We're back with season two of the Amber and Lacey, Lacey and Amber show on Will Ferrell's Big Money Players Network. Or Lacey gets it. Do it. In California during the summer of 1975, within the span of 17 days and less than 90 miles, two women did something no other woman had done before, try to assassinate the president of the United States. One was the protege of Charles Manson. 26-year-old Lynette Fromm, nicknamed Squeaky. The other, a middle-aged housewife working undercover for the FBI.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Identified by police as Sarah Jean Moore. The story of one strange and violent summer, this season on the new podcast, current hear episodes of rip current early and completely ad free and receive exclusive bonus content by subscribing to i heart true crime plus only on apple podcasts hello the internet and welcome to this episode of the four hour zyder cut oh in this episode four hours four hours long yeah super producer Ana Hosnier says it is four hours because everything is in slow motion oh god
Starting point is 00:02:32 which is the Snyder special just everything's ramping up oh my god it is how long was the original Justice League like two hours so they doubled that shit I guess so if you go from 30 frames per second yeah yeah there you go yeah there you go uh you are miles i am jack this is batman
Starting point is 00:02:54 this is what is trending putin as in vladdy vladdy poots uh is trending he's having like some real i know you are but what am i type thing yeah with biden over biden saying he's a murderer takes one to no one right yeah that's the latest one okay yeah i mean that's her discourse is now. Schoolyard shit. Yeah. It's just funny that... Right. Because that's not, like, that doesn't tie into the public perception of Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:03:33 No one's like, I knew it. I always suspected Joe Biden was a murderer. So it just, it seems... I mean, like, yeah, you could say, like, any, you know, U.S. president is technically a murderer, right? Yeah. Vis-a-vis the military. So I guess, yeah, if we're having that conversation,
Starting point is 00:03:50 go off, Vladimir. Let him go. But also not tying into public perception is Putin being like, you're a murderer acting like a child because people think he's like Kaiser Soze. But people from Russia are like, no, he's like a buffze, but people from Russia are like,
Starting point is 00:04:06 no, he's like a buffoon. He's just a bad liar who has figured out how to play the game. How to be irremovable from office. Joe Biden is trending for other news, not news really, just for other gif. He fell down while trying to walk up the stairs. I mean, look, one day he's a hologram. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:32 Next day he's flying up the stairs. Uh-huh. I don't know. Yeah. I mean, have you seen any? What it looked like to me was someone who wasn't exactly the most spry, doing a little more than they should have been. Right. Because he was trying to be like,
Starting point is 00:04:47 oh, I'm Joe, I'm going up these motherfucking stairs. I'm sure you're almost 80 years old. Just chill the fuck out. You're not going to get up the stairs as quickly as you think you are. But, yeah, and he tripped. You got to pick those feet up. Get them feet off the ground.
Starting point is 00:05:01 I feel for the man, you know? Because he, this does tie directly into his public perception right that he's like too old for the job and so he feels like he needs to jog everywhere uh like jogging up it was like when elizabeth warren was trying to you know during the primary trying to combat negative uh misogynist stereotypes of her like not being uh spry enough for like up to the manly job of being president um fucking the earth up right yeah he's he he tried you know and i mean at least trump knew his limitations he's like i'm gonna fuck with stairs fuck him and then he'll be real slow it's interesting going down a ramp look like he's in the fucking smooth criminal video just like leaning forward it's uh i mean this isn't a bad
Starting point is 00:05:50 like this is a stumble more than a fall it's not yeah but it's it's interesting that it's two in a row because i've never like i've had the uh you know you you trip a little bit and you recover and immediately after recovery is the last time I'm going to trip again. Wow. I won't be tripped again. Hey, man, you can't trip me. That's one thing about me. You can never trip me.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Untrippable, bro. Untrippable. I'm like straight edge, bro, because I can't trip. That's the first thing on my uh resume actually is untrippable okay uh the ncaa tournament has begun march madness wow yes i had to submit to that company bracket bro oh well oh come on man it's just doesn't matter you see a lady and i'm good i know that was a that was a fun game. Did you watch it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I mean, I caught the highlight package. Part of me was like... Yeah. Because you know people go to SC shit talking or whatever. But see you out there. Took them down. Because Michigan State, people were like, this shouldn't be an 11 seed.
Starting point is 00:07:00 They're better than that. Yeah. I mean, look. They're confident. We'll see what they do. I mean, I don't expect much, but it's nice to see better than that. Yeah. I mean, look, they're confident. We'll see what they do. I mean, I don't expect much, but it's nice to see them get in. Right. Enjoy your March madness full weekend if you give a shit about any of this.
Starting point is 00:07:15 You going to get mad? You getting mad this weekend? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Who you got taking the tournament? Gonzaga. I don't know. Okay.
Starting point is 00:07:22 For no reason other than that everybody thinks they're going to win. I have Georgetown going to the Sweet 16 even though they're 12th seed. Not all chalk. I like that. A 5-12 never disappoints. Usually they lose in the next round.
Starting point is 00:07:40 Let's just put one thing at a time. I'm just nervous. The 12 and the 5- 512 that's good for them and then try and change history after that yeah they're also getting so much coverage as like the underdog everyone thinks is gonna win that i feel like they won't um but uh shout out to patrick ewing yeah just for that i was just thinking the other day because we were talking about joan howard and patrick ewing and then joan you know all the children now playing for each other right Yeah, just for that. I was just thinking the other day, because we were talking about Jawan Howard and Patrick Ewing, and then Jawan, you know, all the children now playing for each other.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Right. And I just thought of that picture of John Thompson and Patrick Ewing with Ronald Reagan when they won the championship, and it's like the weirdest fucking trio. The most 80s picture of all time. Yeah. And Ewing is in his uniform, right, in the picture? Or at least he's definitely in his shorts. He may be wearing like the shooting shirt or or at least he's definitely in his shorts he may
Starting point is 00:08:26 be wearing like the shooting shirt or something but he's definitely in his shorts um yeah i don't know like see look it's me and the basketball guys huh ron reagan where am i who am i falcon and winter soldier is trending and uh oh yeah let's give them the detailed breakdown that they have come to expect from us when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Oh, yeah. Jack, start them off. So this guy, he's like fighting on skis, probably, because he's exactly. And then Falcon, man.
Starting point is 00:09:00 I mean, this is probably a sequel to Falcon and the Snowman. Is that? Yeah yeah i think so it's apparently it's about some kind of bird and a snowman i believe i actually know more about the marvel cinematic universe from children's books than i know about it from uh from the movies from the movies oh you have like the adapted kids books oh yeah yeah okay cool i mean so falcon uh i know that he i know no relevant information other than that he uh has a falcon suit and that i think it's deon sanders as the falcon and then uh memory serves me correct i've never even that was Winter Soldier is Bucky Barnes
Starting point is 00:09:46 and I remember seeing him in the movie and being like, well, cool of them to cast somebody who I've never seen or heard of before. But I guess he's a known actor and I'm just old and washed. But people say they like it.
Starting point is 00:10:02 So good. I'm glad. But if you like that that you have something to watch I tried watching that show Debris I was like what the fuck is this Debris? because Her Majesty started watching Lost she finished Lost she never watched it before and her mind is broken now
Starting point is 00:10:18 and she's like we need to watch something like I missed Lost Debris show seems Lost-esque in that it's like starting like an onion peeling back and what's really going on this is a bunch of space alien debris with like weird powers going on the pilot oh that's fun it's like it's the kind of thing though when you watch you kind of laugh at someone like the out there just so out in the open plot hole kind of stuff or just questions like this character you wouldn't do that but okay we're fine let's it's on nbc you're saying yeah yeah and i only knew because when i watched the premier league
Starting point is 00:10:51 on nbc sports it's like they just like have been forcing promo like right it's like is this the audience you think for the the up at four or five in the morning crowd watching footy is like yep oh debris great come and when sure fine and finally anthony edwards the actor from er is trending because i i guess he put up 42 in a national basketball association game i had no idea anthony edwards was in the n. I thought after he left ER, he's stupid. I couldn't believe it. You know what I mean? We know him as Dr. Mark Green, but I guess he's mean on the par K as well.
Starting point is 00:11:33 And he's curing the lack of points like a doctor would. Mean Mark Green. The Dr. G. Yeah, man. Oh, shit. When he went in for that, cradled, rocked the cradle, and then dumped it. Yeah, rocked the cradle in the NICU. It was in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Starting point is 00:12:00 He was rocking the cradle in that motherfucker. Okay, so this is actually a basketball player. Yes. As I do another research. And it's actually that rookie from Georgia who's just powerful. Right. He's playing out his mind. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:14 He has some of the best dunks, like in-game dunks on people that we've seen in a while this season. But he's also knocking down threes. He's pretty exciting.'s he's i mean yeah he's what what do you think him and probably what manuel quickly who you like in lamella uh i like lamella i let i think wiseman's gonna be good uh even though he's i i guess there's been like some issues with him like being a fit and like fitting into the team but like I I just like his game I think he's gonna be good love his I love the like his stoner hair too yeah me too he seems like someone who's like just focused on like his outward appearance is like I'm really just kind of more interested
Starting point is 00:13:02 in basketball than anything else I think he's to end up being the best player from this class. Or LaMelo. LaMelo is just super fun to watch. And, you know, Kenyon Martin Jr., I've been watching a little bit of his shit, too. He plays very aggressively that I like to see. Big fan of his dad. See, this is where we're having the same conversation. Again, I just want to tell him,
Starting point is 00:13:26 hey, loved your dad at Cincinnati. Loved your dad. We'll coach Bob Huggins over there at Cincinnati. Great times. Great times over there, kid. Huggy. Huggins. My dad used to coach against that guy.
Starting point is 00:13:37 When my dad was at Dayton and he was crushing it, Huggins was crushing it at Cincinnati. That's probably a grudge match, huh? Oh, yeah. At that time, it was not much of a rivalry. Dayton was pretty bad. Anyways, shout out
Starting point is 00:13:54 to Anthony Edwards putting up the big 4-2. I am going to enjoy watching that dude play basketball for a long time. Long may it last. Long may this young man continue his career for at least probably 10 more years.
Starting point is 00:14:10 This has definitely been cognitively the oldest day of my life. I have felt extremely old. Saying Kenyon Martin Jr. out loud. Being like, he's already in the NBA? I thought he was just uh last i remember i used to
Starting point is 00:14:27 i used to i held you as a baby remember when he was yay high um there was a dude at the kibitz room uh at canters like this bar he would always lie and tell you he held you as a baby and he said he knew you he's like wait i know wait who's i held you as a baby and it became this thing like you didn't hold anybody if they were a baby and he lied he said he knew you. He's like, wait, I held you as a baby. And it became this thing where you're like, you didn't hold anybody when they were a baby. And he lied. He said he was in the Gap Band. What a great, great figure. Local bar.
Starting point is 00:14:54 Yeah. I held you as a baby. Oh, man, I held you as a baby. Your breath has discolored my hat. Please back away. Oh, shit. All right. That's going to do it for this week.
Starting point is 00:15:10 Another one in the books. We are back Monday with a whole ass episode of the show. Until then, be kind to yourselves. Be kind to each other. Wear a mask and don't do nothing about white supremacy. We'll talk to you all on Monday. Bye. Bye. Bye.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Señora Sex Ed is not your mommy's sex talk. This show is la plática like you've never heard it before. Starting point is 00:16:01 Hi, I'm Akilah Hughes, and I'm so excited about my new podcast, Rebel Spirit, where I head back to my hometown in Kentucky and try to convince my high school to change their racist mascot, the Rebels, into something everyone in the South loves, the Biscuits. I was a lady rebel. Like, what does that even mean? It's right here in black and white and prints. It's bigger than a flag or mascot. Listen to Rebel Spirit on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. There's so much beauty in Mexican culture,
