There's not one election that has been won in this country by Democrats that was not won by African-American women. Congresswoman and myself we go way back. We marched together in 1971 in Memphis we marched together again in Tupelo. I don't remember any of that. I was wearing a brown suit.

Walk me through I wake up with. And I'm working on that agenda until the end of the evening. You want to know how I start my day? I smoke three menthol cigarettes and I sip whatever alcohol is left in a glass on the nightstand from the day before. That's very dangerous. Have you ever smoked three menthol cigarettes every morning? Me? No. Are those your real teeth? I don't answer got your questions. Talk to me about the 5,000 role models of excellence. Right now there are

8,000 boys in the program of all racist creeds in colors from grades three to grade 12. We put them on a carefully charted course to manhood, and then we send them to college. Mentorship is very important, you know. I myself was a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters. That's how I learned to read. That kid was very smart. Let's speak to your track record on some of the issues that you hold near and dear.

Now, you have been a staunch supporter of gun control and family leave and extending that. But talk to me about one of your biggest losses, which was the right to wear your hats during assembly. I really didn't fight that. I had one conversation with the speaker. And he told me that there was a rule that said, hats are not allowed on the floor. And then I started getting letters saying, all she went to Congress for was to fight to wear a hat on the floor.

And I say, I came here to fight for my people. I didn't come to fight to wear hats on the floor. So instead of fighting for hats, you chose to fight for the people. You could have done both. With that in mind, I would like to award you this trophy as a thank you. This is the CP Time Award for Fighting and Fearless Fashion 2018. And that is yours.
