Hello, the internet, and welcome to this episode of potty trending.
Starting point is 00:02:42 That one courtesy of Ty Torres on the Discord. Damn. Potty trending? No, thank you. Potty letting be free. Potty intuiting. That's what we're talking about over her. Let the child take a dump and buy some diapers.
Starting point is 00:03:02 You know, that's really the big name of the game. Or also just let the child lead. Let the child lead you to the diaper aisle. I think they should have, this is in reference to a story from yesterday's, or this morning's episode about how potty training used to be a thing you did in like before 18 months. And then Pamper's was like, but we have all of these fun diapers that we can sell in bigger sizes and make money.
Starting point is 00:03:30 And so they just got a guy on board. Yeah. To just tell them to create this new version of potty training where it's like, you shouldn't force it. Don't force it, guys. Like three, four, they can still be shit in their pants. You know what they're going to like? Pampers, size six.
Starting point is 00:03:47 They're going to love those. Get them in a pair of those. Like, I think they should have pamper's that with like, because you know they have like, Sesame Street themed and stuff like that. I think it should go up to like Wutang Clan themed. Like it should go all the way. Roman Empire.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Napoleon. Yeah. Dinosaur. All the way up the Napoleon. I got my bird watching pamper. Sourdough pamper's, whatever midlife hobby you have.
Starting point is 00:04:22 My name is Jack O'Brien. That over there is Mr. Miles Gray. Yeah. Yeah. that's just reminded me of my ODB pamper's yeah there you go Roman sandal pamper's uh Brian Brian the editor in the house this is the episode where you tell you what is trending on this Wednesday October 14th as the midterms are looming that's what they're doing right about now I think they're
Starting point is 00:04:53 looming stage the Lumen onion um um um inflation is getting not better. It's getting worse. Yeah. I think they use the word hot. They're like inflation heated up. He's heating up. No.
Starting point is 00:05:10 He's on fire. Our stress is going higher. I think that's the way to talk about it. But yeah, yeah, yeah. Was it 3.7% or something? Yeah, it was higher than expected, Miles. Well, than expected. You said expected this.
Starting point is 00:05:24 Yes, of course, of course, yeah. They should just raise their expectations a little bit. Anyways, and people are wondering, is Donald Trump going to, like, change tack? Is he going to come up with a new angle? And he may have just done that. Late last night, he was retweeting videos of himself, fighting tigers,
Starting point is 00:05:48 or I don't know if these were actually retweets. These might have been, like, original creations. He did retweet the video of there was the tragedy, where the person having a mental health crisis in the UK went into a tiger enclosure and was killed. He retweeted that and was like, hey, don't mess with nature, DJT. Ha ha ha. Like just,
Starting point is 00:06:09 just like private chat, like 80 people in their 80s in the private chat type shit. This guy isn't a, like I think it's shocking when you're like, the president would never, could never do something like that. This guy is not a fucking president. He's not a president.
Starting point is 00:06:23 You know what I mean? And I don't even mean that to say like, so we need to accept that. But I think we really need to sort of wrap our heads around that this kind of leadership, you should not be making the same kinds of expectations when you thought there was like a traditional president. Yeah. This is an out of their mind old man at like in the emergence of the AI slop era. And he's, that's all he's doing.
Starting point is 00:06:45 He's just fucking putting himself into national shit and being like, ha ha, ha. Yeah, a lot of Bullworth debates happening. Like, is this guy trying to lose or is he mentally unwell? And it's like, no, this is his fastball. This is what his fastball looks like at this point. This is as good as he's got. Yeah. No, 100%.
Starting point is 00:07:04 He's not doing anything. But at this point, nothing is by design. Everything is impulsive. Everything is reactionary. It's just that sometimes the moves end up having an effect that's beneficial to him. And then I would say nine times out of 10, he's posting this kind of shit where everyone's like, this is fucking disgusting, this fucking person away from us. I got to say, man.
Starting point is 00:07:25 And also famous people, we like to imagine they got superpowers. And it feels like they're all dumb. They're all dumb. They're all dumb and rich. Yeah. Anyways, other midterm news, somebody's getting the tele freakouts. Oh, I mean, look, Ken Paxton, he's doing James Tala Rico a giant favor by being one of the creepiest, unlikable candidates in GOP, Senate history, I think, in Texas, probably.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Yeah. A video just released about how he was with like a literal fugitive from American law in Dubai, like yucking it up on New Year's Eve like last year. And they're like, this guy's a fucking scumbag. I don't know. Do we need more evidence? The race is tight, though. The polls have Paxton slightly behind while others have them tied.
Starting point is 00:08:15 But even the lead is within the margin of error. So I think, you know, it's really going to ultimately come down to turnout. But again, the margins are so thin. and it must be clear to the White House because J.D. Vance has begun just doing his own projections, I guess. I was going to say he's attacking Tala Rico, but now I'm like, I think he's just projecting is what is actually going on because he wants to try and make Tala RICO out to be some kind of, you know, either a pedophile or gay person. And these last two comments that he made on Tuesday, just doubling down on all kinds of weird stuff. So here's Vance saying that because Talariko is sympathetic towards trans people, I wouldn't want to see his search history
Starting point is 00:08:58 because he might be, you know, yeah. So here's J.D. Vance casting aspersions on James Tala Rico's potential search history. I don't even know where he's going with this. You said that you wouldn't want to see Tolariko's search history. What do you mean by that? Well, he's just a guy who shows a weird focus on transgender kids and drag queens. Oh.
Starting point is 00:09:22 I think he said something to the effect of. of an 11-year-old in drag was a great side or a very beautiful thing. It just, he says a lot of weird stuff. A great side? Who say stuff like that tend to have some pretty unusual search histories. Maybe he doesn't. Just guessing. Wait, people who have a weird obsession with trans people and drag queens and children's sexuality,
Starting point is 00:09:49 that's so interesting. That's so interesting. Like, as your therapist. best j d vance that's so interesting that you say that yeah because that is you yeah that's hmm odd yeah if you if you if you like are interested in the humanity of other people you're probably some kind of sex criminal i think is kind of the line i'm drawn here because it's also i mean j d vance i don't know how new he is to catholicism but i think in terms of like the most direct line from occupation to likelihood of being a sex predator is actually priest.
Starting point is 00:10:29 So, you know, I feel like every fucking week I read about some pastor or some priest who's getting done for fucking child porn or some other weird shit. Yeah, man. But again, go on about how people who, again, are supporting the fucking members of their community. You're trying to contort that into something like, this guy's a pervert. Sure, dickhead. So if that wasn't enough of a knockout blow To Talar Rico Check his search history
Starting point is 00:10:55 Like that that is so Somebody telling on themselves being like I mean he seems to have a weird obsession With the things that I clearly have a weird obsession with I'd hate to see his search history Because I bet he like doesn't know how to clear The cashes on his search history Yeah
Starting point is 00:11:10 Also he's such a new about like looking at porn He Googles shit Yeah He's like maybe I can find on Google So I can get off on shit How are journalists, like if we, you know, the BBC was talking about how we need young Gen Z, we need to appeal to young Gen Z. Like there should be a Gen Z person there just being like, can I check your search history? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:31 Let's do that. Dude, that was. Bro, that was weird. What do you tell us something from your search history? That was weird as fuck. Such a weird thing that you just brought up. Yeah. Seems, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:40 I would love to check that out from you, my God. What kind of stuff do you look at? You look at born, dude? Yeah. You into that? Probably. right? Hey, man, a lot of people do. I'd just be fascinated. I saw that
Starting point is 00:11:52 it's like that remember that scene in the Simpsons where Mo was being interrogated? I think it was when the Who shot Mr. Burns episode and he's like when he was on the lie detector and he's like, ah, I got to get out of here because I got a date later. He's like, I got a hot date tonight and the lie detector goes off. He's like, ah, he's like, I mean
Starting point is 00:12:09 a date. I mean dinner with a friend. Dinner alone. All right, all right. I'm going to go home and I'm going to ogle the girls in the Victoria's Secret Catalog. Sears Catalog. Ding, ding. That's what,
Starting point is 00:12:24 J.D. You are ogling the furniture in the Sears catalog, probably. That's right. So anyway, then he then later, just that same day,
Starting point is 00:12:31 goes on to make another fucking comment, like, comment about, like, being a, like, platonically being, like,
Starting point is 00:12:38 loving his bro, but he's not, I don't know, this is just so stupid, fucking nonsense. But here's J.D. Vance that same day. Be like,
Starting point is 00:12:45 check this out. Now, Before we get started, I love you too, sir. In a totally platonic way. To be clear. To be clear. I'm the vice president, not James Tala Rico. But I got a...
Starting point is 00:13:02 Wow. Good stuff. It's good stuff. I'm the vice president, not James Tala Rico. Hey, I love you too, man. In a platonic way. That's good stuff, man. also don't look up pictures of me and drag when I was younger either those are going around that was a Halloween bit and shouldn't that thing should be gleaned from that at all so
Starting point is 00:13:26 great projection from J.D. Vance and then also in Tala Rico news one of those like mouth breathers that was like retweeting and really pushing on the gotcha story with Tala Rico and the mental institution ruse he's clearly been touched by a legal threat because he came out and made a big apology. There's a few other people who are involved who are doing various things like saying,
Starting point is 00:13:49 no comment. I don't want to get into legal hot water. This guy came out. Carmine Sabia said, I apologize for sharing the false report about James Tala Rico receiving mental health treatment.
Starting point is 00:14:00 I relied on the reporting available then, but I got it wrong and reach, I retract it. I support Ken Paxton, but the truth matters more than winning on a lie and then posted a huge graphic that says, correction.
Starting point is 00:14:11 The claim that James Tolariko received treatment, at an Ohio mental health facility was false. The Lindner Center of Hope says he has never received treatment there. His documented public appearances in Texas also contradict the alleged timeline. Wow. The earlier claim is retracted. Getting the facts right matters.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Carmine Sabia. I mean, that feels like he had his hand behind his back. Like that is like, what else? No, what else? You know, Carmine. Damn, they got you like that, Carmine. I mean, the lawyers, I bet Tilarico's lawyer, they must have sent him like, a picture of him sleeping, like, in his own bedroom.
Starting point is 00:14:46 They're like, you know, we took this shit, right? Or like an AI rendering of him living. A enthusiastic disavowal of something that you were saying with your whole chest now. Yeah, AI rendering of him living in a storm drain. And he's like, this is you if you don't apologize right. God damn now. So, yeah. Let's take a quick break.

Sometimes we'll talk about that weird news story from last week. It's the one you're thinking about, trust me. Or maybe we'll talk about music and what's happening.

And I'm Lisa Di Giulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references, occasionally different opinions. And at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all. I'm not going to get anywhere fighting. That is wild.
Starting point is 00:17:10 I learned that about you today. Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is. is my business and I've always got something to say. If men were just honest about this, there would be so much more peace in the world. We're gonna talk about dating, relationships, beauty, getting older, and a little wiser. We're best friends, but we don't always agree.
Starting point is 00:17:31 Because you told us how accommodating you are. Obviously I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight, but there's only so much fight I can fight. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Liar. Listen on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I don't really care. I'm Lacey Mosley, author, actor, stand-up comedian, creator, and host of Scam Goddess Podcast. The True Crime Comedy Podcasts all about robbery, fraud, and those who practice it. Each week I bring on incredible guests like Conan O'Brien, Iowa Debris, Lamorne Morris, and Nicole Byer. Ooh, I scammed them. What?

Starting point is 00:18:46 Start listening to Scam Goddess on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. There are thousands of podcasts that can tell you how to better yourself. Get Worse with Kyle Pru is not one of those podcasts. So if you're interested in getting thinner, going to therapy, starting peptides, setting boundaries, taking supplements, making your better, getting closure, then I would humbly recommend other podcasts. But if you're interested in blackmail, love bombing, cloning yourself, or getting revenge, then we've got a little something something for a dastardly individual like you. Take a listen to some of the incredible advice we've given so far.
Starting point is 00:19:23 Fake a back injury. Get the spray tan, up your alcohol consumption. Only women should be allowed to have guns. Kill them. Kill them for the gun. Listen, it's already over. I'm all about lying if it's something that really happened. The next time a bear is running at you, you just calmly stop what you're doing,
Starting point is 00:19:41 you look the bear in the eye, and you say this isn't you. Do not preserve relationships. You don't need them. You only need one thing, and that's the Get Worse podcast. Listen to Get Worse with Kyle Pru on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And we're back. And it's fall, which means the air is colder. The leaves are changing color.
Starting point is 00:20:11 And you might be killed by a giant inflatable pumpkin. Oh, God. Not by me. No, nothing is happening. out here. It's 82 today. There's like two days. There are two days. That was fall. Don't worry. It was like a day and a half actually. Our neck break weather in L.A. We're going to have like, it's going to be 90 on Friday and then and then rainy on Tuesday. Yeah, yeah. Great. I love it. But yeah, an inflatable pumpkin the size of a house somehow got loose from a North Carolina farm hosting its annual Pumpkin Fest and started rolling down the street. Someone managed to stop it before it did any damage. But it, uh, Gotta have your head on a so little, man.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Dude, this thing is fucking huge. Yeah. I've seen videos where people think like a big bouncy ball is something you can fucking stand in front of and then get absolutely leveled. Yeah. Sent in the other direction. Like it's a kickoff at the beginning of a football game. Brave American.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Yeah, some brave American chased it down. An Uber driver. Look, the best among us. See. Where's the fucking cops? Yeah. You know? This is, the cops are to live.
Starting point is 00:21:17 love to fucking shoot this thing. Oh yeah. They would have still somehow missed. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. And fucking just shot up a bunch of like fucking pumpkins in the background. Yeah, this is every, every shot somehow misses like the scene in Pulp Fiction where the, they're just like, how? Wait, I was standing like five feet away from this thing. People, please, secure your inflatables.
Starting point is 00:21:40 Secure your inflatables. I saw like, uh, do we have to say this. Oh, man, I saw a little bounce house going down. the street the other day. Like not too bad. You know, it was Wendy a couple days ago. And it was just, it wasn't like a disastrous thing. It was just, it was just leaving a yard with like, and people were like, oh, shit, shit, shit.
Starting point is 00:21:59 And they like, you know, nobody in it. I'm hoping. There was like a kid in it, but there were 30 adults who reacted, like, who were like literally just anchoring it down. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it was one of those things where I was like, God, what? Because there are sometimes, I've been at children's birthday parties where the bounce house is treated as, like, like, well, the bounce house, they're in the bounce house, so we at least know where they are. Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:22:23 And that always ends in disaster. There's always a kid coming out of there, crying. There's something evil that happens to children. Oh, yeah. Yeah, because you're like a full lord of the flies. 100% because you're in a, like, a padded room. So suddenly being shoved to the ground isn't like a potential injury. Yeah, it's like shoving someone. And I think it's funny. It's like, I think everyone has those moments. moments, there was like, there was definitely a meme that I, I shared, like, with one of my pieces of media of, like, when you, like, fuck up your younger cousin in a bounce house and, like, you went, you went way too rough with them, and they start crying, like, shut the fuck up, no, no, no, no, no, my fucking dad, grandpa, and your dad's gonna fucking kill me.
Starting point is 00:23:02 Just fuck up, please. Yeah, push me, dude, fucking push me, push me, man, make it fair, push me. That is the move. That is definitely the move. Eye for an eye, dude, if you fucking push me then, bro, just fucking push me down. And I'm not recognizing that in myself. I'm recognizing that in my older, It was like, Jack, push me.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Push me. Hit me. Oh, man, you hit me so hard. Damn. And then you start laughing a little bit and they're like, okay, do it again. Do it again. See, good. Oh, man. See how good that felt?
Starting point is 00:23:30 Oh, my God. Please don't tell Uncle Jim, please. Yeah, they were scared of my dad. Dad. All right. Let's talk Kim Gilfoyle. Kim, Guilty A.F. Oil.
Starting point is 00:23:43 Oh, no. Yeah. Yeah. A new name just dropped in my mind right now because I'm bored. This was a big piece of news That the Zachariah Zachariah Oh you know also
Starting point is 00:23:55 There the White House is still They still don't know what the fuck to say About her like Her legal stuff They just keep putting out vague things And they're like she did it When she was in China with her husband And then she was like
Starting point is 00:24:09 I practiced transactional law With all the proper Creditations So she went to law school And then like read a couple contracts it seems like yeah and i think a lot of people were saying like maybe she thinks just because she has the jd that she's think she's big tough law person but in fact um she is not so anyway she was not never was so kim gilfoil uh the wall street journal has some more details on her final
Starting point is 00:24:38 moments uh before she was we did here she was asked to resign in the in the press conference yes so like there was definitely a build up because over the weekend two people were being asked. Trump was like, I don't like it. The story, basically. The receipts were just so. Yeah. We talked about this last week, but she was on wax just being like, hey, no, you can't do this. We're trying to cover it up. We're trying to do a quid pro quo for my credit card bill.
Starting point is 00:25:05 We're trying to do money crimes here. Would you stop leave? Like literally she's like, stop leaving a paper trail. Yeah, exactly. I wish you would please, I wish you would stop papering everything. You think it was the term she said? And then the guy like CC'd her podcast producer with the dumb agreement. Anyway, so apparently her main defense against the allegations of her, you know, really sorted signal chats doing pred quo quos that was leaked. She said, she told President Trump, she said, it was all faked with AI, Mr. President. It was all fake.
Starting point is 00:25:40 Not to mention we're already hearing other stories about how she was trying to shake down some Greek people for 250,000 also. It's like, this is, look, I have a feeling that you saw what the family does and you tried to do your own version, but you don't have the same cloud. So when you start fucking around, like, this shit will just come by you in the ass. Yeah, it's like you are not the president. An astronaut coming back down to earth and not really being able to operate under the laws of our harsh gravity. It's like she was part of the Trump administration, you know, part of the Trump family for a little bit. And then she got back down and she's like, wait, why isn't this just magically disappear?
Starting point is 00:26:14 Oh, yeah, no, no, no, no, yeah. Sorry, your last name is still gwill file? Yeah, yeah, no, that's not Trump at all. And not only that, there was this little tidbit, which was very interesting. Earlier this month, this is according to the Daily Mail, earlier this month, she asked the State Department whether they could get an article in the daily mail removed from the internet. The article suggested she didn't pay a 1,586 euro tab for two cases of champagne and
Starting point is 00:26:44 dinner. State Department officials asked if she could provide a receipt for the bill showing she paid, but she didn't provide one. Wow. So, yeah. Yeah. The State Department was out on her. They're like, yeah, no, that's great. We'd love to have it removed. Could you just show us the receipt where you paid for it? Ah, hold on. She just starts patting her pockets. Like you're wearing a skirt. Ah, shit. I forgot for fucking, I fucking left it at the Champaign dinner place. they probably have it. Why do we think the, no, oh, that, that was AI. Defense has not been employed more and worked more.
Starting point is 00:27:24 I think there's just too many people that can corroborate. You know what I mean? Like, Eric Dieter's clearly has the text, too. He's out here saying he's about to sue her for defamation. This guy is so pissed with this whole everything going wrong in his life that I think Kim Gilfoyle is going to be the person that he's going to take it out on in court. I think also, too, it's just like it's one of those things, where it'd be one thing if you were doing something so out there that it didn't seem like you,
Starting point is 00:27:49 that you might be like, oh, was that AI? Too in character. Yeah. Right. But like obviously, if you see me, you know, freaking Laura Lumer at the club, that's not AI. You know what I mean? It is a devastating accusation. I was raving about that video of that Quebec qua boy.
Starting point is 00:28:07 And Super Producer Catherine was like, I think that's AI? And immediately defla- I'm like, God, damn. I'm a fucking idiot. I'm a fucking idiot. You're like some Shakespeare. The raccoons on the trampoline all over again. There's got to be like,
Starting point is 00:28:22 I don't know enough Shakespeare, but there's got to be like a guy who was losing his mind. Was that Hamlet or Macbeth or one of them? It's just like, is nothing real? This little boy with a voice of gold. But to her credit, it did look like when they use AI to up res old footage,
Starting point is 00:28:38 which is why I had that sheen. It was just too perfect. It did turn out that it was a real video. But yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. It's just like, it works on an inter, same thing with that, that photo of Messi and the Spanish, the best player on the Spain team, right ahead of the World Cup final. Like somebody was like, oh, dude, you believe that? No, that's AI. That photo of them being together. And I was a meet, like, there's no way for like 15 seconds. You're just like, oh, yeah, fuck, I'm an idiot. Damn, I fell for it. It's a devastating thing to do to somebody. for 15 seconds. Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:18 It is a fucked up way to just kind of lightly gaslight someone. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's probably how it's being used in another fucked up ways, just be like, dude, that's AI. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:28 I mean, it is a really annoying part of AI is that we just don't know what's real anymore. So it like takes a little bit of a sheen off all media at this point. Yeah, that's what I'm like,
Starting point is 00:29:40 nah, bro, coming to me in person. I gotta see with my eyes. But I watch that. that scene from the Ben Affleck movie where the kid goes flying like at the bottom of the hill and I was like I actually don't know if that was a real stunner if it was AI. I remember I knew. Okay, this makes sense because last night I think listeners should know this.
Starting point is 00:29:59 You texted me around like nine at night and he said, just hug your kids a little bit tighter tonight. And I'm guessing it's because you were so shook by that scene that you're like, did you imagine? Could you imagine? This is crazy. Look at this. And then someone was like, I think that's AI. I was like, fell to my knees.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Hey, is nothing real anymore. These feelings ain't AI. I'll tell you that. And finally, Zeron is making the NYPD angry by asking for review of a 20, 24 killing of a young man who had a mental health crisis. Yeah, it's like, it's coming on the heels of a lot of things, right? there was this guy that was killed by the police in 2024 before he took office. Then there was the ice shooting that happened recently and the cops were just fucking batting up people who were just fucking being like, what the fuck is going on?
Starting point is 00:30:53 And, you know, typical police being overly violent with people in the community. So this is now like the first use of force review that has happened in over 10 years. And so the officer involved with that killing skated on a loophole, which is another, like, why they're looking at this. This is quote, last week an officer facing disciplinary charges for Rosario's death was allowed to retire with a disability pension, avoiding a trial on misconduct charges brought by the civilian complaint review board. The NYPD said a civilian employee should have notified the police oversight board so the officer's retirement could have been paused until a trial. Mamdani said the review will take place over the coming months and include a robust community engagement process. He said, when the government uses force against a New Yorker, the standard of account for accountability must be at its high.
Starting point is 00:31:41 the administration is rolling out a package of reforms, including implementing a new notification system to ensure disciplinary processes are completed before an officer retires. The NYPD will standardize how it shares information with families and the public following critical incidents. So, yeah, rather than just like, just brushing them to the, okay, go to me. Yeah, that all seems pretty reasonable to me. I was ready to hear based on what I'm hearing from my friends at the NYPD, Union.
Starting point is 00:32:12 At the benevolent association. Yeah, but they, they told me they were benevolent. So I assumed they were cool. But yeah, from what I heard, he was going to war with them. What aspect of that is going to war? I mean, I think, again, you know, Zoran has had the critics from people to the left of him for a number of things. And I think a lot of the things, too, people have to realize is, like, he's running New York City. Not like a small fiefdom where he can just, like, run roughshot over what?
Starting point is 00:32:41 whatever's happening. I get how he's doing things incrementally, but I also get the frustration of people wanting more intense changes. Certain decisions, but. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is the shit he's dealing with. But I think you also have to see him as a transitional type of politician. It's like you need these kinds of people to get to sort of like the real, the real red meat part of it. So yeah, the police benevolent association president Patrick Hendry said, quote, we have brought several examples of the CCRB. This is the civilian complaint. review board. This is where non-cops
Starting point is 00:33:14 take a look at shit. Several examples of their dysfunction and anti-police bias to the attention of the mayor and his team. We've seen zero meaningful action in those areas. Oh no. Right. So what's happened exactly? What's the injury here? That people
Starting point is 00:33:30 are being held to account for their fucking actions? People are complaining. That's annoying. The mayor's radical base wants a wholesale dismantling of the NYPD and it's clear this announcement is an attempt to appease them. It won't work and it won't make
Starting point is 00:33:45 New Yorkers any safer. Actually, the crime rate has been going down measurably. Yeah. So I'm not sure if you fuckwits want to take credit for that or what. Then another Scott Monroe from the detectives union said, Mayor Mumdani
Starting point is 00:34:01 would rather empower and fund agencies like the biased anti-police CCRB, the civilian complaint review board. Just a civilian complaint review board. where you review the civilian complaints. Yeah. And defund and dismantle vital units across the NYPD instead of being a leader who supports the men and women in blue who keep our city safe.
Starting point is 00:34:24 Those are the only two options. You can either blindly and wholeheartedly support anything the police do or you're going to war with them. Or you're dismantling the entire concept of law enforcement. There's no, yeah, good luck, asshole. If somebody is robbing you, good luck, because we can't do anything. anything now because there's a civilian review board. Come on, Mayor, it's back to blue no matter
Starting point is 00:34:48 who we kill. Right. That's kind of the deal. And also, complaining that an independent civilian review board that, like, rightly calls out your transgressions as fucking bias is rich, considering most of the time
Starting point is 00:35:03 when cops are doing any kind of internal investigation or review, they're doing it themselves. Yeah, yeah. They're like, ah, he's a good guy. That's the extent of the... Yeah, he's actually my cousin's friend. He's a good guy. He's a good kid. He's a good kid.
