Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Comedy Central. Yes, sir, you had your hand up. What made you decide to grow your hair? What made me decide to grow it? So there was a pandemic. And then I decided, I was like, man, I can't see my barber. And then I decided, I was like, man, I can't see my barber. So I'm going to grow this hair.
Starting point is 00:00:19 No, no one couldthe truth is that no one could cut their hair. Remember, there's a point we just, we couldn't cut our hair. Nobody could cut their hair, nobody could cut their hair. And then the hair just started growing, started growing. And then now you have a choice. You have a choice as a person. You go, I cut my own hair. Or I want to, because I'm loyal to my barber, do you know what I mean? I don't play around with just random now, especially myself. And so I was like, I'm not, I'm not going to cut it. And then it just grew and it grew and it grew and it grew and it grew and it grew and it grew.
Starting point is 00:00:53 And then what happened was, it was really interesting. At some point, I was just like, oh, I forgot how fun it is to have. Especially an Afro, right? Small things you don't think about that you appreciate with an Afro. Like one, my head is never hot nor cold anymore. Completely true. On a hot day, I'm fine. On a cold day, I'm fine. Whereas normally I'd be like, I need a hat. And then I'd be like, oh man, I'm sweating. Afro, nothing.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Whatever is happening here is not happening in my head. I appreciate that a lot. And then the other day I was moving a TV, right? So my younger brother was helping me move a TV and then the TV like he was behind it and I was in front of him we're trying to move it off a shelf, we're trying to plug something behind, so we're trying to plug in the X-box and we're like let's move, let's find the HDMI and I was like just like just like just like just like just just just just just just like just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just the the the the the the the th just push th push just push it the the th th th the the th the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th the th the th th th the the th th th th and then th and I th and I th th and I th and I th th th th th th th th. th. th. thu thu thu thu thu tm. tm. tm. tm. tm. tm. tm. thu thu thu this and then it just sat on my head. And I was like, oh shit! I mean, it didn't crack, it didn't break, it didn't dent. And I was like, this is... And now when I go back to South Africa, I can finally challenge my mom in bucket-carrying contest. Because when I was a kid, my mom, I can finally challenge my mom in bucket carrying contest.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Because when I was a kid, my mom, she still does it now. She'll carry giant buckets full of water. But I mean like heavy, heavy, heavy buckets. I can barely lift them. And what she would tell me to do is she'd be like, lift it and put it on my head. And that's how she would carry it. And then she'd the bucket, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the bucket, the bucket, the, the, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she'll, she'll, she'll, she'll, she'll, she'll, she'll, she'll, she'll, she'll, she'll, she'll, she's, she's, she's, she's, she. their, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she'll, she'll, she'll, she'll, she'll............... the, she's, she's, she's, she's. the the the the the th. th. th. thi. t t t t t t thea, thea, t-a. thea. thea, thea, she'll thea. thea, she'll thea, she'll. the the the the t it and then I would try it and I was like, oh my head, my head, my head and my mom would be like, I took out and I stopped being a baby and I was like, it's not a baby in my head. And then when that TV hits, I was like I'm coming for you mom.
