The Confessionals - America's Vampire Underground: Blood Rituals & the Lost Netflix Documentary | Slingshot Nation

Episode Date: August 14, 2026

On this episode of Slingshot Nation, we dive into the disturbing world of American vampires, beginning with the mysterious death of George Gall and claims that he was sacrificed as part of occult vam...pire activity. His story was set to be explored in the Netflix documentary "Vampires in the Gem City", but the project was unexpectedly cancelled just before its release date. We connect that case to other strange accounts and encounters recorded on The Confessionals, including James’ terrifying experience from Episode 512, Desert Portal Death Cults. From occult rituals and secret groups to bizarre firsthand encounters, we explore whether these stories are isolated incidents or pieces of something much larger. Starting point is 00:00:00 Oh boy! Is that a slingshot? Yeah, yeah. Slingshot season. Hey, let's run it. Grace hit me like, boom, can't miss. God with you. Welcome to Slingshot Nation, everybody. How you doing?
Starting point is 00:00:30 Thanks for being here. I am so glad to be here. And it is going to be a good show. We're going to be talking about vampires, the underground, the American underground of vampires. and who would have known there's such a thing here on the Confessionals platform, we know, we know, and we're going to share it with you guys. Today we got Derek here in studio, Derek, how you doing, man?
Starting point is 00:00:51 Good, man. It's always excited to be part of this craziness. Yes. Good time. Yes. And before we pass it on to Jack, the trailer that you guys just saw was cut off just a little too soon. And Jack was saying in the trailer,
Starting point is 00:01:08 Oh, no, wrong asylum. So it will make sense as the show goes on, but it cut off a little soon. Jack, how you doing, man? I am good. You look just like you did in the AI video. Thank you. Yeah. So how's the air?
Starting point is 00:01:23 It makes you look good. So he wasn't really getting chased by girls. No, but that's wishful thinking. We are going to make sure that happens very soon, very soon. We are constantly looking to set Jack up with somebody. And he hates it. I know. I know he hates it.
Starting point is 00:01:39 He hates it. He wishes I was just butt out. But I don't know. It's my mic. It's my mic. It's my show. It's my show. If you don't like it, leave. Don't leave. Seriously, don't leave, though. I don't want you to leave. So anyways, we're going to have a great time today talking vampires, the underground possibilities. We're going to feature a story that kind of spawn this line of thinking for us over the last week or so. I would say, you know, before we get too far into it, Jason, how you doing, man? I forgot you're here. Yeah. I'm the new guy. So, you know, I'm easy. you forget. No, don't say that. Don't say that. No, I, I, uh, I don't remember exactly what it was, but we were in a meeting for a different Slingshot Nation and the idea of vampires came up. And I was like, we should do show on vampires or somebody said that. It might have been, I don't remember exactly who, who brought up the idea, but it definitely was. I think I brought
Starting point is 00:02:36 it up because you sent me an actual, like, file with all these interesting articles that, you you forgot that you sent. And then I was like, oh, yeah, we're going to do the vampires? Yeah. It was something like that. But, and then Jason, like, overheard in the background, he's like, did somebody say vampires? Yeah, exactly. You were right. It's exactly how that happened. Yeah. So it's going to be a good time today. Before we get into that aspect of things, I just want to remind you guys that we are doing pre-sales for my book, The Confessionals, Exposing War and Kingdoms. This is a book that I wrote. It is coming out in October. And perfect timing for,
Starting point is 00:03:11 for the Halloween time. Everybody's always into the spookies and the supernatural. And this book is filled with extreme supernaturalism. And it's basically me documenting my journey through my life from childhood into how the show came together and stories that I've uncovered on the show that developed my brain into this weird, whatever you want to call it, soup of theology and how I view the supernatural, which is, I would say a little different than your mainstream perspectives.
Starting point is 00:03:47 And it all stems from my own personal experiences tied in with things that I've covered on the show. And some of the things I've been able to verify. And it just led me to this route of the supernatural is real. And there is a war happening beyond our physical sight. And the more we understand that, the more we can armor up. because a lot of times people live their life, walking through life, ignorantly,
Starting point is 00:04:12 not totally comprehending the fact that every day, everywhere they go, there is an enemy seeking their destruction. And if they're not on guard, if they're not armored up, bad things can happen. And they always say,
Starting point is 00:04:24 why do bad things always happen to me? You know? And so I'm hoping that this book can be a helpful thing for people, but also something that just is engaging and maybe even entertaining, you know, like maybe chapter four with me,
Starting point is 00:04:38 getting beat up by a Satanus in his house you find entertaining. And if that's what I can bring to your life, then perfect, you know? But yeah, the confessionals, exposing war in kingdoms, the hidden truth behind UFOs, cryptids, and spiritual warfare.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Go ahead and get your pre-order today on Amazon. The link is in description of this episode. Thank you very much. Also, I'm trying to remember what else I was supposed to say, guys. Newsletter. That's right. It was something new, and I couldn't remember that it was a newsletter.
Starting point is 00:05:13 We have a newsletter. If you haven't heard, now you heard. We are trying to, you know, do something that I should have done years ago. In fact, I actually did do this years ago. And it's funny because I had thousands of people on my newsletter. And then, like I often do, I have an idea and I just do it. And that idea was, tired of this newsletter. Let's get rid of it.
Starting point is 00:05:40 I just deleted the newsletter. So the years of emails and people who do this kind of stuff, like having access to the people who want you to have access to them, that's invaluable. You know, especially in the world of censorship. And people say, I mean, we hear it all the time. Oh, I didn't know that you. I missed that episode. To have, you know, access to people is a good thing. And I was just like, ah, done with this newsletter thing.
Starting point is 00:06:05 We're done. And just deleted it. So now we're starting over. Last I checked, but I think we had 30. So we got ways to go. But if you're interested in staying in the loop and what's coming down the road and stuff with me, consider signing up for the newsletter. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:22 So that's good stuff. You guys got anything else you want to add to that? I thought it was really cool. The idea, I mean, you sent it out yesterday to me and, you know, how's this look? And it was awesome. I was excited. This is so funny No, it's funny because
Starting point is 00:06:39 I would I love you, Jason I was, I was, I was Never mind. I think we're all thinking the same thing. We're just going to let it go though. So anyways, go ahead and sign up for a newsletter. You're doing good, Jason.
Starting point is 00:07:02 But yeah, so those are the things we have. for you announcements that we have for you today. Check those things out. The book, pre-order newsletter, just sign up for the newsletter. And we also have a sponsorship for today. So we have a sponsor for the episode. I almost called you Jack. Derek. Go ahead. Jack's reading it. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Did we cover that in the pre-show? I don't know. We did. Yeah, it's okay. So this is a paid advertisement from Rumble Wallet. Quick question. It's really quick. Good question. How much control do you have over your money right now? A question that we don't often think about. Ooh, technology has changed everything and now it's changing how money works. Crypto started as a niche, but now it's going mainstream. Faster payments, more control, fewer middlemen. This isn't hype. What do you say? What do you say in town?
Starting point is 00:07:59 No, no. Let's keep going. I was talking about. Okay. All right. That's good. Fewer middlemen. That's very important. Thank you, Jack. Yeah, no, Jack, I was confiding to Derek off camera.
Starting point is 00:09:45 Well, it's distracting because you're right my view. I was literally telling Derek how I feel off and I don't, I feel like I don't have the energy that I need. And then you amplify that with, what do you say, Tony? You suck? Let me put you back on the camera. It literally was like you're in my... I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:10:02 I was just hoping that you would... You saw the microphones away from my mouth that I was at... trying to, I was trying to have a private moment. He was not bad-mouthing you in the middle of your ad ad, I was not. I thought you did great. Um, so we are doing, uh, vampires today. And that, listen, vampires is something that I feel has the stigma that dog man had 15 years ago. So, like, I mean, when I first started hearing about the, the thing of dog man, I was, I remember, I was online and I would say like, you mean werewolf? And they would get mad. They would get so mad. They're like, no, dog man, two different things. I'm like, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:10:37 is it really though? You know? Like, is it really? I don't know. And now with the vampire side of things, I feel like it has that kind of vibe where it's like, if you bring up vampires like, yeah, yeah, okay. That's Hollywood, you know?
Starting point is 00:10:50 Reality is there is a whole side of vampires and Hollywood that has been exaggerated. You know, if I understand correctly, I've never read the book. I can't even think of the title of it, but the one with Dracula and what's called? Ram Stoker's. Yeah. Dracula. Like, he's, what's it called? Dracula.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Dracula. Okay. That's what it's called? Yeah, it's Bram Stoker's Dracula or like the author. Oh, okay. I thought it had a different name. The classic story of Dracula. Yeah. Oh, okay. Well, there you go. Learn something new every day. I actually answered my own question. Are you thinking about the original movie? That's Nassphratu.
Starting point is 00:11:25 No, you know what I'm thinking about? I'm thinking about the actual movie with Frankenstein. That's what I was thinking, which was that, what's that movie called? Young Frankenstein. What was it? Young Frankenstein. That's what I was thinking of, but totally different things. or ring it back to vampires. But anyways, from what I understand, in Dracula, the book, Dracula is not portrayed like he is in Hollywood. Have you read the book?
Starting point is 00:11:48 No. Oh, do you haven't? Jason? I've not just seen the movies. We should have read the book before we started this show. Jack, have you read the book? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Anyways, that's what I hear. So there is an element of that where Hollywood has kind of magnified things and stuff like that. But there is a very real element. of people in the world, and there is a huge subculture here in the United States, of people who pursue vampire lifestyles. And there are connections to live action role plays, to people who believe that they are vampires and act out in that manner because they're not just roleplaying. They actually believe they are. And then there's people who believe they are because they transform their bodies through occult rituals. and they now do things that are pretty inhuman.
Starting point is 00:12:40 And so we'll get into these different side of things today. But what kind of brought all this to the forefront is a story that we came across. I'm going to give a shout out to this man's, I guess, widow, right, Helen Gall. She is still alive. and from what I understand, she wants to tell her story. She wants to share her husband's story. And as we get into this, it's going to be seemingly oddly peculiar and apparent maybe that there's an effort to not have her tell her husband's story. At least that's what it seems like possibly on the surface.
Starting point is 00:13:25 But with this story, and please feel free to jump in and feel free to jump in and feel gaps in wherever is needed, because I'm just going to kind of try to do this from memory. They were newlyweds. Her husband's name was George, and he comes home from work, and they got an argument about something. And he decides to leave, go blow off steam, and this is in the Dayton, Ohio area. And he takes a city bus downtown. He leaves the family car at home. And when he gets off the bus, the last person ever saw him was the bus driver, at least officially. I think, obviously, somebody saw
Starting point is 00:14:06 him after that, but the last known person is a bus driver. And he was going into the direction of a nightclub called the asylum. And that's why I thought it was a good play of words for the trailer. Unfortunately, maybe we can play it at some point. Not now, though, but
Starting point is 00:14:23 like, nah, let go. Just let it go. Just let it go. I mean, it's not a good. won't be posted on social. Yeah, that's true. That's true. So the assumption, I would say, is that he went to the asylum because that's where he was seen walking towards. But he was never seen again.
Starting point is 00:14:44 And there's some really mysterious things about this club, this nightclub, the asylum. And Dayton, Ohio's underground network of vampires, it's what? it's not first. It's a second most vampires in the country. Is that correct? Yeah. There was a study done by like the New Orleans Vampire Association or whatever. And so New Orleans is first and Dayton, Ohio was second. Did they say how many were in New Orleans? It's in the thousands, I think. Yeah. Yeah. And listen, I really think I heard this number somewhere for Dayton, which should magnify New Orleans. I'm pretty sure I heard that Dayton, Ohio, at least back in the 90s, I don't know if the cold has died off since then, but back when this incident happened, this unsolved case, I guess,
Starting point is 00:15:34 the population of vampires in Dayton was estimated around 50,000 vampires. Does that sound like too many? Yeah. That sounds like a lot. Because how big is Dayton? It's got to be, can you look up the population of Dayton, Jack? It can't be much. It's got to be like, what, 100,000?
Starting point is 00:15:53 Everyone's a vampire. That's a good show. The city's the vampires? The mayor. And then like an unsuspecting, like, family moves to Dayton, Ohio from like the Midwest. Yeah. And, you know, they're just, there's a happy plains people from Nebraska, button ties, you know, all that. They moved to Dayton because dad got a new job and half the neighborhood is, the whole neighborhood is vampires.
Starting point is 00:16:14 And they have to find, they find one family that isn't. And that family helps them survive this vampire. I just, that's a movie right there. Yeah. Okay. So the population of the city itself is 136. thousand and that's for 2026 and for the metro area it's 760,000 wow okay so i think 50,000 is probably a bit much yeah so like what i what i saw from some of the reports about new orleans and like
Starting point is 00:16:40 even america it was like 5,000 reported people who say that they're vampires across the country okay so so that they say that that that's you know the the the annual vampire poll that goes out just to the census the vampire census your u.s census report from the government. You're like, are you a vampire? Check yes or no. It's like, it's like white, Hispanic, black vampire.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Check it off. But, you know, yeah, I'll do it anyways. The first time I went to get a license to carry, I go into the courthouse in Pennsylvania. And I, I'm filling it out.
Starting point is 00:17:22 And I think for the race, I hand wrote like Hispanic or something and he's like Hispanic's not a race, you're white. I was like, oh, thanks. Cove had to tell me. I didn't know. I was like, I don't know these things. He's like, and he's still let me get a gun. He's like, here, you can carry a gun. I was like, cool. So anyways, there's a whole underground population or underground culture of vampires in Dayton, Ohio, where this happened. And this is, now I'm kind of missing the bridge here.
Starting point is 00:18:02 Where does the connection to the nightclub, the asylum come into with the vampires? Because later on, we're going to analyze, just briefly, a story that was covered on the show that it's the description of the location that this person was talking about sounds a lot like the asylum nightclub, even though they're two different cities. But do you do you do anybody recall like what the bridge factor is from Vampire to Vampires at the asylum? Like who made the connection? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Is it is it is it the just the raw testimony of the detective? I think it's just the practice of what like occurred according to Lieutenant David Williams And then his verbal reports that are I mean I can't find the guy seems like a ghost now But what's left on the internet of what how he reported to the news of about what his thesis, what his thinking was to how this missing man, how it all unrolled and played out at the nightclub. So the nightclub is like a goth nightclub. And, you know, there's a lot of, I'm not trying to like stereotype or anything, but, you know,
Starting point is 00:19:16 if you told me I had to pick like a style of, you know, apparel. And he said, pick who's the vampire? Like, yeah, it's the goth people. You know, it's the emo nightclub goth vibe, you know. Yeah. But supposedly he goes in there, and the next day, there's an investigation into where he is, because he didn't come home that night. And I think it was, I don't think it was Helen.
Starting point is 00:19:40 I think it was George's mom that called the police. And so they started looking around, and this retired detective goes in the next day just to, I guess, ask questions, just to see, you know, as anybody has seen this guy? and he has a picture of him. And so he goes to a bartender, and the bartender, he shows the bartender, have you seen this guy? His name is George Gall.
Starting point is 00:20:01 And the bartender said, that is a face I'll never forget. And so we have somebody inside the bar, the bar saying that they have seen him there. So the bus driver is saying that he saw him going to the asylum nightclub. It seems like he went in. Now, the bartender didn't say that yeah, he came up to the counter and ordered a drink.
Starting point is 00:20:27 He ordered too many drinks, started a fight, talked to me about how he got an argument with his wife, and he wouldn't shut up about it. He didn't have interaction with George. His interaction with George was from a distance, and from what I understand, it was at the end of the night. So at the end of the night, the floor is empty, bartenders probably cleaning up, you know, doing his rounds.
Starting point is 00:20:48 and he sees a deal go down in this empty floor of the club. And there are, we talked about this on a live before you reminded me of the guy in Pennsylvania who was caught, I guess, grave robbing. He was digging up graves in, I think in the Philly area. And he was selling skulls and human bones and things like that online. he got caught, got arrested. And I remember this now because when we dug into it, we found his Facebook page. And there were other people who are friends with him
Starting point is 00:21:26 that were also seemingly doing the same thing. You know, just by their profile pictures, it was clear. Everybody was into the same thing. They like having human remains in their homes, you know? And so there's this like, talk about underground and things like that. There's this underground like market
Starting point is 00:21:47 for human remains. Sometimes it's organ harvesting and sometimes it's collectors, occult collectors. And this bartender basically suggested that. He said that there was a deal that happened and somebody came in,
Starting point is 00:22:04 an occult collector, and bought a human head that was wrapped in a bag. And the human head that he saw wrapped in the bag was what was in the picture, George Gall. And my question is, if that's true,
Starting point is 00:22:27 why did the detective a day after this incident go in there, ask questions and get that information, and then nothing ever comes of it and becomes a cold case? So I'm open to thoughts and suggestions from anybody as to why that would be. I mean, I think they state that there was not enough evidence to criminally investigate further. So like,
Starting point is 00:22:53 they only had the picture of or like the retelling of seeing the head, but there was not blood evidence. There wasn't anything in the properties for them to actually get a warrant and to actually pursue it further. So, I mean,
Starting point is 00:23:09 he was undercover, Lieutenant Williams at the time when he did this. He does go, like the more investigating. And I think that's where he comes to his own conclusion about what had happened to him. But I think that's where
Starting point is 00:23:25 the legal aspect of it kind of falls flat. Yeah, you know, and I hear that. I hear that. But I wonder, like, would there not have been any kind of report made of this? You know, like certainly as a law enforcement officer, you're obligated to
Starting point is 00:23:45 write a report of what you were told, whether it goes somewhere or not, right? And so I wonder if there was even a report written about this. Like, how far did this actually go? This information actually go at the time in 1994. Because in 2008, he's interviewed by the Dayton Daily Mail where this information comes out. So in 2008, he's already retired and he offers this information that he was there the day after he was told this information. And it's like, well, where did that information go? I mean, certainly, I imagine he didn't sit on it. So he put it somewhere. Did it get covered up?
Starting point is 00:24:20 That's one of my thoughts is, you know, when we're talking about like all the this stuff, whether it's, you know, the underground, underground vampire culture to human trafficking that you had brought up, Derek, it's, there is an organized crime network. And within that, there are people that are in high positions. There are people who are chiefs of police. there are sheriffs. There are people who can put a stop to certain things going forward in the legal manner. And it makes me wonder if did he maybe go back to the precinct, write a report, and that report got stuffed in a folder that Toby Flanderson, is that Flanderson? Is that Flanderson?
Starting point is 00:25:02 Yeah, last name of Flanderson. Not Flanderson. That's Ned Flanderson. Toby from the office. Oh, it's Flanderson. Flanderson. That's what it is Flanderson. Yeah. I don't know if you, if you're, if you're familiar, but Dwight Shrewt was making reports for years on Jim, and he would just take the report and put it in a folder, stuff it away in the drawer. And is that something that happened here where it's like they had a system already worked out where if information comes in about certain things,
Starting point is 00:25:31 they just take that report and they followed away somewhere else, like in the fireplace. Wow. I mean, go ahead, Jack. Oh, so I was going to say like, you know, this is, so the report is, that it was an occultist, right? So it's like, it's not just a vampire because this is like the consider, like, basically, we know that there are high-ranking occultists
Starting point is 00:25:54 and within many different areas. And Michael Aquino would be one of the main ones to focus on that he was, you know, the guy who founded the Temple of Set and he was a general in the military or army and a cycle. Decorated too. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:26:06 And so, like, you have that across, you know, probably multiple different jurisdictions and areas, across the country. So it's not just the vampirism and that aspect of it. It's the occultism and the fact that it's all tied together because the occult, they're looking for those types of rituals. Like, that's the report, is that it was a ritual that he got entangled with and ended up beheaded. And so to me, it's like, that's how I could say, you know, it could get buried like that. It could get buried because of the fact that somebody is part of the occult in that
Starting point is 00:26:41 jurisdiction possibly allegedly. Yeah, I would, I like, you should put that pop-up for you, allegedly. Yeah, I couldn't do it at least. But that's a good point because in looking into some of these people's testimonies and people who have researched the stuff,
Starting point is 00:26:59 there seems to be you know, a side of the argument where the picture is trying to be painted that vampires, like real life vampires, people who are, you know, identifying as vampires. are not, they're harmless. They don't do anything bad. They're just,
Starting point is 00:27:19 they're just quote, maybe weird got people or they, they, you know, it's not illegal to drink people's blood. So as long as it's a willing participant, it's okay, you know,
Starting point is 00:27:29 and they're making excuses, right? But when you just step back from the whole thing, like Jack's kind of talking about it, you're like, okay, there is a real, it's not a hard leap to go from, at the other, you know, as far as logical thinking. And when you have stories like this, where it
Starting point is 00:27:47 ties the two in one story and how often does that actually happen more often than you realize, it makes you feel like, you know, is it like they both go hand in hand? You know, are all vampires occultists? Maybe, maybe not. But we've, I've talked to people who, who, uh, once we're practicing vampires and they were occultists. Yeah, I feel like they practice in occult practices. Like, even if they're not, like, outright occultist planes. Right, yeah, because, like, there's the one, I saw a report of the guy, a guy in New Orleans who was a professing vampire, but he was also a paranormal investigator.
Starting point is 00:28:30 And, like, when you do that and you're investigating in certain areas and certain ways, there's specific things that have occult practices to them. So it could be, it could even be that they dabble with that kind of stuff, not recognizing that's a cult in that nature. I think that happens, maybe not even for just vampires, but for a lot of things, where people they maybe are doing things that they don't realize the dark undertone to. Maybe they think it's more, I'm talking about the vampire side of things, maybe they think it's more innocent.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Like, this is what I like doing, you know, and, you know, I'm not hurting anybody. It's fine. But what kind of spiritual implications are tied to it? What kind of practices are you doing that you don't even realize this summoning demoniac influence into your life or into your body. We've had people on the show who were former shamans, and they would talk about, I'm thinking of Patty and Patrick, you know, Patty didn't realize that some of the things that she was doing was literally inviting demons into her life. You know, she just thought that it was harmless positions in her yoga and all that stuff. And, you know,
Starting point is 00:29:35 she's somebody who studied yoga, you know, in India. She was a high-ranking, I guess, practitioner. I don't know the proper terminology. And she didn't realize what she actually was doing, you know. So is it possible that people that are pursuing even a live action roleplay game of being vampires? And how far and deep do you go with that? If all willing participants in this live roleplay game are willing to take turns sucking each other's necks for blood and all that stuff. Yeah. You know, at what point do you say your live action roleplay is actually a deeply spiritual
Starting point is 00:30:19 ritual that you're performing and you don't even realize it? Well, sure. I mean, the Bible is very explicit that like the Jews were not supposed to have the blood, right? It was forbidden. I mean, King kills Abel and the blood's crying out. We see that again in Revelation with the believers that get murdered that it says the blood cries out for justice, right, to the Lord.
Starting point is 00:30:38 And so there's something really super spiritual about the blood. blood. And so I think like the more and more these people ritualistically or just for like fun, I can't say it. It's crazy to even say it that way. I imagine they do have fun doing it. Like, you know, drinking blood, the addiction of it is spiritual. There's spiritual ties to it because biblically it has very strong spiritual connection to the body into life. Yeah. And so I mean that again, I mean, what you're saying here is another just element of the you don't know exactly what you're doing when you're doing it. You think you do, but you don't realize how deep this goes.
Starting point is 00:31:18 And there's a reason why certain things were forbidden for people to do. And what was Paul say, I can do all things, but not all things are beneficial or permissible. Permissible, right? I might be misquoting. No, I think everything, yeah, you can do all things, but not everything's beneficial. Beneficial, yeah. And so it's that kind of concept, you know. And with this case, he says that he saw this.
Starting point is 00:31:46 And we have this known underground culture of vampires in Dayton. But also, underground in Dayton is 800 miles of sewers and drains. And this is like, from what I understand the description of this, this is not like, you know, hunch over and walk through a tube. This is massive complexes underground in Dayton. And this facility actually has access to that underground sewage complex. And that's a known thing. Because part of this is the family of George at some point went to a psychic to see if the psychic could help them. And the psychic said that it saw George in a body of, the remains of George in a body of water. And that's all the psychic was willing to give them.
Starting point is 00:32:54 And the asylum has direct access to the sewage drains that they say when you just have a shower, it floods out into, I guess, a large body of water somewhere. But it floods very quickly. And so some of the things aside from the idea of vampires is did George that night wander into the sewers and drown and get washed out? I don't know. I mean, like the three of us at the table here, we've had arguments with our wives. I've never gone walking through a sewer downtown after my argument with Lindsay, you know? I usually go to my bedroom and cry my pillow until she comes and rubs my back and says it's going to.
Starting point is 00:33:38 me okay. You know? Yeah. And I mean, I don't think that that's, that's not like the implication there, right, that he went into the tunnels. It's a theory. It is a theory that was offered. Okay. Because like, I mean, there's, like, if you, have you ever seen the videos of the people that go exploring the tunnels underneath different cities? Yeah. Like in Vegas, the mole people. Right. Or even like Nashville and stuff like that. I mean, they all, like almost all major cities, I think in the United States, at least, they have like these vast networks of tunnels, which are the sewage, the draining, like storm drains, all the stuff. And they, like, there's multiple access points throughout cities that you can get into those. Because I just saw somebody post a
Starting point is 00:34:19 video of Nashville in particular. I didn't know that. Yeah. And like this person came up underneath the Bridgestone arena through, through the storm. Yeah. Wow. So like there's, there's a lot of different cities that, you know, more major cities that have vast networks. And then Dayton would be one of those that would be like a smaller city that has probably, you know, a pretty well done storm drainage system. But yeah, and then there's the old tunnels in a lot of other cities as well. So the interesting thing about this is they, somebody in one of these articles interviewed a homeless man in Dayton who has spent time down in these tunnels, slept there, obviously, lives there. It talks about crime happening down there, assault on people down there. but he says two interesting things,
Starting point is 00:35:08 and I haven't spent a lot of time in sewers, but I assume, based off my knowledge of teenage mutant ninja turtles, the sewers are dirty. And he said that they're oddly clean down there. And to me, I'm like, are they oddly clean because somebody's keeping them clean? Or are they oddly clean because water rushes through
Starting point is 00:35:28 and cleans them out? But then he says that there are large room down there the size of, I believe he said arenas. So if you think about arenas, like, you brought up, what place in Nashville? Was it? Bridgestone. Bridgestone. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:46 Stadium. Something like that. Stadium. He might even use the word stadium. I feel like, it's called the gymnasium. That's how they term it. What, down in the underground? Down underneath.
Starting point is 00:35:55 It's so big. They call it the gymnasium. The gymnasium. Yeah. And so, like, these are massive, like, high ceiling. rooms, very high ceilings, where, you know, if there's an underground network and culture of vampires, could they literally, like, in the movies, be down there holding meetings? And the asylum nightclub is literally like the front door to their world, their kingdom.
Starting point is 00:36:20 So it's interesting because in the movie Underworld, that's where the lichen are. They're in the sewers and the vampires are in the mansions, right? And so, like, the lichen come out from underground and attack. So like Underworld is kind of depicting that, but in the inverse. I love it. I love it. Right. And what makes like all of this so important is that lieutenant David Williams is a world
Starting point is 00:36:46 renowned at the time, an occult researcher. That was also a lieutenant. Was he a cult researcher? Yeah. He was actually, it says in some of these articles that he was actually a well-known national occult researcher. Okay. So like he knows what he's looking for. He understands.
Starting point is 00:37:01 That's right. And I wonder if it actually had spawned, because this is all like in 2008, if this had spawned his research to find answers. So I wonder if he actually like stumbled into this as a regular, like detective and all of a sudden. They got put in the Toby drawer. Yep. And then he just, he just started pursuing it and investigating all of it. So like the theories that he, that Lieutenant Williams puts out is that he believes he was beheaded in a cult ritual in the upper rooms. So our victim, George, was beheaded in the upper room.
Starting point is 00:37:31 the head is then sold, right, in the black market to occultists. And then the body itself is then taken down below the asylum and thrown into the sewers that run to the Miami River and the Mad River. Which would fit the psychic's vision. That it's in water. Yeah. Yeah. And she said remains. So it's like it means that his body is not intact.
Starting point is 00:37:53 That's interesting. It's really interesting. Yeah. Holy cow. Yeah, I didn't realize that. I mean, I thought that he had become a world-renowned investigator, but I didn't connect the dots that it was a cult-related,
Starting point is 00:38:12 which is, it's a big deal. I really wish we could find this guy. And I think, right, and I think, again, timeline-wise, I think it all, like, started for him in this investigation. Because, like, we're reading about him, like, way after the fact, like, 2008, 2012. The Netflix series is what just, you know, like, all these things are, like, way after the fact. Bring that up.
Starting point is 00:38:30 We haven't even talked about that. Yeah, we haven't talked about it. I mean, all this stuff is way after the fact, and I think that probably began because they even said they went down into the gymnasium area and they found occult, like signages down when they went with other policemen down into the sewers. In Dayton. In Dayton, below the asylum, they found occult symbolisms in these large areas, but, I mean, there was no other evidence than that. So, I mean, it's not against the law to go draw a pentagram or something. Yeah. So it's a lot of circumstantial evidence, but, like, for us that understand and believe that, like, the dark.
Starting point is 00:39:01 of what are in people's hearts. It's very plausible. This is a good explanation. Yeah. Go ahead, Jason. Before we get into the Netflix aspect, I just want to bring up, there's a large Reddit forum about how they were saying that the detective came and kind of joined their live action role playing group to go undercover. And they're just saying, oh, it was just us doing larping, which is live action roleplay. And it wasn't real.
Starting point is 00:39:30 we're playing Vampire the Masquerade, but throughout history of role-playing games, there's time after time of people taking it too far, and it becomes reality. There's, I guess, during the satanic panic back in the 80s, during Dungeons and Dragons, there's, like, an instance of,
Starting point is 00:39:47 I think, a kid getting sacrificed or something during one of these sessions. That's just off the top of my head. I can't quote when or where. But, I mean, in the game, in Vampire the Massacreade, which I actually played in high school, back in the 90s, actually, oddly enough,
Starting point is 00:40:06 there's like a clan of vampires that lived. Tony's giving me a look. There's like a clan of vampires that live in the sewers. And that's like their main thing. So, I mean, if these people are taking it to the extreme and wanting to become their characters, if you will, then, you know, they could be living, living down there and
Starting point is 00:40:30 partaking of this vampire clan rituals and stuff or whatever. Yeah, and to build on that, it's not beyond the scope of possibility. One, you have cults like the
Starting point is 00:40:44 764. I can't remember if that's the right number. I think it's the 764 cult, which is, there's part of it's here in Tennessee. In fact, I think recently the one guy that was arrested for murdering somebody part of it is put on trial in Knoxville recently.
Starting point is 00:41:01 But Scott Payne, the FBI guy that was in here, he had done some investigating into them. But these are, this is like a cult online that gets people to believe certain things, just all online, and gets them to doing things that are just awful. And so the suggestion of manipulation during these live action role play events, for not everybody, but for some people, it might become very hard to distinguish reality to what's fake. And to even build on that, how many times do we see Hollywood actors and actresses deal with psychological issues after they played a certain role? Heath Leisure died. Like, they say that he put so much effort into that role that, like, it messed with his brain, you know, playing that that evil Joker role.
Starting point is 00:41:56 And so when you're doing live action role play and you have a group of people who are enjoying it and loving it. And then over time, together collectively, you start taking it more and more serious. You know, you start pushing the levels. And once it's a group, the group of the people, collectively it becomes acceptable to hit a certain level of this. You just keep going. and I can see how this could turn into, like, not even just a LARP, but, like, you think it's a LARP, but you're actually in real life doing some really gnarly things.
Starting point is 00:42:34 And you get so swept up and lost in it that you don't even, you've lost touch with reality. And you're not realizing how deep and dark you've gotten. Now, some people, I'm sure they have. Like in the 764 cold, they literally manipulate people to kill other people or kill themselves or hurt themselves. And so that's obviously a real thing. But the idea of a larping aspect of this, how can that get out of hand?
Starting point is 00:43:02 I think it can get out of hand pretty quickly. Yeah, 100%. Well, especially when you look at the foundation for vampires, right? Like, it's not like it was just generated for that game, just like Dungeons and Dragons. It wasn't just generated for the game. Those things have history and they have an actual pass to them. and the real actions that people did, before they were called vampires,
Starting point is 00:43:25 people were drinking blood in sacrifice, you know, like you have the Lalitu, the life draining spirits and all this stuff. So, and that's like, what is that? I don't know, like it's BCE, that kind of stuff. So there's a lot of history when you look at the context of this stuff, and the history is dark,
Starting point is 00:43:44 the history is a cult. And so if you get wrapped up in it, some people don't have that shut off in their mind to stop getting into something to, to, you know, not push the boundaries. And some people are competitive and they want to show that that person and be real cool. And they want to be the furthest. They want to go the furthest with it. You know, I mean, it's, there's a lot to the vampirism, the occult aspect of it and the seriousness of what that does to somebody spiritually if you get real dark and real deep with it. So like to the point of larping and, you know,
Starting point is 00:44:16 engaging in it in a way that is, you know, at first maybe in general. jest, like, or even just for fun, it can take you down that path and you could have a spiritual oppression or spiritual tie to something that ends up causing you to go even further and get into that, that possibility of the occult ritualism. And, you know, even in the instance of George, you know, getting into a ritual where you behead somebody, you know. Yeah. And what you're saying, Jack, I mean, to understand things are connected, even if it's not, on the surface, under the surface, things get connected, right? And so I would eventually say, maybe not the same entity, but maybe the spirit behind it, the energy, the motivation behind it,
Starting point is 00:45:01 it has a connection. So you have this idea of, you know, the sacrifice, the ritual for blood, all that stuff, the larping aspect of that. And then you go back to the biblical stuff, Molok known for requiring ritual sacrifices of blood, children. Like this is something that was a very real thing that the demon, whatever you want to call Moloch, that, I want to say energy, but that the nature can be connected to other things that on the surface, they have nothing to do with each other. but underneath it's it stems.
Starting point is 00:45:46 It's like, I don't know, I'm trying to think of a Stranger Things example. It all ties to strange things. But, which I just want to be on record. Season 5, I know it was terrible. Actually, probably after season 1 was getting worse and worse, but still, once you're in, you're in.
Starting point is 00:46:05 Got to finish it, you know. It wasn't worth it, though. But yeah, so I think that there is a real aspect of that. But so we have these locations, right? And it's not just New Orleans and Dayton. I know we were talking about Atlanta earlier. Is Atlanta a spot, Jason, that has it? Yeah, Atlanta is a pretty big spot.
Starting point is 00:46:31 They have a lot of vampire clubs there and a huge goth scene. And I don't know if it's still there, but White Wolf Games, the makers of Vampire the Masquerade and Werewolf the Apocalypse. There's multiple games that go along with the world of darkness, but they were based out of Atlanta. But not saying that the games are necessarily evil or associated with this, but it has some things to do since the people were saying that they were playing the game and the investigator did come into their game or whatever.
Starting point is 00:47:10 I mean, it's just like wrong place, wrong time, right? You have this like roofer, get mad at his wife, can't sleep, the baby's crying, gets on a bus, says, hey, why not this place? You know, I'm in the middle of Dayton and then gets out. And then all of a sudden he sticks out like a sore thumb, you know, and he becomes the target of their live action role playing or their ritual or whatever it is that they want to begin to push on him. I mean, I could see it even, like, from Dust Till Dawn with Selma Hayek, you know, like, she's, like, the seductress and, like, lures them in deeper into the bar, and all of a sudden, like, they're all trying to feast on them. And it's probably something like that where, like, he was just, you know, like, I'm just here to, like, cut loose. I don't care, you know, whatever, like, nothing but that bad could happen. And then he gets just lured in into the upstairs where the ritual then takes place.
Starting point is 00:48:01 So that kind of reminds me, I don't know if anyone have seen the movie Blade, Marvel movie, but there's one. scene in the first movie where that literally is what happens. There's a guy he gets taken to this club. They go downstairs and, you know, it's like techno music and then the sprinklers come on, all this blood comes down and all these vampires are like, you know, starting to feed on unsuspecting humans who think it's just a club. So, I mean, you know, in pop culture, they have references to sort of what happens here. Yeah. Yeah. And I think it's important to differentiate some of this too is like we're talking about vampires. We're not just like specifically talking about like Count Dracula-style vampires.
Starting point is 00:48:39 We're talking like there's like the cryptid aspect of a vampire. There's also like the spiritual, like theological belief system of vampirism, right? And so you have these like human people that think that blood rejuvenates them. It's a spiritual practice of drinking blood. And then all of a sudden, like you're saying, it twists into these other entities through a cult rituals. And all of a sudden it goes from just being like this humanistic like desire to drink blood. all of a sudden we're creeping over to where spiritual powers, spiritual entities are showing up, where things are engaging with humans almost to the level of a Dracula where, like,
Starting point is 00:49:19 there's shape-shifting, there's rituals for power, all these other aspects that are occurring, and then you kind of get it all mixed together. So this is, the story is very, I think, much more in the occult humanistic angle of it. And I think that's what makes the sensationalism of the Netflix series. because it's called Vampires of Gem City. Right? And so, like, that's where they're beginning. Like, they did three years of research to tie in all the angles and do interviews, I believe, with, like, even the detective, with the spouse, like, people that are more, like, no more details of the nightclub of the area.
Starting point is 00:49:57 And then all for that just to be held back and then canceled last minute. Yeah. You know. It's odd. It's odd. And so they make the connection to vampires. right? And then they cancel it after three years of research. And that kind of goes in with what we started seeing yesterday, which was the more we looked
Starting point is 00:50:14 maybe, and we didn't, it's funny, because before we started recording today, I brought up the fact that the most overused word with podcasters is research. Research. I researched. Like, bro, you didn't research. You looked up at Google search and you read a couple of articles and you called that research. Like, it's not research, you know. And I'm not saying I'm researching because that's why. you've rarely seen me say, I researched anything because it's like, I'm very sensitive to what
Starting point is 00:50:41 that word means. That's good. But in our perusing the internet yesterday, it seemed like there was a lot of articles that were kind of getting scrubbed. I saw an NJ.com, New Jersey.com article from 2009. And I don't know if it was paywalled or if it was scrubbed, but there were other websites that seemed like they just, you click it
Starting point is 00:51:08 and it just went to like a dead page. It, like, the page was there, but it was empty. And the, so we did find, uh, we did find that there is one website that
Starting point is 00:51:26 seems to have a thriving, um, vampire push. And it was, uh, meetup, meet.com, I think it was,
Starting point is 00:51:39 or it was like, that groups, you know, I didn't know it was a dating site or something. Meet a vampire. Yeah, it was like,
Starting point is 00:51:45 I think it had like 15,000 vampires in the one group. And I was like, that's a lot of vampires. But the, I see it in my notes here. I think it's important
Starting point is 00:51:55 to bring up the 5,000 vampires again that Jack would brought up earlier because in the notes that we have from yesterday, it says 5,000 vampires in the U.S. drinking donor blood for energy. So I wonder, like, how do you get that statistic? And it's also a specific statistic.
Starting point is 00:52:18 So, like, when you do a census, for instance, I remember when I was a young, 21-year-old working in Reading, Pennsylvania, there was some kind of census. And they came to the conclusion that I think they said, Redding, Pennsylvania had 80,000 people in it. And as somebody who was on the streets of Reading every day working, I was like, there is no way there's only 80,000 people here. You know, it was not accurate.
Starting point is 00:52:45 And so the fact that they are saying there's 5,000 vampires that are drinking blood, how many of the, how many vampires go uncheck that are, that don't fit that criteria. Maybe it's, you know, they just play the game, live action roleplay, or, you know, there's the real vampire people who are taking it very serious and they're very dark, they're not going to go on any senses. So how many vampires do we actually have running around? And could that be why when you do a three-year investigation with Netflix on a documentary theoretically exposing vampires and are exposing and positioning them in a very unfavorable light, a realistic light, hey, everybody, vampires are real. That's a shocker. And then on top of it, here's what they're doing.
Starting point is 00:53:31 hide your kids, hide your wives kind of thing. Could it be that of the population of vampires nationwide, how many of them are higher-ups in different government organizations that caught wind of this? And maybe did they kill the Netflix documentary? Just like all these other articles being scrubbed. Yeah, I mean, like, if you think about like what the asylum really could have been, now that we know about like human trafficking and all these things,
Starting point is 00:53:56 like this would have been a great hub for like drugs, human trafficking. trafficking, sex trafficking, like all of it. Yeah. And so this could have been the place where things go quiet, you know, things come in and they don't come out because they have access to the sewers. Yeah. They have different avenues to like make things disappear. And so like it could be a great place for that.
Starting point is 00:54:16 And same with all the vampire stuff though. It's the same. Like I'm trying to find stuff on Lieutenant Williams. If he was a nationally renowned occult research researcher, I can't find anything about him. Aside from a couple articles that mentioned that specifically. So, like, a lot of this has been pulled, scrubbed, old, like you said, old websites, things that just go dead. And it just feels really intentional. We've done a lot of research for a lot of different things.
Starting point is 00:54:42 And this is something that we've, oh, see, now I'm a researcher, yeah. I do more research than Tony. That's true. That's true. Actually, I could say you are a researcher. You are a researcher. I try to get real true. Aknowingly, a researcher.
Starting point is 00:54:55 But from all the things that we've Google searched, this has been the most difficult to actually land on evidence of, even though like you're saying, if there's 15,000, if there's 5,000 people that do it for energy, there's huge groups in New Orleans, which there's evidence of what is going on where this is so quieted, where this is so concealed and so pulled back.
Starting point is 00:55:21 They want to keep landing this, I believe, in the werewolf, like you were saying, They want to keep it in this taboo zone where it's more of a cryptid than it is an actual religious practice. And I think that's kind of like where they're skirting the edges of and trying to navigate our own minds so that this is not a, like, this isn't a religion. This isn't like a cult. You know, you're thinking of cryptids, ha, ha, ha. Like they're intentionally trying to perceive it the Hollywood way so it's not real.
Starting point is 00:55:49 Yeah. No, I absolutely agree. I think there's a real religion behind it that, uh, that, uh, there are people, and we'll get into one of these people today, but there are people who connect that dot because they're like, no, I walked that road. I was an occultist, and I was pursuing, becoming, transforming my body into being a vampire. So they acknowledge the fact that that's what I was doing.
Starting point is 00:56:14 And so, again, maybe not everybody. Maybe the first level of this is larping. And some people stay in the larping level and they never go to the next level. But some people are like, you know what? let's take this to another level. And you keep going until you meet somebody, it's like, hey, you really want to, this is what we got to do.
Starting point is 00:56:31 And it's not everybody. But to say that's nobody, from my perspective, a little ridiculous. So you said earlier about wrong place, wrong time, right? One of those wrong place,
Starting point is 00:56:44 wrong times, very similar to this as George Gall, wrong place, wrong time, would be James from episode 514. Is that right? 12. 512.
Starting point is 00:56:54 I can never remember that number. but James from 512. I mean, wrong place, wrong time. So brief history of James for anybody new here who maybe hasn't heard
Starting point is 00:57:03 that episode, 512. I say 512, but on YouTube, if you're watching on YouTube, it's not numbered. Jack will have put it on the screen at some point maybe.
Starting point is 00:57:13 But he, originally Atlanta-based, interestingly, we brought up the Atlanta thing here. So I, let me just tell this for a second. So, He moves to Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:57:27 He works for Netflix. Netflix. And he goes to Hollywood and is trying to get settled in. He has roommates. And one night they decided to go out and they come across a gothic bar, a goth bar. If I remember correctly, that part, I just pulled that out of the archives just now. So it may not be accurate. Jack's probably checking transcript right now.
Starting point is 00:57:49 The tell you, Jack. But I believe now that I remember, because he described it as a bar. that they didn't fit in at. And I believe it was a golf bar. Oh, yeah. I think it was. And so his, because his roommate didn't feel comfortable going in there.
Starting point is 00:58:04 That's what it was. His roommate didn't feel comfortable going in there because of the people that were going in. And he saw how they were dressed. And he's like, I don't feel good about this. I'm going home. So he goes in by himself with this new person that just met. They met at another bar.
Starting point is 00:58:16 And he was taking him to this bar. Am I right, Jack? Yes. He's giving me a thumbs up. And so he goes in. And there's this whole, like, seeing that unfolds, they leave. And this new guy that he met that night that took them to the goth, the goth bar, gets a
Starting point is 00:58:34 phone call about a party in the desert. And he plays it off as it was unexpected. I think it was 100% expected. And I think that whoever this guy was was recruiting, going out fishing, looking for unsuspecting people. It's L.A. I'm sure you could find him anywhere. I think he said he was in Crocs, right?
Starting point is 00:58:53 Didn't he say he was in crocs or something? I feel like he was not prepared to go to the the desert that night. But he goes out to the desert and he has this wild experience. And I mean, vampires is part of this experience, but it's not even remotely close to everything that happened to that night. I mean, we're talking like next level stuff. Tents flying up in the air by unknown forces, portals opening up in the sky, satanic cult ritual circles, people chanting.
Starting point is 00:59:25 It was the high priest with the hats. Yeah. So, like people acknowledged him as he was approaching their circle. And I can't remember exactly how it played out. But it was like he was there for them kind of thing. And he believes that they were preparing to sacrifice him. But he bringing up the hat thing. When I interviewed him, I had an episode, I think it was 67 episode, number of 67.
Starting point is 00:59:53 I had Zach King, the High Wizard on. 61. 61. I always get it wrong. I was going to say 63. A 7 looks like a 7. It's pretty close. Anyways, so I interviewed Zach King for episode 61, and he said that when he dressed up in his get-up for being a high wizard, I believe he said at any given time there's only four or five high wizards worldwide.
Starting point is 01:00:14 They travel the world doing rituals and magic for kings, queens, rock stars doing spells. he used the example of the movie or not the movie the music video from pink like a pill and in that music video she's singing in like a garden area and there is this guy in face paint and a top hat behind her like doing like almost like spell over her and he says he identifies that man as a high wizard and he says that was an actual high wizard that was doing a spell over her during the music video. So this story comes out with James and the people listen to it. And one of the people commented is saying that when James described, when he arrived on scene,
Starting point is 01:01:03 there was a man that put a bracelet on his wrist that said VIP, as if he was expected. And he just randomly showed up with this guy he met at a bar. He said the guy was wearing a top, a mad hat or hat. And somebody comes in saying, if that was a high wizard. And I was like, shoot, I never even considered that. Reached out to James, and I said, James, uh, when that man put the bracelet on you,
Starting point is 01:01:29 he was wearing a mad hat or hat, did he look like this? And I sent him a screenshot of the music video. He said, during the day, that man did not have face paint on, but at night he looked just like that. Wow. And so on the scene of this radical event that we're about to get into with this vampire side of it, um, was a high wizard doing strong,
Starting point is 01:01:49 occult magic and what is there and connected to this whole scene? Vampires. And so again, what Jack was making the connection with the occult and the vampires, like this is an example of that where you have one man's lived experience of a radical night. I mean, we're talking realm shifting. This was an insane night. And a little piece of that night had to do with vampires. So, Jack, if you could get that clip ready to rock, I am ready when you are. And then the twins start playing. When they start playing, I start noticing that nothing looks right anymore. And I'm like, okay, okay, this is strange.
Starting point is 01:02:37 I look to the left of me and it appears, I guess the only thing that I could relate to is what a vampire would look like. And this person had like yellow eyes and probably about six feet away from me. And I could see the fang canine teeth when they're extra sharp. But I was kind of just thinking, okay, these people probably just put on some makeup and they're just doing some odd stuff. But I was watching what she was doing and it looked like she was feeding on someone's neck. And I was really thrown off by and I was like, okay, that's not happening. And I kind of looked away. And when I look back, I saw blood, like, on the neck of the person.
Starting point is 01:03:17 But it wasn't like a, it wasn't like she was killing them. It was like, I, and I've looked into this. I guess, like, there's bars in Hollywood, I guess, after this experience that, like, people go in and quote unquote vampires, but I don't think they're actual real vampires, but they like sign waivers and they feed on each other. But, yeah, I saw this. And that was really weird. And I remember just trying to just like pay attention to the music and just kind of like
Starting point is 01:03:42 ignore whatever you think around me was looking like. And then I turn around and I'm about to like walk out of the tent. I was just starting to feel like uneasy being under there. And I see these two guys right behind me that the only way I could describe them as if like demons had materialized into this plane and were standing there and they didn't like and I could clearly see them. Like if I was looking at myself and like if I was looking at the Mark and his buddy, they weren't looking weird. Other people in the audience were looking weird. I look back at these guys.
Starting point is 01:04:16 One guy doesn't even have finger. It's so much like he has like mitten hands and like this weird monopole thing. And they look like they were out of Hellraiser. That's like the best way I could describe it. And I got definitely spooked when I saw that. And I turned around to my buddy. And I said too, man, what is going on right now? It's like, do you? Yeah. So I mean, I, that episode, is wild. And I still, everyone's wild, talk with James, and I'm hopeful that one day
Starting point is 01:04:48 he's willing to be on camera because he's not right now. I think he's more concerned about his career. But if I ever have a chance to have him on camera, bring him in the studio, I'm doing it.
Starting point is 01:05:00 But that scene, just so people can understand what he's talking about, the vampires, if I remember correctly, he is inside of a tent, the tent that I referenced going up in the air
Starting point is 01:05:09 supernaturally. he's inside that tent and he starts seeing really weird things happening. And so he references about the vampire side of it and the woman feeding on another person. And when you hear that, you can be like, that sounds like they were probably doing larping, live action roleplay, right? But when he turns his head and he sees other demonic manifestations and then you take the entire story of what happened that night, it gives context to, at the very least, even if they were larping, the deep, dark, spiritual connotations and connections to that
Starting point is 01:05:46 culture, environment, and what can come from that. And he had some, he had, he and I had talked quite a while on that episode, then afterwards. If I remember correctly, there were connections to vampires in Joshua Tree that he and I discussed after we were done recording, and also since then people have been bringing it up to my attention. It's a very real culture out there as far as the vampires in Joshua Tree. And you were looking at some Reddit articles. Yeah, I mean, I was specifically looking for like missing people in Joshua Tree. And there is, I think, like remains found every few months of people randomly in the desert.
Starting point is 01:06:36 going back even like decades. They even said that the Las Vegas mafia would bury people in carpets, you know, like randomly and aspects of the desert. So there is a lot of dead remains out that way that are go very much unexplained. And that alone. And then in the Reddit thread that I was reading, they were actually talking about this weird happenings that that have occurred to these people. one guy was driving through the park at sunrise and sees a gentleman like staring into the sky
Starting point is 01:07:09 and so they they end up getting out they walk next to him and he's got blood all over his mouth and he's just like staring up into the sky you know another girl was saying that they had an Airbnb right at the edge of the park and you know everything's fine during the day it's at nighttime when things get real weird out there and so they are pulling in right at the end right at dusk into their Airbnb and they said they swear they saw someone inside the building. Both of them saw a person in the kitchen. And so they like wait an hour. They're really freaked out. They go in. They don't find anybody. But all through the night, they have weird activity going on. They hear knocking. They feel the sense of being watched. They hear like glass break. So a lot of weird
Starting point is 01:07:50 instances surrounding the park of, I mean, is something more going on? Are they looking to harvest people? Are they looking to make people go missing? It's a great place for it. I mean, there's so many missing bones in the park itself that like who's who's to say they're even going to find them. You know what I mean? They're going to find it decades later. And then they have to do DNA analysis. They have to figure it off it's a missing case. Like it's such a crapshoot of dead bodies out there that like it's a great place to have someone go missing and they'll never going to find it. So I was reading on a Reddit thread as well. And this happened in Joshua Tree. There was a couple that was doing bouldering. And earlier in the day, they had seen an area, I guess, like a campsite that
Starting point is 01:08:36 had a pentagram in dust. And, you know, I think probably people that are out there often, they probably are used to seeing stuff like that, right? But they, and they must have been because I, if I, well, I can't say that because I did this actually, but in a normal world, I think if you found a pentagram in the sand, you're not going to set up camp right next to it, right? Now, for me, I didn't know there was a ritual circle where I set up camp until I set up the camp, and then we found the ritual circle,
Starting point is 01:09:08 and then we're like, well, we're here now. So it is what it is. But this couple, they see this, and then at that night, at that camp area where the pentagram was, there was this, like, chant going on. And these people were chanting words that were unintelligible, like a different, I think they even described it at different tongue.
Starting point is 01:09:29 So it was like a language that they didn't understand. And there was one person leading the chant, and then everybody else would repeat what that person said. And eventually it gets to the point where they go inside their camper to climb up on the roof to see if they can get a better look as to what's going on. And when they're on the roof, they hear somebody say, murder. And then the group says, murder as part of this chant.
Starting point is 01:09:52 And so they're like, you know, we had enough of this. They get down off the camper. I think their camper was like a like one of those pickup trucks that has a camper on the back of it. Because the way they described it sounded like they were getting into the truck. But they pack up and they get out of there. As they're driving away, a man jumps out from the bushes and slaps his hand on the hood of the truck. And so like, was that a huge larping thing to scare innocent people next door? Were they serious?
Starting point is 01:10:20 Were they half serious? These are all the questions that you have to weigh. and what Jason had said earlier about how they could say, oh, we were just larping. And it's like, that's where we're, I feel like this is the common threat throughout this entire discussion is like, what was real, what was larping?
Starting point is 01:10:34 Do they even know where the line is, is the line blurred for even them? Yeah. I mean, what's scarier than cryptids? Evil people. Yeah. Yeah. You know, here's a thought.
Starting point is 01:10:49 You mentioned about the blood, right? The man covered in blood. It reminds me. of a few weeks back, we had Rusty on the show from North Carolina case files. And the whole 9-11 call, that 911 call that happened where the guy calls, and what's he say initially, he says to the dispatcher that he passed a man that was covered in blood. Oh, yeah. That's what he had thought he saw. Wow. And then as he passes the man that was covered in blood that he thought was covered in blood, a man covered in blood, all of a sudden this thing jumps in the back of his truck. And you hear
Starting point is 01:11:23 on the 911 call say, that's not human, that's not human. Well, when it comes to vampires, there is an element of transforming. Yeah, 100%. And so I'm not saying all rakes, but is it possible that rakes are vampires transforming? Or like, just, I'm just saying. I don't know. Transformation that's occurring because of ritual. Yeah, 100%.
Starting point is 01:11:44 Like, that was an idea that really started sinking in with me back in, I think, 21, 22, when we did our first documentary into Kentucky. Yeah. Because of the story that I heard going down there where, and I said before, I was listening to Tim Pool, I was listening to Tim Pool. It was like 2 o' morning driving through Middle Pennsylvania, and he had a new guy on who's now an OG or there, Shane Cashman. Shane was starting a paranormal podcast through them. He was talking about some stories as Halloween at a time frame.
Starting point is 01:12:14 And Shane said that he had interviewed a woman who was going through a school of mystery and she recalled a time that they were learning how to open up portals, and she saw an upright walking dog. He didn't say dog, man, an upright walking dog come through the portal. So I'm going to Kentucky to hunt dog man. I'm like, I don't think I know what this is. And I get down there and Ward, who I had never met Ward before my life. This is the first time I actually physically met Ward.
Starting point is 01:12:44 I talked to him on the phone. So I meet Ward and we're talking quickly discovered. he's a highly intelligent person. And he offers a theory that I had not considered before when it comes to Dogman, which was the occult side of it. And the idea was that is there a ritual that a human being can do, that they would transform their body or cast a spell during the ritual, that the people that are in the presence of the person doing the ritual come under the spell of that,
Starting point is 01:13:18 and they see a werewolf. They see a dog man, but what's standing before them is actually a man wearing a wolf skin doing a ritual that they are underneath now. And so I was like, that's really interesting, but it ties this whole thing together
Starting point is 01:13:34 when it comes to the guy with the 911 call. Could it have been... I mean, how... How much do you need to be in the presence of the ritual before it takes effect, right? Could it be just driving by? I have a hard time imagining that that happens that fast, you know. But he driving by with his headlights on it.
Starting point is 01:13:57 That's the interesting thing, man. His headlights are hitting this. And he calls 911 saying it was a human, a man where, that had blood on him. And then when whatever it is jumps in the back of his truck and he's looking at it in his mirror, he can tell it's not a human. Wow. And so, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:14:12 I just thought if we're going to be connecting dots and saying that different things, tie together. Could it be possible that rakes are, because I mean, I venture into the idea that could rake be some kind of interdimensional creature, ET, could it be that rakes are
Starting point is 01:14:30 transforming humans? You know, like they do have human nature, you know, more than a dog man, or I would say even Bigfoot, if you looked at, if you looked at the idea of a rake and what they would look like, it looks like a starved,
Starting point is 01:14:47 human being. Yeah. You know, and what do we talk about when it comes to people doing rituals to become vampires? They starve themselves. They go months without a time, without eating real food. And we'll get, I'm jumping the gun here, but like, they, they eat, like, wafers and blood. That's all you eat for months. That's what you live on. And so imagine somebody who is eating wafers and blood for months at a time. I imagine they'd be super skinny, very pale. And, uh, Bloody. You know, so. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:19 Yeah. And you would lose your mind during that. So maybe you're walking around the woods naked. It's all coming together, guys. So another interesting thing about the guy staying on the side of the road covered in blood, it brings us back to a couple weeks ago with the druids standing on the road here, down, you know, close to us here. That, like, I mean, what's going on?
Starting point is 01:15:44 You know, are these people, are they casting spells having some? ceremonies. Oh, you talking with the Blue Man? Yeah, the, the Druids, they were, you know,
Starting point is 01:15:51 Eddie was talking about. Yeah. Yeah. Did he call him Druids? I didn't even connect that. I don't know. I was just saying they're droids because they had cloaks. Dude,
Starting point is 01:15:57 I dig it. Yeah. I dig it. That's, I never consider. Every time Eddie tells that story, I think Blue Wizard. That's all I ever think about it.
Starting point is 01:16:05 It's a wizard that has a blue face. Yeah. So, Druid. When the Blue Man group goes. Richard. Yeah. Maybe blue face paint.
Starting point is 01:16:14 Maybe. I don't know. Interesting. Or do they add something to blood to make it blue? You know, before your blood hits air, it is blue in your veins. Did you know that? That's why your veins are blue because your blood is blue until it hits the air and it becomes red. That's what I heard.
Starting point is 01:16:30 Look it up. Fact check me, Jack. And if I'm wrong, don't say it. Okay. If I'm right, though, tell everybody. All right. So that's Joshua Tree. And that's somebody that was on the show telling his experience of a location, another location.
Starting point is 01:16:46 New Orleans, you got, what do you laugh about over there? Was that right? Was I that right? It was funny? No, you weren't right. Oh, okay. I wasn't? Oh, I heard that somewhere. No, listen, let's talk about it. Your blood's always red. Really? Yeah. Gosh. I heard that too. I've heard that all my life. Man. Yeah. Yeah, it may appear blue through the skin due to the way light interacts with skin.
Starting point is 01:17:09 I got a depth of veins. I got to talk to my son when I get home. You told me? Blood is not blue. Let me tell you something, son. Interesting factoid. That's funny. Okay, so, but we talk about, that's funny. And you were actually going to follow the rule and not say something.
Starting point is 01:17:29 Yeah, I just couldn't help myself from laughing. But, so we had these different locations, you know, New Orleans, Dayton, Ohio, Joshua Tree. These are spiritually charged areas. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an area in this area that had similar lore to it, right? But another area, another location that has this vibe to it would be Detroit. And so in Detroit, there is another club that has a lot of the asylum vibes to it. And I've been to Detroit for work. I've been to Detroit shooting a documentary that has not been out yet.
Starting point is 01:18:12 It's coming, actually. I think they're working on it. I'm a very small part of it, but I don't know how much I'm allowed to talk about. I don't know. But it's a documentary that Ward and Joel are coming out with. And it has a lot to do with the occult and the underground nature of the occult in this country circulating around different practices. And in Detroit, when you go downtown, and maybe it's because I was there shooting a documentary on a very specific thing that was very occultic, that I had this feeling. I was like, there's something ancient, old, and dark underneath the surface of this vibrant downtown vibe that's going on. And we went to a very specific old building that had this layered architecture to it. You could go down almost into the dungeon of the building where the bathrooms were. And it was interesting. Jack, you were there, right? Weren't you there? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:12 Yeah. Yeah. So I'm remembering that correctly, right, so far? Okay. But this other building that was brought to the attention, our attention was on episode 478, which is crazy. We were listening to the clip. We're not going to play the whole clip today.
Starting point is 01:19:30 It was like a 20, 30-minute clip. But when we were listening to it to brush up on the information, I thought it's nuts that 478, that's half the show ago. I feel like 4-78 was yesterday You know? That is kind of wild And it's literally half the show's existence ago And it's nuts
Starting point is 01:19:50 But so we had Shepinbalis on the show And he talked about a time That he was in Detroit And he lays the groundwork Of this one old building Is the building gone now, Jack? Nope, it's still there But it's not the hotel anymore, right?
Starting point is 01:20:09 Or is it still a hotel? I don't think it's a hotel anymore I believe it's a, oh, it is a hotel. It is. Yeah, yeah. Okay, so the Leland Hotel, if you can show them any pictures of it, that'd be cool. He talks about the Leland Hotel and the old architecture of it. And one night, he and another guy were walking by a side entrance of this hotel.
Starting point is 01:20:34 And the hotel side door opened up and a man came out and there was an interaction. And essentially the man said, do you guys? want to go to a club or the club. And if I remember correctly, he didn't go. They didn't go that night. But they did wind up going another night. He's like, hey, I want to go to a club. I heard this place.
Starting point is 01:20:56 And he goes. And the club was called the labyrinth. Labyrinth Club, right? Yeah. It's actually, it's interesting because there is a, like an update or at least something that was underneath that article you sent me that it's called the city club now. I don't know if maybe that was just the name
Starting point is 01:21:17 of the like what they were hosting that night was the labyrinth but it's called the city club. Yeah, I can show you some pictures of that too. Of the inside? Yeah, please show. Right now actually. I want to see. I want to see. This is going to take you down something. I can tell you right now. Here we go. Sorry guys. Oh, shoot. Can you use it double tap so I can see that better?
Starting point is 01:21:38 Yeah, give me one second. Let me just set you up right on screen. Oh, my gosh. So that's just one of those nights, right? This type of club. Wow. There's multiple others. Go back to that. Zoom in on that.
Starting point is 01:21:54 That's the drop ceiling that he was talking about. That's the drop ceiling he was there. That's the drop ceiling he was talking about in the episode. Right. He made a point to mention about the high ceilings, but there was a drop ceiling on it. So there's that. This is the bar. This is what the bar looks like.
Starting point is 01:22:08 Didn't want to click on that. did not want to click on that well we didn't see it but yeah that's what this looks like so very like you know nice looking bar that's what he said too it was like elegant
Starting point is 01:22:21 yep and that's a common thread that both described the asylum was was like this this goth elegance on the inside if I remember correctly this is this is where I said that it'll take us down a rabbit hole whoa whoa right
Starting point is 01:22:36 wow wow wow wow Yep. Which goes right into the trafficking that we were talking about. Yeah, the connection. Yep. Yeah. Like, that's dark stuff. Right.
Starting point is 01:22:51 That swirl means, if I remember correctly, it means boy love. Mm-hmm. Right? According to the FBI. According to the FBI. Yeah. Symbols of that, yeah. Leland City Club has that down in their hallways or whatever.
Starting point is 01:23:08 Right. Somewhere. Yeah. Wow. So he goes back and they go in and he said they go down, not up. They didn't stay on the same level. They're on ground level and they go down. He said it was like 30, 40 feet.
Starting point is 01:23:23 They go down. And he sees this, he's describing the whole environment, a very goth environment, which is what asylum was as well. And he said there was like a 16-foot door that he went through. and he said it's where it got really weird. And one of the things that he described I think is actually what I want people to hear. So he goes to this club, the Leland Hotel.
Starting point is 01:23:53 He said it was called The Labyrinth. It might have changed names since then. And there was... I'm trying to read my notes here, actually. Actually, Jack, just go ahead and play that clip because I can't read my chicken scratch, but he's in the Leland Hotel and he is going through a 16-foot door. And he's describing what the scene is unfolding as. And also, just so people understand, this is, this episode's so old that it never made it to YouTube.
Starting point is 01:24:28 So, like, this is when I was like hit and miss on YouTube and I didn't really care, whatever, whatever. And apparently this episode, I never wound up uploading. And there's no video to it. and I probably never will upload it. So just so you know. Oh, this is overtime? It's weird. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:44 Oh. On the other side of it, there's like a 16 foot tall door. And it just looks like a door that opens up into like the underground abyss or something. And me and my friend go and we actually grab a seat because there's like people dancing. and we're like watching this and taking it all in. And I'm like, dude. I also just want to give people a heads up because it's not typical for the show.
Starting point is 01:25:17 There is cursing on this clip. And so I don't know exactly where it is. Jack's probably not going to be able to mute it in time. So if you're watching with your kids, because sometimes people watch with their kids, just giving you a heads up. He does curse. And we'll try to dodge it, but I don't think we're going to be able to. Giant door.
Starting point is 01:25:35 It's like the abyss. And he's like, I don't know, something seems off. We're like sitting here and I'm like, okay, well, these people look like, you know, we're like talking it out. And I'm like telling them things like these people look like, like they're obviously goth. You know, we have a lot of like goth friends. It wasn't anything ordinary. But I go, it's weird how like authentic this looks or like a vibe. And he's like, I know, but he's like, dude, check out the dance.
Starting point is 01:26:04 And I go, what do you mean? And he goes, the slither. I go, and I go, what? And I was like, look. And Tony, these people
Starting point is 01:26:16 that were dressed like authentic, like lost boy style attire. They were dancing like something out of the matrix. They were falling
Starting point is 01:26:34 backwards like, Neo when he was getting shot with a bullet to a natural point of suspension. Wow. And we watched this. We took in the music that was so authentic. And I took in that big door. And it was, I think I remember it being just about midnight or something like that.
Starting point is 01:27:00 Now this is all kind of coming back to me because we almost talk this through. Like, fuck our, like, do the blood, uh, feast on us or what? Well, we ended up leaving. I mean, like, we're pretty bald. Like, we got into all sorts of shit. And we didn't have a good feeling about this. And, you know, we left.
Starting point is 01:27:23 And since I've often thought about this place and you all can go check it out, it's the Leland House. They claim it's built. Keep it going. Keep it going. In, like, 1960. But I think it was pre-Tartarian. There was an underground.
Starting point is 01:27:39 The mafia was also using it. They went into these ballrooms. There was a lot of people thrown off the roof, like almost vampire style. And everyone in the hotel is God. And I found reference to a vampire coven that was in Detroit in the 1800s called the Leland Coven.
Starting point is 01:28:05 Cut it. That's crazy. That was my chicken scratch. I was like, why is, I don't understand how can I see 1800s. So he, so he says that he found a vampire coven in the 1800s that was called the Leland Coven. He runs into this scene of a goth club underground in Detroit at Leland Hotel, called the Labyrinth then, now called City Club Jack or something like that. City club.
Starting point is 01:28:39 City club. And maybe it's a different club now. Maybe it's not a goth club. But it's in the Leland Hotel, which the Detroit City had a vampire covenant in the 1800s called the Leland Covenin. I wonder if things are related. I wonder if there's a connection. I would venture to say, yes, but who am I?
Starting point is 01:29:05 What do you guys think? Anybody. So I was doing looking things out And I'm just like No Rividing stuff So I was doing a bunch of research And apparently
Starting point is 01:29:14 Stop saying that word Not just kidding Oh yeah I'm kidding I was reading some internet sleuthing So yeah There's a lot of weird stuff Like apparently Jimmy Hoffa
Starting point is 01:29:27 Stayed there a lot And a lot of gang activity But yeah It's the Leland Or is known for It's gothic culture industrial music, alternative fashion, horror enthusiast.
Starting point is 01:29:42 And it says that the Leland became linked with stories of real vampires. So that's very interesting. Also, just a tidbit, it was named after automotive pioneer Henry M. Leland. Okay. Let's see here.
Starting point is 01:30:04 So, The movie The Labyrinth, that was all about the... So, the Labyrinth is a maze, right? Yeah. Interesting. So, go ahead, Jason. Which also says that there's a bunch of hidden rooms and corridors throughout the hotel. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:25 In the Leland Hotel. In the Leland Hotel. So it would make sense why they would call it Labyrinth, Club Labyrinth or whatever. And then the imagery that we see down there would also... suggest that only certain people belong in certain areas of the labyrinth. Right? So I don't think that I think most of the time you walk into any kind of situation like this and not everybody is on the same page.
Starting point is 01:30:57 There's always people who are in the dark that don't understand. Even down to, you know, there have been people who have been at the ditty parties. And they don't know what Diddy's doing. They've been invited by so-and-so, who invited so-and-so. And they've been told that, you know, it's like midnight. And it's like, hey, you might want to get going now. You know, I mean? Because you're not privy to what is about to start happening, and you may not want to be here, you know?
Starting point is 01:31:26 And so it very well could be a very similar thing with this, where the Labyrinth Nightclub has a vampire underground to it, has occultic ties to it, has human trafficking ties to it, abuse to children tied to it, all in one location. And just like any good crime network, not everybody needs to know what's happening with everything. And so I think that there's a strong chance that the labyrinth has the meaning behind its own name. You know, know. Good. Another connection.
Starting point is 01:32:10 Go for it. So you're talking about this Detroit club. It's exactly like two blocks from the river. The asylum was exactly the same. Exactly two blocks from the river. Just about. And so also the Detroit sewer system is enormous. It says it nearly has 3,000 miles of sewer pipes.
Starting point is 01:32:28 And more 90,000 catch basins. So it's gigantic. So they, I mean, if you were going to put them like side by side, it seems like they really line up very equally. Very similarly. And both buildings have access to the underground. Yeah. Both buildings had access to the underground.
Starting point is 01:32:48 Huge connections through the sewer systems. Yeah. And then to dump bodies in the river because like the Detroit River is right there and then goes over to Canada. Wow. Wow. That's crazy. So I feel like we could spend all day on this. It's interesting.
Starting point is 01:33:04 I want to keep it moving. here to the last clip here, which is the person I was referencing earlier that comes from, at least he claims that he comes from this line of activity. And his name is Bill Schnoblin. I had him on episode 214, which is when I was still trying to figure out how to work a microphone. And he comes on and shares a lot of his story. Essentially, Bill, he is somebody who claims to have had a lot of life experiences within the occult and where that took him. And that took him into Freemasonry. It took him into other religions. And part of his journey was he, and I don't think this is actually on the episode, because he gave me about an hour.
Starting point is 01:34:04 and we didn't get there. But he came across a man during his occult studies. He had his own coven. And the man told him essentially, you're going to get to a place where to, in order to level up, you're going to need to choose, whether you take on vampirism or being a werewolf. And the man who told him this suggested that he only takes,
Starting point is 01:34:34 on being a vampire because he went werewolf and he said it was the most painful thing you'll ever go through. And so on that guidance, he chose to go the vampire, vampire route. And the clip today is him talking about his involvement with that. So if Jack could get us queued up and let her rip.
Starting point is 01:35:01 And for that time on, I was like I was going in the direction of being a monster. I really was. I got initiated in a vampirism and started living on human blood. I was going around, you know, trying to get as many people as I could to join Satanism and sign their soul away to the devil. I was seducing people. You know, it was a terrible time.
Starting point is 01:35:30 It was the darkest time in my life. And I was, I tell you, I was, you know, because blood, okay, I wrote a whole book of two books actually about this. One is called Luciferty Throne. The other one is called Romancing Death. And in both books I talk about the whole blood thing and why blood is so addictive. And why the Bible tells us, don't drink blood. Don't drink animal blood. Don't drink human blood.
Starting point is 01:35:56 Don't do it. It's because it's an extremely addictive substance. And I've been unlike than just like any other addiction. Because I went on, after I got born again, I got a master's through in counseling from Liberty University. And, you know, I understand addiction very well. I work in an Addiction's Counseling Center for five years in my post after becoming saved. And the more you take of an addictive substance, the more you want, whether it's alcohol, whether it's cocaine, whether it's, you know, opioids
Starting point is 01:36:34 or whether it's blood. And blood is the worst, believe me. And I was to the point where I thought I was going to kill somebody because I'd worked out an arrangement where I had this network of Cummins under me and I had a, from the dozens of women that were in the group, I had five or six women that were really to let me bite them in the neck. And, you know, so every other night or so,
Starting point is 01:37:02 would take one of these women and bite them in the neck and drink their blood. But it was getting harder and harder for me to not kill these women because the addiction was getting stronger. And I was really getting pretty desperate at this point because I was afraid I'd gotten a job. Let me say one other thing here. I think we'll cut it there because I don't know. It sounded like he was going to go on another topic and then bring it back and we ain't got time for that. So, but I want to point out one thing that he just said there. So he's talking about his experience and, you know, being the head of Coven, having a network of Coven's underneath him. This is a culture. This is a structure. Like when I talk about the kingdom of darkness and the structure, the layers and levels to it, it's being built out in the physical through networks like this. Now, he is having these.
Starting point is 01:38:00 this network of covens under him, and he had, I think he said five, the number five pops in my head, women or around five people willing to let him bite them in the neck and drink the blood. He's literally doing this ritual. This is the period of his life where he's only eating wafers and drinking human blood straight from the fountain. Like he's not having them cut themselves, drinking from a cut. He's biting him in the neck, drinking their blood. And so he's doing this ritual and it gets to the point where he says it was getting it was getting so it was escalating so much that he was getting close to killing one of these people because it became much more real for him probably actually real right and again
Starting point is 01:38:50 circling back to things we talked about the larping even if you're entering into the larping just innocently it's going to be a fun game like at what point point, does the escalation happen if it happens, but could there be an escalation that happens where you cross the line from just larping, pretending to actually executing on, I need the blood. I need the blood. And it's addicting. And if we're not meeting this Saturday for roleplay, I got to go find somebody because I need the blood. And if you think if it's a, if you consider the addiction of drugs and what people are willing to do to get their drugs, I mean, like honestly like the hoops and the energy addicts put into getting what their body needs from the
Starting point is 01:39:41 addiction of drugs they would the the effort they put into that they would put to shame most entrepreneurs who are trying to build a business like there's thousands of people that are watching right now that are intimately familiar with somebody in their life or maybe they were formerly, or maybe they're struggling with it now, who understand that concept. It's like, you're not even yourself. Yeah. You're somebody completely different. I've had, I've dropped friends off at rehab. I picked friends up from rehab multiple times. I've seen it. The person I became friends with is not the person I'm dropping off at rehab. They're different. They think different. You think you know them, you don't know them. They're a completely different creation.
Starting point is 01:40:29 And so if he's saying that he's drinking blood for months at a time, wafers in blood and he's addicted to the blood, and he's willing to kill somebody for it, go back to the beginning. George Gall, that case, is it possible that he ran into an underground scene of a vampire coven like Shep Imbalis referenced in Detroit? And he just became wrong place, wrong time.
Starting point is 01:40:59 and became this ritual. Yeah. Or, I mean, like, he somehow he was involved in a black mass or something like that because they do have relics. You're talking about George? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:41:11 Yeah, because they do have relics that they have, that they put on the altar. You know, it's like they're attempting to basically do a, what's it called, um, abomination, like, they're just trying to do the,
Starting point is 01:41:25 the inverse version, like making it holy for them, like going again, God. So whatever they're going to, they're going to have up there on their altar is going to be something that would be an abomination to, you know, a Catholic mass, if you will, if you will. And so maybe that was part of it too. It was like a legitimate black mass that he ended up getting it, you know, walking into or being escorted to. Yeah. So I mean, but you're, but you're not suggesting that George willingly did it, right? No, that's what I'm saying. That's why I just
Starting point is 01:41:53 said that, like, escorted or, or just wanted to clarify, stumbled into. Yeah. That's my point. Yeah. Because it could happen. I mean, that's the whole point of that club is that it was, if they were operating in that manner, and in the upper room, that was the suggestion of the detective, is that a possibility that he accidentally walked into something like that? And what else happened in the upper room in the scripture? Maybe I'm mistaken, but didn't the last supper take place in the other room? Oh, yeah. The last supper is in the upper room. Communion?
Starting point is 01:42:25 Yeah, yeah. Right? Yeah, I was trying to lay it off. I was kind of. I was just like, I don't want to say the wrong thing right. now. No, no. Is it right.
Starting point is 01:42:33 Am I remember that correctly, though? You're right. You're right. You connected the dots about the idea of this being a type of communion. Right. And where was the first one? Absolutely. And so go ahead.
Starting point is 01:42:44 Or no, you don't have anything else to say about that? No, no. That's exactly it. That was your baby yesterday. I didn't want to take it from you. No, I'm right. I mean, like, so we see biblical, like, communion is the blood and the flesh of the Lord, right? Figuratively because I'm not Catholic.
Starting point is 01:43:01 And we see that inversion in the occult with everything. They pervert the Trinity. They pervert like the cross, the inversion of the cross. They're always manipulating and inverting everything. And so communion is definitely one of those, especially something as called out in the Bible to not do is drink the blood. And so, of course, this would be a perfect avenue to do something that's completely in the reversal. or in the negative to what the Bible calls us to do.
Starting point is 01:43:35 I want to start going into this last segment here for the show, and I'm looking at our rundown, and it's funny, in our notes, we have between the first segment and the second segment, that should take us to an hour and 10 minutes. And we're an hour and 44 in, and we're finally hitting the third segment. It's all good. It is all good. Hey, it's my show.
Starting point is 01:43:57 I'm going to do what I want. But no, you brought up Proverbs 30. yesterday and the interesting connections there and not let you kind of run with that and take it away. Yeah. So Jason actually sent me a really interesting clip you found on Facebook. Jack, do you have that ready to queue to get that played? And then we'll watch that and then we'll begin to discuss the fun with Proverbs 30. Did you know that the Bible has vampires? So is this like low-key vampires are real or is it one of those Mandela effects? because never read that there were vampires in the Bible.
Starting point is 01:44:40 Check this out. Vampires in Proverbs. Let's look it up and see what it says. All right. So it's going to be found in Proverbs 3014. It says, there is a generation whose teeth are as swords and their jaw teeth as knives to devour the poor from off the earth and the needy from among men. Okay, so that is really shocking imagery that they give us, isn't it? For a little deeper understanding, let's follow this cross-reference letter in.
Starting point is 01:45:16 So that's going to take us to Psalms 14. Okay, so Psalm 14. Here's four, but let's go ahead and just read this whole thing. It says, the fool has said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt. They have done abominable works. There is none that doeth good. The Lord, the Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God. They are all gone aside. They are all together become filthy. There is none that doeth good. No, not one. Have all the workers of iniquity, no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread,
Starting point is 01:46:05 call not upon the Lord. There were they in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous. You have shamed the counsel of the poor because the Lord is his refuge. Oh, that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion. When the Lord bringeth back, the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice and Israel shall be glad. Okay, so you could look at it as really weird imagery of vampire-like people who, like it even says here, they eat up the people of the Lord, right? Is that good? Yeah, that's good.
Starting point is 01:46:41 Can I just say something that's very judging? Yeah. The lady hosting that video, she kind of looks like she'd be a vampire. It crossed my mind. It crossed my mind. Or she, what's the woman,
Starting point is 01:46:55 the mom's name from Adam's family? Morticia. Morticia. She looks like she can play a morticia. Not trying to be me. I'm just saying. Okay. Some things I just can't keep to myself.
Starting point is 01:47:07 That's fair. Yeah, I'm going to read it just out of the NSB real quick. NASB, it says, There's a kind of person who curses his father, who does not bless his mother. There's a kind who is pure in his own eyes, yet is not washed from his filthiness. There is a kind, oh, how lofty are his eyes,
Starting point is 01:47:24 and his eyelids are raised in arrogance. There is a kind of person whose teeth are like swords and jaw teeth like knives, to devour the poor from the earth and the needy from among the mankind. the leech has two daughters give and give. There are three things that will never be satisfied, four, that will never say enough. Sheol, the infertile womb, earth that has never satisfied with water and fire that never says enough.
Starting point is 01:47:51 So like when you take that to me in full context, like what pops out is the knives and teeth, right? Like that's really crazy. And then you get to verse 15 and then it says the leech. And you're like, oh, I guess that could be a leech. make sense. But it actually means like bloodsucker. So it doesn't necessarily specifically mean leech in the Hebrew. It means a blood sucker. And then you're talking about daughters and like devouring humans and you're like, well, it doesn't like necessarily fit with a leech very nicely. Right. So then when you start diving into some of like the Hebrew word for the leech that's used here,
Starting point is 01:48:30 and you're given the word aluka. Okay. So which interesting, about aluka is that thou that word transformed in later on in Hebrew mythology and mysticism actually means vampire. So like they've taken it and now in the mysticism aspects
Starting point is 01:48:49 of Hebrew that aluka now means vampire. And it's interesting because that word also is very similar to a word that they use in Arabic. The alak. Alak. It's A-U-L-A-K. So like the the formations of the words are so similar, and that also means vampire.
Starting point is 01:49:09 And so all of a sudden, if you reread this, if I'm going to go reread this, and I just read it a little differently, also something I found really interesting is that the eyelids are raised in arrogance. That can actually mean like your eyelids are raised to the daybreak, which again kind of falls into some of that weird vampire lore about night and day, right? So it says the eyelids are raised in arrogance. The kind of person, this kind of person, oh sorry, I'll reread it. His eyelids are raised like the dawn, right? This kind of person whose teeth are like swords, jaw teeth like knives to devour the
Starting point is 01:49:46 poor from the earth and the needy from among mankind, right? The Aluka, or in some, like if you could say vampire, has two daughters, give and give. There are three things that would never be satisfied. And so it's like all of a sudden, if you, if you like look at some of the Hebrew here, this very well could be a descriptor of vampirism in the Old Testament. And yesterday we were talking about this and you brought up the two daughters and the possible Lilith connection. I'm not sure if that was a Tony imagination or if you actually made the kind of. Yeah. So like, is it that is, is there a world where?
Starting point is 01:50:30 you're talking about like two daughters, one being Lilith and then one being what, vampire? Because like they talk about Lilith being not necessarily an entity, but a group of entities or Lilith having archetypes. And so when you're talking about this idea, because we were talking about the generation idea and maybe not like an era, but actually a group of people. So could we be talking about a Lilith group and a vampire group, a leitist group, a leet, group? Well, so again, like when we go to the Hebrew, like the, like certain word structures like are and they and like those words like combine our nouns isn't written in the Hebrew as as cleanly. So like to say something like the leech has two daughters, you could easily, it also can be interpreted
Starting point is 01:51:18 the leech are two daughters. So again, like yes, they could be a grouping that we're not associating properly. Instead of it be like birthing daughters. that it actually already is a pair of daughters. So we're talking about the Aluka are two daughters. The vampire are two daughters. So yes, like there is a grouping associated like with this goddess aspect of the vampirism. That's wow. That's wow.
Starting point is 01:51:50 Jason, what you got? So also to tie back into the whole mythos of the world of darkness and the vampire of the masquerade back to where we're started. Their whole mythology is based off Kane being the first vampire, because Kane killed Abel, and God cursed Kane to walk the earth, and thus
Starting point is 01:52:12 Kane being the first vampire. Makes sense. Wow. Crack, the case, solved. I love it. Go ahead. So, like, you're saying that the cursing of Kane was passed on through his descendants. Yes. And then because I think it talks about him, like never, like, he has
Starting point is 01:52:30 to never taste death or I don't know. It wandered the earth. It wander the earth. So then you're saying that the lineage of Cain is where they would eventually get to having the vampiric people group. Yes. Interesting. Okay. So that site that Jason sent talks about how the Aluka, the horse leech in KJV, is actually the proper name for a demoness, which is in a lot of ways related to Lilith.
Starting point is 01:52:57 they're very closely referred to in the same way in rabbinic history and mysticism and all this other stuff. And to the point of like, could it be a grouping, one of the things that's pointed out here is that you have a Luca clearly prefixed with a specific symbol, the Lamed or Lamed, which would be inseparable preposition meaning two or four, which means the daughters are being given over to Aluka. So they're being given over rather, like almost as one is going to be given the provision and the prosperity and the other will be given barren, you know, life, basically. Hmm.
Starting point is 01:53:41 I have here in the notes, I don't remember we're talking about, I don't even know how to pronounce this word, estries, estries. Estries. I have here, so what is that? Like a, is that like a bird woman? Yeah. Mm-hmm. And so that goes back into like this Jewish mysticism around like 800 AD or so,
Starting point is 01:54:02 that the Estrees was another like a branch off of the Aluka. Okay. So female birdwinged monster whom were said to devour children and drink their blood. And that sounds like an archetype of Lilith. And vampires. And vampires. Yep. That's wild.
Starting point is 01:54:24 And I agree with you. there's something really to be said about like the the feminine deity. I think it encompasses a lot more. Like if we want to say like Jezebel or we want to say Lilith or like sometimes I think that they work together so cleanly in a lot of ways, right? Like the way we try to understand these goddesses and the now terms. I actually found in the Acadian two sisters, it was Ashtar or Anana and then Ereshol. and so the one is in charge of the birthing, right, or the barren woman, and the other one is the ruler of hell. So if we actually go and then we look at those verses, we're just going to pull it up. So it says that it talks about Shiolan verse 16, right?
Starting point is 01:55:10 So the ruler of hell, right? So one sister is hell. The other one is the infertile womb, right? And then the other one is Earth that has never satisfied with water, which Ishtar is also the, is the rule. ruler of the earth and the heavens. And then the other one is a fire that's never quenched, which would be again, hell, which goes back to the other sister, Earshaggal. So it's like, is this actually a reference to like Arcadian, like a Syrian kind of like mysticism that was occurring at the time too, that they understood that these were deities that gave vampiric powers
Starting point is 01:55:45 to like a people group, sort of. And that's what I'm saying. When I started out to show, there is way more complexity to these things than what we think. We have the theatrical version of vampires in Hollywood and what we've come to know. So when you say vampires, as soon as you say the word, nobody's taking your series. And the reality is you take the Hollywood culture idea of vampire out of the picture. You take even the book, the book Dracula, because that's what it's called, out of the picture. And what are you left with? You're left with a very deep underbelly of something that's dark and ancient.
Starting point is 01:56:32 And there are people that are in this world today forward-facing public figures that have done things in private. and made known publicly what they do. And you think that they're just joking, but they're tapping into something that's extremely dark. I'm thinking of, I reason why I'm not name driving, so I can't remember her name. It's an animal. Megan Fox.
Starting point is 01:57:04 I couldn't remember her name. But Jason, you brought that up yesterday. It was, what was the ritual that they were doing? Did they call it a ritual? They didn't call it a ritual, but apparently like Megan and MGK, they drink each other's blood. But it's as far as I know.
Starting point is 01:57:22 I believe they referred to it as something that they do. It's not that they did it. It's something that they do. And I think if I remember correctly watching an interview a while back with her, like I think she expressed that he was uncomfortable, but, you know, he did it anyways kind of thing. Is she a witch?
Starting point is 01:57:37 I don't know, probably. Vampire maybe too. Angelina Jolie had, what was it, Billy Bob Thornton's blood in a vial? around her neck for a long time. That's right. You know.
Starting point is 01:57:48 So maybe they're not practicing vampires as in things that we've covered on today's show, but there's elements of their practices that have roots that are dark and ancient that come from such places. And there are people in this world who clearly do it on purpose. And, you know, I've talked to people who I've heard it plenty of times. You know, you hear people say, you know, I've heard. You invite somebody to church and they say, oh, I can't go to church because if I walk in, that whole place is going to burn down. You know, there are people who believe that they sold their soul to Satan and there's no recovering from that.
Starting point is 01:58:27 There's people who participate in these practices and they are so far down the rabbit hole of darkness that they don't, even if they will it, they want to turn their life around. They don't know how to even start. And the idea of being forgiven for what they've done because they can't forgive themselves, they can't imagine their being forgiveness for what they've done. And so how did they come back from that? And I would just tell people that there is a strong, there's somebody who can take that because the bill has already been paid. So we talk about all this stuff on the show.
Starting point is 01:59:08 And it all stems from our faith, essentially. Like all the things we talk about on the show, one way or another, stems. And I'm not saying the foundation of the house is our faith on everything we talk about, but there's elements to it, right? And when it comes to this, there are people in this world who are pursuing the dark arts, witchcraft, like dark stuff. I'm not talking about hedge witch. I mean, don't do it, but I'm not talking about, I'm talking about very dark stuff, voodoo. Sacrificial magic. Yes, the sex magic. And they can't imagine. that there's ever bouncing back from that in the forgiveness tree.
Starting point is 01:59:47 So it's not even an option on the table for them. And I'm just telling them, like, there is an option for that. Like, 2,000 years ago, Christ died on the cross for our sins. We did not exist yet. We didn't exist yet. The sins that we committed in our lives has not existed yet when he died that sacrifice in the cross. Yet it stemmed through time and we're covered when we accept that grace.
Starting point is 02:00:11 Yes. And so when people are going through this dark stuff, and they might be, if you're, if you're listening right now, like, you might be in the middle of that. And thinking in the quiet time at night, you're thinking, you know, parts of me wants to quit this. But I can't. I'm too far in. These people know who I am. There's no recovering from that. Like, I can't imagine a world where I can forgive myself. But the reality is, Christ has already died for you. You didn't sell your soul.
Starting point is 02:00:46 You haven't done something that's too far down and gone for him to say, you know what? Everybody else on this earth, my grace will cover. But you, you did one too many things. You went too far. There's always somebody else that is worse than you. There's always somebody else that will one up you in the category of evil. Always. The grace is sufficient, and it's available for everybody.
Starting point is 02:01:14 And so, I mean, bringing this show in for a landing, I would say this was a dark topic. Yeah. It's a dark show. There's unsolved cases with George Gall. His widow is still out there seeking answers, seeking the opportunity to share her husband's story that has not been heard by the world. there's an underground network of evil. We know this in the supernatural, but it manifests itself in the natural through human beings
Starting point is 02:01:47 like topics like we've talked about today. The Asylum Nightclub, a manifestation of evil, the Labyrinth Club, a manifestation of evil, all carried out by human agents. And so these human agents often feel like, they just fall into the deception side of it. They're deceived, and they feel like they feel like There's no hope. There is hope. There's hope in Christ. And there can be light in your life. It doesn't
Starting point is 02:02:11 have to be always dark. There have been plenty of people who turned away from this stuff. And now are walking a completely different life. And you can be one of them, Derek, big shirt. I'm so grateful that his blood is sufficient for all my sin and that we get to walk in that every day. You know, because we always just keep falling short. And it's all. awesome, man. And then we actually were very diligent if you want to go to the confessionalspodcast.com backslash gospel. Tony and I and Jack, we really worked hard to bring something that was really of substance for you to make your own decision. And that link is, it's custom designed for the viewer of a show like this. You know what I mean? I wanted to keep it simple and clean and understandable
