How you doing? Shall we tell them what it is that is trending? That what we heard tell based on the mumblings and grumblings of the internet and Twitter and Google? The internet is a grumbling today, boys. I guess rumbling would have been the right word there. Anyways, Florida is trending. Why is Florida trending? Because Ron DeSantis, governor of the century, who has been resisting shutting Florida down and ordering his residents to shelter in place, has finally told everybody in the state to stay the fuck at home. this governor was allowing spring break to happen and like all these numbers that a lot of health experts were like this could be troubling for the state of florida if they actually don't get their

act together and only now uh on april he was literally the mayor from jaws he was like the must stay open so we can get that spring break money no and he was if you actually look closely again at the original cut of jaws he was literally the mayor in jaws that's him but the one of his first roles he went on to a really great acting career he's just been so aggressively ignorant about everything like just lockstep with the administration like oh yeah it's really not that big of a deal when there are so many uh older residents of the state who a lot of people are like uh there's a few like you know retirement communities that look particularly vulnerable and on i think it was tuesday he was asked by a reporter they're like

you know what's your take on not shutting the state down because the surgeon fucking general recommended that people shelter in place that would be his advice to everybody in the country and his response is like well i never heard that and the reporter was like what yeah his basically what he said is quote i'm in contact with the white house task force and i've said are you recommending this the task force has not recommended that to me if they do obviously that would be something that carries a lot of weight with me if any of those task force folks tell me that we should do x y or z of course we're going to consider it but nobody has said that to me thus far so he was basically saying because mike pence didn't command directly into his ear to do a specific thing that's why he's been dragging his feet so he reminds me in every way he's just a trump supporter right like he. He's on board with the cult of personality, all he cares about.

He's choosing that cult of personality over reality in this life and death situation, which is what a lot of Trump supporters are doing as well. And it's also funny, though, too, to see people who, like Fox News, how they got rid of Trish Reagan, who famously, at the beginning of this whole thing had that really dark, like, this is an impeachment hoax monologue. They fired her because a lot of the people are saying, a lot of the reporters who have spoken with people inside Fox News say it was a move because they're actually a little concerned that they could have some kind of legal liability in them downplaying the entire outbreak and that they

can see themselves criminally liable for any lives that are lost so that was sort of them being like okay let's get rid of her let's try and make like we know what we're doing is the right thing so yeah you're seeing a lot of it's weird to see how certain supporters are behaving one is like okay well outwardly to his supporters act like we support them but on the other side we also have one foot kind of in reality where things could get real so right i think i actually believe he has known from day one because i mean he's been speaking like he is the president he's had good intel he's just very cynical and he thinks the only thing that matters to his presidency is like how the stock market is doing and he just resisted the idea of doing something that

would spook the stock market well yeah and he's very cynical he's shown himself to be so obsessed with whatever the poll numbers are they said like he only backed down from his reopen america statements because a lot of like pollsters and economists are like this is going to fuck you up if you do this actually for re-election it's like okay actually never mind so maybe this is a new we found a new way to talk him into doing like real shit like hey why don't you uh free all these people in these ice detention camps it'll you know it'll help you get re-elected it'll pull well yeah yeah fuck yeah uh zantac is trending uh which is never good news i feel like yeah unless people are like man this zantac is really working well man i don't know about y'all but is your zantac hitting different during the quarantine the yeah so zantac the fda has told everybody to pull the heartburn product off store shelves uh

the fda they're saying they found a link basically saying that there is a, I guess, amount of ranitidine with, I guess that's- Ranitidine is- Ranitidine is the drug? Ranitidine is the name of the drug. Generic, right? That's the generic name of the- Okay, so the thing that they found is a contaminant called N-nitrosodamethylamine. Methylamine.

I know that from Breaking Bad. Ha ha. nitrosodamethylamine. Methylamine. I know that from Breaking Bad. Ha ha. Nitrosodamethylamine. It basically starts occurring when the products are stored

at higher than room temperatures over a long time. And they basically could expose consumers to really bad levels of this, what they say is a carcinogen. So on top of all that, they're like, yo, pull it out. We're like, no, this is not, don't put anybody at on top of all that they're like yo pull it out like no this is not

don't put anybody at risk i mean they've been saying that uh zantac is a carcinogen like that that was i feel like that was a story over a year ago but then you know the the powers that be kind of stamp that down it's still out there on, but this seems like it's the second wave of that, and it's probably... Ah, got it. Yeah. It's funny. One of the pictures that is being published with this story is a picture of pharmacy shelves that are completely barren except for boxes of Zantac.

That's pretty funny and probably something that's happening all across this great land a zoom get out the way is trending my favorite i like to invite people to zoom meetings and call them zoom bitch get out the way uh because i'm a little bit funny i'm a little wacky like that uh you never know what you're gonna get with me because i'm a little bit funny. I'm a little wacky like that. You never know what you're going to get with me because I'm a lot of fun. So why is Zoom trending other than my sick joke? Well, I think because over the last two weeks, Zoom has gone skyrocketing up the app charts in the Google Play Store, the App Store for iOS, everywhere, because people are using it to basically meet over video for business and

pleasure. But along with that has come up like increased scrutiny. And a lot of people are pointing out a lot of vulnerabilities within Zoom and like some problematic stuff they've had that they've had to address. Like last week, people were pointing out in the iOS app that there was code that was sending device data to Facebook. And then they had to rewrite parts of the privacy policy because people found out that users were basically opened up to their personal information being used to target ads. They also found out that while Zoom was screaming up and down the aisle saying, yeah, you can have a secure meeting with end-to-end encryption,

they were later on actually say, actually, it's not possible to enable end-to-end encryption for Zoom video meetings. So there's a lot of, you know, little tweaks here and there. And I think a lot of people, especially since we're seeing a lot of Zoom bombing where people are just able to pop into your meeting unannounced and troll the fuck out of you,

that, you know, there's a lot of settings now that people need to be aware of to fully ensure their Zoom safety and make sure their data isn't being tossed around willy-nilly. Yeah. There was an article in the New York Times magazine that was talking about how it was actually a first-person piece from one of their deputy editors whose husband is at home sick with COVID-19 and very sick, on the verge of needing to be hospitalized. But they opened it up by talking about how they feel like this has opened a different dimension of people, of your coworkers' lives,

because now you see, at the very least, a part of their home. Sometimes their kids are walking into frame. I just saw one of our coworkers' kids for the first time. They've mentioned them before, but it's interesting to see them walk in and see their lives happening in the background of the Zoom videos. Right.

It's like they're real people. Yeah. It's almost like they're real people. Almost, though. Yeah. I don't like to see that sort of thing. Keep it at home. You know what I'm saying?

Hey, man, obscure your personal life, man. I don't need that. I don't need to make connections i don't need that shit uh and finally the thing that's on everyone's mind during this quarantine uh takashi69 yep what's happening he's been saying sir snitch a lot from prison he was like look man i know i snitched on a whole a whole crew of people out here just to save my own ass but here's the other thing i should get he's been wanting to get out of prison early since since he went in but with coronavirus he's been him and his lawyers have been like i have asthma i need to get out or i will die i mean yeah i don't think it's anything to play with anybody's safety in that

sense especially because we've seen how vulnerable incarcerated people are right now uh but it sounds like a judge uh has sided with him and it's possible that he could be as of as as of this by the time you're hearing this takashi 69 could be out in the streets free to snitch on people who are not socially distancing. So, you know, the saga will continue. Hey, you listening to this, look behind you. It's Tekashi69. He's snitching on you. The guy whose dye job has grown out in a really weird pattern. Oh, man. I can only imagine what.

He's got to look a mess right now. I mean, you'd think he would just. Makes you feel for him. Yeah. I mean, I think anybody who's used to going to a barber, thank God, as a man of color who does not need to use the barber anymore. I feel for a lot of my friends I see in other text groups, people who are contemplating just cutting their own hair, not knowing what to do. So, you know, for everybody who has their edges are looking rough, their lineups are in dire need.
