It's a beautiful background.
Some colorful books.
Yes, my library.
It's a lot of...
Where are your Dragon Balls?
I have curling and all of them up there.
Oh, okay.
The artwork is in my studio.
All the Dragon Balls'i anime artwork is in my studio upstairs.
Did you read the manga, too, or you were just always watching the cartoon?
Yeah, no.
My big sister was actually the one that was into anime first.
She ran this, like, website called, like, Japanese Animations Finest.
And so she watched it, and that's why I watched it.
And that's why I watched it.
She ran a Japanese animation web.
Wait, what year was this?
That's next level commitment.
It was like, this had to be like 2006, like when it was like groups and stuff like that.
And she was super into that.
Wow.
No, she started it.
Even though I don't even think she like, her adult persona don't mention anime.
But I remember, the North remembers what she was like.
Did she ever bring it up?
She like, stop.
Like, I'm that.
I'm different now.
I'm older.
When I tell you,
I don't think there is even the slightest sign
that that's what she's into.
Like,
not that that was like a bear as an adult.
I don't hear no kind of mention.
Like,
she'd be like,
she don't even like allude to it
when she sees my stuff.
She's just like,
it doesn't fit her new world aesthetic,
I guess.
Well,
I'm sure she's dying to see
the Saudi backs Dragon Ball Z theme park
that they're going to build in France.
I didn't know about that.
Is that happening?
Yeah,
Mohammed bin Salman.
And he talks a lot.
He talks a lot.
He has big plans for building things that never come to it.
He's like a Star Wars producer.
He likes to make announcements.
Macron and MBS bonded over their shared love of Dragon Ball.
And you do love to see that.
It's turned into now they're like,
we're going to build the biggest Dragon Ball Zee, see the first ever out with the Saudis.
And I'm like, that's such a good MBS impression.

Hello, the internet, and welcome to season 458, episode two of Der Daily Zykeyes.
Yeah!
A production of IHeart Radio, it's a podcast where we take a deep dive into America's shared consciousness through the day is news.
We also have a non-news history version of the Daily Zykeyes drop at each Monday morning called the iconograph,
where we do a deep dive into the Zikeis to the lens of a different icon.
Our past two icons have been Oprah Winfrey, Selena,
Both very fun episodes.
And we are about to get spooky on your ass for October.
So, yeah, watch out for that.
If you're not trying to be scared and definitely don't listen to the upcoming icons.
They're not in October.
Terrifying.
We have Blake Wexler on the first one.
Are you kidding me?
So scary.
But right now, right here, it's Tuesday, September 29th, 2026.
Yep, pretty straight boys. National coffee day, national biscotti day, national goose day.
So if you want to eat a goose and dip your biscotti and your coffee, that's a partaking in all three already this morning.
Great, great. A little goose with my coffee. My name is Jack O'Brien, aka Jack recreational endoscopy O'Brien.
That one courtesy of lockeroni on the Discord in reference to the fact that I'm, you know, just checking out all the different options for endoscopy.
I hear the Twilight drug is really good
and so I'm just gonna
see what they're working with
at each place. Like I
don't trust the camera
that they put up there. Let's
let's see what you find.
You brought your own? Yeah.
I'm through it out like a
pool queue. They're like the fuck
is this, bro. It's a GoPro and a condom
man. Tide to a rope.
Threat to be joined as always by my
co-host Mr. Miles Gray.
It's Miles Gray, aka the Lord of Lancashim, experimental blackenese visual artist, your boy, Kusama.
And what's behind the indestructible cape is your boy, Thickolo, because the thighs are thick.
Thank you for that one.
I had to come up with that special track and ball C, aka for our guest today.
Thick-a-lobe light.
Miles, we are thrilled, blessed to be joined in our third seat by writer, creator, lawyer, cultural commentator, filmmaker,
who the cut described as the woman who ate the mayor for breakfast in reference to her appearance with then New York City Mayor Eric Adams on the breakfast club.
I've always appreciated him because he taught me how to search my kid's stuff for drugs and handguns.
But, you know, she makes a good point.
You can and should and must subscribe to her YouTube channel, Aloranati.
please welcome back to the show,
the brilliant, the talented.
Aliamia, Lauren!
Aliami!
Hey, I'm so glad to be back with a mic this time.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I told my husband, y'all used to have me on here
before I had like a mic and a mic and a camera
and a real setup and y'all should now.
Look at you.
Yeah, look at you now.
I mean, you're doing so much good shit on YouTube.
I love watching your videos.
Oh, thank you, y'all.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And it's great too because one,
just perfectly today, one of our
stories aligns with what like a great video did recently. So I'm like, this is all, it's all meant to be
are you liking the full-time content creator grind? I saw you post something today where you're like,
let me explain why have multiple channels. Oh, yeah. Because I'm like, why do you have multiple channels?
I'm like, God forbid I don't want my content to flop. Right. Yeah, yeah. I'm using best practices
to keep this going. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, no, I love it. I love it. I love it. It is, it is nice. I mean,
And like, it's stressful in its own right, but also I do love it.
It's fun.
Right.
And that seems so natural to you.
Like, you're just able to sort of tap into your lived experience, your own tastes and philosophy and just be like, okay, give me a topic.
And I'll give you right back what I'm thinking.
Yeah.
It's great.
Thank you.
I appreciate that, y'all.
Well, we're thrilled to have you here.
We're going to get to know you a little bit better in a moment.
First, we're going to tell the listeners a couple of the things we're talking about today.
We do want to just take you back inside a courtroom very briefly.
a lie of me to just get your opinions on the Caleb Flynn trial.
He's a former American Idol contestant who's charged with murdering his wife back in February.
And the trial is super tragic and fucked up.
But there was a moment where we got to hear a song that he had made with AI for his mistress that.
He made an AI song when he was on American Idol?
No, no.
Like, on this recently, he did a song for his mistress, like in the midst of him.
potentially plotting to murder his own wife.
And it was weird because it's a moment where like people are laughing, like, for a murder
trial, like this somehow brought a moment of like comedic levity to the trial where people
were laughing in the gallery, like trying to choke back laughter.
Yeah.
Because it was cringy.
That is so, that is such a goofy way to get yourself convicted of murder.
I'm like, I'm looking at this right now.
Oh, this is real aggravated murder.
Kill this wife.
What?
Why not just leave her?
What's the, what's the reason?
What do they believe the motive is?
I don't know. Hard to know.
You know what I mean, that's what they're trying to figure out.
But at the very least, he couldn't have one.
He can't have like a bunch of bread.
He was scared he was going to get.
I've never heard of this man.
So like, what was the reason?
Maybe he was just a monster, Eliami.
One of these people we can't figure out.
A hundred thousand text messages between him and this gal.
Oh my gosh.
That's crazy.
Talking about hating his wife.
You know, his was crazy.
not to move from him, but it's like, why would you want a man that not only is married,
but like he texting you talking about the wife?
Like he texting you telling you how much he hates the wife and fantasizes about killing
that.
That's not a cause for alarm.
Right.
What does this man look like?
Jacob Allorty?
Let me look him up.
Oh, that's the only way I could.
No, he looks like a only way it could make sense to me.
Is he hard?
No, he looks like a middle-aged church worship leader.
He looks like that really aggravated guy from the office, the guy who like, he looked like Toby.
like him.
Oh my God.
He looks like Toby from the office.
Toby Flanderson looking at.
That is spot the fuck on.
He was a worship leader.
Us who producer,
Catherine was pointing out.
He was a worship leader.
So divorce would actually be a sin.
So he can't.
So that wasn't on the table for him.
But murder.
Murder and missing.
Like it's so like the benchmark people with their selective.
This reminds me of I was raised a hovers witness.
I'm so sorry.
That's not the funny part.
But my.
But my parents, my parents didn't do nothing, nothing at all.
Jehovah's Witnessy.
They never went to any Kingdom Hall.
They didn't do anything.
Then my senior year, my mother goes to Nigeria, gets malaria, ends up in a coma.
The only way to save her life is for her to get a blood transfusion.
My dad does it.
My mom wakes up from the coma mad as fuck that my daddy saved the life.
Oh my God.
In violation of a Jehovah's witness.
Wow.
And I'm like, lady, this is the crowd.
Yeah, this is the only part you subscribe to.
Exactly.
The ones that kills you.
You just threw a big ass party.
I'm pretty sure not supposed to do that shit.
I'm like,
this is what you're real Joe of his witness about.
That's how I feel about deciding to like kill your wife because divorce is this.
That's a branch too far.
Where's the line exactly?
Like, oh, further?
It's like, yeah.
Right.
I will not get divorced.
I will murder.
Anyways, we'll talk about that.
We'll take a look at his song to just judge him as a artist.
I do want to hear that.
I'm excited.
We'll talk about socialism being on a come up.
We'll talk about,
The front row Joe's, the maggot guys who are in all the videos, they're like travel with Trump like they're traveling with the Grateful Dead.
Or they used to, but it seems like they're not fucking with him anymore.
It's breaking up right now.
They're breaking up a little bit.
And of course, we will talk about Netflix's serial killer Marvel Cinematic Universe that they've created with Ryan Murphy, the Monsterverse.
We got Dahmer, we got Gein, we got the what you might call it, brothers.
brothers, the Menendez brothers.
And now we got Lizzie Borden, and they are monsters, and they are evil, and they justify the existence of the police.
And that's what's good about them.
Anyways, we'll talk about that, you know, world that is being created on Netflix, because,
oh, I mean, you have said some very smart and interesting things about that.
All of that plenty more, but first, we like to ask our guests,
is something from your search history that's revealing about who you are?
Let me see.
I'm buying an exorbitant amount of funcops and books.
That's not new, but that is what I'm searching because I'm trying to find a coyote,
you know, like Wiley Coyote.
I'm trying to find me, you would be surprised how hard it is to find like coyote,
like new regular coyote plushes and coyote funcos that you can get easily,
but that's what I'm trying to do next.
That's what I'm on a quest to do.
What is it about Wiley Coyote that's got you?
intrigue. Let me just let the record reflect that I've always been on coyote side since day one,
but especially like, have y'all seen, that's actually going to be my, my, what's underrated.
Have y'all seen Coyote versus Acme? I have, yeah. It's so good. Listen, I can't express to y'all
how hard I'm dick-wright. I love it so much. I saw, my friend, he's a creator's name is
Tuna, Victorique, and I like went and yelled at him like, why didn't you tell me this was the plot
of this, I happen to say, let me go look at the trailer for it. And I was like, wait a minute,
this was made for me. So for the people who don't know, you, I know, I'm sure you know that
Wiley Coyote and Roadrunner are archedemeses and Wally Coyote spends all his time and all his
life trying to get Roadrunner and he never does. All the Acme products always backfire on
him, all his plans. Finally, Coyote realizes, what if I'm not the problem? What if I've been
being set up to fail this whole time.
Acme is giving me bad products on purpose, and he sues the corporation.
Oh, y'all just don't understand.
When I saw it, I was the plot, I was like, I shit you not.
I'm not exaggerating.
I saw it when on Fendengo got my ticket and left the house immediately.
I saw the trailer and left the house immediately to go to the theater.
I love my house, but you put like an aliamese-shaped hole in the wall.
One thousand percent.
You were being followed.
You were following your phone.
with your toes off the ground.
Like it was the smell of a good pie.
I went, it was for me.
I went in my, like, cartoon villain shirts of all the villains that they are the villains
that I've never thought was the villains that defense attorney would be.
And I'm like, I laugh my husband like, this isn't for you.
This is a meeting.
Okay, I don't even want anybody here.
Yeah, sometimes other people fuck it up, you know?
And it was so good.
And also, let me just say this.
As a lawyer who's watched a million things, everything's always like the law to law
and nothing is even attempting remotely to be like,
followed a law according.
This actually did.
Like that was real towards law and stuff.
I was like, oh,
this is a thing.
It was amazing.
The only thing that was some bullshit
was foghorn,
leghorn getting off
at that bullshit at the end.
Like,
he's admitted to the crime in court.
He's literally told them.
It doesn't matter if he's waxing,
poetic about his justification.
He's admit to it.
What do you mean?
You know,
and the fact that it was Elmer Fudd's
bitch ass signed with Leghorn.
But anyway,
the point is,
it was incredible.
I can't like I went I gave it five stars on letterbox okay it was amazing I love it.
A great movie metaphorically metaphorically perfect for America starting to wake up to the fact that maybe we're not the problem. Maybe it's corporation. Maybe it wasn't that I failed to reduce reuse and recycle that one can two years ago. Maybe it's these corporations that are actually polluting the environment at an unbelievable rate. It's so good. Y'all like if you have to have.
I've not mouths, you gotta go see it.
I'm taking my entire, like,
I literally call my mother-in-law,
my sister-in-law, like,
we're going again this Sunday.
I'll have to see it.
I'm done.
Have you ever seen Puss and Boots the Last Wish?
No, I've seen the...
Is that the sequel to Puss-Avice?
It's the third one.
Forget who cares about the first.
Don't care about them.
The original Puss-and-Boot's don't matter.
Puss-and-boots, the last wish,
is a masterpiece all by itself.
And I'm not exaggerating.
Go on YouTube.
There are a million video essays
making the same point
because it's incredible.
And that's the last time I've been this jazzed.
I have seen the first half of Puss and Boots loved it.
And it was a little scary for my kids at the time.
And so they're like crying in the theater.
And I'm like holding them at the entrance to the theater being like,
hey, hold on, one sec, one sec, one sec.
I want to see where they're going with us.
My youngest is like crying and be like, I'm freaking out.
Hold on.
I think I left my keys in there.
I left my keys in there.
That makes total sense because my husband's,
always saying we're like, we're like, listen,
Puss and Boots and Last Was it's just not a kid's movie.
It's an animated movie, but that's not a kid.
It's incredible.
Death, first of all, the fact that death
is being voiced by the guy who plays Pablo.
Yeah.
That goes so hard.
It's ridiculous. And we say in this house all of them,
slow, sloppy, sad.
When he fucking puss up,
when Puss feels the blade for the first time,
and it's like, the actual animation for the panic attack
when Puss is like, oh shit.
I'm about to get got.
It's incredible.
John Huleney does this big one in that too.
Kids, you know this character that you love?
Watch him come to terms with his own mortality.
Slowly,
over the course of an hour and a half.
It's so good.
We do happen to have like the whole poster on the wall upstairs.
Like, yeah, we're real dick riders over here for Puss and Bootson Boots the Last Wish.
Dick riders for Bush and Bush and Blitz.
No better dick to ride.
then I always...
Miles, I bet you $100.
A whole hundred dollars.
You go watch it right now.
You're going to come back to me and tell me, yeah, that shit was...
All right.
No, I'll watch that.
I'm watching it.
I'm just off of your enthusiasm alone.
And I respect your intellect.
I've seen your commentary on media.
You're calling this a masterpiece.
It's worth...
It's worth...
Also, my children are cowards.
My children are cowards.
Guys child might be ready, man.
You know?
Yo, he's wild, bro.
He fucks with...
He doesn't get spooked out by shit.
Yeah.
Like, he watched like...
Your kids are stronger.
My husband didn't watch Jim Carries the Grinch because he was like for a million years until like we got together because he was scared as a child.
So your kids, they tried.
They gave it an hour.
Yeah, right.
No.
It was actually me.
That was too scared to leave.
I'm going to be honest.
I'm throwing my kids under the bus.
They were like, dad, let's go if you don't like this.
The fact that they had dad's like and basically, I'm saying like Omar a little from the wire.
I know, exactly.
What once is a whistle?
I want to say it was Farmer in the Dell, but that was Omar.
Right?
I don't even know what that was.
whistle is, but it's so scary and it's so good. Like when he shows up,
when plus things for a second, he has like a low win. And he for one second, he forgot about
death. And then he looks and death is over there like, oh, my gosh.
Oh, it's incredible. I love it so much. Also a great metaphor for human existence.
So those are my underrated. Oh, man, this is so fun. Oh, wait a second. We're all
good at that. What is something you think is underrated? That was my underrated.
That was your underrated. Cotivoretti versus Acme. What's something you think is overrated?
They're going to jump me. Let me just be clear.
before I say this.
This is a,
it's a good movie.
It's a great,
it's a great movie.
This is not slander for the movie.
It's just overrated.
It's not the second coming of movies
the way people are acting.
Obsession.
That's my,
that's my overrated.
Good movie.
Good movie.
Like,
nothing negative to say about it.
But is it the second coming of movies?
So it's like,
oh,
cinema's back.
No,
you just went to cinema
for only see that movie this year.
That's why.
They're like,
I can name like 10 better movies
that came up this year.
They're like,
no,
you are back.
movie theater. It's so good.
Like, Curry Barker, like, he's a YouTuber.
Like, when I tell you, I'm, I'm standing for him.
I have literally, I went to, like, the early screenings.
Look about the, like, they were they give you, like, the cacks from obsession and the, like, obsession stuff.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm heavily supporting nothing negative to say.
I have a video on a Luridati Pop singing its praises.
It's a good movie.
It's just not, like, everyone's like, oh, my God.
Oh, fuck.
They made nothing this good in forever.
Do you think it's because of, like, how it was just done sort of outside the movie?
the traditional, like, studio system and with such a low budget that, like, that's the thing
that makes people be like, oh, my God, they made it for how much money and still made a hit?
And I think that's worth, like, yeah.
It's, it's, it's a plus. I think what it is is, I think the plot of it is so, um, it's,
it, the plot, well, I don't know what the right word is to use, but it, it, it works so
well for the current times we're in, in terms of what we're talking about online, how people
are, like, waking up more to like rape culture, consent, me too, X, X, Z.
So you get this movie that kind of like, you know, like puts this into motion and, like,
You see like, hey, the good guy, the nice guy, whatever, how you can be these things and be well and be bad and, like, do things that it offers so much different avenues for excellent social commentary.
So I believe it, I don't think it's overrated in the sense that it doesn't deserve the money or the success or anything that it's got.
And I believe it deserves all that.
I think we should be on Curry Barker's dick.
He should feel great.
No one would be able to tell me shit if I were Curry Barker, like, right now.
But as far as just like, you know, I go to the theater like every week.
I can name you a bunch of movies this year that were great.
Like, did you watch No other choice?
No other choice.
Yeah, like there is.
Is that the Korean film?
Yes.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That shit was so good.
So fucking good.
Oh, so good.
That's all I'm saying.
Is I seeing some shit that was incredible this year that didn't get any of the same lover.
Is God is came out.
That's my shit.
I'm, I love Is God is.
I love Is God is.
Like, let me go online and DM the director, like, level I'm obsessed.
So, you know, but I think it was good.
just don't think it was like, the best movie that came on in the last 10 years.
And, like, I don't think it's all that.
I now watch movies, like, people read novels, like, where I watch, like, 10 minutes
and then I have to, like, go do something.
And so I just made my way through first reformed the Ethan Hawk movie, like, literally over the course of eight watches.
Like, on my phone.
And now I just started back rooms, which is the one that came out at the same time as obsession.
I really hated that.
Yeah, I wanted to hear your theory.
on that one because those are like always going to be linked together as like movies that came out from
YouTube directors around the same time that both over delivered.
I hated it so much that as a, but I want YouTube, I want, I want YouTubers turn filmmakers
to win so badly that I was like, I'm not going to offer any public negativity.
I'm just going to go rate this horribly on Letterbox quietly to myself.
And I'm not going to, I didn't make a video about it because I hated it in a way that I
I don't even think I could offer anything intellectual to say about it.
I hated this shit so much.
Like, I was in the theater.
Like, if I, if this were not a YouTuber and I did not, like, have a will to live,
I jump right now.
Like, I did shit.
I fucking hated it.
Like, I hated it.
It wasn't just me.
My friend, Nigel was there.
My husband was there.
We were looking at each other.
Like, so that shit sucked, huh?
Like, I, fucking.
Like, oh, I didn't like it as scary.
Like, I didn't like it.
because it, like, didn't work for me at all.
I just, like, and I feel like I would have to be such a hype,
eludent, intellectual-ass bitch to want to like, like, to me, that's one of those
things where it reminds me, one time I dated this guy who, like, had me watching a bunch
of Stanley Kubrick films that I watched them with him, and I watched him hate them.
And then they end, and he starts, because he thinks he's supposed to like them, like,
He's a great.
He starts like Googling
and they're trying to read
and I watch him start like
like just backdooring
a philosophy for why it's excellent.
Like you lying son of a bitch
you did it like that.
I was there.
I seemed to it.
We hated it.
Like and that's what I feel like I would have to do
to like backgrounds.
Like I would have to go online
and be like, mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
Reverse.
It's a metaphor for this.
And blah, blah, blah.
But like I really hated it.
Like I can find almost nothing
I can think to say other than like
truly that you're not at a
I think of Franklin's memes like beautiful gowns, beautiful gowns.
I'm like, I'm like, I hated that shit.
I was like, yeah, I'm just going to shut my mouth up because I've got nothing positive to say.
And I don't want to slander that young man.
I said I gave Curry Barker all this praise.
I'm just going to move on.
I wish I subscribed to a peacock because I did, I went and looked for obsession.
It's not on any of the ones I subscribed to.
And then I found backrooms.
Oh, and you went and watched backrooms.
And I went backrooms first.
Oh, God. How did you feel about that? You enjoy it yourself?
For the 15 minutes that I'm going to do?
Yeah.
You're the first chunk of it.
Right. I'm sure. And maybe that's hopeful.
That first 50 minutes you think it's going somewhere. You've heard all this.
Oh, yeah, this started as this YouTube. We made this video. It was so popular.
They were all watching and you think, yeah, this is going somewhere.
Yeah. It don't. Okay. Great. Can't wait to find that out on my own.
Over seven more viewing.
Get back to you in April.
Yeah, go watch Obsession.
Obsession is a good time.
And I've seen Obsession twice because I saw it in theaters.
And then I saw it home and I realized I'd already put out a video on it on YouTube that did well.
And I was like, of course, like I kicked theirs back in.
But I missed a scene and obsession when I watched it the first time.
Like I went to the bathroom and it's really crazy how you can't watch things with people who obviously don't realize things are important.
Because I asked my friend if I missed anything important.
Oh, like, none happened.
Yeah.
She's like, no.
When I was home, I was like, this motherfucker's the devil.
When I saw the one scene, I was like, this is the most crucial scene.
I was like, oh, Jesus Christ.
Like, it's basically like the scene I missed is the equivalent of like, that scene is the difference between like death row and like, yo, getting life in prison.
I was like, oh shit.
Oh, this is way worse than I thought.
So her answer was basically like, no, I don't want to answer that question.
In the scene I missed, it was like, and I was like, but in the scene, if you're a wonder, if you miss that scene, you'll think that there's a lot more nuance to whether or not he knew he was doing fuck shit.
Oh, right, right, right.
Yeah, it's like the scene where he definitively knows he's doing fuck shit.
And he's like, fuck it, yeah.
Oh, wow.
There it is.
That's what I missed.
Yep.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, for sure.
I'm like, oh, this is an intentional crime.
You're a criminal.
Like, yeah.

included some difficult detours.
We would do a Taylor Read on Wednesday,
and I would often go back to my office and be like,
you're not as funny as they are.
And the most haunting thing about that is you can't outwork talent.
And comedian Hassan Minaj shared,
where he met his now wife.
I was like, was our experience like a frat?
It's like, no.
Because in frats, like, everyone is having sex, but no one is in love.
But on the, like, competitive Bollywood dance team,
everyone's in love, but no one's having sex.

And we're back.
The Super Producer Catherine has suggested the RunPee app,
which tells you when to go to the bathroom,
gives you a synopsis of what you miss.
It's so funny.
They're like,
if you're going to go,
it's going to be right here.
That's incredible.
I didn't,
I did not know that existed,
but that's like so perfect.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm getting,
I'm downloading it right now,
Catherine.
I wonder if there's like,
if they're a crowdsourced too,
like you take it really seriously.
Like,
okay,
after seeing it,
these are the,
this is the moment that I think you have
five minutes to go, you know,
I quite literally miss those important scene in the movie.
It was actually ridiculous.
Like, when I watched it at home,
I realized,
there are multiple things that have happened to me
in terms of the difference between watching something in theaters versus, like, at home is wild.
Because I saw, which you weren't supposed to see, because everybody's against, you know, because they're doing shit.
But I saw when I saw the latest scream, I saw it in theaters.
And I walked out thinking, oh, me and my friend Nigel thought it was incredible.
We watched it at home and realized we were 1,000% running off our own adrenaline of excitement for a new screen movie.
Like the crowd.
It was 1,000% the adrenaline.
And I was, I couldn't even tell a little, but I'm so glad that I didn't, like, go out on a limb,
deciding to be the, like, the one bitch that crossed the picket line to watch Scream 7.
And then I said it was great and it sucked and I was wrong.
But I was punished.
I will tell you, I want to go on and before y'all move on me to tell you what happened to me after I saw Scream 7 as my punishment for crossing the picket line.
So I went, we drove to, like, the speed or far away.
It's like dead a night.
I shit y'all not.
It's like an empty, empty, like, empty area.
We get to the light.
and a guy pulls up.
It says the dead of night,
it's like one in the morning,
a guy pulls up in like a white car
next to text to me and my friend.
I look over to the left.
He's in a scream costume
looking right at me
jacking off in the car
with the lights on,
staring right.
Wow.
I shitch you not.
I should, I had to go on.
I can send,
I was texting on the video after
because I like,
I don't need a video.
I'm like,
I'm like,
tweet me the video.
I panic.
Like, I'm like, oh, my, I'm like to my friend.
Like, look.
You can send us the video?
First of all, that's why.
You got the video.
But I see at home to tell my husband, I'm like, Sid, right?
Right.
And I'm like telling him, when I tell you I was horrified, because it felt like, you ever have your, like, your imagination is thinking the wildest shit.
And like, because at the beginning, I'll, you know, Claire, I'm a scream fanatic.
At the beginning, a scream to how Omar Efts ended up getting stabbed in the face.
Oh, yeah, through the bathroom stall?
Yeah.
Like, hey, so I'm already thinking some weird shit like that.
And I'm like, that's you thinking weird shit because you just finished watching scream.
Why would that happen?
I look over.
It's happening.
Yeah.
I'm like, I've never, you can't convince me that the guy doesn't do that.
Like, he's not like, it was too.
I was like, you have to be running around waiting for people to leave the last scream showing.
So he was in a costume.
Yeah, yeah.
With the sleeves cut off.
Oh, wow.
Sleeves cut off.
He cut off.
Oh, wow.
He's in a scream costume with the sleeves cut off with all the lights on in the car jacking off looking at me slow motion.
Wow.
So that was my punishment.
Just know I was punished for going to go see that screen after how they did Melissa Barreira.
So don't think that I wasn't punished by the universe.
I was.
Absolute.
Worst kind of slow motion for me.
You could have.
Yeah.
I also wonder if the scream, the actual scream characters are jacked off because like it is always some weird young.
guy or a lot of times some weird young guy and those they're in like some roomy shit you know there's
some there's a little room under there for them to be operating don't go freelance and with their
monsters jack you don't need to understand anything about these people they're monsters they're not people
speaking of monsters miles uh Caleb Flynn former american idol contestant uh church worship leader
accused of murdering his wife back in February yeah and yeah brutal not funny story in any way
but a clip went viral over the weekend where
I don't know whose attorney it was
it must have been the
There's got to be the prosecution
There's nothing to the defense is like
Hold on man we might have something if we play this AI song
Don't know you're sensitive God
It's like they so they just play this whole song
It sounds like praise music a little bit
Well the thing is he made two versions of this song
And they played both
We'll play the like the one that's a little bit more
ballady poppy sort of or a little more positive sounding but yeah it was like one of these moments
they played it it's so cringy that you have in the midst of a murder trial people in the back
literally like it was like just like it was high school and you're like going out yeah like covering their
faces yeah um i'll just read a little bit of this uh like what happened in the buildup to this quote
earlier in the day flin's mistress was asked to read various text messages he wrote her into the
public testimony quote i've spent a lot of time on my own and in cleveland
I finished the lyrics to our song, to your song, although it made me nothing to you.
I wanted to give them to you.
I have the music, which is completely different to what you've heard to this point.
And I was going to record, but I know there will be no way I would ever be able to actually sing it again.
Quote, do you want to hear this song I wrote for you with an AI voiceover?
Wait, did you do this while, like already caught?
No, no, this was like, this was in the buildup, I think, to the lead up to the murder happening.
Just to kind of like, I think, established that.
But like, why couldn't he do it?
Why couldn't he sing it?
We were stopping him from singing his little song.
I think because he knew, you know, like it was like this sorted love affair.
So he was like, how could I ever publicly sing this ballad or whatever?
Could Michael Jordan do the flu game again?
Like, hard to say.
You know, but it's just like, you know, he painted his masterpiece.
It's weird because the text read like a low key ad for the software.
He's like, I wrote this with an AIO server quote,
I have this software called 11 Labs where I loaded the song on piano and sent it with my computer microphone,
to which I can pick an AI voice to sing it better.
He don't even have no game.
Like, I feel like if you're going to be a murderer, why not go ahead and be a liar and, like, pretend like it's you.
Like, what's the point that's giving her all the like, you know what I mean?
The background on how you made it.
Yeah.
Well, here's the moment they played in court and the reactions from everyone.
Obviously.
So excited.
Can't get a copyright strike when a fucking robot made it.
Right.
Like, part of me feels like his response is like I stand on this.
Yeah.
Sometimes this is more embarrassing than like, you know, trial for murder.
Oh, that's what we said.
The morning's late nights jokes in our heads.
The first time I saw you, the room disappeared.
Oh, boy.
It's the black woman behind him.
I know.
She's like, the fuck is wrong with these people.
Oh.
I mean, he's kind of ripping.
Oh, it's AI.
It's AI.
Now the third of every month.
Hits me like rain?
his lawyers are like
fuck
it's so crazy
like I hate I hate
that this like people are covering their mouths
right now
they're choking back some smiles
this woman had to bite her
lip to stop from laughing
you can actually watch people
bite in their mouth
biting their lip
let me just play the one
I know Catherine sent one
that has there's like
a lot of close-ups
on the people laughing
we can still use that audio
this is murder
not attempted murder
like the wife is dead
this is murder
like oh
wipe in his forehead and shit
this forehead and shit
this is great reaction
this is a lot of white women on his jury
for a man accused of murdering a white woman
his defense attorney's aim
feel like using some strikes
god damn she did
she's like what the fuck
this is one where like one of the women on the jury
like whispers the other one she's like
I know
what the fuck.
This prosecutor, they ate what they ate with this jury.
But I feel like the defense is there.
He's like, come on.
What's good?
Like, we've got, we've got literally a jury full of his victims.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
Well, was that the gallery?
They wouldn't, do they show, they wouldn't show the jury, right?
And like a broadcast like that?
Or is that the TV?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Interesting.
Yeah.
That looked like, let me say, that looked like it was the jury, like the jury box.
But, you know, I can't see the whole thing.
Again, it's just.
like we're in this like weird thing now where AI has become so ubiquitous now that like somehow it's like this evidence too to like in a murder trial where a guy's like somehow been like God AI is helping me say all the things I love about you that I can't.
What's his defense? Is he like so I'm obviously.
I think one of the biggest ones is they can't find a murder weapon. So they found so so it's circumstantial.
They have the body. They have like what I like.
that kind of had a pretty good idea
on trial.
You know, why am I on trial?
I'm just a podcast who got out of the headline.
I'm like, now I'm so curious if only had prepared beforehand, I wouldn't know.
Yeah.
So that happened Thursday, and on Monday, the defense rested on Monday.
So I don't know what happened in between.
Yeah.
Yep.
Yep.
Yeah.
He said he kept a gun.
Also, that man is 40 years old.
Oh, okay.
They don't have, okay, they have the body.
They have the text.
They have the motive.
They have the everything.
The only thing, they don't have the weapon, but he has a weapon that's missing.
Right, right, right, exactly.
Like, he owns a friend.
We're going to prison.
So what do you think, counsel, you getting off?
His man going to prison.
Unless he's rough.
Although, you know, I've been proven wrong recently because I just knew Lil Durk was going to jail for the rest of his day.
Is his lawyer out here doing God's work?
Wow.
Yeah, yeah.
Like, did y'all see that?
Well, probably not.
Why would that be on your else's radar?
No, I mean, I definitely, I knew, I didn't see the whole trial,
but I knew what ultimately came of the trial.
I just knew he was going to prison.
I tell you, all my lawyer for every, all my men, all my friends were like,
nine out of ten of my friends of lawyers.
And everybody was like, did you see that?
It's coming.
And we're like, no, no, I thought for sure.
Like, if I'm, if I'm his lawyer, I want you all to know,
wherever Lil Dirk's lawyer is, that guy is talking hot cash.
Can't nobody say it to him.
Like, they can't say nothing to him.
He's like the young thug
He got off young thug and I was like
That was a shocker
But I was like okay
That's all right
Right right
He got a little dirt
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
He's not fucking around
Yeah
Yeah he's really not fucking around
It's actually like
He's got to
Yeah next time he's in court
He represented Cardi too
Like he's really like
He's really the rapper's lawyer
Like he's getting there
He's like an iced out
goat medallion or something
When he walks in
Yeah
Wow
He's a little more modest
Yeah
No he's incredible
I can't even take that from
Anyways, I do think like that should be a new thing in crime and punishment is just like every, like in front of a courtroom of your peers.
You're humiliated.
Your most humiliating work of art ever is presented while you just sit there.
And it gets just quietly judged by everyone.
Here's what's crazy.
I mean, the main witness, like the prosecution's lead witness is the mistress, which if that ain't like proof or how life do you, you go kill your wife for some guys.
Now you don't know from nowhere.
And she's the one in court, literally, and you ain't got no spousal privilege.
You don't kill your wife.
And now here you go, your mistress talking all this shit.
She's like, she testified repeatedly.
First of all, she was 24.
Like, sir, yeah, okay.
She said that he hated his wife.
He referred to as a douche and fantasized about killing her.
And he said, I just want her dead and gone.
Like, what?
What the fuck?
Like, stupid.
Do you any hear the song I wrote for you?
Yeah, anyway, I wrote this for you.
voiceover?
August 22nd, August 22nd, 2025, he texted the mistress and said, I was up until 4 a.m. last night, crying, literally thinking of ways to kill her and not go to jail.
Well, fuck that one up.
I'm not being so concerned about I want to get away with this, but I'm also going to text a play by play everything to my mistress.
Also, yeah, can you change the name of our conversation to dry snitching?
Oh, I'm going to do.
Yes.
Good, good, good, good.
All right. Let's do a little bit of good news.
There's some recent polling that suggests that good news for some people, bad news for maybe the DNC.
New polling results show socialism is gaining in popularity while capitalist ideals are heading to the toilet.
Yeah, yeah. I know the DNC does not want to see this at all.
They do not. Look, they hate seeing polling about what their fucking voters want are interested in because they got to just stick to that.
damn status quo. This is a Gallup bowl that just came out. Forty-three percent of Americans say they
have a positive view of socialism. In the, in Gallup, 16 years of polling this question,
the proportion of Americans saying as such has never surpassed 40 percent. Last time in 2025,
it was at 39 percent, which was up a little bit from 2010, 36 percent. So yeah, a little,
yeah, something people are, I think, beginning to see the movement of capital and how that might be
affecting them day to day. Socialism,
obviously very popular. 50% of those aged 18 to 34 say they view it positively, but the big change
has been driven by independence. In 2025, 37% of independence said they had a positive view,
or favorable view of socialism, lower than the average. That proportion rose by eight points to now
45%, now higher than the average among all Americans, which is...
Which I do wonder, like, how many of those points of like independence were people who were left
leaning that may be identified as Democrat before and then like are now switching to being
independent because there isn't not neither I think I feel like what we've learned in the interim
is that both parties are pretty resistant to socialism. Yeah right. Like that being a Democrat and
being a socialist like that isn't necessarily the thing that makes the most sense. No,
like they said in the like abstract to it, it is an independence that are creating all of this
momentum like of all these switches and like yeah, I know they're, I know they're
plenty of people who were disaffected Democrats
who go, bro, this party isn't shit.
Yeah.
Somehow it's like the best of the
two terrible
things I have to choose from.
And yeah, and I think most of those people
now I think very clearly can see.
It's like there's no way I'm not, I'm a Democrat
because I don't stand for this.
I'm actually hostile towards the status quo.
Especially a rise of like popular
politicians like Zorin and
who they have in Baltimore and all them being.
And, like, they have so many politicians that they, like, like, coming up now that are doing positive things that are socialist on the working families, parties, line apart with the DSA.
So it makes it makes perfect sense.
It's totally consistent.
Maybe these ghost stories weren't true.
Maybe those people, those werewolves in the forest are just our elders dressing up of that.
Right.
Or they're like, I always.
Weird village reference, but.
But, yeah, I, so one piece of the polling that I feel like is interesting.
is that those who favor free enterprise
or the idea that business should operate
relatively free from government regulation
have dropped from a proportion of nearly 90% to 77%.
So I do feel like that 77 is still wild.
I feel like that is the next frontier,
like getting people's mind around the fact that, you know,
businesses and corporations are not the thing that can be,
like just being like, well,
they're looking out for us.
They're just trying to make the best product
they can and it's like we gotta do a better job of like educating people that like that is not like they yeah they're actually kind of rigging the game away from you having any power right i'm having the only it's like i wonder if like yeah there's class consciousness and also like stop caping for companies consciousness too that people also have to have it's like you need to actually look at how these things are operated and they're not for your benefit at all it's for the shareholder pure yeah yeah that's that's what it is and i think to your point jack like the inshittification
of everything. People know how garbage quality, like how garbage tier, like all the products are
right now. And I think that also, because like even, I look back like, I'm finding old t-shirts at my
mom's house that, like I bought in 2004 that are holding up, I still wear them. They are holding up
better than a shirt I bought three years ago. You know what I mean? These old t-shirts, when you sneeze,
the arms don't fly off. What the hell's going on? I forgot. I thought that was always a feature of t-shirts.
Yeah. I mean, again, again, the approval of capitalism in this poll has also declined from historic highs. For much of the 2010s, roughly 60% of Americans said they view capitalism positively. That has since declined to roughly 55%. I think it's the economy worsens and people struggle more and people realize like, okay, I've been sold a lie to some degree and that makes it easier for people to start questioning all of the different things.
Yeah, which is, yeah, like, and I think that's what's, that's become really the most like radicalizing force.
right now in the United States is just how our American consumer culture is completely in the gutter
because everything is so expensive. That used to be the thing people would distract themselves
to be like, well, I can buy a bunch of things. I can buy a bunch of like, at least we can buy stuff here.
At least I have, you know, choice to buy this washer or whatever. And I think that probably
because now so many people cannot hide the fact that they are exposed like in this economy
and the things are getting worse, gas prices keep going up that they just have to be real about it.
Like, you can't.
Yeah.
Like, it was easier to be like, oh, I love the way things are going.
Yeah, maybe in 2016.
There were people who could really bury their head in the sand.
But 10 years later, like you look like an asshole like these politicians do in D.C.
were like, well, I'm still buying stakes every day.
So I don't know what's wrong with the economy.
And you look immediately like, yeah, just to complete, you've othered yourself successfully.
And I feel like that's probably why the front row Joe's might be in revolt too.
Because it's, everything is just.
it's becoming harder and harder to be, you know, like a real staunch MAGA person out loud.
Like, you know, everybody on the show, Jack, you'll say anecdotally, like when you go to places like Ocean City, less Trump stuff is visible.
Yeah.
There's even like conservative parts of L.A.
We're like, you know, there always be like that one house that's like dumb enough to have their MAGA shit outside like in L.A.
And I'm like, oh, you really?
Oh, you buttoned up now.
But the front.
Yeah.
So apparently this group of MAGA freaks, they're like groupies for Trump.
Front row.
Yeah.
Yeah, front row Joe's.
They've been to over like 100 rallies.
I'm putting my face on it on the national news.
Yeah, yeah.
And it's not just like it's men and women, although obviously because it's a MAGA thing.
But they're part of it started off as the Joe's and like, yeah, we love the Karen's in as well.
But they, again, sit in the front row at these rallies.
And two of the founders of this stand club are out on Trump now and have basically like throwing the towel on voting.
This is one guy, this guy, Richard Fraser, quote,
Epstein crimes in feeding the industrial military complex.
Those are big nose for me.
I mean, where were you in the first administration?
But okay.
He promoted himself as a no war president.
That didn't work out.
I'm to the point of not even going to the polls in November.
Another woman who was also a co-founder said, quote,
he said the war is over 600 different times.
He tells us they don't have a military.
They don't have a Navy.
They're still blowing up things.
It's just all lies.
It felt like such a dagger in my heart.
Well, when he dismissed the interest in the Epstein files, quote,
it was like a light switch went on and a veil lifted and I saw him for who he was.
And I have not been able to unsee it since.
Yeah, right?
They're so fucking dumb.
Like, it's so hard to even like hair demo because it's just like,
anybody who in 2026 is blown away that Trump is disingenuous is like, I don't know,
you're a dummy.
You're a dummy.
You're a big dumb dumb.
I think it's that thing too, right?
It was easy to front if their financial situation.
kept them comfortable. And I think now that they are seeing the line go down on whatever
shit that they own, portfolios, their real estate, whatever. They're being affected,
too. That's all it is. I wish you just come and say like, oh, I'm shocked. Like, you know,
did you see, like, Renee Johnson was killed, uh, ICE who, uh, ice killed early this year. Her
mom was testifying. So, where she was like, yeah, yeah, Renee good. That's your name.
And she was like, uh, she was a, she's a Trump. She's a Republican, the Trump supporter.
And I'm like, that's really it. It's like, the shit has ended up too close.
the home for so many of them.
Yeah.
And that's what I'm like, you know,
you see more and more of these like MAGA people
stay stuff like this out loud.
And it's, I don't honestly think it's the most we can probably hope for
because these people aren't going to suddenly be like front row at the mom
Donnie event.
Yeah.
But probably not.
You know what I mean?
Like that's not.
I think a lot of people think like the veil will lift and then you will suddenly
see the bigger picture and now get in line.
But I do think that the MAGA fantasy honeymoon is over.
And the thing that you thought was so cool.
and like when you went out in public and could say this ignorant as shit, other people would have your back.
Those numbers are shrinking and shrinking and shrinking.
And now I think it's just at a point where it's just too hard to ignore for some people.
But yeah, I think that's the most we're going to see in terms of a shift or people just try and be like, I'm off this.
I was not wrong.
I'm just off this.
Yeah, I don't think they're good.
Like, I don't think like it's like, oh, they had a, like they didn't get woke.
They didn't have this like major change or, you know what I mean?
Like the consciousness didn't shift.
they just don't like, like, how it's playing out for them personally.
That's all.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's like that tweet, if Farrell released happy today, we would have whipped his ass.
I think that's how everybody's feeling.
They're like, there's been a vibe shift.
We can't, you can't do some 2016 shit around here anymore.
2013.
All right.

We would do a Taylor Read on Wednesday, and I would often go back to my office and be like,
you're not as funny as they are.
And the most haunting thing about that is you can't outwork talent.
And comedian Hassan Minaj shared where he met his now wife.
I was like, was our experience like a frat?
It's like, no.
Because in frats, like everyone.
is having sex but no one is in love.
But on the competitive Bollywood dance team,
everyone's in love but no one's having sex.

And we're back.
We're back.
And the Ryan Murphy produced Netflix series Monster
recently released its fourth season,
which is all about accused axe murderer,
Lizzie Borden,
who was
ultimately acquitted.
I don't know how they did trials back then,
but for a woman to get off in like the
biggest, like, I don't know when this
is in relation to like witch burnings,
but like, you know, is,
history was not always kind to women
who they suspected of things.
Yeah, she died in the 20th century, so it's, yeah,
it's not, we're not that fall back.
And you're saying the witch burnings were not in the 20th.
Okay.
No.
Take your word for it.
Anyways, before the season dropped,
People were pissed off at Netflix after they released a promo in which the real-life serial killers from previous monster seasons were introduced with MCU, like Marvel Cinematic Universe style graphics.
And Borden's introduction came with the tagline, get ready to meet the next monster.
And yeah, it's just, it's already been criticized for casting like sexy heartthrobs to play real-life killers and for playing extremely fast.
and loose with the facts on these.
And then this one, this one feels like kind of completely divorced from, I don't know all the
details, but it feels like they just.
I mean, there's that weird dance scene with like.
Yeah.
Do you think that that happened?
Yeah, where Eileen Wernos was in a bed and breakfast, like, dancing at a, at the same time,
probably not a little, I guess maybe their sinners moment.
But, I mean, Aliamy, I know, you know, you have a really great video essay on just sort of the
obsession with like the monsters,
these somehow these series,
how do we figure these people out?
And just how much of a
disservice it is to,
as you put it like humanity, right?
Like we're not trying to sympathize with these people,
but we're trying to understand
these people aren't like they're coming out of a specific
context. And the United States statistically
we're number one
this shit too in a very grim way.
Yeah, I have, in my Lurinati
production is called on YouTube
why serial killers aren't in quotations
monsters and the name of the video
of itself is called there are no monsters only people
and it's like I have my issues with this genre
but they're not the same issues that I see
regularly discuss that Rudy.
People are normally from the perspective
of complaining that they're not
dehumanized enough that we need to make them
like their issue is not what they're being called
monsters that they're being portrayed like monsters
it's that they think that there's too much humanity
given to them. They don't want them portrayed
in any light that might lead to you
in any way considering them, you know, humans.
And I have the opposite problem
while sharing some issues.
Like, I think it is a mistake to want to,
it is an intentional mistake.
The framing the way we are like led
to think of serial killers
and anybody who does particular crimes
is like these monsters are ways
that allow us to like essentially throw up our hands.
If you think that these are just these
especially evil people, they're just born like these,
we don't know why they get like that.
They were just born that way.
I don't know what happened.
Yeah, that there's no way
to avoid these people becoming this way
and there's no way to deal with them.
So, of course, we need to have this kind of criminal system
that defaults to, like, you know,
putting them on death row and dealing with them in this act.
Don't even think about it.
Yep, yeah, exactly.
You need FBI departments that are mind readers.
Exactly, like how people love them,
some mind hunters and whatnot, which is a great show,
but you see exactly the same kind of issue.
It's like, people don't realize, like, no, these are,
believe it or not, these horrible things that you see in our society,
people are raised.
There are different circumstances
within our society that exist that lead to this.
And it is worthwhile to explore how they got there
so that we could try to avoid reproducing it in the future.
That's not to say that these people don't deserve to be in prison
or that there's any other magical way to deal with the Dahmer's
and the Bundys or something.
That's not to advocate for them.
That's to try to avoid reproducing more of them.
So that's my fundamental problem.
And when people act as though the crime is,
oh, we shouldn't hear anything about their backstory.
I don't give a fuck what they went through.
I don't want to hear about their blame.
It's like, no, that is relevant.
You should hear about Jeffrey Dahmer's family and parents like completely neglecting him and being an alcoholic by the time he was a senior in high school and his mother's mental illness not being treated.
Those things are relevant to understand and how people end up in those positions.
I think that's worthwhile.
I also push back on when people, I think there is, you know, it's a thin line.
I like when people say like, for example, when Evan Peters was cast to play Jeffrey Dahmer, people are like mad about that because they have the hots for Evan Peters and they're like, we shouldn't be portraying him as attractive because then people are more likely to hear.
humanized them. And it's like, well, we should have a larger critique about our society that doesn't seem to recognize the humanity and anybody they're not attracted to. But also, I'm like, Jeffrey Dahmer was a like a conventionally attractive guy for all intents of purposes. And Evan Peters did look the fuck out of Jeffrey Dahmer's, whatever. He looked exactly like him. Yeah. I'm so sorry, babes. Like, no, I think it's a, it says something worse. I think about society as a whole that you think in order to people to have people appropriately condemn them for their crimes that you need to portray them as ugly or as somebody that.
We give them some facial scars and some weird tattoos or something that would freak me out a little bit more.
Between the complete overt sexualization of the guys cast to play the Menendez brothers.
Like, okay, you see, it's like, all right now.
You got me there.
Like this.
Why are they shirtless doing all kind of sexy stuff?
Like, I know that didn't go down like that.
So, yeah, there is 1,000 percent this like sexualization and a sensationalism that's designed for like,
what reason?
So I give them that.
And then as far as what else?
Yeah, just the general, like, you know,
there should be wild.
Ryan Murphy love him.
It is, you know, I got him there.
One thing I've learned,
allow me, is that these monsters,
they are so calculating and cunning.
They've actually outwitted the police.
And the police can't even,
they don't even know how to solve these crimes.
You know what I mean?
They never outwitted.
They never get got.
These are the only ones.
So, like, the police are like the Harlem Globetrotters.
they never lose to the Washington generals, except sometimes serial killers so brilliant come along.
And like, that's why you need extra money for the police.
You need extra police who are like going to do mind game.
Couldn't you put that money towards like social programs that would prevent these people from brewing in the petri dish that is our society?
It's insane how many opportunities they had to get Dahmer and Bundy and all of them.
And I haven't watched the Lizzie Borden one yet
because I feel like these are not generally like a genre
I personally enjoy.
I just have substantive thoughts on it from my own,
like, you know, career and expertise.
But as far as I'm like, Lizzie Borton is a character
that should be dealt with in a way that deals with her humanity
and the fact like what this woman's life was.
And like, I've seen what she said on like her real,
not the fictional portrayal of her, but the real woman
and discussing like why this was happening
that she was a sex worker like being like,
she was like defending herself and that they were going to rape.
her and all these different things that happen that are very relevant to how these things happen
because it relates to a larger reality and industry that we have.
Like what happens to a lot of women engaged in sex work, a lot of women and people engaged
in who are impoverished who are in these different circumstances.
So it's worth exploring those things.
I mean a war knows story, right?
Exactly.
And so I have an issue with when people think, if anything, I have an issue with all these
people being portrayed, like the fact that the thing is named monster.
Like, oh, here's this new monster that's meant to portray.
them that way. But that's not what people have a problem. They have a problem with that they're,
they, they are monsters and I don't want to see them dancing and being cute and whatever to
fuck. I don't want to hear nothing about no backstory that's meant to humanize them, and I feel
the opposite way. I think you can, I think you can, I think you can humanize people in the same breath
that you condemn them for their crimes and you explore this and you, and you care about victims.
But I don't think, I don't think any, any part of these shows is designed to uplift victims or
humanize the people accused of the crimes. I think,
neither is accomplished.
I think we're in the entertainment industry,
and that's what's happening.
Right.
And, you know.
Yeah.
One of the kind of most disturbing parts of your,
about your video was like that you take some time to look at Jeffrey Dahmer's dad,
who like went on this long crusade to like kind of make the point you're making.
He definitely overstepped quite a bit by being like, it had nothing to do with race.
It's like, really?
Oh, it didn't.
Oh, okay.
And that's why he was able to get away with it for,
14 years.
It's so funny.
I swear to you,
I went out what a guy
once that had like,
like they'd be so close
to getting it.
It's like,
they think,
right?
Yeah,
yeah,
that's the dad's energy.
So close.
So close.
Yeah, like,
it was like,
in his mind,
he was like,
no,
it's not that they were black.
It's that they were poor
and the police wouldn't give a fuck
what happened to them.
And it's like,
baby,
put,
put it, come on.
You just,
come on.
Like, come on.
Like,
and why was that?
And why was that?
But it,
like,
shows,
like show videos of Jeffrey Dahmer as a kid
and be like, this is, this was a person,
you know? This is not, not a
inhuman evil.
This was a person that like got there somehow.
And like, so it's worth.
He was trying to make the point that,
and I understand the,
the, I understand what the distinguishment is.
Like, he was trying to make the point that Jeffrey was
it racist, that Jeffrey,
Jeffrey does not hate black people.
He's attracted to these black men,
but that doesn't mean he still wasn't picking them
because they were black. He was picking them.
He was, in fact, picking them with the knowledge that the larger racist society, the police, the police will not go, will not go and respond to that.
So it's like, yeah, he might not be, although, I mean, like, paid, if they were ever standing, he's murdering, he's murdering.
I mean, my God.
Like, I mean, I'd rather you let me live and call me the N word and kill me.
So whatever you think, you know, defines racism here.
But ultimately, he's saying that the police, Jeffrey's recognizing that the police in the criminal system in America at large is racist.
so he's going to kill black people as his victims.
Like, then baby, like, racism is still a fundamental aspect of these crimes here.
But that's what he was trying to be like, my son's not racist.
He liked those black boys.
Okay, he's just, you know, like, he's, my son, he's down for the swirl.
And also, and he was hot.
And I mean, like, and he did.
And he knows how to leverage white supremacy in his favor for his terrible crimes.
I don't know, I don't know.
You want to say that, but that's just what it is.
The context he's in.
Right.
And that's a thousand percent of it was out.
I mean, it's like interesting too because, right? Like, I'm sure like with anything, right, we, we like when we talk about crime waves that aren't happening and things like that and people just want to say like without any kind of critical thinking like about like talk about crime, you know, a lot of the times for people who are concerned, you like, well, how do we stop crime? How can we keep people from reaching levels of desperation where they're out there to offend or do whatever they have to, you know, or doing these, committing these kinds of transgressions? People still have kind of, there's momentum for things like that where people go, okay, people aren't being so.
supported enough. We need to be doing better.
People are just, you know, you can literally die because, and live in the gutter because
you don't have money in this country. So it creates these outcomes.
But then when it comes to like murders, it's just like full stop.
Nope. I don't know. Motherfuckers a monster. And that's it. And that's it.
Which is why I think like Lionel Dahmer is so fascinating and so impressive to me.
First of all the memoir is excellent. Like it really like of all the things I've ever read for research.
Like it's so good. Like I have that and I have, um,
Ted Bundy's, like, fiance's memoir,
and Lionel's got, Lionel Dombers
memoir's got to be, it's so good.
But I think, especially in the world where you live in,
for lesser things, and children are serial killers,
far lesser things, parents are so unwilling to, like,
take accountability.
I feel like my whole childhood, I would,
I would constantly hear my parents talk to me
about these parents whose child is just,
just a problem.
They just, like, they were raised in a good home
and the parents did everything right.
And for whatever reason, there's always this idea
that children are just these, like,
random, like, aberrations
and they're trying to just end up a hot mess.
And I grew up and I don't know a single fuck up
that I can't see how they ended up like that.
I've never met a person and seen their family
and seen them and thought,
I don't know where they came from.
I've never seen it.
You know what I mean?
And you see so many parents on such a lesser scale
willing to take any accountability
for who their children end up
as what relationship they have with their kids.
I think it's just like really impressive
and like not even just ahead of the time
because I think we're still none of the time.
parents are still not taking accountability today in 2026 to see Lionel Dahmer be like,
my son's killing people, I must have fucked up.
I must have.
Like, I don't know what I did, but I tried to.
There's no way I didn't fuck up.
Yeah.
Like, yeah.
And it's true.
Like that thing, like I even think about, you know, like I grew up with a lot of like,
you know, like wealthy white kids who on paper, their lives looked perfect.
Yeah.
But I could tell a lot of them had these question marks.
I was just talking to my dad.
And I was very grateful to my dad.
I said,
Dad,
I got to tell you, man,
like the,
I never for once questioned whether or not I was worthy of you or mom's love,
ever in my life, ever.
I fucked up.
Y'all would yell at me fucking rip my head off and shit.
But I never for once doubted my worth as a child,
like,
and my ability to receive love from you.
And I was like,
I can draw direct lines to a lot of people I grew up with,
too,
houses where like materially everything was there, but the parents just did not really have time,
like, we're not interested in connecting and started the same. We're like, what do you mean?
I did everything. I paid for your school. You all had new shoes. You had a car when you were 16.
If you wanted to go to college, paid for that. I don't know what, I don't know what else you want me to
say. But again, a huge thing that was missing was just like this, like it's the cheapest thing,
too. It doesn't even cost money. It's just like your kids got to know that they are worth, they're worthy.
And I think that's like such a basic thing. It's irrelevant.
People don't want to believe, and that's what I say in that production is like, people, they want to hear it as like excuses, right?
Because they'll say things, it's like, oh, we all go through it and we all go.
And I'm like, you don't, people want to believe that the, that the only way to get a horrible outcome is for something horrible and unfathomable to have happened.
Like, people don't want to believe that neglect and regular, like, neglect and parental abuse and crippling loneliness could lead to shit like that.
But if you listen to Jeffrey Dahmeringham where his childhood is of his parents literally paying you.
him dust. And then you realize you get to a place where he's like, he's so cripplingly lonely
that he wants to crawl in the skin of these people. Like, he literally is like, oh, I want to keep
their bodies close to me. The only way I think I could get companionship or whatever is to.
And it sounds wild or whatever because we all like loneliness seems like such a fundamental
human emotion that we all like can relate to. So it's like, oh, I didn't do this. But people are
different. People are different. And people respond to different things or whatever differently.
And so I think it's really important. And that's not, I don't say those things to say.
say Jeffrey Dommer
not a sick ass
motherfucker who killed a bunch of people
and shit.
That's not what you're saying.
It's saying,
hey,
do you see what could happen?
You know what I mean?
Being a shitty absent parent
and all these things
and it's to teach you to be more mindful.
Like,
hey,
maybe if you thought to yourself,
like the consequences
of neglecting your children
could be they wear them
like skin suits,
maybe we'll go check for our children.
Right.
You know?
And also making sure that like
there's a ton of stress
on parents to have the,
the fucking bandwidth
to even parent.
You know what I mean?
Because that's the other thing
that happens. People are stretched so thin working. It's like some I also had other friends.
Parents worked so much that their parents went around. But they did their like, but even those
parents knew, they're like, I can't be here. But I want you to know like, I'll try and be at your games.
I love you. I physically can't be there. But I think they were also able to see something where they're like,
I know they're out there doing this for my benefit. But it's like, but again, it's like,
people just like look at a diamond and they're like, I don't know how that's made. It's a diamond.
It's like, well, no. Like you, we can actually understand how this happens and make.
Maybe that can help us, you know, alter the environment.
Dommer mother, like, literally picked up, left him and his, like, literally took the child she liked, his younger brother, took that child, got in the car and moved away and say shit.
Just left him there.
Right.
His dad literally had to discover that that child was, like, left there after some odd weeks.
Like, I'm like, yeah, yeah, they don't give a fuck about the guy.
Like, you see how, you know, it ends up there.
And that's not an excuse.
That's just, that's just an understanding, a rationale for how you get to a place where they're.
doing stuff like that. And I find it interesting that in a time where people are always talking
about things like the male loneliness epidemic and XYZ yada yada, yeah, yeah. People don't want to
see like, they also don't want to have conversations about how that shit actually shows up and
what the worst consequences of that are, you know? Yeah. Well, I mean, I'll run. I feel like we
could talk about this for about five hours. Of course, we don't have five hours, but thank you
so much for joining us. Yeah. Where can people hear more from you, see you, all that good stuff?
You can check out the Oleranauti verse on YouTube that refers to all my YouTube channels.

I recently read a book called The Death Row Club that I'm obsessed with,
and I launched Illurinati Reads to talk about it.
And I'm about to read another book that I'm excited about call You'd Look Better as a Ghost.
that I'm about to read.
So that's
I'm right.
It's a hell of a thing to say to somebody.
It's funnier than you like the bat.
Well, hold on, hold on.
Before you've let me just tell you so I can prove it funny.
It's how it starts.
I have a gift in the background.
I have a gift.
I see people as ghosts before they die.
Of course, it helps that I'm the one killing them.
I mean, that's good.
Yeah, it is.
That'll get you.
Miles, where can people find you?
Is there at work media?
you've been enjoying.
I'm the Duppie Maker.
Yeah, you can find me everywhere at Miles of Gray.
I'm talking shit about 90-day fiancé on 420-day fiancé
talking about the Premier League soccer football on Aeneuf Footie
with Jamel Johnson and Chris Martin.
Work in media I like.
It's just this, it was a video.
It's hard to explain because it's one of those things.
It's like POV, you're in Europe.
It's Jalen underscore D-T.
It just says, P-O-V-U-V-V-U-V-V-U-V-V-U-V-V-U-V.
and he's a man of color
and just like the looks that he gets
is just kind of funny how the people like
this whole thing is just people going out of their way
to give the most awkward just stare downs
just
people that's coming to dead face
bringing their glasses down.
Yeah, it's hard out there.
It's hard out there.
And I see so much content now
of American people who like have never left the US
and are understanding
how geopolitics works.
And like it's like really they like
they think we're bad.
It's like, yeah, no shit.
I have been enjoying the video of Zach Fox
describing British food that I'll link off to on the footnotes.
But he talks about it.
It's just a very subtle dragging done in a way
that only Zach Fox can do.
So we'll link off to that in footnotes.

Footnotes, where we link off to the information that we talked about in today's episode as well
as a song that we think you might enjoy.
Miles, is there a song that you think the people might enjoy?
Yeah, this is a Haitian American artist called Schneider.
It's spelled C-H-E-N-A-Y-D-E-R.
She's super dope.
This track is called Blue World and it's kind of got like a breathy, like Diana Ross,
vocal, maybe
mini Riperton. It's just like,
it's like very delicate.
But the production is really dope too.
So this is Schneider with
Blue World. We will
link off to that in the footnotes. The Daily Zykeyes
