The world gets crazier and Yamanika is here to tell whoever's responsible, you're the problem. Do you know I just found out who Sidney Sweeney was? Hello, the internet, and welcome to this episode of Pending for a Trendin. Oh, that one courtesy of Bert Turgler, keeping up the trending titles based on whiteism, white people saying. Somebody else offered Patty 1120 offered, now you're cooking with Trend Solene. okay but we didn't go with that one for the reason
Starting point is 00:02:31 because it wasn't as good as penned him for a trend in boom it was a good it was a valiant effort Patty um
Starting point is 00:02:37 be whiter I guess um my name's Jack O'Brien I'm thrilled to be joined as always by my co-host Mr. Miles Gray
Starting point is 00:02:46 hey whoa whoa what is the main show oh sorry I'm just amped man I know also throw to be joined by super producer
Starting point is 00:02:55 on a hosnia hey there's just just came off a water slide, went all the way up the damn wall. I wish there was somebody who could say, you know what, guys, I think you guys want the highest up the wall today.
Starting point is 00:03:07 I know. We went high. We went. I feel like when, I feel like we went, I feel like we got very high. I shrieked when we got up there. Guys, we did this,
Starting point is 00:03:16 what was it called? Cyclone rush. This like five person raft thing, it just spits you down like a toilet bowl shoot and then up like a ramp wall that I'm pretty sure because of our weight, we probably, I feel like we got airborne for a second.
Starting point is 00:03:29 We were, yeah, I think we have to be. We were watching these other rafts full of children. Near children. Not nearly enough mass on that thing. Laughing. Yeah. Anyone who's done a pine car derby knows. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:43 You got to goost that thing. We went up like, we goost it big time. Yeah, yeah. It was terrifying. Tony Hawk. It was terrifying. And then after, it was like one of those things afterwards. I honestly was so terrified because my, I was always back facing.
Starting point is 00:03:56 We were fighting. because I was trying to move it. So I wasn't on the back. Then you would shift and you were going to the back. I was just struggling to survive. I wasn't trying to be like, no, Anna, it's your turn.
Starting point is 00:04:05 I was just like, no, I was like, going back and forth to, like, because of how the water was flowing us. Yeah, yeah,
Starting point is 00:04:11 sometimes you were going backwards. Sometimes I was going backwards, but it was going down. You both shrieking. Both tried to throw my son out of the raft. It was a, like, we got too much weight.
Starting point is 00:04:21 It was like, I had a lot of adrenaline going. I'm not proud of it. I'm not proud of. It was a fire flight. things I did on that water slide. Yeah, yeah. It was a fun one though.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Shout up Bahamas. Yeah. Which is where we are. Yeah. For people who haven't been listening so far this week. Bahamas week continues. Yeah. It is the Stacey Kourou.
Starting point is 00:04:40 What was the? Stacey Kerosi. Stacey Kroisi played by the air. Laughan. We're saved by the bell. It goes to the beach club. We're at the beach club. We are recording in a beautiful beach colored studio.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Yeah. With the amazing. podcast staff from from the studio. Shout out, shout out, Chris. We got Bree, we got Chris here in the building. From SoundCrate A.V.
Starting point is 00:05:04 That's right. And, yeah, we got super producer Ana Hosniae joining us. We were just talking before we started recording about how Mariska Hargette is trending. She was all over the Knicks. Right. She apparently, did you hear the story where she ran like 10 blocks after her one woman show to like get to the finals game? Just herself sprinted. Really?
Starting point is 00:05:28 From her theater, yeah, in Midtown. Good for her. To the MSG to see the show. Or just the show, the match. Yeah, yeah. The big show. Oh, my God. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:36 That was a big show. Guys, we got to get to audition before the big game. Yeah. And now they're making her the host of something that I wouldn't have expected. Is it the Emmys? Yeah. Anyways. Is that unexpected?
Starting point is 00:05:50 She's a star of television. What feels like? 20 years. That doesn't feel like a step up to you got. Like it, it feels like the people who announced it were probably like, we're going out on a ledge here for Mariska. Dude, RIP to your mentions from the Hargeheads. I'm just saying it's a,
Starting point is 00:06:11 her career is on an upward trajectory. So you're saying the Emmys is downward? No, no. I'm saying it's like she's becoming more mainstream. People are finally finding out. And then Anna was. like, well, you know, you know what happened to her mom, right? I was like, no.
Starting point is 00:06:29 I just knew she died. I didn't know how. This is the crazy. I just always knew her mom was Jane Mansfield. Her dad was a bodybuilder. But the dad was alive still. Mickey Hartgeta. He may have died like later, but he's, he wasn't there in the car crash.
Starting point is 00:06:41 That was for stepdad. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was that Italian singer guy. Miles Tamboli. Yeah. Miles Tamboli's piecester imposter. Yeah. Pisters.
Starting point is 00:06:52 He stirred impostors. So it's a while. I mean, we could do a whole episode about that. Yeah, she deserves an icon episode. No, it's funny because you said something and then you go, oh, schoo-be. Okay, whoa, whoa, whoa, that is not for Mike. You said that.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Yeah, between family. I thought you said that's what they called her. Like, that's a category of person. That was an Anna original? Yeah, that was between friends and family. Well, I like that. All right. So, take that out.
Starting point is 00:07:19 We'll give you the contextual, we'll give you the contextual details around her origin story. I can't just say squibious baby I thought that this was like the 50s or 60 people said awful shit I thought that was that was the like
Starting point is 00:07:33 medical term baby the sq miracle baby from Jane Mansfield's convertible no no so the reason there's the some context
Starting point is 00:07:43 she has a documentary about her mother that you could watch for more information about this they don't say school baby called that
Starting point is 00:07:48 okay but sorry go ahead Jack the reason that there is a like bars that go down at the back of a tractor trailer
Starting point is 00:07:59 is because of her mom they're called Mansfield bars shut out Bree for that yeah fucking absolute knowledge bomb on that one um Bree's just got got the information Bree knows everything we're talking it's incredible
Starting point is 00:08:13 Bree needs a podcast a lot of knowledge a podcast casually just rattling off facts and the reason is because the their car with Mariska in it and her two brothers
Starting point is 00:08:26 and her two brothers went under the back of a car her mom did not survive it neither did her stepdad neither did her stepdad and then the brothers the brothers survived and then
Starting point is 00:08:37 Mariska was stuffed like because she was a baby literally like a newborn stuffed under the passenger seat so they didn't like the car seats back then yeah and you know like the responders didn't see her
Starting point is 00:08:49 and so when the brother woke up in the hospital he literally goes like where is my sister and they were like this wasn't Louisiana also so they had to go to the you know wherever the car the junkyard and find the baby don't swish that one you got to get there Jesus Christ I mean essentially yeah and that's why she lived like if no one had saying she probably would have died yeah straight Harry Potter shit you know the girl who lived Mariska Hargatai I mean truly
Starting point is 00:09:18 truly like that's just having a baby experience that and survive it is enough And then for that baby to be hosting the Emmy worth. What are the chances? That's like when messy bathed Laminia Mall. Exactly. And Spain faces Argentina. Did we talk about that? That's old hat, man.
Starting point is 00:09:36 That video or that picture blew up in the Euros when Laminia Mall really had his own like coming out performance. Did I talk about the fact that I told people about that picture and somebody was like, that's AI, man. And like just completely deflated me because I was so excited. Right. And I was like, are you sure? And he was like, dude, totally AI.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Are you kidding me? The star of Spain that they're playing in the final. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And this is yet another thing. AI has robbed us up. There was somebody on Reddit was asking, there's like a celebrity called they did the math. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:07 And people are like, can someone actually quantify what the chances are of this, like, Laminia Mall's mom winning the little sweepstakes to get in a calendar shoot? The chances that it was Messies, the chance that Laminia Mall would be good enough to become a professional soccer player not only that make it to a, like a World Cup final, while Messi is still playing. And I think when you look at it like that,
Starting point is 00:10:29 you're like, that does feel like AI. It does feel like a guy. A, maybe reality is that. You know what is the original AI. That's right. Jesus Christ. That's my man. Let's talk about, my man is Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:10:44 And Miles for calling him out and honoring his name. Yeah. Let's talk about the cyber truck, which has officially taken over the crown. as the G-coat. The most good coat. The mug-a-coat, most garbage car of all time. Wow.
Starting point is 00:11:01 Apparently, the people have been looking at, like, what the numbers are of production and the percentages that are being sold. And apparently, prior to the cyber truck, and I guess it's not fully official, but people are saying this is, the cyber truck is on its way to claiming the title of, like, the worst car flop of all time. Right.
Starting point is 00:11:19 It's like how they can tell movies a hit on Friday. Yeah. It's like early returns. Yep, right? Exactly. So they're comparing it to the 1957 Ford Edsel, which is an educated celibate person. And they're apparently like,
Starting point is 00:11:38 we capture on a gun, come on. And that's just every time someone says something that's not true as a joke. Come, come, come. So when Ford came out, They're like, we're going to sell about 200,000 of these things in the first year.
Starting point is 00:11:56 They did less than a third of that. Uh-huh. And this is the ad sell. Yeah, yeah. When you look at it, you're like, it looks like a car from the 50s, but apparently people really didn't like that front grill that was evoking like a horse collar. Oh, I see that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:09 So with Tesla, a horse collar. Yeah. That's what the oval thing in the front of the gris. That's what I would put on a horse. Yeah. Or what am I saying? That's a collar. I'm not, look, I'm not an equine expert.
Starting point is 00:12:21 I get what you. Horse necklace. Yeah. So then with the cyber truck, Elon Musk is like, you know, we're going to have to make more than 250,000 of these annually because we can't keep them on the show. We can't keep them from catching fire and lots. And Tesla sold less than one six of that number in its first year. And that was the big one. That was everybody who was excited about this shit.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Yeah, they pre-suckered people into buying. Yes. They bought it. It's now this. and now this year it's off to even a poorer start only just a little over 7,000 have been registered in the U.S. this year.
Starting point is 00:13:00 I mean, you hate to see it. I feel like we saw, I mean, when I lived in L.A., I feel like I saw a lot there. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought they were hitting in it, like, when living in L.A., I was like, oh, the cybertruck has succeeded. Elon Musk has made me look like a fool once again.
Starting point is 00:13:16 Right. No, they were all mostly in that Riverside Tennis parking lot. It's like 40, like, cyber trucks park there. It's Burbank, Santa Monica, Pasadena. A lot of places where redlining was really, really hit in the 60s. Don't see them a lot on the East Coast, but I live in New York, so I don't really like see a lot of different types of cars. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:36 So, I don't know, like, are people driving like cyber trucks in like the Midwest and stuff? It turns out, no, they're not. Florida. I see them in Florida. Okay, sure. Florida makes sense. Yeah. Seen them in shitburg.
Starting point is 00:13:49 I mean, there's like anybody. who likes, you know, who's part of that, like, Elon? I want to know per cat, like, per state, how many cyber trucks? I'm curious, like, how many Minnesotans, like, you know, are driving cyber trucks? Yeah. Well, it gets so cold there. They're like, it's just not practical to have that. It's just no practical.
Starting point is 00:14:07 And it, like, doesn't work. California actually does. It looks like we've got the most. It doesn't work in the rain. It doesn't work in the rain. You have to, like, put it in car wash mode or some shit. That's why it's perfect. But what do you mean it doesn't work in the rain?
Starting point is 00:14:20 If you get it wet without putting it in, like, I'm about to get wet mode. Yeah. Things like start malfunctioning. It's not made out of the same shit as other cars. It's like, I don't understand what you mean by that. Is it Play-Doh? What are you talking about? You have to engage car wash mode so like certain things are protected from water being
Starting point is 00:14:39 directly blasted onto it because it's so delicate. And then if you don't do it. I know. And if you don't have car wash mode on and you go in a car wash, an announcement plays and Denzel Washington's voice says, oh, I didn't know you'd like to get wet. And then alerts start happening and then the car breaks down.
Starting point is 00:14:56 That's crazy. Yeah. It's a bad car. A bad product that is being treated as such. It's amazing. Gas and you with angel dust. Yeah. Angels just comes through the AC.
Starting point is 00:15:07 Like, oh, whoa, whoa. Just pulls a... I did not know that. That's really crazy. It pulls a lot jaw on you at the end of it. A great feature is in the PCP comes out of the... everything. It's a great feature.
Starting point is 00:15:21 You'll die. The dude, like, has all of his big ideas are, like, him coming in to other people's companies and then just, like, getting a bunch of people to invest in them. And when he has a big idea. Elon? Yeah, Elon. When he's like, no, I have, I have vision for this one. It's some shit like this.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Right. And he's, just in case you had any notion that capitalism, the current version of capitalism makes sense. That's the king. That's the winner. And he sucks it. Because wasn't it like most of his job? We haven't talked about the SpaceX IPO?
Starting point is 00:15:57 Because what? They've lost home. They're losing a lot of money. It's like a giant slow motion. Short sellers are going bafo already made $8.7 billion in profit from being like, yep, yep, yep.
Starting point is 00:16:12 This is all going to go down. Yeah. So you hate to see it. All right. Well, we got to one story in the first half. Let's take a quick break. Hell yeah. We'll be right back.
Starting point is 00:16:27 Get Bell, Pure Fiber Internet with Crave, Netflix, and Disney Plus from $94 a month. Price guaranteed for two years on Internet with a two-year term and auto pay credit. Visit bell.ca for details and to check availability. Bell, connection is everything. What's up, fam? I'm sports journalist Ari Chambers. Hey, what's up y'all? It's your girl, Sam Jay.
Starting point is 00:16:46 And we're the host of Everyone Watches Women's Sports, a new podcast from Together and I-Heart Women's Sports. Because let's be real. Women's sports is giving us way too much to talk about these days. So Kelsey Finler, she became the first female solo rower to go from California to Hawaii. My first thought is like, what's up with the snacks? Like, what are we eating? The highlights, the rivalries, the breakout stars, the moments to take over your entire timeline. And the conversations that start during the game and somehow keep going all week.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Every week, we're breaking down the biggest stories across women's sports. Naomi Osaka showing out, she beat. Ibalinka. Shout out to you, Naomi. You get the palm, Naomi. You get the palm for that. Because we're not just interested in what happened. We're interested in why everyone's talking about it.
Starting point is 00:17:31 Because everyone watches women's sports. Listen to everyone watches women's sports. On the Iheart radio app. Apple podcast or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, Portlandia fans. Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen here. You know us or rather you know them. Tony and Candice, Nina and Lance, Spike and yes, the chicken.
Starting point is 00:17:51 We've played a lot of iconic characters over the years, but today we're showing up as a lot of. ourselves to tell you about Podlandia AEO rewatch, our brand new podcast. Each week, we'll revisit an episode of Portlandia from the very beginning, breaking down the sketches, exploring the backstories of our most iconic characters, revisiting the Portland locations you know and love, and opening up about our creative process. How did any of this get made? Why do we think that was a good idea? We're ready to talk about it. And we'll also be joined by the people who helped bring it all to life.
Starting point is 00:18:21 guest stars, collaborators, and friends, including director Jonathan Chrysall, the mayor himself, Kyle McLaughlin, legendary musician Amy Mann, and many more. Kyle is going for it here. You fully improvised, not just words, but a song, a melody. Well, I thought he was going to write. I thought you were all going to write a song. I remember you thinking that. Listen to Podlandia.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Ayo rewatch on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. My first guest, is Harris Hilton, Shakira, Luke and Yerin, Samira and Gracie! I'm so excited on the bouncy bed. You have surprises? Many surprises. Welcome to Sweet 305 where the group chat comes to life. What a f***. It's like a way to say like,
Starting point is 00:19:12 Oh la, my friend, hello, my brother. What a... Look, never I've ever been with nobody. Except with my kids, my kids, my children, my children, I know my amante. Oof,
Starting point is 00:19:24 yeah. Oh, that's, Incredible. Yeah, the telenovela. You're the only person I know that loves a yellow starburst. It's lemonade. And no, there's someone. I'd like to collaborate with this person.
Starting point is 00:19:39 This is Sweet 305. Listen to Sweet 305 with Lele Pons as part of my Coulthura podcast network on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. And we're back. We're back. Let's blast through some more story. We got Donald Trump. This is a, he, I feel like this guy sometimes does quid pro quo, quid, quid, pro quid.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Yeah, quidditch. Yeah, quidditch. He's, he's, uh, what you might have heard that he, uh, got a favor from Johnny Infantino, um, during the world cup. Uh-huh. And now he's like, well, I think this guy would be great as the UN, And Secretary General. The guy, the famously corrupt guy from FIFA?
Starting point is 00:20:36 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because look, someone is going to have to, you know, replace Antonio Gutierrez. And who better than a guy who bent over backwards, like pleasing Trump? I'm sure that's just like the whole thing is like, he gave me a piece medal. He completely changed the rules for Fuller and Balligan
Starting point is 00:20:54 to play in that game. Right. And now I feel like, this is the payday. This is the payoff. I just have a lot of trouble with this. the UN. I'm sure he's like, man, it'll be great if you ran the UN Gianni. And I wonder if he's like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:06 I could be, I could be into that. Because what it takes, he would need to win the endorsement of the 15 member security council. And then the five permanent members vote and then a confirmation by the General Assembly. But I don't think that's going to happen because it's clear as day that this guy is just has no moral scruples. Right. And everything he touches is ruined. Have you guys ever spoke about the fact that the word infant is in his name?
Starting point is 00:21:32 No. Infantino is a goddamn child. The Spanish word for tiny is Tino. So it's tiny infantino. I don't know. That's not good. They call him Tiny Johnny. Speaks volumes to me.
Starting point is 00:21:46 Yeah. Let's see. The Main Street media is continuing to try to make sense of this DSA stuff. What the heck is going on with these guys? Those are we voting for these guys. Yeah, be sure it'll work in New York City. Yeah. Let's see, let's try that shit somewhere else.
Starting point is 00:22:02 The famously liberal New York City that's had the Republican mayors for most of the 21st century. But yeah, so there's, the Washington Post highlighted the Wisconsin candidate Francesca Hung. And I don't know a ton about her. I didn't heading into this article. I will say the doubters are all. saying the same stuff they were saying about Zoron, they're like, yeah, yeah, you know. I thought you said daughters.
Starting point is 00:22:35 The Dowders. Doors. Okay. I said doubters, uh, the way that Sean Penn says, is that my doubterer in there? His name is mystic river. Daughter. The doubters.
Starting point is 00:22:48 All the daughters are saying, um, that's interesting. Okay. Yeah. Matt Bennett, a co-founder of the center left third way think tank. called her comments saying from 2020
Starting point is 00:23:02 saying that she was for defunding the police as a first step towards abolishing the police he said that's the most toxic thing you could possibly imagine basically anywhere but especially in a purple place like Wisconsin and then there's a part about her using the sea word so that that's a mark in her favor
Starting point is 00:23:20 I think like how much she's freaking out people who are like from the third way thing yeah yeah yeah and then you've got This is the other thing that I think is important in a DSA candidate. Quote, Hong rarely backs down. She has kept in place incendiary posts,
Starting point is 00:23:36 including one in 2020 that called Tavern Lobbyists the C word. Last year, she used the same word as an acronym in a post, encouraging people to vote for liberals in a statewide race. Let me get to see you next Tuesday? I believe it's, yeah, that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:23:51 That makes sense. That's awesome. I do feel like that's the only thing that can stop the momentum. that the DSA is seeing is them listening to the voice is telling them to like moderate and take those posts down and being like
Starting point is 00:24:06 that's like the worst thing you could possibly say. Don't let them cook. Yes. Whatever you do, stop cooking. Get in the kitchen and turn the fire off. Yes.
Starting point is 00:24:16 And then I think the other thing is like voters trying to outsmart themselves like they did in 2020 where they like focus on electability rather than like what they what is actually good for them, you know? Sure.
Starting point is 00:24:30 So. Got to deliver. But there's also, like, this is just a trend we're seeing where the mainstream media is just trying to, like, Nate Silver had a thing where he was like, we've crunched the numbers and did some fine slicing. And people who vote for DSA candidates are high education, low income voters, which is a pretty small cohort. And it's like, damn, then why are they doing something?
Starting point is 00:24:56 So well. So why are you still talking about Nate Silver? Because people read it. People think these still say cooking. That's crazy. I know. But that's what's wild though, too. It's like,
Starting point is 00:25:07 these poor people who want things for themselves, keep going for the people that are trying to help them. They're figuring it out. Thanks, Nate. We must stop them. Yeah. But I think that's the thing. Like,
Starting point is 00:25:19 it goes to like sort of there's a, I don't know if you saw that interview where Zeran was talking to John Stewart. And he was saying like, you know, the difference in like campaign. versus governing is like campaigning, you're making your case to be elected and you want to gain their trust. It's like the part about governing is like, that's when you get to pay it off. Right.
Starting point is 00:25:36 And do things that get people to be like, oh, you just balance the budget. We're getting child care. Very interesting things. And that's, yeah. I was hard on Thoron because I was like, all right, if you're going to sit there and talk all this shit, I'm going to need to see something happen. Yeah, yeah. Like, I don't want you to show up and then, you know, have the establishment, like crush you to a point where you just give in.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Huge Cuomo fan. I remember that. I wasn't even fully, like, I didn't even have my ID yet for New York. And I found a way through, like, the city to vote for him. Right, right. Which were like, I had to go through a lot to get my voting registration down in New York. Sprinting through the streets. Dude, let me tell you, getting squished.
Starting point is 00:26:17 But also I, and so, yeah, I was hard because I don't, you know, people talk a big game. You have to see the results. What are you going to do when you actually get an office? I want to know, are you, you know, like, I'm not so worried about the buses being free, but, you know, like what you said, the child care, balancing the budget, like rent control, all these different things, you know. And he's been doing the work. And it's honestly, Zodong, I'm out here for it.
Starting point is 00:26:43 I mean, he was on here literally in the news being like, I would, I personally would go and arrest that in Yahoo. And then he like, that would never happen. Trump was like, that would never happen to say no. They gave an address, like, direct to care and be like, Here's why I can't, but why I still would. He's like, but here's the thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:00 I'm putting the call out. It's like the stringer. Yeah. He's like, put the call out. Put the streets nowhere about. And I was like, that's the most insane thing to possibly do. And I'm behind it 100%. Like that I think people need to see that from, you know, these candidates also from him.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Like him continuing to do that is like, yeah. They aren't just saying what they think you, like, like, uh, they want you to hear. And like, that's crucial. Well, because I think most people, they get into office and they're just like the constant gardeners of the status quo. Yes, exactly. And they're not getting a tune out of the office. You know, like you have someone like Zeruncom and he's like, I'm getting a tune out of this thing. Watch this. He'll go to a billionaire's apartment and hold a gun to his head and be like, you have to pay extra taxes. No. Sorry, I can come off of it right now. He's going to start dressing like Dane. I'm like, even I don't do that. Like, chill. Even I'm like,
Starting point is 00:27:56 Like, yo, chill, chill, chill, chill, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey, right. Zara, Zor on. Yo, you're violating, bro. That's crazy. No, like, I'm down, but, like, also, like. Don't you have goons for that? You shouldn't be doing this work.
Starting point is 00:28:07 You can't do that. Yeah, yeah. What's the security detail look like? I do worry about him. Literally, like, she's just, like, mugging, looking intense. And you're like, well, I don't want to mess with her. She's, she looks like she could. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:28:18 Curbst on me. Literally, she's. His security detail? The city in New York, bro. It honestly is. It's like him hanging out with like cat. Yeah. I'm watching the World Cup with like inmates.
Starting point is 00:28:28 I'm like, seems like he's good wherever he goes. Yeah. Pretty sure. He's the most protected man. Yeah. And also there's like a, sorry,
Starting point is 00:28:36 there's a joke that he's like in drag because it's like his suit zips up from the back because he always has, he's always earned the same suit, but then you just see like a Knicks jersey on it depending on the event. Oh, yeah, yeah. And Arsenal jersey.
Starting point is 00:28:47 Yeah, yeah. And then also you see like he's, you know, repping like the Puerto Rican flag at the Puerto Rican Day parade. Like he just has the most. It's always the same suit with a different sort of like. Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:58 Zipped up from the back. It's impressed. It's very shrewd of him to do the things he said he was going to do. It's like, oh, okay. Yeah. Wow. You're really desperate, huh? You really.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Is he allowed to do that? He's desperate for my approval. And maybe he's getting it. My God. He's wearing a week's jersey underneath the suit. He's love bombing you. It's actually really problematic. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:21 He's love bombing the city. I've seen this 100 times. He's love bombing you to manipulate you. He's a political fuck boy. Behind the scenes is something very terrible and he's trying to cover for that. Love bombing. No, I'm not going to have anything of it.
Starting point is 00:29:34 What else we got here? Shout out of Zod. Shout out of money. He's begging for more drink ticket. No, begging for more budget. He's literally like we need $86 billion. Yeah, because he's,
Starting point is 00:29:52 He spent most of it this week. Yeah. Like how much, how much have we, what's the tab right now? Uh, 37.5 billion dollars. Look, that seems like it's too much. I'm like, hey, come on, Pete. Yeah. It's, it's a marathon.
Starting point is 00:30:06 You know, you gotta like, spread it out. Hey, man. Literally like, losing my mind. This isn't forever war energy. You're getting right now, dude. But yeah, it's not getting worse. And then even like with those soldiers that have died, like Trump was out here being like,
Starting point is 00:30:18 they were all vocal supporters. And you're like, you're, everyone's gone and no one lives on earth. Yeah. Close. Close. That's my reaction to everything is just close to straight. When Iran got knocked out of the World Cup, I was like, close the straight.
Starting point is 00:30:34 That was wild when they were asking the players about the straight. And I was like, guys, please. Soccer players have half a brain cell here. These are just the hottest athletes they have. Have you seen those eyebrows? I know. Relax. Why are soccer players so hot?
Starting point is 00:30:50 It's crazy. They're a Euro trash. They're all just Yeah. I think it must also just because like the kind of fit you have to be like
Starting point is 00:30:55 you can't be too bulky like you have to basically have like marathon runner build yeah I don't know man but the head I don't know what it is about the heads of hair
Starting point is 00:31:05 on these guys man speaking about you I don't know why we are so attractive yeah you know I don't know what it is man it's crazy all right
Starting point is 00:31:14 and finally in a shrewd sciop McDonald's to Taco Bell to throw gross some heat off of them. We've got to talk about the diarrhea lettuce every episode.
Starting point is 00:31:27 McDonald's is being sued for serving intensely hot fries to a woman in Bryant Park. Pretty funny. Causing her to seek medical aid after suffering mouth and tongue injuries. Case was filed on July 21st. So we're bringing this to you hot. Like the fries. Suggesting her trauma was due solely to the carelessness, recklessness, and negligence of the workers who prepared the fries.
Starting point is 00:31:53 This is a long-held tradition. Usually the way these stories go is it becomes a viral thing where it's like, do you hear what this woman got for spilling McDonald's coffee on her? And then you like find it like that. This is a story that we've talked about before, but the very famous story where it's like,
Starting point is 00:32:10 this woman won $480,000. I think it's usually people are like, won $10 million, but the truth is she eventually received $480,000. $1,000 for getting hot coffee, spilling hot coffee on her that had been served by McDonald's at a too hot temperature. It caused third degree burnt. Like, it's just, it's one of those stories where it's like, only in America would we be like, we're siding with McDonald's on this. You leave our special boy alone.
Starting point is 00:32:43 But how also, how do you eat French fries? If you took one bite and you're like, this one's hot, let me wait. Or you like, whew? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're like using that as like a vessel to just like suck every frying to your mouth. I'm like like fiber optic cable. Like I'm holding like 40 in one cylinder and just bundled cable of French fries. One frying too hot should let you know, take a second before you eat the rest.
Starting point is 00:33:04 I don't know the details of this one, okay? I'm just going to preemptively side with the person. I'm going over the McDonald's on. You always do. Yeah, honestly. They're never hot enough. I would say I'd rather be hot than cold. What I do for hot fries, they need to get me out there.
Starting point is 00:33:20 on a campaign. What I'd give for hot fries, ladies. Siphoning the fries out of the black. I like that you've turned my argument into I like cold fries. Yeah. I'd rather they be hot than cold. Gross ass flat. Anna and I were working out.
Starting point is 00:33:35 We want to be consultants for these companies. You like flasking cold fries. I like, I like them cold and limp like a earthworm just came out of the ground. I yeah. Out of the bag for the freezer. I'll get rare fries too. Medium rare, please. Medium rare.
Starting point is 00:33:54 Anyways, guys, test your fries. Test your fries, man. Just eat one. Yeah, that's right. But I do get it. I've also been starving and you're just like, fuck it and you eat something. And I can get how you get burned, but also that's whatever. That's on you.
Starting point is 00:34:08 Get your coins. Get your coins. Everybody get their coins, you know, we're taken from them. Hot coffee I buy. That's, that's bad. Yeah, that's, yeah. Like burning hot liquid can destroy. you, but a friend trying.
Starting point is 00:34:21 The coffee case caused third degree burns across 6% of her body. And McDonald's holler at me and Anna, because we're ready to do some really questionable social media posts. We will take this person down. Shout out McSnish side. We just play the video of women who burned her mouth. Stitch incoming. Okay, so I want to talk about this Friday.
Starting point is 00:34:42 More like snitch income. Be it because Luigi got snitched out at McDonald's. That's true. It's true. And also, she's a snitch about McDonald's prize being too hot. Yeah. Should have kept her mouth. Snitching on McD's?
Starting point is 00:34:59 That's a mistake. Also, I mean, like, are we still boycotting or not? Do we fall off on that? I haven't had McDonald's in a long time. Yeah, exactly. I don't live near one. And also, I just haven't even had the desire like I used to. Same.
Starting point is 00:35:14 I think it's because I looked at my blood pressure. And I was like, yeah, this is probably. It was like so low. It was, dude, So low that I can see under the skirt of the Ant. I was like, fuck, yeah, who else got up this high, bro? Putting up numbers.
Starting point is 00:35:26 Yeah. I'm the fucking goat. The goat was about to have a heart attack. I'm sorry, man. Those are some stories that are trending on this Wednesday afternoon. We're back tomorrow with a whole last episode of the show. Until then, be kind to each other. Be kind to yourself.
