Starting point is 00:00:05 Oh, but anyway, so at this, like, Flamingo encounter, like, they got, we got to pet all these flamingos and feed them. We're doing Flamingo encounters, guys. Yeah, do this where we're at. And there was like a part, like, Jack's kids are so, so spoken smart. They're just asking these really pointed questions. Like, wait, wait, wow, the outside's pink. How come the black feathers?
Starting point is 00:00:23 Like, what's up with those? And the guy's like, man, great question. These are their flight feathers. Touch them how they feel different. And then was it your younger son? Yeah. Yeah, he touched it. And the avian, you know, sort of guide was like, what does that feel?
Starting point is 00:00:35 feel like. He goes, it feels AI generated. Which the fuck knows what that even means. And then my kid touches it too. And then he's like, what does it feel like to you? And my kid's going, it feels AI generated. But it's like, cold old baby voice. He's like,
Starting point is 00:00:51 he's like, AI Gendering. What do you know about AI generated? Meanwhile. He knows what the big boys now. Meanwhile, Aqua. There was a flamingo that was biting my, eating my kid's hair. Yeah, came at me, first of all, and I took that personal, but that, that, that Flamingo knows a beta when he sees one. He came in the yard and immediately got within an inch of my ear and was just staring me down. He didn't even have to stand on any legs. Yeah, exactly. So let me bring myself down. Doing the xenomorph to Ripley in the shower.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Yeah, exactly. And I was doing the Ripley the whole time. I had my eyes closed and I was like trying not to make a sound, but I was crying. I was crying. a little bit. I posted a photo of it. It's right. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you can see it on that. No, and then it was eating my kids' hair in the back, but he didn't notice.
Starting point is 00:01:46 I think he just thought like his hair was being played with. Yeah. It's like, this is what AI feels like. When they eat your hair. This is an IHeart podcast. Guaranteed human. Get Bell, Pure Fiber Internet with Crave, Netflix, and Disney Plus. From $94 a month, price.

Hello, the internet, and welcome to season 448, episode 3 of Daily Zekeyes! Yeah! I got the whole resort stopped and turned around. Yeah. When we did that.
Starting point is 00:04:29 This is a production of IHeartRadio. This is a podcast where you take a deep dive into America's shared consciousness through the day's news. We also have a new non-news history version of the Daily Zekeyes drive it each Monday morning where you do a deep dive into the zeitgeist through the lens of a different icon. Last week we did Bjorke, Bjorke, the layman. This week we did David Lynch, a very normal person. Very normal, made very normal films. Very, very interesting.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Show your grandparents, Blue Velvet. Do a vibe check with your grandparents. I feel like they're the ones who watched it because that's when it came out. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But just one more time. I'm sure that people who avoided it, they're like, I heard him. I watched it recently, and I was like, what the fuck were these freeze-up? That was just what the 80s were like, Pahlavi.
Starting point is 00:05:21 That was just... Yeah. You can show your grandparents, Mulholland Drive. They're kind of the hero of that film, The Elderly. You know, they have a nice little cameo at the end. Very, hated a very interesting. It's Wednesday, July, 27th. 22nd, 2026.
Starting point is 00:05:40 July 22nd, 2026. Guess who doesn't have that loaded up because he's on vacation mode? It's vacation day. Let's just go with that. July 22. It's casual pie day, like PI, the mathematical concept or whatever you say for that. It's Mango Day. Why would it be casual?
Starting point is 00:05:58 I'll tell you why. It's, uh, every song. Because, oh, using the fraction 22 over 7 as its approximate value. Oh. I want the real shit or nothing at all. 314 or bust, freak. Yeah. March 14th.
Starting point is 00:06:15 So it says dive into the world of numbers. Bake a delicious pie. I knew a dude who worked at JPL, like a literal rocket scientist. They used to play pickups soccer with. He would have a pie day party every day and he was the most amazing pie baker. Yeah. But he took it seriously and there'd be always like other rocket scientists, but a fantastic pie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:35 That's how nerds are. They like bake pie. with different numbers on them and shit. Yeah, you got to. You got to. And pie is circle, you know? P-I-E is circle. And then pie.
Starting point is 00:06:48 That's so true. If you think about it, though, pie is a circle. Dude, and I will not. And they're doing, like, shit with the ratio when they're cutting it, or the radius is what I meant. Anyways, I'm going to stop talking about mass.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Diameter. Diameter and shit. And when you circumference about it, though. Diambeter Math Fuck boy Diambiter All he's playing a math
Starting point is 00:07:12 fuck boy Boeys And when you When you take the perimeter Is that not just The circumference Exactly Anyways
Starting point is 00:07:21 My name is Jack O'Brien A.K. Don't go Jump in Butthole first Just stick to the pool edges And shallows You're used to
Starting point is 00:07:32 That one Courtesy of Oh shit I fucked up. I didn't look it up. Ah, fuck. This thing sticks like shit. This thing stinks like shit.
Starting point is 00:07:44 We're pretending to be professional podcasters. We can't. We can't do that. Shout out to a engineer Brees. Who has to be in this session and constantly, what the fuck is the whole of these people? Are you dangling your feet in the kiddie pool?
Starting point is 00:08:00 What is happening? I rode a water slide to this recording, Pollyvi. I believe that one was. Courtesy of snarfeel, I will correct that if that's incorrect, but that is a song that I was singing to Miles before and after he jumped D. Hall first. I'm thrilled to be joined as always by my co-host, Mr. Miles Gray. Miles Gray, aka, that's me in the water.
Starting point is 00:08:28 My acid and land right thought I ripped my taint up. now I'm afraid to poo and I don't know if I can do it yep and I did it's okay you did I did yeah yeah how's it healing Frankenmore for that I feel like I'm missing some core lore A little bit of lore
Starting point is 00:08:51 Here's a little bit of lore for you They've worried for your butthole They've got two little cliffs You can dive off into this diving pool I had to I got excited I wouldn't call them little Neither would your butt hole Yeah that's true
Starting point is 00:09:03 That's definitely true. I jumped in. I tried to pencil dive. And at the last second, my weight shifted back. So I landed like taint down into the water and the surface tension just cracked me like a truck. Yeah. Ass down, legs up.
Starting point is 00:09:18 That's the way I like to fall. That's the way I like to splash. We're thrilled to be joined in our third seat by a hilarious stand-up comedian, writer, actor, improviser. Not above poisoning miles, but didn't. do it. This would have been the time to do it. Yeah. I hired the cliff. Yeah. Next time I go, he said,
Starting point is 00:09:41 The cliff is a paid actor. Next time I jump in, it's like written on the bottom of the pool. Pallavi says hi. It's Pallonium, Pallavi, Gunaway. Hello. Hello. Hello. Did you get coming to you from sunny California? Did you get Lindsey Graham? Was that you? Was that your work.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Listen, in the queer community, we don't like to out people's murders. We don't like to out the LGBT wrongs. Wouldn't be right. Wouldn't be right. Wouldn't be right. Also, joining us in our fourth seat. In our fourth seat.
Starting point is 00:10:20 As always, down here, lounging with us in the resort mindset. It's super producer Ana Hosnia. Oh, no. Hello. She's just chilling. But we're like, well, don't just sit over there. Wait, so sorry. Did we upload those first files yet?
Starting point is 00:10:44 And this is staying in the show. No, we didn't. Okay. We do. Is that going to hurt the recording? Okay, can we upload those? Thank you. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:10:53 We got that out. No, no, don't know. It was scripted? No, I have to just, I forgot to get those for Brian. That's the most producer-ass shit. Okay, thank you. Sorry. So sorry.
Starting point is 00:11:01 That's all right. No, we're good. Always fucking big time in us. I'm like, hey, can you stop talking? Hey, can you shut the fuck up real quick? I got to figure something up. I know. For your little show.
Starting point is 00:11:13 Your little fucking show, no one's going to hear. For your fucking hobby. I did. Look, the editor needs the files. Yeah, yeah. No, no, no. Brian gets really mean if he doesn't get the files in a timely matter. Brian is a grouch.
Starting point is 00:11:26 That's what he's like Oscar the Grouch. Brian, the grouch. He's just in his little garbage can. We got to feed him the files. Yeah. Paul, if you were thrilled to have you here, we're going to get to know you a little bit better in a moment. First, we're going to tell the listeners a couple of the things we're talking about today. We're talking about the latest in the diarrhea news. Yes. Taco Bell's foot traffic down following diarrhea news.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Just picture that headline spinning towards you in a historical movie. Butz are taking a hit all over. They are, man. It's a theme. It's a theme. It's a theme. We're going to talk about flock cameras. Walk-up flock. They're good. They're very good.
Starting point is 00:12:06 They keep us safer. Yeah. Who doesn't want just computer eyes all over the place, keeping you and your family safer? Real eyes, realize computer eyes. Yes. And then we're going to talk about AI ruining bird watching. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:12:21 I know. That's something actually near and dear to your heart. Too mine. You mean drone watching? That's what, like, I live so far in the future that we just, called drones birds. You know? It's just how much shit has changed.
Starting point is 00:12:36 What year are you in? 2026. Same like you guys. Damn. And then a just like three days later. Right. All right. It's three days in the future.
Starting point is 00:12:48 You guys don't even know. Pallavi, we do like to ask our guests. What is something from your search history that's revealing about who you are? If you don't know me by now. Something in my search history, I looked up what the real name of Angela from Boy Meets World is because they're doing that podcast with, what is it, Danielle Fischel, the brother. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And Hunter Strong or Rider Strong. Hunter, Hunter, Ryder, Strong with her gatherer. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Riter and Strong. And, yeah, her name is Trina McGee, which I thought. was a very funny name for a person. Wait, who is Angela? Angela, the black girlfriend who was like, you were shot in Angela and they should have ended up together and fuck Corey and Depanga. You know what they? Wow.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Yeah, I forgot about that. Trina McGee. Trina McGee. It's not a silly name. Yeah. That was a stage name. She's gorgeous as always. What is she up to?
Starting point is 00:13:52 Do you know what's up with her? She was in like a few different things. She, I don't know. I think like the main thing. she's known for as Boy Meets World but she does. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:04 Sounds like she should be starring in some limericks with that name. Yeah. She was actually in the bird cage. She had a role in the bird cage. I'm looking at all kinds of interesting. Martin.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Martin. The Sinbad show, Boy Meets World. Okay. Okay. Yeah. And you're just like waiting for her to appear on the,
Starting point is 00:14:23 on the podcast? I just, I was like, I think I just loved her so much. And like, she's so, like, that relationship is so beloved. Like, I remember the episode where he, like, finds her purse and, like, goes through it and, like, falls in love. And I was like, uh, so I just was like, what is she up to?
Starting point is 00:14:41 Yeah. Like, how do I get them back together? Because he took her purse and started going through her shit? Yeah, no, they have, like, like, were reading the same book. They had, like, a ticket to something he loved, like, and like, it was. It was real YA novel. Yeah, it was like the yearning was like. unmatched.
Starting point is 00:15:01 So I was just like, I was like, I want them to be together in real life. Yeah. I do think that we probably skipped past him going through her shit a little too quickly. I feel like it's weird. I remember when he was dating, but I just,
Starting point is 00:15:16 I feel like after the third season, that's when I kind of stopped watching that show. I watched everything. I watched the college years. Oh, shit. Yeah, I watched the whole thing. No, okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Yeah. way after boy has already met World, you were still hooked. Yeah. Boy has met Girl. Boy has met World. World has decided boy should not run for any political office in Hollywood. So she was on the show with them talking? Did she come on?
Starting point is 00:15:46 No, no, she wasn't. Oh, you were just thinking about it. Because it was three of them. And like, Ben Savage won't do the show because he's weird. And like I was just, I just, they were talking about like for them endgame was for those three actors, they were like, yeah, honestly, Corey and Topanga shouldn't have ended up together and Angela
Starting point is 00:16:04 and so I was like, what happened to Angela? Yeah, right, right. What happened? It was just too ahead of its time for interracial relationships. It's kind of crazy that it was a thing. Yeah, that was nuts. But that was the era where they would have black characters
Starting point is 00:16:20 and white characters dating each other, and it was like clearly written by white people. Yeah. And then like everyone, they would always write these weird, there was always somebody having some close-minded-ass response to it. Like there was always a character, if there was a narrative about an inter-rational, they'd be like,
Starting point is 00:16:35 huh? With her? Well, I don't know if that should happen. They come from a different part of town. Dawson's Creek. Yeah, it was like, yeah, I remember, they're like, it's just black girlfriend. And you're like, she has a name. Or like, Zach and Lisa on Saved by the Bell had like a little moment.
Starting point is 00:16:55 And it was so sweet. and then they were like, we can't do this. Break it up. I was like, why can't you do this? No, no, no, she gets the dork. Get Kapowski in here. Kelly, you, Zach, now. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Also, shout out to, you know, Mark Paul Gosseler, Asian icon. Yeah, very few people. I feel like, I remember when I found that out, I was like, I should have fucking known this when I was a kid watching this shit. Instead, I'm telling people they're lying. Because he's, uh, he's Asian. What? Yeah, you didn't know that?
Starting point is 00:17:26 Wait, I think. I think I might have. Paula is freaking out, you guys. Wait. Yeah. Yeah. What? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:32 Wait, what? If I had to choose between Zach and Slater, I probably would have guessed Slater would have some. How Asian is he? How Asian is he? Dutch Indonesian born in Bali. He was born in Bali? No, his mother is Dutch Indonesian. But Mark Paul Gosseler identifies as half Asian.
Starting point is 00:17:55 Oh. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I don't know, because I think he was on like, D-E-I, saying by the bell. No, you know what it was? I think he was on like Asian AF or something at UCB or something,
Starting point is 00:18:04 like one of those comedy shows. And he showed up and I was like, huh? Wait a second. That's so nuts. Zach Morris? The most blonde-haired ass dude. But then when you look, you're like, oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:16 I see it. Yeah. They had to dye his blonde hair to keep it a secret. Yeah, yeah. There are so many white people that look a little bit Asian and then they're not. and then you're like, and now this is like the reverse, the secret undercover Asian.
Starting point is 00:18:31 Right. and yeah, you be like, I've done that before. I go, hey, man, are you, are you Asian? think is underrated? Okay, so I was just doing comedy in the South. Like, I had never been to do comedy in, like, Birmingham and Atlanta and Louisville and, like, Memphis and Nashville.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Oh, we were just talking about Tennessee. Fucking nice. It was so nice. It was so nice down there. The shows were so fun. People were so nice. And it was, like, beautiful. And I was, like, driving through this, like, what did I say? Like, mountain, whatever. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:19:23 this shit, makes me feel patriotic. Like, you know what I, when it's just like the land and nice people, you're like, yeah, I do love America. You know. Jack said the exact same shit. I was just saying this shit because I was just in Tennessee. And it's so nice.
Starting point is 00:19:38 It's so pretty. I was standing up to my knees in a river. It was beautiful. Oh my God. We went up to. That was a port of potty. We went up to a cabin and these two puppies like ran out to Greece. us. They'd gotten out of like the neighbors
Starting point is 00:19:56 or whatever and then we just hung out with them for hours and like it was so beautiful. We could feel the stars. I'm on a salvage mission. So the reason this came up before is because on yesterday's trending, we were talking about a story where a Memphis restaurateur
Starting point is 00:20:12 Miles. Tamboli. Tamboli. That's not. Is that a real name? Yeah. Tamboli's Poster and pizza. It does sound like a name Miles made up. A little bit Asian. But a little bit, a little bit. He was refusing to serve the National Guard for, you know, being fascist and killing people.
Starting point is 00:20:31 And everyone was like, oh, in Tennessee, not Tennessee Buster, not Tennessee, pal. You're in trouble. The right's going to flip out. And actually, like, everybody's, like, going to his restaurant now. That's nice. So I'm just saying, like, let's use this as a foothold. Let's take that to the South. Yeah, there's good people everywhere.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Yeah. Next week or next, next, next theme week, Tennessee. week. Tennessee week. Let's do it. Zite, gang. I know one of you guys has like a 7,000 foot haul. I do think we should do like offsite.
Starting point is 00:21:01 Like this has been interesting because there's just so much stimulus. Yeah, yeah, sure. Everybody come through. We'll get a big RV. We'll go across the land. That's right. Leave our kids behind. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:13 They're powering the RV. With their tiny little Flintstone feet at the bottom. Yeah. Their hot AI takes. Yeah. Palvi, what is something you think is overrated? Well, now this is silly, but I was going to say,
Starting point is 00:21:30 resorts, I'm totally fine not being there with you guys. Like, I don't even, I'm not even jealous a little bit. I don't care about your fun drinks and pinia colladas. You don't want to be here, man. You're going to hurt your butt on the most fun slides ever. It's really, really dangerous, actually. I don't want to be around people who are so, like, relaxed and rich and stuff and just, like,
Starting point is 00:21:51 chilling and have the best time of their lives. I think it's stupid. I want to be of the earth. Yeah, that's right. In the, in the different parts of towns and not on a, not on a friggin people zoo. So there's that. You don't want to do a total stranger. So I don't even care.
Starting point is 00:22:09 On the elevator and just, you're just both like, pretty nice, huh? Yeah, pretty nice. Yeah, you both just like getting massages and doing the sauna and the most relaxed you've ever been in your life. That's tomorrow, actually. Massage tomorrow. Yeah. God damn it. You got I'm a little tight from the water stuff therapy.
Starting point is 00:22:27 The resort burns down. Oh, no. I'm so sorry. I know who did this. I'm a little type from the water slide where you need. They close you in a capsule. They close you in a capsule and then you don't know how long it's going to be. Oh, there's a water slide?
Starting point is 00:22:48 So there's a water slide where they close you in something that. It's like a phone booth. Some people would say phone booth if they're really old. I don't even know what those are. But it's like a phone booth that has water running down the back of it. It's like a photo booth. And then either like one second later or five seconds later, depending, the floor just drops out from underneath you.
Starting point is 00:23:07 And there is, I was experiencing some dark night of the soul. I was like, Jesus. Yeah, if you're in a water slide too long, it feels like a K-hole. Yeah. Yeah, because sometimes that are so long, you think you're going up when you're going down. Those are disorienting. But I like it. Yeah. Okay. But see clear. So we have problems too.
Starting point is 00:23:27 You're choosing to do that over and over again. Yeah. Yeah. He's just right. He's like, I almost died. And then he runs back up. The lifeguard who like runs it. He's like, hey, don't cut these people again, man. He's like, sorry, sorry. He was just taking too long, kid. Why is that guy from cracks cutting the lawn? Sorry, got to run from jacked and tight.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Gotta get to the front. I have an idea. I have a badge of some sort. It's an empty chip bag. Talking to people in line about water slits. You're like tricking children. What's over there? Yeah. I like to ask everybody else what their experiences are with this water slide. Other water slides, other fun water slides.
Starting point is 00:24:05 You're going to make a great elderly man at a fast food restaurant. Oh, man, I'm already there. All right. What were you saying, by the way? Did you have something? Oh, yeah. Anna, you're about to say something. Hey, how about you over there?
Starting point is 00:24:15 You got something to not say anything. I thought you were about to say something, though, when we were talking. Oh, you were saying that Jack is choosing. to keep going on these water slides and having these dark experiences. Maseko. He's working stuff out in there. Somebody's like, you know, I've done ayahuasca and he's like, well, I've been
Starting point is 00:24:32 down the slide in the box. I've been down devil's backbone. Oh, interesting. That's what's called. That's a good name. All right. Let's take a quick break, shall we? And then we'll come back and talk about Taco Bell. Mayhaps. We'll be right back. Get Bell, Pure Fiber Internet
Starting point is 00:24:53 with Crave, Netflix, and Disney Plus. From $94 a month, price guarantee. for two years on internet with a two-year term and auto pay credit. Then we sit down for a real conversation. I've shared a slice with everyone from Seth. Rollins. What are you doing my belt? To Alex Rodriguez. Just to let you people know, we're talking to one of the goats here.
Starting point is 00:25:33 To Bill Burke. I don't think I've ever met somebody so exactly out of their mind as I am. And now, we even have more great guests coming up, including the great John Tuturo. It's called happiness. Delivering Happiness. Mariano Rivera. Oh my God. And many, many
Starting point is 00:25:49 more. Open your free high heart radio app. Search Delivering Happiness with Nick Totoro. And listen now. What's up, fam? I'm sports journalist Ari Chambers. Hey, what's up y'all? It's your girl, Sam J. And we're the host of everyone watches women's sports, a new podcast from Together and I Heart Women's Sports. Because let's be real. Women's sports is giving us way too much to talk about these days. So Kelsey Finler, she became the first female solo roer to go from California to Hawaii. My first thought
Starting point is 00:26:17 is like, what's up with the snacks? Like, what are we eating? The highlights, the rivalries, the breakout stars, the moments that take over your entire timeline. And the conversations, that start during the game and somehow keep going all week. Every week, we're breaking down the biggest stories across women's sports. Naomi Osaka showing out. She beat Sabalinka.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Shout out to you, Naomi. You get the palm, Naomi. You get the palm for that. Because we're not just interested in what happened. We're interested in why everyone's talking about it. Because everyone watches women's sports. Listen to everyone watches women's sports. On the I-Heart radio app.
Starting point is 00:26:50 Apple podcast or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, Portlandia fans. Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen here. You know us, or rather you know them. Tony and Candace, Nina and Lance, Spike, and yes, The Chicken. We've played a lot of iconic characters over the years, but today we're showing up as ourselves to tell you about Podlandia, AEO rewatch, our brand new podcast. Each week we'll revisit an episode of Portlandia from the very beginning,
Starting point is 00:27:17 breaking down the sketches, exploring the backstories of our most iconic characters, revisiting the Portland locations you know and love, and opening up about our creative process. How did any of this get made? Why do we think that was a good idea? We're ready to talk about it. And we'll also be joined by the people who helped bring it all to life. Guest stars, collaborators, and friends, including director Jonathan Chrysall, the mayor himself, Kyle McLaughlin,
Starting point is 00:27:41 legendary musician Amy Mann, and many more. Kyle is going for it here. You fully improvised, not just words, but a song, a melody. I thought he was going to write. I thought you were all going to write a song. I remember you thinking that. Listen to Podlandia. Ayo, Rewatch, on the I Heart Rate.
Starting point is 00:27:58 radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And we're back. We're back. And we're back. And we're back. Hey, have you guys heard about this Taco Bell thing? You just can't stop talking about it. We are covering this like 9-11.
Starting point is 00:28:21 9-11 had happened on our show. Like when our show was alive. That is the amount of times that we've gone back. These people are on the absolute wrong side of history in this period. There were so many other things happening. They were fixated on Taylor Farm. Iceberg lettuce diarrhea. Look, the people want to know.
Starting point is 00:28:39 I do. There's another wrinkle in this story. Yeah. So the Trump administration is getting defensive about the claims that we made yesterday, specifically, that they colluded with major GOP donor Bruce Taylor to absolve Taylor Farms of responsibility for the recent cyclosporiasis outbreak with HHS,
Starting point is 00:29:05 calling it fake news or fake news on social media. And so people, we're starting to see. They're just denying it. They don't have any real. They're just like, no, ah. No, fake news is basically they're just like, I don't know. I thought if there was something contentious. Time coming up with a lie.
Starting point is 00:29:24 The thing that I did read, though, was that the FDA, I think they came out and they're like, we never fucking apologize to them. They said that. Oh, yeah, I keep reading misinformation about this shit. Yeah, the FDA came out. I was like, we did not apologize to them. There was a false positive. The Taylor Farms?
Starting point is 00:29:41 Yeah. Because Taylor Farms was like, and they were like, we're so sorry, dude. And then they're sucking my dick, didn't they? They're sucking our dick over here. Sorry. Sorry, Bahama. Oh, did it's a program. What were they doing in there?
Starting point is 00:29:59 They were talking about Taco Bell diarrhea and some executive being filleted. I don't know. I don't know. The government was saying the FTA. These are housewives? Hey, we're just reading the tea leaves here. You know what I'm saying? What real housewives show was that?
Starting point is 00:30:19 So we're also starting to see the results trickle in or blast in. So Taco Bell, we mentioned this, I think. One person went viral for visiting the restaurant and posting photos on social media arguing. I'm sorry. I got thrown off when you called it a restaurant. I don't know it's a restaurant, but I don't think of it as a restaurant in my head. And it's my favorite. It's a eatery.
Starting point is 00:30:45 What do you think of it? Just like a poison hut. Fucking Taco Bell. That's funny. Because it's not even like what he said, what kind of cuisine needs to be like, dude, it's not Mexico. It's Taco Bell. It's like its own thing. Taco Bell.
Starting point is 00:30:57 Which is technically, and I will, I've said this a million times. To me, it's Indian food. Indian people love Taco Bell. It's a core part of our culture. Really? And I will say it over and over again When they took away the Mexican pizza, that was a hate crime against my people.
Starting point is 00:31:10 What is it about the Taco Bell that speaks to South Asians? I don't fucking know, but we love that shit. It's in our veins. I love that. It is one of the best, like they have some of the best vegetarian options, I'd say, of any of the American restaurants. Just avoid the lettuce right now.
Starting point is 00:31:27 But, so, yes, somebody tweeted that their dad reshaping, to them and was like, watch out for Taco. I know you enjoy Taco Bell. Watch out. I've read this news story. I listen to this podcast, The Daily Zeitgeist, and they've covered it eight days in a row. It's got to be bad. And they
Starting point is 00:31:47 usually talk about news. Responded my brother in Christ, the safest time in history to fly was September 12th, 2001. Oh my gosh. Oh, my God. That's valid. That is insane. I don't think it is. This is like, this is like, I work.
Starting point is 00:32:03 We worked in infectious diseases as a research scientist, and every time there was an outbreak of like Zika virus or something, we'd all check flight tickets because we were all like, oh, they're dropping and we don't have fear because we know how to handle infectious diseases. And we know like the rates of- We're going to Brazil? Let's go to Hawaii. I guess no, to Anna's point, and also as this story written by Jan was saying, flights didn't take off again until the 14th. I mean, it would have been probably pretty safe because you would have been the only plane flying. Well, I just mean because now that everyone's terrified of Taco Bell, Taco Bell has to take the steps to get me like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, we're okay. We're making our own lettuce. We're growing it in the bag. You're going to love it.
Starting point is 00:32:49 It's made out of yoga mats. It's a parking lot. Yeah. Lettuce farm now. Taco Bell's foot traffic reportedly dropped by nearly 19% on Friday, which I didn't even know we had stats like that. Yeah, that is definitely. lower than you would expect. Explosive diarrhea headlines.
Starting point is 00:33:08 It's being called the Taco Bell explosive diarrhea story. They are too high to understand what that means. Like I said, I've been saying this from the beginning. I'm not worried about Taco Bell's business because it's part of the brand identity of Taco Bell. It's like, yeah, dude, you ain't gonna shit right for a week. You don't come here if you value shit.
Starting point is 00:33:28 You're talking about, dude. Don't come here for that. Go to Arrow One if you give a fuck. What is the Venn diagram? of people who read the news and people who eat Taco Bell regularly. Yeah. It's just a flat circle in my mind. One on top of the other.
Starting point is 00:33:41 They might not know this is happening. That'd be so funny. I wonder if you ask somebody. You can be an intellectual and still love Taco Bell. Yeah. And that's the 19% that drops. No, no, but I'm saying it would be interesting if you see people like, hey, bro, you know what's going on with like the diarrhea?
Starting point is 00:33:55 And they're like, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's normal. I get mad when I don't have it at Taco Bell. I don't get like, what did they change? I don't get supreme or nothing with lettuce on it anyway, bro. Right. Yeah, just unsupreme that shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:07 And then I wonder if you told someone, they'd be like, what? Oh. So it does give you diarrhea. I knew that, though. All right, thanks, bro. And then they go and get their order. I think America just loves to gamble, you know? They're just like, ah, this is.
Starting point is 00:34:23 Yeah. I have two futures branching out in front of me, depending on. If my health care is shit anyways, let's go all in. That's right. Yeah. Let's empty it out. I don't need a colonic anymore. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:37 But kind of amazingly, and to everybody's point about, like, this not being as big a hit as you would expect for Taco Bell, other chains who aren't, like, named in headlines associated with this story, are also seeing a similar decline. Chopped, Kava, Chipotle, which who the fuck is working lettuce at Chipotle? I guess the salad bowls, yeah, yeah. Panera bread. Bring back the point.
Starting point is 00:35:03 Points in Lemonade. Yeah. Subways, yeah. Again, Panera Bread is like, you come here to die. What are you talking about? You're rolling the dice by coming here. If you drink this, you know that, right? Subway's foot traffic.
Starting point is 00:35:14 It's like if there's a drop in Arby's. Subway's foot traffic fell by 19.2%. Oh, so they took a bigger hit to Taco? It took a bigger hit than Taco Bell. Is that a bigger drop than when the pedophile was there? Oh, Jared. Yeah. I don't have those numbers directly in front of me, but it does seem.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Open up the weird file on your desktop. It's so weird that they have these numbers. Like, I didn't know that they were taking, like, day by day, like, health reports of Taco Bell business and, like, percentage drops from day today today. I mean, their business is at the end of the day. Like, they're going to track that shit. Yeah. The level of, like, advanced technology and, you. you know, all the things that we're like, well, you know, it's, what can we do?
Starting point is 00:36:07 Like, they've probably got AI that actually works, like working for Taco Bell and shit, you know, like the amount of science and like intelligent people who are working for these massive multinational corporations is probably crazy. Yeah. There's like an academic paper that I can't access. That is exactly about how the, how the Jared Fogle scandal affected Papers. patronage of some way. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Yeah. Good. Glad there's like still people that are high in college. Yeah. It's some grad students like thesis somewhere. Yeah. They're like, oh,
Starting point is 00:36:42 dude. Every like silly headline. What's our analysis model for this? I do just want to say because we do, we also are a service oriented podcast. We, we serve our listeners. Quick service podcast.
Starting point is 00:36:54 QSP. Oh, you serve? We serve. We serve. We're serving. Katrina. Katrina. Katrina.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Katrina. Katrina. Katrina. Katrina. We got a deal to tell you about. Whole Foods is selling Taylor Farms Lett it, like it says Taylor Farms on the bag, for 50%.
Starting point is 00:37:13 What the fuck? Are you curious? You want B-grade lettuce? In New York. They're like, hey, they just slapped a 50% on there. They didn't say anything else. That is so funny, because you're going to lose half your bowels. You might as well get 50% off.
Starting point is 00:37:28 Oh, man. Shredded ice bur. Like the very thing. thing that is causing this outbreak. You gotta stop. Just iceberg as a lettuce just fucking sucks. They should have put that 50% sticker over the Taylor Farms, I think, would have been about it. I bet there's, legally you can't do that.
Starting point is 00:37:43 Yeah, that's probably, what's this new cool 50%? Wait, hold on, move that back. This is Diarrhea Farms. No, I'm not having that. Oh, no. Can't do that. Should we talk about flock cameras? These are fun.
Starting point is 00:37:54 These seem fun, Paula. Yeah. Why? Okay, they help solve crimes. More content for stand-ups, right? More content for stand-ups, yeah. Amazing content. Yeah, the number of doorbell cams that we're getting.
Starting point is 00:38:13 Yeah, yeah. Unfortunately, Americans are being accused of crimes they didn't commit and are being tracked by these cameras in a way that makes us all realize that we're living in a surveillance state that, Nobody consented to. The government's obsessed with me. Oh my God. You guys, stop.
Starting point is 00:38:34 It's like, it's be a funny meme. You're like doing a runway walk. You're like me walking by the flock cameras because they're obsessed for me. Or like, you know those TikTokers who like throw a red carpet down in front of like somebody dressed in and make them walk? It's like that, but you walk straight into a jail cell. That feels like something the DNC would do like as like a way to make flock cameras fun. Right.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Yeah, Nancy Pelosi. You're by a flood camera, roll out the carpet, and go, go, go. It's just like paparazzi. They're cameras, but gay. It's fine. Happy bride month. It's surveillance state, but LGBTQ. It's surveillance cunt.
Starting point is 00:39:13 Surveillance. Surveillance slay. I don't know. The police say it's fine. Please say it's fine. I don't know why we're making it. big deal about it. Police, police say it's fine. Flock is saying 20 or 25% of all crime is being solved by flock cameras. What is, okay, really? I feel like their definition of crime, though,
Starting point is 00:39:40 is like anything that people are doing to like survive. Yes. And then, yeah. Yeah. Oh, we tracked this shoplifter who had diapers. Got them. Or it's like, probably like, we've solved the mystery of that guy who took a piss on the back of that building. Get them. Yeah. We've arrested all the unhoused people outside this shelter. You're welcome. And three poorly dressed hipsters that got caught up in the dragnet. Or just people who the flock wrongly identifies.
Starting point is 00:40:12 There's a Kansas police used this information to target a man who wrote a critical op-ed about their department. Oh, the James Dolan method. Yes. I mean, it was a surveillance state to go after my haters. I think there was also a woman who was pulled over. Yeah, a mother of three, a mother and her children were pulled over and held at gunpoint because data from these cameras incorrectly flagged her car as stolen.
Starting point is 00:40:38 Right. So the cameras, like, they use, like, AI and they, like, say that they're just looking at, license plates and, like, bumper stickers and, like, dents in the back to, like, match them to, like, other cars or whatever. But they're so fucking inaccurate. they're just like reporting all these cars of stolen that are not stolen. So like all these people are getting pulled over by the cops.
Starting point is 00:40:58 And they're all Nissan Altimus. Yeah. Yeah. But like LAPD like what LAPD canceled their contract? But it's only because you're like, look, we want to do it. But I think we just have to do it the right way. It's on pause. Apparently it's like supposed to end in like 2027 or something.
Starting point is 00:41:16 But it's on pause right now because of so like it, flock cameras have like a database, and that's a big issue, because, like, other states can, like, access stuff, and things aren't properly categorized. Like, even YouTubers have, like, broken in and gotten access to cameras that were categorized as, like, public IP, and then they were like, and then we fixed it, and now it's fine, and you can't get into the private ones.
Starting point is 00:41:41 But basically, because, like, flight cameras, like, police can, like, work with ice and stuff. Right, sure. Because California is supposed to be better about them. they were like, we promise nobody else is going to have access to the data. And then like hundreds of thousands of like other people of, of, uh, accesses to the data happened by others,
Starting point is 00:42:02 by officers in other states. So they were like, oh, I guess we got to kind of slow down, I guess. And, and then there's supposed to be like a meeting on the 30th that like a city, citywide meeting for people to like weigh in.
Starting point is 00:42:15 In Los Angeles. Yeah. Yeah, in L.A. But people are like getting the contracts like, broken. It's kind of like the data center fight. It reminded me of that where people are like standing up at city councils and being like, fuck this shit. But you really have to fight them.
Starting point is 00:42:28 That is like where the fight for the future is being waged just like at these city council city council meetings. Yeah. Well, it's interesting too because you're seeing people like slowly be radicalized by all this crazy fucking surveillance technology around them where the first they go, there's no way this shit is happening. And they go, no man, I saw one. It's real.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Yeah. And they're like, what? And I feel like, because I have a couple of friends too who like have just always kind of thought like, they're like, dude, you're always worrying about. You're always talking this like wacky shit. And they're like, no, dude, I just saw those things. Yeah, they're freaking me out. And I'm like, good, good, just so you know. I do like how like the only, I like surveillance state when it's on our side. Like I like when Google Maps is like, there's police ahead.
Starting point is 00:43:13 And I'm like, yeah. Yeah. Welcome to the resistance, Google. But that's obviously how it should be used. It's brown people ahead. We're serving both sides. Yeah. We're like, yeah, hell yeah. Technology's got our back.
Starting point is 00:43:27 Officer Armstrong used against us. Way worse. I know, I know. But it's kind of fun. Every time I say, yeah, they're still there. I'm like, I got you. Yeah, yeah, comrade. They're like tricking up.
Starting point is 00:43:40 07 to you, fam. Yeah. All right. Let's have a quick break. We'll come back. We'll talk about one of the. This was like one of the only ways that I thought AI was being used in like a fun, useful way. Bird watching.
Starting point is 00:43:57 It turns out not so much. Turns out it's fucking everything. You blew it. Did we capture that? Do we just pull that as a drop? Dun dun dun dun dun. Clip it. Bird drop.

I don't think I've ever met somebody so exactly out of their mind as I am. And now, we even have more great guests coming up, including the great John Titoro. Starting point is 00:45:31 And we're the host of everyone watches women's sports, a new podcast from Together and I Heart Women's Sports. Because let's be real. Women's sports is giving us way too much to talk about these days. So Kelsey Finler, she became the first female solo roer to go from California to Hawaii. My first thought is, like, what's up with the snacks? Like, what are we eating?

Well, I thought he was going to write. I thought you were all going to write. write a song. I remember you thinking that. Listen to Podlandia.
Starting point is 00:47:26 Ayo rewatch on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And we're back. So there's been a lot of talk online about how Gen Z and some elder millennials even have embraced what are called grandma hobbies. I don't know. I just be fun, young hobbies. I'm fully leaning into all this shit. I'm like, I want to learn how to crochet.
Starting point is 00:47:58 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Embroiter, quilting, jigsaw puzzles, reading. Tangible things with your hands. I've been reading so fucking much. I'm reading like my life depends on it. As a like weird hobby is fucked up.
Starting point is 00:48:13 It is because the literacy rate is crashing. Yeah. It's crazy. People in Love Island don't know how to pronounce words. Oh, hey, then that's the epitome of ignorance. That's the epitome. And we got a promise about it. Rhee was watching.
Starting point is 00:48:27 She knows what about it. That was sincere, wasn't it? That was sincere. But there were so many of them. Also, bro, he was going way too hard on the edges of his hairline. Like, he was trying to frame his face. I'm like, bro, you're fucking up your hairline. Just shaving it back.
Starting point is 00:48:41 So I saw a lot of black barber content where there was like dudes watching with their partners like, pause. Look at this. Who's his barber? You should not be doing that. That is not his natural hairline. He's trying to shape something. And when it grows in two days later, it looks like a weird shadow.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Yeah, you got a five o'clock shadow on your forehead. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm like taking notes. I'm like, okay. All right. So quilting, jigsaw puzzles, reading is thrown in there, needlepoint, and the biggest one. I would throw a movie cinema going in here as like a thing that people are, is making a comeback with the youngs that was supposed to be dead and gone and like fading out. I'm part of the AMC alist.
Starting point is 00:49:26 Right. I get seen your discreet. Well, then thank you so much for your service. I'm a celebrity. I'm part of the A list, and I got all these paparazzi flock cameras, taking pictures of me. So, Jack, your Gen Z based on this, too? Katrina, Katrina, Katrina, Katrina. So I guess you could say I'm a little Gen Z, right, Anna?
Starting point is 00:49:48 You've always said that. Canonically. Very young. A little Gen Z, very cool. No comment. But one of the big ones is bird watching, which has Skyron rocketed in popularity with people age 18 to 24 like myself, meaning that around... Honestly, I support things like this because the world is too sad.
Starting point is 00:50:08 We must look to the skies. You know? It's beautiful. It's amazing. It's like such a great, like, hobby, especially with this app that we're about to talk about. Because this is the app you use. Wasn't this an app you were using? This is an app that I've used that I've been talking about it.
Starting point is 00:50:25 Big old cockatiel titty. Big little cockatiel titty. Big, big titty. And why are they also horny names? You look at his phone, you're like, bro, it doesn't say that at all. Yeah. But you could tell, though, right? You could tell.
Starting point is 00:50:35 Listen, listen to it. A parent discovering their child's notebook, and it's like half of these names with horny birds, yeah. A lot of horny bird names. You're crowned. Dude, proud pro boobs. Very poetic in many times. But around 750,000 Gen Z bird watchers, according to the same people who came up with those
Starting point is 00:50:57 Taco Bell. numbers apparently. And the big tool that has like really helped us new birdwatchers is Merlin, which was developed by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and uses machine learning to identify bird calls. It is the Shazam for birds. Oh, so it never opens when I try to find it. Yeah, yeah. When I swipe down from an iOS menu. Now the song's over. Yeah. It's gone. But yeah, this is what I go outside, meditate for like 10 minutes. A day in the life of Jack O'Brien. Get ready with me.
Starting point is 00:51:39 They're ready with me. So what I do, put a little moisturizer under my eyes. 5.15 a.m. Saratoga Springs, ice space bath. But yeah, I mean, I've had the thought that like this is the one good thing that AI has brought us. and apparently other people have had that same thought. I guess it's more machine learning. It's just basically, so there's also like... It's somehow arresting people.
Starting point is 00:52:04 It's causing people to... Birds are getting arrested. It's the same thing that's happening. Tiny handcuffs. So AI generated images of birds are popping up because the main way that like real birders are identifying birds is like people... I think that's the next level. I'm still entry level, like, interested in birds.
Starting point is 00:52:23 And just like... You're not about to have your... calls and then sometimes when I hear one I'm like, I think I know what that one is and then I'll look up to confirm it. But like these, a lot of people want to take pictures of the birds. That's their proof. And then
Starting point is 00:52:36 if it's, if it doesn't look as good as they want it to, they are they yassify the birds. Oh, no. So make it bigger tidied cocktail, whatever. Like, what if this thing was stacked? Stacked with a chad jawline. They all have fake lips. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:55 That's so sad. I know. But yeah, so these databases that are using machine learning and AI to identify birds are now they've found have been infected by hundreds of fake images. And they say the true scale of the issue is unknown since you can't really tell if it's, you know. And so those images probably will go undetected and they contaminate the records. and now, like, you're off to the races with, like, fake bird species, you know? I can always tell if a bird picture is AI or not because it always has, like, 12 beaks or, like, 36 feathers in one wing, you know, you can always tell. 43 toes, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:40 Yeah. More beaks. Wait, so then basically what people are doing is, like, they take a, like, a shitty picture that they want to upload and they're like, enhance, enhance. Enhance, yeah. Enhance to the point, like, now that is a prehistoric animal. So a birdwatcher in Brazil made a false sighting of a red winged blackbird, which is usually only found in North America. My God, in Brazil, where are you fucking new?
Starting point is 00:54:03 So it wasn't a red wig of blackbird. I could have told you that. Stupid. But it was a more common bird for the area. But the birdwatcher asked an AI program to make the picture look better. And the AI picture did that. And then they uploaded it. And now, you know, the, the,
Starting point is 00:54:22 machine learning doesn't know what it's learning from. Right. And like citizen science databases are valuable scientific tools because they're importing. Like that's what always seemed cool about Merlin to me is like when I'm doing that, when I'm like recording the bird song around my backyard, it's learning from that. It's like uploading information and it's like, okay, so this is where these birds are now. And so you're like kind of contributing to something larger and also like, gaining information.
Starting point is 00:54:53 Right. It's like how they used to use Captcha, like when you're trying to get into a password. Whatever it is. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's just wild too that basically AI, like everything before this, it was fine. But with the advent of this now,
Starting point is 00:55:08 it's like giving you false images, which are only going to be exacerbated by the fact that these things are like just iterating on each other. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. People keep using AI to yassify birds. Yeah, they're going to have to have.
Starting point is 00:55:22 like some barricade at the front of like the network or whatever to rule out any AI images. But like how do they, as AI gets better, how do they do that? Right. Yeah. And this is just the problem with AI in general. It's called a model collapse or AI cannibalism on the runway. Katrina, Katrina. It's called model death.
Starting point is 00:55:44 Oh my God. What happened to her? Get, get down. Model. Model collapse, model collapse. All right, I'm done. You shouldn't be. I should have wore my Paris's burning hat today.
Starting point is 00:55:59 You do have Paris's burning hat. I know. That's awesome. People are worried that it's going to degrade into AI bullshit like everything else. Well, don't worry. It's here. Yeah. Maybe we could start uploading fake images to...
Starting point is 00:56:12 You think this will like... Will there be enough of a backlash where, you know, obviously younger people are like sick of the digital age where they're like, I kind of need to do things where people are going to be like, no, we just need to start taking like film photos again. Yeah. Because everyone loves to look at film. Yeah, right. They kind of are.
Starting point is 00:56:29 But also I think like everything is going tangible as like the economy. Like right is horrific. Like people are like, I'm on TikTok and people are like, you know what? I'm just going to build a farm. And like everyone is doing some sort of like planting stuff or like. Right. On farmville, right? Mending things.
Starting point is 00:56:48 Like everybody has a homestead. No. In real life. Yeah. Wait, what? Yeah. I know people who are like starting a farm. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:56:56 Yeah. What? Do you what? Would you think you could handle that? Rural life? A farm. The way you were just looked at me like, come on, asshole. What?
Starting point is 00:57:05 I almost got my ass beat by that flamingo earlier, man. Oh, yeah. Animal sense weakness immediately. Yeah. My one friend who I grew up in the valley with, he got one of those weird grow bed towers. And he's blown that thing out. And he's like, dude, there's no way I could ever do anything without this. this like weird plug-and-play tower.
Starting point is 00:57:23 Every time I go, he's like, you want 700 basil plants or arugula? Yeah. That's incredible. That was one thing from the David Lynch story that was really cool. You know, people are always like, he's an Eagle Scout. That's like so weird that he was a Boy Scout because he's like, you know, the movies he makes are so dark and strange. But that actually like helped his career because he would just hand to make shit.
Starting point is 00:57:45 Like when he couldn't afford a full movie budget, he would just like build sets and, you know, puts it together. And like, if I was another person, I would be like, oh, man, maybe that could like inspire me to build things with my hands. I'm just like, no, that's, no, that couldn't be me. It's just, yeah. Like, could David Lynch build better hands for me? David? That's how an AI coder would think about it.
Starting point is 00:58:12 But if I got him to build a better version of me, then it would be a recursive loop where we all just keep improving. Pahlavi, such a pleasure having you on this special tropical edition. Yeah. Saved by the Bell Summers. Saved by the Bell Summer. Was that what it was called the Summer? Yeah, when they were at the Beach Club. Yeah, the Corozy Beach Club. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:58:36 That was crazy. Say by the Bell Beach Club version of the Daily Zikeist, aka the Zite Lotus. Where can people find you, follow you, see you all that good stuff? I'm at Palavie Ganalin everywhere. I run two monthly shows. One is at the Elysian on the 30th, I believe, called Second Screens. And then facial recognition comedy is on the 31st at the company store. And also please, please listen to the millennial mood board pod.
Starting point is 00:59:04 This week we had the Scholastic Book Fair. We went over to that and like all of our favorite books and like how the company started in like Pennsylvania in 1920. And it was like so fun to just like. reminisce about our, we have like a summer reading list of our favorite, like, children's books that we put out with it. Give me one. What's one on there? I loved like a wrinkle in time and Ella enchanted and tuck everlasting.
Starting point is 00:59:31 Like, those were some of my favorites. I mean, I wouldn't call those children's books. That's real literature. Some heavy shit. That's about my reading level. You read the giver? That's fucked up. Yeah, that's on my list.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Hatchet. You ever fuck with Hatchet? Hadget, Tommy how to survive an avalanche, right? My favorite novel? Probably Hatch. Mine, probably Indian in the cupboard. That movie's really fucked up and aggressive. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:00 Doesn't he lock him back in at the end? He's constantly locking him in. He's like, I'm not, enough of you. Our wild ways confuse him and frighten him. I think his name was Omri, too. And I remember being like, that's a name? Omri. Oh, the boy.
Starting point is 01:00:17 The boy's name. The boy. Polyde, is there work of media you've been enjoying? I just read Anatomy of an alibi, and that was pretty interesting. It picked up the pace towards the end of it. This is my homestead. I'm going to recommend a book every time I'm on here now. That was like a real backhanded compliment.
Starting point is 01:00:39 It finally picked up the pace at the end. It did. No, that's what I was like. I will say at the beginning, I was like, all the narrator sounding a little bit similar, but then I like, it picked it up, and I was like, I like it. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 01:00:53 Anatomy of an alibi. Yeah. That's right. The kid who played Omri was also in searching for Bobby Fisher. Was he the beef fish? Yeah, the beef fish. Magically beefish. Miles where can people find you as there are working media?
Starting point is 01:01:06 You've been enjoying. Find me everywhere at Miles of Gray. Catch me talking about 98 Beyonce on 428 Beyonce. I'm talking about soccer. football, futsalchibol, kutu, chuku, I think that's how you say it in Korean. Saka in Japanese on Aina Fliu. So check that out. A work in media, like, I don't know if I really had one.
Starting point is 01:01:33 Katrina, Katrina, Katrina, Katrina, Katrina. Paris is burning. I don't have anything. I mean, if you haven't seen Paris is burning. You're on a resort. You love a pinia collada. Water slides are media. So.
Starting point is 01:01:45 Thank you. Super producer Anna Hosnia Any work of media you want to recommend anywhere if people can find you I mean I'm just at Hosniya on Instagram but whatever he can raise about anything 3H is at the end I would say a piece of work of Media work of Medea
Starting point is 01:02:05 Medea just go go look at the photo of Jack being like mugged by a flamingo getting big dog by a flamingo it's on the TDZ Instagram go look at it This flamingo is... I'm also to upload a time lapse of a famous Jack O'Brien shark drawing. My kids really made me feel good. They were like, no, you're actually good at drawn sharks.
Starting point is 01:02:28 Yeah, well, you do it. It felt like... I was like, no, it sucks. I'm terrible. It was funny because it felt like you regressed too as like one of the kids. You're like, no, Jack's really good. Get Jack to draw a shark. It's not.
Starting point is 01:02:38 It's like my skill that a 10-year-old appreciates. Yeah, but I mean, that's like the fun thing of like having a slight amazement when your dad can do something. Dude, he can fucking draw a shark. And then when he grows up, and then you guys have like a shark off drawing competition, and then he knows that he's the future when he beats you.
Starting point is 01:02:59 He's best of you. That's what I knew. They weren't really like, my dad can draw a shark. Yeah. Almost like I brag about it every day. Well, I mean, I think they're proud of you. It was cute. I was like, yeah, right.
Starting point is 01:03:11 But like, yeah. Tonight they're going to be like, what's your dad do for a job? Sharks. Honestly, don't ask them that. They asked if I was your boss at dinner. They did. Yes, definitely.
Starting point is 01:03:23 As I've seen on this show. Energetically? Yeah. I was like, uh, yeah. That's because I'm mugging the shit out of your dad, dude. Obviously, mobbed the boy right there. I don't, uh, I don't talk about the fact, but I like, in my other part of my job, I work with Will Farrell sometimes.
Starting point is 01:03:39 Yeah, right. I told my kids that. And they said, yeah, right. They were like, oh, yeah. Have you had a drink with him? I was like, well, you know, I drink. They were like, have you had orange juice with him? I was like, well, we had a...
Starting point is 01:03:51 His bar doesn't count, yes. Yeah, that was literally like... They were shooting holes in my... They were like, so I was like, yeah, we had like a breakfast meeting together. They're like, I'm with you at breakfast. You don't do breakfast meetings. They're like, you don't leave in the morning. You don't leave in the morning.
Starting point is 01:04:08 I'm like, yeah, because I'm driving you to school. Then I'd go and have breakfast with Will Ferrell. That is so funny. You don't have a job. You're like, I'm a present father. That doesn't mean I'm a loser. They're like, anyway, mom is, mom works with Will Ferrell. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:24 My wife's a doctor. So, yeah, they get to, I get to have pride in that and then be like, yeah, sure. Wait, but what do you think they would say? Like, what do they know you do? That'll be interesting. No, I think they know. I do podcasts. I don't think they know what podcasts.
Starting point is 01:04:39 Well, they do know what podcasts are, but I don't think they know what our podcast is. Yeah, and that's for them to find out in probably four years. It's fair. We mainly talk about diarrhea. Talk about diarrhea outbreak. They're just like, they're like, get the thousand yards stare after they hear the podcast looking at you. Like, maybe my dad's not a good guy. Fuck, I can't wait for that.
Starting point is 01:05:04 I bet he doesn't even draw the sharks himself. By fucking AI generated. Poor shit. It feels AI generated. It feels AI generated. It feels AI generated. It's a lot of it. Definitely one of those things.
Starting point is 01:05:15 I'm just like, oh, man. How do they know that? Like, what are they doing? I'm sure they don't know. Have you talked about, you talk about AI? I've talked about AI. Yeah. Well, actually, someone said AI and then one of your sons ran up and said, what about AI?
Starting point is 01:05:28 Yeah. And I was like, he's interested. Well, because it's like. All your son, Sam Altman. It's like swear words where they know it's bad. And so they caught me up last night. They're like, what was that? And I was like, oh, nothing.
Starting point is 01:05:40 Would you just say? Yeah. I was like, hey, daddy, what did she say? I was like, damn. Daddy, make her say it again. I was like, I got to go. She's lying. I do forget that you, actually, there are children around that.
Starting point is 01:05:51 There are children around. Oh, I was doing that constantly. And I was like, oh, yeah, that's funny. I know we had to like. On Love Island, they want to just say the N word so bad. And they almost caught themselves. They're like, there were rules. Fellas.
Starting point is 01:06:06 Yeah. They're like, what's a, okay? It's now getting more entertaining just to like not know what Love Island is and just hear But it sounds so horrible. Well, it's over. Now you can binge it all. Oh, amazing. Do I just want to know something funny?
Starting point is 01:06:19 This family was on the plane with me that got delayed. Oh, really? Yeah. They're like, there you are. Is that a good omen or a bad omen? Yeah, every once in a while, family will stop by and just look at us recording. They could just down to a 40-ounce bottle of water and one sip and just look to you dead in the eye. You guys are technically recording in an aquarium right now.
Starting point is 01:06:36 Kind of are. People just walk them and just go like, what's going on in here? There's like a group of like teen girls that were like, are these people a loser? I was like, yeah, just keep moving, please. Yes, get out of here. Enjoy your trip, please. Don't look this way. You can find me on Twitter at Jack underscore O'Brien, Blue Sky, Jack O'Bee, the number
