And this is the Daily Signals, Top News, and 10. President Donald Trump is showing support for his Attorney General Pam Bondi. who is under fire for her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

In a long, true social post Saturday, Trump said that Bondi is doing a fantastic job. The president added, we have a perfect administration, the talk of the world, and selfish people are trying to hurt it all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein, for years.

It's Epstein over and over again. Trump also suggested in his post, that Epstein files were created by leftists. He wrote, Why are we giving publicity to files written by Obama, crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and the losers and criminals of the Biden administration, who conned the world with the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax, 51 intelligence agents, the laptop from hell, and more. They created the Epstein files, just like they created the fake Hillary Clinton, Christopher Steele dossier,

that they used on me, and now my so-called friends are playing right into their hands. Trump also called on the MAGA movement to focus on other matters rather than the Epstein documents. He wrote, we are saving our country and making America great again, which will continue to be our complete priority. The left is imploding. Cash Patel and the FBI must be focused on investigating voter fraud, political corruption, Act Blue, the rigged and stolen election of 2020, and arresting thugs and criminals, instead of spending month after month looking at nothing, but the same old radical left-inspired documents on Jeffrey Epstein. Let Pam Bondi do her job. She's great. Elon Musk posted on X in response to another post about Trump's true social comments,

writing, just release the files as promised. In another ex post, Musk wrote, What the hell kind of system are we living in if thousands of kids were abused? The government has videos of the abusers, and yet none of the abusers are even facing charges. Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem defended the Trump administration's response to the Texas flood Sunday. Here's what she said on Meet the Press. Within just an hour or two after the flooding, we had resources from the Department of Homeland Security there helping those individuals in Texas. It was a heartbreaking scene.

And I think it's been well covered about what the Coast Guard did, how they were deployed immediately and helped rescue so many individuals from those floodwaters. And we had Border Patrol down there with their tactical teams. And FEMA was there just within a few hours as well. So those claims are false. they're from people who won't put their name behind those claims. And those call centers were fully staffed and responsive. And this was the fastest, I believe, in years, maybe decades that FEMA has been deployed to help individuals in this type of a situation. Noam also reacted to a decision by a U.S. District judge in California that temporarily halts the Trump administration's ability to do

ice rates. Federal judge in Los Angeles temporarily blocked ice raids in Southern California saying that federal agents cannot target people without reasonable suspicion and using factors like skin color, the language that people speak. Will you comply with the judge's order? Absolutely, but we've never done that. We've never done that. What we have always done is built a case and done investigative work in who we go after and who we target. And so this judge is ridiculous and the fact that he put forward a decision like this, we will appeal it and we will win it because over and over again, when our ICE officers are out there, getting the worst of the worst off of our streets, they're using the investigative backgrounds and information that they have from either criminal records

or what they have for charges or individuals who are breaking our federal laws that need to be brought to justice. In an interview with his daughter-in-law in Fox News host, Laura Trump, President Donald Trump, recalled what exactly happened when he was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024. Sunday marked the one-year anniversary of that date. Well, we are at the anniversary of your Butler rally, where Eric and I, along with Luke and Carolina, watched on live television as so many people across the country and really the world did when there was the assassination attempt on you.

And as we come to this moment, I'm thinking back to what happened right after that. You actually called all of us on the phone. And it was amazing to me that that was what you thought to do, that you wanted us to know that you were okay. And I know that's a moment none of us will ever forget, and I'm sure for you, you know, tenfold. Well, it was unforgettable. I didn't know exactly what was going on. I got a whack.

There was no question about that. And fortunately got down quickly. And people were screaming and I got down quickly, fortunately, because I think they shot eight bullets. And one got me. And one got another one, and one got another one. And one killed Corey, the firefighter, great guy. And, you know, we had a tremendous, massive crowd.

Tens of thousands of people were there. And our sniper, within less than five seconds, was able to get him from a long distance with one shot. If he didn't do that, you would have had an even worse situation. It was really bad. But he really did a fan. His name is David, and he did a fantastic job. It went about his business.

Less than just about four seconds. And that's when it all stopped, and he got him perfectly from a very long distance. So we got a little bit lucky in that regard. Laura Trump also mentioned that the president had called her and other family members almost immediately after the shooting, a shooting she had just witnessed on live TV. Senator Rand Paul, who chairs the Senate Homeland Security Committee, issued a new report on the Butler shooting Sunday. In a statement, he said, what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania, was not just a tragedy. It was a scandal. The United States Secret Service failed to act on credible intelligence, failed to coordinate with local law enforcement,

and failed to prevent an attack that nearly took the life of a then-former president. Paul added, Despite those failures, no one has been fired. And we only know what little discipline was handed out because I issued a subpoena. That's unacceptable. This was not a single lapse in judgment. It was a complete breakdown of security at every,

level, fueled by bureaucratic indifference, a lack of clear protocols, and a shocking refusal to act on direct threats. We must hold individuals accountable and ensure reforms are fully implemented so this never happens again. One of the key findings of the report was that the Secret Service rejected or never acted on 10 requests for more security resources by the Trump campaign.
