Breaking tonight, the president kicks another high-level member of his team to the curb

in a tweet. Mr. Trump announcing just a little while ago that the Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin is out. I believe it was the great philosopher, D.J.K. Another one. Yep. President Trump has fired his Secretary of Veterans Affairs, and he's replaced him with the official White House doctor, the man who gave Trump his presidential physical.

Yes. Which sort of makes sense. I guess Trump was probably like, anyone who's seen me naked deserves a reward. Anyone who seen it. So it was either this promotion or paying him $130,000. And I'm never doing that again. He's Jose loyal folks. Let's move on to our main story. You always hear about how thankless it is to be a public servant in America. But down in Alabama, there's one sheriff there who has found his job very enriching.

Alabama sheriff accused of keeping money meant to feed inmates for himself. A published report hints that Edowar County Sheriff Todd Entrykin took so much that money, he bought an expensive beach house. Okay, that is wild. Apparently this sheriff took $750,000 that was supposed to feed inmates in a prison and used it to it to to to to to to to to to to to to to to buy it to buy it to buy it to buy it to buy it to buy it to buy it to buy it to buy a to buy a to buy a to buy a to buy a to buy a to to to to to to to to to to to to to to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to be a to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to the the that is wild. Apparently, this sheriff took $750,000 that was supposed to feed inmates in a prison and used it to buy a beach house. Yeah, and I'm sorry, if you're going to be siphoning cash, you've got to be subtle about it. You can't be going around buying beach houses. Like, that's one of the top signs that you have a lot of money. You're busted. We know. But maybe the reason the

sheriff wasn't trying to hide it is was that he didn't care about being caught because it turns out and this shocked me when I found this out. In Alabama it's not against the law. Because a depression-era state law makes Alabama sheriff personally responsible for feeding inmates, the performance bonus Edrican gave himself is legal. Over the last three years, the Sheriff's Food Program has run under budget, letting him pocket the leftovers. I haven't done anything wrong.

If it's wrong, somebody needs to change the law. Anybody that gets out here and works every day, if you make a profit, it's yours. Okay, like, first of all, first of all, I cannot believe that that's a law. Any money you don't use to do your government job you get to keep for yourself? I feel like that just gives public officials an incentive to do their jobs badly. Like, I don't think it would be a good idea to let firefighters keep any money they save on water, you know. Yeah, Bionze is performing this year year. You. You. You. You. You. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. thii. Yeah. thi. thi. Y'all gotta figure out someone else. Stop dropping and roll. And by the way, this wouldn't be as bad if the sheriff was taking the money, but only off defeating the inmates. But just look at what this guy is passing off as food. Ediwakon's proud of his jail food. These meal trays serve to inmates every day. If you used to eat Grandma's fried chicken, ordering pizza several times a week, you're not going to be happy. This is a jail.

This is not a bed and breakfast. Domino's does not deliver here. We don't run to McDonald's and get these prisoners and tainees. Big Macs. Wow, I don't know if this guy knows how to run a prison, but he knows his phosphood restaurant, say, yeah, he was describing his meal plan for himself. That's what it sounded like.

We're not gonna get you the crispy baconator with the cheese. And we're not gonna get you to make. with the Ariel Swirl or the Arby's Meat Mountain. Now that one's off menu so you gotta ask for it, which we're not gonna do that. Okay, we're not gonna do that. But I'm sorry, man. Just look at the food that he serves the prisoners. That, look at that. Look at that.

Look at, just like white, everything. The only thing, that white normally in Alabama is a clanrarararararara learned, once you've learned that the sheriff makes money off of prisoners, it makes you hear all of his other law enforcement decisions in a new light. This is the major story, heroin, heroin, fentanyl, you know, we've got to do something. Treating folks isn't the way to stop this problem. We've got to put people back in jail. We've got to put folks in jail and make them accountable, hold them accountable for what they're doing. Yeah, it makes sense. Of course he wants more people in prison, because that means more food

budget for him to take home. Hey, he's probably walking around his town like, Jay walking 30 years in prison. Some kid walks up to him, he's like, Billy stole my lollipop. He's like, well, Billy's going to jail. And you're also going for snitching. I'm sorry, this guy's unbelievable. He's probably the only person who watched Shorshank Redemption and was inspired by the warden. That's who he seems like. For more legal analysis, we turn to our correspondent who looks most like to to to everybody. Michael, I'm sorry, man.

Profiting off a prisoner's food budget is clearly wrong. Yeah, it's wrong, but it's not illegal, Trevor. That's the beauty of this sheriff. Well, that and his aging baby look. That's classic. But I applaud the sheriff for living in the wrong but legal zone. Here, let me explain using this Venn diagram that I carry around with me. You see, most wrong behavior is illegal, but occasionally things that are wrong are also legal, as you can see in this tasty little sweet spot right here.

Oh, because that's where all the fun is. It's like taking your shirt off at a movie theater, or getting a Bill Cosby tattoo, or farting the ghostbusterusters theme song in an elevator. It's wrong. It's legal and it's fun. It's like when I told my insurance company,

I broke both my arms, and they sent me the check, and I'm like, oh, looks like they're working again. Ha ha ha ha! Michael, I think that last one is actually illegal. Wait, wait, wait, what? The kids are all right. But before we get into the music, let's talk about the amazing story of how you were discovered. A lot of people know you from YouTube. You used to do covers. And then there was one particular cover that you did that changed your lives. Yes. It was. And that cover in particular was Pretty Hurtz by Biancee and you know we had posted this

cover and we noticed this one started to become a lot more viral than usual. And then two weeks later we got an email from her team and they were asking us if they could post the video and if we were signed. I th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and the the the the the the the their th. I their th. I th. I th. I th. I tho. I tho. I tho. I tho. I was reading thin. the. the. tho. tho. I was tho. It was, tho. It was, the. It was, the. It was, the. It was, the. It was, the. It was, tho. It was, tho. And, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the. And, the. And, the. And, the. I know and we were reading into that like why do they need to know if we're signed? So we were like of course you can post it and just in case here's our dad's info I'm so happy we did that and two days later they reached out to us and told us that Beyonce wanted to sign us and we were freaking out and I remember it was on January 2nd of 2013 and we're so into like vision boarding and like we were like this year's gonna be a good year and it was the second day of the new year and we

were like oh okay I feel like I feel like you end the year at that the year the year the day Beyonce signs me I'm done thank you ladies and gentlemen I bid you a due I am that is that is amazing and you you you and you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th., ladies and gentlemen. I bid you a due. I am today. That is amazing. And you weren't just signed by Beyonce. You were the first artist signed onto her new imprint, which is an amazing achievement. When you met her for the first time, what's going through your head as an artist? Because I mean, it's not just Biance on that level. It's also musically a big thing. Yes, absolutely. When we first met Beyonce the first couple of times, of course, the little girls within us were like, oh my gosh. But we couldn't do that, you know, we were like, oh my goodness, you know, you're such an inspiration to us.

And then after those few times, you know, we just really realized, wow, she's just a normal, beautiful person. Right. And she really cares for us and just wants to just teach us so many things and we are just so grateful that we get an opportunity to have a mentor like her. And she's not your only fan. I mean, you've been getting rave reviews, you know, you opened for Beyonce on Tour. Your song was used in the Wrinkle in Time movie, which was an amazing achievement for you. You performed before Michelle Obama at her South by Southwest talk.

I mean, you've had a really meteoric rise. Let's talk about the album, because you don't just sing, which is already, your singing is amazing, people are gonna hear it later in the show. But you also produce, you play the music, who plays piano, who plays guitar? I play keys. Yes, and I plays guitar. How does this work? I play keys. Yes, and I play guitar. Right. And we created most of this album, most of all of our music in our living

room at the house, and we have our small little setup. I have my keyboard and our computer monitor and our telefunken mic and we just get all of our ideas out there and you know creating this album felt like we were birthing a baby and I'm just so happy we have it out into the world. And it's just been pretty cool to even say we executive produced it and did all the music. My sister is an amazing producer. She won't say it herself but you know she produced this whole album we wrote all the songs on the album and you know we're just really inspired by doing things ourselves. Why the kids are all right? What is the significance of the title?

Yes, well, this title, especially right now and this time, it means so much to us. You know, speaking out, the kids are all right. Sort of like a mantra. And with all of the crazy, crazy things happening in the world, you know, they wonder if this generation, And our answer is yes, we'll be all right. Our parents did not fail us, just made us stronger. We're here. And we're not afraid to raise our voices. And that's what I love about being a part of this generation.
