. Now, why is it important to measure these things? Yeah, it's a really great question. Did you know that 60% of Americans are deficient in magnesium? 70% calcium.
Starting point is 00:01:17 This is crazy. This is a global pandemic of we're lacking of nutrients, which are linked to so many chronic diseases. And we have no idea about what is going on inside our bodies. That is why we actually started Vivo. Like I'm a personal health tracking person myself, but Vivo really expanded the journey for me. This is one of the most easy products to use.
Starting point is 00:01:42 You just have to go to your restroom, urinate on it, take a picture, and you will have all your data in your phone. Now, does it come back to you immediately? Immediately. Wow. And the reason we started Vivo is like, we hate these, you know, tests, at-home tests. But you have to collect your sample at home, send it to a laboratory, wait for a month. And we're so happy with this one. And we've been in the market for two years
Starting point is 00:02:05 with our previous product wow but it didn't have calcium magnesium vitamin c these are all new features we're launching on ces you know i i work out at least i have been for the last five months and so making sure i have all the you know vitamins and stuff that i need this is a great way for people like that to monitor what's going on with their bodies. Yeah, I'm gonna give you a sample so you can try yourself. Cool, cool. Well, I won't use it here. Next year we're gonna put a restroom in the booth. Yeah, that's pretty smart. Go test yourself. Yeah, the restrooms are actually right on the corner there. So, this is pretty, what motivated you want to start this company?
Starting point is 00:02:42 Again, I tried so many products like 23M, MiViome, Evolivel. I was using Marables. And once you're in this space, you just want to learn more and more. And I was already using urine testing to track myself. We wanted to combine that with a mobile app and make it understandable for everyone. Because, like, we're saying hydration, but it's actually specific gravity. Nobody understands what is specific gravity nobody understand what is specific gravity or so so to make it understandable easy to use and advice elements
Starting point is 00:03:11 we have which was really important so once you get your data what are you going to do with that right what what actions should i be taking so this lack of information in the market pushed us to launch awesome i'm a bioengineer so that's why I knew the tests and everything. That is awesome, brilliant. So does it help people, I know sometimes people that are on a keto diet or they're trying to achieve ketosis, I even bought it years ago, little.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Keto test? Yeah, little keto test. Same technology, yeah. Yeah, so this would be great for people that are on those diets and stuff? Keto users are actually early adapters because they already know how urine test works. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:48 And they want to expand the test that they're making and how keto diet affects their body. Are they dehydrated? How is their pH, et cetera? On top of that, they like the backtracking of the data because, as you know, normally when you do a keto test, you lose the information. But with Vivo, you can see big to weak changes in the app.
Starting point is 00:04:08 And you can get more information about how we can improve these metrics. And get accurate results from our image processing, rather than trying to find a match. So it's kind of like an oil dipstick for your body, where you can check to see if your oil and your fluids are up. It's a chemical reacting to analyze and changing colors there you go and you don't have to stick a dip stick in your ear or anything so anything more you want to touch on well come and visit us at food a thousand I forgot about it no
Starting point is 00:04:40 worries I'll show you so well that was the booth on the blog post. Yes. Thank you so much. But if you want to try Vivo, just message us. Hello at vivo.io. Come to our website. We can send you free samples. We can share you more information about Vivo. And I hope you'll enjoy it. Thank you.
