I was thinking, like, I think part of the problem in America is that 911,
Starting point is 00:00:24 people think of 911 as being instant response and because like when I was growing up in South Africa one of my favorite TV shows I used to watch with my mom was a show called Rescue 911 right with William Shatner and it was like a show where they go like 911 do you have an emergency and be like hi I'm in my house and then like 911 would be like 911. And they're like 9111 and we never like 911 the hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi. and we they they. And they they they they. And th and I th and I th. And th. And th, hi. th, like, like, like, like, like, hi, hi, hi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th, like, th, I th, like, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. like, when I th. like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like 911 would get there and I remember even when we were watching inside We'd be like wow 911 911 and this is in Africa and we like 911 and we like 911 and this is in Africa and we like 911 and we never thought of our numbers because they started they tried a thing in South Africa called 10 triple one. Because they try to go with that feeling but we never thought of it as instant response because Because if you would call our like call senses it wouldn't the efficient. And so like in America, I think people are used
Starting point is 00:01:05 to the fact that something will get done now. So I was thinking what you should do is, just to like dull it for a bit, you should bring the South African operators here. Just so that people stop thin-one, just so that people stop thinking 911, they'll to think they'll come to check what happened Which I mean I get it, but I'm also like that's crazy
Starting point is 00:01:29 Whereas in South Africa like if you like like if you like if they called if you have South African operators doing 9-1 like you'd call he be like, He'd be like hello? There's a man at the park and they be like, they're like, there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a the the the the they. they. they. they. they. they. they. their they. their their their their their their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. I I I I I's a their. their. their. their their their their their their their their their th. th. I's th. I's th. I's th. I's th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm their their their. And it'd be like, and? And he, he looks really suspicious. Be like, okay, go talk to him. Ask him what he's doing. Ask him his name, what is doing there? Be like, I'm scared of talking to him. Okay, walk away then. Go away. Like, they would just be like, people here it's just people here just like the cops are going no The cops are not coming for everything like here you can call nine on one because your cat is in a tree
Starting point is 00:02:08 That is some crazy ass shit in Africa that you just be like yeah, you'd be like yeah, you'll be like, oh my cat's in a tree they'll be like oh okay Yeah, you be like I need what would my cat stuck in their tree they'll be like? They they they they they they they they they they they they they they'll they they'll they'll they'll their they'll they'll they'll they'll they'll they'll they'll their they'll they'll they'll they'll they they'll they'll they'll they'll they'll their they'll their they'll they'll they'll they'll they'll they'll they'll they'll they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're their their they're their their their they're their their their they're their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their try try te try try tttry try ttry try tttry their their their their their their then how will your cat learn? Let the cat suffer, it will never do it again. Thank you for calling. Please stay on so you can read this call. Thank you very much. The Daily Show with CoverNo. Ears Edition.
