Starting point is 00:02:01 Hello, the internet, and welcome to this episode of spooky scary skeletons scary skeletons um as courtesy of that song being on constant rotation in our household it is spooky song season do you at least shift the tracks with the seasons or like are you going to be listening to spooky scary skeletons like in fucking february no it's a it definitely shifts like it's reaching crisis point like we're we're listening to that um the ghostbusters theme oh yeah there there is like a edm remix of spooky scary skeletons that's actually like i've listened to it so many times and like the other version that's just like so many times that now i i'm like the edm one kind of hits guys like let's let's listen to that one instead oh they like stuff with scary why don't you play scary monsters and nice sprites
Starting point is 00:02:58 by skrillex i feel like they would like it, actually. They might, yeah. Oh, because R.I.P. your fucking ears. Your fucking little kids go into a dubstep phase. I mean, they got real into Imagine Dragons for a while
Starting point is 00:03:14 and I, like, took it off their playlist and they didn't notice for, like, a year and a half and then they heard it somewhere and they were like, let's get that shit going again baby
Starting point is 00:03:27 it hits so hard two birds one stone is Imagine Dragons there? no just a spooky EDM spooky plus dubstep some culture for the kids alright well I am Jack
Starting point is 00:03:44 that is Miles. And Twitter hell has arrived. Elon Musk took over, fired the CEO and see something. The top four people or something like that. Yeah, fired a bunch of the
Starting point is 00:04:00 main people. And apparently Kanye's Twitter account is his profile is back it was suspended for posting i don't know blatantly anti-semitic remarks no and it appears to be back up people are expecting trump's to return any moment now so we'll see um but that's that's bad for all of our mental health i think it's a good run well and also who knows like i mean already you've already seen the fucking racists and shit you know creating accounts today and like last month and just posting the wildest racist anti-semitic homophobic you name it bullshit so we'll see how this guy handles a
Starting point is 00:04:48 situation like that not many of us have faith no i do not so just wild horrifying news that nancy pelosi's husband was attacked uh with a hammer last night yeah immediately jesse smollett started trending um because i think people were like this is this has to be fake um no way and you know as the details have rolled in you know we we heard the person was saying where is nancy while they were attacking him with a hammer um we have then heard that the police arrived to find him being attacked with a hammer. We have then heard that the police arrived to find him being attacked with a hammer and now they have revealed the name of
Starting point is 00:05:31 the quote suspect, aka the person who was attacking him with a hammer when the police caught him. His name is David DePape and people did a quick social media background check and he's a big fan of, I don't know, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell's allegations that the 2020 election was stolen. COVID stuff.
Starting point is 00:05:54 COVID vaccines being deadly. Likes to post transphobic images. So just about what you would expect. so just about what you would expect but you know this feels like the sort of thing that is horrifying and also shouldn't be surprising given where that movement is but also i doubt there will be any sort of moment of like recognition from that side whereas when brett kavanaugh's nice steak dinner was made somewhat less nice and he had to leave through the kitchen because people were protesting at the restaurant that he was having a steak dinner at after he overruled women's right to bodily autonomy, everybody
Starting point is 00:06:37 had a come to Jesus moment. And the mainstream media was like, gotta take a moment here guys that these are people he's a he's a millionaire that needs to be able to eat his nice steak dinner in peace you you leave him alone so we'll see if a similar call to action and holding mike lindell and fox news accountable for this sort of shit is forthcoming for all the like this is like this is a real interesting attack or whatever from the fox people like the you know marco rubio talked about how one of his canvassers was beat up for being a republican and like there was like this you know pictures of this guy was like bloodied up and stuff and then a lot of people who are like observers of you know like monitor the far right they pictures of this guy was like bloodied up and stuff. And then a lot of people who are like observers of, you know, like monitor the far right. They're like, this guy's a fucking well-known like white supremacist dude who's like up in it, like everywhere.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Like he's not some random guy. And it's interesting because apparently when the police first came to help him, he never mentioned anything about a political attack. And then when Marco Rubio tweeted about it, then his story started changing and people were like okay like yeah what's going on over there but yeah it definitely adds to the existing tension that's going on but fox is definitely doing a lot right now to be like this is actually joe biden's fault oh are they oh yeah well how how is that oh you want to hear yeah i kind of do you want to hear what how this how this is somehow joe biden's fault here here's here's a here's a wild one you know i i posture that it's sometimes difficult to stomach the sometimes selective condemnation
Starting point is 00:08:20 coming out of the white house rightly so the president condemned this attack and called the speaker and inquired after Paul's stability, expressing all of their, rightly so again, condemnation and support. I don't remember them doing that when we watched an elderly Asian American get stomped in the face multiple times or attacks with hammers here in the city that have affected thousands
Starting point is 00:08:40 of Americans that are victims to these skyrocketing crimes. Wait, what? So in that that one it's that it's not that every hammer crime on earth wasn't condemned right interesting uh okay don't they know like they're the party of open racism though like no no no no you're racist for saying that that's jack you don't understand how this goes you see i say nonsense and i will not i'm like a slippery eel you can never get a hold of because i'm an invertebrate the um i'm sure this is just a prediction but i'm sure it will come to them saying this is not a you know problem
Starting point is 00:09:19 with our violent uh rhetoric this is a problem with mental health in this country. And I think we just are repeatedly seeing that there are overlaps between their beliefs, their ideology, and people who are having mental health crises taking violent action. Yeah. Well, I mean, everything they're seeing on TV has been like, attack this person because they are the reason everything is bad is basically what it distills down to. Another one on Fox was saying, like, I thought Joe Biden was supposed to bring the country together. If we have a situation where this is politically motivated, you have to step back and say, why is our country so divided? President Biden, you got up to the podium and
Starting point is 00:10:04 said you were going to bring us together. And that was one of the things you promised people it's one of the reasons they voted from you and they backed away from trump because they did oh so you admit it backed away from trump oh you're still supporting 100 so why is this happening and why are we so polarized it's a huge question right now shut up that's a huge question right now because i don't know in a couple hours we're about to play the fucking fever dream rants of tucker carlson sean hannity and like laura ingram and whatever anyway so that's that's how they're dealing with it holy shit that's that's amazing thank you for finding that audio. But not surprising, but just it is always interesting
Starting point is 00:10:48 when they're sort of casting about. They haven't quite figured out how they're going to make sense of the events of when they cause a mass shooting or a mass shooter is a huge fan of their show and wearing a Tucker Carlson
Starting point is 00:11:04 hat. And it's always interesting there's like silence but then there's also these little moments where they're like and i just think joe biden's not bringing us together enough and okay so wait so he is the leader and now you live in an environment where if he was sending out cues you would follow him as the president no so just shut up yeah and also really interesting too because like with marco rubio just to touch back on that like when the like that guy cesar sayoc the maga van bomb guy was arrested and was like clearly like a conservative like marco was like he's just clearly a deranged fellow with this has nothing to do with politics or the media he constantly ingests and talks about ingesting
Starting point is 00:11:45 so it's you know it's you create media and talking points that people who are struggling with their mental health seize on to and do violent thing yeah or just or people who are you know fully on board with discriminatory ideologies you're just giving them real easy ways to kind of have these thought-killing cliches that just kind of keep them comfortably in the it's okay to be you know have this kind of fucked up thinking that i have because it'll make the country better right and anti-semitism is like a huge part of that and they're both uh trying to normalize and make it possible for people to say anti-Semitic things while also being like, that's just because they're struggling with their mental health. And then, yeah, or edit the anti-Semitic remarks out to make it seem like the person isn't struggling with their mental health. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Interesting dance they're doing. All right. Let's take a quick break. We'll be right back. they're doing. All right, let's takeed. Together, we'll be diving even deeper into the unbelievable stories behind 7M Films and LA-based Shekinah Church, an alleged cult that has impacted members for over two decades. Jessica and I will delve into the hidden truths between high-control groups and interview dancers, church members, and others whose lives and careers have been impacted, just like mine.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Through powerful, in-depth interviews with former members and new, chilling firsthand accounts, the series will illuminate untold and extremely necessary perspectives. Forgive Me For I Have Followed will be more than an exploration. It's a vital revelation aimed at ensuring these types of abuses never happen again. Listen to Forgive Me For I Have Followed on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Gianna Pradente. And I'm Jemay Jackson-Gadsden. We're the hosts of Let's Talk
Starting point is 00:13:53 Offline, a new podcast from LinkedIn News and iHeart Podcasts. When you're just starting out in your career, you have a lot of questions. Like, how do I speak up when I'm feeling overwhelmed? a lot of questions. Like, how do I speak up when I'm feeling overwhelmed? Or can I negotiate a higher salary if this is my first real job? Girl, yes. Each week, we answer your unfiltered work questions. Think of us as your work besties you can turn to for advice. And if we don't know the answer, we bring in experts who do, like resume specialist Morgan Santer. The only difference between the person who doesn't get the job and the person who gets the job is usually who applies.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Yeah, I think a lot about that quote. What is it like you miss 100% of the shots you never take? Yeah, rejection is scary, but it's better than you rejecting yourself. Together, we'll share what it really takes to thrive in the early years of your career without sacrificing your sanity or sleep. Listen to Let's Talk Offline on the
Starting point is 00:14:46 iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I've been thinking about you. I want you back in my life. It's too late for that. I have a proposal for you. Come up here and document my project. All you need to do is record everything like you always do. One session, 24 hours. EPM 110, 120, she's terrified. Should we wake her up? Absolutely not. What was that?
Starting point is 00:15:18 You didn't figure it out? I think I need to hear you say it. That was live audio of a woman's nightmare. This machine is approved and everything? You're allowed to be doing this? We passed the review board a year ago. We're not hurting people. There's nothing dangerous about what you're doing. They're just dreams.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Dream Sequence is a new horror thriller from Blumhouse Television, iHeartRadio, and Realm. Listen to Dream Sequence on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Do you ever wonder where your favorite foods come from? Like what's the history behind bacon-wrapped hot dogs? Hi, I'm Eva Longoria. Hi, I'm Maite Gomez-Rejon. Our podcast, Hungry for History, is back. Season two. Season two.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Are we recording? Are we good? Oh, we push record, right? Okay. And this season, we're taking in a bigger bite out of the most delicious food and its history. Saying that the most popular cocktail is the margarita, followed by the mojito from Cuba,
Starting point is 00:16:20 and the piƱa colada from Puerto Rico. So all of these... We thank Latin culture. There's a mention of blood sausage in Homer's Odyssey that dates back to the 9th century B.C. B.C.? I didn't realize how old the hot dog was. Listen to Hungry for History
Starting point is 00:16:36 as part of the My Cultura podcast network, available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And we're back. And Giselle has officially filed for divorce from one touchdown Tommy Terrific
Starting point is 00:17:00 Tommy Football Brady TB12. So fucked up. You hate to see it I fucking believed in love dude like I fucking believed in this one and I heard maybe there was a chance they would get back together
Starting point is 00:17:17 but this is just a gut punch you know I don't know how I'm gonna look my wife in the eyes and be like, we're going to make it too, because how do you believe? I don't know how I'm going to look anyone in the eye. Right. I'm sure the world is just in a total daze hearing about this.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Yeah. It's also funny that this world-beating quarterback, I feel like immediately everybody is like yeah he's kind of a loser like all the friends between the two of them are like siding with her and like just the men men always lose the divorce in the sense of like they're they he's fucked she was definitely the cool one yeah she was like she's the cool one she's the brazilian like super model who's been everywhere and you're touchdown tommy and granted look no no that's not knocking your fucking abilities as a football player but i i'd imagine she's probably a little more lively of the two
Starting point is 00:18:18 people probably like her sense of humor and it probably will play out yeah uh. But I wonder if it'll play out like that Curb Your Enthusiasm when like Larry and Cheryl got like split up and like, you know, he was showing up at restaurants and they're like, I'm sorry, Mr. David,
Starting point is 00:18:33 we're going with Cheryl. Yeah. Like, are you guys going with Giselle or Tom? Right. 13 years, though. Yeah. Airborne trash is trending because the New York Times is saying that a new report from the government is going to claim that all those UFOs are balloons or surveillance drones from China.
Starting point is 00:18:58 From China. Or airborne trash just floating around in the atmosphere. The ones where the trained naval aviators were like, holy shit, that thing is moving the fastest I've ever seen something move. This is the wildest shit I've ever seen. That was actually just like a
Starting point is 00:19:18 a Macy's bag that had blown over the ocean. It turns out. But I don't know i there's like something comforting about this the official story going back to being like uh it was a balloon is just like yeah that's that's how it's supposed to be right the government just being like nothing to see here folks right um makes me wait so like the the tic tac was a shopping bag the article so far what we have does not get into specifics there's gonna be all sorts of redactions right right but yeah it seems like they're saying
Starting point is 00:19:58 it's actually very simple like some of the stuff was chinese drones just very standard drone technology but like they don't really get into so why did it seem like it was like doing amazing things and like they definitely are not getting into the naval aviator who like flew over and saw a tic-tac up close like and like boiling over the ocean roiling the water and then it just like flew up right next to the thing and then just shot off at like hypersonic speeds without any visible signs of propulsion they don't have a explanation for that as best i can tell okay so it's more to say like a lot of it is like just like anomalous visual shit right but then there's also but hey there's also look that part will be classified that part you can wait you don't see here i thought you would like more that
Starting point is 00:20:52 they're like yo bro again we're not gonna lie man i think that shit is all ufos yeah i don't because i guess the societal panic that would ensue well i think the military industrial complex is built on this idea that the more advanced the world gets, the more we will be in a kill or be killed realist version where like we have to just keep arming ourselves and arming ourselves and arming ourselves. And that is totally exploded by the idea that like the most advanced civilization that we've come into contact with is here and they are not killing us. And so I think since they discover that in the 40s and have
Starting point is 00:21:35 continually discovered evidence that there are these advanced light speed travel civilizations that have visited, I don't know if they've made contact with them or anything, but if these are real technologies,
Starting point is 00:21:52 if these are other extraterrestrial civilizations, it totally explodes the myth that their entire trillion-dollar, multi-trillion-dollar edifice is built on so i right it makes sense to me that they would go back to the old lie um because it's just what what worked for
Starting point is 00:22:15 them for so long yeah no no fear fear each other fear the humans not the aliens yeah fear each other did you see turkey just made a an autonomous gun shooter dog robot thing see yeah they did that is cool though that's so cool i can't wait to be killed by one of those i can't wait for one of those blow my shit and have uh jim kramer my shit now just so sad you say that to one of those killer robot dogs you bum the robot dog out you're like go ahead man just blow my shit in half i think i've made it pretty clear that like i i'm like cool with death as long as i die in some like very cinematically spectacular way yeah like you want a platoon type i want to be eaten byaws like I'm okay with Being eaten by a shark if it's like
Starting point is 00:23:05 Bigger than your ordinary Great white shark and it Eats me whole and makes me Spit up blood before taking me down You know like yeah Cool or if I'm gonna get shot By military technology it would Be cool if it was on a robotic dog
Starting point is 00:23:21 Right but before but also like You're on your knees like begging it real pathetic yeah suck your dick you're like dude what the robot's like dude what are you saying to me bro just come on fucking do it i don't even care you're bumming me out uh while functioning um anyway so jim kramer yes mr mad money himself or i guess we just call him bad with money he's out here money sad money yo right now my man is sad money xl because you know facebook stock took an absolute shit i don't know what that means but i mean i know that it lost it like my 20 percent value some 20 or something like like that. And Jim Cramer is out here like on CNBC.
Starting point is 00:24:08 Just listen to him. He's apologizing for telling people to buy Facebook or Meta stock, whatever the fuck it's called. Free cash flow. Last year, 9.5 billion. Now less than 1 billion. Let me say this about this. I made a mistake here. I was wrong. I trusted this about this. I made a mistake here. I was wrong.
Starting point is 00:24:27 I trusted this management team. That was ill-advised. You were sure as extraordinary. And I apologize. Look, everyone's all weirded out. Okay. What did you get wrong? Okay. what did you get wrong okay how bad
Starting point is 00:24:51 did you fuck up my man we don't act like it's a big deal or that it's costing anybody their livelihood why are you acting like you lost money you're still spending fucking money from 06 the fuck are you talking about that's the good news about being on one of these financial business channels is you have
Starting point is 00:25:08 the insider information. And also, you're like one of the few people who gets paid. Line goes up. Line goes down. It's all good, baby. It's all good, Jim Cramer. Chill out. People are tuning in.
Starting point is 00:25:20 I mean, again, I think looking at his track record never listen to a single fucking thing this guy says right but also that's just clear you know Stephen A. Smith of like financial advice he's just screaming about what is happening at a louder volume than everybody right exactly so
Starting point is 00:25:39 it was biased oh no shit for real the thing that the company was telling you about themselves was biased um yeah well look look jim cramer uh you know go lick your wounds or whatever but are you gonna give are you gonna give money back to people at all or anything like that how much money you got you feel that bad any money i don't have any i can I don't have any. I can't even pay. Then, sir, why did you just eat this meal? I don't know. I used to have money.
Starting point is 00:26:09 I thought, I'll do whatever. Please. I'll suck your dick, man. Jesus, get Jim Cramer out of here. Jim, stop. Sir, this is a Wendy's. But yeah, the hubris here is extraordinary, Jim. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Great to see. Yeah. On your fucking behalf. Hate to see it. Anyways, those are some of the things that are trending on this October 28th. We are back on Halloween with a whole ass episode of the show. Yep. Till then, be kind to each other.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Be kind to yourself. Get the vaccine. Get the flu shot. Yeah. Don't do nothing about white supremacy. And we will talk to you all on Monday. Bye. Bye. I'm Jess Casavetto, executive producer of the hit Netflix documentary series, Dancing for the Devil, the 7M TikTok cult.
