President Trump officially signs an executive order making good on his promise to label Antifa a terrorist organization.
After an attack on a Sacramento ABC affiliate, Jimmy Kimmel is unsuspended by the Walt Disney Company, but is still preempted on many ABC stations by Sinclair.
And an FDA study on a link between gestational Tylenol use and autism sends parent company Kenview's stock price plummeting.
I'm Tony Kennett, host of the Daily Signals Tony Kinnett cast, syndicated nationally at 7 p.m. Eastern.
It is Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025.
This is the Daily Signals, top news in 10.
Yesterday afternoon, White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt outlined a series of crimes
committed by individuals a part of the Antifa organizations and local cells
and suggested that the President of the United States would sign an executive order
labeling the organization a terrorist entity.
Antifa is going to be designated a domestic terrorist organization.
The president intends to sign that executive.
border very soon, as it's drafted as soon as today, later this afternoon. And this is something
the president campaigned on, because we have seen a rise in violence perpetuated by Antifa
radical people across this country who subscribed to this group. And unfortunately, it's gone
widely uncovered by many in the legacy media. It also went completely ignored by the previous
administration, not anymore. Not only, as you mentioned, were the bullet casings,
subscribe with Antifa mottos, if you will, in the heinous assassination of Charlie.
But there have also been more examples than I could read off for you here in this briefing room today of violence from Antifa.
I will just read a few. In July 2025, several members of an Antifa cell ambushed and open fire on officers at an ice facility in Alvarado, Texas, shooting one officer in the neck.
Also, in July 2025, three Antifa members were charged with assaulting a police officer during a violence.
riot outside an ice facility in Portland, which for weeks prior had been under siege from the
local Antifa terror cell. In February 2024, a transgender Antifa terrorist detonated an explosive
device outside of the office of the Republican Attorney General of Alabama. In July,
2023, Antifa members linked to abortionist group Jane's revenge, firebombed pro-life
facilities and vandalized churches. In January, 2022, a suspected Antifa
member was arrested for bringing a pipe bomb to a pro-Trump event. In January 2021, an Antifa supporter
threatened to shoot police officers and Trump supporters outside of the Florida State Capitol
building. Again, I could continue to list many more examples for those in the room who don't
believe this is a serious threat to American safety and our national security, but this administration
knows that it is. That's why the president will be signing this order. And we will also be most
importantly looking at who is funding Antifa and who is funding these other violent left-wing
groups that we've seen perpetuate so much crime and mayhem across our country.
The executive order directs Trump administration officials to investigate and thwart,
quote, any and all illegal operations, end quote, allegedly carried out by members of Antifa
and to pursue people who, quote, fund such operations, and quote, or provide material support
to them. Now, at the moment, things are still a bit unclear, following the page,
Act in 9-11, the president does have a series of powers that allow him to direct federal security
forces into threats both internal and external. However, traditionally, it has been Congress
itself that has labeled organizations as terrorist entities. This is something that has yet to be
challenged by any kind of organization on the legal stance, because then that would likely have
to be Antifa on behalf of themselves, therefore admitting they are an entity, which
kind of dispels what a lot of Trump opponents say,
isn't an organization that exists at all.
Kind of an interesting legal catch-22, one might say.
And late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has been unsuspended by Disney,
according to a statement yesterday from the Walt Disney Company,
quote, last Wednesday we made the decision to suspend production on the show
to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country.
It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive.
We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday, that being today.
According to internal documents and those familiar with the conversations, Kimmel was canceled by the Walt Disney company and preempted by individuals at organizations like Nextar and Sinclair, because he had planned to double down on prior comments about the identity, political affiliations, and motivations of,
the killer of Charlie Kirk, that being Tyler Robinson currently in custody in Utah.
Speaking of acts of political violence related to this situation over the weekend,
Sinclair announced that while they would continue to air ABC Network programming is scheduled
in the late night time period on Friday, the Charlie Kirk special, which they had
originally announced to take Jimmy Kimmel Live's place, would instead be placed on the
National News Desk YouTube channel.
quote, ensuring viewers can continue to enjoy ABC programming while also providing full access to the special online.
According to the New York Post, as well as reporting from the Post-Millennial,
several Sinclair ABC affiliate stations had been the recipient of various violent threats in outrage over the Jimmy Kimmel suspension.
Over the weekend in Sacramento, California, Al Hernandez-Santana,
fired several shots, according to federal authorities,
into an ABC affiliate in Sacramento,
though the lobby was reportedly empty.
He didn't hit anyone, thank God.
And while the local authorities say the motive is currently unknown,
a closer look at Al Hernandez-Santana's social media
shows a lot of agitation against both Charlie Kirk,
other individuals on the right,
and encourages heart attacks and various kinds of violence
that we're not going to repeat here on the top news in 10.
Now, Hernandez Santana was released on bail hours after his arrest, again, as a reminder, for
firing shots into an ABC affiliate in Sacramento and was then promptly arrested by the FBI for
violating various federal crimes. And last but not least, an FDA study on a link between
gestational Tylenol use and autism was announced at Charlie Kirk's memorial service from the
president on Sunday. Yesterday, the president as well as RFK Jr. and Dr. Mehmet Oz took the podium
before a group of press individuals to talk a little bit about the link between Tylenol or
acetaminophen during pregnancy use and possible links to autism developing in young children.
In a later statement on Monday, FDA Commissioner Martin McCarrie tempered Trump's comments
somewhat acknowledging that there's not necessarily been a proven causal relationship, saying,
quote, in the spirit of patient safety and prudent medicine, clinicians should consider
minimizing the use of acetaminopin during pregnancy for routine low-grade fevers.
This consideration should also be balanced with the fact that acetaminopin is the safest
over-the-counter alternative in pregnancy among all analgesics and antipyretics.
Now, earlier this month, around September 5th, when these reports initially hit the media,
Kenview incorporated the parent company to Tylenol, their stock closed at a 9.4% total loss.
That's the worst in the company's history.
Today, after the press conference, they fell 7.5% after asserting that the medicine was perfectly safe.
Elizabeth Mitchell, the Daily Signals White House correspondent, asked the president if this might change the federal government's suggestions regarding the vaccine schedule and other suggestions to parents over the next.
couple of years as these studies continued.
You've been talking about reducing autism by spacing out vaccines.
Right, correct.
Would you like the other combined vaccines received to be spaced out like in the
I would say yes, but that just is, for me, it's a lot of common sense involved in this.
It's a process, but we're looking, but it should at least be given separately.
Now, it's possible that you can reduce them and give it, I'd give them in small doses,
but it's possible maybe in that particular case, the MMR wouldn't work in small doses,
but you can certainly give them a separate shots.
It's been proven to be very safe when you give them in separate shots instead of mixing.
So I don't think there's any reason to do that.
Do you agree with it?
I'm not a doctor, but I'm giving them my opinion.
I don't think there's any reason to do that.
So it's been proven to be safe when you break them up.
But MMR by itself, I've heard bad things about it for many years.
Yes, please.
RFK Jr. also took questions as to whether this was a finessexious.
phenomenon of a certain medical diagnoses in general or whether this had to do with a direct causal
relationship.
Mr. I'm curious as you look at the trend lines, how much of this is the causation of
acetaminin and how much is sort of better diagnosis, doctors, researchers having a better
understanding of what, you know, is on the autism spectrum.
Do you want to do that?
Sure, go ahead.
that's one of the canards that has been promoted by the industry for many years that it's changed
diagnostic criteria better recognition and but there's been study after study on of that
that completely debunks that one of them by the mind institute at u.c davis university of
California um but also it's just common sense because you're only seeing this
in people who are under 50 years of age.
If it were better in recognition or diagnosis, you'd see it in a 70-year-old men.
I've never seen this happening in people my age.
I've never seen a case of full-blown autism, and that means profound autism.
I want to be very careful.
Head-banging, stimming, toe-walking, non-verbal, non-toiletrain.
I've never in my life.
seen a 70-year-old man who looks like that.
You're only seeing it in a kid.
It's an epidemic.
