The Confessionals - RELOADED | 643: Quest For The Ancient Sundial
Episode Date: September 7, 2026In episode 643: Quest For The Ancient Sundial, Brian Jeffrey, from Black Mass Paranormal, joins us in studio to dive into the mysterious and often eerie realm of the paranormal across East Tennessee.... He explores unsettling missing person cases like that of Summer Wells and discusses bizarre phenomena such as potential portals and supernatural activities. Brian takes us through personal encounters with inexplicable sounds and sightings in mystifying locales like Black Mountain and Frozen Head. He shares chilling accounts of a shadowy figure, a witch-like presence, and ghostly translucent entities, reflecting on the challenges of documenting such elusive phenomena with antiquated equipment. Brian also ventures into speculative territory with mentions of possible government cover-ups and portals to other dimensions. Tony then shares his future plans to return to a site he'd visited 4 years prior, with new information on what could possibly be reptilian entities occupying the area.Black Mass Paranormal: https://www.youtube.com/@blackmassparanormalSasquatch and the Missing ManWatch the Live Premiere on REPLAY here: https://www.moment.co/sasquatchTeaser Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3b4tTY9bssThe Confessionals Members App:Apple Store: https://apple.co/3UxhPrhGoogle Play: https://bit.ly/43mk8kZBecome a member for AD FREE listening and EXTRA shows: theconfessionalspodcast.com/joinWatch The Shape of Shadows: merkelfilms.comWatch Expedition Dogman: merkelfilms.comAFFILIATESPrepare with Valley Food Storage: https://alnk.to/2uG55AOGet your Nephilim Blaster 2000: https://alnk.to/9mnHak1Bluecosmo Satellite phones: https://alnk.to/e769EipSee Bigfoot with Sionyx night vision: https://alnk.to/bEhxr3FEmergency medical with My Medic: https://alnk.to/dpr6QM4Black Beard Fire Starters: https://alnk.to/4BFcIbeEcoFlow Power Generators: https://alnk.to/flvpAQwGoDark Faraday Bags: https://alnk.to/5jke3rkEMP Shield: empshield.com Coupon Code: "tony" for $50 off every item you purchase!SPONSORSSIMPLISAFE TODAY: simplisafe.com/confessionalsCONNECT WITH USWebsite: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: contact@theconfessionalspodcast.comSubscribe to the Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/the-newsletterMAILING ADDRESS:Merkel Media257 N. I guess it's time
to go back in time
Are you telling me you built a time machine
Kind of a Dolorean
Time
is but a stubborn
illusion
I have a lot of memories
Of the past
People are time traveling
Within themselves
Time travel
Is possible
This was all circulating around the
face that a giant had to kill, but no one was supposed to talk about it.
I saw three long, bony fingers, reach up underneath the door, curl up to grab it, and then
disappear.
When he came over to me, dude, he slithered over to me.
And he starts running and firing at this giant.
With a giant move, he's got a spear.
It spears somebody else.
Shoot him in the face.
Shoot him in the face.
They basically think out.
potato.
Got closer, got closer, got closer, when he got about 15 yards away from me, I raised that
12 days and I blow this head off.
I feel something pulling at my leg and I look over and there are two small gray entities
pulling it.
And they're literally, I'm getting pulled off the bed.
I reached my hand into this bush and I couldn't breathe and I couldn't move because I know
I'm seeing a monster.
Okay!
are reloaded.

infamous Bigfoot encounter.
We had some bonkered things happened that week, including a missing person case.
It turned into a 411 case real quick.
If you want to watch the world premiere of that documentary,
on May 5th at 8 p.m. Easter standard time.

All right, friends, thanks for being here.
Today we have Brian here in studio.
Brian, what is going on, man?
That a whole lot, man.
How are you doing?
Dude, man, we were sitting here talking for like an hour.
or we got to pretend we weren't talking here the whole time.
Just to let people know if you're listening right now, if you want to hear,
I think it was like about 30 minutes of a conversation we had beforehand.
It was totally off topic, but I thought it was a good conversation.
And Jack, I was sitting here talking with you.
We're just talking and chilling.
All of a sudden, I see the camera lights flashing back and forth.
And Jack is, I'm like, oh, Jack's recording.
Now I feel like I have to perform.
And so we're going to put that up for the members,
call it an overtime.
But it was like a pre-overtime because it happened before this.
But anyways, it was a good conversation.
We talked about dystopia, things that we're going to do to prepare for the end of the world and everything in between.
And also dealing with public pressure.
Yeah.
You know, you get a little scene behind the curtains there because, you know, I don't know.
I don't know if people, I just don't know how people perceive certain things.
But it was nice to have a conversation with you about it because it's like, you know, we can kind of understand the stresses.
You know, we're not Bill.
Like, we're not Joe Rogan.
We don't have, you know, millions of fans that, you know, are, but with the millions of fans,
he has everybody doing things for him and he can just, like, not care at all about anything
other than doing what he wants to do.
And so, like, we have to micromanage and we see things and we're like, it affects you,
you know, on an emotional level, on a psychological level.
And it was good to kind of just talk with you about that.
But I wanted to have you in here because, you know, it's been too long.
That's essentially what it is.
For sure.
I mean, you were here once before for the show.
Since then, I think you and I have done YouTube videos several times and all that.
But actually, you will be in a documentary that we're coming out with in 2025.
You joined up with us on one of the nights where we were hunting things.
Maybe we'll get into that a little bit.
I don't know.
But anyways, you've been in my life, but you haven't been on the podcast more than once.
And I was like, bro, I think I said to you in the text, I said,
when are you going to come into the studio and give me another heater?
Yeah. I'm just like right up the road.
Yeah, dude. It's what, 20 minutes from here?
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, like, it should be here every other week, you know?
I should.
Yeah. I mean, I'm pulling my friend Joel from Cincinnati, Ohio, down here four hours,
four hour drive and he's here like, it seems like every other month.
And you're like 20 minutes away. You're like, yeah, I'll get there when I'll get there.
You know?
I could ride my bike here.
Yeah, you really could. You really could.
But we were talking in the overtime that people are going to hear.
At the very end, you brought up a missing person case.
You had mentioned to me that you started getting into missing people cases.
And I was like, stop.
I want this on the public side of things.
Let's just pick it up there and we'll see where this goes.
Well, you know, where I was going with that, you know, I think that it's something that all of this
fits together somehow with this missing person case with these missing person cases along with
the big foot sightings dog man sightings all of this stuff somehow even though it seems so far
away from each other um they they all fit together somehow and i've been i was very hesitant to kind
to go back and forth i was i was very hesitant and going back and forth on whether or
not I should get involved in this one case. In East Tennessee, it's the Summer Wells case,
which is because you've got a, you have the politics side of it, but you also have the
paranormal side of it. And I decided one day that I was going to go over there, go to
Warriors Path, where the last location, where she was seen, well, she was recorded.
supposedly there and just kind of experience
Warriors path, kind of get the feeling of the place.
And for one,
do Warriors path is a weird location.
Why?
It just has that energy.
It's got that weird,
you're uncomfortable kind of,
you feel like you're being watched.
You don't know what's watching you.
And I actually captured something on thermal there
that I don't understand.
And, you know, I started, once I got done at Warrior's Path, what I had captured at that time seemed like a Bigfoot.
I was getting all the typical signs, the knockings, the, when I experienced Bigfoot in East Tennessee, what I typically, my first indicator is this knocking.
that I hear and that kind of gets my attention.
And then often I'll hear this kind of pacing or kind of running back and forth.
I had all kinds of audio trouble.
And I was wearing a mic.
It wasn't just like I didn't have anything.
But I was having that whole episode, my audio is crazy.
And I don't really understand why.
Then once I leave.
leave Warriors Path because they, the parents of Summer Wells said that she was,
she walked out of the house and that's when she disappeared.
So the working theory was that somebody had came off of the one lane road and
traveled up the side of this embankment, grabbed her without anybody known.
Right. Now, mind you, there is no cell phone service in 2024 at this location.
Are you serious?
Yeah. My cell phone was completely dead the whole time.
So I, you know, I'm in the woods a lot. I'm in the mountains a lot.
I'm used to hiking an elevated climb.
And they said that she disappeared and she disappeared in June.
And I just kind of sat there and I looked at it and I was like,
there is no way that a person could have climbed up the side of this embankment,
grabbed a little girl, took her back down the embankment without making any noise.
So something was happening here.
And there's no cell phone service.
So it's not like say that there was a person involved up on top of the hill.
They couldn't have used a cell phone, at least with AT&T, but AT&T gets pretty good service.
No, I'm not trying to plug them or anything, but they're not a sponsor yet.
But, you know, there was no service.
So there would have to have been some sort of arrangement to know, you know, where she would be, you know, without alerting the other kids, you know, because the grandmother was supposed to have been there.
the mother was supposed to have been out front.
The whole situation is just, and still to this day, I'm really confused, you know, more than anything,
but I wanted to at least make a video talking about the story of it, you know, because I think
it's important, you know, whether or not she was involved in like a human trafficking type
situation or, you know, she wandered off into the woods.
You know, one of her, she still hasn't been found, you know, so people.
people, in my opinion, need to know what she looks like and know her story.
And then with my platform, I think I kind of have an obligation to do that.
You know, being, I was, and I was trying to be as impartial as I could because I know
the Wells family has received a ton of hate, you know, but at this point, why would they
receive a bunch of hate?
Well, they went on Dr. Phil, even.
And they at first, Don passed the polygraph, but the mother was not able to pass the polygraph.
So they think something happened to the kid because of the family.
Well, you know, they also did that like, I mean, imagine, imagine you.
I mean, you're a parent.
You know, even if you had nothing to do with it, do you think you could go into a polygraph?
pass it. I don't, I've never taken a polygraph. I mean, do you, I mean, do you think that you
could make rational, like, you couldn't? You couldn't. Your, your mind would not be on the,
on the topic, you know, you, I would imagine it would take if, if my, if my daughter or my son
was missing, I, I can't even imagine, like, they would have to ask me the questions like five or
six times, because I, I couldn't, there's no way. So, you know, I tried to,
to be impartial about that situation.
And then I did reach out to the family and nobody knows this.
But I told them, you know, what I do.
I mean, you know my experience in the mountains.
I'm very good in the mountains.
I'm from East Tennessee, you know, and I offered to go look, you know, on their
property and locations possibly, you know, they may have thought, you know, to look, you know,
to overlook or didn't know that.
could possibly be there.
And I didn't get the response that I thought I was going to get it.
You know, they were very polite, you know.
They said, well, you know, thank you.
We'll keep you in mind.
But.
And I didn't know how to take that, you know.
And it was very, I don't, I mean, I would imagine if, I don't know,
if I had anybody reaching out to me saying, hey, you know,
I've got these set of skills, you know.
Can I help?
I'd be like, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What do I care?
Yeah, come today.
Today.
You're volunteering?
It's not going to cost me money anymore?
Cool.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because, I mean, we had the missing person case in Washington that we came across.
And when I talked to, I went on West's show and talked about it like a week after we came back from the trip.
Yeah.
And when he put that out, West has a massive audience.
Right.
And it turns out somebody who knew John Guffy.
listened to that podcast, sent that podcast to John Guffey's ex-fiancee, who then reached out,
and I'm on the phone with her like a week later. And she told me on the phone, she's like,
I don't care, because I told her what we were doing out there. Yeah. And I told her the history of the
area with Wes's experience. And she goes, I don't care if it was somebody, a person or Bigfoot. I just
want to know what happened to John. Right. And that's his ex-fiancee. And she's like, I don't care what.
I just want to know what happened.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And they, and to keep his name, his likeness out there, you know, for people to recognize, you know.
And I've seen this happen in a couple, in several cases, the Michael Herron case, you know, up there in Abrams Creek.
Yeah.
And it's weird how things kind of playing off, you know, when.
when this stuff is happening.
And, you know, I think that a lot of it...
What do you mean playing off?
Like, as far as attention goes?
Right.
Okay.
You know, you've got like the first couple weeks, people are interested.
Everybody's talking about it.
Everybody's talking about it.
But then it just kind of...
Life is out, you know?
And people are just...
They somehow are able to accept that...
The world just opens up and swallows you sometimes.
Mm-hmm.
You know, that's a scary reality to think.
about, you know.
Essentially, that's the great way to describe it because there is no answers with him.
It's just, mm-hmm.
Yeah.
He's gone.
Like, he was here.
The neighbor saw him driving down the road.
They waved.
He didn't seem like he was panicked.
He left his keys, his gun, his phone in the truck, got on a four-wheeler driving down
the road.
Hey, neighbor, that's the last person who's ever saw him.
They find the four-wheeler in Bush.
Yeah, empty tank.
Key in the on position?
Key in the on position.
No, the tank was still full.
It was in high gear.
Like, so just, yeah, swallowed him up.
Like, he was cruising down the road and then just was no longer on the four-wheeler.
You know, there was no sign of a struggle.
There was no blood on the four-wheeler.
There was no, they might have found like one piece of clothing or something that they weren't sure was even connected to him.
But yeah, and then I go to these locations, and it's really kind of interesting.
And my son actually said something to me the other day.
He had just gone on this ROTC trip, and he came back, the place that he went to was supposedly haunted.
And, you know, he comes with me to a lot of locate, you know, to different locations.
And he's a very technical person.
Like the whole, even the paranormal thing, he's really, he's highly, highly intelligent.
So the whole paranormal thing to him right now is still kind of like.
My dad's a hillbilly.
Yeah.
But then it was really cool because he got to go to a location that everybody said was haunted.
And he came back.
He was like, that everybody said this place was haunted, but it's not like the locations that you take me to.
And I was like, you got it.
You got it.
You know.
We've had a breakthrough.
Yeah.
Like there's just a totally different, like, feeling.
And, you know, there's places in the smoky mountains that, you know, you go to and it's totally comfortable and it's just relaxed.
And then there's other places that you go.
to where you feel like something's about to go down and you don't know what it is, you know.
And another location that I've been really studying is Frozenhead, which is going to be all
over the place, I would imagine here pretty soon.
Dude, before we go into Frozen Head, I feel like we moved off that missing person case in,
what was it, Warriors Path?
Yeah.
So where are you at with that whole thing?
Their response to you, is that pretty much as far as you've gotten with it?
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
But I'm going to go back.
Is Warriors Path near Newport?
It's near Kingsport.
Kingsport.
Yeah.
I know Spectrum is in Kingsport because I was dealing with Spectrum today.
So Kingsport has a very bad drug epidemic happening right now.
Newport does too, right?
Newport does as well.
You know, human trafficking is really bad.
Um, so there, I feel like the, most of this investigation has been driven towards that side of it.
Yeah.
You know, and rightfully so, you know, and, uh, because when summer first disappeared, you know,
they had basically the whole town out, like, looking for this little girl, you know, and the
only evidence that they had was a, uh, red Tacoma pickup truck that they said.
So I went and drove, you know, down the road, you know, and like it just didn't make sense.
No, I didn't.
Good, good, good call.
I didn't.
Although I probably should have because I would have fit in a little bit better.
About the Subaru?
Yeah, but the Subaru.
Better on gas.
It's so much better on gas.
I mean, I love my truck, but man, it's killing me on gas.
But I got to take it to some locations.
So I try to balance it out.
But anyway, and the road, I mean, it's basically like a neighborhood road, essentially.
You know, you kind of turn off this one really long stretch of a back,
east Tennessee back road onto another road that there's, I think probably three or four houses that are back there that lead to,
basically one house, you know.
It's not a cul-de-sac, but, and there's random dogs everywhere, you know.
East Tennessee.
Goats, chickens, you know, you're trying to avoid.
So there's no, like, the way that it was, it was the way that it was described in media
was that it was a very fast abduction.
And from me going out there and looking at it,
I don't think that it could have been fast because one,
just the roads to get to the location,
you know,
is very long,
there's not a whole lot around,
you know,
there's no cell phone service.
Getting up that hill,
like they basically have this house on,
like on an impassable hill.
Like if if shit hits the fan, I would love to have their house.
The house where the girl went missing.
Yeah.
So what you're describing sounds like something that is illogical to target if you're doing human trafficking.
Yeah.
It's like why make it more difficult?
Yeah.
Is that what you're thinking?
Yeah.
And it was just, there's so much other stuff that I feel like has been overlooked.
Yeah.
And it just doesn't seem logical to me.
that if you were going to, I'll go through all of this trouble for, I mean, nothing against summer,
but just one little girl.
Yeah.
You know, and you could snatch somebody from Walgreens.
Yeah, exactly.
Exactly.
And it's, you got to think, like, once the abduction happens, you have to have the escape route.
Yeah.
And what you're describing, I'm picturing roads that probably aren't the kind of roads you're going to go flying down.
And it's like you're going to notice that.
one vehicle going.
Let's put it this way.
So I grew up in East Tennessee.
East Tennessee is known for moonshine.
Mm-hmm.
I would never make a moonshine delivery in this location.
Why?
Because there's no way out.
Ah, okay.
Like, a criminal would be like, you'd see that location, be like, no.
Yeah.
No.
Like, well, we'll just leave it here.
No.
You'll trap me.
Mm-hmm.
You know.
Yeah.
Interesting.
Yeah.
So you and I talk about this stuff a lot.
When we talked about it with Michael's case, the idea of portals.
And, you know, we could go down the route of with Michael's case.
I mean, and we can go with any of these cases.
It's East Tennessee.
It's all East Tennessee.
So it's crazy.
But we could talk about, you know, was it Bigfoot?
Was it dog man?
Barrow people.
Portal.
Like there's a lot of things that happen here.
that aren't,
I don't know if, I don't think,
I think I can safely say somebody
who comes from the Philadelphia area to here,
I don't think that the things that happen here
happen just anywhere.
Right.
There's,
I say this about certain locations here,
but in general,
East Tennessee,
it's a very ancient location,
and it's magical.
I don't know how I was to describe it.
It is.
It's magical.
It is.
And there's things here that,
Defy logic, understanding.
You as a local don't have a grasp on the understanding.
I don't.
We have ideas, but it's like there's just something going on that we just can't quite touch.
And so with these missing people cases, it makes me wonder what percentage of the missing people cases have to do with what we do.
And, you know, I'm sure by now Jack has flashed on the screen, but just so I cover my bases,
you host the YouTube channel
Black Masked Paranormal.
Oh yeah.
You say what I do for it?
It's like, well, what do you do?
And I know you were talking about rebranding and stuff.
So the name might change, but the face will be the same.
But with what we do and the way we look at things,
I think that there is real room for investigations
in Mississippi cases in this area
and areas that might be like this area.
for lenses that bring this kind of perspective.
Right.
It's not going to be taken serious.
No.
Oh, no.
And even the victims, the families of the victims,
probably wouldn't take it serious.
So there's this definite back door that needs to be taking place.
Like you went to the family and the way they responded, fine.
But maybe there's still room to continue the investigation without permissions,
doing it legally, but doing it anyways.
with your own methodology that allows for the possibility of discovering where these people have gone
because we look at things differently than what the police would look at it as.
Yeah.
But it also puts me in a position at risk, you know.
100%.
Because part of the agreement was that I would do it with no cameras, no, you know, just me.
Who?
With agreement with who?
The family.
That's what I told them.
Oh, I got you told them that you would do it no cameras.
and that's when they said, I got you, okay.
Yeah.
So if you did no cameras, one, there'd be no documentation,
so it's not even YouTube friendly.
No.
But if you're in to solve the case, there's still the problem of,
if you're straight up going alone like that,
I mean, anything could happen.
Oh, absolutely.
That's nervous.
And that's happened to me before.
What has?
You went through a portal?
Things just went wrong.
No.
in Abrams Creek.
I was several miles out in the woods and I lost power to everything.
I remember you told me that.
Yeah.
It was weird.
You know, I would imagine most people like, oh, that's not a big deal.
But, you know, for some people, that would be a very big problem, especially, you know, being out in the mountains, it would cause complete panic.
You know, all of a sudden your flashlights don't work.
You're nothing works.
you know, we become so reliant on technology.
You know, you've been staring at this GPS
walking through the mountains this whole time
and then all of a sudden your GPS is no longer there.
Dude.
You know, it's very...
I know.
I'm such a handicap person with some of this stuff
because, like, I need to get better at
my own navigation apart from technology.
This way that way.
And instead of doing that,
I went to the easier route.
And I was like, I was looking at Apple Watches.
I got this Apple Watch.
And I got the, I think it's called the ultra, which I push this button and it automatically
starts tracking my footsteps.
So I can just backtrack if I need to, right?
But what if I'm in a situation like you where everything just dies and my watch is, I'm like,
well, follow the sun, I guess.
I don't know.
Well, I mean, I've got my military experience.
And, you know, I carry a compass.
And I'm pretty decent at tracking.
So even if when a situation like that happens, and when it happened to me, you know, that first initial jolt, like, oh, wait, am I lost?
But, you know, I knew that I could get myself at it.
Then I was able to kind of calm myself down.
Yeah.
You know, but it can happen, man.
And it, no matter what kind of equipment you have, no matter how experienced you are, you know, and just like that, things can go wrong.
Yeah.
You know.
I wonder, and this probably, some people might say that this is irresponsible to even talk about,
but I don't care.
Seven years into this, I get irresponsible sometimes.
I would like, I want to ask you, on those two missing people cases, going from the perspective
that you go from, and me, obviously, with everything we do, what do you think the percentage
odds are that something other than what you what traditionally would be thought to
have human trafficking somebody just picked her up took her she fell down a ravine to
you know she walked into a portal and didn't come out you know like like I imagine the
percentage of that happening is probably lower than the other but in your gut like what
do you think I mean do you think that there is a higher likelihood of that happening
then people would want to give it credit for?
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
People don't understand, like, how real these things are.
You know, we like to kind of, you know, close their eyes and just imagine, you know,
something, another bad thing happened, you know, that's explainable.
But, you know, what...
We can't explain it, but we know it's explainable.
Right.
Right.
Well, it's a part of, you know, us being on, you know,
this planet, you know, that we just don't understand yet is what it comes down to.
We just truly, as much as we like to think that we can Google anything, there's so much
that we just flat out don't understand because, you know, even the scientific theory is
about reproducing your results.
What if you can't reproduce it?
Does that mean that it doesn't exist?
Yeah.
You know?
Yeah.
And in East Tennessee, I have found these locations, in my opinion, because I swear I would take a polygraph test.
I would put my hand on a stack of bibles saying that one day this almost happened to me.
And it was one of the weirdest experiences of my life.
And it happened so quick.
And it was just like, and that was in Black Mountain.
which is another location that I've talked to you,
tried to get you to come out on with me.
It's not a matter of try.
It's a matter of time.
We'll get there.
Yeah.
Like,
um,
and it,
you know,
it was,
I was out just looking around and the odd thing was,
is moments before this happened,
um,
I recorded what sounded like eight sounds,
like ape like sounds like this weird.
I don't know how to explain it.
Um,
and then,
I walk by this rock that
and I feel like I'm getting sucked into it.
Really?
Like, I mean, my ears,
my ears started ringing.
Like, I almost fall like it.
And I stumble.
And as I'm stumbling, I push myself away from it.
But, dude, it was,
it was such a weird experience.
Dude, like, so you,
I heard the ape sounds in East Tennessee.
and I heard him
the first time I heard him was last November
in one of my magical
spots that I just, it's magical.
I don't know how I was to say it. You know where I'm talking.
But also when you and I were out,
we were doing the
high boy videos.
Yeah. Where we were riding around
the mountains at midnight on electric bikes
with 20 degree weather. It was freezing.
And the only reason why Jack wasn't there is because we
have a third bike.
Yeah.
And we brought the mountain bike and it was broken.
And we came back and like, Jack, you wouldn't have been able to keep up anyways.
No.
No.
Those things flew, man.
Yeah.
Like, we have these.
Anyways.
So we were out there and we had just got out of, I think, the first church and we heard
the noises across the road and they got closer.
And dude, like, I don't remember if it's on the video.
People that are listening right now, I have a YouTube playlist called Twilight Trek
with Tony where I go on these little ventures that we put on YouTube.
but they're not documentaries.
And this was on there.
I don't remember what I called it.
I think it's probably the most recent one.
But I don't remember what was caught on audio per se,
but I remember seeing me on video doing this.
Like literally, what was across the street was making this sound.
I'm like, what am I hearing?
I'm in East Tennessee.
You're in East Tennessee.
It's just like, I was blowing my mind.
I was like, what is going on?
Yeah, it's wild.
But, you know, at the same time, you know, we don't have any animals around here that would be able to explain those noises.
And that happened at Black Mountain.
Then I had another experience in Frozenhead outside Brushy Mountain State Prison that I recorded that got a lot of attention.
Well, it didn't, it got the attention of networks, but it didn't get a lot.
lot of attention on as far as I'm concerned.
But it was just another just deafening sound that I don't have an explanation for.
Everybody I played it for, which I could send you the sound.
That way you can put it on here.
Please.
So here's the sound.
But, you know, and then here I am now.
really doing a lot of research in Frozenhead.
And I've almost, I'm almost there to making a huge discovery.
I'm so, I'd so want to get back up to this place.
But there, I saw something outside of this thing that not only the terrain to get to it
would be difficult, I saw something else that looked like it was guarding it.
No.
Are you serious?
You didn't tell me that.
I didn't.
No, you said that you needed an extra set of hands to get to the location because of the terrain.
Oh, no.
You didn't tell me you saw.
Are you serious?
Yeah, it's on live stream.
Yeah.
Dude, tell me.
Can we talk about what we're looking for?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Just go ahead.
I'm not going to ruin it.
Okay.
So Frozenhead is the forest that surrounds Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary.
So when they were designing Brushy Mountain, they wanted it to be basically America's Siberia.
So if a prisoner tried to escape, not only did you have to deal with the prison guards and all that goes along with that,
once you got down into the wilderness, you were basically dead, you know, because it's such a barren landscape.
So it was the Cherokee Indian used that area frequently, you know, for hunting.
And there's all kinds of artifacts and such that is in that area.
And one of those artifacts, as the story goes, is a sundial, which is pretty, I don't know.
I don't know if you wanted it.
When you picture ancient American artifacts, you know, you think about like Tom Oaks and, you know, airheads and things like that.
But to me, a sundial is kind of like really fascinating.
It's like a lost bit of treasure.
And I've been out there searching for this thing.
Well, I think I've found it.
It's just it takes some, it's extremely dangerous to not only get out to, but to then get up to.
because it's on a really,
really steep incline of a mountain
just to get to it.
It's at least two miles,
you know,
just of a straight incline.
Then on top of that,
once you reach that location,
you know,
it's like straight up on top of that.
Then when you see it,
you see this,
some sort of structure.
It's really out of place
when you're looking at the mountain top.
And I even try to get on
Google and look at it through Google Earth.
And it's really, it doesn't make any sense on if this is just a pile of rocks,
why this gigantic pile of rocks is there?
Because it looks like there's a wall that's probably 10 feet tall at least and it's just
square.
Well, on top of that, it looks like there's like some kind of monolith, which would be a
sundial. That would make sense if you're seeing a flat surface and then just a single monolith on it.
So I find this thing and I'm down below and I'm like debating on whether or not I should make this climb.
I have some rope with me but really not enough. I'm totally by myself. My wife knows I'm out there and that's about it.
I feel so guilty right now. And I'm staring at it.
this thing and I'm trying to debate on whether or not I can make the climb.
So I decide I'm going to do a live stream and just kind of tell everybody, you know, what I'm doing.
And moments before the live stream, I hear something moving around.
And I'm trying to find it.
I pull out my thermal camera.
I'm looking.
I can't really find this thing.
And then I look back up to where this, where I believe is the sundial is.
and I see this figure, and it's this, I think last time I talked about this black figure that is seen in the paranormal.
It's, we say that it's black, but it's not really black because it's almost like a different shade, you know, that we can really comprehend and understand.
Like deeper than black itself.
Yeah.
And I'm sitting there and I'm staring at this thing.
And at first, I think it might just be like a shadow or a tree.
And then I see it move.
And I'm like, uh-huh.
I know there's Black Panthers out here.
We'll get into that.
That's a whole other story.
I know there's the Koi Wolf, which is now out in Frozen Wolf.
Is it?
I've recorded it.
Yeah, I got it on Trail Can I tell you that?
I think you did send me that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
So we have that here now.
You know, so there's several things that is extremely dangerous that it can be, you know,
and I'm staring at it, and I'm just like, well, you know,
not to mention it could be something more paranormal,
which that's what I'm leaning towards because of the color that I'm looking at.
And the location of the possibility of what you just found.
Yeah.
And my past experience of what I've experienced in that location.
You know,
so it's just kind of like this now to me,
this beacon that I have to go figure out, you know.
So, yeah.
Dude.
Frozen heads.
So amazing.
Yeah.
And ever since I met you, Frozen Head, I think, has been probably one of the top locations you talk about.
I got to get you out the Frozen Head.
Yeah.
And you mentioned about the black figure.
And I'll take that as an opportunity to define something for you.
Your channel, Black Mass, Paranormal, is not you doing Black Masses.
It's literally a Black Mass.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's the Black Mass that I saw.
Yeah.
But I first saw your channel, though, I was like,
Is this guy doing like black magic or something?
Like I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, oh, let's just take, let's just see what happens.
I know if I get sucked into a worm over this witch.
This redneck wig.
Dude, they're here.
They're here.
I know, I know.
I know.
They're in Black Mountain.
Are they?
Yeah.
Really?
Talk to me.
So Black Mountain is, it's an, actually, it's an area that I've been going to since I was in high school.
It's a, it's a, when you say magical place, like it's a magical place.
I've seen people make it rain there.
Now it's gone a lot towards the darker side.
At least what I've gathered in the past several years, a lot of people will go out and they go camp and they come back in their cars covered in blood.
Yeah.
People run around in the woods.
There's a lot of murders that happen there.
There's one particularly famous murder.
Well, I guess it's not really famous, but a guy used a chainsaw and cut up people and hit them all throughout there.
The bodies are still supposed to be out there.
I imagine. Yeah.
Yeah.
So, yeah, that's that dark side of it.
And it's in Black Mountain, crab orchard, Tennessee.
Wow.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The history here, man.
Yeah.
Oh, not to mention the Whits.
bitch. Sorry, my ADD totally kicked in.
I knew we were forgetting something.
Yeah, yeah. So in Black Mountain, there's a tale of a witch that actually lived there
that would take people's dogs and kill them, sacrifice them.
And I actually did an investigation there at the house that is said to be hers.
and I recorded this black figure
like moving in between
like the two other people that I had with me
yeah it was a wild night
and then after that just like
all hell broke loose with the
with the weather like I was
afraid that I was not going to be able to get the guys
that I brought out there out of there
like it was that bad
do you think it has something to do with the history of making a rain there
I don't know
when that guy made it rain there
that one time
it was that was a wild experience.
Like you were present for that?
Yeah.
He did it.
Sorry, he did it like right in front of me.
It was this random guy that just comes out of the woods.
And he is basically, you know, trying to, I don't know.
He said he could make it rain.
I don't know if he was trying to impress us or just trying to be friends with us.
Like, he was nice.
Like, it wasn't anything like I wasn't scared.
and the guy was like, you want to see me make it rain?
And I was like, yeah, I would love to see you make it rain.
And the reason why we went out there is because there's an overlook that you can,
it's the best overlook in Tennessee, I think probably on the East Coast, you know, that you can see.
And it's a totally clear night.
And the dude just does this chant, does this thing, and it just starts downporn.
Really?
Yeah.
Like immediately.
Yeah.
Wow.
Yeah.
You just see the skies just go black and then it rains.
East Tennessee rain, man.
Yeah.
That's wild.
Was he an old man?
Yeah.
He was older.
He was probably in his 60s, I would say.
Yeah.
You think he's gone now?
I don't know.
I don't know what I experienced that night, you know.
Hmm.
That's interesting.
That's really interesting.
Do you think that at the sundial, that figure you saw,
do you think that that's a
you know
so the sundial
being Native American
I think you said that there was somebody
who used to own the property
that helped you narrowed down the location
right?
Well, that's what they
this, what I found
is not in the location
of where they told me.
So what if what you found
isn't the actual sundial sundial
sundial was something else?
It could be.
I mean, I'd see, that would be even better
to be honest with you.
There's more mystery out there then.
Well, I mean, the, the mystery of that sound
that I captured that night outside of Brushy
is like, I know this creature,
I know for a fact that this creature is out there.
I just don't know what it is, you know.
But it's something that can make a sound
that is so loud that I've never heard anything like it.
It sounds like it comes from a complete other dimension.
you know, but this thing's out there.
And then here I am looking for this old Native American.
The coincidence of it is pretty interesting to me.
But, you know, of course, I've got people telling me that it's over here.
You know, I'm getting kind of pushed in all different directions.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
So it's almost kind of like I'm not supposed to find this thing.
And then when I go out on my own and I'm like, well, you know,
I got a good feeling that's going to be in this direction.
because this is the direction of that sound that I had heard.
And then I go to the top, then I find the structure.
And then there's this black thing pacing around.
How much was it moving?
Like, was it just slightly moving?
Well, the problem was it was kind of far away from me.
So when you're looking at things like that, it's fine movements.
You can't really tell.
But it was moving enough that I could tell that it was.
moving.
You know,
it seemed like it was kind of pacing back and forth,
like looking at me.
I'm in the live stream,
and I think I actually say,
um,
if this thing comes down on me,
like there's nothing I can do because to my back is just like a 200 foot drop,
like straight down.
And then there's another probably 200 foot,
you know,
incline up to this thing,
you know,
with fallen trees.
Um,
yeah.
So.
Wow. Do you think that whatever you saw, so like I heard that, I guess, I don't know if this is a common thing, but we had Martin Groves out here, I think it was last year or something when he talked about this. He said that the Bellwitch Cave, that it said that dog man guards the entrance to it because it's a portal to hell. And so do you think that, because I think you used the reference that something was guarding it.
It seemed to be.
If something was guarding it, do you think that that's something,
and it sounds like maybe you don't have a great idea from what you saw,
but do you get the sense that it was physical or more black mass paranormal?
It's more black mass paranormal because I can't, I don't know what it was.
And for me, and it's kind of hard with the culture of paranormal.
normal investigators, you know.
For me, I'm okay with accepting not knowing what it is, you know.
I'm like I can I can wrap my mind around that aspect of it, you know, rather than saying
it's a big foot, it's a dog man.
My experience is, you know, I just kind of try to connect with the, how to explain this.
Well, I mean, you weren't always a cryptid hunter.
You did paranormal research first, and then you went into cryptid hunting.
Not that you didn't believe it, because your brother has a big foot sighting that he refuses to talk to me about.
Bro, if you're listening right now, listen, no judgment.
Come in studio, sit down and talk to me.
And right now, Juan's like, no, talk to me first.
Whatever, I don't care.
Just tell your story to somebody.
It's good therapy.
But your brother had, I guess, a pretty dramatic Bigfoot encounter
to the point that he doesn't want to talk about it.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Absolutely.
Well, he's had multiple encounters.
Really?
Yeah.
Dude, he's a-
He's a fishing guide.
Because he likes to fish, man.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
Just what we do.
He likes the water.
I like to be in the mountains.
You know, Tennessee's good for that because you got both sides.
Both sides.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's just what he does.
What's the same, though?
Knoxville fishing guide.
Yeah.
So you were talking about, like, trying to define and stuff.
I was just trying to let the audience know.
Like, you come from the paranormal investigation side first.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
So, you know, I've experienced, you know, kind of both sides of it, you know.
Yeah.
It's hard for me to pin a label up on it.
Like even with ghosts, you know, I don't know if I fully believe in that.
It's like a ghost in our modern day interpretation of it.
you know, I think it very well could be something else, you know, but I've experienced it,
you know, I've been burned, I've been scratched, you know, I've had these things follow me
home, you know.
That takes your wife off.
Yeah, dude.
Not a happy wife.
No, no.
And that's kind of why I had to back away from a lot of it, you know, because I was going into
locations that were just horrible, you know, and that takes it out on you mentally, you know,
constantly experiencing these stories.
Because on the ghost hunting kind of side of it,
I kind of refer to it as the spiritual side of the paranormal.
You know, when you're going to these locations looking for the ghosts,
you know, they're often associated with some sort of tragic event, you know,
that had happened, whether it be a murder or whether it be an accident,
something happened there.
And you have to basically engulf yourself in that story.
and when you do that over and over and over,
it takes a toll on you.
So I kind of had to step away from that for a lot of it,
for a lot of different kind of reasons.
I mean, I still do it,
and I still find it fascinating.
But now, once I had that one experience at that mutual location that we know,
I've been really kind of inacrypted.
and, you know, I get to be out in the mountains more
and not in some dusty old house, you know.
Yeah.
What do you think is easier as far as hunting?
I imagine, from my perspective, I don't do ghost hunting.
I've done it very sparingly.
We've talked about it.
Like, I don't like, I don't like, traditionally,
I have sometimes accidentally crossed lines that I didn't like.
Yeah.
I have very strict backgrounds.
on that side of stuff for myself.
Yep.
And every once in a while, I get caught up in the moment I do things I regret later.
Um, and so, but traditionally I haven't really touched it a whole lot.
Yeah.
But from my perspective, it seems like doing paranormal investigation might be a little easier
in the sense that you're going to locations that you know are haunted.
Yeah.
And so it's like, it's more confined and,
you know?
Yeah.
It seems like it's more dedication to go out into the mountains
and hope that you're going in the right direction.
Yeah.
I mean,
I go essentially totally blind,
you know,
and I'm just looking for a track.
But,
you know,
I did,
I have to say that I don't think that I would be able to find the evidence
that I'm able to find now
if I didn't do the ghost hunting side of it first.
Because the ghost hunting,
you're just you're looking for minute changes,
minute, you know, in just the energy level itself.
And I had gotten to myself, to the point where,
and it was kind of interesting,
there was another investigator.
He was just like,
I've been able to tell you you,
you're able to kind of pinpoint when an MVP or an EVP is going to happen
and we're going to be able to see a spike.
And, you know, on the EMF detector,
And I could, I could kind of feel those sensations.
So I kind of know when to look.
And in doing that, that tied in real closely to the environments and the mountains to where these scripted things happen, you know.
And it's, I really just kind of rely on my ability to interpret the environment to point me in the right direction, you know.
But the majority of the time, I'm in the wrong direction.
But, you know, I pick up on that, like, here's might be a good location to look.
Yeah.
You know, so.
What would you do if you had been, you're out there doing your thing off and alone?
And, like, you're in an area that has lots of activity.
And all of a sudden, like, the unthinkable happens.
Like, unthinkable is in, like, like, what?
We're out there doing things for a reason.
Yeah.
But I think in our gut, every time we go out there, we've, we, if you made us bet on
chances of things, we're like, yeah, probably nothing's going to happen today.
Right.
But like, what if that perfect storm happens and one day you're out there and all of a sudden
there's this like slit in space right there in front of you and all of a sudden you see
this thing walk through, whatever it is?
Like, do you have any plan of attack at that point?
No.
Just point and shoot with your kids.
As the Joker, as the Joker said, I'm a dog chasing cars, you know.
If I won't know what to do with it once I get a hold of it, you know, yeah, I just hit
live stream and hopefully it makes it to the world.
Yeah, because I probably won't come back.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Exactly.
Oh, bro, man, I think about that stuff sometimes because it's just like when I go out there
and stuff, you go out there on mission, you want, you're in the moment, you're all that.
but in my gut, I'm like,
ain't nothing going to happen.
Right.
You know what I mean?
Like if it was that easy,
like,
you know,
everybody find Bigfoot by now or whatever.
Yeah.
And at the same time,
people have these experiences
because that one time,
it freaking happened to that person.
That one time.
Whether it's a missing person
or a person who had a sighting
who's on the show telling about it,
you know,
it's just like this stuff does happen.
The more you put yourself out there
to experience that chances are going up
and up and up every time you go out there.
Absolutely.
And it's just like, man, what could happen?
I mean, when we were out at the magical location, dude, I don't know if I told you this.
I don't think I did.
We were going out there for, we were shooting the reenactment scene for a Sasquatch and
The Missing Man.
So Wes had his Bigfoot encounter and we wanted to, while he was telling the Bigfoot
encounter, be able to plug in reenactments, right?
So we brought, I brought two bald guys.
with beard. I was like, that works. And we went out to that location. Yeah. Because I'm not totally
familiar with the area to know where I can go and stuff. So I was like, I want to go somewhere I know
legally I'm allowed to go. So we went out there. Yeah. And we actually got bothered by, I don't know.
I forget what they were. But somebody came asking what we were doing and we didn't talk to them,
but it was all good. But I'm sitting in my truck and, you know, there was nothing for. You know,
There was nothing for me to do.
It was cold out.
There was two guys acting in the truck.
Ward was shooting.
Jack and Joel were doing lighting.
I had nothing to do.
So I'm just going to sit in my truck and turn the sea heater on.
Yeah.
And I'm bored.
And they're around the corner.
I can't even see them.
They're up at the trail.
And I'm like, I'm going to call my parents.
I don't know what possessed me to call my parents.
I rarely ever call my parents.
I'm just busy and I don't think about it.
Bad son.
I call my parents and I'm talking about what I'm doing.
doing and stuff.
And I hear something like, hey, hang on, hang on.
And they stop and I'm like, let me just listen.
And I'm listening and I don't hear anything.
And so they start talking again.
I hear it again.
I'm like, all right, hang on a second.
I crack my window and I'm going to just be quiet.
And so they're listening.
And all of a sudden, I hear the predator sound right outside my freaking window, dude.
And I was like, do you guys hear that to my parents in Pennsylvania?
And my mom goes, close your window right now.
I close the window
and you can hear it from the window closed
and I say goodbye to them
and there's a lull in the sound
so I get out of the truck and I walk up to the guys
up the hill and I'm just going to listen
I kind of want to be around the guys right now
and so I can hear it but it's down by my truck
and so
anybody listening right now? No, I didn't record it
didn't even think about recording it.
It didn't cross my mind.
Yeah.
It bothers me.
It bothers me because it was so clear that if I could have got the recording,
I could have then sent it to my friend Justin, who's a biologist, say, dude, identify this.
Tell me it's something explainable.
But I went and I talked to him about this because it sounded identical to the predator.
Yeah.
And I said, dude, this is what it sounds like.
Tell me what it is.
And he starts sending me all these YouTube videos.
I want to properly identify
Justin from cryptives of the corn
and he's sending me
all this stuff and nothing's
matching nothing and he's
searching databases and
what's even crazier and I don't think
I don't think it was this
but bro
honestly
the closest thing that
it got to being was
something that is accrupted in its
own right it should not be in East Tennessee
it's the
shoe billbird.
Oh yeah.
So he said that
He seems tocapitate their
Dude, they're huge.
They're huge.
Just look evil.
He goes, these aren't supposed to be here.
He goes, but there's
like 2,000 known and wild.
They have like two in captivity,
but they believe that there's actually even more
than what's in the wild being sold in the black market.
Yeah.
And he goes,
he goes, is there a lot of water
where you're out?
It's like, yeah, there's a lot.
He's like, it's a perfect habitat
for these things.
He said, and when I say huge
for people listening and watching,
five and a half to six feet tall birds.
Yeah, yeah.
And he goes,
it's a perfect habitat for them.
And he said, honestly,
it's a cryptid in its own right.
And you should be more excited
about finding a shoebill bird
than a big foot right now.
Yeah.
And, and so I was like,
holy crap.
But this video,
it showed this bird making this clucking sound that was similar but much lower.
And he said if it was a juvenile and it was smaller, it might be a higher pitch.
And I was like, holy crap.
So I'm either hunting the predator out there or a shoebill bird, you know?
I don't know.
Either way, man, this thing sounds like an AK-47 when they start going to chatter.
It's like, like, blah-v-do it.
It's just crazy.
Well, that's another thing that has kind of funny you bring up the predator,
because that's another thing that I experience.
And I'm very hesitant to talk about this.
I don't really like, in my videos,
I don't really like to talk about it because it's kind of one of those things
that would be like, okay, dude, you're hearing stuff
and you're talking about seeing these kind of visions.
But it only happens at these locations,
these very specific location.
And the best way I can describe it is like cellophane.
If you were to take a piece of cellophane,
put it as trees and move it across,
like that distortion that happens,
you know,
I see that a lot of times at these locations.
Yeah, yeah.
It's very difficult to get on camera.
I often, when it does happen,
I often have camera malfunctions
or it just doesn't translate well
into the camera from the way that I see it.
But yeah,
I've experienced that,
kind of weird, like in The Predator, you know, when you go invisible, that weird kind of look to it on multiple occasions.
When you see it, does it look like your perception would it be, all right, because what you're saying to me, how do I say this?
What you're saying to me is, it sounds like it could be a portal or is it's more like it's often moving.
It's moving.
Wow.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Wow.
Yep.
Which makes it even scarier.
Heck yeah, bro.
Moving.
Or is it going to rip your spine out?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'll take the portal.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But, you know, I have no way of rationally measuring this.
Yeah.
You know, so it's very, I can't get it to translate through the camera.
So it's really hard for me to even kind of talk about.
In my videos, I'll often.
instead of saying, I've just seen this happen,
and you all, you know, and try to get caught up on that aspect of it,
I usually just kind of kind of try to point people,
okay, something's happening here, you know.
But you don't tell them what?
Yeah, I don't, I don't usually tell them.
Oh, you got to tell them what, man.
Yeah, you got to tell them.
Because I'd be like, yo, guess what I'm seeing right now, suckers.
You know, it sounds like you're hallucinating.
We don't believe you.
I don't care.
You never believe me anyways.
Yeah, I know.
Yeah.
bro, that's crazy, man.
So there's a lady she had passed away recently in the last year or two.
Her name was Claudia Ackley.
And I never had her on the show.
We talked about it quite a few times, but it just never happened.
And I think her real claim to fame would be that she was suing, I think, the state of California for covering up Bigfoot in California.
Really?
Yeah, I'm sure you could Google it and look it up or something.
within her, duck, duck, go it.
We don't Google in this house.
So, unless it's YouTube, we go on YouTube,
we upload it there.
Okay, I lie, we Google.
So, but she,
when she, as far as I understand how the story goes,
I never had a chance to really talk to her on the show,
unfortunately, didn't document it.
But I think I talked to her about it off air years ago.
I think this was before I was even a podcaster.
From what I understand,
she went out with a lady,
and the name of the channel was called,
Barb and Gabby, I think it was called,
and Gabby was the dog.
And I think this lady's channel,
they went out hiking and stuff,
not just her in a dog,
but groups of people and stuff.
And Claudia went,
and I think Claudia was new
to the Bigfoot thing at that time.
Yeah.
And I don't know,
I think it was West Coast.
I don't know where.
But they have their cameras running,
and this is a long time,
maybe 2013,
2014, a long time ago.
And Claudia sees...
what I think she described is like a black, hairy creature, small.
We may call it a juvenile.
It was small coming down out of a tree.
And she's like, I just saw this and it looked like a monkey.
There's something like that.
And they were actually shooting camera in that direction.
And so you also see at one of these videos them hiking back talking about it.
And somebody said, well, we were shooting in that direction.
We'll see if we caught it on camera.
and when you review
and they show you
what they caught on camera
there's definitely something
there but it's not black
and it's not hairy
it's translucent
you see something
on camera
coming down out of the tree
and you see this moving
but it's see-through
and it has that
what you described
and what the predator
would be described as
on video for these movies
that's what you're seeing
but in person
Claudia saw something
black and hairy
and it's like
so now
we're talking about two separate anomalies that are both crazy in their own right.
Yep.
And how in person you are actually perceiving and seeing something that is not
translating to camera properly.
Yep.
So is that, what is that?
Is it literally affecting the camera or does it actually contain an element of itself
that cameras can't capture?
And it's like, it's mind blowing to me.
That whole case.
it drives me up the wall
but I say that to
roll back into
I think I mentioned earlier
the documentary that you're in
that will come out in 2025
that night after you left
we had something similar
happened
one translucent we were
like
we were charged
it was right there
I thought it was going to blow through me
yeah that's how close it was
And right after that, we hear monkeys going off in the woods.
Yeah.
But when you look back at the footage, it's owls.
It sounds like owls, like maybe part owls, right?
And you say, oh, well, they sound similar.
It sounds different.
What we heard in person, at least for me, I don't want to speak for Joel,
But for me, that sounded like monkeys.
And Jack, you were there that night, and you weren't with me and Joel when we were charged,
but you guys heard the action because you were radioing in.
When you were out there and you were hearing the whole thing unfold,
were you guys able to hear the whole monkey owl thing go down?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Originally, we thought that we heard the first.
Whoa. You guys freaking out the first time.
Whoa!
Yeah. That's what your charge happened.
We were like, okay. We just looked at each other. We were like,
well, something. I mean, we just thought it was like you guys goofing around.
And then obviously we heard the monkey sounds and we were like, okay, so now Joel is just
messing around. So you guys thought that Joel was making monkey noises? Yeah. Yeah.
Wow. Yeah. So you could hear the monkey sounds. Oh yeah. Did it sound like monkeys to you?
Yes. That's why we thought. And you're the skeptical one. Like this guy, I hear, I hear
becoming more, I think you working with me, you're becoming more of a believer, but you, like,
I'm, I'm ready to believe. Jack's like, yeah, I'm not ready to believe. Like, yeah, I'm kind of
prove it to me still, but I think we're getting there. But for you to say that he heard monkeys,
Jack's the kind of person is like, no, it was owls. It was owls. It was actually a rare bird that
I read about once in high school. Yeah. Yeah. Well, it's good to have those people around you, though.
Nah, I hate those people.
Yeah, I know.
Kind of live and have fun.
Yeah.
No, and it's kind of funny you're talking about this
because I've been a friend of mine, Willis,
we've been going back and forth
and trying to break down.
And I really, we started at the beginning
with the Patterson footage.
And going back and looking at that camera
and really trying to break down the camera
rather than the footage, you know.
And what's different about that camera,
is the way that the frame rate happens on film, you know, as opposed to the modern digital cameras when that, you know, that we use.
And so I've been trying to find a way to bridge that connection because I feel like what is happening and what we're experiencing, what we aren't able to properly record, you know, because of that handicap, you know.
And it's kind of funny because on the spiritual side of things, you'll often see ghost hunters using old equipment.
Like you'll find them with the old school tape with an actual tape, you know, recording things.
And they're able to kind of get a better result out of that old technology, which can be a conspiracy theory in its own right.
How so?
Well, why would we come out with this type of technology that could, you know, record the paranormal better, you know, then kind of push people away, you know, from it to all the new 4K, you know, 10K cameras with, you know, so yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Maybe.
I think that people just want really sharp images.
and they'll sacrifice the ghosts
that they can pick up in the meantime.
Yeah.
People aren't thinking about that stuff.
You know, like people don't think about like, you know,
oh, I want to catch a ghost on camera one day.
Like, we do, but like...
Right, right.
But what I'm saying is, you know,
maybe the government was aware of this phenomenon happening,
you know, with the first technology.
Yeah.
And they have since then corrected it to create a narrative.
Well, there's actually, there's a couple,
um,
Jenny and Jamie King, they're in Pennsylvania, and they research a very specific place in Pennsylvania.
I think they actually live in Ohio just on the other side of the border and they kind of come over,
but there's a very specific place that they research and they've gathered.
I mean, when I'm talking like, they know everything in this area, they know everything.
They're like, oh, that log moved, huh?
Yeah.
I did get that rain last week.
You know, like, they know everything.
Yeah.
And if I remember correctly, they have an old audio recorder that they use that,
for those very purposes.
And apparently, I don't know,
I can't even tell you what kind it was.
Like, you have to reach out to them.
They're on social.
People can find them.
But they,
if I remember correctly,
this recorder,
like word got out amongst the ghost hunters and stuff,
that this is the kind of recorder you need.
Like,
it works, right?
You capture EVPs really well.
And so now,
whenever you see it for sale,
it's like $1,500.
It's like a 50-year-old device.
And they're like,
$25,000 you want it, you got to pay for it, you know?
And somebody will pay for it.
I do.
Dude, ghost hunting equipment gets so expensive.
Yeah, people are like, well, I have a $25,000 budget this year for my ghost hunting equipment.
I could buy all this stuff or I could buy this 50-year-old piece of device.
I think I'll go do that.
There's always next year for all the other stuff.
People, they'll spend the money for it, man.
I think I know what I actually think.
I actually think I know what you're talking about.
Is it got a hand?
Have you seen it?
I, a long time ago, I saw it.
I don't remember what it looks like.
I saw pictures of it.
I never saw it in person.
Yeah.
But yeah.
I think I know what you're talking about.
Yeah, they're good people.
Yeah.
Keep getting away from that microphone.
Sorry.
Sorry.
Yeah.
Come on, man.
I need to get you to be a podcaster more than a YouTuber sometimes.
Well, I'm often in the woods.
I'm sticking a fucking redneck, man.
Wires, lights.
Come on, bro.
Yeah, so.
Anyways, did Jenny and Jamie King,
you want to find out what that device was, just reach out to them. Like, I know, I see, I know they're on
Facebook. That's where I met them years ago. And then at the Ohio Bigfoot Conference. And,
uh, I know they're on Instagram. I see him on there. So I think Jamie King, G, J. A. M. I king. Um,
anyways, he looks like a leprechaun. He looks like an Irish guy. Like, he, like, he would be the first
to say it when he grows his beard and stuff. But, um, uh, good people. Uh, the location we,
I wanted to tell you this. And I just want, I don't, I don't, I don't,
don't want to forget to tell you this. And I don't think there's an actual logical conclusion as to
what we experienced. Again, going back to the magical location, man. Yeah. We, so, uh,
Joel was down here a few weeks ago. And, uh, we were doing a recording that hasn't been aired yet.
And we, we were planning on that Saturday. Somebody was coming into town and we were doing,
I'll just say, Justin from Appalachian Intelligence came to town. We did a whole Lilith recording.
and I'm sure you've heard a little if
and that's the whole bag of worms.
The night before, we're like,
yo, let's go out in the woods, right?
It was downpouring rain.
Remember that night?
I think I told you about that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So we went out there.
We were out there to like, what,
two, three o'clock in the morning
and it was raining.
And so we didn't bring cameras
because I'm not going to ruin my cameras.
We're going down the pipeline
and we get all the way back to the field.
Oh, dude.
that field.
Bro.
That field's wild.
Wild.
So,
we're approaching the field
and we see these
bright white lights
out at the field.
And I'm like,
what is that?
And Jack was out there
the night before,
which irritated me
because you're freaking
ruining the area.
It's magical.
You got to treat
like it's a magical.
It's not disrespecting the area,
Jack.
Like, I can't tell
him not to go because it's not my property
but I'm like, stop it!
You know?
So I'm like,
he's like, you weren't here last night.
And I'm like,
and I got the AAR, right?
I'm thinking,
no, freaking aliens landed out there.
Yeah.
And they're just going to, like,
we're like, what, a mile or something
away from the truck?
And I'm like, what are we going to do
in this rain with all these hills and the mud,
but we're going to run in the dark?
Like, what are we going to do?
So we're like, okay,
we're going to go up to this.
And so we're slowly walking up to it.
And, you know, I'm like, what, like, what am I going to do with my AR?
Like, I'm going to just shoot that alien, you know?
It's like, it's going to be like, suckered.
Those don't work.
Yeah.
So, uh, just come on in.
We lowered the steps.
Come on in.
We're going to do some butt stuff real quick.
And then we're going to ship you back.
You won't remember a thing.
Yeah.
You know, like, swick and easy.
And so, like, I, we're going up there and we get out to the field and these lights are beyond the field now.
And, and.
I don't know if we were tired.
We were tired. We had a hike back.
It was the middle of the night and we had to do
the recording in the morning. So at some point you
started away your options. Yeah.
But I do regret not keep going and not
following past the field to see what
these lights were. I don't know what they were.
They weren't there the night before.
I don't know the terrain well enough. I don't know if it was
like civilization lights somewhere, but they weren't
there the night before that Jack was out there.
That's the only good thing I could say about Jack going
out there without me is that
He was able to have a reference point.
There is a warehouse.
Tell me it was the warehouse.
Well, I'm not going to tell you it's a warehouse because I don't know exactly what you saw.
But there is an abandoned building back there.
Is it really?
Oh, we got to go explore that.
It's like massive.
And it's weird.
It's in a weird location.
I love living here.
Like, it's not a place where you would be like, oh, that's where this is.
It's just this huge building
like just way back
in the back of that.
Really?
So Scott Carpenter
talked to me about East Tennessee
here in Marable
how dogmen
will
like hide, live,
I don't know,
I wish he was still here
so I could pry more on this.
I know.
I wish I got to work with Scott.
Dude,
like he said that they actually,
that they're in town
in these abandoned,
buildings. And obviously that's not what you're talking about, but it's like, it's the same
idea. And like, we know where we're talking about dog man, bigfoot portals, UFOs apparently,
aliens. Like, like, I wonder what's in that building. I wonder if they're in there at night
and they come out. Dude, I don't know. I don't know why this building. I don't know why this building is
there. Oh, we're so going there. The building makes no sense at all.
Oh, we're going.
I'm going.
I don't even know how you would get to this building.
We will get to it.
I mean, other than two feet, other than the route that we go.
Yeah.
You know, through the woods.
I don't know how you would get to this building.
We're going and we're going at midnight.
At midnight.
And we're going to be there until at least three.
Yeah.
Let a kick off.
Yeah.
See what creatures come around.
Yeah.
Dude, I'm down.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Yeah.
Like, all right.
I got silver bowl.
You do?
I do.
Because I guess the last guest that was in studio, Brad, I forget his last name now, but
Brad, I can't remember his last name, but Jag remind me if you remember what the podcast was,
I forget.
I like giving people proper ado.
Lyle.
Brad Lyle.
Brad Lyle.
Do you remember the podcast?
The Awakening Podcast.
The Awakening Podcast.
It's a new podcast.
I don't even know if he actually started it yet.
But he brought gifts.
And one was 25 rounds of silver bullets.
And I was like...
That's cool.
That's awesome, dude.
What caliber?
556.
Nice.
Yeah.
And so I have that in my truck.
And I have it with my truck gun.
And we'll...
We could always be prepared for all things.
Garlic, silver bullets.
We can bring slugs.
Well, 556 silver bullet would...
I would imagine that would...
I mean, if a silver bullet is the trick, the 5,56 should get you there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I would imagine that could cause damage.
Or maybe it's 2, 2, 3.
I don't remember now.
Either way.
Either way.
We just need to pierce the skin with the silver and see what happens.
And if it turns into a human, we got to, we got to bury it.
Bring it home to the pigs or something.
You know?
That's a big fear of mine too, man.
Like, dude, what if I see this werewolf dog man?
thing and I'm like,
ba-ba.
And all of a sudden,
it's like,
oh, it shrivels into a person.
Like, no.
That is another,
how do I,
that happens because, like,
when we're in the field and we're experiencing these things,
like when you heard the monkey selves.
Yeah.
And it,
you know,
um,
that's a,
that's a problem that I run into because it's like,
I experience this in person,
which I understand that human eyes suck,
human ears suck in our memories.
suck.
Worse.
Yeah.
You know.
And I understand that part of it.
But when I experience these things, like, I know what I experience.
Like, I know what I experience?
You know, what if something else is occurring?
And then another person comes.
And dude, I don't know.
You just got me excited and I totally lost my train of thought.
I don't know.
There's going on, man.
The warehouse and silver bullets.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I've actually got pictures of it.
I was in that field.
I don't know.
I guess a couple days after you were.
Actually, when did you?
Let me look this up.
I don't remember when.
Because I found weird tracks back there.
Yeah.
Like weird tracks.
Like, I mean, you found those weird tracks when we went out there shooting a dock.
The day that you were with us, you found the dogman tracks.
Yeah, not the not dogman tracks, like some sort of vehicle track.
Like way back there.
Really?
And like an unidentifiable vehicle track?
I don't know.
They were 18 feet wide.
What?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like from tire and tire?
Yeah.
I counted out.
Like I walk it.
It's weird.
Huh.
I want to look at the date that I was out there.
Interesting.
Well, I mean, while we filled that air, I'll tell the story.
We went out there that night.
We got charged there.
Before that, you went out there that day in the morning on your motorcycle.
And you almost like toppled over the handlebars hitting your brake so fast because you came across that track.
That track.
It looked like this thing crossed the trail, stepped in that mud.
And that, that print was like the size of my hand.
Yeah.
Like it made your skull can look like a, like a dime.
Yeah.
And that was a canine track.
Like the nails were out and it was huge.
Huge.
Huge.
And you casted it.
Did you ever like, you were.
Were you able to see the detail in the cast?
I can't remember.
I think you showed us at night.
No.
It's not a very good cast, fortunately.
Yeah.
Once it really hardened, it wasn't that great of a cast.
I mean, you can still see the main parts of it.
Yeah.
But getting the detail wasn't that great.
Even if it was a good cast, the picture is better.
I know.
The picture, I mean, the reason why I can say it was a canine print is because
of how clear the print was in the picture.
Yeah.
I mean,
hands down, that was a canine.
Oh, yeah.
And a very large one.
Very large one.
Very large.
Yeah.
And there ain't no such thing as a big dog around here like that.
No.
No.
No.
Even the coy wolf wouldn't be that big.
Dude, that's a massive, massive, massive canine print.
And that just sets the stage.
I want to say it was like at least five and a half inches.
from side to side
in width.
Really?
Yeah.
I did all the measurements
and now I can't remember them.
But it was big, man.
It was big.
So there's something out there.
Well,
we know that.
And that's what's so cool
about that location
is because I had no idea
that that's where Scott Carpenter
was doing his research.
I was also doing research
in the same area,
finding...
Same thing.
in documenting the same thing that Scott was.
And we were two completely different investigators
that didn't even know each other.
So you're the person that he was talking about.
He's getting pissed up.
He's like, somebody's coming to my area.
No, I was kidding.
He never said that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We hung a snicker bars in the tree that one night.
Yeah, I was up.
At his feeding station.
Yeah.
Never went back to go look for him.
You never went back?
Oh, man.
No, dude.
Like, I forget what,
maybe it was the weather.
It was out there long enough that I was like,
it's not there.
One of these days we should get back out there just to make sure.
But wouldn't that be something that was still,
it was just sitting there still?
Like, we hung that thing in the tree.
Like,
and the way I wrapped it up,
I mean,
something would have had to either claw it out or the whole point was Scott
talks about how he would hang snickers in the tree
and they would take it and squeeze it into their mouth
or they would pop it in their mouth.
in their mouth, chew it up with a wrapper and spit the wrapper out.
That's how he got the saliva.
So, like, he went out there and it, it chewed up the bar and spit the wrapper out and
it had the saliva on it.
Okay.
So that's how he got that DNA.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And also, he got the hair by reverse wrapping trees with tape so that the tape was on the
outside.
So when they would reach for the candy bar or whatever, the hair would get stuck on there.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Wow.
Those are things that, like, you know, I'm glad he documented so much with his YouTube channel.
Yeah.
And it's little things like that.
It's like, why didn't I ever think of that?
Yeah.
Well, somebody else did, and I'm glad he did because, you know, we can implement those things.
We can now implement that stuff.
In the same location because we actually know where this is and continue that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That place is something special to me.
For sure.
You know.
Yeah.
I mean, as scary as it is.
Like, it's terrifying out there.
Like, it's so scary.
Like, even in the day.
time, it's scary.
Yeah, but when I was out there, I don't have that exact date on this phone.
But when I was out there, I was getting all kinds.
I started doing frequency tests out there.
I'm not sure you're into that aspect of it.
Yeah, the frequency tests I'm cool with.
I just don't, I want to be careful that I'm not doing things that are perceived in the
spiritual realm, let alone the physical of people's perceptions, but the spiritual, I don't want to be
doing something that might be a summoning thing. Yeah. You know, but the frequency thing,
I'm very open to the idea that frequencies do open portals. Yeah. See, I'm kind of the opposite.
I don't really particularly care. I know. Yeah, it's not that I'm doing it intentionally. Yeah.
But, you know, people often, I see a lot of people, you know, say don't use these frequencies because
they are summoning frequencies and I'm like, well, are they?
Well, let's test it up.
Let's test it out.
You know, and see what happens.
But yeah, one of the frequencies that I was doing, I can't remember which what it was,
went out there after I'd let it run for, I don't know, probably five, ten minutes.
Is this the EM pump?
No, no, I've got to get another one of those.
That one totally vanished.
Into a portal, out there.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, that didn't happen there.
We were there with you.
Yeah, yeah, you were, weren't you?
Yeah.
Yeah, that was that same night.
I'm still so mad about that because that was a good piece of equipment.
I'm done interrupting.
You tell your story.
Yeah.
I keep throwing you off.
You do throw me off.
Come out frequencies.
Yeah.
And out in that field.
And I started doing these frequency tests.
And then after a little bit, I looked down in my tri-field meter,
it's jumping, like, completely, like, topped out.
Like going full tilt for no reason.
My Geiger counter starts going really fast,
indicating what I believe is some sort of radiation.
And then all of a sudden I start hearing that pacing sound.
And then I'm like looking around.
I'm like, what the hell is going on here?
And I'm going, I'm kind of pacing at this point.
And I start hearing what sounds like a dog shaking its head.
You know, in a dog, it's wet.
and they started doing that.
I start hearing that.
And then I'm looking down.
And this is why I haven't released this video.
And this is why I haven't released another video
because I'm really frustrated because it didn't translate to film very well.
But I'm looking down this line.
And you can see all of the trees are completely still,
except for this one bush.
And it's going back and forth, like something's shaking it,
like going back and forth.
But it doesn't translate well on my side of the video.
So I'm at a creative standpoint where I'm like, I want to show this to people,
but that's not what I experienced at the time.
So it's frustrating.
It's very frustrating.
And I'm finding that that is a common thing with a lot of this stuff.
Like the idea that we want to convey to the world what it was like in person.
And I think people are going to understand this.
So when you come across.
of the most majestic, beautiful scene.
Let's just, for instance,
let's take you here locally.
I forget what road it is,
but there's a road out by the Walmart
and the Lowe's here in Marable
right next to the road right next to the Wiggles.
There's a hill there that you come over.
When you come over that hill
and you're coming up on the Waggles on the left side,
right in front of you, you're introduced
to the Smoky Mountains.
Yeah.
It's so majestic.
Yeah.
And beautiful.
and I've done this several times
I come over that hill
and I try to take pictures of it
and I'm like...
You can't capture it.
And that's when I
when that, I was telling my parents
because I was trying to show them how
and I was like,
you're just going to have to see it for yourself.
When I came down during the summertime,
I took them to that road.
I was like,
you can't capture what I'm experiencing in person.
And I think people can relate on that level.
So think about the most beautiful thing
you've ever seen.
You're trying to take a picture
so you can remember it and show it to others.
It just doesn't translate.
We experience that on this paranormal level side of things.
And it's like it's driving you freaking mad.
Yep.
Because you're just like...
Yeah.
Yeah, dude.
It gets exhausting.
It really does because you experience this great thing.
We perceive it as great at least.
And, you know, you're just not able to, you know, get it up to people.
people in the way that you want.
Yeah.
So I have kind of, and I'm trying to figure out a better way to do that.
And it's mainly getting like high speed cameras, not like overly high speed cameras,
but, you know, shooting at least 240 frames a second, you know.
So I don't know what any of that means.
So I'll just take your word for it.
So essentially like a video is essentially a bunch of pictures.
Yeah, I understand that. I just, like, like, I have no frame of reference. Like I, I, I, I have a, all that stuff. We have good cameras. I don't know how they work. I just, I just know they work. Well, I try to break that, that aspect of it down because I feel like, so if you, if you look at it, you know, from that aspect of it. So these things, these creatures, they move at, you know, say different vibrations. Okay. Everybody knows what vibration is, how it, how it moves. If your camera is shooting at 30 frames,
per second, which most cameras shoot at 30 frames per second.
So it's taken 30 pictures per second.
That's what creates that video.
If this creature, whatever, is moving in between that, those frames per second, you're
never going to be able to capture it.
So the faster you go, you know, the more that you're getting.
You just talk stupid to me and I appreciate that because I get it now.
Tony understand.
Well, that's my side of it as a researcher.
So I like to try to convey, you know, to people that, you know, there's more to it than, you know, just going out and walking around in the woods with the camera.
Yeah.
And it gets frustrating when you put all that work into it.
And then you still don't, you're not able to, you know, get that to those people.
How many frames per second do our eye shoot?
That's a good question.
They shoot completely different.
No, no.
We just got to break it down math.
Everything's a math problem.
But then you got to look at the light.
Like, we can't see all the, you know, variations of light.
So if like these things can exist.
An infrared or ultraviolet.
In different lights.
They could be right next to us.
We never even know it.
Yeah, buddy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Man.
We got to get out in the woods.
That's what we know of is infrared and ultraviolet.
But, you know, there could be an infinite.
Oh, my God.
Gosh, man.
So we,
I want you,
listen,
I don't want to forget
because you told me
this a while ago,
you sent me
these pictures,
and I don't know
if this is a frozen head
where we're going to go
at some point or what,
but,
dude,
the trail cam of the Black Panther.
Yeah,
like,
dude,
ever since I've been doing this stuff,
the idea of Black Panther
pops up here and there,
and it never,
I never,
it never,
struck me. I'm just like, who cares? Is a big cat?
I don't care. I care now.
Yeah. I've gotten
older. I'm more mature.
And I understand certain things like, hey,
they're not supposed to be here.
Why are they here? And on a very
practical level,
why are they here and why are they not telling us
they're here? Let's just say it's practical, not
paranormal. It's just a big black cat.
Yeah. Why is that a secret?
You know what I'm saying?
But you have that on camera.
Yeah.
It's huge.
Chasing a pig, a big ass pig.
Big pig.
Yeah.
Big pig.
Yeah.
Yeah, man, I don't know how to explain it.
You know, and it's one of those things.
But it's, that is something that I'm excited to, you know, share with people because, like, when I first started talking about, you know, in the East Tennessee culture, that's, that's another creature crypted that people have talked about being.
here and, you know, killing livestock and all this other stuff.
But then, you know, the state government side of it is saying, no, we do not have Black
Panthers in this area.
They just couldn't survive in this, you know, climate.
And here we got video of it.
You know, we have like multiple generations talking about this thing.
You know, I know several people whose granddad said that they shot it.
You shot one, you know.
But it is what it is until you have the actual body itself.
Did I ever tell you about the cop that got it on Dashcam?
No.
So Eddie down at Legends and Lower Pizzeria.
He's been down.
I got to go see him.
Dude, I was just in there a few weeks ago.
And he's like, hey, next time you come in bring Brian, I was like, yeah, if we're together,
yeah, for sure.
Yeah.
He's so nice to me.
Yeah.
And I just, I never make it out there.
And I feel so guilty.
Yeah, dude.
Like he like he.
Not that I should feel guilty.
He's just, that's him.
That's him. That's his personality.
He's just a nice guy.
Awesome guy.
Awesome pizza.
And the potato wedges are something to die for.
Especially when you splash Lyle Blackburn's hot sauce on him.
Yeah.
So good.
But he told me that he had a sheriff come in and said that he was driving down on these roads down there in greenback or something.
and a Black Panther crossed the road in front of him.
He caught it on dash cam,
and this thing was so big that it had a duck to go underneath the guardrail
and the tail wrapped around the guardrail as it went underneath.
Wow.
And the officer was talking to like a game warden or something
and said he had it on dash cam.
He's like, no, they don't exist around here.
He's like, I got it on dash cam.
He showed it to him.
And the guy goes, don't show anybody that.
Yeah.
Don't show anybody that.
I don't know why they do that.
I don't.
I don't either.
You know, back in the day that maybe it was because of the animals that we used to be able to keep around here.
So, you know, you were able to have a lion.
That's crazy.
You could have a time.
That's the most East Tennessee thing I've ever heard of my life.
You know, but then there was, there's another location that it's out toward this place called the Witches.
circle that is now a rescue, I would assume, for all the tigers and lions that people used to have.
Really?
Yeah.
Well, I mean, I shouldn't say that because I don't know for sure, but they have a ton of lions and tigers, like over 200 in East Tennessee at this one location.
Yeah.
What happens to those things get out?
Well, see, that's the thing is so near the Witches Circle, which is another area that
kind of weird.
It's in the name?
Yeah, it's got a bad side of it.
And that's, I've got to take you out there
because I didn't even tell you the last thing
that I found out there.
Bodies just everywhere.
Just put it that way.
Human?
No.
Animal carcasses.
Like, everywhere.
Everywhere from coyotes to horses.
Everything.
Everything's scattered all over this place.
Yeah, I'm going to go back and get a coyote skull.
I'm just
I'm a collector
well no I mean it's
it's already out there
and like I mean that's kind of
best way to clean the bones
is just let nature do it's stuff
but you know
anyways you were saying
but yeah there
there you know
I had
and at this time
I had been working
at the Knoxville Zoo
and so I had a lot
experience with seeing
you know the aftermath
when a tiger takes or lion takes crap or whatever.
So I'm out in the woods at this point, and I find this deer carcass,
and it's a full deer, and it looks like chewed up.
And I look down, I see these massive prints, like massive prints.
And I'm like, this is like a tiger out here, you know.
And then I looked up, and that's where I figured out the correlation to this place.
and that this place was out there
because I was concerned that they had lost a tiger or a lion
or so.
Has anybody lost their pet lions?
Yeah.
But now, I don't know how it works now.
I mean, it wasn't just East Tennessee.
It was like all across, you know, the United States used to be able to keep, you know,
all kinds of crazy animals.
Had a bunch of tiger kings around here.
Well, my mom had an orangutan.
For real?
Yeah.
Wow.
Wow. Wow.
Yeah. No, no, no.
Which now, if you know anything about orangutans, they're crazy animals.
Of course, chimp, chumps are too.
God, those things are terrifying.
Yeah. No, I don't want it as a pet.
Listen, did I tell you where we're going tomorrow?
I don't think I did.
No, you did.
So we've got to wind this down because I got to get moving here.
And you got to pick up your kid too.
Jack and I are going up to Pennsylvania.
My sister's having a baby.
Oh, yeah.
And we're going to this ancient location, giant rock walls.
Yeah, yeah.
Did I tell you a story behind that, though?
The reptilians?
Reptilians?
Dude, I want to do a reptilian investigation.
Bro, bro.
Like, you can't come on this trip, but one of these days, we can take you up there.
This place has, so I'm going to do this really quick.
Once upon a time, Tony was a park enforcement officer in the city of Reading, Pennsylvania.
and I wrote around on a mountain bike all day
riding parking tickets
4 o'clock every day
I would go to this one place
where a security guard was outside
and we would talk
I went to go drive tractor trailer then
and years goes by
I go into Best Buy one day
and I see this guy
and like oh bro how you've been
and he started talking
and I tell him what I started doing
with the podcast
and he goes oh do you know anything
about reptilians?
I don't want to say
I know anything about reptilians
but I've heard of them
and he goes
there's reptilians
in Redding. And I'm like, what?
And he's like, he's like, yeah. And I'm like,
tell me more. He's like, I don't
want to talk about it. I'm like, down, you're trolling
me, man. So every time I went in there,
I would bring it up to him. And sometimes I
would just swing by, Best Buy, just to see if he was working.
And one of the last
times I saw him, he went in the detail and he's like,
listen,
I, they're in the Redding, Pennsylvania
area. There's a whole, like,
civilization of them. And
they have some kind of underground
civilization. And he said,
there's an entrance to it, and the entrance is marked by a really large rock that looks like a serpent.
And I'm like, okay, so I get on the old Duck, Duck Go machine.
I'm searching around, searching around, and I find two locations in southeastern Pennsylvania
that could resemble that.
One was called Dinosaur Rock out towards the Harrisburg area.
Yeah.
And it was totally painted graffiti.
It looked like people go there for picnics.
I was like, that can't be it.
Yeah.
Then I found another location.
out in the wilderness by itself up on the Appalachian Mountains.
And it is this giant rock wall out in the middle of nowhere
that stretches like over a half a mile.
And as you walk it, it goes more gradually into the ground.
And at the end of the rock wall, when you first come up,
I've been there already.
When you first come up to it, so at one point, I think,
this is me projecting,
I think that this was a complete wall.
juries out if it's natural or manmade,
I have a feeling I could justify saying it's man made or made,
designed. I don't know if it's manmade.
Gotcha.
It's designed.
Because this part of the wall where there's this hole in it,
it looks like it collapsed.
And when you walk up to it,
all the pieces that are broken and fallen seem to be about eight to 10,
12 feet long,
and they're almost perfectly rectangle or square.
They're these long rectangle square,
like they're giant bricks.
Wow.
And at the end of this thing, it looks like a snakehead.
Oh, my gosh.
It looks like an old worn down snakehead.
And I was like, I found it.
And so we're there, and this was years ago, probably like three or four years ago,
I was out there with Edward Munge from Triangle Media.
And him and I were, we spent like 14 hours out there.
And I had no idea what I was doing.
documenting was just not really my thing.
I have the video footage.
We're going to make another video.
We're going to combine the two for people.
So it's common people.
So we're out there and there was this hiker that came through.
And I was talked to him.
I was like, you know, trying to get something if there's anything without saying I'm weird.
And he just said, he goes, hey, be careful walking around here.
There's a lot of old mine shafts that opened up and people fall in.
And I'm like, okay, so now you're telling me.
me the ground's hollow at this location where the serpent head is.
Copy.
So now there is possibly a spot where I could enter into.
And so we were out there.
It got dark out.
And we're hiking back along this rock wall to the snakehead area where we can leave then.
Because you come in at that spot.
Yeah.
So we stop because there's these orbs that come down into the valley.
And we're trying to film that.
And I think we got it on video, but I don't know how good it is.
But I said back to him, I was in front of him, I said, you're ready to go.
And Ed, strong Costa Rican accent, strong.
There's no mistake in his accent.
Right.
And he says yes.
And then right after that, we start walking and right up close to his microphone, there's a female voice.
And it goes, okay.
Oh, gosh.
That's so scary when that happens.
No idea.
No idea it happened.
We get up to the snakehead and we're sitting there.
It's probably like midnight or something.
It's dark out.
Cameras put away.
We're exhausted.
it totally tapped out.
I'm not trying to do anything.
I let him leave.
Get enough energy to hike back to the truck.
Yeah.
I'm sitting there on this
collapsed wall
and I hear a little girl voice
off in the woods.
And I'm like,
did you hear that?
And he didn't hear it.
And for the longest time,
I blame myself for not going
investigating because of later
finding out about the EVP.
Yeah.
But that's why I'm going back
because there is something
going on up there.
And there's this Google
review, Jack, I text you that Google
review. Can you see if you can find it real quick
so we can read it?
I know I texted to you a while
ago, see if you can flip through your images.
When I was researching this,
there was a guy
who pinned that location
on Google Maps, and
he made a message.
And the message, like,
wasn't like what you expect.
Like, oh, I found this amazing, beautiful.
The scenes beautiful.
this wild rock wall out of middle of nowhere,
no idea.
Nothing like that.
He said if this place is,
something like this place,
I want to say magical.
I say magical all the time.
So maybe he didn't say magical.
But he said there's something special about this place.
Yeah.
And the longer you spend time here,
the more mysterious it gets or something like that.
Do you have it, Jack?
Oh, you text it to me?
So hang on a second.
I'll read a verbatim for you here.
This guy goes,
And I've been trying to find this guy.
I've been trying to find him, you know?
I can't find him anywhere.
What did you mean?
Three years ago, he wrote this.
He said, there's nowhere else on earth that means as much to me as this place.
If you go and spend the day, you'll see so many incredible things.
However, if you go again and again, you'll find things that most people don't know about, things that are meant to be hidden.
And I'm like, yeah.
Lizard people
I'm like, I found the lizard people
You know
Yeah
So yeah
Jack and I
I mean
It's like oh yeah
My sister's having a baby
That's cute
I'm going to hunt lizard people
And I'm using that as an excuse
Well dude he sent my
Your GPS locations
Right
Get there bring rope
Dude I
Dude I climbed a
I climbed part of the rock wall
When I was there
So when I went there
I didn't have hiking boots
I wasn't like way I am now with the outdoor gear.
I had my old steel-tipped boots from truck driving that I wore that day.
My feet were sore.
And I went out climbing a rock wall, vertical rock wall with a steel-tip boots and stuff.
I was an idiot.
I could have freaking fell and die on that one.
But anyways, that's what we're getting geared up to do tomorrow is head up there to do that.
And then we're going to spend time with my sister.
And then we're going to be going actually to the old company I left driving for.
my dad still drives for them and they do these things
called truck rodeos. It's basically a truck
competition whoever drives
the most precision and stuff.
They get bumps in the states and then you can
compete for nationals and stuff like that.
So we're going up there. My dad's actually hosting
his podcast, Him Reliance,
there at the rodeo.
And so we're going to go up there and help with the tech
side of things with that. So it's like
a work, see, family
vacation thing, you know?
Yeah. That's cool. Yeah. Anyways,
dude, listen, this was a lot of
fun talking with you hanging out.
This was overdue.
Let's not wait another year
however long it's been
for you to be on the show.
Yeah, no, we just got to get out in the woods.
We got to get out to Norris too.
Dude, and do the Egyptian ruins?
Yeah.
I know.
I know. I know.
I know.
We got out there.
We got to get out there.
Yeah.
We got the boat.
We got the sonar.
Yeah.
Let's do it.
Got to go.
Yeah.
All right.
