Starting point is 00:03:45 listen to decoding women's health with dr elizabeth pointer on the iHeart radio app apple podcast or wherever you get your podcasts hello the internet and welcome to this episode of Trendbo parties that was courtesy of New Chris on the Discord and courtesy of Oprah Oh, okay
Starting point is 00:04:09 Oprah's producer who went and did some deep dive boots on the ground reporting interviewed a bunch of nine to 15 year old girls and we're like Hey so this girl over here said something
Starting point is 00:04:25 about rainbow parties. What's that? and just like, yes anded them into an urban legend, essentially. It's that easy. It's like same way the Paul brothers end up at the Pentagon. I was like, hey, kid, what's cool? Yeah? Okay, good, man. All right, here they are.
Starting point is 00:04:42 Two confused brothers from Ohio. Next, Secretary of Defense. Jake and Logan. Sorry, I'm sorry. Yeah. I'm sorry. I'm so just thoroughly soy that I can. can't even get with these more manly times that we live them.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Yeah. Anyways, that one courtesy of Newchris on the Discord. I would have also accepted Rainbow Trendy's. But, and New Chris submitted both. But I think Trendbo parties was right. Yeah, Trendbo parties the way to go. Anyways, sorry if I sound a little distracted. I've just been watching Trump TV for nonstop.
Starting point is 00:05:27 I know, man, dude. And then... Top-knock shit. Where you, like, everybody go, all right, Trump... Wait, what's Trump... What? What?
Starting point is 00:05:34 What's going on? Because basically, after he banned the networks or, you know, CNN, MS now, and the like from covering him, he then announced Trump TV coming at you. And everyone's like, what the fuck is this state-owned television nonsense?
Starting point is 00:05:52 Well, I think everyone's first question is, what is it even? It's a YouTube channel. It's a YouTube live stream. And what time is that on? And what time is YouTube on? YouTube is on. This is the thing, man.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Whatever you like, man. What? Whatever you like. Yep. Yep. Whatever you like, it's on. And I was like, what the fuck? It's basically, it's like old, like rally speeches,
Starting point is 00:06:17 some announcements of what's happening in the country, but like not in any, like, really polished way. And like, they were like old speeches for that like Melania gave a year ago about AI. it's not. It's just like a look through like someone's phone essentially. It's like what? Here's all the videos I have for the past couple years.
Starting point is 00:06:37 I don't know. I'd imagine it's, it's what you would do to deceive an octogenarian into believing he has a TV channel about himself. And it's not just a YouTube live stream that it's full on.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Oh yeah, you want to put the channel on, sir? Here we go. I just don't look at I'm going to YouTube.com. And again, let's just see, what's live right now. There it is. And again, we've talked about this with regards to the Iran
Starting point is 00:07:01 war that you can see a marked difference between like what's actually happening and then what he says is happening. And on one hand, you're like, I, he's delusional. He's old. He doesn't understand things. On the other hand, I think to your point, it's people just being like, yes, sir, we gave you a TV, a TV, because the promotion for Trump TV that they dropped on X from the white house account were like clips of Seinfeld and the Simpsons. Yeah. So like I think he actually thought that like it was going to be a T like he's like yeah, so TV, uh, that's the thing with old episodes of the Simpsons and Seinfeld.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Yes. Yep. Yep. Yeah. I, man, it's, it's a tough watch. And when it started, it had like 8,000 viewers. Now, I just watched, uh, while Trump was speaking at the UN, not even 2,000 viewers on it. And I'm sure a lot of that,
Starting point is 00:07:58 but if you're smart and working for the president, you better be paying for bots to make it look like more people are watching. Yeah, this is kind of fuck for. 2000, come on,
Starting point is 00:08:06 bro. Or maybe that is all, maybe that's pure bots. As we'll see later with the freedom festival, you know, when it comes to unfakable butts and seats, uh, actually paying to be there.
Starting point is 00:08:19 It's not going so well. No. For the mega, for the mega crew. Um, it's not going to be able for anybody. Yeah. We'll dig in a little bit.
Starting point is 00:08:26 a little bit more to Trump TV on tomorrow's episode with Blake Wexler. But not that Blake is like an investigative journalist. We just have a story. He's so funny. He's like, he's like modern day muckraker. He's like, guys, I got it. I got to report this somewhere. Got to get this bootstrap reporting out. It's a YouTube channel. Blake, is that it? Blake, come on, man. He already talked about that. But no, our writer, J.M. went and looked into some of Trump's past television ambitions. and there's some good shit that I had completely missed, including a novel that includes the phrase, I've died and gone to boob heaven.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Great, I can't wait. A 900-page novel that we believe is written by Donald Trump. Anyways, we will talk about that on tomorrow's episode. So you said you watched the live stream of President Trump. My President Trump addressing the UN. Watching more than I go. watching more than I care to like. I mean, so the best part was to start when he got to the UN,
Starting point is 00:09:31 CNN's Caitlin Collins is like, hey, motherfucker, two-thirds of the U.S. is against the Iran war. They think you suck, man. Yeah, when's the war ending? He literally, he was like, you're not supposed to be here. He was like acting like some bully. He was like the fugitive when he walked in.
Starting point is 00:09:47 He was like, they switched the samples. He's like, my friend, my friend Richard is unwell. He was truly like, what do you do? doing here? Like, you're not supposed to be here. She's like, I'm credentialed by the United Nations. And he was like, yeah, well, I thought I killed you. Yeah, it feels very much like, again, you're dealing with a child who you're just like, don't worry, the bad lady won't be beat. Well, she won't come into the office anymore, okay?
Starting point is 00:10:12 And then you see the bad lady at the U.N. and your complete, your head is completely spun. Um, anyway, then his speech was just like level nine fucked up, otherwise known as normal, uh, for his public. addresses, again, threatened to wipe out his words, Iran, but to the usual, but I think they don't want that, and I don't want that. So we'll make a deal right after the midterms. And like, what the fuck? What? Right after the midterms? Right after, right after, if you, if you vote for me, we're going to actually fix it. But we're, so is, yeah, I'm trying to think through the logic of that. Is he, is there a logic to him being like, we'll fix it right after the
Starting point is 00:10:55 terms? I think this is, I don't know. Is he saying like Iran? There's no logical connection to the war ending somehow. Well, we got to wait till the midterms to wrap this thing up that's causing a global energy crisis. So based on the fact that he's like, yeah, he's like, bad ladies here and I have my own TV channel.
Starting point is 00:11:16 If that's what is sort of front of mind for him, then he must think that he's got everybody, he's holding everyone hostage. and he's like, keep us in, keep us in the majority in Congress, and I'll end it. I won't. But maybe that will sound like a carrot on a stick. It's, I don't know. I mean, it feels very normal for where he's at mentally, but confusing because, again, like, to you and I were like, I don't understand what the connection is between the two,
Starting point is 00:11:44 unless you're just saying, this is carrot on stick. Please vote. Please clap. They switch the samples so they can bring you, what was it called? Yeah. So he proved Devlin McGregor could give you a provasic. Anyways, deep cut fugitive reference for you guys. But I do love that he's in the seeing a ghost phase thing.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Yeah. And I think just more like very inconvenienced and irritated. Yeah, because it's supposed to be here. Yeah. I mean, again, with the Iran War, obviously we're not seeing an end to it because there's no, he has no real options to end the war that don't end in his year. humiliation. So it's his ego because of that. I don't know. And because no one in no one in the Republican Party is willing to fucking do anything about it. Yeah, it's the solution. We're not sure
Starting point is 00:12:37 what exactly that's going to look like. And then he also big up to himself during that speech for like stealing $65 billion worth of oil from Venezuela. Like this is a thing where he's like, I signed one of the biggest deals that's good for the U.S. and Venezuela, $65 billion. People actually have no idea where the money has gone from this transaction. Like, they're like, where, yeah, okay, where is it? Who has it? Who has that money? Is it anywhere? Who has it? Do you have it?
Starting point is 00:13:04 Is it real? I mean, I would have to think he has it somewhere. Yeah. This would be my guess. I would as well. He also amused about taking over Cuba. Putin was that like Putin um, hides his money in people around him,
Starting point is 00:13:19 you know? And so like Putin, by the end of his run, has become actually the richest person in the world, but it's just we don't know it because it's like hidden in the accounts of people around. Yeah, there's a cellist who is like Putin's favorite cellist who like has $7 billion. Yeah, he's good at cello, bro.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Yeah. It's just Putin steals money and gives it to people around him and then can have those people killed anytime he wants. It's like Trump is at the stage of just being like, I don't know, we'll stick a little. bit of it over here. Right. Maybe it's in Cuba.
Starting point is 00:13:57 I don't know. I mean, just like what he's doing is just pure bully nonsense. You know, like he picked on someone Iran that could actually stand up to him and wasn't going to just cave and actually blacked his eye. Like he's got, he's been punched up because of this war. And because he doesn't like resistance, he's just like moving on to find someone weaker to make himself feel powerful. And that's why he kept talking about Cuba also in this speech.
Starting point is 00:14:19 So it's, yeah. Like the old saying goes, nobody has a plan and then you get punched in the mouth. Is that it? Oh, no, sorry. You're supposed to have a plan before you get punched in the mouth? I didn't do that part. You're picking on somebody. You think they're going to beat you're going to beat this shit out of them.
Starting point is 00:14:37 They fucking knock you out. And then you run away and you look for someone smaller than you to fuck up. You fall down. Your ass is in the air. You fall down in the most humiliating way possible. Your pants drop. Your butt sticking straight up in the air. Pants.
Starting point is 00:14:51 It's around your ankles. The way my newborn would go to sleep. That's how the guy's child was sleep. Like on his knees, butt in the air. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The butt up is a great phase. It's funny because Her Majesty is like, that's how I used to sleep.
Starting point is 00:15:03 I'm like, I've never seen anybody sleep like this before. The only person I've seen sleep like that is very young children and Marty McFly and back to the future. And Donald Trump in this story after he got knocked out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was sleeping. I was face down. yet I was somehow keeping a feather in the air by honchewing.
Starting point is 00:15:25 Exactly. Face down, ass up. That's the way I like to get knocked out in a street fight. Should we continue with the bad news for them? I mean, he's got J.D. Vance out there in the streets. Oh, man. Trying to pull things back together. And he, so he was just giving a speech in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Starting point is 00:15:51 supportive Republican Senate nominee Michael Watley. And the tenor of the speech was such that I was like, I don't, this guy's probably winning. Like maybe, maybe they send it. No, he was down there because this motherfucker is losing. 15 points he's down. Yeah. Or he was last week.
Starting point is 00:16:08 He was down 15 points. And the speech was so boring that Fox News cut away. And we're like, I'm, we'll come back if he starts to make news. says some real shit. That's like, they're like an old married couple at this point, Fox News and Mega
Starting point is 00:16:25 where they're just like, yeah, I don't know. More on that later. You know, they're just like tired of each other, I feel like.
Starting point is 00:16:33 And so it was during this speech that the joke heard around the world happened. Yeah. Do you want to play it? Yeah, yeah. I mean,
Starting point is 00:16:42 this is J.D. Vance at his absolute comedic best. And comedians on the left are, getting nervous. And because we need somebody who will fight back against the fart left, we need Michael Watley in the United States Senate. Okay, so there wasn't the uproarious laughter, but I think he thought was coming out. Did you all catch that? Wait a second. Wait, why didn't they laugh? What do you say?
Starting point is 00:17:09 What do you say? Y'all catch that? People are going crazy. Skip ahead. Come on, J.D. Tell them what happened right there. Now, you may not have even heard that, but I actually, I usually don't misspeak. I just called them the fart left, not the fart left. I promise that was an accident. Passion-faced woman behind him. I promise I did not mean to call them the fart left. I meant to call them the far left. Wow.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Man, dude. I feel like I'm at another Christian youth group overnight event with that kind of humor, bro. Woo! I said the fart left, guys. Huh? No. All right. People are like taking it as where, because he's like, and they're going to accuse me of saying that on purpose.
Starting point is 00:17:58 And you did. You did. You did say it on purpose. And then you, you thought this was going to be like a big laugh moment. He's such a hack that he'd be like, because we don't want the fart left. You know, telling us how to live our lives in this country. I think he really thought, I think he was just like, oh, that was organic. Let me circle back on that.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Wait a second. and really hammer that point in to which nobody will laugh. Anyway, yeah, great. So, yeah, it's no, I think, surprise that the polling isn't great. Not just because, obviously, the comedic stylings of J.D. Vance aren't top tier, but, you know, just... No, that's like their solution. They're like, we got, we got some viral ideas coming out. Get him out there. Help Michael Watley now with that fart left line.
Starting point is 00:18:48 He just said at dinner. But again, polling isn't great. Not sure what this actually manifests into at the actual polls and the midterms. But more than every week, there's like a new thing where it's like, oh, they're breaking through in like Iowa more and more. Okay. Abdul El-Sayette also has like, he's now at about a seven-point lead over Mike Rogers in Michigan. Again, this is polling. Early.
Starting point is 00:19:13 We don't know. Texas still on the table because Ken Paxton is so unlikable, James Tala is still in it. And, you know, I think add to that, Trump's polling on Iran is in worse shape than Bush in 2006
Starting point is 00:19:29 when the, like, the, the Democratic wave, all the Democrats fucking still think about, like, remember 2006, man? What about that? Because, again,
Starting point is 00:19:40 Bush was also the president during a very unpopular war in the region as well. This is from the Daily Beast. It says, quote, new polling puts Trump's net approval rating on foreign affairs at a staggering 57 points underwater.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Bush by comparison. 57 points underwater. It's not 57% of people disapprove of it. It's 57% more. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Bush by comparison was 34 points underwater heading into the 2006 midterms. And again, that was another unpopular war with fuel prices that, I mean, if we look at it through today's lenses, you're like, oh, that was, I was.
Starting point is 00:20:19 what I do for 2006 Iraq war gas prices. You just got to get those Trump TV numbers up. I feel like they'll do a good job selling it. 100%. And I think more than anything, polling aside, you know, the horse race of it all, a lot of people get really,
Starting point is 00:20:34 they want to act like, we can fucking take that to bed. The thing that I think is really interesting, though, too, is where the PAC money is being spent. And that indicates that the Republicans are not on the offensive at all. I don't think there's like barely in,
Starting point is 00:20:48 maybe like one to two districts where they're trying to flip blue to red. But everything else is basically defensive spending in red districts. Right. Like 43 of like 49 seats that I've gotten money from PACs are districts that Trump won in 2024. Eish. So like, I mean, naturally any red district you think he was winning. But like that's where the spend is going like.
Starting point is 00:21:10 So again, they're just like, we're trying to fight off just a fucking absolute disastrous realignment in the house at a minimum. Senate is still very much hard to tell. All right. Let's take a quick break. We're going to come back. We're going to talk about one Shaquille O'Neal, Shaq Daddy. Shaq Fu.

It's always, always been, like, seemed like a big kid in a lot of ways. Like, there's, like, fun stories of him going to a toy store and, like, buying everything at the toy store and then, like, buying things for other people. And he's, like, I remember the first time Phil Jackson met him. He was like, I met him. He was like, I met, him and then he like went out and was doing like crazy shit on a on a wave runner
Starting point is 00:27:54 and like just like he seems like he's just always having a lot of fun he's obsessed with Superman like a child one thing that it seems never to have been able to get over is like some kids he's obsessed with the police
Starting point is 00:28:11 and he thinks they're they're cool he thinks they're so fucking cool and he is a grown man. He has always been a cop humper. That's, for whatever reason, he always says he's like, my father was in the military of a military man. And that sort of like leads for his respect to people who like state sanctioned violence, I guess. You know, I think again, like to your point, he's a kid.
Starting point is 00:28:37 He, I think he just loves cars that go, weo, we yo, we yo. Or maybe just another example of a man that feels so small and powerless inside that even despite his larger than life stature, he yearns for the absolute authority that comes with state violence. I don't know. He's had like little moments that are, you know, Stephen Segal Lawman F. Yeah. Where like, ride-alongs. Yeah, where he does like ride-alongs and is like, I've been deputized as a sheriff. I think he's been deputized so many times. Like, wherever he's like, can't get debutized. But again, you look at his just sort of, where he's at politically, this isn't a surprise.
Starting point is 00:29:18 I mean, like, I remember in the summer of 2020, he was, like, doing like, well, you could protest, but not like that. Or, you know, just like everything where he was like, he knew, he knows he's a famous black man. So he's not trying to go full on, like, tap dancing for law enforcement. But he tried to have it both ways. And people were just like, ugh. Like, I remember when him and Charles Barkley were talking about Brianna Taylor's case and people were like, dude, what the fuck are these two old fools talking about? Yeah. So anyway, this is not a surprise based on Shaquille O'Neal's, you know, public love of systemic oppression.
Starting point is 00:29:54 But he just got honored by Cash Patel for his storied career as a law enforcement bootlicker. And he even graduated a fake-ass class to become an honorary civil rights saboteur, no, I'm sorry, honor a FBI agent. Ah, right, right, or whatever. The civil rights sabbator part is in the fine print. It's implied. It's implied. And based on Shaq's comments, whether it be on, you know, the extrajudicial murders that police do or even, like, recently, like, Colin Kaepernick, he wasn't even fucking with Kaepernick. Like, he's just always like, God damn, Shaq.
Starting point is 00:30:33 The wrong side of things. Yeah. Again, I think it's just, I think the thing that's sad is this picture of him where he looks so excited to get this little fucking badge or whatever from Cash Patel. I can't believe Casper Tal was willing to do this because Casper Tal always seems small Oh but now he looks like an infant Yes next to Shaq Next to Shaq Diesel
Starting point is 00:30:54 Like a baby and started burping him Yeah Oh I wonder if Shaq will change his name from Shaq Diesel Because diesel's so expensive Just like I'm Shaq ethanol That's part of the Trump administration Yeah Also I gotta say
Starting point is 00:31:07 Shack will fit in with the Trump administration Because he's wearing shoes That are somehow too big for his own feet Jack, can you zoom in on that? Look at the space by his heel. Oh my God. What happened? He's, I'm like, how do they make the shoe too big?
Starting point is 00:31:24 Tiny feet and he's like all those shack shoes that they were selling to like malls around America were propaganda. He's 702. He's just two and he got a size 11. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know. Again, I'm the hippo and Fantasia. you know. Right, exactly. I don't know what this is, but I'm, there's something, again, I'm not surprised by him going full embrace of law enforcement. It's, to me, I guess now the most haunting thing is how is Shaq wearing sneakers that are too big for him? People need to find this picture of him. Sliding around in those things. That's crazy. It looks like there's a good two inches from his heel, his actual heel to where the heel of the shoe is. Like, it looks like when my kid puts my shoes on. It's like, Daddy, I'm wearing big shoes. He, I mean, he does have some of the most fucked up feet that I've ever seen,
Starting point is 00:32:18 uh, as we've talked about. Yeah. NBA players who play a lot of basketball, weighing 300 pounds like Joel Embed and, uh, shack or like close to 200 pounds. Their toes just get every time they jump stop. They cut. Yeah. It's like putting way too much weight on their, on their toes.
Starting point is 00:32:39 And you see their toes and it's just, it's, they're not going in the right direction. No, no. So maybe he just has to wear big old baggy shoes to... I don't know, man. But not being extraordinary thing. Like now, he just looks like this old, sad, cop-loving, like old black man with his ill-fitting shoes. Old bad.
Starting point is 00:32:59 Yeah. Please. Well, whatever. I mean, this... Again, it would be shocking if this wasn't who he was, who he has been since the beginning. But, yeah. Yeah. I'm sure Cash had a really good time.
Starting point is 00:33:10 You know Shaq, or you know Trump had Shaq shoes. at his office. Like, that was a big thing that people who went to Trump's office would say that, like, he had, I still remember this New Yorker profile of him where he's like showing the reporter around and being like, that's Evander Holyfield's Globe.
Starting point is 00:33:29 He signed it for me. It's a pretty cool life, isn't it? Yeah. That's how the article ends. Why did you bragging about his sports member of him? He definitely had a shack shoe right next to that of Vanderholyfield glove. Yeah, you're probably wearing it.
Starting point is 00:33:44 He's like, I can almost fit this thing. So, hmm. Actually, take a bath in this. It's very cool. All right. And we have to check in on robots because there was a viral clip, possibly staged, but of the scariest looking robot I've seen yet, uh,
Starting point is 00:34:07 the thing is not fun around. I mean, it looks like a literal T-1,000. Yeah. I think that probably purposefully. 100%. But this guy, so people may or may, depending on how online you are, I don't know, like me, you may have heard of this guy Frankie Lepena who, he's like this content creator guy
Starting point is 00:34:30 who has a comedically large ass, like he wears like a prosthetic ass and he wears like khaki shorts. It's a good bit. Yeah, he's just like sprinting and stuff and people like, yo, check out the, it's like, again, it's so stupid where it's like, what's this guy to do? Oh, it's a guy with the fake ass. You got a big old fake Dumber. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:49 He does pranks and other dumb shit, like a multi-million dollar meme coin rugpole like any content creator does. But he recently was smart enough to fight a goddamn humanoid robot in San Francisco for a couple of bucks. And we got to see
Starting point is 00:35:05 that this robot can kick the holy shit out of a 240-pound man. The clip of the fight is only 44 seconds long and was uploaded by Frankie Lepinna and the company that made the robot so this is definitely like a marketing stunt they said like they promise to actually
Starting point is 00:35:23 like upload more footage of the fight because they say ultimately the guy beat the robot which I'd believe because it's like the it's not it doesn't have the same like reaction time as like a human you know pugilist but the kicks that this fucking thing
Starting point is 00:35:38 delivered were fucking not a joke I don't know if the music is playing I can't hear it The music is fine It's not as really relevant But like This thing is hopping around like Bruce Lee Okay
Starting point is 00:35:52 I feel like it has to be like Being remote control Right It is it is Yeah it is It's not it's not like actually No there's a guy controlling it They're real stealing it
Starting point is 00:36:03 He's about to get fucking Yeah that's That one's too much for me Um Yeah it does a front kick That pushes them all the way across the Pretty good push kick the octagon.
Starting point is 00:36:14 So, I don't know, it has a lot of, again, because we're now in the, this is the part of the circus and bread that we're getting for the fall of the empire where it's now just like,
Starting point is 00:36:23 I don't know, man, what if we just combine the AI nightmare with the gladiator shit and people are just getting fucking eviscerated by fucking robots. They're like, turns out bread is expensive.
Starting point is 00:36:35 So we're just going to give you, uh, TikToks of robots kicking people's asses. Yeah. Yeah. Gives, gave me a, reef moment. I go, holy shit.
Starting point is 00:36:45 And you're right back in it reading. Yeah. And I go, look how big Shaq's shoes are. All right. Those are some of the things that are trending on this.
