Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Comedy Central. When 60 Minutes premiered in September 1968, there was nothing like it. This is 60 Minutes. It's a kind of a magazine for television. Very few have been given access to the treasures in our archives. You're rolling? But that's all about to change. Like none of this stuff gets looked at. That's what's incredible. I'm Seth Done of CBS News, listen to 60 Minutes a second look on Apple podcasts starting September 17th.
Starting point is 00:00:34 The Olympics, some people think they're exciting. Other people just think there are a reason to fall asleep on the couch at 10 p. But you won't find any of those bland-ass takes here because this is the hottest at 10 p.m. But you won't find any of those bland-ass takes here, because this is the hottest ta. Oh. Oh. Okay, Dulce. Give me your hot take on the Olympics. Okay, Roy, let's just break down the Olympics for a second.
Starting point is 00:00:58 A bunch of countries are coming into Japan, taking their gold and silver, then going home? That shit is colonialism. To the people of Japan, I apologize on behalf of the world for pillaging your great land. Oh my God, that's a hot take D. That's a hot take D. Costa, can you top that hottest take? You know, Roy, all I hear lately is, oh, Olympic athletes. They're so inspirational and brave. Well, I say they're cowards.
Starting point is 00:01:25 If they really wanted to be the greatest athletes on the planet, they should have to compete against animals, too. If you ask me, Katie Ledeki should be stripped of all her gold medals until she can beat a dolphin. How are you gonna say you're the greatest wrestler on the planet if you've never pinned a single bear. Oh, that's that, thi, thi, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, thi pussy. Desi, can you top that hot mistake? I can't believe that no one is pointing out that the Olympics are cultural appropriation. Ancient Greece invented the Olympics and we just stole it and took it like it was our own.
Starting point is 00:01:56 How do you think that makes Heracles feel? Ooh, that's hot! From now on, only Greek people should participate in the Olympics. Greece versus Greece, every event. I know that takes a little to suspense out of it, but whatever. You know what, at this point, I don't even know how the Olympics committee can sleep at night. This takes, they're too hot. But see, I got the hottest take. You know what the hottest take on the Olympics is, if you want to decide who the best country is, you don't do it with sports, you do it with war.
Starting point is 00:02:25 That's what we need. We need every country to go back to war. Every four years, every country face-to-face, guns, tanks, planes, bombs, all that shit. That's how you decide who's the best. Not a-table tennis. Hot take! Hmm. I could be in the end end end end end that that thia thia thia thiiiante that's thine thine thine thine thine thine thine thine thine thine thi! I'll be in thi! I'll be in thi. the thi. thi. thoes. thi. thi. thaten. thaten. that. that. that that. that that's that's that's th-a. th-a. th-a. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I to be to be to be to be to be to be to be th. I to be thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. to be than. to be thea. to to ta. to to to toea. toea. toea. toea. toea. ta. ta. ta. ta. It's actually not a bad idea. I would watch that. the Daily Show with Trevor Noah Ears Edition. Subscribe to the Daily Show on YouTube for exclusive content and stream full episodes anytime
