The Confessionals - Bigfoot, Dogman, and the Strange Woods of East Tennessee | Slingshot Nation
Episode Date: June 5, 2026East Tennessee has a reputation for strange woods, hidden caves, Bigfoot sightings, Dogman encounters, and unexplained Appalachian legends, but today, we go even deeper. Tony and the Slingshot Nation... crew sit down with Ricky to explore bizarre supernatural encounters in the forests of Maryville, Alcoa, Kodak, and the surrounding Tennessee mountains, including a Bigfoot-like creature crawling across a trail on its fingers and toes, possible Dogman activity near the Greenway, eerie cave systems beneath East Tennessee, occult bloodline connections, spiritual warfare, shadow figures, strange knocks on homes, and the chilling idea that something ancient may be moving through the woods after dark. Oh boy.
Is that Slingshot?
Yeah, yeah.
Blinkshot season.
Hey.
Grace hear me like.
Welcome to Slingshot Nation Live, everybody.
I am Tony Merkel and I'm joined here.
I am like I couldn't remember what my name.
I was like, what is my name today?
Tony, Tony Merkel, that's right.
I'm joined here in studio with Derek.
How you doing, Derek?
Good.
Was it hard because you normally say host?
Yeah, I think I'm a co-host.
I was like short-circuit.
I'm your host, co-hosting.
I don't know what this show is, but we're here, and we're happy to be here.
Slinghot Nation Live, friends, if you don't know about it, now you know.
Jack is over there on the ones and twos, pushing the buttons.
How you doing, bud?
I am good, always good.
Awesome, good, man.
That's right answers only, right?
Yeah.
So I was sitting here and I was watching, you know, the timeline of our intro.
And I was actually pretty happy with it.
You know, we have the AI bumper trailer video that goes.
And I think that's a nice way to kind of grab people.
Then we have the music that kicks in.
And we're looking at about a minute until we hop into the show.
And then we spend about 15 minutes talking about nothing and people get mad.
They're like, get to the topic.
I'm like, this is a topic.
It's my brain and it just dumps and we'll see where it goes.
It's going to be fine.
You'll be here whenever we get to the topic.
That's right.
So we're going to talk about weirdies East Tennessee today.
I was planning on doing a little bit more of a in-depth, not in-depth,
but I want to explore some lesser-known things that are in East Tennessee, these legends
that I didn't know even existed until I started looking into some stuff.
and my son, he's getting so fascinated by stuff.
And I start talking about what's out there.
I mean, he's asking questions.
And I'm just thinking of myself, it really led me to on the, you said it's awesome.
And I think it's awesome too.
But I just started thinking about like the social structure for him.
And I was like, man, is this going to backfire as it gets older?
Is he going to be like, Dad, you made me weird?
My kids are homeschooled, so they're already weird.
Yeah.
He's going to be like,
all the kids make fun of me because I said Bigfoot's real,
and they said it's not,
and you say it is,
and I don't know who to believe.
I'm just like,
I don't know what I'm doing with it.
I gave Raffo a Bigfoot birthday party for his ninth.
And Wes actually gave me a shout out on the Sasquash Chronicles for it.
So how'd that go over?
Every was fine.
Yeah.
No one thought it was real,
but like it was fun.
He was like a cartoon character,
so it's great.
Well, I mean,
we have,
the the East Tennessee here which so that in the culture it's a little bit more
prevalent I could I could I bet I could probably go out anywhere and find somebody
who's willing to talk about it but still even here not everybody believes in
Bigfoot you know and so I just I started thinking about the social structure as he
gets older and so I'm just kind of mentally preparing myself to take a backseat to
his his mental development and let him just kind of navigate those water
and if he decides, you know what, Dad, you're a little weird for me.
I'm done talking about this stuff.
That's cool, son.
It's fine, you know?
Yeah, I have to say, though, like down here in Tennessee, there's a lot of Bigfoot stickers
on cars.
There's a lot of people that believe in Bigfoot.
It's very spooky around here.
Legends and Lore, Pizzeria.
Legends and Lore, we love that.
Shout out to Eddie.
I was just texting Eddie a couple weeks ago about coming down.
And I said, hey, I'm going to come down tomorrow.
What time are you closed?
He's like, we're closed on Sundays.
I'm like, oh, the one time, you know.
Always.
But, yeah, Legends and Lord Pizza.
A great area. Awesome place to get pizza in...
What town is that in?
It's Madisonville.
Madisonville.
Yeah, Madisonville.
This is a little tiny pizza shop in a little tiny shopping center.
And on weekends, he has lines going out the door.
It is nonstop.
But when you go in there, it's like decked out and like crypted stuff and just really
topical for what this show is.
And there's a big confessional's hand on the wall.
Yeah, yeah.
It's actually the old logo.
The old logo.
It's the old logo with me doing the shush that everybody said made me.
a sci-op and all that stuff, you know, apparently.
One eye closed, one eye opened.
Literally when I had that logo made, I didn't even like understand.
I still don't understand stuff.
But like back then I was like, oh, it looks really cool.
Like a leika made, anyways, I said, we need Isaac Weissop to do a breakdown of your
occult symbolism.
Yeah.
And your old logo.
I was just like, I thought it looked cool, you know, and they're like, you're trying to
tell us someone without saying it.
I'm like, no, it's just me shushing and I don't know.
So I moved to a six-finger handprint
thinking that was safe.
Apparently that's not safe either.
See, he's a Nephilim.
He's Team Nephilim.
I'm like, no.
So then I create a slingshot nation
as to counter the Nephilim handprint.
You know, we're identifying the Giants
and now are slaying them with the slingshot.
And they're going to come up with something about that
and not have to create another show
just to combat that one.
Oh, man.
It'll just be called I hate Nephilim.
Yeah.
The show's going to be called, I'm a nice guy.
I swear.
Really, there's no sci-op here.
I don't think until, you know, whatever.
But I have, I've been wanting to do this like East Tennessee, Tennessee Appalachia vibe episode with you guys.
And I know we hit on it at times, but there's always something.
There's always something.
I mean, we still haven't even actually explored the Back Creek's,
stone, like thoroughly. We haven't explored the, what's that wall that you were talking about?
That's down south? Chitata. Yeah. And so there's just, there's so much here. We haven't snuck
onto Oak Ridge yet. That won't happen officially publicly. That won't happen officially publicly,
okay? That will not happen, Oak Ridge. What are you doing? I'm just joking. What are you doing?
We're live. It's going to be fine. Can't take me anywhere. Can't. You have to understand the seriousness
of this nature.
No, I mean, Oak Ridge is wild.
Ben just learned about Oak Ridge, too.
Oh, really?
Yeah, so we were watching a video on Oak Ridge,
and that's what we do.
It's either Gemma's requesting worship songs
on the way of school,
or we're watching weird Tennessee videos.
That's awesome.
And he learned about Oak Ridge and the Secret City,
and he talked about it as if it was gone.
I said, no, Oak Ridge is still here.
And he's like, what?
I was like, yeah.
it's still here and it's operating.
He's like, no way, you know?
So I don't know.
I just love blowing that kid's mind.
Before we go any further.
There's a visitor center, though.
Like, we should take the kids.
Yeah, totally go.
Yeah, just not sneak.
No, I understand.
Yeah, no, we're just clarifying.
Not sneaking.
Just going legally.
We just want to see the dogmen that linger around at night.
And it's probably possible, you know, all things are possible.
So moving on here, before we go into too much further here,
we have a guest but returning guest.
So a couple weeks ago, we had Ricky here on the member episode.
Ricky, how you doing, man?
Oh, doing great, doing great.
There's so much about old courage.
Wow.
Can I say it?
No, no, no.
Actually, no, no, I'll tell you later.
I'll tell you later.
All right.
Well, you're like, you're a veteran at this because the audience hates when people
say, I'll tell you off air.
So you're already batting a thousand.
That's great.
So we had, you and I sat down and did a member episode and there's like this extensive coverage
of your life that we're doing on that show and then even into today.
And there was a natural break because you're actually local.
So, you know, the members know this, but just for the people who are watching right now
that aren't members, you and I sat down to do a remote interview together.
and logistical reasons it wasn't working
and through talking,
we realize you're literally right down the road from the studio.
And, I mean, there was one time I had,
old school listeners would remember this probably,
I had a guy in here who, from Haysai, Virginia,
when he was a kid,
had him and his siblings and friends or whatever,
found like a cemetery in the middle of woods
and like this Dracula-looking thing
and like this whole supernatural realm shifting thing happened.
And the guy,
I connected with the guy and he turns out to be in Louisville.
Is that how you say it?
Louisville,
Louisville, Tennessee, which is right over here.
And so like I said, dude, why don't you just come on in here?
And he hopped over here like 30 minutes later.
You're literally like walking distance.
So like, I'm glad you came in again, man.
and I like your swag.
I like your swag.
Right there, always on the hunt.
Oh, yeah.
Yes, sir.
That's good stuff.
Actually, you guys are wearing the same design.
Just you got the hoodie.
I got the hoodie.
You got the t-shirt.
This episode is brought to you by murkmerch.com.
Go ahead and get your Merk-merch.
Hats, hoodies, t-shirts.
Jack's got a hat on over there.
We're all swagged out today.
Swagged out today from murkmerch.com.
So, yeah, so I wanted to bring you back in
to kind of like put like the button on the back end of your I mean there's a lot I mean I don't think
we even covered everything in the first recording but I want to focus on since you've been in
Tennessee essentially today but to warm into that I think that we established on the first
recording that there is a a dark spiritual element to your storyline with the occult and you moving
here, it doesn't surprise me you have experiences because one, I think that you established in the
first recording that it didn't matter where you lived. This stuff happened. Everywhere.
Everywhere. And so it's without going into great detail, we'll kind of like just touch on some
things so people understand your timeline and story. But before we do that, here in East 10,
to see, there's this let these, all these legends, just tons. And they, they range from
Bigfoot, Dogman, Spear, or Spearfinger, entities, portals, legends of, of little people,
moon-eye children, even to like natural legends where it's like the natives and what they
were involved in, like our friend Brian, who's a local as well.
he was given, I guess, a general location of where an ancient sundial is out in, it's not in
Oak Ridge, but it's like in the mountains in that area. And he believes he found the location.
And when he got to the location, it was up on this like cliff. He was probably, I would say
probably about 200, 300 feet away. And he could see something black, almost like a, like an entity.
or something like moving almost like back and forth where the sundial supposedly is.
Like it was almost like it was guarding it.
And I don't know if he never went back there.
I think he was trying to get me to go with him.
And actually, I did go with him.
That's right.
I totally forgot.
I totally forgot I did that one for that one.
We snuck into the, that's right.
So we found a cave.
My wife always gets mad when we go in caves.
That's fair.
But this cave was like barred.
Can I say this?
Didn't you post it?
Yeah, I did post it.
I didn't.
I can say it.
There was like these metal bars to keep you out of the cave.
And I had a ratchet strap on me.
So I ratchet strapped the bar and pulled the bars apart and could slide through and he slid through.
And we went in.
And it wasn't a cave.
It was an old mine.
Yeah.
That's what it was an old coal mine.
And we go in there and we're looking around.
and that's one of the things with here in East Tennessee, man,
like the cave systems, very extensive.
Tennessee is known to have the most amount of caves,
not per capita, just the most amount of caves of any state in the country.
That includes, you know, Alaska.
There is tons of caves here, and I think they're discovering,
I think it's, I think they discover up to like 150 new caves every year.
Like that, it's just constant, constant.
So if you think about the fact that they're constantly discovering new cave systems here in East Tennessee, or not East Tennessee, in Tennessee.
Like we're literally walking on hollow ground.
When I go out in the woods, the first time I went out with Brian in the woods, we were off trail as one does.
You're very familiar with that.
So we're off trail and he says, watch where you step.
And I'm like, okay.
And I'm thinking like watch where you step is like, it's just a.
bang, it's fine. It happens all the time.
It's like
I'm thinking you're watching where you're stepping
because of snakes or whatever
and he said, no, it's hollow
ground.
I think he
has a theory and I don't want to steal this theory,
but if it's his theory, I agree with it.
That all the missing
people cases and stuff, some of them might
be because people were walking and
a cave system just, they
stepped on hollow ground essentially
and it opened up and they
disappeared because there's so much overgrowth and like deadfall on the ground that could be covering
little tiny 12, 13, 14 inch cave openings and you step one wrong step and you fall and never seen
again. Yeah, there's sinkholes everywhere around here. I mean, like when you first drive around
here, you're like, oh, like the roads are awful. And it's like, oh, no, there's sinkholes everywhere.
And that's why like they have to repatch a lot of these roads because there's sinkholes right off
the side of the road. Right by my house, there's a huge sinkhole at the top of the hill.
So, I mean, like, our church actually has a giant cavern on its property that allegedly goes all the way to...
That's right.
Man with cases in the Tennessee River.
Oh, Tennessee River?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like, they had to fill it in.
So our church is, well, the church is officially 130 years old.
They were at this location.
Brother Gary, I think he was like in his 20s when they moved the barn.
They, they had, they, I don't know if somebody gave him a barn or what, but they, they lifted this barn.
and drove it to our church.
That's like the most East Tennessee ever.
And he said that he remembers sitting on top of the barn
and with like a broomstick or something
and lifting up wires to go over the barn
as they were pulling it.
And so they took it in pieces.
It wasn't just one giant barn,
but they took it in pieces.
And I think he said he was in his 20s.
And so that was probably like 40, 50 years ago at this point.
And so, I mean, the location that,
the church is at, it's been there for a while.
And apparently there's some large cave on the property that they filled in because they didn't want people going inside.
Well, the story is Johnny Knoxville from MTV.
That's why he's Johnny Knoxville is that he and his buddies went into the cave.
Really?
And like the fat one got stuck in the cave or something.
And that's why they had to close it off.
Are you serious?
That's the story I heard.
I don't know if it's true.
Well, right here it's true.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised.
I wouldn't put it past them.
We'll say it's true.
We'll say it's true.
All things are true if we say it on the show, right?
So the case systems here, though, is so extensive.
And when you think about, like, pure logistics and, like, just set aside the dark, occultic angle of it, if you just think about, like, the physical aspect of it, and people would say, you know, where are all these creatures at and stuff?
I've said this for years, even before I had this podcasting, I think there's a strong likelihood they're under our feet.
You know, even when I was living in Pennsylvania, I was like, there's cave systems.
And very well likely, if these things are out there, they could navigate them.
And that's natural shelter for them.
Yeah, I always wondered, you know how Bigfoot has his weird, like, spider crawl?
Like, what if that's him naturally going through the cave systems?
Yeah.
Like, if he actually had to learn, like, how to crawl like that to get through those narrow passages.
And so he just keeps doing it when he's on surface.
There's some, I believe, I don't know exactly who did it, but they got GROC to map out, what is it, Bigfoot sightings, bigfoot encounters and everything in this area.
And it mapped out perfectly with waterways, one, and secondly, with where there are known, what is it, underground caverns, like cave systems.
Wow.
And that really stood out to me.
And you saying about the spider crawl?
Do you know about the spider crawl?
I saw the spider crawl.
You saw the spider crawl?
I saw the spider crawl.
Was it here in Tennessee?
Here in Tennessee.
Oh, man.
Don't jump the gun.
We'll get to it.
We'll get to it.
See, we can't empty the clip now.
We need to do audience retention.
Don't you go anywhere.
He's got some stories.
Okay.
Don't you go nowhere now.
So that's interesting because
I remember when we recorded for the member episode,
we explored so much stuff.
I had Jack pulling up old member episodes and stuff.
Things you were saying was like clicking in my head.
I was like, that sounds familiar.
But one of the things I brought up was Martin Groves
and his experience in the LBL with the Dogman
and the Bigfoot that were there too at the same time.
And he said that one dropped down on all four.
And I don't think he ever detailed doing a spider cross.
but, um, Jack, I don't know. Oh, darn it. I don't think it's on the computer or you probably
don't even have it. The spider crawl, uh, image that I have from that guy. Uh, I'll try,
at some point during this broadcast, I'll try to get it to you and, uh, you can put it up on
the screen over here so, so they can see it. I have a, um, there's a, there's a guy in Ohio. So,
you're familiar with Wes from Sasquatch Chronicles, right?
Yeah.
Okay, so he, I guess he, I don't know if he's the originator, not the originator,
but the first one I really talk about publicly, but I know he got a lot of heat for
back in the day.
I mean, we're talking probably like 12, 15 years ago now.
But he said that during his experience that the Sasquatch dropped down on all four
and crawled.
And people are like, that's crazy, that's impossible.
Bigfoot doesn't do that.
And it turns out that he's not the only one
that has experienced this spider crawl phenomenon.
I have it right here, Jack.
Me too.
I got it.
Okay, make sure you crop it so it's not that big long one.
Make it like square or something so it's bigger on the screen.
Does it make sense?
Yeah.
Okay.
Thank you.
But there's been other people, like I talked to a woman
in Washington for the documentary we were shooting
that she said that this thing,
it was like eating mushrooms that came up on it.
And she said,
not only did it drop down on all four,
it had turned and looked at them,
facing them.
And it didn't drop down all four facing them,
like towards them.
She said it dropped down on all four,
like it went backwards like this.
Oh.
So,
so like its torso is facing up
the air and it literally walked up the hillside looking at them with his torso facing up.
Billy Elish.
Yeah.
Maybe one.
Maybe one Billy Elish.
Is it Elish, Elish, or Eilash?
I don't even know.
Elish.
It's not eyelash.
It's not eyelash.
I'm old.
I don't know.
But so there's his experience, her experience.
There's been other people.
And then there's this guy in Ohio who, his name is Cor.
I don't want to give his last name out because I don't know where he's at when it comes to this type of stuff anymore.
He used to be really into a kind of thing.
But first name is corky.
First person I ever met named corky.
I was like, that's a quirky name, corky.
I never heard it.
I don't know if it's an actual name or if it's a nickname, you know, but it's corky.
It's like cork with it at Y on the end.
And so he at the time when he was actually like talking, I think he was actually on the Saskwatch Chronicles.
at one point.
He would talk about how he had Bigfoot on his property in Ohio.
Now, Ohio is known for tons of Bigfoot activity, tons.
And I don't know exactly where in Ohio he lives.
But he was on at Satchewa Chronicles talking about all these experiences he had.
Oh, I remember now what it was is one of the things that I first heard about him was he said that the big foot on his property would mimic his voice.
his voice
or not mimic his voice
but they would call in his dog
that's what it was. His dog's name was Cookie
I think and he would be outside
with his dog Cookie and he would hear
like something from in the woods go
Cookie
because it was like his thought was that
it was listening to him call his dog
and started mimicking him
and whatever he was saying
so if I ever hear anything
in the woods and my house go
Oscar. I was like, no.
No, Oscar, come back.
No. And a high squeal pitch.
Oscar, no.
It's like that guy that they did the intervention with
on that video and they're like
they're doing the intervention. He just goes,
whee-ha-ha!
You know what I'm saying?
That's me if Bigfoot starts calling my dog
into the woods.
As you,
as you load your mag in.
Oh, yeah, 100%.
It's like, this isn't going to work,
but I'm going to try.
You know?
Yeah, I was actually, I saw on,
I think it was on Instagram,
or I forget where it was,
I sent it to you guys.
There was the,
that office chair with the,
the swivel arm that you can put an AR on.
But, yeah,
but I was like,
got my gears turned.
I was like,
I wonder if I could put a swivel arm
on my side by side.
And I was like,
I think we're going to do that,
you know?
Because it turns out you can.
And I'm like, Tennessee, why stop there?
Go for the 50 cow.
Yeah, right?
And I'll just drive my side by side with the 50 cow on the side of it down to the diner.
He's just like, hey, guys, I'm here for my daily burger, you know?
But anyways, this is the picture of the spider crawl that Corky actually took from his house.
He said that this was a smaller one, juvenile in his yard.
And this was a picture taken.
I believe off a game trail cam that he had on his house facing outward.
And after this was taken, this thing continued to come towards the house.
And I believe up onto the front porch.
So, like, obviously it's hard to see what that is.
But there is another one, but they're basically the same thing.
He said that this was like a juvenile in his Ohio yard doing the spider crawl.
So let's just remove even cloaking as an option here.
Like, if they can climb trees, right?
Like, they're known to be in the trees.
They're known to be behind trees.
If they can do that as well, like, you're never going to see them.
Like, if they have the ability to kind of, like, mask themselves in any kind of terrain, like, I don't like the way you're moving towards like non-woo, but yeah.
I'm just removing it because, like, that's freaky enough, man.
Like that's.
Oh, yeah, totally.
Can you imagine?
Can you imagine?
Well, apparently you can, but like.
I'll say it to him. Can you imagine? I can't imagine.
Like, Ghali, like, you see a massive 10-foot creature. That's one thing. Now you see that massive 10-foot creature on all four real load of the ground. And now it's like you're standing taller than it, but you know it's bigger than you.
Dude, I want to be like Frodo and pull out my staying sword, my little elven sword and hopefully it glows and I can stab the thing. Right. Right? Like that's what I'm thinking in my mind.
Yeah. So anyways.
That was for all our nerds out there.
Yeah.
Don't worry.
I appreciate it.
Big nerd here.
Literally, big nerd.
Big.
Big.
You see how Tony just shut down there?
He's like, movies.
I'm like, I don't know what they're talking about.
I know.
I was trying to make it quick.
That's fine.
I mean, you got to do what you got to do.
So anyways,
bringing it back to us,
I was going to start saying, like, I don't know,
how long we've been doing this, but for 15 minutes now.
At some point, maybe in the next couple of weeks and stuff, I'd like to do a
Slingshot Nation where we kind of touch on some weird things in Appalachia.
Maybe we'll focus on East Tennessee, but there's so much.
I'd like to have another episode like that.
But because you're here, we can still hit on Weird Tennessee,
just East Tennessee, just through your own personal experiences.
before we get into what's going on here in Tennessee with you
and what you've experienced,
is there like a 30,000-foot view of what you can tell people about yourself
that before you got to see...
All right, let me do it for you.
Let me do it for you.
You can fill in blanks.
That might be the best way to do it.
So, first of all, you started out the member episode
talking about how you found out, like, 200 years ago,
a grandfather, a great, great, grand, great, great, great, great-grandfather was, for lack of
terms, an occultist, he was practicing heavy, dark, occultic magic to the point that it's self-healing
magic. And we ventured to consider this idea of, in order to have that kind of access to
that kind of level of magic, is there a legal right that was sold for?
future generations and lineage. And turns out that I think you said it was your great-grandmother,
your great-great-grandmother, who is also practicing a cultist. And then things seem to kind of
seep into your life. And we kind of established a little bit of a narrative on that episode where
it, for me, this is me speaking, it seems like there is an active push by the darkness to
claim your generation in your family. So you have these siblings and stuff. And
And you guys all have these experiences that are radical experiences.
And I ventured the thought and the guess and the consideration that is it possible that when somebody is in a family lineage that sold the bloodline is that does that have an expiration date for the next 10 generations?
And if that expiration date is coming up, could it be that the experiences you guys are having is, is,
that darkness, not trying to get its last efforts in,
because I don't think that was the original point back then,
but maybe almost like trying to woo the next generation
to re-up on that legal contract.
I believe it. I believe it.
I've seen very dark things.
I've seen power of darkness.
And thankfully, I've also seen the power of light and the power of God.
And I think a lot of us in my generation, my family,
we see the power of God and we've gone with the power of God
instead of the power of darkness.
That's a good answer.
That's a good answer.
So I'll say the first thing that we talked about was how,
and this is where it gets dark.
I mean, it's like you can't say that this dog man
was hiding in a cave system and came out.
You were in New York City.
right?
Oh, yeah, New York City.
In the middle of New York City,
in Hell's Kitchen, nonetheless,
during a, during a, a blackout.
Yeah.
Dad goes out, goes out to go get batteries or whatever,
maybe fight off crackhead around the block to come back home.
And we're over here just, like, huddled up like a bunch of little kids.
Just, hey, don't go out this, don't go out,
uh, don't go out into the hall, don't do anything, just stay put.
and next thing we know, we see
this giant dog man.
I'm out of the bathroom.
Mind you, I would not go into that bathroom
for like a good month after that.
Yeah.
I mean, I had to take bath.
I had to take showers and baths up at my,
my aunt's apartment up on the seventh floor.
Really?
Yeah.
Dude, that's the fear, though, right?
Every time you go in, you got to like pull a curtain back.
You're like, hopefully nothing's there.
To this day, I still pull the curtain.
I go into a bathroom.
I go into the bathroom.
I pull the current.
All right, cool.
I can use it.
It's empty.
Yeah, we all have our own weird things that we do.
So you have this experience, but it's layered and it's long.
This thing comes out in front of you and your siblings.
It's very physical.
There was a precursor event that you saw in the bathroom, like the glow.
And it seemed like almost like something was opening, like a rift was opening.
And this thing, event.
eventually never takes its eyes off, you guys, backs back into the bathroom, but then a witch comes out, right, of the bathroom. She's wearing like these rags and everything. And I had ventured the idea to you that could have been, could this have been like a skin walker scenario? And you never considered that. And I think the jury is still out on that experience because there's way more detail to it. But that was like the genesis, the beginning of, of your run-ins with some of these creatures. And, you know, you had several.
But there was one where you, I think this was like a point where the darkness was probably the closest to you, almost grabbing you, almost getting you.
Because you were out in the woods.
And like, if I remember correctly, you didn't go out there with the plan to do this, but you found yourself doing a ritual, right?
Essentially.
Yeah.
Like, like, you didn't do it.
Like, you didn't go out there for that.
purpose.
I used to just go out, run in the woods, read some books, maybe draw something.
But this one time, like I told you, last time it was, I went out there and I said, hey,
I just had thoughts coming in my head, ideas.
And I said, oh, cool.
Let me just carve this into a tree, smear it with blood and see what happens.
Whoa.
Yeah.
Oh, you must have missed that part.
It did.
Yeah.
Not only carve some things, but it was.
In French, the word werewolf, and then in German, the word bloodbath.
Bloodbath.
Whoa.
And then he cemented it with his blood, and immediately things kicked off.
Wow.
And then you're taken to a scene where it sounds almost like out of episode 335,
Dog versus Dogman, where Kyle sees this giant massive dog in the woods on all four,
and then it stands up.
Very similar situation.
and he also saw these massive shadowy,
like he didn't see details,
so I don't want to say shadowy as in like they were poofs,
but there was like a silhouette of something very large, massive,
like there was three of them?
Yeah, and two of them.
And they had,
they have these like conical heads of these strange conical heads.
Like first thing I even thought of was like,
what is it,
the Lost Ark,
Raiders of the Lost Ark or something.
And I was just like, whoa,
like I felt like if I were to run in either direction,
either towards this dog man or to those figures,
I would have died.
I just,
I could feel hatred emanating from these things.
Wow.
Like they,
like maybe I summoned something in the middle of its dinner,
and now I was going to become dinner.
Wow.
What was that feeling you had like to do it?
Was it just like,
was it,
I know that your believer,
like was it similar like what you would consider like
the Holy Spirit, kind of like a impression, or was it something like a little deeper than that
to, to greater, something darker. Something darker. It was, it was dark, but it was also,
I was also very curious. Something that would, that piqued my curiosity. Something that told me,
hey, let's see what happens when we do this. And mind you, I was like 13. I'm 13. What 13 year
old isn't curious.
Yeah.
And yeah, no, no.
My curiosity almost killed the cat.
Wow.
But you're still ticking.
Thank God.
Do you think you like, maybe you have like a special like ability of perception as well, like to see things maybe the other people can't see?
Thought about that a lot, a lot in my childhood because I would also see, what is it?
I see a lot of shadow figures when I was a kid.
be it at school or be it especially at home when we lived in in hell's kitchen a lot of weird things
a lot of weird things in that building yeah and it makes you like it makes you wonder where because
I mean could it be both or or either or is it that he has an ability or not as much of ability
but a target you know sure and either way I think I think I think
think whatever whatever it is, I think the phenomenon, for lack of better terms, is aware of you
and seeks to reveal itself to you no matter where you're at. That's what it feels like to me.
And not only you, but your siblings too, like your sister saw a dogman creature, right? That one time?
Yeah, it was that in Jersey? It was in Jersey. We were at a at a seven-de-de-de-vance
like campery out there.
And yeah, they, so we actually had, so it was always a hearsay.
And then we actually found out that there was a satanic church or cult right across the
mountain from us on the other side of the mountain from this San Francisco, like camping ground.
Like so much, it was so bad up in that part of the mountain nearing their part,
nearing that satanic land that there was once a,
a house for a chaplain or, you know, a pastor to always be there.
And they said it was haunted.
The last chaplain that was there was over like 12, 15 years ago.
And very strange, very dark things happened there.
Nobody uses it anymore.
It is abandoned.
And they saw these people in black robes.
And then they saw this massive dog creature, this black dog creature, this black dog creature.
almost materialized
like out of thin air and chase them
and
when you say chase
it wasn't like chase and catch
it was more like an escort situation
I think it was an escort situation
because if this
if something of that of that size
and that that power
whatever power it has
it could have caught up to them
and it probably could have ripped all of them apart
there were a bunch of little kids
yeah well
that's a common thread
that gets pulled out a lot with this stuff
I mean, people have these experiences that live to talk about it,
and it's almost as if the goal was not to kill.
Because, like, what you have seen throughout your life,
these different beings, if they wanted to,
even though you're a massive human being,
it would have got you and it would have taken care of business.
And so, again, the legal side of things,
and I don't have the rulebook on it, I wish I had it.
We would spend an entire episode reading through it.
Um, but it's called the Bible.
Yeah.
Actually, that's good, that's a good book.
Good poll, Derek.
Um, but, uh, yeah, I mean, it's like, I don't know what it is that, that is restraining
almost, but it does make me feel like there is a coming of time where these kind of
things may not be as restrained.
And when that happens, um, boy, oh boy, uh, have your Nephlin Blaster 2000 ready.
Like, it's going to get real.
Around these bullets real quick.
Yeah, exactly.
Some holy bullets.
Everybody should have silver bullets in their trucks.
Everybody should keep the silver bullets locked and loaded in the truck.
It's like you have a mag just for that.
He's, oh, I need that mag.
Switch it out, clip it in.
All right, we're good.
Go ahead.
No, I was just curious, like, was it your great-grandfather then?
That was the French.
Great, great, great, great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather.
Yeah, like that was my great-grandmother's great-great-grandfather.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
But the great grandmother was also a practitioner.
She was also a practitioner.
She was doing some Sontaria and whatnot.
Sweet lady.
Beautiful heart.
But, you know, she made sure that she was the last,
she was the last one to do these things because she saw what it did.
Oh, so she understood.
She understood what was going on.
And most of my great aunts, my grandmother herself,
they know that there has been there's been something that happened there's something that happened
in our in our family bloodline spiritually and uh they do they make sure that we don't go through
those things there's always there's constant prayer going on in my family especially in my uh my father's
matrilineal line not so much my mother's uh line of family line they're they're praying non-stop
anyway so yeah they're they're the happy go lucky uh i
Islanders that are just like, hey, let's have some fun.
No, I just wonder because, like, I know I've heard the Masonic pledge at some level,
and basically you're cursing like your third and fourth generation intentionally so that
they can be blessed in the present.
So, like, I wonder if that is like something similar.
This is where my mind's working right now.
Like, where your great grandfather, like, because he was being able to heal himself and
do those things, he was pulling it from the future, essentially, to have that power.
Because it always comes at a cost.
blood for blood, life for life, you know?
So it's like you wonder how that has played out
in the course of your family history.
My father, he heard from one of my great uncles
that's now passed.
And one of my great aunts who's still with us, thank God.
She's also corroborated that in our bloodline we have had,
in that bloodline we have had, you know, that people,
that would become like beasts.
Wow.
And I don't know what that means exactly,
but whatever it means,
I just know that I,
in my path of just with the Lord,
I've done a lot of deliverance,
and every day I'm praying for deliverance
from these generational curses,
be they known or unknown,
and if they are unknown,
may they please become known to me so that I may.
speak i may pray on them and may have the uh the blood of christ fall upon them and disintegrate
whatever ties they have to us amen amen so what specific like nationality bloodline would that be
then the french one or the that would have to be the french and the spanish french and spanish interesting
okay so um deliverance do you feel like uh that has had an impact on you yes we up until uh
Reese, maybe a couple of months, maybe six or seven months ago, we were having slaps and slams on the
backside of the house. We would have, we, we, we, one day, we found this massive, like, handprint
on the, on the backside of the house. And it was, it was pretty high up there, like, maybe, like,
seven and a half feet up there. And we're just thinking, these crazy neighbors, it's got to be,
We've got to have like some like six and a half, like some six nine, six eight foot tall dude out here just.
Andre the Giant's our neighbor.
Yeah, Andre the Giant is our neighbor and he's just slapping our house.
So we would go out.
We would go out.
This is maybe like two, three months after I come back from the Navy.
I'm over here.
I'm still aching.
My back is still kind of broken.
I'm over here.
We're over here.
Not to mention my dad isn't any better.
But we're both to, I don't want to say disabling.
or handicapped, but we're two broken, we're two broken bodies, we're two broken bodies walking,
doing security runs around the house. And mind you, the incline where my house is, is anywhere
between 50 and 70 degrees. So we're over here walking in a circle around this massive
incline of a house and, uh, armed, not armed to the teeth, but we're armed and we're over here.
I'm over here, uh, walking in and going, all right, all clear.
on clear on the east side.
He's like, yeah, I'm all clear on the west side.
Meet up and we go, all right, there's no tracks.
There's nothing.
I don't see anything.
Next night, the same thing.
Then my father, my mother started teaching my father and I about deliverance.
I think she saw it on like, on one of her,
on one of her Facebook reels or something.
And we started exercising deliverance at our house.
And since then, we know they're there.
We know whatever it was is out there.
But it no longer comes out on it no longer comes on the property.
They, it.
Well, I'll tell you what, man.
Like, it's interesting because we're here in Marrival, Tennessee, you and I.
You talk about this house being slapped.
I've had that experience right here.
I have had that experience here.
And I almost forgot about.
You mentioned the sliding the house several times to me since I met you.
And I never, I got, that's one of the biggest curses I have is that I hear so much stuff.
I forget so much stuff, even my own stuff.
But my neighbor Toby, I know he watches sometimes too, which is always makes me a little uncomfortable.
But Toby, if you're watching right now, please leave it in the comment section so you can verify.
that this actually happened.
I was sitting in my house,
and I believe it was with my son,
on the couch with me.
I think, yeah,
because Lindsay was putting my daughter to bed,
and I can't even call it a slap.
Like, it sounded like a boom onto my house.
It was, like, it was so,
it was weird how it happened,
because it was directionless.
I couldn't figure out where it came from.
It was like the window,
but it wasn't there and you felt it.
Like, Lindsay, I went into Gemma's bedroom and asked her,
and she's like, I heard it.
She's like, it's like, it's like, like, vibrated.
And I was like, yeah.
Like, it was very directional in the sense.
Like, it was like on my house.
And I just couldn't like pinpoint where, right?
So I get the AR out, you know, put the tent on my hip.
You know, maybe grab a little pocket knife for the pocket, you know?
I'm not right.
And I'm walking around my house with the AR and my neighbor, Toby.
And this is, I think, I don't think we knew each other very well at this point.
I think he knew I was weird.
But, like, you know, and I'm walking around the house.
And he comes out on his back deck.
And he goes, you?
And I say, hey, man.
And he goes, what you doing?
I said, sound like something smacked my house.
And I'm just walking around.
sure things good. And he said, he said, yeah, my family heard that. And he said, I didn't hear anything,
but I'm deaf. He said, but my kids and my wife heard it. And they said it sounded like it came from
your house. And I was like, noted. And I swept around the property. I think I even walked the border
of the property, the fencing down in the woods area. And I didn't, nothing. There was no, I didn't see anything.
And that didn't spawned what I'm about to say, but since then I do do this.
Every night, I pray protection over my property inside the house and outside the house.
Specifically, I asked the Lord to send his holy angels to protect us in our home while we sleep with our guards down.
and also to have his angels border our property to keep anything from coming on to the land.
And, you know, it's a little ritualistic, you know, for sure.
But I don't sleep nearly as well if I don't do it.
In fact, the one night I forgot to do it because just our bedtime routine was thrown out of whack.
And I was, I woke up from what I would say, a, it wasn't,
just a dream. It was like a lucid dream where I was laying in my bed on my right side, face my wife
in the dream. But in real life, everything was that way too. I was actually laying that way.
Everything was the same. I was in my room. But there was this, like, I had this, like, out of body
experience in the dream of this point where I was, like, over my body and standing next to my bed,
watching this cloaked person or thing hovering over, not hovering, like, floating, but like leaning
over my body wadding a wad of hair like whispering things over me and um and i and i i that's when
i woke up and i i swung back i'm like well you know and i you know i go out in my uh my living room
i grab my bible and i and i was just going to start reading and praying and um you know those
are druidic witch like druidic witches right oh yeah 100 like i i i trust me the druids are
are not new to me uh had two of them at
the house before.
So yeah.
And I was like, they're back.
Dang it.
Not in person.
Not in person.
It's a long story.
Thank you for clarifying that, Jack.
Actually,
they can get,
they can get to the place.
They can get to places.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
So, all right.
Okay.
I'm sorry.
You're hijacking the show.
I'm making it about me, man.
But here we go.
Here we go.
You rang the bell.
So to button that up,
I go out in the living.
room and I'm just standing there because I'm so tired that I'm not the kind of person that I can
just pray like rapid fire prayers any time a day and like a lot of my charismatic friends would
be able to. I'm very like introverted in my prayer life as well where it's just like everything
I say is like from my heart and it's like thawed out a lot like I get my anyways I'm standing
there trying to wake up so I can even just read my Bible and I really felt
the Holy Spirit, like, revealed to me that I didn't guard my, I didn't put up the guard on my
house that night and something came in, which just shows me the reality of the attacks on life,
right?
But anyways, the Druid thing, we had, in the first episode that you were with me, I talked to you
about that one guy, Hunter, that had the dog manifest.
Well, he came out here for another recording, and he had a lucid dream, out of body,
dream experience that I believe God pulled him and sent him on.
Unless he's lying, which I don't think he's lying.
And I know people would suggest that he's lying,
but I suggest that he was lying to him and I talked to him about it.
I don't believe that he's lying.
If he's lying, it means that he literally went out of his way to stalk me.
And it just, I just, I don't see that happening with him.
So he's sitting here and he says,
is he has one more thing to tell me.
And I'm like, what's that?
And he asked me if a certain number means anything to me.
And I looked at Jack and I was like, yeah, it's my house number.
And then he proceeds to tell me a dream that he had where he was standing in front of my house.
And he tells me exactly how my house looks to a T.
There's some errors.
Like he said that my house number was on my house, but my house number is not on my house.
It's on my mailbox.
I don't have my house number of my house.
And he mentioned there was a wind or he mentioned the one wall.
He forgot there was a door on that wall.
I don't know if he didn't see that.
Because when you have these experiences,
it's not always 100% accurate.
But like he described me the way my driveway shaped,
the way my road shape, my house, the hills, everything.
Like he was there.
And he said he saw me getting out of my truck.
And he said there was these two cloaked figures
standing behind me and they walked behind me into my house with me. He said I went around the back
of my house and they followed me around the back of my house into the house. And I didn't know what to do
with that. I was like, what the heck? This was years ago. I called Pastor Dave Brian who I had just
got done talking to who he has his own testimony. Like he adopted Anton LeVe's daughter.
Yeah, crazy stuff. But he stops me in the middle of telling him. He's like, those are druids. He's like,
you have druids that are coming after you.
And then that was confirmed to me by my friend Joseph Z, who the first time I ever met him,
he was asking me about different things.
And I don't want to get into all the details, but he asked me if he could pray for me about something.
And I initially said, no.
I was sitting there like, no.
And he's like, all right.
And then he got to pray for me anyways on other things.
And when he was praying with me, he has his hand on my shoulder.
and he just pauses and he's like,
and you witches,
I see you.
And he bind them in the name of Jesus Christ.
And I was just like,
wow, okay.
That happened.
But anyways,
Druids,
slapping in the house,
trying to backtrack how we got here.
So,
so slap the house.
And I don't know what happened with that whole thing.
And I don't think it ever happened again.
But my neighbor said that his family thought it came from my house.
It sounded like he came from my house.
It sounded like came from my house.
So I don't know if that's a thing that these idiot entities want to do in this area or what,
but it's interesting that you had the similar experience.
I'm putting it back on you now.
No, yeah.
That was insane.
My parents also, on one occasion, it wasn't a dog man.
It must have been a puppy boy or something.
Okay.
Hey, they got to start somewhere.
It was small.
and my parents, I've always told them to put a gate at that are, I guess, the entrance to their,
uh, to their, I guess, uh, front porch. I've always wanted them put a gate there. Just out of, you
know, I want security. I'm very security minded. Maybe a little too much. But, uh, yeah, we,
we've got cameras and everything everywhere. And, uh, that night, uh, the camera, the camera wasn't
working and they say that this weird at first they thought it was a deer they thought it was a
very husky deer but then it's it was kind of like almost it was on all fours very low like
and then it kind of like looks up it looks up at them makes like a weird little howl sound and then
runs off back up the hill up the side of the house towards what they say is the uh
It's like a, it's federal land.
It's federal land up there about like 120 acres of it.
And then it connects to some other stuff.
But it's, it's a weird part of the,
it's the weird part of the neighborhood where,
where we definitely,
we have the green belt that comes by the house.
And it comes all the way up past the,
this,
an old, I think it's a cancer research,
facility that's not to go there but it's still where it's the lights are still on there's
maintenance still going on there they say that it was bought out by the federal government again
federal government after if they went the company went under and now we just have this place
that there used to be a lot of cars that used to go there now there's like one car or two cars that'll
go there middle the night you'll see every now and then a truck uh hit hit hit that place not that
I'm just, not what I'm here.
That's here, here in Marival.
Oh, yeah.
And I'm over here.
There's, and you see a, you see a bunch of, uh, underground ventilation shafts all around
the place.
So the, the underground is larger than the actual structure from what I can see.
And, uh, my father and I, whenever we walk, we walk that belt, but when we used to,
we used to walk that, that part, that end of the belt, we'd go, oh, yeah.
So that, that, that, this.
land over. We look on our phones and stuff. We'd look
go, okay, yeah, this land over here.
This farmland connects up there to the
federal land, and then somebody
owns about 800 acres over here.
Because we're always
thinking, like, thinking big and going, hey,
what if we were to just buy
a couple more acres and invite some family?
And, or, hey, let's
buy some acres and keep Marival.
Marival. Let's keep it. Let's keep a
country. Yeah. Way
too late. Yeah. No, but
Yeah, that, they saw that.
And my dad goes, hey, I was away for that weekend.
I come back and my brother, my dad goes, hey, I saw, we saw a little dog boy, dogman,
werewolf child.
That's crazy.
Puppet boy.
Yeah, I mean, I don't know if you're familiar with Scott Carpenter.
Yes.
He lives 10 minutes from the studio here before he passed away.
and he documented this stuff extensively in this area.
His son kind of took on his mantle
and is running with things the best he knows how.
But I think he's juggling trying to respect his dad's wishes
of him not getting too involved in this stuff.
And I think he's also like curious.
And so...
The green belt over by where I live.
We've never been able to get too deeply into it.
we've never been able to walk too deeply into it because I don't know if it's I'm I'm able to see things or if I'm able to discern
things around me but I went there once with my brother my my brother and his wife and my nephew
went out there one day when she was pregnant with her with her second child now and uh we were just
getting weird vibes uh we were seeing weird like um branches like like
little trees put together to create like almost doorways.
Every like every couple of every several hundred like not 100 feet,
but like 50 feet, 20 feet apart, one here, one there.
And I wasn't even think at that time,
I wasn't even thinking about, you know, Bigfoot or anything.
I was our, or a dog man, I'm over here thinking, dude, this is a Faytrap.
There's some weird fay trap.
There's some weird magic stuff.
let's get out of here.
My brother, he's the same way.
He was like, yeah.
He goes, he picks up, he picks up my nephew.
He's like, all right, all right, buddy.
We're going to go play baseball over there.
Is this a little brother?
Yeah.
All right, so he's only six feet.
I'll keep track of who we're talking about how massive they are.
Do we cover that on the show yet?
So let's get into the Greenway Trail that,
You had that experience on.
So you have stuff happening at the house.
You have the 120 acres of federal property that connects to the house's property.
Is that right?
Yeah.
It's right behind us.
It connects.
It connects.
So there's a large field owned by my neighbor that nobody uses.
He just mows it, but rest in peace, he doesn't moat anymore.
And I guess his son or son-in-law doesn't do it.
So this grass is just grown.
It's insane.
And you used to be able to look across the field and into what is the opening of that federal land.
And it's dark.
There are massive trees and undergrowth there.
You look over from there.
It would be the middle of the day, darkness in that little area.
And you just get a weird, very primal feeling just run up your spine.
Mm-hmm.
Well, at least my spine.
Is there any, have you ever heard of any legends or lore that comes out of that specific location?
Not much.
I know that around that location, I've spoken to a few, like, older people that have been there longest.
They go, yeah, yeah, there's, there's things out here at night.
Things, things you should, you know, keep your blinds shut, keep your windows closed.
And if you hear your name, you know, you didn't.
if you see something, no, you didn't.
Don't whistle at night.
And you'll be fine.
He's giving me the blueprint
on how to summon
where Tony's going to be tonight.
Whistling in my woods.
Just go for a walk.
Just go for a walk.
Yeah, I mean,
even down, we were mentioning
Legends and Lord Pizzeria,
Eddie that owns that place.
I mean, he gets some interesting stories
that come in because of just the shop
and how it's set up.
but there's this
I haven't heard this story in a while
I haven't told the story in a while
so I can't remember all the details
but there was two situations
where two different sets of people
came into his shop
to tell him about a
like a blue cloaked entity
or something like that
that was on the side of the road
as they were driving by
and pretty relatively close to one another
as far as time frame of the report
I think.
And I think the first or second one, one of the situations,
there was like a flash of light and the being was gone.
And so I don't know.
That's somewhere down in Madisonville area.
I have a video that I share when I do some conferences that, you know,
I wish I would have thought, I wish I knew we were going to go here.
I would have had it already for you, Jack.
He gave me a video that somebody.
gave him at the shop.
So, like, I think it's an 11-second video.
They were driving and they see this upright, gray thing, broad daylight, walking along a tree
line as they're driving by.
And as they get the phone out and they start filming, and it's far off.
Like, it's a very shaky video.
It looks like on the video, this thing dropped.
on all four and starts to run.
And you hear the guy go, what is that?
What?
What?
And then just cuts.
He's like, and then the video is done.
Well, I was able to stabilize it.
And when you stabilize it, it's very clear.
It gets down on all four and starts to take off.
And so I'm just like, well, that more than likely cuts out a guy in a gilly suit, you know?
Yeah.
And so a lot of weird things in this area.
you have Marrival Alcoa the Greenway Trail
you have an experience out there
or was that somebody else that had experience?
I did.
Yeah, what happened there?
So we're always going over to,
we're always in that area.
I go to Walmart over here in Alcoa
and part of the Greenway Trail
goes through that area.
And I remember we're stopped.
It's dusk.
and we're stopped.
There's a huge, there's a bit of, a bit of, a bit of traffic, especially nowadays.
You know that.
Yes.
And we're over here.
I'm looking over here.
I'm able to drive because of my conditions for a couple of years now.
And I'm in the backseat.
I'm looking around.
I'm always looking around.
Like I said, I'm very, very security conscious, very safety-oriented.
I'll look.
I was looking around.
And I look over to the Greenway and I see this almost like very brownish reddish kind of thing.
Crawling across the Greenway path.
Broad daylight.
Broad daylight.
And not on all fours like you'd think a dog is on all fours.
It was down low and crawling on its fingers.
Dude, that's exactly what I was experienced.
And it was reddish.
It was reddish brown.
And this thing, it wasn't huge.
It wasn't big.
It might have been, let's say, maybe seven feet across at the tallest, maybe six feet.
It's crawling across.
I remember just looking at this thing, looking back, looking back at it, and I still see it crawling.
At first I was like, okay, no, no, that's not that.
It's definitely just the, just a bench or something.
and I'm looking at it.
I'm looking at it.
I can't believe what I'm seeing.
And my parents are talking.
They're in their own world.
I'm like, hey, do you guys see that?
And they're like, oh, I'm like, no, no.
I'm over here about to open the car door onto traffic.
I'm like, I need to see this thing closer.
You're in a car.
Yeah.
I'm over here.
Like, I need to see this thing closer.
And then we start pulling away.
And I'm like, I start like fumbling for my phone.
And at that point,
this thing had already crossed the greenway and whatever like little bird or something,
it was like popping up on.
It was tracking.
It might have already got it or it was right into the trees.
And for a good couple months, I would think to myself and I would just think about that.
I was like, no, I was like, could it have been a panther?
I've seen panthers get down real low before, you know, big cats.
They get real low.
was it a crackhead? No, that wasn't a crackhead.
Was it, you know, not that we've got a surplus of them out here.
Marrival's a great place to live. Just don't move here, please.
Sound like a real local. It does.
And no, this, yeah, it was, it was insane. I didn't believe what I saw for a while.
And then I just kept on revisiting, revisiting what I saw. And then I heard,
I heard about Scott Carpenter and I heard about his son and I heard about the things that they used to see that he used to see on the green belt.
I was like, all right.
Now I know that I definitely, if I'm going to go on the green belt, I'm going to be on, I'm not going to ever be alone.
And I'll go through the, the Centennial Parkway.
Because that's where the most people are.
I don't want to mess with anything, you know, on my own.
Yeah.
And was this location near the airport?
Yes, it was, so it's between, so you've got, it's going away from the airport and by the, by the golf course.
Going away from the airport by the golf course.
Yes.
Jack, do you know where that's at?
I know you used to live over there.
Mm-hmm.
I'm muted, yes.
How?
That's actually a spot I think Scott Carpenter had an encounter on.
Well, that's where I was going.
So,
um,
there,
there,
there,
well,
Scott Carbender had a lot of,
a lot of stuff happen.
Um,
I just remember,
was this,
is this,
is this behind the airport?
No.
No.
That's where Travis said that there was a,
he had experiences on the backside.
Scott had experience.
Scott had experiences on the backside of the airport.
This is,
um,
more on the Alcoa side.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I've also heard of,
uh,
what is it?
I don't know if it was on your show.
But I've also heard of,
of a woman who owned some property outside.
She saw a dog man.
Broad daylight.
Broad daylight.
I was looking at a plane flying over.
Yep.
Yeah, that's Scott.
Scott, I wish I could, I wish that I knew who that lady was so I could talk to her.
Scott, she contacted Scott and told him what happened.
I guess her property, I think her husband built like a jogging trail for her or something,
and she was jogging it.
And this thing was standing on all,
not on all four,
on two legs,
and it was standing there,
oblivious to her being there,
and it was looking up
at a plane that was flying over,
a dogman entity,
and then it just took off,
you know, afterwards,
as far as I can remember.
But I believe that happened
behind the airport.
And if I remember correctly,
I'm just looking at the map here.
It,
there is a road,
yeah,
um,
three,
on the map,
map is 333, 33 top side road.
Scott told me before he passed that if you drive back and forth on top side road
between Louisville Road and I-140 where that waggles is, if you just drive back and forth
on that at like two, three, four, probably not four, but like two, three o'clock in the middle
the night, he said, if you do that, you're going to see stuff. He said they are all over
that area.
and I still haven't done it.
You know, sometimes I wonder if I'm deep down aside scared to do something.
Like, you know how like the, you know how the old saying of like a dog catches his tail or catches a car and what are you going to do with the kind of thing?
I feel like that's me at times.
I just like I want to go do it.
But then when it's time to go do it, I'm not even thinking about doing it.
I wonder if that's like a subliminal thing because it's not on my mind to go do it.
Like, I don't know.
do you guys want to go out at 3 o'clock in the morning
sometime and just drive back and forth that road
Jack and I have gone out late a couple
times. Yeah, without me, cool, yeah, moving on.
As long as we're in the vehicle, I'm fine.
As long as we can stay in the vehicle, I'm fine.
The second that you want to step outside,
that's where I'm like, yeah.
And that's the thing.
I know I'm not, like, I know I'm not scared to do it.
I mean, we've run around the woods at night and stuff,
but yeah, what have you guys done without me?
We visited an old cemetery by the river
and had some large splashes around us happen
Cool, man.
Well, I went out with my kids a few days before
and we heard like a shre fall
in the area of the cemetery at dusk.
I must have missed that invitation
on the text message or something.
I'm sorry.
I didn't realize.
He's all butt hurt now.
Hey, listen, life has to keep happening, you know?
Yeah, I know.
And I know we've been professionally warned as well
to not like intentionally go and seek things
because it is an invitation
if you kind of go with the intention to look for things.
So I just try to go out in nature and go on hikes.
That's my goal.
That's how you trick yourself.
Cool.
No, I mean, and that is one thing that you have to,
I have been considering more and more,
which is like what are my intent behind?
What's my intent behind what I was doing and stuff?
And I can honestly say that it got to a point where it wasn't healthy.
I was losing,
I was losing the reason for even doing the stuff
and it became obsession.
And so that's when you start walking dangerous territory, I think.
And so I had a shelf for a little while.
I haven't been out in a while,
but you got to make sure you're doing the right thing.
Like I think, you know, hiking and camping, all this, that's fine.
But like when, like, even going, like,
when you go out there and you're in territory
that this stuff is happening and you're hiking and whatever,
or camping, I don't have a problem with that.
I just think that when I'm going out there with the intention to possibly, I mean,
I've tried lowering this stuff in.
Like, that's when I'm just like, okay, so at what point?
What's the reason here?
What's the point of this?
And it really kind of just comes back to, is this glorifying the Lord?
Is this edifying?
Is this going to what I'm doing right now?
Is this going to push people away or draw, drawing closer to Christ?
Christ, you know, and in the process, am I putting myself in spiritual harm's way for what, right?
And so there's a lot of, like, things that the more I come to understand this stuff,
the more I really lean into the fact that I think a lot of this stuff is dark, spiritual stuff
that manifests, the more I'm just like, I got to be careful, got to be careful, you know.
Right, like, what if we put the same energy into seeking the Holy Spirit?
Yeah.
and having the God of all creation show up and encounter you.
Like to me, that's such a better encounter than any entity, you know.
Oh, yeah, hands down.
Yeah.
Oh, man, I'm not going to lie.
Most of the time, whenever I had any encounter, I was scared out of my wits.
And even to this day, whenever I, if I ever see anything or I ever perceive anything, I'm not going to lie.
have my first reaction or my knee jerk reaction is fear.
It's hard to be, it's hard to not be afraid when you see things like that or when you
perceive things like this.
But I've learned that the best thing to do is to go, all right, I see this fear.
And I raise you, I see this fear, but I'll raise you one with courage.
and not my courage because I have no courage.
I'm going to pray to the Lord and I will have him give me courage.
Because the way I think about it is if God didn't want me to have any of these kind of situations
or go into anything or encounter anything like this, he would not, he was straight up just not allow it.
So I like to think about it sometimes as, okay, I'm going to.
through this not why not go instead of going oh woe oh is me i go all right thank you lord for
this opportunity to become stronger to become more become braver to become uh more astute to
know how to circumnavigate these uh darker these darker uh battlefields these this spiritual
warfare instead of just going oh no run i'm
Now I go, oh, no.
All right, cool.
I ask for this.
Let's get it.
Better you than me.
I would like to see you arm wrestle with Bigfoot.
I would pay for that.
Do you know how much it's got benches?
Tell me.
You tell him.
535.
535.
Was that last week?
Last week.
Last weekend.
Friday.
It was great.
I had an old man walk up to me and go,
leave some waits for the rest of us.
That's cool.
Yeah.
That's never happened to me.
No.
Just imagine what it feels like.
I know, right?
Yeah.
So yeah, East Tennessee, guys, it is a spot that is mysterious.
I think that there's mysterious things all over Appalachia region.
Tennessee itself.
I mean, have you ever looked into the earthquake that happened back in the 1800s?
out on the western side of the state that it shook so hard that they felt it in D.C.
I forget what president was, but he actually was in bed sleeping and he felt it.
That's how hard it shook.
And it shook so hard that I forget what it's called, like when the ground shifts and everything,
the ground almost became like sand and things just dropped through because it shook so hard
that everything just kind of like morphed.
and the Mississippi River, actually,
because there, I guess, something shifted
and it caused the water to stop,
and it went in reverse.
The Mississippi River went in reverse,
and there's a lake that is,
I forget what lake it is,
but it's not a natural lake.
It was caused because when the river went in reverse,
it filled in a certain area,
and that area still has water to this day.
Like, like, it was a catastrophic,
earthquake. And that happened out in East Tennessee area. And so, like, there's so much
history here. I mean, you talk about the Silver War. And imagine the Civil War, I'll call it
treasure that's out there that hasn't been found yet. You know, they would stash silver and
gold when they felt like they needed to ditch it somewhere, often at the base of trees. But then
there's, they would find, obviously there's plenty of cave systems here.
They would stash them in caves.
And sometimes the war goes on.
You never make it make it back for that stuff.
And it just gets lost to time.
Are they like missing trains of money and gold and stuff?
I believe there are.
Yeah.
I believe there are.
It's just, I mean, if I, honestly, I would love to, maybe that's something to strongly consider.
You know, I like the idea of like adventure.
You know, and on YouTube, we have a short little playlist called Twilight Treks with Tony.
And it was just me, like I think the last one I did, I went out into Cades COVID, like 2 o'clock in the morning.
It was like 20 degrees out and riding around on an electric bike, like going to different locations.
And it was weird.
That was a weird night.
But I think it would be fun to do, like, find areas that have legends of, like, treasure in that area and go,
looking for treasure.
Wouldn't that be fun?
That'd be fun.
Get some like metal detectors.
What?
It looks like your light bulbs are going off.
Kodak.
Kodak?
Kodak.
I almost moved to Kodak.
Really?
There's a triangle in Kodak.
Not,
not, there might be treasure there.
I know that there's some
Cherokee stuff out there.
And the reason I bring this up is
last
last month,
I work,
I work for a, uh, for a certain nonprofit, uh, organization. And, uh, they had an event out there.
And what we, when we pulled everything, when we were, uh, you know, bringing everything down,
it came to night, uh, nighttime and some of our vendors were still there, uh, that evening.
And, uh, there's a culvert right behind the, uh, right behind the property.
And there's this thing called the shadow of Kodak.
that came out
because of
apparently some of our vendors
they had they were like
which they we thought it was
you know like something quirky like oh
witch is brew cauldron or something
whatever no we're real
no these were real witches and
apparently she'd burn some she'd burn
some weird stuff and whatever this
creature was it came out
under the culvert
and I myself
I got sick I got cold
I never get cold. I'm a big guy. I don't get cold. I got cold to chills to the bone. I had to go into my, uh, my fiance's car and just, oh, wait there. One of the, uh, one of our crew members runs over. And, uh, I guess he's, he's like a void or something. They say that he's like a void or something for these things. Like he, they don't, supernatural doesn't touch him. Whatever. He comes over and he's like, yeah, uh, he's like a void or something. Uh, he, he, he, they don't, supernatural doesn't touch him. He comes over and he's like, yeah, uh, uh, uh,
You got to get him.
You got to get Ricky out of here.
There's something wrong.
There's something in the culvert.
It's a, it's got long, spindly arms and legs, long claws.
They were at first, they thought it was like spear finger or something.
And, yeah, had to rush me out of there.
And the second we got out of that area, we got on I-40 going back to Knoxville,
eat it back up, started getting hungry again.
I was like, all right, when are we going to stop, get some, get something to eat?
I said and I also said I'm never going to that property ever again yeah but uh they say that it has
it's not spear finger but it's called the shadow of Kodak and it's it's in like a little triangle
a little triangulated area and uh they say it's like Cherokee or something and it it's guarding
something so I'm saying man east Tennessee there's just so much mystery what are you going to say
garden treasure that's what I'm thinking
I mean, does somebody say treasure?
Like, let's go.
I mean, I, uh, Jack, how long was it?
It was like two, three years ago when we went up to Kentucky on that treasure hunt?
Yeah, two years.
Two years ago, uh, I went up to Kentucky and spent my entire afternoon at a base of a tree that was, the detector was reading gold.
And, um, I, and Glenn just needed, uh, able bodies.
and my body's not so able,
but when you say gold, it's very able.
I'm like, all right, sounds good, let's go.
You got the fever.
Yeah.
And I spent the afternoon digging
at the space of the tree,
and it seemed like every half a foot that came up,
the signal got weaker and weaker.
And I was just like,
I'm going to keep going,
and I'm digging and digging.
And the ground's hard.
And I spent the entire,
I mean, it was hours, wasn't it?
I mean, it was...
Yeah, many hours.
Many hours.
And no gold.
I don't know what happened there.
It was reading gold.
And then it just got weaker and weaker.
What if it was somebody's like gold tooth that like had fallen on the ground and a tree just grew up around it?
I mean, it probably wouldn't register, but...
Yeah.
Now it'd have been crazy.
I'll take any goal at this point.
That was a painstaking day.
But, yeah, I mean, you know,
the stuff we dug up, we were searching, and it was just absolutely nothing.
And it was just like, man, what a bummer.
But if anybody knows where I can find a good gold pile somewhere, I will come and dig it up.
I'll come and dig it up for you.
We'll go havesys.
I definitely, I definitely, I enjoy it.
And that's something that Ben talks about, too, running around the woods looking for old artifacts and stuff.
and so maybe that's the thing that me and my family will start doing we're not we're we might not
hunt monsters so much anymore but we we might be hunting treasure out in the middle of the woods which is
just as cool and uh there's a place you should go to not with your kids go to go by yourself first
it's a all like greenback castle okay i've been there it's i've been there with my kids
oh you were there with the kids oh yeah like the old you saw the old man and everything no he didn't
come out that day. Okay. It's a very weird
place. Yes, it is. Very weird vibes.
I honestly thought I was going to see like a like a big foot or a dog man just like
walk out of the shadows at any point. It's like like welcome.
So the story behind the greenback castle is this guy, the weird guy, I guess,
he built it himself, seemingly his entire life, but out of random pieces of whatever.
You've been there? I've been there too. Yeah, it's just like, you know, you have a wall of
mason jars.
It's just like, okay.
But we went in the woods in the back, and we get to a point on the trail where it says
something like wild boar are active in this area right now, turn around now or something
like that.
It's like, all right, kids, let's go back.
Let's go back.
I don't need to run into a wild boar with a nine millimeter on me.
That's not going to do a whole lot.
So what messed me up about that place is that he's got like a weird.
He's got a weird like off shed next to it.
And I don't know what it is about like sheds and old and old dudes.
I'm like, that just, that just raised red flags.
I was there with a buddy in mine.
I don't want to say his name.
Daniel.
Let's call him Daniel.
To get his American name.
Yeah.
He's definitely American.
I mean, yeah, he's American.
If you're watching this, you are American.
By the way, anyway, he's a.
over here, I'm over here talking to the old dude and, uh, the old dude was there with a younger
man.
And he went up to the front, he went back to the front.
So I guess to leave the entire time I'm thinking, oh, man, they're going to slash our tires.
We're going to die.
Um, my organs.
I'm like, dude, my, they're going to take our organs.
Yeah.
Daniel's over here.
I've lost track of Daniel.
This is when I found out that apparently Daniel's a, uh, a ninja.
And he's just, he's just in the shadows everywhere.
He's like, he was ready.
He was like, yeah.
dude out. I'm like, dude, where were you? He was like,
it was in the shadows. I was ready
to come out and defend you.
I was like, dude, I'm trying to keep track
of you trying to defend us.
Like, no, no, no.
I've got you.
If I was out there with you as a friend, man, I wouldn't
be worried at one bit. I'd be like tucked underneath
your arms. Like, I would be like, hold me.
Now, the Greenback Castle,
man, like, it's a weird spot.
I do remember having like weird vibes
there telling the kids to stick close.
I don't remember all
this stuff, but it was just, it's weird.
It is weird.
And it wasn't what you expect.
The first time you go, you hear about the Greenback Castle,
and you go, and you're like, oh.
This is, oh.
This is down, like, in an old, weird neighborhood,
and you drive by some houses, and all of a sudden,
you have this thing.
And apparently, there's a donation box that you can leave donations.
And it's just to help the guy with mental illness
as he's building this crazy thing.
Yeah.
Like,
are we,
are we encouraging this by donating?
Oh,
no,
I talked to him and seems like a nice guy.
Mm-hmm.
But he's told,
he's,
I don't want to say that he's got a few screws loose,
but he's not the sharpest tool in the shed.
And,
uh,
yeah,
no,
I remember just going there and he's talking to me about,
uh,
X,
Y,
and Z,
how he finds treasures out in the,
out in the woods,
like old arrowheads,
uh,
cannonballs,
uh,
that he's building this,
uh,
castle for the end times and every,
really?
Every brick is supposed to,
it's,
it's for,
uh,
it's out of his devotion for Christ,
this down on the third,
but then he'll go off and talk to me about how he's got a
harem of like 12 women and,
uh,
interesting.
So he is crazy.
Oh yeah.
I mean,
don't want to say it,
but he seems very not there.
It could be fundamental Mormon.
Uh,
or that
yeah
interesting I didn't know any of that
I didn't know any of that
that's yeah I'm not taking my kids back there
yeah no apparently he said that
the that the angel of
death was there
was there on that site
that was there on that site
and that there's a wall where the angel
of death stood and touched the wall
and a whole bunch of other
weird angelic
post-apocalyptic things
that place
I remember after we left
myself and Daniel
we prayed and prayed and prayed
on the car ride back
because we do
like I said I work
for a couple of Renaissance fairs as
a pirate and other things
you know Navy
obviously the next thing to do
is become a pirate
and yeah we're over here
we're looking up we're trying to find places
to you know do photo shoots
and whatnot, a little TikTok videos.
Have some fun.
Next thing you know, we're at this place that was supposed to be a castle
and we're over here having to spiritually cleanse ourselves.
And not only that, I think I'd wash my,
I got undressed in the, in the washroom
and like threw everything I had on me into the washing machine.
Interesting place.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's other kids.
castles that we can go to in Tennessee.
I'm looking up some other castle locations.
Like there's one right over here.
I don't know what it's called it, but it's right over in Alcoa.
It's not even a castle.
It's like a fort that a guy built.
Also, for, you know, the end of the world and God told them to build it.
But it's a lot nicer.
The greenback castle is funny because, like, if it's to protect, what is it protecting?
Like you can access it from like every which way.
He never finished it.
It's all open.
This other castle over here in Alcoa.
Is it the Millennium Manor?
Millennium Manor, yeah.
One of their walls is like 75 tons.
Wow.
Wow.
It's just made out of pure stone.
What is it about East Tennessee and people wanting to build castles, man?
They're like, you know what?
And it's right next to houses.
I'm looking at it on Google Maps.
Oh, yeah.
It's a neighborhood.
And then there's just like this castle.
It's like when you first move, like when I first moved down here, you're driving around.
You're like, oh, it's a nice house.
And then you look like in the neighborhood.
And you're like, they look crazy.
They look crazy.
A nice string of normal houses.
And they look crazy.
Or it's like in my case.
And it's a culture thing for sure because in Pennsylvania, I never ever saw this in such close proximity.
There's on my road, there's normal houses.
There's people that have like a little tiny lot.
and they live in their campers
and not like a camper community.
I'm like, this person has a camper over here
and then you drive a mile down,
there's another camper,
and there's just one guy that lives in a shed.
And he's just lives in his shed.
And that's what he does.
I'm just like, huh, interesting.
It's different.
Yeah.
Oh, no.
My brother, when he first moved out here,
like, what, eight, nine years, 10 years ago now?
He told me, what is it?
The first job he had out here was like he was working for a,
a sister company of the FedEx or something going out just delivering packages out into the mountains
and he's like he would he would walk up on this like destroyed dilapidated dilapidated shed and he's
like he's got like a 55 inch UKD TV and he's like does anybody live here and you'll hear yep
I live here in my name yep my name is Bob well and I'll thank you very much and just all right
All right, keep it moving.
Hey, if that dog nearby, you just booze, you can show them, it's all right.
It's crazy.
Down the road for me, there's a house that burned down a few years before we, like, moved in.
And now it's just like a tent.
And they, like, they never, they've rebuilt some of the walls, but they just live in tents.
Like, year round.
Yeah, year round, they live there.
Wow.
There's like outdoor fires and stuff, and I'm just like.
Really?
Yeah.
Wow.
It's interesting.
Yeah.
Return to the land.
Mm-hmm.
East Tennessee, man.
it's a different place here.
And also, the state of Tennessee is, I don't know how to, I'll have to look into it
on how to actually describe it, but it's split into three different sections.
And each section has its own, like qualities that make it almost like its own state.
And it's like you have the west side beyond Nashville, then you have central,
middle Tennessee, and then you have East Tennessee.
And it's so different.
They have different economies, cultures.
Tennessee is, depending on where you're at in Tennessee,
will determine what kind of culture you have, the way people think, the economy, everything.
It's so unique.
And that's why we have three stars on our flag to signify the three sections of the state.
And so it's something that's different than any other state.
And I love this part of it.
I love my star.
I love being in East Tennessee.
I love the mountains.
I love the culture.
I love the people.
I love the legends and lore and the pizzerias and all that in between.
I absolutely love it here.
And the only way I'm leaving is if God tells me I have to.
One real quick question.
Have you been, are you a Philly Cheesesteak guy?
I'm a real Philly cheese steak guy.
Okay.
I went, I've been, I used to go to Philly every once in a while for boxing back when I was younger.
And I try to, I try to few Philly cheese steak places around here.
And they do everything else great.
But for them to call something a Philly Cheese steak has got to be a Philly cheese steak.
Yeah.
So I'll tell you what, man.
The best Philly cheese steak I've ever had was not in Philly.
It was in Pottstown, Pennsylvania at a place called Ice House.
You order a Philly Cheese steak from there and you'll be set for life.
I wouldn't be surprised.
I'm telling you, man.
It's like a New York, you got a chopped cheese.
It's like the, it's like the ugly, the uglier, grosser version, yes, grosser version of a Philly Cheesesteak.
But, oh, man, is it good.
It is so good.
And what is it?
It's called a chopped cheese.
A chop cheese.
Chop cheese.
Best place you'll ever find it is in Washington Heights, New York City.
And I hate New York City.
I really do.
I love it, but I hate it being from there.
But I will go.
Visit family for like a half a second.
And the rest of the time I'll be there is eating chopped cheese.
And then I'll get on a flight right back.
Oh, man.
I love food.
I love, I like the food here.
But I do miss some of the food from up north.
Chinese food's better up there.
Pizas are better up there.
obviously Philly Cheese Steak is better up there.
I have never even tried a Philly Cheese Steak down here.
I wouldn't do that to myself.
I'm going to try.
Really?
There's a place.
I got the Highland Games next weekend.
And I'm going to be competing a little bit.
And right afterwards, we're going to go to this place called Bigfoot something.
Bigfoot like cheese steaks or something.
And we're up in Townsend.
Okay.
We're going to give it a try.
All right.
Okay.
I'm a big guy, so I eat a lot, so I'm not really picky.
So if it's not your thing, you still have room to get something else, too.
Exactly.
Yeah. Maybe I'll try it one day, but it's just not on my agenda.
All right, listen, we're going to bring this in for a landing.
I appreciate you coming back and hanging out with us and talking about some of the local stuff you've experienced.
I like talking about Tennessee, East Tennessee, Appalachia, the mysterious side of things.
It's just, there's just so much out there.
And maybe we should do that too for a Slinghot Nation Live one day's.
Go over like, like, lure of lost treasure here.
Or even just lost treasure in general.
Like, maybe like you can do different topics, like Civil War lost treasure.
I know a few weeks back, I talked about Kemm and Den, who father, son, treasure hunting team,
that they literally, I think it was like 9,000 pounds.
of gold they found in Pennsylvania and the FBI confiscated. It was like $200 million or $400
million worth of gold and the FBI took it in the middle of the night and then told them there was no
gold there. Yeah. And they were trying to do it right. Like, I mean, they, they were trying to follow
the law when it comes to finding lost treasure and stuff. As a, Kim is a state trooper. And so,
you know, he's going to do things right. And so they were suing the FBI. And there's a whole big deal.
And I think they actually won their first round.
And I just, I actually just messaged Kemp yesterday.
Oh, shoot.
Let's see here.
All right.
So here we go.
I'm live on air.
I messaged Kemp yesterday.
I said, hey, Kim, would you and your dad ever be open to me bringing you guys down to Tennessee
where my studio is for another conversation?
We'd love to revisit your treasure hunting journeys.
He said, we would be open to it.
What's the details?
All expenses paid, five-star hotel with steak and lobster, room service.
with a laughing face,
so he was just playing around with that part.
But of course,
I'm not going to make him
spend his own money coming down.
They didn't have a treasure yet, so.
Yeah.
Yeah, where's your treasure at home, boy?
Cool.
Well, that'll be fun.
Because, dude, I don't know if I could say this.
Let me just, I'll tell you, I'll tell you,
I'll tell them all fair, guys.
But let me just tell you,
they know where Moore's at.
And they're not going for it
until they get everything legally squared away.
Because they don't want it happening it again.
But they know where it was at.
And I think, I think, because this was either towards the end of the conversation years ago when I had with them, Jack, look up the episode that I did with them.
Kemp and Dan, something about gold treasure in Pennsylvania.
And then just make a note of it on the screen, please.
So they know.
And let me know too.
But the, he said, I think it was afterwards.
Or maybe right at the end of the interview, he said, Kim's dad said,
that they know where Moore's at in Pennsylvania.
And it's bigger.
It's a bigger stash than what they found.
And they're just refraining from doing it until they,
and that's as far as I'm going to go with it.
Because I don't know, I don't know if,
because there's more details, but like it's juicy.
And I hope I can get on talking about it.
So anyways, these are things that I enjoy.
Monsters, Supernatural, treasure.
usual little boy stuff that you dream about
when you're growing up
and I'm 40 years old
and I'm still just daydreaming.
So,
teacher told me I would never make a living talking.
Jokes on her.
All right, guys, listen, we appreciate you being here.
Thanks for tuning into another Slingshot Nation Live.
Anybody got any final thoughts before we head out of here?
Yeah, yeah, no, no.
Okay, cool.
All right.
Remember, murkmerch.com for your Mercklead apparel,
hats, hoodies, t-shirts, all right there.
Merkmerch.com.
Oh, did you find the,
the episode, Jack?
I'm still looking for it.
No way.
Literally the last...
K-E-M.
I looked that up.
It's not popping up.
Oh, you're lying to me.
Okay.
Well, guys, just hang tight.
I'm going to find this.
I'll race you, Jack.
Okay.
Oh, this is good.
You got money on Jack or on Tony?
Episode 397,
The Lost Gold of Dents Run.
But it didn't say Kemp there in the description,
so I didn't see that.
Episode 397, the lost gold of dense run.
Was it too late to put money down?
Boom.
So, oh, I'm going to ADHD max right now.
Just side note.
Did you guys see that Animal Farm is now a movie in the theaters?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Angel Studios, which means you know it's not going to go 100% on the story
because it gets dark, but totally going to take my kids to that.
There's some stuff about it, though.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
I would look at it first.
Oh, I thought they were making it like,
kid friendly.
All right.
It's supposed to be, but I would look at it first and, yeah.
All right.
Well, we'll make it a day on the job.
We'll go to watch Animal Farm and brush up on some George Orwell.
But anyways, guys, 397, the lost gold of Dent's run is the first interview I did with
Kemp and Den, father, son, duo.
And that was a wild conversation.
I know anybody who has like a little bit of a love for gold and treasure hunting,
this is that one.
And I have not done a ton of treasure hunting episodes.
These guys are legit.
And it also all came together because Den ran into a psychic who started pinpointing where the gold was for him.
Yeah.
And it was there.
So, yeah, like, it's a wild thing.
Anyways, let's get out of here.
Let's wrap this up.
See you guys.
Bye.
Oh, boy.
Is that slingsh?
Yeah, yeah
Slane shot season
Hey, let's front it
Hey, hey, hey
Hey
Grace hit me like
Boom
Can't miss
Green because the light too bright
Walking the spot like who that
Standing in the slang and a truth slap
Never in the way we moved dad
On my name for the hit like a du wreck
I was stuck in the valley that view bad
Now I'm up in the hills with a food bag
Guy took all my elves ran through that
Now the wind stack high like a new stack
Every step with the light that's a blueprint
Whole pack getting bright cause he doing it
He the king so the quack
Got a new fit and the cross hit harder than a new clip
We ain't here just to buy this a movement
Every giant in the way he'll move it
If the world wanna hate we cool with it
Cause the love is strong with the tree like
Goop
In the dirt now I'm cleaned up
Blood bought brand new, never dreamed up
Every thrown out of stone trying to team up
Got 50,000 standing here feeling beamed up
I remember them nice in the struggle
Feeling way down deep by the trouble
But he showed up strong bro the muzzle
Now the faith built bit like a double
We ain't here for the frame of the flash
We just cap in the well don't run dry
That's that fax
Now we run another pat with a show step
Every loss is a set up for the best yet
Every giant in my face is the test bit
Got swing once
Hey hey like
