Not really into bike tricks. That might not make sense.
Starting point is 00:02:23 But look up endo. Hi, I'm Miles. I'm joined by danil that's he's a dj yes with a problem he's calling in from los angeles uh thank you go on sir you're on the air dj danil oh i'm on the air right oh my gosh first time yes you are wow uh i can't i just wow such a huge fan they oh no oh no please it's the pleasure is mine to help people uh in need obviously so can you describe your hemorrhoids to us really quickly so we understand what the nature is of your problem uh bulbous i'm gonna cut you off right there and let's get into the things that are trending today on the internet everywhere uh michigan is trending and for the shittiest reason because there were
Starting point is 00:03:07 a bunch of armed goons storming the state capitol building uh demanding to enter the the state legislature so they could protest the extension of the lockdown um and it looks fucked up and frightening and i'm sure most most people had this question in their mind. And definitely every person of color had this question in their mind. I wonder what would happen if that group was... Wonder what would happen. Anyway, but we don't need to go into those hypotheticals to realize sort of what the stakes are at times in this country.
Starting point is 00:03:41 Or no, all the time. Yeah, it's fucking creepy, man. Just because politicians you know, the politicians were having to wear bulletproof vests. The police were just sort of like not arresting them. Like they're not, you know. Truly wild. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:03:56 That's what I, that's what is also very disheartening when you see how differently the police treatment is. Anyway. I mean, it should be surprising, but I mean, hopefully we last long enough that the history books can look back on this time and we can be embarrassed.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Rightfully so, because this is just like... Yeah. Yeah, well, they would need to... People would need to begin describing these people as terrorists more, I think, for that to actually hold some kind of weight in a historical context, because I think it'll be really easy
Starting point is 00:04:25 to just sort of sweep this under the rug. It's like, remember those couple of guys? It's like, no, I don't know. Those couple of guys. Yeah, and it doesn't seem to go away. Next, coming in at number two. Actually, this is in no particular order, so I don't want Mike Pence or Karen Pence
Starting point is 00:04:44 to feel like you know they hold a special place in my heart so again i don't know how many times we're gonna keep hearing about when mike pence did his future uh impersonation in the mayo clinic and went mask off but he uh this story has every day added a new dimension first it was people just saying like what the fuck is this guy doing and then he said oh you know i get tested for like every day so honestly like i'm good like i'm clean so like they actually want whatever i got to be honest um and now his wife has chimed in and has said that basically like the Dave Chappelle bit, apparently he didn't know he couldn't do that. Oh,
Starting point is 00:05:28 that's, that's what we're going with. They're feigning ignorance. They're claiming ignorance. The literal Dave Chappelle. I'm sorry, Mayo Clinic. I didn't know I couldn't do that.
Starting point is 00:05:39 So as she says, because again, mother had to show up to let people know. He has a note from mother to go raw daddy at the Mayo Clinic. Okay. Now, if you must know, let me tell you something. No, this is what it says. As our medical experts have told us, wearing a mask prevents you from spreading disease.
Starting point is 00:06:00 And knowing he doesn't have COVID-19, he didn't wear one. It was actually after he left Mayo Clinic that he found out they had a policy of asking everyone to wear a mask. So someone who's worked on this whole task force for over two months is not someone who would have done anything to offend anyone or hurt anyone or scare anyone. Of course. Of course. End quote.
Starting point is 00:06:24 So he would never want to hurt a fly. They told him it was the policy. or hurt anyone, or scare anyone. Of course. Of course. End quote. He would never want to hurt a fly. They told him it was the policy. He would never want to hurt a fly. Of course they did. And he wasn't even, again, I think, whatever you want to say, whether or not you've been tested every day of your life, just for someone who's been on a task force for this long,
Starting point is 00:06:40 you should know better than to act like, well, that's a great example, because now you're telling any other person who says, I think I got a negative test. Why do I need to wear a mask then? That's what it's for. Okay. Brilliant. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Five. Frustrating. Frustrating. Thank you so much for this just blazing commentary. I just, you know, you're really nailing all the takes and I'm just here to be your, your, your clapping backstand. Just be my conscience,
Starting point is 00:07:08 you know, and here's, here's a bad take. Here we go. Uh, Parks and Rec. Um, Parks and Rec,
Starting point is 00:07:16 they're having a reunion special. Cool. Uh, but this is actually kind of interesting. They're not just doing a thing where everyone's getting together and they're kind of like, member, member, like that episode. And it like like little sebastian like we had
Starting point is 00:07:29 like actually two different little sebastian's member um no they're they're actually kind of doing a an episode like a full episode in the reality of the show where everyone is dealing with social distancing and video messaging i believe believe. And that is airing tonight, I believe. Oh, okay, cool. Well, that'll be fun. We'll keep it there. One interesting thing that was in this article was saying how the creator, or like the EP, Michael Schur,
Starting point is 00:07:57 when he was reaching out to people, he got like responses from people very quickly. And then he said, when he was talking about, you know, he reached out to Adam Scott, Rashida Jones, Nick Offerman, Avi Plaza, et cetera, Chris Pratt. And he said,
Starting point is 00:08:08 when it came to Aziz Ansari, quote, I don't know what time of day I sent the email, but Aziz is in London and got back to me within half an hour and he doesn't even have
Starting point is 00:08:16 an email address anymore. I don't know what that means. Wait, what? Hold on. He got back to him in half an hour saying he doesn't have an email address anymore?
Starting point is 00:08:29 So how did you email? Apparently his apparently his assistant he says ansari's assistant will forward notes to him that's baller okay big timer damn dude i'm time for emails fool dude hey assistant what does this email say i don't think i could ever that's so i like that's so sad bro i'm living in a time right now where i have plenty of time and yeah once has it crossed my mind to be like you know what i just i need my emails you know i mean if my life's that popping i kind of like you'd like an email you want know things. You want people to reach out to you. I'm not trying to cut myself off socially. I don't know, man. This, I mean,
Starting point is 00:09:09 this also contributes, throwing back to a classic cracked article from the god Jack O'Brien about, you know, people who get famous at a certain age just like stop their technology learning at that point. And so that's why Eminem
Starting point is 00:09:23 didn't learn about porn until 2009. And like Jennifer Aniston didn't even like, you know, know how to use social media until she just joined Instagram. It's like that kind of thing where it's like, you just get this idea in your head that I don't need to anymore. Hey dude, I don't need to do anything anymore.
Starting point is 00:09:38 Including email. You are just flawlessly subbing in that J-O-B energy. You know, what can I say, say man i i i've studied his words and his voice for a long time and uh you know uh you know some might say you're closer than we'd ever imagine even genetically even um finally j crew is trend owing because they might be endoan uh and not and not on a suzuki damn damn um they are i think it's what it looks like is they are preparing for a bankruptcy filing okay um that sucks i mean i i only wore j crew clothing when i worked in politics because that was the most swag you could have being around old white people.
Starting point is 00:10:27 The nicest looking, I'm not sure. Probably wearing J.Crew. Anything beyond that, any more fashionable, they're like, oh. Oh, no. Yeah, no. Must be one of those rappers' girlfriends or something. One of those youths. You're the youth vote.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Got to get out there. So that means. Voter, rapper, something like that. What else they got? What's that other brand they do? J.Crew? Madewell. J.Crew is Madewell? Oh, man. I don't know any of this shit.
Starting point is 00:10:54 It's like the car companies. It's all the same shit. Is that Gap? Probably. This is the deal. I saw a tweet today of someone that was actually talking about garment companies and manufacturers that a lot of manufacturing has been halted. So some companies have left these workers on the hook for payment for work they've already done, for orders they've made. for payment for work they've already done for orders they've made.
Starting point is 00:11:23 And yeah, Gap Inc. is basically in a great group of companies that have canceled and refused to pay garment workers for orders that have already been completed as have Arcadia, which is Topshop, Topman,
Starting point is 00:11:39 Nis Selfridge, ASOS, CNA, these other brands. It's just fucked up. Disappointing. Anyway, so that is what's going on today, Dan.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Heck yeah, that sounds good. Thanks for hopping on this safari, Brit. Miles, gosh, just to be in the boat that you're driving, a pleasure. I feel like it's all calm seas. I'm captaining, actually. I'm captaining a boat.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Yes. You are the captain now, as they say. Thank you. Tom Hanks in that movie. And I do say that under my breath whenever Jack says, I'm not going to be able to make that recording. And he's like, what? I'm like, nothing, dude.
Starting point is 00:12:23 Have a good call. All right, Maine. Excellent. i'll talk to you later talk to the rest of you all later please be well please treat each other kindly with love treat yourself with love more importantly love it uh please stretch be careful of your vibrations yes you know all right kay hasn't heard from her sister in seven years.
