Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah, so... There's another thing that's trending. Disney World's coming back July 11th.

There have been rumbles for a long time now. Rumblings that the NBA was going to return in Orlando in mid-July. And it was just going to be all the teams basically playing out the playoffs in uh in orlando like everybody in quarantine and stuff so like just like like the 40 days and nights sort of format like yeah they were they gave us was that seven years ago in that how long ago was that whole thing of like the 40 days 40 games 40 nights uh so yeah i don't know man i i'll be interested to see uh but as regards disney world they're saying that everybody's gonna have to wear masks there's gonna be social distancing in place

there's gonna be temperature checks there's gonna be a hand sanitizer uh not really things that would bother me at all like and in fact i would be bothered if they didn't have those things yeah they're like at this point yeah the thing they're also saying they're the capacity is gonna be reduced which i think fantastic uh they also gonna get rid of like fireworks and parades and things anything that would create a crowd or gone you can't like really meet the characters or at which I think fantastic. There are really, there's real things happening in the world right now. Coming after Burger King because they had a joke about, that's pretty, that I think even Taylor Swift herself would find funny. Absolute waste of time. But hey, we're kids.

I didn't know about shit when I was a certain age hey but shame on you if you're over if you're over 17 years old and you're doing this shit go get come on get your fucking life together honestly i don't know why i'm like i had my shit together at 17 i fucking did it the second i became an adult uh i suddenly was responsible and that's not true John Boyega is trending because he like I was wondering how what he said is controversial he came out as anti-racists

yeah he tweeted yeah he tweeted yesterday basically something to the effect of like I hate fucking racists like fucking racists. Like, fuck racists. I fucking hate them. Obviously, because there's, you know, the noose.

And under like all the reply, there was a lot of replies. There's a mixture of people completely understanding me on the same page as him, understand what he's saying. Then you have like these people with their dumb takes trying to make his like, you know, stance against racism somehow about them and then trying to like argue like what racism is. And you can only imagine what a man of color who it was in a Star Wars films mentions look like when you put out a full on like anti-racist stance tweet. Yeah, that's what you pointing that out made me realize oh yeah he was in star wars that's got to be right they're like it's just such a wide cross-section of the globe that like you're gonna get some uh very yeah i'm sure the overlap of people who are just like vitriolic frothing-at-the-mouth misogynists

are also really up on racial dynamics and the disparities in this country and across the world, always on the side of oppressed people. Do you think there was something specifically misogynistic about the Star Wars fan base, or is it just such a fan base that it's inevitably going to include misogynists? I think about the real Star Wars fans I know, they are not misogynists. They are fully in on the lore of balance of power. You know what I mean?

They're into those themes and are probably at the same time being like, yeah, the film maybe could have done some female characters a lot better than they did. Yes. But I think it's like, you know, the fan base is so big. It's like, it gets so big and broad.

You're just gonna have a ton of different opinions on one thing, so. Yeah. I do wonder because the original movies, like you just have this implicit, sort of it's implied that women can't be jedis and like without people necessarily like overtly being like well i'm a sexist and i therefore like star wars i could see how like the original could you know the the most notable woman is somebody who is like you know roughed up into

a romantic relationship in the case of leia with han and then you know she's has the like the real sexy image that everybody refers to is slave leia so like i can i can see where like some of that might line up but sure i think it's like anything that you'd like watch something when you're young you don't have to fuck you don't get that you're like yeah right yeah men better women damsels save them weak like it's yeah yeah you know but but i don't know it would be hilarious though if there were like these massage like red pill dudes who are like yo man have you fucked with star wars though oh like that's what i'm fucking talking about that's what i'm talking about yeah anyway then but it did sort of become like a a gamer gate light type situation because i think like you know there are pockets of nerd culture that

still just hold on to these toxic toxic uh ideals um but the thing is boyega then went on like instagram because he was just like let me say it louder for the people in the back fuck white racist people because let me tell you there is a lot of pain for people right now uh not just black people if you really are disturbed by the lack of justice in this country it's really disheartening to see what's going on especially when you see the fallout in minneapolis where people are protesting but the police are shooting gas canisters like these people were armed to the teeth like the white people at the michigan state house the capital uh but again we've talked about this disparity long enough uh but the protesters were not armed at all right

no just especially not uh yeah i mean just look at the juxtaposition you have guys in like ski masks and tag gear with like a full-on assault weapons uh standing there and you have like children who are like wearing surgical masks with signs that say like my life matters and you're like right oh we better and they're shooting them with but again this is this is the reality we live in that's the hurt that a lot of black people people of color any oppressed person living in this country can identify with and so he just let it be known on ig and a lot and i think a lot of people on twitter are like yeah fuck go off john boyega like exactly that a lot of people are feeling like fuck

racism and like fuck all of this shit um yes so yeah that's it so that got that got a trending yeah um and then the other thing that's trending everywhere is spacex uh the spacex slash nasa The SpaceX slash NASA collabo. SpaceX. Feeling a lot better now. Feeling a lot better about that now that I know NASA is heavily involved. They are on the launch pad right now. There's some weather things that might be going on. 668,000 people are watching on YouTube Live right now.

But the launch has been canceled, right? Has it, officially? According to DJ Daniel, breaking text message, he said that the launch has been scrubbed due to weather. Okay. Scrubbed due to weather. There was a tornado warning nearby, so I'm glad to see that. Yeah, don't mess around with uh a historic flight with weather that is not perfect give yourself every opportunity to let this be absolutely

perfect does make me wonder why uh we we go with florida for launches like this when the wildest weather i've ever seen in my life is in florida like that there will it'll be blue skies and you will like see like it's a time lapse movie like the clouds roll in and just like thunder like form in front of your eyes i mean i can't i there are two reasons there are reasons apparently why it's in florida are they red yeah okay and it makes a bit of sense uh the first one is that it's relatively near the equator compared to other places in the u.s uh so that's a boost uh and then the other thing is an east coast location is desirable because the rockets leaving earth's surface traveling eastward get a boost from the earth's spin yeah but besides that

i have no idea how any of that makes sense yeah but the dolphins though right like think about the dolphins dog were they that good that team i mean really think about it i want to know what did you were you have you seen any of the space SpaceX launches when you like look up and it just like looks like there's something unnatural happening in the sky. I think like early on when we started doing this show, there was a night driving back and we were all like, what in the fuck is going on right now? Yeah, there was like a bright glowing cloud in the sky i was like why that's i've never seen anything because it was nighttime yeah but then there was a cloud that had sunlight i bet you we have photos of it in our phones because we were all like yeah like what the fuck they're like it's by me too and then all it took us to be like oh right we're stupid human earth dwellers

and they're launching a space like a fucking rocket right but it was a spacex thing that like it was like basically the uh exhaust from it but it was up so high that even though it was night where we were the sun from like the other side of the earth was like reaching it it was really dope get that out of here one of the strangest things i've ever seen yeah get that witch stuff out of here man that's i'm sorry these space launches they're stressful man because oh yeah every fucking space movie we have is about someone getting basically in the brink of some fucked up death or something awful happening like there's never like the space mission that was so chill there's not a movie like that there's never There's never like the space mission that was so chill.

The more you learn about the Challenger explosion, actually the better it will make you feel about a launch like this because of how badly it was botched. But it's a double-edged sword because the way you're telling me is like, then it was avoidable. it was avoidable but i think what happened was they

hadn't had a disaster like a space launch disaster to that point right and they just like felt invincible i think wait well what do you mean like ap Apollo 13 wasn't a fucking... They all survived. I mean, it wasn't a... Hey, they're like, hey, come on. Hey, don't bring that one up. That was touch and go at best. Touch and go at best. Come on, man. But like it had never blown up.

So like when it was like, yeah, you know, there's a chance that these overings are not going to perform well in like hyper cold situation. were just like yeah no we're we're good we'll we'll do it so i i don't think they'll ever make that mistake again like i just i want nothing but the best for the crew take the rocket to space and leave this fucking place whatever the fuck it is but yeah shout out to them i need that song man uh all right guys that is gonna do it for this wednesday we'll be back tomorrow and talk you through another scrapped launch probably uh i don't know when they're delaying
