great person who is uh you know a just she's as an aide, but she has been doing this for so long. And like her acumen about budgets and things like that is like respected on both sides of the aisles. She's already gone through hearings to be like the deputy director of OMB. And that went smooth as shit. of omb and that went smooth as shit so a lot of people like uh just promote our girl shalanda to be the the director because you saw how we already know what that is going to look like based on the previous uh round of vetting that happened uh in up on the hill so you know they're throwing other names around like anne o'leary is someone who people talked about who's more you know the clint she's from the clinton world and also from gavin newsom's uh she's also gavin newsom's chief of staff so then people are

like uh that's a optic l right right yeah like people don't like gavin newsom there's a he's already facing recall shit that's going to be that's going to be another one there's another uh like a biden loyalist that's being talked about but a lot of people like just go with shalonda young this would be very easy and it's someone that's respected and will seemingly get the job done and have no problems through a hearing do it so she's like kind of a lifer which is never a bad thing when you have somebody who has like institutional knowledge right but for 14 years she's been on the u.s house committee on appropriations yeah exactly and that's basically

her position there for 14 years the same people both left and right have been looking at her respecting what she's been saying and it that's why everything's going well they're even republicans saying yeah if they nominated her there's not gonna be a problem yeah but it's all something like that when you yeah and i think part of it too is like the biden administration not wanting rather than saying like we're you know i guess pulling back her nomination it's because joe mansion and these other people are fucking it up for you already and you're for all this shit that was being talked about about we're gonna take the senate and they're already at 15 and then we're gonna go to

the white house and it's not happening so they it's easier to just be like yeah we're gonna take the senate and they're already at fifty dollars and then we're gonna go to the white house and it's not happening so they it's easier to just be like yeah we're gonna switch it up rather than say that was an l uh because we didn't have enough votes so yeah yeah uh and finally uh neanderthals is trending uh because the right um is going to try to turn this into the new deplorables would be my prediction um joe biden said uh that trying to reopen uh ahead of you know everybody getting vaccinated just like where we're right there months away from everybody or at least having enough vaccines to get everybody vaccinated. That reopening and just being like, enough! Even as your numbers are going up, as we talk about in tomorrow's episode, Texas's numbers are going up, which is not the time to reopen 100%. Right.

I wonder what would happen if, like, Biden started calling them libs and shit. Acting like a bunch of libs. Yes, right, we're libs. And they were like, yeah. Like, i'm just curious what that would do like just as a thought experiment how the like right-wing media would happen like if joe biden threw out a weird like an insult to fuck with him like that yeah um also neanderthals were probably smarter than humans uh they had more brain uh which is usually the the size of your brain as as it relates to your body mass is usually like how they measure how smart an animal is then i'm sorry to disrespect neanderthals because these people even on y'all level
