We have a big announcement! Starting on Tuesday, The Daily Signal will be releasing a separate top news show every day at 5 p.m. ET. You can catch all the top news of the day on your drive home from work, while you are cooking dinner, or picking the kids up from soccer practice. But don't worry, our interviews are not going anywhere. We will still bring you deep dive interviews with policy makers and conservative activists every morning. This is the Daily Signal podcast for Friday, September 2nd. I'm Virginia Allen. I'm Doug Blair. And I'm Samantha Rank. And today, in place of our normal show, we have a big announcement to share with you all. Yeah, Virginia, we are shaking things up here at the Daily Signal podcast. Now, over the past three weeks, we took a break from doing our normal news headlines on the show. And we asked you all to share your feedback with us regarding those headlines,

if you wanted us to keep them or if you wanted us to get rid of them. We asked, and you all responded overwhelmingly that you wanted headlines. in the show. So they are coming back as of Tuesday, but we didn't just want to break headlines back. We wanted them to be more relevant, timely, and informative than ever before. So starting next week, the Daily Signal will be releasing a separate top news show every day at 5 p.m. Our deep dive interviews with policymakers and conservative actists aren't going anyway. They'll still go live every morning. And then you can catch all the top news of the day on your drive home from work while you're cooking dinner or picking kids up from soccer. Both shows will be released right here on the Daily Signal podcast, so no need to subscribe to any new shows or anything like that.

But I am so excited for this new format because now there is going to be an evening conservative news option for all of our podcast fans out there. Absolutely. One of the things we heard over and over and over again was that the people really appreciate our conservative talk about the news. We are one of the few places on the internet that is actually going to provide you with honest conservative opinions. about some of the top news stories of the day, and people really miss that. Yeah, and since it's releasing at 5 p.m., it's going to be the news that just happened, most relevant.

And so I'm so excited to get to dive into this new format and really be bringing people the news that they care about consistently right there as they're finishing their workday or whatever's happening. And for those of you who did enjoy our interviews, those will still be available as usual every morning, ready for you on your podcast app, for you to listen to. So we are so excited for this new format to be bringing you top news of the day

every day at 5 p.m. Still, as Sam said, bringing you those interviews. We hope you all love it just as much as we are so excited for it. Now, because of the three-day weekend, the holiday weekend, we don't have a show on Monday. We hope that you enjoy your labor day. But Rob and I will be back with you on Tuesday morning for our normal show to kick off the week.
