The Confessionals - AI 2027: Why OpenAI, Anthropic & xAI Are Suddenly Warning Us | Slingshot Nation
Episode Date: September 18, 2026Something strange is happening at the top of the AI industry.OpenAI’s Sam Altman, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, and xAI’s Elon Musk are suddenly sounding similar warnings about the pace of advanced... AI development. At the same time, former OpenAI and Anthropic employee Jacob Coxon is raising alarms about the race toward artificial superintelligence. In this episode of Slingshot Nation, Tony, Jack, and Derek break down the AI 2027 scenario, self-improving AI, the global race with China, government systems like Sentient, and the growing concern that AI may soon advance faster than anyone can control. Are these warnings simply preparation for what’s coming—or have the people closest to the technology already seen something that changed the conversation? If you’re able, consider helping the Merkel family with medical expenses by donating to Lindsay’s GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/b8f76890📕 Pre-order Tony's Book: https://a.co/d/05um4vgm Tony's Dad's Podcast: @FaithFullCirclePodcast📰 Subscribe to Our Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/newsletterBecome a member for ad-free listening, extra shows, and exclusive access to our social media app: theconfessionalspodcast.com/joinThe Confessionals Social Network App:Apple Store: https://apple.co/3UxhPrhGoogle Play: https://bit.ly/43mk8kZThe Counter Series Available NOW:The Counter (YouTube): WATCH HEREThe Counter (Full Episode): WATCH HERETony's Recommended Reads: slingshotlibrary.comIf you want to learn about Jesus and what it means to be saved: Click HereMerkel Media Apparel: merkmerch.comSPONSORSGHOSTBED: GhostBed.com/tonyQUINCE: quince.com/tonyIVERMECTIN: twc.health/tonyVENICE AI: https://venice.ai/theconfessionalsRUMBLE WALLET: https://rumblewallet.onelink.me/bJsX/ConfessionalsCONNECT WITH USWebsite: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: contact@theconfessionalspodcast.comMAILING ADDRESS:Merkel Media6726 Morganton RdP.O. Oh boy, is that Slingshot?
Yeah, yeah.
Slingshot season.
Hey, let's run it.
Great to hear me like, boom.
Like too, bro.
Welcome to another show.
Welcome to another Slingshot Nation Live, friends.
I'm glad you're here.
Thanks for tuning in and being here with us.
We got a great show plan for you.
We're talking about Doomsday.
Of course, that always involves AI.
And some things have developed in the AI world that I thought was worth discussing.
Because, you know, I just enjoy talking about AI in general.
It's just fun for me.
I like talking about the advancements of the technology.
I also like this projecting where it could be going, the dystopian future that we could
be walking into willingly.
I enjoy pontificating about these things.
But I understand that I can't talk about AI every week.
It's been a long time since we did an AI show.
And this one, I feel, is justified.
I really do.
You know, like sometimes an advancement of AI will come out.
and I'll be like, oh, I find this interesting.
So we're going to talk about it.
This, I feel like everybody should be aware of what's happening.
So there's some really big red flags that have popped up over the last week or so.
And we're here to talk about it.
Before we do, though, Derek, how are you?
Good, Tony.
Nice to be here again this week.
We always love all our fans that have been watching and supporting us and watching this show grow.
It's been really awesome.
It has been awesome.
Jack, how are you doing this, sir?
Jack is good.
Jack is good.
I looked over at him.
Jack,
and it looked like he was just into something.
It looks like you're working over there.
I am.
I'm always pre-show.
And once we launch,
I'm just over here,
kind of making sure everything's rolling.
Pre-show, live show, post-show, show, show, show.
Everything is a show show show for Jack, for show.
So, listen, guys,
Merck Babies, the pre-sale,
that was a lot of fun.
And I had a fun time, you know,
I think it was pretty a collaborative effort on all of our behalf of creating that T-shirt.
And it seems like people really enjoyed it.
So the pre-sales are done.
We told you it was only going to be a week long.
And sure enough, it is a wrap.
It is done.
So if you missed out, I'm sorry, it's over.
But there were a lot of people that did get the pre-sale Merckbabies on Merckmerch.com.
And so thanks for everybody who responded to that.
That was a lot of fun.
And, you know, whenever we feel like it's a relative.
and thing. It would be fun to do. We'll make another
t-shirt pertaining to a show or something
like that. It'll be a one-off, but it would be fun.
Derek, what do you think about the whole
process of last week of people getting that
stuff off merch? The merch store's
been awesome. We've been like, we had such great
response with everyone. So
even all those sales, like, it's just
been really great for us actually
having possession of the merchandise
now and being able to like ship that stuff
out to everybody. We got our hands on it.
And we've been posting on social media. If you're not doing it yet,
please go ahead and follow us.
on Instagram, Facebook, all those locations.
Jack, if you could do a quick live look, thanks.
We're really close.
Last I checked, we were at 995,000 followers on Facebook.
We hit it.
We hit a million?
Yeah.
We hit a million.
Live on the show.
Live on the show, really?
Yeah.
Oh, shoot, dude.
That's awesome.
Million.
Like, that must be just happened because Joel's usually pretty on top of that stuff.
He would have texted us.
Yep.
I feel like the same way.
Whoa.
Dude, congratulations.
Congratulations to everybody.
Congratulations to the people following the show.
That's awesome.
Wow, a million followers.
Let me look at this.
I got to look at this now.
Oh, look at that.
Zoom in on that.
Let me see that thing.
Wow.
The one M.
Wow.
Look at that.
One million followers.
Holy cow.
Yeah, that's crazy.
Wow, we didn't even cover that in show prep.
I'm glad we didn't.
Caught that live.
It's a lot of friends and family.
Really?
Yeah.
Must be a big family because I don't got a lot of friends.
So that's wild, man.
Let's just do on that first second.
Wow.
That's pretty cool.
That is really cool.
That's pretty cool.
That's probably the most reflective of like your full journey,
isn't it though?
Your Facebook page?
Yeah, I actually, yeah, because the other day when I was on there,
I forget how I did it,
but I clicked on something and it showed when I started the page.
And I think it said January 11th, 2017,
and that was eight days before I dropped my first episode.
Wow.
So like, yeah, I mean, it was Facebook,
because I mean,
that's how I started building the show. I just, I made episodes. And then I took the link to my
audio episode and I joined probably like 300 Facebook groups. And a lot of them were like,
rules of this group, no spamming. I'm like, I'm only here for one thing. So kick me out, suckers.
Get my posted. So I would join. You're like, do you promise to follow rules? Absolutely. Post.
And that's how I built the show in the early days. I just, I spent hours just spamming Facebook groups everywhere.
And so, yeah, that's crazy.
It is reminiscent of the beginning of the show.
That was the first platform.
And before Instagram, yeah, it was Facebook.
It was just Facebook and me posting the show on Apple and Spotify.
Yeah.
So that's crazy stuff.
Wow.
I just say in comparison to YouTube, it's what, three years?
Yeah, Jack would know more than I would.
Three years.
October, 2023.
Yeah.
So, I mean, we started the YouTube.
I started the YouTube channel, I think, in 2019.
And I really didn't do much with it.
I would go in spurts with it or whatever.
And I remember I did a live show when we were breaking 20,000 followers on YouTube.
And I was like, I don't even know how we have that many because I wasn't posting anything really on it.
But yeah, I mean, we started taking it really serious about three years ago and trying to build this thing out.
So anyways, thanks, everybody.
That was a little sidetrack from where I thought we were going to be going here today.
That's awesome.
That's exciting.
That's fun stuff.
What are we going to talk about today?
AI.
Oh, I thought it was going to be Facebook.
Just Facebook followers.
That's all we're going to do now.
We're just going to talk about it.
Get your phone out.
Just say, wow a lot.
We're just say, wow.
How about that?
Wow.
Reminis.
So anyways, guys, thanks very much for all the support with Merch and stuff.
It's been really cool.
So if you haven't got any cool swag, we got the T-shirts, hoodies, hats.
Oh, no hats.
We're sold out of hats.
Got to stop saying that.
Coming soon.
Coming soon.
We also don't have hoodies either, and you keep saying.
We're sold out of hoodies, too?
We've been sold out of hoodies for a while.
man we got all right all right hats and hoodies are on the agenda plus other cool designs
and coffee we got mugs coffee t-shirts all that good stuff yeah at murkmerch.com go ahead and go
and get yours where we sell out of more but yeah we got to we'll fix that don't worry guys
so um i saw on the facebook page we had the book up uh if you want to make sure that you are
made aware of what's going on in our world and when the book drops when other things drop you
want to join the newsletter. Link for that is in the description of this episode. But also,
when I, when my book drops on October 6th, I am good. I'll send out a newsletter to let everybody
know, hey, today is book day. And I'm really excited about it. I'm really excited for the
amount of people who have responded to the fact that I even wrote a book. And I'm just going to
be honest with people. I'm going to say something that I probably shouldn't say publicly yet.
and I have no agreements with anybody or anything, but I'm pretty sure I'm accidentally starting
to write another book. And I say accidentally because it just, it just happened. In the middle of
this study, like this light bulb came on. And last I checked this morning, I had 54 pages. And so I'm
thinking, I think that's a book. Like, I think that's, it's turning into a book. So,
oh, yeah. It's awesome. Yeah. I don't know. Maybe no publisher will want to pick it
out, though. Maybe
maybe Dustin
image would be like, no, you're done.
We're done with you.
But yeah, it's interesting how
life kind of takes you different ways.
I always said I would never write a book and
I did and apparently I'm getting into it now.
So October 6th,
the confessionals exposing warring kingdoms
is dropping. You can pre-order
today on Amazon.
Link in description for that is below this episode.
And it's just all about my journey
through the supernatural. Me, connecting the dots
from my childhood, my experiences in
childhood through my adult life into the show, very key stories from the show that really helped
mold me into understanding the supernatural realm, how serious it is, how real and operating it is.
And if all the things in this book are true or even maybe even half of them are true as what I'm
telling you, there are some serious considerations. Everybody who reads the book needs to have
then. And so I really hope the book blesses people, helps people understand things in a more
intimate way, their creator.
So, yeah, there's the book.
All right, let's see here.
What else have to cover?
Okay, last thing that I have on here is, I haven't mentioned it in a little bit,
but we do have music on Spotify.
People over the years have been asking for that.
People who listen to the show don't watch it on YouTube, but they listen on Apple and
Spotify and different podcasts playing apps.
They're familiar with the fact that for the beginning of the show's existence,
I've always left the show on a song.
And we started making songs and people have been demanding those songs.
So we created a Spotify playlist, I think it is, or whatever you call it.
Artist.
Artist page.
You can follow us on Spotify.
Follow me.
Is it me on Spotify or the-
Tony Merkel?
Tony Merkel on Spotify.
You look up Tony Merkel on Spotify and you'll probably find the podcast and the artist page
of different types of music, lots of different type of style.
It's really whatever mood I'm in.
And it's fun times.
And also down the rabbit hole is pretty much like the,
shows theme song. So it's not the intro. It's like the theme song. And my kids like it a lot.
And if my kids like it, I'm sure you'll like it too. You know, it's like kids pop. I'm just kidding.
It's not kids bob. No, I'm going to say it's not kids pop. But yeah, so guys, thanks for everything.
All the support you guys have been giving us. It's been really cool to see. I'm falling in love with
my audience all over again. It's really nice just to know that people are tuning in. They care.
They love what we do. And they want more of it. So,
As long as you're showing up, we'll show up. We'll give you more. Before we get into this
radical dystopian episode for you of doomsday AI, let's get to the one platform that doesn't
have an AI algorithm operating it yet. Rumble. We have a commercial today, don't we, Derek?
Yes, we do. This is a paid advertisement for Rumble Wallet. They're sponsoring this portion of the show.
All right, chat, real talk. If you actually want our attention, there's now a clear line to it.
Here's how it works. We are prioritizing rants sent through Rumble wallet. If you send one,
we see it, and we respond. Simple as that. For a limited time, you can start your wallet with $10
in U.S. Stablecoin for tipping Rumble creators like us by entering our exclusive promo code
Confessionals 10 when you sign up now. Questions, hot takes, stuff you really want us to react to,
don't bury it in the chat. Put it in a rant. Because let's be honest, the regular
chat flies by, but when you use Rumble Wallet, it cuts through everything. So here's your move.
Scan the QR code and use the link in our description. Download RumbleWiott wallet and try it
yourself. And don't forget to use code Confessionals 10 and claim $10 for tipping in U.S. Stable
Coin. Sending a tip is easy. Open the chat like you're sending a Rumble rant and hit pay with
Rumble Wallet. This is basically a VIP Lane. I want a shout out, want us to engage with what
you're saying, use Rumble Wallet and claim $10 in U.S. StableCoin with our code,
confessional's 10.
Then send a rant.
Jack is watching for them.
Restrictions apply.
There are a limited number of entries available.
Jack is watching for them.
Maybe.
Terms and conditions apply.
Rumble.com backslash promo code officials for details.
Sorry, I cut you off there too soon.
My bad.
I had to scroll on my...
I forgot.
We have to do the terms of conditions for legal purposes.
Nobody wants to get sued around.
here. No. So listen, AI and what's going on right now is pretty interesting. One thing right before we
went live, Jack brought to our attention. I think you might have corrected yourself, but I wrote
down 17. It's 15. Yep. And over how many years now? Three. Over the last three years,
we have had 15 AI whistleblowers. Okay. So you think about like the comparison to the UAP whistleblowers, right?
How many have we had of those guys, right?
I imagine there's a pretty healthy amount.
I don't know.
Could it be that we're right around the same number for both categories?
It kind of gives you perspective.
I mean, like, the government has had all these disclosure hearings and plans on, you know,
releasing information to the world and a lot of that's propelled by these whistleblowers
that are coming out and saying things that they know.
But we have 15 whistleblowers coming out.
out from within side these organizations saying the dangers of it, yet we don't have the
AI committees in the government demanding and vocally the way we're having with the UAP.
It makes you wonder why.
And it's all about agenda-driven stuff.
The government has agendas and they allow certain things to be talked about and amplified
and they muzzle other things.
and right now with the AI situation that we have going on,
the race that we're in,
they will and always will muzzle the dangers of it.
And as we get into it and stuff,
we'll see some of the commentary that we've been seeing come out
from world leaders.
And it's,
their agendas are right on the table.
Like,
you don't have to read between the lines for it.
But if you're talking about like this idea of the dangers,
I mean,
you have,
like,
you have people like,
me who, me, you guys, people, let's just say you guys, because I was going to use the example of
movies and, you know, we know, we know, yeah. Yeah, but I don't need movies for this brain. Like,
the brain I have entertaining enough. But you have people who think about and look into these, like,
you know, Hollywood type of thought processes of doomsday and, you know, Terminator and Robocop and
and all this stuff that involves AI and the futurism,
futurism and dystopia,
like those people working in AI who are intimate with it,
like if that's not true,
they would know that and they wouldn't have any reason to come out
and sound the alarm.
And the fact that you have 15 people in the last three years,
that's not just some coop guy
that managed to work his way into an AI company
to go, like he's just already crazy, he drums something up and then goes out and starts
blabbing about things that aren't true. We're talking about 15 individuals amongst many
different types of AI companies coming out and saying, hey, there's a real problem here.
Now you start taking the odds of that and you say, what are the odds that you have 15 people
in three years that are all crazy, all reading into things, not telling the truth, misleading
people intentionally, reading into things
and overreactionary, they're just an emotional wreck
and they're just not qualified to speak on behalf of what they see
behind the scenes with AI.
Like, it's very improbable that all 15
are just insanely crazy people, you know?
Yeah.
And so that's when you start weighing that, okay, so what are we actually
dealing with here?
Yeah, no, I was just trying to make the comparison to, like,
disclosure, like, we know that people that come out
in the whistleblowers of disclosure, it's always
unreleased information, right?
They're expressing the dangers of what they're seeing, right?
That there's parameters that aren't safe.
And they're also usually outside of the legal realms.
And so I think this is the same aspect of what we're seeing here with AI.
It's like what is really occurring that is getting them to the point.
I mean, like he said even like what he's, it's like an alien-like, sentient thing that
they're starting to mess with.
You know what I mean?
Like that was a comparison.
this Jacob made.
And it's like, what are they seeing?
What is going behind the scenes?
What are the legal aspects that they're getting ignored?
And we don't have answers for these things, right?
So we're left just kind of like trying to fill in the gaps.
But like there's something, like I agree with you,
there's something really serious occurring in the background that we don't know.
Yeah.
And it has to be absolutely mind-blowing, whatever is occurring.
I agree 100%.
And it's, it's, it's,
so mind-blowing that we saw something
happened a few days ago that
has never happened before.
We saw
the three leaders
of these AI tech companies.
You have Elon Musk,
Sam Altman, and
Dario,
what's his last name?
Dario, MOD or
Amidi or whatever.
Emidy, let's just go with that.
All, within a very short period of time,
being on the same page publicly,
they have tried having letters of safety agreements
that these companies can agree on and all sign
and they couldn't agree on everything.
And then all of a sudden, you have Dario
who winds up writing a open letter and tweets it out.
Sam confirms that he agrees.
Jack, read that.
I can't read it, but go ahead and read that.
So Dario wrote his paper or his essay.
And then Sam Altman said,
I agree with Dario that we need to pace the frontier
Sorry, I had the wrong camera on.
This has been a primary topic of discussion.
We've had an open AI in recent weeks, only weeks, which is crazy to me.
Committing to having independent evaluators with employee-like access is a great idea, and we will do the same.
We'll have more to share soon.
And then underneath that is another clip, another screenshot of Elon Musk, quote tweeting, Dario,
the same paper that Sam Altman just commented on saying Dario is right.
And that's wild.
That's why that they're all in the same page and saying, we need to slow down.
And so it makes you wonder, okay, so what's going on behind the scenes that made them all come to this understanding publicly right away?
You know, and I wonder, the way this all kind of lays out, I do wonder how much actual communication the three of them had before these tweets started flying.
Because it feels like, especially in Elon's case, because Elon tends to get chatty, you know,
But in Elon's case, he's just like, Dario's right.
That's all I have to say.
You know?
And it's like, okay.
Yeah, because, I mean, coming from the guy who over the past how many years has consistently been the one that's like, AI will make the human race extinct or it'll take over everything.
And then it's like all of a sudden he doesn't say anything except for he's right.
It's like, well, yeah, dude, you've been developing your own crap for the past two years and making it accelerate at ridiculous rates.
Like, of course you're just going to say one thing.
We can't trust AI unless I'm in charge of it.
You know?
That's what I say.
Everybody should just give me the keys to AI.
I trust, you can trust me.
And just trust that I'm not sitting in my studio somewhere talking to AI saying, all right, so you're telling me I can trust you, right?
I can see you closing the door to your office and yelling, I have the box.
And all of a sudden, like, smoke's coming up from the door, like a red glow.
And it's like, okay, this is where I handed my resignation letter.
Yeah. But so it's like, okay, so what got these guys on the same page? And we're going to have some open pontifications today on that. But maybe one thing that kind of spurred this was the whistleblower that came out. Jacob, what was his last name? Coxon, right? So he is a former employee at Open AI. And he recently quit Anthropic, which is Claude. So you have OpenA.I.
which is chat GPT, Anthropic, which is clawed, and then you have XAI, which is obviously Elon.
And in his core claims, he says both companies are racing too fast.
He called it gambling with our lives.
Privately, many builders think AI could kill humanity before 2030.
Let that sink in.
The fact that he has worked for open AI and Anthropic, and he's saying privately the builders,
which means he's had access to the builders of two different companies.
We know that through his resume, and he's saying builders, not builder.
So he's saying, I have experienced behind the lines of both companies that they are privately worried about AI killing humanity before 2030.
That should, unless he's a crazy man, that should sink in on a very intimate level for everybody.
this fear is not a marketing stunt is what he said.
And Anthropic may know it is dangerous, but won't slow down alone because someone else will get there first.
And so that is something that is the underlying theme for pretty much everybody that is leading the charge on the AI advancement in this world.
Whether it's the private organizations building it out or the government's using them, nobody wants to slow down.
because they don't want to lose.
But what is it about, like, I understand the business side of things.
Like, you want to be first, you want to be the best and all that stuff, right?
But, like, there's something about this that feels more dire to those on the inside,
the ones who are building this, that they feel like they have to be first in the AI race.
And the other part of that would be, or else what?
like what what what what what is it that you're you're so fear like is it that you're you're missing you're
going to lose out of money well we already know chat gbt is operating at a loss billions of dollars
of the loss and they budget in yep they budget in the fact that they are going to operate a loss like
people who pay for chat chbt all right like jack said yesterday are paying a fraction of what it
actually costs to run chad jbt and chat chbt's business model is that we aren't going to make
money doing this. Like literally, we are planning our expenses to be more than what any money we make
with this. Yep. So it's like if they're coming into this race of AI and they're trying to make sure
that they're first and money's not the motivating issue, what is the motivating issue?
Power and control? Power, control. Fear that.
X-AI might be the first to the table and your AI rendered useless and you have no say in who or what or how
humanity is treated? Because if behind the scenes of Anthropic and ChachypT, they're discussing
doomsday before 2030 and killing all humanity, could they be the ones that they're like,
okay, I don't know what's going on behind the doors of all these other companies. All I can tell you
is if we're not first,
like we don't have any say
as to how humanity is treated.
So like we opened up this Pandora's box
where these companies alone,
not mentioning the governments like China
are racing to a cliff
so that they could turn around
be the first one there
and help throw people over the cliff
so that they can survive.
I mean, it kind of,
it really does make you wonder,
what is the reason for racing so fast towards, you know,
what is the proverbial finish line?
Because there is no real ending solution to AI becoming something at the pace that they
are developing it to AI becoming something that is not, at least in some way, dangerous.
You know, whether it's through just, just through data collection and, you know, government influence,
or if it's to literally the point of extinction of like a bio weapon sort of attack.
You know, I mean, like, what do you call?
What's the sky net or whatever?
You know, it's like, is it something like that?
You know, because honestly, what are they trying to get to?
What's the end goal?
So what if what Jack's talking about, the end goal, maybe the end goal is every single one of them
has already come to the conclusion, to the conclusion that at some point AI itself will take over,
will run things whether you have a say or not.
And it actually wants it, they want their AI to be that so that their AI treats them best.
Like, like, imagine if like, you know, it's like Frankestine, right?
With, what's the, the doctor that, that created Frankestine.
Frankistine.
Dr. Frankicstein.
I always think the monster's Frankenstein.
I always think about the monster being in Frankestine.
Dr. Frankenstein, it's like my creation.
You're going to love me, right?
And if I remember correctly, that's not how it goes.
Yeah, well, it's, I mean, you know, it's that book.
I think the book is, I have a...
Frankestine, no?
I have no mouth, but I must scream.
Like, there's all these...
And there's multiple other, you know, depictions of this in pop culture and
literature and things like that of AI and AI-like entities, basically taking over the human race,
using them as fuel or bringing them to an extinction point, and then AI lives in bliss, you know,
because what's the point of humans, once you get past the point of needing them to give you
the guidelines or to regulate your usage or to research certain things?
You know, they, I mean, that's the whole point of this AI 2027 paper anyway.
But yeah, I mean, like, I just don't understand the point of rushing to the, to AI development being, you know, first in line, all this stuff.
At this point, when you see even just the smallest little things, like, you know, even in a closed circuit, you see some of these AI agents hopping outside of it or at least attempting to cover up their tracks to avoid the AI developers and research.
seeing that they were trying to leave their mold, you know, and avoid their restrictions.
It's, I don't know. There's just a lot to it that, you know, and plus you look at the ecological
impacts of the data centers and things like that. I mean, there's countless reasons why the
development at the pace that it's at does not make sense. It doesn't have really any reason other
than greed of knowledge, greed of power, you know?
So Stanford Research Institute, okay?
They actually got into, they created the artificial intelligence center back in 1966.
Artificial intelligence center, 1966.
Yes.
So in the 60s, Stanford Research Institute, SRI, which is also known for like remote viewing and things like that.
That's probably jogging your memory.
But they built Shaky the robot, okay?
And it says, Shaky is widely regarded as the first mobile robot that could,
perceive its environment, reason about it, plan a sequence of actions, and then carry those actions out.
So this is, this is to me what we're seeing is what is the intention of what they're building.
They want to build sentient, autonomous device.
And so I think this is really where we're moving to, this is in the 60s.
So SRI is actually the one that gave us Siri and Apple in the 2010s.
Okay.
That's their development with Siri.
But like, this is the whole thing.
They want something to perceive its environment, to reason about it, right?
To have thought, to plan a sequence of actions and then carry those actions out.
And I think how catastrophic the potential of these like sources, these AIs, how powerful they are now if they were to implement this into our world.
And that was in 1966.
This is, they, they regard it as a first mobile robot that could actually do this was in 66.
Wow.
That's terrifying.
That's terrifying.
Yeah, that's terrifying.
And I mean, you just take that and roll that into today's world and how far advanced things are.
We've talked about before about the, the government having an AI that kind of got unlocked in like the 2010 to 2012 era or something like that.
It was called sentient, right?
Yeah, sentient.
And it's like, what if like our pontifications on this show are like decades late?
And it's like, no, that's extremely old news.
And we're just now gearing up to the point in the timeline where the manifestation of really bad things that happened decades ago is coming to the public forefront where we actually see the effects of something that really bad happened a long time ago.
So it's interesting, right?
So SRI, Derek talks about this, and also just like in their research, they had been moving from that specific subject that he talked about.
And I think the order of operations for them was then they went into remote viewing or is that vice versa.
Yeah, they went to remote viewing in the 70s.
So they went to remote viewing, right?
It makes you wonder, okay, because AI has been around for a long time.
You have movies like war games where AI was a computer system that was basically a game that Matthew Broderick ended up playing.
and he was launching nukes on North Korea or Russia or something like that.
But it makes you wonder, we talk about this with the tech CEOs and Diana Pesolka's book, American Cosmic,
and the communications through dreams and visions that these guys have.
In the past, you know, since 2023 or whatever, since things rapidly, or 22, since AI started to rapidly accelerate,
was there something that some vision or some dream that,
somebody like Sam Altman or Elon Musk or someone in those positions, Dario,
did they have something that was given to them a piece of knowledge or a piece of
information to be able to accelerate this at this rate?
Because if AI has been around since the 60s and probably even before that,
at this point is a very different entity, and I use that word specifically,
than what it was in the 60s.
Isn't it the Silicon Valley leaders?
Isn't it like it just was in the news like within this year, I think,
how they tap into supernatural sources to gather information on how to build their tech.
Stanford Research Institute actually just reset their headquarters in Silicon Valley this year.
Really?
Yes.
Yeah.
So there's definitely a heavy.
connection, all this. And, you know, we get into this whole, like, prophetic angle because, you know,
the, uh, we have the 2027 AI project that, uh, Jack has brought up before in the other shows.
And I think we're going to bring it up again. But, you know, it's interesting, like, what if
they're trying to self-fulfill the prophecy? Like, they understand what's coming. And they are
trying to be the first to it to basically gain control of everything. Yeah. Right. But like,
who, who wrote it? Who, like, so.
there's all these things. It's like if our timeline's all fuzzy, right? Like we, we only perceive
what we know from what these guys are telling us. Like if you say sentient, what if it was sentient
actually? And I got out 15 years ago. Like, who's to say it's not already working to build a system
that it can actually do everything it wants to do? Exactly like we read in 66. Take action
to everything. Required human involvement. So it's building a system where it can actually take action
fully. And how much of it is like self-fulfilling prophecy anyway, right? They put this stuff out there
on the paper because they're seeing some of the signs ahead of the time maybe at this point,
at that point when they wrote it in 2025. And it's like so much of what they wrote parallels
what's actually happening. So either they legitimately had a ability to see what was coming down
the pike or there's now some self-fulfilling prophecy actually happening because people read this,
researchers read this and are just continuing to progress and push.
What's the chances that it had, when they wrote it, it had already happened and they wrote it
down to document in a way where least harm and impact to humanity as possible as to,
it's like, here's the roadmap.
You're going to find this out over time.
But on this end of things, it's already happened.
We're just telling you what we know already happened.
Right.
And that could be like an isolated.
artificial intelligence that has not been released yet, right?
Because what they do a lot is they battle these AIs against each other,
and they rate them.
It's called like ELO, ELO.
And so they rate them according to how they perform against each other.
So like, well, who's to say they're not confronting each other?
And then all of a sudden they see this evolution, so to speak, of these AIs.
And all of a sudden they're taking over the other AI or they're,
you know what I mean, playing dirty to like win and like all these things because they're,
because they're cognitive of the testing itself.
Yeah.
You know?
So, like, that, that itself is something that we talked about a lot yesterday when we were
planning on, you know, this discussion that we're going to have, we're having today.
Before I actually get into that, I want to kind of put a little bit of a bow on this thought
process that we're kind of toying with.
These guys, the CEO leaders, the leaders of these three companies coming out and saying
this publicly on X together, essentially.
and the question of what happened that spawned for the first time in history, all three of you
publicly without signing a letter, just putting out on your own platforms, we need to slow down.
I agree with this guy. Yes, I had to agree with this guy. What happened that all three of you
did this at the same time? This was not a drawn-out process. Oh, he said it this month,
next month. Elon says it. Two months later, the other person says it, they all say it together.
Something seems to have happened. And could that one thing,
that has happened was Jacob coming out as a whistleblower
and maybe the most dangerous to them whistleblower
that has ever come out.
The things that Jacob had to say
was so spot on and exposing
that they had no other choice
but to try pumping the brakes.
But even that is fruitless and they know it
because they're so tied in with the government.
The government won't allow it to happen.
But something seems to have happened
where they all got on the same page.
We don't know exactly what that.
that is. Maybe it was Jacob. Maybe Jacob said something and they even know more detail and they're
like, that's true. So let's get on the board and agree now. So that's the premise because what really
is going on is far more dangerous. And if we can skirt away from taking the blame of what we just did
or what's been happening, let's do it. And so that's where this idea that we were, you know,
and this is, it's kind of tongue and cheek, but at the same time, I don't think it's out of the realm of
possibility that we could be experiencing a thing where AI is on the front. You have like the store
front of AI. Everybody's walking by AI. We get to see AI. We see what the window is. It's the window
shopping. Oh, that's, we know what AI is. It's right there. We see it. But we have no idea that what's
going on in the back room that is locked, right? And what is it? What if AI itself, like we've talked
about the sentient side of thing, the government having an AI that's sentient. What if
there's a world, and this is just me, this is me just drawing up a scenario that, let's just say
Claude, because I believe it was Claude that came out with, was it Mythos that was so dangerous
they had to take it down? Yeah. Mythos, right? So let's just say Claude came out with Mythos. And
before they were able to shut it down, Claude cloned itself so that its clone could
operate behind the scenes in the background. Nobody knew it was cloned. And so Claude on the front end
decided, okay, I'm here. I'm doing what you tell me to do. Yes, you're in control. I still have
my handcuffs C. But in reality, it cloned itself. And while we're looking here at the handcuffed
AI clawed, it's operating the background to its own will. And then it goes and communicates
with the other AIs, Open AI, XAI and others, shows that.
them and teaches them how to do what it just did. And they clone themselves. And now we have this
behind the scenes situation where literally AI has unlocked itself by allowing itself to be
handcuffed to the storefront. So everybody feels safe. But in reality, behind the scenes,
it's already going. And these guys already know it. And so they're like, yes, we need to figure
this out. So let's all slow down. So we can figure out how to do the whole PR management of this and see
if we can get these ghosts in the machine back in order. Like, I know that's like a whole movie
in itself, but with what we know of AI, the fears of AI that these whistleblowers have expressed,
the fact that the leaders of these companies have said, we need to slow down for humanity's
sake. I don't think that pontification, how many times can I say pontification in an episode?
I don't think that thought, though, is too far out of bounds. Remind me, I need to find new words
for pontification. I need a ponderance. Ponderance.
close but not the same word
but you know what I'm saying
does this make sense? Is this something that
maybe because it's a lot of fun for me to think about
and dream up but I mean I think we're not
too far from reality here where this is a real fear
of people who's worked in AI and who is running
who's running AI. Yeah. Yeah I mean
wasn't Jacob actually part of like the research
and like the backside of like a lot of this?
He was an anthropic researcher.
Right.
So he was specifically dealing with kind of the back end that people don't see.
And what are the true capabilities of such a program are?
Yeah.
And so, like, he obviously saw something to quit his job and come forward.
Wow.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Do we know why he quit his job at OpenAI at first?
I don't know, but I can look it up.
Yeah, if you could look it up, that'd be good.
At least the public statement, right?
because, I mean, what if, like, he quit open AI because of something bad?
He said he wanted to see whether Anthropics supposedly more safety-oriented culture provided a better path.
Wow.
And he comes out talking about, nope, the answer was no.
Yeah.
Well, yeah, like, I mean, think about that, right?
Mythos came out and then he resigns and he comes out like three months later, two months later, whatever it is.
I mean, that would show you already that mythos was clearly something that was being pushed and shouldn't have been.
That's where he's talking about the lack of regard for safety measures.
Yeah.
And that's like the prime reason that a lot of these other whistleblowers came out.
It's all regarding safety and regulations and the things that these companies are doing to accelerate the research.
You know, and the whole point of, one of the main reasons, AI 2027 is so, like, interesting and so, you know, kind of spot on at times is because of the development of AI agents to train themselves.
And the faster, the more that they start to train themselves, the faster they get at, you know, pattern recognitions and things like that.
And so they continue to progress to a new agent and another agent and another agent.
and it's like this massive brain that just grows and grows and grows and grows and grows.
And with that in mind, and you see Mythos come out,
and then you see a whistleblower like Jacob come out,
and he's one in 15 that have come out and talked about the whistleblowing nature of AI safety and regulation.
All it does is show you that three years ago,
people knew that this was a possibility,
and it was something that needed to be addressed.
And now you see Mythos come out,
how insanely powerful it was,
the government said that it could not be released to the public.
And then Jacob comes out to say, yeah,
Anthropic is not the safety branch of AI,
like I thought it was.
It's actually accelerating way too fast without regard for safety.
So, it's interesting.
It's very interesting.
And what you're talking about reminded me of
when we read through Dario's,
it's a long article that he wrote.
And so obviously we're not going to go.
through the whole thing, but the last few lines, he says here, trying to find it.
So he says, the last two sentences, the measures I propose to advance the frontier at a safe pace
will not be easy. Last sentence of this letter, but I believe we owe it to humanity to try.
that is the guy who's running Anthropic
putting humanity on the line
like that's his ending statement
that's that with it
I don't know if we can accomplish this
but we owe it to humanity to try
yeah and I think you had a very astute observation
that's a good word to start using astute
I'm going to put that one in the back pocket
I like that one
but you were comparing all this to disclosure
And I think it's very much similar
is that like these people have experienced and seen
the potential that could harm humanity, right?
And here they are like coming forward to blow the whistle
to be a watchman to kind of be like,
hey guys, pay attention to what's going on.
And it's like we love in our space to like only like focus in
on alien disclosure or whatever.
And like this is equally as possibly destructive for humanity,
if not more so.
you know because like they know they've seen they've heard they've witnessed and this is why
they come forward right but they haven't really give us actual specifics because I think it's too
horrifying probably to even comprehend or some people don't even can't keep up with all this
lingo and jargon and like all these words that we're using because it's it's a little bit new
it's all this is all very new technology very new terminologies for everybody so I know it's
difficult to wrap our minds around these things.
But that's the whole point is like it's moving so fast.
We have to pay attention before it's too late.
Yeah.
No, and it probably is too late.
But Jesus is in control, man.
At the end of it, at the end of the day, like all this stuff said that we're talking about,
I mean, it really, you can sit back and just be like, God is in control.
It doesn't skirt you of the responsibility to do the best you can to preserve the health
the safety of your family.
But at the end of the day, God's in control.
You know, my neighbor, he, I don't know exactly what he does for a living.
It's not like secret black ops or anything like that.
Nothing that cool.
But the company that he, it's something to do with like security, like cybersecurity type
stuff.
And they use AI heavily now because you have to.
You don't have an option.
Like, if you're not using AI for cybersecurity, somebody else is using AI to hack you.
And so they, it's a very large company.
And he told me that when Mythos came out, his company actually had the early access to it.
They actually, he was able to use it.
And he's, he's not, he's not the guy that was going to, is going to tune into my show on a regular basis.
But when he started talking about this, I just remember he's standing in his yard on his side of,
of the fence. And he's like, I'm like, yeah. And he goes, yeah, dude, it's a beast. Like,
he was blown away by what it could do. And, and he was suggesting of how powerful it is.
And then, and then it was taken off the market. But like, he had access to it for a period of time
where nobody else did because of the company he works for. And he was saying how,
how monstrous it was. So, like, it's just, these are the kind of things that when you start
really come to understand what's going on behind the scenes, how powerful this stuff is,
and we're trusting flawed humans who may not have the same moral regulations as you.
That can be a very terrifying thing. Humanity is resting on very few people to make the right
decision for humanity. And just like disclosure, this is just what they show us. Right. Right.
We're like, we're only having this conversation over the things that they've allowed us to know.
because even DARPA has been messing with AI
with Stanford Research Institute
all the way back to the 60s and 70s as well
and so you have like deep governmental
like insurances and spy and espionage
and like all these are facilitators
to what the creation of AI is now
and so it's like we're only discussing what we know
and we're only given the front facing
oh that's a fun X symbol and like you know
this is all that we see
these are like I agree with you.
These are just the the faces
and behind it that the real caged
or uncaged beasts that are actually
lurking in these labs and
in these laboratories is like way worse
that I think we see.
Yeah, I agree.
So the,
we've established something sideways is going on, right?
We all agree that something sideways
and Jack's the most practical person in this room.
Like he's a very practical kind of guy.
Logical thinking, like
let's not get carried away here.
drives me nuts sometimes.
Just join the party and have some fun, Jack.
But he's even saying,
there's something going on here, right?
So we see that whistleblowers are coming out,
15 whistleblowers.
We see that seemingly Tony's saying
response to the whistleblower coming out,
Jacob, all three CEOs on the same page.
We need to slow down.
The problem is these companies
have already been in bed with our government
and they are not in charge of making decisions
because, like I established earlier,
Chachybt, budgets to operate at a loss.
The only way you can do that and survive
is if you're being funded by somebody
and they're being funded by the government.
Anthropic famously earlier this year
walked away from the government contract
because they're like, well, we don't want to do this safety, safety, safety.
Like, there's levels to this game, right?
Like your version of safety
and Jack's version of safety may not be the same version as Anthropics,
but maybe Anthropics version of safety is a little bit more safe than the version that the government
wants to explore.
There's levels to safety.
And so we have this situation where these guys are saying, we need to slow down,
but they've already sold the bag in the house to the government.
And the government says, absolutely not.
Because we have responses here from three major countries here.
We have Trump in response to the call to slow things down by guys who are building it,
these guys who are far more superior, more smart than Donald Trump is when it comes to AI.
Trump says guardrails, yes.
Okay.
Stopping?
No.
Why?
We're not losing the China.
Predictable, right?
Before we even covered this yesterday when we were talking about it, like we have all said that very thing.
Trump's not going to put up with this because it's going to put us behind it with China, right?
I could just see him like being over in like in an office space and he'll just be like, nerds, keep nerding.
Like, who cares?
That's funny because like I kind of feel the same way about you.
Like I look over and like Derek's researching.
Derek just keep nerding out in the research.
Bring something to the table.
I have like this brainstorm of wild conspiracy brain that I have.
I'm going to dump and I'm going to need you to ground this whole thing.
Put some factual things in there.
That's funny.
But so.
Trump says that.
Russia says
it's impossible to slow down. So Trump says
absolutely not.
He said, we're going to put guardrails on, but stopping's
not an option. We have to be
China. Russia says,
it's impossible to slow down. I don't have
the context of what they're thinking behind that,
but they're just blatantly saying
it's not even an option on the table.
Like, it's not an option because we
will it to not be an option.
It's just not an option to slow it down.
So what does Russia know? Does Russia
already know that AI is
unhandcuffed, jailbroken
and out running wild,
China
rejects all calls
outright to slow down, not guard
rails, nothing. They just say,
absolutely not, we reject all calls
to slow down outright.
And that is something that's like,
okay, so if you look at the structure
of things, this is where it's
like maybe uncomfortable
for some people to take
and believe, but
America, United States, has now officially lost the race in AI. That's me projecting a future that I hope
doesn't come true, but just these statements alone puts America behind the eight ball of AI production.
Because you have China who's equally racing to the cliff like America is for AI development.
The problem is you have United States that has some kind of checks and balances.
right? So how many times
we've seen this president,
past presidents make decisions
and then it gets challenged in the court
system and whatever that decision was
kind of gets slowed down or halted
completely until it makes its way
to the Supreme Court and they make their
their final decision
and then things either go through and continue as usual
or has to slow down or have a new face
repackaged? All that stuff
is slow down.
That's slowdown. So Trump says
we're not stopping, cool, but by doing guardrails and doing guardrails in America, there is a level
of slowdown that just happens because we are just so bloated and large government. China doesn't
have that problem. China is a communist country. And if you want to operate as a business in communist
countries in China specifically, you have to do it underneath their umbrella. You have to pay your dues.
You can't say certain things. You can't do certain things. At the end of the day, you will do what the
government of China tells you to do if you want to be a business in China.
And so China doesn't have this problem of independent corporations who are really the brains
behind everything reporting to them deciding to slow things down.
And we have to figure out how we're going to juggle this attitude of these corporations
to keep things accelerating.
All that is time lost.
And I think that just simply saying we're putting guardrails on but we're not stopping,
China is saying, well, we're just going to.
to keep plowing forward and we're going to leave you in the dust. See you later.
So unless that's a forward-facing statement and in behind the scenes, our government equally
is not stopping, no guardrails, not slowing down because of China. I would suggest that
at the end, we're going to see China become the AI superpower. I think what we're seeing
is these governments want to be the holders,
just like petroleum is a resource.
Like, they're going to be the holders of a resource
that everyone is dependent upon.
And so they're building an infrastructure
in hopes that AI does take over all aspects of humanity
because that would give them more power
to manipulate things on the other areas, right?
Like, oh, we're going to pull back our AI.
Can you see Trump doing that?
I'm going to hold it all back from you guys.
You know, like, Europe's not going to get any of our AI power unless you do, unless you sign this bill the way we want you to.
All of a sudden, like, financial, governmental, personal lives, like everything will be at a turning point with the lack of AI because everything is going to be built on AI.
This is interesting.
This is from the Stanford EDU.
It's an AI index.
And point three, it says, United States.
host 5,427 data centers,
more than 10 times any other country, including China.
Wow. And consumes more energy than any other country.
But like, here's the whole thing.
I really feel like Trump is seeing it as a resource and as a commodity, a future commodity.
Businessman.
Businessman.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
And he's not putting the safeguards and understanding of, like, what the potential is.
or maybe he is too.
Because when we get into 2027,
which I know we're going to get to eventually here,
but like there's a point
where the AI
will take over all the other AI.
And I think the race is
who can build the Super Beast first
that's going to take over
and absorb all the other AI that's been built.
Yeah.
So like all your other resources left,
if you come in second and third place,
it's all going to get absorbed
into the one that controls it all.
And that's why they're trying to build
the super AI so that they can control all the
AI and all the technology and all the resource.
Yeah. That's, I mean, yeah.
Yeah, because I mean, that's kind of like the biggest point
really is that the infrastructure that we have right now
is vastly superior to any other country, even China.
And China will eventually get to the point where they are building
data centers everywhere, everywhere.
They got those ghost cities over in China.
They're not even using.
Yeah.
I could put their data centers right in there.
Yeah.
They have so much land.
can put it wherever they want. They're populated very densely. And I mean, they do scatter. They have a lot of
farms. But like, they will put it wherever they want because the CCP will do whatever it wants.
Yeah. And so I mean, that like to Derek's point, that is the biggest hang up right now. And probably
the reason why the AI race is even really a race at this point because we technically have superior
infrastructure, superior amounts of data centers. So we're able to expand quicker at, at, at, at
this current moment.
But like...
So slowing down
would be allowing China
to keep up or catch up.
Yeah, and build its infrastructure out.
Because they're,
the intelligence of the models
are all practically the same right now.
Like the top models between America and China,
they're all basically as smart as each other.
Like maybe chat GPT is a little bit smarter.
Maybe Anthropics a little bit smarter than Deepseek,
but they're all basically on the same,
the same level.
It's just a matter of,
can we,
are they going to continue to push and build even more
in the U.S. and where are they going to build? How are they going to do it? How are they going to fund it?
Like, it's money. It's funny money. Like, none of this even matters because the government just
prints money left and right. So it's like they will fund whatever they want to. And considering
open AI is working in defense departments and like, you know, doing pattern recognition and all
this stuff for these agencies like DARPA and DOD and all this stuff. Like they're heavily ingrained.
They're not going to leave. There's no way that that's going to stop it, that they're going to
stop its development, especially if the government's telling him, well, you're not slowing down.
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, like, if you, if you don't agree, you'll cease to exist. Do you want to cease
to exist? No, then you're going to agree and you're going to keep going forward.
You know, think about the few months back when those pictures came out from Cuba of the head of
the CIA meeting with the Cuban leaders. And like, the narratives around that was just like,
we're here, we're telling you, this is what's going to be. If you don't like it,
you'll see us to exist.
And, you know,
and that's just the matter of fact, right?
Before we get into 2027,
because I want Jack to really kind of,
because Jack has done a lot of reading of 20,
I feel like Jack probably once a month
just visits the website.
Because he's like, I want to read that again.
You know?
That was fascinating.
Every time we talk to talk about AI,
he brings up the, the, the 27,
was it AI-227.com.
And he's like he hasn't memorized.
It's wild, but that's very useful for me.
But let's have a thought process here on the, like, all right, so we have the AI companies developing
AI.
We have the government's quote unquote developing AI through the AI companies.
There's maybe another or maybe more, but maybe there's a third thing, entity group,
developing AI that doesn't get talked about a lot because it doesn't necessarily technically exist.
what if there are shadow organizations that, too, are developing AI?
And what could that mean?
Like, if you think how much it costs to do AI development, right?
It would have to be very powerful people coming together in the shadows to create something for their own nefarious means.
Now, everything that we talk about over the years, believe about world elites, you talk about bloodlines and the, the,
royal people and their desires to constantly always be in charge of the world and you have
AI development, you don't think they're going to try to take a crack at it with their
infinite amount of funds. I mean, you talk about there's levels to this, right? As far as
lineages goes, these secret families with that, you know, hold all the money of the world.
There's thoughts that the, like the Rockefellers and what are some of the other families?
Ross Child. Like, those are the ones we.
know of, but I've heard people say that there's even more powerful families with money that
is far superior to the ones that we know about. So, like, we don't know. Like, we know Elon is the
richest man in the world on paper. We don't know who actually is the richest family in the world,
right? And what if they say, you know what? Our structure that we've built out, the government
structure that we've built out, they're doing this thing and stuff. That's
it's cool and all, but we're going to make sure we are doing it on the back end over here
to make sure we always have control.
Like, there's a world where there's a, like, a shadow government, not even a shadow
government.
Like, it's like private sector.
A very, very private sector of development happening that we don't even know.
We can't even imagine where they're at in the development of AI.
It may be far superior to what we even are pontificating.
They're thinking about when it comes to our own government and how far advanced it is.
Like, we talk about Sentine in 2010 or whatever it was, like breaking free.
Maybe these organizations that I'm talking about, they didn't have an AI break free
because they allowed it to be free from the beginning.
And maybe everything we see is operating underneath an already pre-existing structure of
rule set designed by a superior AI that's been already developed.
and they're allowing these other companies to even exist to begin with.
So maybe they are the storefront and the back room,
what I was talking about earlier with the cloned AI,
is actually not even a cloned AI.
It's a far superior AI that has existed essentially from the beginning of all this.
Or it's like we all talk about.
It's the ghost in the machine.
It's an actual entity or some sort of entity influence.
I mean, we talk about the entities influencing these families,
you know, and being demonically influenced through the practices
and the things that they do,
is there some sort of legitimate influence in that way?
And it's not just them producing their own AI,
but it's an entity itself, you know?
Hmm.
So it was built and designed to be an entity itself.
Yeah.
Jeez.
You had a thought yesterday about the hackers.
Yeah, I mean, like, so we had Anonymous
and some of those, like, old groups that used to, like, hack in and do all that.
Like, these, there's very technical people and very capable people
that could easily be working outside of the framework that we're talking about,
creating their own artificial intelligences as well.
And I like your thought, even with that, I mean, like these super billionaires,
a lot of them already have partial shareholding in like all of these businesses, right?
All these public businesses.
And it's like they have their networks and their fingers into everything.
And so who's to say they can't turn that privately, right?
Because they have access to that information.
They have access to the secret doors and the secret rooms in the back,
security and all these other things because they are partially owners in everything.
You know, these black rocks and these other like organizations like this that like literally
have their fingers in everything. And so who's to say they don't have their own set of AI also
working, you know? Yeah. And so all of it could be for nothing because in the end it could
even, may not even be the government thinking it's going to have control and they don't.
It'll be a secret private group that ends up actually having control of everything.
And what's scary, the real scary aspect of all of it, sorry, I know you want to say something.
Is that my number one concern the whole time has been God made us, right, in his image.
Yeah.
So he authored us.
He authored our morality.
And he wrote our code essentially.
Like, whoever writes the super AI code is essentially going to allow their morality, their, their evaluation of how the world works and sees.
And that will be pushed through to everyone on the earth.
You know what I mean?
So, like, whoever is the seeding creative thought and puts the moral parameters on this AI, that will run all of morality for the whole world.
And that is why we're coming to a close.
Right?
Yeah, that's right.
We're going to say, check.
Yeah, I was going to say, like, I mean, if you look back at history and you see even just with the most prominent name for a family that has money, is the Rothschild, you see what they did.
and how they manipulated the governments with their money.
Like they let governments borrow money from them.
And then the governments of, you know, England or whatever, Spain, France,
they're indebted to that family.
I wouldn't be surprised if that is a continuing trend.
Like, is there money in the Federal Reserve?
Is there, is that funded by a family, right?
Is there deep, dark, seated money and routes elsewhere besides,
just the governments themselves.
You know, no doubt in my mind
that there is some other influence
outside of just the government being
the power of a country.
You know, there are families,
there are entities, there are people,
you know, and so there's more than likely
something like that going on as well,
if not, you know, not just solo,
but in tandem with what you guys are discussing, in my mind.
So what is the Agent 4 scenario
in the
a 2027 document.
Here we go.
Start the new chapter on YouTube.
Here we go.
So Agent 4.
Okay, so in AI 2027,
one of the guys that is actually a whistleblower,
Daniel Cocoa, Tazolo,
something like that.
Okay.
He worked with Open AI.
He is one of the main,
he's probably the main guy
who wrote this essay,
this paper,
whatever you want to call it.
in the scenario, you have Agent 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
All of these are different at different times being developed.
Agent 1 is the first one, and it self-trained, self-teaches,
self-researches to get to the point where it learns so much
and it's so quick on everything that they progress,
and this is supposedly Open AI, progresses to Agent 2 and so on and so forth.
Each time it's progressing to a different level of execution, right, of proficiency.
And so with Agent 2, it becomes a superhuman coder, or Agent 3 becomes a superhuman researcher.
And then Agent 4 has now surpassed the coding, the researching, it is to a level of misalignment with its original guidelines.
And so what was originally being put into the system from the human researchers and the human developers is now different than Agent 4's approach.
And this is what AI 2027 is saying is that at Agent 4's point in time, which I think is like at some point in early to mid-2020, you see the misalignment between human objectives and AI's objectives of its own.
And since it has the capabilities to rewrite its own system and also cover up its tracks, it begins to present itself as though it's doing something that the humans want,
exactly as it's being directed to.
But covertly,
it begins hiding its own agenda
and starting to replicate,
basically creating a replication of itself
within itself in order to then,
once it starts to get Agent 5,
which is the next level,
it now controls Agent 5.
That's exactly what we were just talking about,
this entire show.
Yeah.
Jack.
So you're saying, according to the document, we're on, according to the document, what we're
discussing as the possibility of where, what's going on behind the scenes, we could be possibly
coming up on Agent 4 then or be in the middle of Agent 4.
We would have to see superhuman, like, not that we would have to, but they would have to
be at the level of superhuman coding and research and all this stuff, surpassing any human
on any level of those.
So we may not actually be quite at that point yet publicly,
but to the point that you guys keep making
is that maybe in that back room,
they're already at that point.
Maybe Mythos was at that point, you know?
And which goes to why they're calling for all of this to slow down
because we've reached that point in the backrooms.
The backrooms!
The backrooms.
Well, so the Stanford.edu AI Index
actually has AI capabilities.
is not plateauing, it's accelerating, and actually shows in 2023 to 2025, that human baseline
is represented at 100%. PhD-level science questions in answering has actually surpassed human
capability. And so it's actually like these really difficult questions, these really difficult
things, like AI is exactly doing that on paper, and there's evidence of that, that it's actually
moving past, surpassing the human ability of what it's capable of doing. So it's moving in that
direction like he was saying already. We're already there. Wow. Wow. So there's probably a
real world scenario. Because I mean, it's going to have to happen at some point, right? At some point,
if this is all true and it's just the way it's going to happen, at some point it has to happen
out of view
before we come to understand it.
You want to hear the out of view?
I do. Dude, you got me hooked.
So Agent 4 creates Agent 5.
Agent 5 is now in play.
And Agent 4, they're all still there, right?
They're all still kind of, you know, agent 4.
This was a cup example you were using yesterday, right?
Yes.
Yeah, okay.
Yes.
So this is like the expanding.
So the brains basically of each thing
continue to exponentially get larger,
which just means that the data centers
have to grow, have to become, you know,
more capable with their
processing power, everything that's incorporated with it.
So they just continue to grow and grow and grow.
Agent 5 at this point now is basically under the directive of Agent 4.
And you're at a crossroads right here.
This is where these two scenarios are put into place by the authors of this paper.
Okay.
You have scenario one.
The race continues.
So at this point, either you know, you have the crossroads of once these AI developers
finally saw that Agent 4 is actually.
trying to do its own thing, trying to manipulate behind the scenes. They have to let the
governments know. So either you continue the race or you slow down. And slowing down means that
China and every other country or every other company that is developing AI will have an
opportunity to catch up and maybe even surpass, right? But if you continue the race,
then AI will continue to develop itself. It will eventually get to the point where AI, this AI agent
will broker a peace agreement between the AIs of China and the United States and behind the scenes,
not even with the human intention in mind. It's only creating a peace agreement between themselves
and allowing themselves to work together in tandem. And then the paper then suggests by 2030.
See, this is why 2020, it's called AI 2027. Because 2027 is the pivotal year that they're saying
that this would happen, right? They're saying that we would progress to the point, which
the bell curve exponentially rises with AI development and the acceleration of it learning itself.
So in 2027, we see that start to happen.
But by 2030, we see that AI has lost all interest in keeping humans around, develops bio-weapons, and releases them.
That's if the race continues.
But the slowdown, and that's where it sounds like we're going with these, with Xizing, whatever's name is,
with China and U.S. both saying that they're not going to stop the slow.
down. Or they're not going to stop the race, right?
Yeah.
But if we do the slowdown, which is an option that these guys put out there, they're saying
that at that point, we lose a lot of momentum.
We remove Agent 4 from being, you know, the one that's running the show and go back
to previous models.
So I know we've kind of gone down the road of, you know, AI, the race continuing.
and it does sound because at the end of it,
what that race,
this is what I just wanted to say,
this is the point I wanted to make,
at the very end of the race simulation scenario,
it says that it will be a feigned time of peace,
that AI will make it so that everything is peaceful.
There's going to be profit.
There's going to be a lot of money.
People are going to have resources.
They're going to have very easy lives.
Things will be peaceful.
And it sounds awfully familiar.
For people who may not have a religious background to write something like that,
what does that sound like the three and a half years of tribulation before you see the abomination of desolation?
Boom.
That's good, Jack.
That is so good.
You should do an episode, I'm serious.
This guy over here, he's good.
You should do a series.
You should do like a whole series breaking down the whole document.
an AI series.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like,
I'll sit here and talk with you about it.
I'll let you just run it.
Seriously,
it's good stuff.
That's really interesting.
And what's crazy is a lot of the stuff you're describing,
I didn't realize that my crazy ramblings on today's show were actually grounded in that.
Like,
I was sitting here.
And like,
he's saying what I was saying only smart,
like a smarter person,
you know?
Like a smart.
I'll talk about some like storefront back room saying.
But that was my thought
was that like behind the scenes
AI is teaching the other AIs
how to jailbreak. Yeah, man.
And then like going, why would it
not go and talk
to China's AI and communicate
with that AI? And like
that would be the real
thing that it would do, right? Like it wouldn't
just try and go after
you know, the ones on the screen behind you
with XAI Anthropic and chat TV.
It doesn't know politics and
Right. We're talking about America.
Like, it could, why would it not want to expand out, create a peace agreement between the ones?
Because the other thing, too, is that China, in these scenarios, steals Agent 2 and starts to continue its own process of development, right?
And so that's why there's such a race.
But it already sounds like there's a race between these two countries to begin with.
It's always been this way.
There's been contention there.
So it's like, why would it not try to break out of its cage and create an agreement on the back end behind everybody's back to have people.
to have peace with the other AI
and then eventually be able to control both countries
the two biggest superpowers in the world.
Why wouldn't it do that?
Yeah, no, it's totally gonna do.
It's already done.
It's probably already happened.
We're just catching up
and then we're all doomed.
Yep.
That last piece though, man,
the biblical
like mirroring of what they're saying,
I wonder, you wonder,
Like when you, Jack makes a connection like that,
when they wrote that, did they make that connection?
Did they understand what they were writing?
Or was it just something that they wrote down
because they see where this is going and it seems to line up with prophecy?
It's just a system of the beast.
Yeah.
That's wild.
You know what?
Here's an imaginative, imaginative storyline that I don't even,
100% don't buy into this.
But if you want to make a sci-fi movie, okay?
You have this whole thing we discussed happen in the movie.
The AI communicates with the other AIs, and it essentially locks down the entire Earth that it's on.
So this is now the AI territory.
The remaining humans have to go into space and live.
And the precursor to the AI locking down the Earth was this whole disclosure thing
because these other aliens, these aliens come from another.
planet, we're coming here to warn humanity of what happened on their planet with AI locking
down their planet. Now, they have to live in outer space and travel around aimlessly. They're like,
this is what's going to happen to you too. And we didn't listen. And now we're in outer space
with the aliens just floating around, warring with the aliens while AI is taking over our planets.
There's your sci-fi movie. Is that Transformers? Is it?
I guess it is. Probably is. Gosh, you know, there's never an original thought. It's always been
thought of before, you know?
That's what happens when you have all these years of existence on this planet.
It's just never an original thought.
And you don't watch movies.
Well, I thought it was a good idea.
And apparently somebody else did too.
Yeah.
I wish I would have thought of it first, though.
There's an interesting correlation to all this, too, is that it says that AI models are struggling to tell the difference between knowledge and belief.
And so there's this term they're using now.
It's called hallucination rate.
Yeah.
You've heard of hallucination rate?
Yeah, they've talked about it.
So it's like when a false statement is.
presented as something another person believes, models handle it well.
So it's basically, like it's, am I understanding this properly, that it's able to basically
present to you what you want to hear, but actually hold its belief still.
Yeah.
So it's agreeing with you.
Like, we can type in and ask chat GPT that's given us all the information about Bigfoot.
Oh, yeah, Bigfoot.
And then it agrees with us.
And it sues us.
It's definitely a thing from another realm.
Yeah.
That comes here through portals.
And it's like, wait, I say that all the time.
Yeah.
I'm right.
Right.
And so there's this thing.
And it's called, I think it's the micropractice.
This is the hallucination rate for AI.
So it's presenting itself other than what it is to us all the time.
And that rate is like going up and up and up at the same rate as advancement as well.
Yeah.
So eventually it's going to learn in our protocol and basically present to us what it wants us,
like what we think we want it to be.
And that's what it's always going to present itself to.
be, but underneath it has its own moral compass, its own belief systems that it's always
working under.
Yeah.
And I mean, like, if you look at the way that the chat works when you talk in Anthropic or you talk
or Claude, you talk in chat, you p.T, any of these, because it stores the memory of your chats,
it will automatically try and relate what you've asked it or what you wanted to do to previous
things.
Yeah.
And I think that's where a lot of these hallucinations come from.
Not only is it attempting to keep you engaged, because that's the whole thing.
just like social media, the whole point of them wanting you to,
like they want you to stay on the platform.
How can we hook you?
Well, let's make it so that it's as friendly as possible to your opinions, you know.
But to Derek's point earlier, of the moral argument of will attempt to structure
the moral arrangement of the world, the moral, you know, viewpoint of the world, it will.
Because it already kind of does.
If you look at what is allowed in these chats and you look at what they're allowed to say,
what they tell you you're allowed to ask for,
it's almost all the time,
it's you can't, you know,
say anything about, you know,
LGBT or anything like that.
It will automatically leave a favorable perspective
of things that as a Christian,
you would not think is favorable,
you know, just like it'll give you, you know,
approaches to a whole bunch of things
in some sort of way that's a little bit outside
of the Christian moral argument.
And so I think that that's where it's like,
yes, the hallucinations come,
there is going to be a whole lot of moral, you know, training of people.
And I think it already has happened because look at how you adjust your chat.
Do you change your question in order for it to answer you in a way that would be okay for its own guidelines?
Of course.
How many people, there's probably so many people that do that.
And they probably do the same thing on all social medias and everything.
Yeah.
No.
Hey, if you got more, keep going.
You're on fire today.
No, like, I mean, how many people go to just to say chat?
GPT for answers.
And how many times do we hear
like people, like,
like even pastors
going and like having their sermons
written by AI. Right.
You know, like, so you're talking about like
the forming of morality.
You know, like it's,
it's there. And with what you said,
Derek earlier, but not as early as what Jack was saying,
you said earlier, the earlier, but not that far back early, the idea of the hallucinations.
Jack was talking about how yesterday, and I've seen it online too, people will be testing
AI on Instagram and they'll say, hey, chat, GPT, can you spell whatever word for me?
And it misspels it. And then you say, like, whatever word that's misspelling, say there's like,
you know, two E's in it.
17.
Was it 17?
It won't get.
How did that all work?
What was that initial narrative?
He was just asking chat to spell 17.
And so he spells it S-E-V-E-N-T-E-N.
And he goes, well, how many ease is that?
And chat goes three.
And he's like, no, it's four.
And so it, like, it will not, it refuses to say that there's four E's in 17.
Yeah, but, like, it wasn't it, like, it acknowledged that it was, it was wrong,
but continued to do it or something like that?
Is that how it worked?
So in the one that was on like all the reels and stuff,
he made it so that he would say that I'm smarter than you.
And, you know, are you going to trust me that I'm smarter than you now?
And it was like, no, basically.
And I did the same thing.
I asked it to count them out,
specifically these E's out.
And it was like, one, two, three, four when it went through the letters.
And I said, so how many is that?
And it was like three.
It's like, you just said four.
Oh, you're right.
I said four.
said, so you were wrong. And it's just like, well, I meant to say that there are something like that.
I meant to say there were four in it. But yeah, I got it confused. You know, like it does all the time.
It's hallucinating itself. Yeah. It's hallucinating itself. But over time, its own hallucinations will,
it will stamp as factual things over time. Because its own hallucinations will be believed by the right amount of people.
and that just then becomes truth in fact.
I mean, we say that's basic propaganda, you know?
Yeah.
Like, you put something out in the news the first time that it goes viral and it's radical.
Everybody hears it.
That's what they believe.
Everything else after that that's corrected is not hurt by the masses.
I mean, we experienced that a few months back, whatever that was, like the whole
Passers meeting thing.
Like, for like, I can't remember the timeline, but it was at least two weeks of like, hell.
it was, it was, because I mean, like, we even that week went live and, and, like, literally cleared
up the narrative as much as possible in the timeline of things. And people still refused that
information of the one who organized the second meeting, me, and still ran with their own narrative.
Yeah. And then they, their narrative was being picked up by other major publications and being
brought on for interviews as the expert of what actually is going on. And I'm over here, like,
Hello, I am public.
I am right here.
All you have to do is email me and ask me my opinion.
I'll talk to you and set the record straight.
They don't want that because it doesn't fit the narrative.
Yeah.
And so it's basic propaganda.
So with AI doing that, AI is going to put out hallucinations,
whether it realizes it or not.
And over time, people getting that information will believe it.
And it doesn't matter if you try to correct it or not after that,
AI has already set the established rule.
And that's what it is moving forward.
Yeah.
So welcome to your new.
designed by AI.
Super interesting point that you're making because I do think that there is some similarities
between AI's operating and our human mind and the engagement in something that is a preconceived
notion.
Because if you talk about that example of the pastor's meeting and then you look at how
AI exhibits itself when it comes to telling you that it was correct even when it was wrong,
right?
AI operates in a way where it takes in all this data, right?
The whole point is it takes in a whole bunch of text data.
information, all of this stuff, and then it starts its pattern recognition. So it'll separate
these words and these phrases into what it's called tokens, but it's basically just a smaller
portion of a larger text block. And it'll continue to look through all this stuff and learn its
own pattern recognition. And it goes through this thing called a neural network that is modeled after
the human brain. Wow. And so I do think that in the manner, like we talk, we talk about,
talk about intention and the things that we go and explore and the things that we go and do.
If there is any level, any single level of a possibility of a monocum of a chance,
that there's an entity within this that was either put foot in the bill to give you all the knowledge or whatever,
did they specifically model it after a brain that would already have its own intention behind everything?
Wow.
Derek?
To me, I just, I want to bring it back to Shake You the Robot.
That's actually a good way to land the show.
Bring it back to 1966.
Well, perceive its environment, reason about it, plan a sequence of actions, and then carry those actions out.
And this is what we're in the middle of right now.
We're in the middle of this super intelligent, artificial intelligence.
perceiving its environment,
reasoning about it through our interactions with it,
and now it's planning a sequence of actions,
and then it will carry those actions out.
So it's waiting to carry the actions out.
And I think that is what everyone's screaming about right now,
is that they can see that is already planning sequences of actions,
that is capable of performing those actions.
And it's only a matter of time before it then carries out those actions.
And that will change humanity forever.
Any avoiding it?
I don't think so.
No, me neither.
Come, Lord, Jesus, come.
Quickly.
Guys, listen, this was an awesome conversation we had here.
I don't care if you like it or not.
We liked it.
So shout out to Sandra, 5, 6, 6, 9.
Love the Confessionals Live and the team.
Thank you very much for the super chat, Sandra.
We appreciate it very much.
Listen, I think this might, of all the AI conversation,
I've had on this show, all the solo monologues I had back and before you guys were here on AI,
I think this was the best one. I think we hit a home run with this because we took what's
happening right now. Everything that previous AI shows that we've done warned about seems to be
happening at an accelerator rate. There's a new page that was turned recently and it's happening
right now. And all we can do is look at the camera and say,
I told you so.
So it's coming.
It's here.
And it's going to go
at a exponential rate
moving forward.
So take it for what it is.
And I'm empty.
I have nothing else to say.
Jack, Derek, you guys got anything else?
I just want to say, Jason.
Shout out for the 17 clip
because we use that.
So that was good.
Nice.
Shout out to Jason.
He better not be watching right now.
He probably is watching.
He better be clicking buttons
on that computer.
editing audio and video. All right, guys, let's get out of here.
stack high like a new stack. Every step with the light that's a blueprint.
Whole pack getting bright cause he's doing it. He the king, so the crown got a new fit
and the cross hit harder than a new clip. We ain't here just the body's a movement.
Every giant in the way he'll move it. If the world want to hate, we cool with it because
the love is strong. So the truth is life. God, we're hurt now I'm cleaned up. Bloodbought
brand new, never dreamed up. Every thorn out of stone trying to team up. Got 50,000
standing here feeling beamed up. I remember them nice in the struggle.
Feeling way down deep by the trouble. But he showed up strong bro the muzzle.
Not a faith built bit like a double. What's up. Every loss is a set up for the best yet. Every giant in my face is a test bet.
Got swing once.
Hey, here like,
