The Confessionals - 728: Spider Crawling Bigfoot and The Cabin With Dark Secrets

Episode Date: February 4, 2025

In episode 728: Spider Crawling Bigfoot and The Cabin With Dark Secrets, TJ shares firsthand encounters with something beyond the realm of normal Bigfoot lore. Towering figures watching from the treel...ine, deep, unearthly whoops echoing through the night—but the real terror? A Sasquatch that doesn't walk but crawls, moving low to the ground like a massive, inhuman spider. Reddish fur, forearms thick as a man’s legs, and intelligence lurking behind its eyes. However, that’s just the beginning. Strange footprints under windows, guttural chatter from unseen mouths, and a primal force in the woods that seems to choose who gets to see it. Is this an undiscovered creature, a spiritual entity, or something far older than we can comprehend? When the forest comes alive, you’ll wish you weren’t there to see it.Become a member for ad-free listening, extra shows, and exclusive access to our social media app: theconfessionalspodcast.com/joinThe Confessionals Social Network App:Apple Store: https://apple.co/3UxhPrhGoogle Play: https://bit.ly/43mk8kZSasquatch and The Missing Man: merkelfilms.comMerkel Media Apparel: merkmerch.comSPONSORSSIMPLISAFE TODAY: simplisafe.com/confessionalsUNCOMMON GOODS: uncommongoods.com/tonyGHOSTBED: GhostBed.com/tonyCONNECT WITH USWebsite: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: contact@theconfessionalspodcast.comMAILING ADDRESS:Merkel Media257 N. Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey Tony, this is Ryan down in St. Augustine, Florida, and thank you so much for all the hard work you've put into the app. I truly appreciate it. It is a lot of fun, and it is awesome to interact with people and share stories. And most of all, there is no AI, no bots. So we know they're real people, real conversations. Yeah, man, thank you for all your hard work. Looking forward to this next chapter and the new app. Thank you. This was all circulating around the base that a giant had been killed, but no one was supposed to talk about it. I saw three long, bony fingers, reach up underneath the door, curl up to grab it, and then disappear. When he came over to me, dude, he slithered over to me. And this giant comes out of the cave and they're all frozen.
Starting point is 00:01:04 And he starts running and firing up this giant. With a giant move, he's got a spear in one hand and he's running really fast. And spears, Dan, holds him up like this. Somebody else, shoot him in the face, shoot him in the face. They basically decapitated. Something pulling at my leg. And I look over and there are two small, and they're literally, I'm getting pulled off the bed. I ended in this bush and I touch air.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Couldn't breathe and I couldn't move because I know I'm seeing a monster. Welcome to the show, everybody listening to The Confessionals Podcast. I'm your host, Tony Merkel. Now, today we have TJ coming on the show, and he was brought down here to Tennessee, to Tennessee by the cryptids of the corn boys.
Starting point is 00:03:00 Joel sat in on this conversation. This was a very large conversation with many people at the table, but it was a good one. TJ has plenty of experiences with Bigfoot. He used to be a BFRO investigator. and he has a lot of experiences, not just with Bigfoot, but a cabin that he lives in with a lot of mysterious things happening around it. This was a fantastic conversation. Does Bigfoot crawl like a spider? I think he does. Let's get to TJ right now. So I was directing and I was bored and I was warm and bored and I was like, what should I do?
Starting point is 00:03:47 And I was like, well, let's see if my parents are awake. So I called my parents and they answered and they're like, hello? You know, and they're just, I don't know, probably doing parent things at home, empty nest. And we're talking about whatever I'm doing and my mom's telling me how great I am and how much she's proud of me and all that good stuff. And that's why I called. And I start hearing this clicking sound. And I'm like, what the heck is that? And I crack my window open and it gets louder because I cracked the window open. It's like this rapid fire clicking sound. And it sounded like the predator from the movie. And I was like, what the heck? And my mom goes, shut your window right now.
Starting point is 00:04:27 And I said, yes, mom. And it kept on going. And did I send you a recording? So this is crazy, right? Boss stuff, right? I didn't think to record it. And somebody else later, when I talked about it, heard it as well.
Starting point is 00:04:47 And they recorded and I sent that to you. Were you able to identify that? Yeah, that guy. What did this guy be? What is that? Shoe Bill Stork. You think it's a shoe bill stork in Tennessee. So we talked about that
Starting point is 00:04:56 that they're the number one trafficked bird in the world as far as cost-wise. They're going extinct in the wild due to like poaching. Yeah. So when they get to, they're huge, they don't fly very well. So we had, it's our most famous,
Starting point is 00:05:09 one of our most listened to episode ever is called Monsters in the Marsh. Because a listener reached out and said, hey, I was driving, was it Sandal Islands? Yeah. Or right in a bike, Sandal Islands.
Starting point is 00:05:18 I came on the corner and there was this dinosaur-looking thing and it just walked into the woods. And she drew it and it was a shoe bill stork. We did research into it. There are thousands of them being imported into the U.S. And in Florida, when they're changing out, they're very strong.
Starting point is 00:05:33 They have a really, really wicked bite. They're very shy. So you've been in a box getting over from Africa, and there seems to be a lot of them escaping. So what they're doing is they are migrating and trying to find rural wetlands to hide it. And they sound, so when you mentioned the predator noise, that's the animal they used for the predator noise.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Really? Yeah. Oh, shoot, dude. So once you said, it's like, well, that's what, you know, that's the, that is the animal. So for part of the noise. And they get to what, six feet tall? Yeah, about five and a half. Like, they'll look you in the eye and they have, they're really scary looking.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Will they fight you? No, they're actually, they like people. Oh. They're very shy, but they bond with people. I could just see, I could just see me finding a shoe bill stork out in the woods. And I come, my wife is like, no dogs. I'm like, you didn't say about a shoe bill store. You know.
Starting point is 00:06:20 They're like $300,000 in the illegal animal trade. And they don't fly, like they fly really low So why you don't see them in the air and stuff They fly close to the ground And they're easy to catch in Africa during the nesting season Wow Because both parents have two chicks And they'll fight over the nest
Starting point is 00:06:34 So you can walk up and put a net over them They're not going to fly away They're not going to leave their chicks I think we're done hunting dog man Do you understand the value in that? Well, 3,000 thousand Shoebill is one of my top three animals all time And I love them
Starting point is 00:06:48 And if I could own one I would completely have one If I had like a big conservation or something for it to run around in, oh my God. Because I've seen videos of them in certain conservation zoos and stuff. I mean, they'll just hang out of people. The problem with them in conservative. There's only two in the U.S. in zoos right now. They bond with their caretaker.
Starting point is 00:07:09 They actually have really, really strong social structure. So it's hard for that person to take vacations because it's like that's their guy and they'll freak out once they stop seeing. But they don't have to see them like, they just get to see them once a day. You got to come in. So I think it's the Florida Zoo has a cardboard cut out of the guy when he's on vacation and they'll walk it past the window. That's funny. For the shoot, we'll see him and be like, all right, he's here. That's wild.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Well, let's stop nerding out about birds. Today we got Joel from Free the Rabbit's podcast. Everybody knows Joel. We got Cryptos of the Corn guys, Justin and Jay. And Justin and Jay brought friends. TJ. Yeah. TJ, how are you, sir?
Starting point is 00:07:49 I'm doing very well. Thank you. I'm glad you're here. Yeah, I'm glad to be here. It's an honor. It really is. I've heard a lot about you. Oh, man. Well, hopefully it's all decent things. It's all decent. Doesn't need to be good, just decent. Yeah, just decent. It's all been very, very decent. But through Jay and the cryptid kids, I call them. I'm 60 years old, so I call them kids, the cryptic kids. The cryptic kids. I like it. I like it. I like it. So I've heard about you for quite some time now. I'd say probably at least a year. Yeah. And I don't remember who talked to me about at first of it. It was.
Starting point is 00:08:21 Joel or Justin, but they, I guess, met you at a conference. Is that how this worked out? Yeah. How this all happened? It was the Ohio Bigfoot conference at Camp Odeoqua, which was about a mile from Old Manscave and Hockey County.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Is that in Salt Fork State Parks? No. This was, Salt Fork is the Ohio Bigfoot conference at Salt Fork. It was a Hocking Hills Bigfoot conference. This was the Hocking Hills Bigfoot conference. Gotcha. Okay. It's about a mile from Oldenburg.
Starting point is 00:08:50 It's about a mile from old man's cave in the Hocking Hills region. And I had been there from day one, from the very first year they had it, a friend of ours, a mutual friend, had organized it, put it together. So I'm there set up with my photography work, just wildlife photography for the most part. And these guys were set up beside me. So for the whole day, back and forth telling stories. That's the first time. That's how we met.
Starting point is 00:09:16 And it was a good day. It was a good day. We didn't have many people. It was around COVID time after COVID, so there wasn't a big crowd of people. It was very stormy, too. Yeah. Yeah. But they good guys.
Starting point is 00:09:30 And we, so we had a real good day. I invited them to the cabin. My cabin I live in in Southeast Ohio, it's in Wayne National Forest. So I have no neighbors in sight. My cabin sits in the woods just surrounded by Wayne National Forest. But that day, it was just, it really was a good day with these guys. They gave me a free t-shirt. Nice.
Starting point is 00:09:50 That's how you win everybody's heart, right? Here's a free shirt, best friends for life. They gave me a free t-shirt, and Jay bought one of my photographs from me. Yeah. And then I had a couple of photography gifts to give them today or yesterday when they came to pick me and my fiancé up, and I left him at the house. So I was empty-handed for these guys. But that's how we met. He's trying to lure me back to the cabin.
Starting point is 00:10:15 You might not go alone from what I'm hearing because I'm hearing because I'm not. I think I might want to go too, right? It feels alive. Yeah. It is. It's a very special place. It truly is. I've been there for about seven years now.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Friends, I've had my entire life own the cabin. I rented from it. Built in 1898, two-story cabin. Her great-grandparents had built the cabin. And it was relocated to that site in about 1980, 1983, early 80s. And so the brothers and I, would rent the cabin after the holidays for family gatherings.
Starting point is 00:10:52 And somewhere along the line, I was doing some work for the owners, for my friends. They made an offer to me to rent the cabin full time and live there. I'll work three jobs to live at this place. Incredible, two-story cabin. It's just the history is incredible of it. And five beds upstairs, got plenty of room for anybody wants to come. and they've been there. Justin's had an experience or so.
Starting point is 00:11:21 He didn't want to be touched by any spirits because not only have I had just a lot of experiences in my life with our Saskatchew people with paranormal. The current job that I have is a very interesting place also. But yeah, the cabin. You guys are more welcome to come. Open door policy. I had to go to Mothman that day to set up. I said, just leave the key under the mat. And he had an experience, or Justin did the morning that he was leaving out.
Starting point is 00:11:53 And he didn't burn the cabin down. He threatened that if he was touched by anything, that he was. Because they were downstairs. Every night, I was just saying, if any of you touched me, I'll kill us all. What year has a cabin built? It was built in 1898. 1898. Her great-grandparents had a gospel quartet that got found out about,
Starting point is 00:12:14 back in the day. And they made their money singing gospel songs at Prohibition Rally's. You know, alcohol's the devil kind of thing. And they made their money. They were at the 1893 World Fair in Chicago and had two cabins on display. And that man got inspired. He sketched it out and they came home and he owned 500 acres, which is now part of Wayne National Forest. Him and his three brothers, everybody pitched in. They built this incredible cabin. I saw pictures of them. They were very well-dressed people. And I asked, My landlord, I said, you know, how did they make their money? Because most people in 1800s in Gallia County, Ohio, I mean, they're barefooted in rags.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Yeah. And they told me about their gospel quartet. I've actually got one of their playbills they had from back in the day. But he got inspired from the cabins at the 1893 World Fair, came back, and they built this. It originally had pocket doors. Just an incredible space. And it felt like that I've gone home. it really has when I when I first moved in it was just an incredible feeling being there
Starting point is 00:13:19 we had brothers I had rented it for a bunch of years just for a long weekend gathering but it's just I couldn't believe when I'm actually there I'm in this incredible cabin I lived in single wide trailers most of my life I called them little Vietnamese sweat boxes you know you can't heat them you can't cool them's true I lived in single and I got into this incredible cabin in the woods and that's that's my that's my that's my happy place. Yeah. And is it in Galia County? Yeah, Galea County, Ohio. Really? South East Ohio. Wow. Yeah. So Galia County is a place that popped up for me early on in the show. Now, let me ask you this, before I even go into that story, you mentioned about the cabin and having
Starting point is 00:14:03 experiences with what do you call them, Bigfoot people? Yes, Saskwatch people I call them. So you've seen them and we'll get into that. Uh, would, have you seen any with like reddish fur? Yes, one. Was it aggressive? No. Okay. No.
Starting point is 00:14:19 But it was very impressive because he was on all fours. I've seen two. One in actually northern Kentucky, around the crittenden, Kentucky area. I saw one on on all fours many, many years ago. And I saw one on all fours at the cabin that it's just, oh, you can't unsee these things when it happens. and enormous. I mean, what's on all fours, almost moving, not like a primate, but almost like a spider,
Starting point is 00:14:51 really spread out. Really? Yeah, spread out. Forearms as large as my thighs. Long reddish hair hanging off. I mean, eight-inch hair hanging or longer hanging off of its forearms. It just doesn't seem real. It saw me.
Starting point is 00:15:06 I saw it, and I had a guest at the cabin, probably five years ago and she got to see it. And I tell them, I said, you know, cherish that moment because it may never happen the rest of your life. I got a question for you.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Before you go there. Before you go there. Okay? All right. This is off to a great star. I love it. First of all, random side. I have ADHD really bad,
Starting point is 00:15:32 so I just want to say to everybody viewing. I'm in a new studio. This is the first time we're recording in the studio. I'm very excited about it, but it's not the first time they're going to see it.
Starting point is 00:15:38 So that's why I had to say this. Yeah. Anyways. Sorry. Thank you. The spider. Yeah. It was spread out. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Did it kind of look like that? Oh, yeah. I mean, it was just. This was in Ohio, too. Oh, it was. Yeah. It's spread out. And at one time, it came up on all fours that, and that's where I saw the diameter of these forearms,
Starting point is 00:16:03 had a college professor. I worked at a local university for 20 years in maintenance, helped tell. him on a lawnmower one time. He got it. We got on that conversation. He saw a red one on all fours, on a highway, a state route, within about two miles of my cabin, probably 10 years before I even moved in. So he told his story about this red one that was on all fours, but it stood up along the road and walked off after he saw along the road. But yeah, spread out like a spider. That's wild. So what I just showed you was a guy in Ohio's name's Corky Maple, I believe his last name is, and he has had them on his property for as long as I've been into the Bigfoot topic.
Starting point is 00:16:50 And that picture made its rounds. And I talked to him about it. And he said that it's a junior one. It's a juvenile. And he said it was coming up to his porch. And he has game trail cameras all around his property. And he said it actually came up to the porch that night. Oh, dude.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Yeah, but there's two different pictures of it spread out like that. And it's like, when you see the picture, you're like, well, I know in America, spiders don't get that big. So I think we might need to give credence to this whole spider crawl bigfoot angle. What are you going to say? Yeah. So I've heard some of your stuff from Justin because Justin and I've talked about you for a while. And I was, I think I was the one that hit you up immediately. I was like, please get TJ on.
Starting point is 00:17:35 because this is going to be great. And side note, because we knew about the cabin and we shoot documentaries and we're very interested in the area because you don't just have Bigfoot phenomena. You have a lot of different things which Justin's talked about. But to the Bigfoot thing, Justin told me a story about when you were little and this weird connection that you have with animals and just nature in general. And I believe you're going out hunting one day and when this is kind of like spiked this whole Bigfoot. thing. If you could tell me that story, because that is just, it blew my mind hearing from Justin, and I'd like to hear it from the source. Absolutely. Well, it started when I was 14 years of age, which would have put me at about 1978, somewhere in that range, out of school for the summer.
Starting point is 00:18:23 And I had gone to daylight, I rode my bicycle to a local pond to go catfishing. So I'm down to the left end of the pond, shallow water to catch bluegills for bait. There was a lot of flathead catfish in the pond. And I heard something in the woods coming off the ridge. I thought, well, maybe there's a deer coming out because hunting back then was a way of life for us. My dad, my uncle's, everybody. It didn't sound like a deer. It sounded like somebody walking through the woods. Now I call it bipedal. And I spotted something up on a ridge. I thought, there is somebody walking in the woods because the ridge goes up pretty steep away from the pond. And it kept coming down, down closer, closer. And it stopped beside a pine tree, not maybe 40 feet across the pond. The narrowing of the pond was
Starting point is 00:19:10 pretty close to the wood line right there. A very mature 12-inch diameter pine tree. It stopped right there. I knew at that point that it was not a person, five and a half, six foot tall, covered in hair, flat face, leathery-looking skin. And it stared at me. I stared at it. for probably a minute and a half. It wasn't just there and gone. We stared at each other. I've got a fishing pole in my hand, scared to death, trembling, shaking, frozen. It's just like I couldn't move.
Starting point is 00:19:47 Its eyes were large, out of proportion eyes for what you would normally see as a Bigfoot face. It turned, it walked away. You could see the long hair hanging off its forearms. It walked away out of sight, bledding. It was jet black. It was black. At that point, I gathered up my fishing pole and I got on my bicycle and hauled. I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:20:10 I mean, it was just petrified at the point. And I got home, I was one of five boys. So I knew if I came home and told my brothers, I would never hear the end of it. I stayed silent. I just kept it in. I just kept going through my mind of what I saw. Back then, I watched Leonard Nimoy in search of type of shows were on TV. A month later, our school started back up.
Starting point is 00:20:31 And I'm on a school bus and had told a word to a soul. And there was three friends of mine ahead of me on the bus, three girls I graduated with. They were talking about this six-foot tall, hair-covered creature they saw. And their house was probably two miles away. I got off the bus, said, guys, come here, come in. And it matched. The description matched. And it was just incredible.
Starting point is 00:20:56 So we talked for quite a bit about it and on the bus maybe a week later. I'm in the kitchen with my mom one night. And her best friend, Loretta and her daughter, Teresa, Teresa, I'd grown up with my age. They came bust into the door, bawling her eyes out. We thought somebody got killed. That's her bad action. Something happened.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Mom finally got her calm down. She said, Loretta, what's going on? She said, Mary, I don't know if we saw a Bigfoot or the devil himself. Because on the way to our house, she had to slow down in a swooping turn. There was a cornfield on the left. and the headlights hit this creature, six foot tall, covered in hair. And as they drove past, it ran beside the car in the field for about 20 yards, paralleled them, and then off to the left in the field.
Starting point is 00:21:42 At this point, my brothers were out in the kitchen. They heard it, and it's game on. Everybody's going to go kill a big foot. Her brothers, uncles, everybody, they had heard. So everybody's in the pickup truck. I'm going to find this creature, what didn't happen. But that's how that all began when I was 14. And then kids on the bus, there were other kids.
Starting point is 00:22:04 And we didn't tell anybody. They started seeing this creature. They started calling it to Valley Monster. They put a, kids, you know, we put a name to this thing. And it just, when I spilled my guest to my brothers, they said, why didn't you tell me? I said, well, you, a bunch of idiots. I mean, you would have never let me live it down. And at that point, I wanted to see it again.
Starting point is 00:22:29 I had calmed down and I wanted to see it again. Well, I bow hunted a lot. My next oldest brother, bow hunted. I was the only two in the family of bow hunted. And I didn't have any camouflage to speak of. So I'd go out and I did have my Johnny Rambo paint. I had face paint. And I would play the wind.
Starting point is 00:22:49 I thought it was just a standard issue critter like a deer. And so I'd put my face paint on, keep the wind in my face and slow stalk through the woods. Nothing. I heard some odd things, but I don't know what they were, but I saw a lot more in that technique. I saw a lot more deer, different things. So that was, and it was always on my mind. I never saw anything until years later, but that's how it all started with me, that one summer. And but backtracking two years, the 12 years old mom and dad let me go by hunting by myself. I was still got my old bear codyack hunter recurved bow and nobody taught me this i was within walking distance of this area this area i would hunt and i would go out and i set my bow down on the ground beside me i kneeled down on one knee and i grabbed the uh the weeds the grass and i closed my eyes and i was trying to feel uh everything underneath me how it's all connected the roots of those weeds the rocks the leaves everything has a purpose.
Starting point is 00:23:58 I was trying to feel that. Now, if I'd really told my brothers that, they would have locked me up. Probably where we work now with the state hospital. And I don't know where it came from. Nobody taught me that. It just came to me to try to connect and feel the earth, everything underneath my feet, everything underneath me.
Starting point is 00:24:19 And the first time I did that, my eyes closed, thinking about the woods, the connection with the woods, then I heard fluttering and here came a bard owl landed eight feet in front of me. The very first time, I tell these guys, a lot of people, this wildlife, they feel. They feel, they know that we don't give them enough credit, whether it's a dog or cat at your house or a bard owl or a red tail hawk. But I had those hawks would come in. I'd have squirrels come right on my lap. I had a white-tailed-dough, full-grown white-tailed doe.
Starting point is 00:24:55 I'm hunting deer. And I set my bow off the side. Here she came, and I'm talking to her. She came up, and I patted her on her back. 12-year-old kid, you know? And that was my initial connection with wildlife and how they came to me. And I spent a lot of time in the woods as even a 12-year-old, even without a bow, I had a very abusive older brother, seven years older than me.
Starting point is 00:25:19 Get locked in this terrible mess, let's just say that. And so the woods was my happy place. I could go to the woods and get away from him. Rain or shine. They said, where are you going? I'm going to hike. It would be snow and ice, rain, 100 degrees outside. It didn't matter.
Starting point is 00:25:40 I went to the woods, hunting, hike, and fishing, anything to get away from that situation. I really feel that it was that kind heart of a 12-year-old kid. You might say shouting out to the earth, to the good Lord, whoever you want to shout it out to. That's why a lot of this wildlife came to me. And so that's why I kind of backtrack. I tell my initial 14-year-old story what happened. Then go back to the connection I had with the wildlife as a 12-year-old.
Starting point is 00:26:11 And, you know, not too many 12-year-olds. I was just crying because they're getting abused by an older brother. Yeah. You know, not physically. Not physically so much. until I got to be 16. I was big enough to knock a snod out. He learned his lesson.
Starting point is 00:26:30 He learned his lesson, but it was still, it was a lifetime. Yeah, it was interesting. But I think it helped make me the person that I am today. Go through bad things, it makes you kind. At least in my case. I was, and I swore when I was out in those days, I wanted to be the opposite of Dave. I'll just say his name.
Starting point is 00:26:52 He's dead and gone now. We made her peace before he passed. But yeah, those tough days made me the person I am today, along with many other things. But that's how it started for me and my connection with the wildlife, and especially Bardow's Redtail Hawks and then Saskatchewat people. So Bardow's, I mean, that was the first time that happened, but it's something that's a common thing for you now? Oh, yeah. Yeah, it's common. On the way here, and my fiancé, soon-to-be wife, has got Native American blood. Her grandmother was Cherokee, and there's a connection she has. And with the wildlife now and us together, we counted 27. And she photographed. I got a couple pictures, but I was driving. It was tough for me. 27 different red-tail hawks on the way to my brothers in northern Kentucky before these guys came and picked us up. Really?
Starting point is 00:27:52 And a juvenile bald eagle. I pulled off the road. Hit the brakes. Make sure nobody's behind me going to rear end us. I had jammering brakes. Get off the road. First, we thought it was a buzzard. And it wasn't.
Starting point is 00:28:04 It was a juvenile bald eagle. A beautiful creature. She got pictures of it, and then it would fly away and come back over top of her. Come back over top of the car time and time again. it felt, I think it felt her bloodline and the kindness in our heart. That's the best way I can describe it. It's like it's like it almost felt, felt that in us. That was on the way here.
Starting point is 00:28:29 So yes, it's been a lifetime, and especially over the past several years after being, living in my cabin, it's been incredible with the barredows, red-tail hawks, bobcats. I've had bobcats within 10 feet of me. and I don't I don't hunt anymore. I haven't for years. I just, I hunt them with a, with a camera.
Starting point is 00:28:53 I would rather photograph them and experience them than to ever shoot anything ever again. Other than a wild boar, I'd like to go boar hunting again. It's not too hard to find them. Yeah. Yeah. I'll shoot a wild boar.
Starting point is 00:29:09 Yeah. To the Bigfoot thing, because you've had many Bigfoot experiences, because you've only told a call. And so you've had more than two? Tons. Okay. Because I thought, for some reason you said something that made me feel like you, you've had two Bigfoot encounters.
Starting point is 00:29:23 It was the reddish. Oh, just the red ones. The red color. Oh, wow. Okay. Good. I'm color-coded. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Did you ever have any aggressive encounters with any of them? No. I've had, I've had very heavy breathing, very close to me from one, but nothing aggressive. I mean, I don't discount. And I tell people just my accounts, my stories. I don't try to sway people one way or the other. But aggressiveness, I have never experienced. I think that positivity attracts positivity.
Starting point is 00:30:00 And I think that if you get aggressive, obviously, they can get aggressive. But I've never, no, I've never had any. That's interesting because what brought the whole galae County Red Bigfoot up, which, and correct me if I'm wrong, you saw one of the Red Bigfoot on the spider crawl, right? Yep. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:22 Years ago, I did an interview with a guy in Gallagia County, and he made a claim that he shot and killed one. And his experience was that it was very aggressive, but with what you just said, he is a very aggressive person. Like at one point, yeah, I don't think it matters if I say this. Because I won't say the details, but he got a hold of me years later and about some other stuff. He's like, hey, sorry, I have been off the radar. I was like, it's okay, man.
Starting point is 00:30:57 I wasn't really looking for you, you know? And he goes, I was in federal prison. Well, that may have been the same individual I went to talk. too one time had made contact with me. Was it down along the High River? I'm not exactly sure. Not far from the High River. Yeah, I think you're right.
Starting point is 00:31:17 Yeah. And I stayed very clear of that individual after that first meeting. Because he was kind of jacked up, whacked, if it's the same individual. When I get there, when someone offers you, would you like to burn a big fatty? That sounds like him, actually. Yeah, like that big. Was his name, Brian? Oh, yes.
Starting point is 00:31:43 That's wild. That's wild. And I said, no, I don't, I don't smoke anything. Well, how about we do a lot of cocaine? And I mean, I'm the guy that I don't drink. I take an ibuprofen because I hurt. And he told me about, he told me about the, and sent me pictures of where he, with blood on the ground where he said he shot one.
Starting point is 00:32:10 and so he was down near some railroad tracks. Uh-huh. You probably, if you remember that or not. This is episode like 31 or something. It's been a long time. And probably lived in like a, one of the storage units they turned into housing,
Starting point is 00:32:24 a little shed is where he lived. And after that getting offered, lots of different kinds of drugs, I thought, now I'll be very polite and I says, Lord, let me get out of here without getting shot, buried,
Starting point is 00:32:40 of something. Right next that Bigfoot. And he, I mean, but yeah, how about that? That's wild, man. How'd you, how'd you connect with him? I had, at one point, there was an organization that had me, and I'll leave them nameless. It hurts with a B. Let's just say it's hurts with B. As a field investigator. Oh, okay. And that was short-lived. It wasn't for me.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Not to turn the bad people, or good people that I was involved with, but there's not enough hours in the day with me. work and work and working, and you can take reports and you can stay every day after work, you can take off in the area to do an investigation and do an interview with someone. And it just wasn't for me. So it was very short-lived, nope, I don't need that, don't have the time. And that's how that happened with Mr. Faddy and the cocaine, like cocaine. That's wild. That's wild.
Starting point is 00:33:36 Guy like Kenny is not that big. Wow. No, we've got like 30,000 people in whole. county. It's not, it's not, that's wild. Given the fact that I moved from a county in Pennsylvania that had over a million people, that's quite the difference. That's wild. What else is there?
Starting point is 00:33:51 Citywise. Oh, well, there's lots of things where my fiance and I actually work, and I'll leave it, nameless too, but it was the very first epileptic hospital built in the United States America in the late 1800s. The old structures are gone, and it's gone to where now we care for developmentally disenfranchis. disabled individuals. I have a lot of range of people there, but the spirits are still there. It's a, oh, it's active.
Starting point is 00:34:18 It's incredible. And I've only been there for just over just a year. Fiance's worked there 20 years. And so she's had incredible experiences. And then I hear all the other senior staffers, all those years. But yeah, that is there. We had, if you've ever Googled up Gallia County, Ohio, 1800s, Bigfoot, there was a, it was about 1869, I believe it was, an account in Gallia County, Ohio, a man and his daughter on a horse and buggy.
Starting point is 00:34:48 He got drug off of it by a wild man hair-covered creature. She fended it off with a rock, beat it off of her father with a rock. Then the whole town at that point, they were out looking for this monster. And that was in the late 1800s. I think 1869 will have to, I tell people, Google it. Yeah. There's Google it. And so that's how that started.
Starting point is 00:35:09 it in the oldest known account that I have in print. It made the papers was that in the 1800s. I am a half hour from Point Pleasant, West Virginia, with the mothman and the whole T&T area and all the history that goes along with Point Pleasant area, which is a whole other subject of it really is that when the bridge fell in December 15th, 1967, I was just a little kid. Mom wouldn't let it. Word of Mothman spread like that.
Starting point is 00:35:45 And we weren't, she wouldn't let us out of the house. Other women in town, a little town called Rye Grand, Ohio. They were afraid Mothman would get us. They didn't know what it was, but they'd heard about it just that quickly. And so, yeah, there's, we were the, Gagia County, Ryan Grand home of Bob Evans Farms, originally there. Our claim to fame at the University of Rye Grant was Bivo Francis, Clarence Biva, Francis.
Starting point is 00:36:09 NC AA scoring record, 116 points in one game. Wow. About 1950s, somewhere in that range. So it's a small little county, a very, you know, not a big populated county, but there's a lot of incredible experience. Vincent and Brian, that's wild. Yeah. I heard some interesting stuff about the cabin and a Masonic connection.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Yeah, there was. Okay, let's talk about our sponsor today, which is simply safe. You know, every 26 seconds, they say. A burglary takes place in the United States, according to the FBI data. That means more than likely before this podcast episode's over, one of y'all just got robbed. Think about that. It's kind of crazy. Protect your home before it's too late with Simply Say's proactive security system.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Simplisave helps to stop threats before they even have the chance to break in. I personally love having my security system at home. It keeps me safe. My family's safe. We feel confident when we have our security at home up and running. Traditional security systems only take action after someone usually breaks in. That's too late. Starting point is 00:38:16 good i didn't want to take all she's all the furniture so everything was left in place for the most part And as I went through, she said, Be, feel free, there were shelves upstairs with books and a lot of their things. They were all retired school teachers. And I'm going through books and things, and there's a Masonic Bible. It's like, and I've only opened it up here just very recently. But here's a Masonic Bible. And it was, I don't know if it was a grandparent, somebody to her family.
Starting point is 00:38:47 That was a Mason. And that was odd because I hear people say that it was kind of a rare thing. They're not supposed to get out. They're not supposed to get out. And these people, I mean they're not supposed to get out. So, like, when if a family ever dies with one, it has to come back to the lodge. Oh, really? They don't exist outside of.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Joel, fact check, yes? Here's what I'm going to say about that. Depends on how it's given out. One thing is Masonic Bibles aren't literature that's technically deemed. from the lodges, right? So anybody could go online and buy a Masonic Bible if you want to. It's not something that's, the caveat is if you go back in time, it was probably a little more strict with some of that stuff. And just to let people know, there's no difference between a Masonic Bible and a King James Bible. Matter of fact, it is a King James Version in almost all cases.
Starting point is 00:39:41 What a Masonic Bible does, it will pinpoint verses in the Bible that's used in Masonic Lodges for rituals or whatever else, especially when it comes to King Solomon. So there'll be a lot of illustrations of King Solomon, the building aspect. They'll highlight that type of stuff. Now, what you're talking about is if brothers in the lodge give a Bible to another brother as a gift, which several things are given as gifts. And when I was in there, they gave me a ring as a gift. So that's given to that specific person from a brother to a brother. It's more of like a brother bond than it is actually a Masonic ritual or some sort of tenant within the lodge. But you're not wrong in the sense of if that particular lodge has deemed that Bible to that person,
Starting point is 00:40:33 if they die, they may ask for it back because if they don't have a family member that's also a Freemason that can be passed down to, sometimes they'll take it back at that point. But essentially the Bible itself is no different than any Bible you pick up outside of the the fact they're going to highlight certain verses and you'll have some pages of Masonic material in it. But generally, it's not anything that's not going to mind blown. Where in the seams, they have unknown written languages that if you read backwards. Do you remember what year it is? No, I don't know what year.
Starting point is 00:41:06 And just recently going through one of the attic spaces. I found a smaller Masonic Bible. The one that you saw. The one that he's talking about is massive. I mean, it's a table. Like, it takes, when you open it, it's like a table. Yeah. very large Bible. Then a small one I found recently going to an attic space. And so that, yeah,
Starting point is 00:41:22 that's the story with Masonic Bibles in the, in the cabin. And, and I tell people, too, that what the, the day is just incredible. And I needed to add this to it. The day that, two days, it really changed me for the cabin. I was doing some work for the landlords. I hadn't moved in yet. They haven't even made me the offer. And so I'm doing some work. at the cabin. She had 12 days that I could stay there. She didn't have any runners. So I'd go out after work and then weekend getting this job done. Went out to the car one day to get tools. Came back up and I patted the cabin. Just patted my hand on the side of the cabin.
Starting point is 00:42:01 I said, oh, buddy, I wish I lived here and take good care of you. It was the very next morning. She called me at work and makes me the offer to live there permanently, to rent that from them. It's like, well, the universe, the good Lord, above somebody's listening. there was a connection. And it's just, it was a goosebumps still this day that I did that. My youngest brother, doctor degree professor, you know, University of Cincinnati, and he says, you talk to the cabin?
Starting point is 00:42:29 Yeah. Yeah. I talked to the trees. I talked to the woods. I talked to whatever wants to listen. Talk to the darkness in the woods, you know. And I said, yeah. So you can send me for a psychiatric evaluation if you wish.
Starting point is 00:42:43 But that's how that happened the very next day. That morning she called Made Me the Offer. Wow. And so had to keep her commitments for the year. That was in the spring. And so I wasn't able to move until December of that year. It's like, oh, please, let her not back out. I want to be in this cabin.
Starting point is 00:43:00 And that's where I've been ever since. Wow. How long have you been there? About seven years. Okay. Yeah, roughly seven years. Gotcha. And, yeah, so that's the story of me getting into the cabin.
Starting point is 00:43:13 and then it was just game on ever since. Even the time when I was doing the repairs on it that spring, the very first experience ever had at the cabin, 10.30 at night, 11 o'clock at night in the hot tub, just out giving thanks, just praying and giving thanks for the day and for all the blessings in my life. And it's not pitch blackout back. There's porch lights and things.
Starting point is 00:43:41 And from the woods, I could see it coming, was a blue ball light, just glowing like an exit sign, the size of a softball. And I just started talking to it. It came down within 10 yards of me. For two minutes, it just dart around. And I just talked to whatever this blue ball of light was. And then it was just gone. It didn't dart off. It didn't.
Starting point is 00:44:06 Anything weird. You could almost see inside of it. like other colors, twisting and turning inside of this light. It wasn't just solid. And it was gone. And I just, so at that point, when I got out of the hot tub, then I gave thanks to the woods. I started talking woods.
Starting point is 00:44:27 And I said, if that was whatever spirit, whatever form you were in, whatever that was, interact with me. I'll never take a photograph. I'll never cast a print. I'll never put audio, video. I just want the interaction. hold my hands up, show them. I said, I don't have any weapons, no camera,
Starting point is 00:44:45 nothing. I'll never photograph you or document you. It's worked, at least in my eyes and other people's, that it has worked because, yeah, I've had eight different prints on the property. I have seen them, and there could have been an opportunity for photograph. It's like, no, no, just leave the camera in the house. And so it's been years now of that building, you might say building of trust. Go for months, months and nothing happens. You know, you get busy, daily life, work, keeping a car running, paying bills,
Starting point is 00:45:26 normal day-to-day life. And people will say, well, don't you have you pray out there every night. You know, out there every night, tree knock and wopping in the record, no. I live my life. I've had enough experiences. where I know now that these things are real, along with many other things. And I don't have to try to get, I don't think that irrefutable evidence. I don't think the body is ever going to show up people, some people, and maybe it will.
Starting point is 00:45:53 But at least in my mind, I'm satisfied with what's happened to me in my life. I live my life and occasionally things happen. There's a gifting area that I have out back. And just recently with my fiancé, we went out and a gift with different things. and I would tell her those stories, the things that's happened to me over the years which were just incredible. And as a connection,
Starting point is 00:46:17 for her to have a connection now that she's living with me there. When you get things gifted back to you is one of the most incredible feelings ever. Like what? Quarters, a change. On my gifting stump, I would gift with apples, peanut butter jars, peanut butter, everything's.
Starting point is 00:46:37 There's lots of critters out here that can drag that off. So I would do different things, marbles, toy cars, whatever. I had taken a quarter of nickel-pitting a dime, nice shiny change, laid it on top of the stump in a row. It laid there for two, three weeks, nothing. Nothing happened. Go back out and the change is stacked, completely stacked. So I thanked them for that experience. I'm stacking my land back down.
Starting point is 00:47:04 Then very next morning, that same row of change, is sitting outside of my door going on to my deck. Right on the deck. Here's the change. My youngest brother says, well, you know, Coons have opposing thumbs. I don't think they're bringing the change and putting it back in order for me. Those are the type of things.
Starting point is 00:47:28 Okay, the peanut butter, there were some pretty cool things that happened in jars of peanut butter that would be gone for two weeks of time and would come back completely empty. completely, just like you washed it in the, and with hot soapy water, completely clean, back to the same spot.
Starting point is 00:47:50 But the, the objects of the, of the, and then the other thing, it will get gifted back. I'll take bones. I've got a collection of bones of, like a raccoon skull,
Starting point is 00:48:01 different vertebrae from deer and everything. That'll be right at the doorstep or on the picnic table. the one story of a gift was I had got a call from a friend at work said T.J. Do you know where there's a lake about 45 minutes from? It's surrounded 1,000 acres of Wayne National Forest around it. I said, yeah. She said, I've got a friend that lives out there. We'll leave her name was daylight hours going down her driveway. She saw a white female Sasquatch. And it ran in front of her car down in the woods. She said she doesn't want to be named. But can you go to that air? just to see what you feel. Well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:40 So I take out after work. I stopped and got a Hershey bar on the way there. Anything can take a Hershey bar. When I got to the woods, there's no hiking paths. It had been good grouse country, a lot of brushy woods, hillside. I sat down a log, talking to the woods, introduced myself, and immediately got a tree knock in response, daylight hours, 4 o'clock in the afternoon. I walk closer to that area.
Starting point is 00:49:07 there's a beautiful rock overhang. I'd never seen in my life. So I sat down, nothing else happened. No other sounds, I didn't see anything. On the way out, I took my Hershey Bar, put it on a log, a down tree, and away I went. I came back the next day after work. Well, the Hershey Bar was gone, which any number of things could take it off. But there were three wild onions pulled up by their roots and laid in his place.
Starting point is 00:49:32 Out in the middle, right in the woods and a brush. that was incredible still goosebumps to this day and I went out several times after that and nothing else happened nothing and that's why I said sometimes it's just that that glimpse
Starting point is 00:49:47 just that glimpse that you get that one moment yeah we're here we're real but yeah I got gifted wild onions back in return that was very cool did you take them? Yes I took them
Starting point is 00:49:59 I took them and I thanked them for them I actually raked the dirt off one of them made them on the spot really oh yeah it's just like It's just, yeah, I like ramps and wild onions things anyway. So, yeah, to honor them and what they gave me, sure. Now, if there's some kind of rotten animal, maybe I wouldn't just.
Starting point is 00:50:18 Well, I've already committed this eating thing. Yeah. Let's see if he eats this. They're like, let's see if it eats this now. Oh, that's funny. I, I, um, the, the, uh, the eating and an onion and all that stuff, it got me thinking with the gifting. Have you ever, because I mean, clearly the organization, which starts with the B, uh, that you, that you were temporarily, you know, you worked with a little bit. Like, there's this whole thing where, you know, uh, you're trying to get evidence of these things, you know, you're trying to, um, uh, prove their existence.
Starting point is 00:50:59 in your interactions, you know, throughout your life to, you know, maybe temporary research. Have you ever come across hair or anything like that? I mean, if they're gifting, did they ever gift hair? Did you ever gift hair? No, an ever gifted hair. I've got a friend that found. I take it back. I was never gifted hair.
Starting point is 00:51:24 But my two boys and I back in the day, we would boar hunting, Zaleski State Forest. And it was old strip my land just thicket upon thicket, perfect cover for the boar. And an old barbed wire fence in the brush covered over. They said, Dad, what's this? And it was about 12 inch long red hair on the barbed wire out in the middle of a thicket. There's no, there's no horses. Yeah. And so that's the only hair.
Starting point is 00:51:53 And I didn't take it. The boy said, did Dad, do you want to take it? I said, no. I said, that's part of them. And we would talk about things. I said, no, we're going to leave that right there. I said, I don't want to bring part of them that I haven't got their permission to take. Let's just say that.
Starting point is 00:52:11 Okay, cool. Then we left it. And how people say, they couldn't believe that I left this 12-inch long red hair. Yeah, I did. You got a lot of self-restraint. You really do. Because I'm over here, like, trying to take pictures and, you know, selfies. And you're like, not.
Starting point is 00:52:27 I'm not even going to touch the hair. No. No, you want to touch it. But I have never been gifted any hair, no. Okay. And haven't really found any either. I haven't found any hair. To Bigfoot, you've had several experiences.
Starting point is 00:52:43 Have you ever had any experiences where they were talking to you telepathically? Tell me about that if that's possible. Yeah, call it telepathic. Some people call it mind-speak, different terms. it was it to me it seemed like a female voice that talked to me that was and that's been so many years ago it's only happened a couple times with that telepathic type of thing i mean i feel a lot of things and i have experiences but i'm not i'm not a what you a telepathic type of person i don't hear that often just a couple times in my life but it seemed like a female voice uh and it was
Starting point is 00:53:31 actually within the past couple years that along with like a almost called a vision wasn't a dream i wasn't asleep it was a vision that uh they wanted me to tell my story they said tell your story i didn't know what to think of it i really didn't it's like well just turned 60 years of age i've got everybody in my graduating class dropping over dead i really thought before this offer was even made i thought well i want to i want to tell my story to the world not going to try to convince anybody of anything but just tell my stories my experience is my thoughts and i had that it's just it's it's odd when you hear that it's like was i hallucinating was a wandering of my mind no i'm white-of-wink drinking strong coffee you know and i heard that to tell tell your story
Starting point is 00:54:23 And that's really the only time I've ever had that telepathic type of thing. I've had dreams. And I do believe that they can contact you in your dreams. I really do. I think that you can be contacting your dreams from them. And they can sometimes manipulate your day-to-day life, the subtle little ways, they can change things. But telepathic just once, really.
Starting point is 00:54:52 maybe twice the second time was kind of iffy i just don't know yet i get sometimes to overthink things if you really get thinking about it i tell people to i said what i try to do i don't go out and think i want to try to find i want them to come in i want to see them again i want to see this saskatch person again no i said just clear your mind think about some of the happiest times your life as a child as an adult and close your eyes listen to the woods. If you have an opportunity to listen to the woods, wake up in the morning with a cup of coffee, you're just by yourself sitting in the woods.
Starting point is 00:55:28 Wherever you're at, the birds and how the woods wake up each morning. I said, think about that. You might be surprised at what comes in or gives you an experience. But if you go out, I want to see one. I mean,
Starting point is 00:55:41 I've got my recorders. I've got X, Y, and Z and Parabolics and all this equipment. I think it adds tension to the, to the situation. I really do think it adds attention. They can feel that. They know our intentions. I truly believe that if I said today, guys, we're going to the cabin and let's go talk to the woods, they know that. However, their abilities, beyond mine, yeah, they can feel that. They know my intentions before I even leave the house, before I even leave work. But I really do think that, that, It adds tension to it when you're trying to want to see one so bad.
Starting point is 00:56:23 It's probably going to happen when you least expect it. It's interesting to say that because him and I had an interaction out in the woods locally, and we were out there, and I had a night vision camera, and I had gotten sick. I had a respiratory infection. It was like 2, 3 o'clock in the morning. I don't remember how late it was, but I remember I was sitting there. It's on camera with this whole thing. but I'm sitting there
Starting point is 00:56:51 and I have the camera like on a small tripod on the ground and I'm squatted down so I'm in frame and just kind of resting and I think Joel I think you said something to me because I just remember saying
Starting point is 00:57:04 maybe that's maybe that's the point I said why is it that they always show up for people that don't want to see you Oh right yeah It feels that way a lot because I oddly enough, the crazy stuff that's happened to me in the woods is generally when I'm not expecting it.
Starting point is 00:57:23 Or it'll be something, if I am expecting it, it'll be something different than what I'm looking for. So that's what happened. And he had just put the camera down. I had my back turn and something ran up on us. The thing is, like, when I confirmed with you on that and I was like, yeah, maybe that's what it is, you shouldn't want it, right? and I hate saying this part I really do because I didn't say it out loud
Starting point is 00:57:48 I was saying it in my head and I was just like don't want it you don't want this you don't want this you know and I was it was like I wasn't even like thinking anything as far as like talking to anything
Starting point is 00:58:01 I was just like trying to like I don't know chill myself out a little bit and that's when we start hearing movement up behind the camera and it's dark out like we don't have it we think we have lights out at this time but it's a night vision camera so you can see us.
Starting point is 00:58:15 And then all of a sudden you hear it on camera. We had a shotgun microphone pointing towards us. So behind the microphone, you don't really pick up a lot of audio. But whatever this was was so loud that we got it on audio and it charged up to the camera. And that was probably the most adrenaline pump I've ever had out. Yeah. And then followed by what sounded like monkey sounds. in Tennessee, which mingled in with owl sounds.
Starting point is 00:58:47 So, of course, we have the expert over here, Justin, take a listen to it because he's quick to debunk a lot of stuff. And he's like, I nicknamed him well, actually, you know. Well, actually. I'm sorry. But tell us what you thought when you heard it. I can't even remember that right now. I can say what he said.
Starting point is 00:59:09 He did. I feel talking about it. Yeah. Yeah, he did say that, yeah, it sounds like owls, but it sounds like something's mimicking owls. That's like that first sound, though, is clearly almost ape-like and then it morphs. Right. Like when we would go out and call for owls, do surveys and stuff. Like, you don't always tell.
Starting point is 00:59:29 You can tell it's a guy doing, who cooked for you? You know, the bard owl sounds and stuff like that. Well, in the barred owls, even, I've got some recordings on my phone. I want to take pictures, but they're, they will sound. almost like you've got chimpanzees in the woods back and forth. It's just I had friends there once. We're out drinking coffee one evening. And the barredows turned loose.
Starting point is 00:59:51 They were panicked. They thought that there were chimpanzees in the woods. I said, no, that's the barredows. They'll start hopping up and down. Oh, yeah. They get real excited. They get excited and they get pumping. Sounds like me.
Starting point is 01:00:05 And, but yeah, the, so originally about the, the mind-speak, you might say, that type of a thing. Very rarely, just that one time, maybe one other time, but very rarely. This didn't happen. Now, I did have, call it the samurai chatter, call it the Sierra Salons, that type of thing. This was before I even moved down the cabin, well, Sims Creek, there went National Forest. And there I'd go after work, so long the creek bank and talk to the woods and just just to listen to the woods, just to enjoy the moment.
Starting point is 01:00:44 That's why I would tell people. And the two things in combination were just, you mentioned something about the predator sounds. I saw a translucent figure in the tree, just across from me 10 yards up top of this big poplar tree. What are you? And it looked like that predator translucent figure. You could see arms and movement.
Starting point is 01:01:07 It came down the tree. You heard that clicking sound as it's coming down the tree. I'm looking for crosshairs. You know, it's like this thing, this is real. This is happening right in front of me, 4.30 in the afternoon on summer. And it came down and I heard it coming through, I didn't hear it go through the water, but then I heard it behind me, three, four foot tall brush buyers. There's no hiking paths out there where I'm at.
Starting point is 01:01:36 I could hear that right behind me. I mean, 10 feet behind me, those sounds of that samurai, I chatter those more head type of the Sierra sounds. I've heard at one time at the cabin, and it just doesn't seem real. I tell people to growled yourself when that's happened right beside, it takes some deep breaths. It's spooky, especially if you're out there and pitch black at night
Starting point is 01:02:00 and these type of things happen, which I don't even go out at night anymore, other than just on the deck of the cabin. But when it happens right behind you, sitting here at the bank, and I mean, it's just, you can hear it behind you. I don't know how to explain that. I know that it wasn't a bardow coming through the brush. And one time, at that point, I had my camera or my phone with me.
Starting point is 01:02:30 And I said, it was at that point, I said, I hear you back there. I said, I want to bring my phone up. I want to get it at that point. years ago, I thought I wanted to try to get a photograph. And I came up, like to do a selfie, and there was a primate-looking head that came up out of the brush and backed down. I could see it. I didn't have time to hit the...
Starting point is 01:02:52 It wasn't meant for me to take a picture. It was meant for me to see it. I really believe that. It was meant for me to see this thing, small. I mean, you're talking about something that was maybe four feet tall. How far away from you? 12 feet? Jeez.
Starting point is 01:03:05 I mean, right there behind me. I can hear this thing right behind. And then you turned around and jumped in the bush, right? That's the natural progression here, right? Yeah, well, my youngest brother, what'd you do then? I said, well, after I talked to it, I walked towards it. You walked towards the noise. I said, yeah, I walked towards the noise.
Starting point is 01:03:23 And aren't you afraid of dying? I said, well, if you get your arms tore off out in the woods, I can't get to die somehow. There's better way or worse ways, right? Yeah, and I said, but it's not going to happen. I did see a call it a cougar, a mountain lion, large cat in that same area. I'm walking towards the creek one day, and I hear this growling saying, sell the big cat. I just stop in my tracks, just multiple floor rose bushes and brush.
Starting point is 01:03:50 And I glimpse back in there. I can see her tail as long as her body. And I say her because there were three young ones behind her. This is 18 minutes from Ryan to Hyder's University. It's 18 minutes away, Wayne National Forest. And here's a big cat. They are. D.R.
Starting point is 01:04:08 I'll never admit it, but they're there. They're there. And that was one of the most incredible sights. And I was thankful. I told my brother that. And I said, well, if you don't hear from me in a week, I said, go look in a tree. She'll drag me up in the end of them like a gazelle, you know. I'd be impressed she dragged you up in a tree.
Starting point is 01:04:23 It's a big tree. A big tree, big cat. But yeah, that, the big cat story. Wow. That was just, it was just remarkable to see. And the size were, and you couldn't, you couldn't hear her walking. She went through. You couldn't hear.
Starting point is 01:04:39 You couldn't hear anything. It was, that was, and beautiful, tan-looking creature. Back in the brush, I just backed out and gave her her space. Well, I'll go home and drink a cup of coffee. These are the stories he tells you before you get to the cabin. You know what I'm talking about. Oh, yeah. Because you waited until I got there to tell the other ones.
Starting point is 01:04:59 Well, yeah, the other one that got him. It's like, are you serious? You got us here. Now you tell the story about things coming out of the fog. Wait, things are coming out of the fog. Okay. So he tells all the big foot. stuff, get us up there. And it's nowhere. Like, it's, you drive up the mountain. He's on the top
Starting point is 01:05:16 of the mountain. There's nobody up there. Now they have cell signal. We just found out on the way down the first time, thanks to her. Yeah. The first time and ever, there's been any cell signal. Yeah. Yeah. We need cell phone calls. It's just like, you know, I said, man, this, I got to get out this main case. Could you scoot this way a little bit? Just a little bit. Just because I think, I think, Mike, we're getting fading off. Well, I'm cross my legs getting. Yeah, and stay a little closer to Mike. You're good right there. Okay. Yeah. But yeah, it, because of my fiance, then before she even, before I even spilled my guts about how I felt about her and thought about her moving in, I thought, I've got to bring this place up.
Starting point is 01:05:56 I used to have to go out to the edge of the driveway. There was a rock out there. I can just stand a phone call rock. The phone call. To this spot, huh? No, it's not. There, you just have to stand on this rock to make a call. There wasn't a signal anywhere. It suited me.
Starting point is 01:06:10 I mean, I just love being out there and isolated. And if I fell down and couldn't get up, I thought, I've got to crawl out to the rock to make a phone call. So thanks to Elon Musk and Starlink. Now I have Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi calling, and I'm coming out of the Stone Ages. Then I definitely am coming. And so, yeah, very isolated, no signal. And at one time I had a signal booster for my phone. It works until the foliage, until the leaves.
Starting point is 01:06:39 come on. Makes sense. And so that, that didn't work out very well. But yeah, thanks to the Starlink system, it's working perfectly. And I had one little clear shot
Starting point is 01:06:49 of the sky through the woods. But he's, yeah, they come out and then some of these stories I held back until they got there. So I got the bags out of the car. I guess it's all the big foot and the orbs and that kind of, you know,
Starting point is 01:07:00 I'm like, I can handle that. I see a big foot like as a kid. Like, I can, I can handle that. And then he goes into the other stuff. and like, I don't want to be here.
Starting point is 01:07:10 Yeah. And then that's when, well, you tell them about how you introduce people to the cabin. Oh, yeah. I mean, I just come in and just go out and introduce people to the cabin, to the woods, go out on the deck, introduce them. And these are my friends. Here they are. You know who they are. They're a kindhearted soul to interact with us if you wish.
Starting point is 01:07:32 It would be incredible to have an experience. If not, we're going to enjoy the moment and the weekend, whatever, however much time is there. Sometimes it's total silence and sometimes get a tree knock in response. Get a whoop, get a whistle in response. So I'm telling them those type of things. The very first day that I got moved into the cabin that December, the first week of December, I've got a friend that lives in Mansfield and Annie sees things and feels things. I mean, she truly does.
Starting point is 01:08:03 And she said she'd never seen any pictures of the cabin. I told her I was moving in. and I'm sitting there. I had a signal booster at the time. My brother and sister all got for like a homewarming gift. I had phone service in the house for a while. Annie, I got moved into the cabin. Just so excited.
Starting point is 01:08:23 She said, TJ, there's going to be a black form present itself to you. The spirits are very interested in you and curious. Don't be alarms. Nothing bad. But there's a black form going to present itself. Okay. you know, I've had enough. I just take a deep breath.
Starting point is 01:08:40 I'm cool with whatever wants to come in. And to my left on the floor, black is that tread, an oval black form on the floor, probably 12, 14 inches long. And it went from the floor to my left, where my woodburner sat, straight over into the dining air with a pump organ. There's an original pump organ that the Perkins Brothers Quartet,
Starting point is 01:09:03 the family used. That was where they practiced their gospel music. And it went straight over into that. I said, holy cow, I just saw it. I felt good about it. But it wasn't startled. It was like maybe somewhat startled when I first saw it, but not fearful. And she said, I also, T.J., she said, I see like an attic space.
Starting point is 01:09:25 I see a small little space with a pitched roof. I don't know if it's an attic or a closet or a building or something. And I see a harp. I see a harp. I go on to my landlord and said, hey, I know that. the family in the past and had her gospel quartet. Did anybody happen to have a harp? And she said, yes, my great-grandpaul built one.
Starting point is 01:09:45 It's in the attic space up above you. And he saw that. And so that was just beyond goose bumpy. One of those type of things happened with Annie seeing that. So, yeah, I've had introducing people to the woods into the cabin, and sometimes it's just total silence. Or maybe it's a delayed reaction. You know, you might go out there the next morning and then have an experience or something even in the house.
Starting point is 01:10:13 So when I'm telling these stories to Justin and Jay, then I said, well, let me tell you the story about the fog. Gosh. This creature that came out of the fog. I'm up. Signal booster had already been knocked down from a tree limb that came out. Knocked it off. Okay. I'm done.
Starting point is 01:10:30 So I'm sitting up. I could actually go up in the woods about halfway up the ridge in the woods and get some signal there. I wasn't on the phone rock. And I'm up at the, just inside the woods, not too far. And the fog that evening, just a perfect, just coming up the valley, thick fog. As it got near the cabin, the best way to describe it was this creature came out of the fog and onto the roof of the cabin. It's scurried.
Starting point is 01:11:02 You could hear like the claws almost it's scurrying up. It's shingled. It's not metal. right up the roof, poof and gone. The Lord of the Rings little creature, what's that? The Harold. Gallum. It was, it just looked like something like that.
Starting point is 01:11:19 It looked like Gallum? It just, this, this, no clothing, just skin, just a pale skin over its entire body and just, how large? I mean, it was probably four feet long. It wasn't just tiny little thing. It was pretty four feet. That sounds like a crawler. Yeah, but it came out of the fog.
Starting point is 01:11:38 there. It was materialized. It manifests out of the fog. And it came out of the fog and then just poof gone. It didn't stand up and making sounds or come down the side of the cabin. Nothing. Just poof gone. Well, at that point, I go in and get my dad's Bible out and I start making my prayers. And I forbid anything like that to be on a property or around me. I don't need that. I tell people, too, when you open yourself up by call it deep thought, meditation, getting grounded, listen to the woods. You can also open yourself up. There's bad things out here. Everybody's listening. There's, yeah. Yep, there's bad things that can come in. And I forbid that to come into my life ever again, having anything. But they just got there. And I had to tell me about
Starting point is 01:12:24 story. The skin demon, crawling across the roof right where we were sleeping. Yeah. Wait, while you were there. No, it's, oh, I was going to say. He's like, yeah, your bed's right there. Yeah, your bed's right there. I've crawled over trying to get in there. I put your name on the bed. I want you to save with that one. I think when we were there, a branch and hit the roof. Yeah. And you're like, yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:46 Is there a demon on the roof? That's good. He was back. Well, who was peeking in the windows? Well, I've actually had a face, a Saskort's face looking right in the window at me. Sitting in my recliner at the time now, rocking chair, through the dining room that window over there. Then there's this face. I mean, just, it's just incredible.
Starting point is 01:13:08 of a wide eyeball. You can see this, this peeking in at me. You didn't see the shoulders of the body. It was just this face looking in at me. I talked to it and it was just gone. You didn't hear it walk off. You didn't hear anything.
Starting point is 01:13:22 It just wasn't there any longer. I had friends that came in for Mothman one year. And one girl, I was up late and I was on the couch, probably drinking coffee. And she was in bed And then, T.J., can you come here a second? I went in, there was a bedroom just off the living room.
Starting point is 01:13:44 Something had just come in front of the window, and the porch lights there, that blacked out the whole window. And I went out, there's no footprints. There's nothing, nothing out here. And so we talk about those type of things. She's in all of this. And so we're sitting there.
Starting point is 01:14:05 I came back in. to the liver room. She's sitting at the end of the bed in there. And then there was something sat down beside her. It was, you could, and I went in, she said there was something sitting there. You could see the depression in the mattress. There was something sitting there. You could feel, she said she could feel the weight, the crunch of it, the creek of it,
Starting point is 01:14:26 sitting down beside her. So we just talked to it, and then it just, that impression rose up back to normal and nothing else happened. but just it's like and that was one of her first experiences and I tell people that sometimes they just give you that little okay this is this is what we think you're you need to see you're here feel right at this point in your life I can't explain it it happens occasionally but yeah peeking in the window then what about the the type of prints you've found underneath all the windows yeah there was one evening in bed got woke up from stomping on the front porch, small little porch, eight by eight little porch, just off of the bedroom.
Starting point is 01:15:13 The window's right there. Stomping on there, just sound like you were stomping mud or ice, snow off your boots. And I jump up and I go and there's nothing out there. There's no snow ice. There's no people. There's no nothing. That happened three times that night. The next morning, I go out and a little welcome to the cabin sign on the side, out there by the door.
Starting point is 01:15:34 It's laying out in the middle of the front yard. It was in the wintertime. It was just rained almost all winter. We had very little snow at all wet. I go out there to get that. There's one 18-inch footprint right beside it, toes and all. And it's like, so I thanked them. Didn't cast the print.
Starting point is 01:15:51 I don't do that. And so I found six different prints. And some of them right at the, a couple of them right under the windows. One time I had a handprint on a car in the dust. there's gravel roads out. I don't live on gravel, but beyond me at the landlord's house, and I had found a very large handprint on the car one time.
Starting point is 01:16:16 But yeah, right at the windows, right on the property. You said it was 18 inches long? 18 inches long. Got tape measure out. And, I mean, it was that wide, probably eight inches crossed at the time. Really? Yeah. And where I saw the, and then at the translucent figure that I saw.
Starting point is 01:16:34 along Sims Creek. Out there, there's a ditch line that I can walk over to. Sims Creek's a foot deep, some places is four feet deep. It's just a windy little creek. So I'm walking that ditch line over to, so I don't have to go through the brush.
Starting point is 01:16:52 And I found two prints, 12 inches long, about five inches across at the front, long, narrow little heel, three toes. And they had, and when I looked down in them, In the print, it was in the pretty decent soil, mud.
Starting point is 01:17:10 It went to a point. Every one of those little things went down to a point. But three toes, and there was two of them, two prints. So I've heard, like, so it seems like whenever somebody's talking to me about footprints that they find, you know, and it's usually the topic of big foot comes up, right? But if it's not the idea of, like, oh, this is definitely a. the big footprint, it's usually always three toes. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:37 And, I mean, I don't identify that as a big foot. I mean, one question is, what do you think it is? But also, for you, I'm curious, three-toe print, does that have any bird? Yeah, it sounds avian or reptilian. We have the famous, oh, gosh, the Thunderbird cast from Texas. And that's what it looks like. It's probably 12 inches long. it's really narrow. The heel almost
Starting point is 01:18:06 looks like a foot and that's probably the back part of the leg, the hawk of the leg bending down into the mud. So we're talking like it could be possibly like a thunderbird. Yeah, a really big, yeah. I mean, I'm not saying it's a normal bird. It's just that avian. Obviously not. Yeah. Especially with the points. And then
Starting point is 01:18:22 there's like the High Island Swamp Monster and the cripple foot cast that, you know, those look like broken toes. Like they still kind of look big footy, but you can see where it's all messed up. Those thin long ones, they're found all over the country. I mean, they're not rare.
Starting point is 01:18:38 I mean, as far as this stuff goes. And I don't know if it's Thunderbirds or, you know, depend on what native culture you're talking to. They're the guardians of the spirit realm. They're one of those things that pop up around active portals and stuff. What about the idea of like the Lady of the Lake or Lilith? That's what I was just going to say. So sometimes they cover their feet up with clown shoes.
Starting point is 01:19:04 because they have these bird-like feet. And it makes me think, was it something like that, that's possible that's creeping around? Given this area, because if it's happening all in this area, Appalachia, Bo from Bump Podcast has a theory
Starting point is 01:19:19 that he believes that Moth Man might be a Lilith archetype. And so it's like, maybe, I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's right there.
Starting point is 01:19:28 I mean, right, my boy, pleasant. Right, that's what I'm saying. Oh, yeah. Yeah, just right there. And then that same. location, I found there was a tree probably 16 inch diameter that was arched over, just it leaned over against the across the creek and another tree that you might see. I didn't even attempt to crawl over. But right there in that sand of the bank of that creek was my first ever.
Starting point is 01:19:53 And no pictures. I didn't have the camera phone or anything. It was a knuckle print. And I could see mud, fresh mud and stuff going up. You couldn't see prints, but you could see mud going up that tree. But I put my hand to it, and it's just like if you took my hand and knuckle right down in the sand, but it was twice as big. Jeez. It was just enormous. You got some giant hands, too. I mean, you're a big guy. I was shaking.
Starting point is 01:20:17 I was shaking. I was shaking. I was like, I felt like I was a little kidding. Hi, sir. This is my little hand. Oh, I'm watching this. DJ is a big man. And, well, and I had some large people in my family.
Starting point is 01:20:30 My uncle Czech, he had hands that were. his hands and fingers were half inch longer than mine. Just enormous, enormous hands that he had. I got a couple questions about that, by the way, because Justin and I have had some conversations. I was waiting for this to come up. I was going to let it happen organically. He said he was talking about his family.
Starting point is 01:20:52 I know. I think I was like, okay, we're going to talk about how large his hands are. Yeah. Well, do, go ahead. Tell him how many teeth you had removed as a kid. Oh. as a very young child in one month's time, I had 18 teeth removed, 10 at one time and ate another.
Starting point is 01:21:10 They put me under both times, and I still had a perfect smile. So my school pictures, everything from that year. You had extra teeth. 18 teeth, I would have been a snagled tooth looking thing. So essentially like double rows. It could have been. I don't know. I've never seen x-rays.
Starting point is 01:21:26 Haven't had anybody any other dentists say anything since. So I don't know if they had double roads or they were coming in beside the other teeth. but 18 teeth removed in one month. And they knocked me out. Extra teeth. Yeah. Extra teeth. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:40 Like your whole life you had normal amount of teeth. I had normal amount of teeth. Except for them. Except for this, you know, I suppose I'd shed them like a shark. I don't know. And so, yeah, that, and it's like, wow. So we get talking about Nephling giants, you know, and even my dad would talk about back in the day.
Starting point is 01:22:00 Dad tell me about the giants in the Bible. So he would talk to me about the... Boy, is your uncle Ted? What's that? The Giants of the Bible. Yeah, yeah. And so, yeah, 18 teeth removed in one month. I still had a perfect smile.
Starting point is 01:22:14 And the dentist, you know, what's bad back then? I laugh about it. Now, local dentist we hadn't got a place in Ohio. Go for a dentist's visit. Mom would take the sentence as a kid. When you left, he gave you a gift certificate for a milkshake at the shake shop. Yeah, he wanted to return customers. Here, go rot your teeth out.
Starting point is 01:22:32 So we were technical together, Dennis, because we're getting the milkshaking away home. So how tall are you? If I stand up straight with good posture, 65. Okay. I graduate high school at 6-6. And all your family's pretty tall, right? There was a lot of tall people in family. Mom was 5 foot 3.
Starting point is 01:22:49 She just was a short woman. But her brothers, Uncle's 6-5. He had 6-6-5. I've got two boys. Benny's 6-5. Aaron is my young son's 28 years old. He's 6-and-7. I tell people that I thank the Lord every day that my boys came out boys because they would have been ugly girls.
Starting point is 01:23:09 Tell us how you really feel bad. They would have been. Big gangly looking things in deep voice and hairy. They would have been ugly girls. And then my youngest son, I'm going to be a grandpa in March. Him and his wife have a girl in the way that the ultrasounds now are shown it being above average on height and weight as well. I told her, I said, you may have a 10-pounder. and growing inside of it.
Starting point is 01:23:31 She said, it's won and done. The daughter-in-law said, yeah, so there was a lot of, I've got cousins. There's six, seven, six-eight. Has anybody else had extra teeth? Not that I'm aware of. Okay. No, not that I'm aware of. I got a cousin that second cousin, had played four years at Clemson University in football,
Starting point is 01:23:52 and enormous six-five, 320-pound dude. You know, he's not that big now. But, yeah, so there were some big people on mom's side of the family. Dad was about 6' foot 2, something like that. But it was that DNA, I really think, for mom's side of the family. That's where a lot of height and size came from. And I had a brother, Gordon, that had passed in 1972 for a motorcycle accident. 16 years old.
Starting point is 01:24:21 He was 6'6, 4'6, were size 15 shoes just like me. The brother that was very abusive to me as a child was about 6.3, something like that. So there was Gordon and I and my two boys. So, yeah, when you look back in the history of the family, there were some big people. I just find it fascinating that, the height thing for sure, but the extra teeth, which is pretty wild. Yeah, it's like, wow. And then you just have this weird connection. with the world around it.
Starting point is 01:24:55 It's like the unseen world knows you're there. And they interact with you. I heard the story from Justin about the Walker or whatever we're going to call it, the pale skin. And even from hearing from you, it doesn't seem like that that thing was too worried about you. Like it just appeared. It wasn't even trying to attack you. It just let you know it was there. It's almost like that even nature around you,
Starting point is 01:25:23 thinks that you belong on a spiritual level, which lends to us thinking that maybe there's some sort of gene there or something that's automatically connecting you to the stuff around you. And, you know, I'm not going to go as far as to say Nephilim, but I will. But we've definitely knocked around the idea that there could be some sort of Nephilim or giant bloodline that's passed to you. There's still some of that floating around, I believe, in the world, not just with myself. Yeah. We talked about on the way here, the Seville Giants, you know, and that man and woman in
Starting point is 01:26:05 Seville, Ohio, the enormous. Can you tell us about that? I'm not familiar. Martin Van Buren Bates is his name. Martin Van Buren Bates. Yeah, he was in the Civil War, I believe. He was a general. Did they make him a general?
Starting point is 01:26:20 Or they, they, he had some higher rank. He had a higher rank. I'm not sure of the, the, but he was enormous, you know, seven foot, like seven foot two, three. They were almost eight feet tall. His wife was like seven foot 11. Yeah. She was from, uh, somewhere in Europe. And she came over as like, uh, to do like, like, like, almost like P.T. Barnum's circus act.
Starting point is 01:26:40 And this is like document. This isn't. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. They were real people. So. And is it Seville, Ohio? Seville, Ohio.
Starting point is 01:26:47 It's below, it's below Cleveland. And they actually have their home as a museum. I haven't been there yet. They used to have a Seville Giant Festival years ago. And so they've got in their home, they've got his Civil War outfit, her dress this thing. She had a 22-pound baby. It didn't live long. Yeah, died shortly after birth.
Starting point is 01:27:07 I think they had a... That's huge. They were pregnant once before and it died still birth. Yeah. And they had another baby and gave birth. It was alive when it gave birth. I mean, that's probably like a 40-inch baby right there. It was a world record.
Starting point is 01:27:21 I was 9 pounds, 8 ounces when I was born, and I was 23 inches long. So you take what I was and then double it. Oh, yeah. That's wild. That's a lot of baby in you. Holy cow. Yeah. Came out ready for kindergarten.
Starting point is 01:27:34 Yeah. Could you imagine fighting in the Civil War and seeing a giant across the way? I can. I mean, just like, oh, well, we're not winning this. There's photographs of him online in his uniform and everything. Both them together. And how tall? They were around almost eight foot, both of them.
Starting point is 01:27:52 She was a little bit taller. I think her name was Catherine Bates. I mean, that's, that's wild. Yeah, it is. That's right here in a stable. Ohio's got a lot of things going on. I mean, it really does from the giants. When we talk about the giant remains that have been found in burial mounds.
Starting point is 01:28:10 Yeah, yeah. Serpent mound. And there's just incredible. I want to go there. Everything that's going on in a serpent mound and Thomas Johnson's a rock shop. Is it by you? I've driven by it many times then. Yeah, man, it's right there.
Starting point is 01:28:21 Oh, I'll go. Chilacothe, Ohio, with the Adina people, the mounds. There's just incredible history in the whole state. There's a lot of things going on in Ohio. Yeah, funny story about the adina mounds. There's a what they call a spiritual vortex that's happened through there and through Cincinnati. And matter of fact, followers of. Alastra Crowley brought the Thelima religion to that area because they knew of this vortex from the Edema people.
Starting point is 01:28:58 So they were trying to go to that area to conjure whatever entities that they wanted to conjure, which is really interesting. Yeah, it is. And there are a lot of people will go to Serpent Mounted Church, their crystals. They would go there. Because that whole area, five-mile diameter crater that was formed from that Astrolet, impact however many millions years ago. And it changed. Highly magnetized.
Starting point is 01:29:22 The magnetism and things of that. The weather patterns are different. There's less rainfall in that crater than just outside of it. People's batteries will get drained in a car, electronic devices. And then Thomas Johnson, you've got to get to the rock shop to meet Thomas Johnson. Incredible in his wife, Terry Rivera. Their house built in 1800s. It's built on a fault line.
Starting point is 01:29:48 There's a fault line because they're out 41 or whatever the route is. Just incredible stories because of that. And the Masons built their home. And they understood the Masons. I feel that they understood energies too. And so, yeah, there's some really cool things going on at the Serpent Mountain area. We were just at an undisclosed location, Joel and I, doing our thing. And it's interesting because some of the things that he's describing here
Starting point is 01:30:21 are things that happened there. And we were down in like a like this like it's like a valley. I don't know. The valley is the wrong way. But like you're talking about this crater idea. And I'm wondering. I wonder if there's some kind of ancient like similar thing that happened there. What he was talking about with the female voice talking that happened numerous times on this last trip where different people, including Tony and I, heard what sounded like a woman singing. I thought it was Jack at first because, you know, same thing. But not only that, we would hear, look at his face. We would hear different people heard it at the campsite too.
Starting point is 01:31:01 So it was kind of in this ravine type area. But yeah, a lot of the things you brought up, orbs, all that stuff happened when we were on this trip. We didn't. I wish we would have. maybe this is something we should think about doing is bringing some kind of, I'll talk to James Keenan about it because he does this stuff, but maybe we should start bringing
Starting point is 01:31:20 something to measure the magnetic levels to these areas. Hey guys, this episode is brought to you by Merkmerch.com. Go ahead and get your Merkel Media apparel at Merkmerch.com. We got some new hoodies up there on the store. Go ahead and check it out. Cop years before it's too late.
Starting point is 01:31:45 Also, Merkelfilms.com is where you can get your on-demand streaming of documentaries we've put out and we have new content from other creators coming to that site very soon. Merkelfilms.com. But even where my cabin sits, it's down in the hollow. And you look, it's almost like a bowl. The hillside on that's what they described as a bowl. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:09 And I had a Native American woman tell me one time at a conference. She said, I described it to her. She said, it's the energies there. She said, would there happen to be water? I said, there's a natural spring at the top of the hill. There's something to do with the water. and the bedrock and the energies. And it's also on the right side from my deck of my cabin down to the bottom of the ravine
Starting point is 01:32:35 back, nothing on the left. It's almost like a burial site there or more. The first one I was in there. Deer bones, coons, squirrels, they were two deer carcasses still decomposing, raccoon and stuff. It's like, and it was all down. I know that animals, when they're injured, they had to water. Maybe that's because it's just a trickling little. spring through there. But that was interesting. You're talking about women's voices. The one thing
Starting point is 01:33:02 at the cabin is children. One winter, I'm carrying firewood into my wood burner about 11 o'clock at night. And I heard, you can hear kids running and giggling and laughing in the woods. I just, I just talk to it's 11 o'clock at night. I talk to the woods. And I said, I hear you up there. And I'm packing the very last load of woods of my arm. I come in and I tuck my elbow to swing the door shut, and there's a little girl standing there that could thud. It hit her and stopped, and then she was just gone. What hit her? The door. She was standing at the door opening. And I felt bad. I thought, I apologized to her. And it's like, I didn't mean to hit you, didn't know you were there. You could see through her. But there was a thud. A thud. When the door connected.
Starting point is 01:33:45 Yeah, when the door connected. And then the rest of the evening, pubo-pub-bub-giggling and running upstairs. I told him that after he came. Unpacked his clothes. You're talking about magnets. Man, I just heard something recently about Hadron Colliders, and we know that they are highly magnetized. It's all about magnets. But one of the things that I heard is the idea that every Hadron Collider,
Starting point is 01:34:18 because there's thousands, is representation of an angel and these angelic beings and their ability to magnetize. It's all about magnets. And the more research I'm doing into a lot of these alchemists and occultists, they say that the true mystery is within the magnets and that it is attributed to angelic beings. So according to some researchers, they're saying that these Hadron Colliders, each one is representation of a different angel.
Starting point is 01:34:56 So there is an entity that's behind each one of these Hadron Colliders. So this would tie into this idea of highly magnetized places. So where we were at, I know it's highly magnetized because we had equipment going off the Richter 24-7 when we were there. I mean, I had a gimbal just take off. We do what we call the Scott Carpenter method. Scott Carpenter used to put a camera backwards on the gimbal. And he caught a lot of cryptids and stuff peeking out at him because you're walking by and they'll just peek out and he would catch them. But we've caught quite a few things too doing it.
Starting point is 01:35:34 But I was in an area by myself, as happened sometimes. And there was some weird stuff happening around me. I was in the middle of woods by myself. and this gimbal just took off, just started spinning and going crazy. Don't they operate on a gyroscope? Yeah. So that would, I mean, a magnet would fry that.
Starting point is 01:35:50 Absolutely. A strong magnet, like a, you know, a fridge magnet. So a magnet definitely could magnetized, magnetic. Yeah, I would mess with it. Interesting. Interesting. The, well, I don't want to talk about it. Well, I'll just say, why not?
Starting point is 01:36:04 Why not? I'll just say some things. The anomaly in the sky that we saw that night. Right. I wonder if that had anything to do with magnetized. with the way the cloud and everything was kind of forming. I'd say we talked to Justin about that off air for sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:19 Because we don't want that getting released. But we did see some very interesting stuff on this trip. And I totally agree with you. And where we're at had to be a highly magnetic area alone because of the equipment just going crazy. I mean, batteries are getting drained within seconds. Yeah, yeah. It happens.
Starting point is 01:36:38 Last time we were down here, we talked about gravitational anomalies and magnetic anomalies. And I think a lot of places like T.J.'s cabin and some of these, I don't know if it's the chicken or the egg, though. Are they weird because they have high levels of magnetic and gravitational anomalies? Or is that a side effect of them being weird that they start developing, you know, like, is, I don't know if it's chicken or the egg. A lot of these places have those things. Yeah. And I tell people, the older I get more experiences, I have the more questions I have.
Starting point is 01:37:08 I don't know if we'll ever know the answers. Maybe it's a war we're on that side. I really don't know. But yeah, it's with the earth, with the bedrock and the energies, there's something to that. There really is. I've been called, it was a couple 80-year-old Native American women at a conference I got to talk to off to the side. That's what I like more than anything. Speakers are fine.
Starting point is 01:37:34 Catching people out here in the crowd that are sitting in the back smoking a cigarette. You know, you go talk to that guy or that woman. and they called me an old soul of the woods. And two different conferences, two separate people, an old soul of the woods, these experiences that I'm having. And I just embrace it. I still got to go to work every day. And I took three years when I left the university from maintenance.
Starting point is 01:37:58 I took three years off and just did photography. And I had all the time in the world then at the cab. And that's when I really connected because I didn't have to go to work every day. I took some 401K money and lived on. it until, okay, I've got a few years to go here until I retire. I better get back to work. And it did, but those three years especially, and now with, in all honesty, with Lisa my life, she's been at the cabin, we're on the same shift, but our cycles are different so that our days off are different. But it overlaps. So she's there at night at the cabin by herself, and I'm
Starting point is 01:38:34 a half hour away at work, and she hears things. She hears things. She sees things. She I fell asleep on her lap one day, and she looked up in the entire room was an amber color. She said she never seen anything like it in her life. The whole room was illuminated. Excuse me, illuminated with this amber color. She's having experiences from day one. And I think her Native American bloodline, I think there is something in bloodlines. My mother, now, we came from the Owens, this came from Ireland.
Starting point is 01:39:07 My brother had blood work done at the DNA. And there's no Native American at all. My mother predicted the death of two of her nephews, one in the 1950s, one in the 80s, warned them. She saw it and she would be crying. She didn't want to see that. She'd have a vision of him getting killed. And the one told her nephew is a young man, don't come down see me and your uncle Arnold and tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:39:33 Just don't do it. She was crying begging him. Oh, him here, everything's fine. Lawrence County, Ohio. got run over by an 18-wheeler walking along the side of the road. She saw that. I came in. I was about 18 or 20 years old.
Starting point is 01:39:46 Mom was crying her eyes out that Jim, her nephew Jim, had passed in the Cincinnati area, had restored an old 50-some model shovel egg on the work. When they, Dave's worked on, please, she begged him not to get to work. She saw him getting killed in that car, and she didn't want to see it. She, I don't want to see this. It just came to her. I don't know if some of the things. things that happened to me if there's something in the bloodline that's passed on from all to me,
Starting point is 01:40:13 because my brothers, they don't, they don't have anything. Well, you're Irish, right? Yeah. Well, there's a getting answer for our Nephilim theory. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Two Owens men came from Ireland over here and located in Virginia than the hills of West Virginia.
Starting point is 01:40:28 From that point, the own side of the family is, I mean, it's almost a Springer moment. It's scattered. Yeah. It is. It's different. But, yes, I just accept it and embrace it. And these things that's happened all these years, I thought, well, it's my time. I better to get out and just tell my story while I'm still above ground and vertical. So I tell people.
Starting point is 01:40:54 And not to try to convince anybody, but to tell my thoughts, tell my experiences. And I don't profit in any way, shape, or form don't want to. You know, it's just like right here, these connections. with good friends and people to share these experiences. It's kind of cool to try to just got a book in from Fritz Zimmerman recently off Amazon with the Fallen Angels of the Ohio Valley book that he produced. Yeah, there's some cool stuff going on. That's something I got to get on the show sometime.
Starting point is 01:41:27 Yeah, Fritz. Yeah. Is he in Ohio? Indiana. Indiana. Okay. Indiana. And the other one was L.A.
Starting point is 01:41:36 Marzuli. L.A. does. And I've never got to meet him. They, the Hocking Hills Bigfoot Festival,
Starting point is 01:41:44 he was there, I think two years ago. And I couldn't make it. It's like, oh, I want to go meet L.A. Let's talk to him. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:41:50 Just not to worry by his presentation so much, but hey, I'll buy your dinner. Let's go talk. He's a good guy. He's a good guy. Is he?
Starting point is 01:41:57 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And so, yeah, and it just, I feel blessed. I give thanks
Starting point is 01:42:06 every day. I feel blessed for the things that happened to me. And I tell people, I said, you know, I grew up in the Baptist church, got my Christian beliefs, and my faith is stronger than ever. I have a couple incredible power of prayer miracles, you can say in my life. But these type of things, I believe, too. So I've got my faith, but I believe these things, I think some of it's this interpretation, a lot of it's in the Bible, We'll talk about the giants. That's what I was just going to say. I feel like what you just kind of referenced is almost like, I hope, an older way of looking at things in the sense that like, you know, you have this and then you have your faith and they two are mutually exclusive.
Starting point is 01:42:53 And I don't think that's necessarily the case. And I think we talk about a lot on the show, but, you know, I personally believe that the supernatural. realm is very real. And it's been real since the dawn of time. We've just been as a human, especially Western culture, been divorced of the supernatural realm. We've been shifted away from even understanding it or acknowledging it exists. And so that's when the whole, you know, Wallace raised Baptist and, you know, it's like if you, if we never had that shift, I think whether you're raised Baptist or Pentecostal or whatever, you would have this understanding that we are supernatural beings living a very, very, very important.
Starting point is 01:43:35 physical existence. And so, yeah, I just kind of impair what you just said there. I think that they are very much in the same light. Yeah, I really believe that. And I said, but I'm more, I tell people, but I'm more spiritual and ever in my life. Got me credit my faith, but I said, my oldest son, Benny, he was born. Day after he was born, they brought him into the room for her to nurse, and he loaded his diaper, changed a million diapers in life. It was all blood. And he had four of those before lifelight got him sent off to Columbus. His umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck when he was born. Blues and A-Land when he came out.
Starting point is 01:44:13 And so before they got him off on the life flight, my Uncle Chek was C.J. Lemley, the chaplain of the hospital was there. My mom, my dad, the wife. And Uncle Check let us in prayer around that boy before they took him off in the helicopter. We drove in two hours. You know, it was a very few minutes on Life Flight, but we had a two-hour drive-ahives. Our child was wise, if she did or detect a heartbeat,
Starting point is 01:44:40 probably going to be dead. We got there, a lifelike nurse came out in the lobby. We got there and said, we don't know what happened. We took off within a minute. His vital signs started coming back up. That's when I referred to hers, the power of prayer. Incredible, incredible, powerful thing. And that's happened a couple of times in my life.
Starting point is 01:45:06 I mean, it really has. It's like there's no other explanation for it. The power of prayer and healing. There are people out here that are healers that can. It's just incredible when things like that happen. I'm in, oh, boy, maybe 10 years ago, I was doing some homework for repairs for some friends up in Northern Ohio. I've been packing plywood the day before. I woke up that next morning.
Starting point is 01:45:37 My right shoulder was just killing me. Lord just let me get some ibuprofen coffee and me get rid of some pain. And I felt like you took your hand and gripped my shoulder. And I could feel the warmth and the grip and the pain went away. Thank you, Lord. About that time, my phone went off. And here's a friend of mine living in Asheville, North Carolina. I'm near Lake Erie, you know, an hour from Lake Erie.
Starting point is 01:45:59 She said, did you just feel that on your right shoulder? I said, what? She said, I woke up and I knew that you were. And I hadn't talked to her for six or eight months. She didn't know what I was doing. And she said, I woke up and felt that T.J. Your right shoulders, you're in pain. She said long-distance reiki healing that she'd been practicing.
Starting point is 01:46:16 She felt that and took my pain away from all this distance away. How does that work? That was pretty incredible. The, called an astral projection that went through, the friend of mine that told me, you just went through your first. astral projection. Got up one morning and felt like you guys took a baseball bat and beat me. I mean, physically, I couldn't or sit up in bed, couldn't I breathe, ribs killing me.
Starting point is 01:46:45 I immediately thought of my friend. Just hit me that hard. I sent me to a message, are you doing okay? No, I'm actually laying in Riverside Hospital in Columbus. I was teaboned in my car. And I've got broken ribs and I'm busted up pretty good. And I felt that. And about a week later, I was just at,
Starting point is 01:47:04 my home and I was sitting here just wide awake and then I was just gone and I'm above her in her bed. I had never, didn't know where she lived, never seen pictures of it, nothing. But I felt that she was in pain and my boys, when they were babies, I could rub their eyebrows, this real light touch to help put them to sleep, that little power of touch. And I did that. And then poof, I'm back in my chair with my cup of coffee. And then my phone went off. And it was her sent a message.
Starting point is 01:47:37 She said, thank you for coming and visiting or comforting me. She felt it. And I said, what was that? She said, it was your first astral projection. And she said, describe to me what the bedroom looked like. And I told her what, everything that I saw, she sent me a picture and it matched. It's like, wow. And then we get talking about remote viewing with our United States government.
Starting point is 01:48:05 It's like, yeah, it's a real thing. I experienced something there that's like, I didn't try to. It just happened. Then you find out about the Monroe Institute down in Virginia, incredible things and teachings that people have and have for many decades. But, yes, she said, that's your first astral projection. At my cabin, call it sleep paralysis, but I was in bed. I woke up and I'm floating out of my room.
Starting point is 01:48:40 I can't move. I saw the bright light at the door opening. That's all I saw. Nothing else. And then poof, but it's like I dropped back in bed. Now, what in the world was that?
Starting point is 01:48:52 And my right leg was just killing me. And I just, and I looked down, pulled the blankets off, and I had three bloody spots in a triangle, punctured right down in my leg. It was bloody. I got my melody texter out.
Starting point is 01:49:08 I thought, was there an implant put in me? I didn't know what in the world was going on. I'm there by myself. But these three bloody triangulated little points about like that, probably an inch apart. Right down my thigh. My leg was sore for a week. Did it scar it all or anything?
Starting point is 01:49:23 No, didn't scar. I just healed over. And I've got a picture of it somewhere, but what was that? I have no idea. So we talk about the aliens, the grays. abductions. I don't discount anybody's stories now. I really don't.
Starting point is 01:49:40 Checking on that nephalum blood is what they're doing. Yeah, we get a blood sample. Let's see, after all these years. Has that blood growing and percolating right now. We need some more. Right now, you're just like a biological meat sack, and they're just growing that nephal and blood.
Starting point is 01:49:56 They're like, yeah, they're brewing it. Yeah, it's brewing. Let's see what, 60 years of bacon, grease of lard have done to the blood. So, like, I've been. I started mentioning this on the show recently. I think recently, maybe not. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:50:08 I talk to people and I forget where I say it. But Joel can verify there's these two red dots on my hand. And they popped up like, I don't know, a couple of years ago, two, three, four years ago. Yeah. And you can feel it. You can actually feel it. Like, I don't know what it is. You would think it's like a weird.
Starting point is 01:50:27 It's like a puncture that would heal and stuff, but it just won't heal. Yeah. And I have no idea what it is. but maybe I talk to people too much about their experiences and stuff and I'm like, did something happen to me? Is that why I am the way I am?
Starting point is 01:50:43 Doesn't Daryl Sims talk about the three puncture marks a lot? That's a common abduction thing. He's brought it up. He's brought it up, but I don't know if he's really explained to us exactly what that is, but he more focuses on the bioluminescence left behind on people
Starting point is 01:50:58 when they're visited by, you know, fluorescence. Yeah, yes, biofluorescence. Is that the right word? Yes. There you go. Tacticalities. Right.
Starting point is 01:51:07 They're different. And that's Daryl Sims that alien hunter were referencing. We were talking about weird stuff and I haven't told you guys any of this yet. Here we go. I walked in here and I told him I had a bizarre experience last night. And I was asleep. Everything was fine. I was in and out when you guys got there because I kind of heard you guys get there.
Starting point is 01:51:33 and I think I grabbed my phone. I think you texted me asking about how to get in. And I was going to do it. And then you texted right back and said, oh, he found it. So I heard you guys come in. I was in and I fell back to sleep. Well, I started having a bizarre sequence of dreams, just bizarre. Just women in my past life that haven't even thought about in, you know, decades.
Starting point is 01:51:59 That hurts a man. And they, you know, and some of the, of them aren't even ones that I dated or anything. They just were, for some odd reason, popping up. And I can't even, to be honest with you, remember the whole sequence. It was just in and out constantly. But there was a moment after you guys got there that I was in what people consider a sleep paralysis.
Starting point is 01:52:24 And like something was on my neck. Like, like pin me to the bed. And I haven't had that happen in a long. long, long time. And it felt like, and I, and I can tell you that I, like, I could see it sort of. And it was something big. It wasn't typical like your gray stuff, but it was big. And all I can remember now is just something kind of massive sitting there and just down on my neck. But sitting on the bed, like someone would sit on the bed with their legs down and pin me. Now, oddly enough, I wasn't scared and I prayed and it was like something yanked it off of me when that happened.
Starting point is 01:53:12 I didn't see it anymore. It was just gone. But it was the weirdest sequence, but I can tell you in the past if something like that happened to me, because I'm generally pretty forceful with stuff. I'm not very scared of things like that, probably typically a lot like you. And honestly, I laugh because I've been punching him the whole time when you're telling the Bigfoot stories because I'm the guy like you that wants to be in the woods. Yeah. He wants to hug Bigfoot.
Starting point is 01:53:38 Yeah. For sure, I do. For me, I'm a huge nature person. I grew up in the mountains of Georgia. I connected with animals my whole life. You know, just that when I go to the zoo, it's weird how animals will gravitate to me even at the zoo. You know, I had gorillas that would come up and just hang out with me and other people would come around and then they'd run off.
Starting point is 01:54:05 Odd stuff like that. That's true. And that is the connection that you have with animals. So I joke with him all the time because he's more of like the hunter when we go out there. However, he and I had an interesting conversation that I won't say on camera. Shut your mouth. We won't talk about that. But we'll just say he's coming around.
Starting point is 01:54:27 I told you it was private. I'm coming around. But I specifically said, don't tell anybody this. We're not saying that. Private conversation. But he's more of the hunter. Private conversation. I didn't say anything.
Starting point is 01:54:46 I don't know. Right up to it. I did say anything. But he's more of the hunter, right? Me, I'm more of the experiencer. I'd rather experience the thing. And I get his point of view. I get why, because it's.
Starting point is 01:54:58 You want to show the world. Oh, you know, the world needs to see this. Yeah. And I get, I think I get the balance, right? The balance of that. And I can tell you that generally, to say all that is when it comes to the supernatural, I'm not frightened by it or scared by it, but I have had experiences where things did attack me at night in the past, where it does put you on edge.
Starting point is 01:55:22 It does scare you somewhat. But this is one of the first times it didn't. and I knew what to do immediately. Yeah. Okay. I knew what to do immediately. And again, it didn't feel like it left. It felt like something pulled it and yanked it off of me when that happened.
Starting point is 01:55:41 Yeah. Which was the first time I've ever had anything like that happened. Like it literally just lifted, was pulled off by something else that I didn't see. It was protecting you. Yeah. We've had a couple people right in and come on the show. the one guy was from Cincinnati. You remember that where he had the repeated, like,
Starting point is 01:56:01 the men in black, sleeping paralysis things. And then he had one real recently after we did the first episode with him. And he prayed. He didn't know to pray until we talked about it. And then he prayed. And he's massive,
Starting point is 01:56:12 the best thing he described is, like, the tall grays, they were very, they looked odd. Once he prayed, they were, like, kind of pulled back to. He's like,
Starting point is 01:56:21 it was, and he's never had an experience since. Yeah. It wasn't me last night. Describing this big thing coming into your bedroom. It was not big. No. And I'm telling you, it was the first time it felt like something large.
Starting point is 01:56:32 And I can't explain it. It wasn't like your typical gray entity or Shadow Man or Hatman. It was something big. And if I could describe it either way like it was on my neck. And I don't know if it was its hands or knee or something. It was pushing on me to where I couldn't get up. But it was literally almost immediately pulled. that it was pulled.
Starting point is 01:56:57 And I never once felt scared even when it was there. So that was a very interesting thing. But I thought it was odd. You guys had just showed up. Yeah. And then that happened. And then that happened. Which I haven't had anything like that happened a long time.
Starting point is 01:57:09 Nephlem stuff, you know? It's just Nephom's stuff. Well, so, I mean, do you think that, like, because I mean, I was just looking up, I knew there was a verse about guardian angels. Like in Matthew 1810, it says, be aware that you don't look down on any of these little ones the kids, for I tell you that in heaven, their angels are always in the presence of my Heavenly Father. So, like, do you think it was something that, like, there was like an angelic, like defense happening there? I think so. Yeah. Because it was like something else was there too.
Starting point is 01:57:43 Yeah. And maybe that's why I just didn't feel fear. Yeah. Already being watched by. Yeah. Powerful. That I knew that it was there, but I think it was a, it was set up for me to have to ask. Yeah. Right. Yep. And I think that was the key. And that's, I'm so glad you said that because I think that we, we undervalue the power of prayer, like you were saying.
Starting point is 01:58:11 And because there are, we've been designed to have an intimate connection to the father. And so in that design, he wants us to act. activate certain things for that intimate connection of our own will. And so people will can be like, you know, why didn't the angel just protect me? And sometimes it's just simply ask. Yeah. Yeah. Like you have to like you are the key and you have to activate that defense. Yeah. That's exactly what it felt like. Yeah. But I think that's why I didn't feel any fear in that moment. Yeah. was because of that.
Starting point is 01:58:53 And I didn't say anything you guys, and I wasn't going to tell him either because I thought it would be better to talk about it here on, you know, camera about it because it was so odd and I haven't had anything like that happened in a long time. I've had weird stuff happen a bunch.
Starting point is 01:59:07 But I mean, as far as like a direct attack like that, haven't had anything like that happened a long, long time. But that protection is just incredible. At work two, three months ago. I had a client that I'm sitting,
Starting point is 01:59:21 with at night is two, three o'clock in the morning. He's one-on-one. He can be very violent. But he's asleep. Okay. And there's, and in the room, the door shut, it's not pitch black, there's some light coming from the bathroom. He wakes up about two to three in the morning and wants to know who's in there with him. I said, well, it's T.J. I'll leave him nameless. And, uh, oh, hey, he said, I said, go be cool tonight? Yeah, I'm going to be cool tonight. He rolled over. And then in panic, he said, who's standing beside you? I said, I'm in here by myself. there's no one beside me. You know, right there, right there.
Starting point is 01:59:54 And I turned to my right, and here's a six-foot-tall, dark figure. You could see the outline of a humanoid figure, but not just a blob, standing right beside me. And it was completely calm. And I said, you've got to change your ways. So I told him, it was there for a minute. He was panicking over there. He's heard a lot of people, a lot of my friends, and says, like you've got to change your ways.
Starting point is 02:00:23 And I just felt like it was protecting me. This individual rolled over and woke up and it's just like then my instinct kicks in the first survival, if you don't know what some of these people can do and are capable of a lot. And he rolled over and curled up in a blanket, scared death, and he never moved the rest of the night. And then poof it was just gone. I felt it was being protected.
Starting point is 02:00:47 I really do. I felt like I was being protected at that moment, that he needed to see. see that. And lots of other things, but that was one of the moments kind of relating to you with getting something pulled off of you. It felt like something was standing beside me, too, as a guardian to protect me. When's the last time you heard of any kind of shadow figure that's shorter than the person that saw it?
Starting point is 02:01:15 Yeah. Yeah. down on it. I wasn't scared. Clearly. Clearly. I understand why. Now, at one point, and I tell people that sometimes my stories start out and I'll air off. And so there's points I wanted to make, you know, and you'd just forget about them. Married the second time coming back from Columbus. The wife's mother was in the hospital with cancer. She's sitting beside me. Sister Lull in the back seat, beautiful three o'clock in the afternoon day coming in towards Nelsonville, Ohio, Route 33.
Starting point is 02:01:54 Guardrail on the right, and semi is coming this way. And they screamed, don't hit her. And I locked up the brakes as a little, what was that car? It didn't matter. But the car, I had a little convertible car at the time. Like, Christa receiver was. I hammered the brakes. It's like, am I going to go in the Hawking River over in the field or through the guard
Starting point is 02:02:16 rail and it just happened that fast? So I just hammered the brakes, dark gray looking dress. You could see through her. But they screamed, don't hit her. And I went through this person, and there were sparks that came across the hood and windshield. They said, what is that? Well, it wasn't something of her. It wasn't solid.
Starting point is 02:02:40 And I had no idea. It's like, well, there was something in the spirit world that I just went through. I came home, my neighbor, he'd been there. his entire life we used to hunt together is the Leske State Forest. And I didn't tell him where it was. He said, Danny, this is what happened to me at this location. He said, that was out
Starting point is 02:02:59 by the old landfill. I said, I think there was landfill out there. They've seen her for years. It says local history, local folklore. I had someone, I told her to Annie and Barry from up in the Mansfield in Galleon area. They talked
Starting point is 02:03:18 about, there was a term they used for pilots that experience the same thing. St. Elmo's Fire, they'll go through and they'll go through something and there'll be sparks, come across the windshield of an airplane. I don't know. It's just incredible. Have any of you guys heard about the spark phenomenon? I mean, because like, this is interesting. Like those kind of things now. And so you've mentioned now twice, there's a situation where you're going through and there's sparks involved. That's really interesting. That's what I'm going to dig into. Yeah. And it wasn't a thud,
Starting point is 02:03:51 wasn't a solid object, but they screamed, don't hit her. And it's just, wow. You know, just hammer the brakes the best you can't hang on. And so that happened. But they said that there were pilots, Andy and Barry were the ones that told me that they were pilots to experience the same thing.
Starting point is 02:04:07 I like the cover of his book. Oh yeah, get that book up here. Tell the people about your book. Living UFOs, the ocean above her head, a study of atmospheric biology. It's all about living UFOs in the upper atmosphere, the stratosphere and the mesosphere. There you go. A study of atmospheric biology.
Starting point is 02:04:22 A study of atmospheric biology. Biobiologist. You can Cripsorin.com under the books tab. You can get it now. There you go. Internationally. Yeah. He's at the cabin and I've got a picture.
Starting point is 02:04:31 It's in Canvas. One evening I went out after work. There was a location there on Wayne National's Forest, a field. I'd get up to the top of that field. Beautiful sunset picks. And I'd go up there after work to clear my brain, calm down and just take sunset picks, enjoy the moment. And I had been, just up there, had my fold-out chair. It was a nice summer evening.
Starting point is 02:04:52 And I just had some signal. So I'm bringing up a YouTube, some songs, a sunset flute song by Jose Cabezas, and these American gentlemen. I just enjoying that, listen to the birds. And I opened my eyes and look out. I said, what? And it just looked like a, it just appeared in the clouds, completely by itself.
Starting point is 02:05:15 And it's in print now. it looked like a Native American man headdress coming back and another like almost stick, almost something else wanting to materialize, completely out of the blue. And it didn't just dissipate like a cloudwood. It was there for a minute and it was going. So he claims it was this upper atmosphere.
Starting point is 02:05:35 We were sitting in his cabin and probably for a half hour, I keep looking at this picture on the wall. Like you said, his photographer, he's got it blown up in a frame. I just keep looking at it. it. I'm like, and he's not, and I finally he starts telling me about it. It looks like a squid. It literally looks like, which is one of the creatures in the book, the sky squids. And I've seen
Starting point is 02:05:59 the mantle and what looked like the tentacles coming off it moving in and out of the clouds. It's a crazy picture. I tried to steal it from him, but I decided not to after stuff at the cabinet happened. But it literally looked like he got a picture of one of the sky creatures. To me, that's what it looked like. I mean, you know, I, you know, I, coming from a very skewed angle looking at anything up in the clouds. But it really does look like, and they don't look exactly like squids.
Starting point is 02:06:24 You know, when we talk about it, that kind of stuff, we use the rough animal body plans. You could see like the mantle, the tube with these two tentacles. And it's very interesting that you got all kinds of crazy pictures. Yeah, and it just happened. It's completely out of the blue.
Starting point is 02:06:39 But in those times, when I would be there, especially there, it seemed like in the summertime. And I would play like, that sunset song, that Native American flute song. And closed my eyes and just listen, then I heard birds all around me. And I opened my eyes and I've got cardinals just flying all around me. It must have been 20 of them. I'm out in the middle of a field, brushing field, and they're just flying and singing all around me.
Starting point is 02:07:05 They, I think they feel that connection. They feel that calmness. They're trying to connect back with the earth. and that was very cool. The other thing that happened there, Opemize, and it's like the size of gnats. It's the best way to describe the size of these things. Little translucent glittery little things.
Starting point is 02:07:29 People say, you've been drinking. No, I don't drink. I don't go with Brian and smoke a fow. No lines of cocaine. No lines of cocaine. And they're all around me. And it's still real good day like that summer. and I put my hand, and I could run my hand through whatever these little glittery, translucent things are.
Starting point is 02:07:50 And then they just dissipated. They just, they didn't, it wasn't like they were just there and gone, but then they just kind of dissipated on the way. I don't know what they were. People talk about fairies. They talk about angels. They talk about a lot of things. I don't know what it was, but it was pretty cool. It really was a really neat experience.
Starting point is 02:08:08 So over the years of these things happening, I just accept it. You just don't know for one minute to next what it might be. You go, my car keys at the trailer I lived in before my cabin. I put them on the island in the kitchen every day. Get off working, there was my car keys. And go, the next morning, I was alone. I didn't have the boys that evening. The car keys are gone.
Starting point is 02:08:34 I'm looking. And I'm like, I'll go through the car a half a dozen times. everything, washer, dryer, everything, nothing. Let me go look in the car one more time. I just knew that I hadn't, but I better go check again. Went out to the car, nothing. I came back in the house, and the keys were laid right there on the island. They were just, it just came back.
Starting point is 02:08:56 I don't know how that happens. But it happened to me. I think, okay, thank you, whatever is playing with me. Some of it does seem playful. I'm out on my clothes line three summers ago maybe just watched my sheets all the betting and I clothes pinned up the fitted sheet
Starting point is 02:09:17 and the other sheet. A pillowcase or two down here I get to the other side and I pin up two pillowcases. I come walking back around and the very end pillowcase on this side was wrapped around the clothesline tied and knot and I didn't see anything. How does that happen? Wrapped around tight and not.
Starting point is 02:09:35 I said, okay, thank you guys. That was pretty cool. That's what I'll do. That's how I talk to when things like that happened. I enfold it and said, now just let it dry. One night there was several people there during Mothman, and one of them came running in and I, T.J. TJ, come out here. And the clothes line where there's still good light out there from the porch.
Starting point is 02:10:00 There was nothing on the clothesline. And the line got pulled almost to the ground, and it was still out there. just doing this bit. There was no tree limbs. There was not a bird, a coon, and nothing. They were all just sitting there. Everybody was there enjoying that evening. And that clothes line got pulled almost to the ground.
Starting point is 02:10:18 They said, look like you were drawing a string of a bow. Just, boom. I don't know. I said, well, there's an experience. And I tell people that you can chalk hole. Is it proof of anything? No. You know, I tell people, and it doesn't matter to me.
Starting point is 02:10:33 I don't have to have proof. It was an experience and it was very cool. Even if you feel like you have proof of something, it's not proof of anything for other people. You know, like maybe the most common thing when you're out there looking for Bigfoot and stuff is the footprint. Oh, yeah. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 02:10:52 Like, it doesn't matter. Like, you can get a footprint. You can cast it and you can show it at, you know, the largest conference in the world. And there's still people like, it doesn't matter. Until it grabs me by the neck. picks me up and slams me to the ground because all Bigfoot are violent. Here's my thing, and this is why I've always been big about the experience more than anything for me is having contact.
Starting point is 02:11:17 I don't care what anybody else thinks because even if we had a body, there's still going to be a large contingent of people out there saying it's fake. You're saying it's not real. It does not matter how real that you could put something in front of people's faces, especially in this age of AI and, photographic manipulation. People just aren't going to believe it. They don't care to believe it. And even if it is smack-dap, the only way they'll believe it is if they personally experience it themselves,
Starting point is 02:11:46 then they believe it. Or they'll walk away. I don't know what that was. Right. Or they'll explain it away. You could experience it yourself and still walk away saying, I don't want to believe it, so you're not going to believe it.
Starting point is 02:11:57 Right. That's why with this show, I mean, I was doing it for eight years. And the entire show, I've said, I've never seen a big foot. I've never seen a dog man. And I, and if it ever happens for me, I know that there are going to be people who won't believe, but my hope is that there would be people who are like, man, Tony's been doing this for 20 years, and he's always said he's never seen anything. And now he's
Starting point is 02:12:23 saying, he's seen, I think I believe him, you know? But like, well, and, and I've been criticized my whole life about it, you know. Sure. And that's okay. People think you're doing it. I'm not trying to profit from this. Okay, if you want to, it'd be awful easy to hoax, make up stories and things. If you want to get on the circuit out giving library presentations or events and things, no, that's not me. I don't need that. And I don't mean the people that are out there doing the hard casting and the photographs and the parabolic listening devices, that's fine. That's cool. It's me. And more power to you. It's just not me. I really do. There's people's got some incredible trackways.
Starting point is 02:13:03 Well, not everybody can have Bigfoot walk right up to him, man. Yeah. Like, okay, so some people have to make stretches like parabolic lens.
Starting point is 02:13:09 You know, like, hey guys, I'm here. Yeah. Hey, guys, it's TJ. Let's go check him out. Let's go check him out.
Starting point is 02:13:15 Let's see what he's got. I feel like T.J. is like those people you see in a animated Disney movie. You know, when Snow White goes out there and just touches the grass
Starting point is 02:13:25 and all the animals just gravitate and surround him. When he was talking about, he's like, yeah, I was just touching grass. I was feeling the earth. And then they just moved in. I'm like, wouldn't everybody
Starting point is 02:13:34 loved that? Oh, yeah. T.J. is a Disney princess. A Disney princess. I ain't kissing you, man. I ain't your prince. Well, with AI now, I'm certain you'll probably come up with a phone. Take my picture and put it on a Disney Princess for it.
Starting point is 02:13:52 I can do that. I could do that before in the next five minutes. I can take your picture and put long hair and make you nice and young and remove the beard. That'd be terrible. You would look like your ugly sons that you said. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 02:14:07 There's the boys that have been ugly girls, you know. So, yeah, the Disney princess, Thirl J. And that's my full name I tell people, too. Have you guys ever heard of Thurl? T-H-U-R-L. No, I don't think so. It's T-J-T-J-A-Y. Thurl J-A-Y.
Starting point is 02:14:24 Thurl J-A-Y. Uncle T-R. Mom and Dad took turns to name on us boys. There was five of us. So I come along. And of course, it's Slim Owens. It's our, my dad's turn. I'm naming that boy Thurl.
Starting point is 02:14:36 Uncle, T.R. wasn't even blood. He had married my grandma's sister. But everybody liked him. He's a good fellow. And mom said she cried for three days. She looked down at me. And then big brown eyes, I said, I love you, baby, Thurl. I cry.
Starting point is 02:14:51 I had people crying when I was born. Oh, man. Lamenting the birth of this child. Yeah, but Thirl J. So I ask everybody, have you ever heard of the Thirl? No. No, Tony the Tiger back in the day. They're great.
Starting point is 02:15:09 Thirl Ravenscroft was his name. So there was a Thirl. There was a Thirl Bailey, a basketball player, things. But I personally haven't run into another one. No. And I say, as usually, I just tell people it's Hurl with a T. No. Wow.
Starting point is 02:15:23 It's an interesting name. It's an interesting name. I almost named my son, Anthony, after me, but I didn't want to do that to him. So we went with something totally different, not a family name. But we, we, we, uh, my wife, the people on her side of family, usually every kid's named after somebody somehow, whether it's a middle name or something. And we broke that trend with my daughter. So huge disappointment.
Starting point is 02:15:44 We're huge disappointments in this family. But, um, yeah. I don't know, guys. I think this was a freaking awesome conversation. I mean, oh, this is a bit of black. Yeah. Yeah. And I think this is fun.
Starting point is 02:15:55 We covered, you know, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, And everything in between. Yeah, we're sitting in the presence of a Nuffeline. I think, at least genetically, I think. Yeah. I really do. Let me ask you one more question here. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:16:08 Maybe we asked us already, but do you know your blood type? No. No? No. I'd be interested to find out if you're R.H. negative. I don't know. Someone else, I can't remember who was mentioned my blood type, and I haven't had that done yet. So I may actually get that accomplished.
Starting point is 02:16:24 If you, if you come back, RH negative, that's like. That'd be wild. There's only 15% of people in the world. to have that blood type. And generally speaking, there's a high volume of them that are very connected to the paranormal world. Really? And the thought pattern is, is that blood type did come from an inhuman source is what they say.
Starting point is 02:16:46 Scientists, mainstream scientists have no idea where it comes from. They still can't figure it out. My mom is arch negative. Really? And I didn't know that until we were here recording. And it was with Hunter. It was that episode. And we were talking about the RH negative aspect.
Starting point is 02:17:04 My mom was like, I'm RH negative. And then she started looking into things. And I was like, that's why you're weird. I love you. I love you more now. I love you more because you're weird. Yeah. But yes, I mean, and it's weird, though, because like you would think that, you know,
Starting point is 02:17:20 RH negative, like your kids would have that. But I don't know how that happens where it's like you're RH negative, but then you could have. I think it's recessive. So you have to have both parents. have to have it, like the genes for it. Otherwise, it'll just die with that. But they can carry it. They just won't experience it.
Starting point is 02:17:37 What's interesting is the RH negative, my mom, she started looking into it. And I don't know where she saw this, but it was like some kind of form online. And it was a bunch of women who are RH negative talking about these physical ailments they have. And when they all were giving birth to their children,
Starting point is 02:17:58 there was something that had to be done because they were RH negative to keep them alive or something. There's a shot that you have to take or the baby will die. The baby. Yeah. So you're supposed to be taking that. It's a whole... It's because the new system?
Starting point is 02:18:13 Yeah, but... So basically what happens is the blood cells will think that the baby is a virus and it will attack. So when it attacks, the shot stops it. from happening. Right. So it protects. Essentially, that's the sling. What's interesting about that is the shot, there's no, and there won't be any kind of scientific study of this or data.
Starting point is 02:18:42 But my mom said in this forum, all these women had this shot and they all have very serious health problems today. Wow. And some of the women in the forum, because my mom has really bad health issues since she in her early 30s. And some of the women in the forum, my mom said, it's like the timeline of their ailments were identical to hers. And it's like she could almost predict what's going to come next now.
Starting point is 02:19:10 And it's kind of interesting. It is interesting. The only thing I can relate to health issues, my boys, when they were young, they have a connective tissue disorder. And there's like Ehlers, Dan Lowe's. They got different, there's different things out there, more fans.
Starting point is 02:19:26 And my oldest, next oldest brother had that. So he's connected to head joints that were loose. But it also can cause he had, he passed basically from aneurysm of an aorta. And so my youngest son, he used to be able to take his fingers. His hands were buried in the mind. He'd take his fingers, put it right back on top of his hand. My niece had chosen not to have children because of it because she had issues, didn't want to pass that on. that they adopted.
Starting point is 02:19:58 So I just pray that like my son now, he's married, he got a baby on the way, that the child was healthy because they would go to children's. I would take the boys of children's or their mother each year just for a checkup mainly concerning with their heart because there's connective tissue disorder. But some of the slides at real deep recess, you might say, on the breastbone, real high arch and the palate or the mouth,
Starting point is 02:20:24 different things they could see initially. And I don't know if that's, you know, that'd be interesting to see, get my blood test and see what type it is. Yeah. And see if there's, if there's a connection there with this RH negative. I don't know. That'd be wild. That'd be wild. That'd be the nail in the coffin.
Starting point is 02:20:43 And not to say that I think that everybody that has this Nephalin bloodline has to have RH negative either. And I think there's a lot of interesting studies on RH negative itself. So I know people that have R.H. negative that don't have any of these experiences as far as the paranormal and all that. It just seems to be a much higher uptick in people that have it as far as some sort of affinity to the supernatural world. Yeah. Well, before we wind it down and stuff, I want to give proper shout us to everybody at the table. TJ, thank you for joining. Well, thank you very much for having me.
Starting point is 02:21:16 It's been a blast. It's been good. It's been awesome. It's been awesome. I've been hearing about you. I've been waiting for you. I've been waiting for you. I mean,
Starting point is 02:21:24 well, cool. Like, wouldn't it be fun? Like, like, you know, it's like those stories
Starting point is 02:21:28 where like the scary story you walk in and there's like an entity is, I've been waiting for you. Yeah. I've been waiting for you, T. And,
Starting point is 02:21:36 uh, we got Cryptus of the Corn guys here. Justin and Jay, thank you very much for joining. Thank you. It's been fun. Yeah, it's been a blast.
Starting point is 02:21:41 Thanks for having us. Yeah, absolutely. And then we got this guy over here. It's just, this guy. We got Joel from Free the Rabbit's podcast. Guys,
Starting point is 02:21:49 you can check out their podcasts. Um, we have a whole day of recording here. Obviously, people won't get the recordings all at one time, but we are recording five sessions today here in studio. This was the first one. And we're about to do a group chat on the next one. And then the cryptid guys, by the time they hear this,
Starting point is 02:22:11 they'll already know this. Crypted the Corne guys are going to be hosting the Confessionals for a week, Tuesday and Thursday show. And they're going to be recording that here. and then if we have time, I'm going to sit down with Justin and peel back some layers one-on-one conversation.
