Here's what you missed.
There should not be a single law enforcement agency.
It does not have body cameras.
It's real.
Black farmers have been under attack.
This is just the latest example of them just slapping DEI on anything.
It's raw.
And I'm sitting here going, they are playing y'all for fools.

Hello, the internet, and welcome to this episode of the weekly zeitgeist.
These are some of our favorite segments from this week, all edited together into one
nonstop infotainment laugh stravaganza.
Uh, yeah.
So without further ado, here is the weekly Zes.
Zykeist.
What is something that you think is underrated?
So I'm somebody who sunburns very easily.
So what I love are big floppy sunhats.
Like, you know, the kind, I'm not talking about just like a bucket hat.
I'm not talking about a Jamirquois situation.
I'm talking about like a giant, it like, it has the wingspan of a bird level sun hat.
Like not a dash of sunbat.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, like something like that that's like also got like the backflap guy.
I've just accepted that like I'm never going to look cool again.
Right.
Let's just go.
Yeah, let's just let's go.
I noticed more and more people walking around with umbrellas in these heat waves like around
Los Angeles.
And I feel like that did make me have the thought.
I feel like guys, let's just, let's just accept it.
We're Australia now, you know.
We're going to be wearing that.
It's just the base level acceptance of UV rays will fuck your shit up.
You know what I mean?
And also like the idea of like the people we used to think look cool, man, those people
were getting like melanomas and shit.
Yeah.
Like man, what happened to like those old timey movies where guys were just out there in the field,
just sun baked face?
Yeah, they aged terribly and probably had terrible skin also.
I mean, that's why I carry with me.
Protect your skin.
I carry with me an umbrella, a big floppy hat.
Also some sunscreen and a gun.
So the sun understands.
There you go.
So the sun like knows what's about.
You got to lick off a couple shots at the sun.
Straight up at it.
You're like that.
That fucking tests me, bro.
Oh, for me.
Yeah, yeah, melanomaic cone for me.
That's right.
I'll shoot them off.
I don't know about that.
Yeah, got to.
I mean, it's also the thing, like, it's funny because my mom growing up, you know, like a lot of,
especially like Asian women in the like late 80s, we're really being like, bro, don't.
The fucking son is our worst enemy being fair skin.
This shit will cook you.
My mom used to fucking dress up like a beekeeper and shit picking me up from school.
I was just going to say beekeeper.
Yeah.
The people had jokes for my mom, bro.
And now look at my mom, people are like,
damn, bro, your mom looks so fucking good for her.
I'm like, yeah, because guess what?
She, her biggest op was UV rays.
And she fucking, she did battle valiantly with them.
And now she's laughing and she stays indoors.
Yeah, she won.
Yeah.
My wife has a mask that looks like Darth Vader's mask
that she just like drives around in.
But it's like, it's like one big, like the thing that
sunglasses lenses are made of.
Just one big visor of sunglasses material that fucking rules.
Optic lens.
Yeah.
My girlfriend makes,
we were talking about Dracula shitting himself earlier.
So my girlfriend makes fun to me because I try to like plan most of our dates at night.
Just because like I don't like being in the sun.
Yeah.
And she's just like, are you a fucking vampire?
Yeah.
I'm like, maybe.
Oh my God.
Please.
Now, go fucking make a deliberate and hasty toilet.
I do go toilet.
So we get to our date.
Vampire. We were talking about Dracula,
inviting someone else to take a shit, not shitting himself.
Although it does raise the question what,
whose blood makes Dracula shit himself.
You know what I mean?
Oh, like, what's Taco Bell blood?
Yeah.
Yeah, is it Taco Bell Blood?
Is it like, oh, God.
These American diets.
Talking shit when he bites you.
He's like, American blood is like Taco Bell Blood, for sure.
Yeah, yeah.
He's like, what about me, Dracula?
Oh, I don't know.
Maybe later.
I ate earlier, but thank you.
What about me?
Yeah, I'm watching my macro.
Yeah.
I ate his blood and wake up with indigestion.
I fucking luid this fucking Taco Bell blood.
What was that, Dracula?
Nothing.
Just.
He's burping chalupa burps after eating someone's blood.
Anyways, big floppy son, hats, shout out to them.
What is something you think is underrated?
Underrated, absolutely.
I've experienced this in real time this year, and that is taking a hard risk and leaning into
something you are extremely passionate about. Obviously, the Dolly Parton situation, you know,
renaming that airport was a big risk. Like, creating that petition and putting that online
was basically signaling to the world that I was mentally unwell, right? And I stood on two feet
with it. You know what I mean? As the kids say, I stood on business. You know what I mean? I stood on business
and I said it, and it came back around, and it ended up being something that was so much more than I
ever managed it being. You know what I mean? And able to bring joy and prosperity to people and
be able to light up the light and be able to give basically a little, a rhinestone on her legacy was
incredible. And that wouldn't have happened if I wouldn't have taken a wild risk and if I didn't
lean in hard into something I was passionate about. And I feel like so frequently, we're so scared
to like, be passionate about anything. You know, everyone's very nonchalant. Nobody wants to like
anything too much.
be shallant.
Go hard.
Go hard on your obsessions.
Like some shit hard.
If that's what you're into, get into it.
Who cares?
Yeah.
Like really, really love it hard.
You know what I mean?
Why not?
What's going to cost you?
Do you mind if asked you question?
How tall are you?
I'm 5'9.
That's crazy because when you stand on business, you're seven feet tall.
Wow.
Exactly.
And I can't believe it.
That's what I'm talking about.
That's people need to know that, okay?
10 toes down.
Which does make flying very uncomfortable, unfortunately.
You're going to stop standing on business.
When you fly.
She stands on business class.
She lays down in business class.
I lay down on business class.
I lay down on business class.
Okay, that's how that works.
But yeah, that's so true.
Like, we're in such an era where, like,
cringe is like the word of the day and younger people are so,
so risk averse and not willing to just, like,
open up to falling into whatever desire is and to really go full force with it.
And it's just too.
like I just saw a clip of Charlie the creator talking about this where he's like,
I see a lot of younger artists like they put out a new song and then they just post it once
and then they're done because they don't want to make it look like he's like,
he's like, bro, how much time did you put into that song to only post it once?
Like let people know that you put time into some shit.
I mean, it's just whatever.
It's not that big a deal.
It's just whatever.
It's just my, you know.
Okay.
Well, then that's the result you're going to get.
It's just like the sounds that God put in my heart.
Yeah.
But yeah, man, you have to be proud of something that you do, right?
Like, get out there, be proud of it.
Say whatever it is that if it's, you know, something you say.
I mean, obviously, if you, I mean, if you're passionate about some wild shit, like, that's a different story.
But hey, go off.
Be passionate, I guess, you know.
Just be careful because there will be people who will also stand on business in opposition to you.
And then it might get a little dicey.
Yeah.
But with Dolly, like, I was a little worried.
I was like, God, I hope nobody takes this the wrong way.
Like, I hope nobody takes this and thinks that I'm trying to do this to, like,
go viral for me or to be like I was really concerned about like offending her family you know what I mean
because I didn't want anybody to think that I was trying to take advantage of her death and was really in
my head about it and then I had to like talk to a couple people and they just reminded me like no man
this is really good like this is dolly and it came through in the comments like I was waiting
like waiting for something bad to happen in the comments and like literally all of the comments were
positive there was only like five or six comments on every single post in total
after like over a million views, there was like five negative comments.
Right.
She was the one that is just everybody, yeah, everybody, no matter who, was just like, yeah,
we fuck with Dolly, we love her so much.
And then there was one of the most instructive parts of doing the Dolly research was that, like,
there was a moment when a right wing grifter on like one of those fucked up sites, like,
got decided to write an article that was like, why Dolly Parton is actually like a fucked up person.
And, like, that article lasted a day and a half on the internet.
And then the person, like, wrote an apology letter like they had committed murder.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Came out.
I was like, I'm so sorry.
I actually love Dolly Parton.
This was not the right way to make this point.
Right.
It's funny too.
But they got that person composed about eugenics and racism and, like,
yeah, yeah, yeah.
Because somehow, nobody's to say anything.
Third Rail, don't fuck with Dolly Parton.
Yeah.
No, I laughed because, like, there was, like,
one string of comments from some lonely bot that was like about in reference to what I looked like.
And it was like, she's over 175 pounds.
And I was like, yeah, 289 pounds.
What do you do?
Of course.
You know, and then it was like just other comments of like, oh, you know, she's so fat,
she's going to die early.
And then I just had fun with it because like, I'm so confident in who I am.
Like that shit doesn't bother me.
So I just was like having so much fun.
I was like, yeah, like, let's hope I die early.
Like being a woman on this planet is exhausting.
Like I just, you know, it was like every time they.
posted something and then people started seeing it and like people fucking pounced on that person and then
the comments like magically disappeared you know but it was so funny to me that I was like wow even as
a fat woman like literally talking about the most beloved thing in the world there's always going to be
at least one fucking loser yeah right one fucking loser that's like but she's fat yeah she's a she's fat
though I better I better way in here yeah all the more to fucking eat you with my guy like
What are you doing with it?
All right.
Like I am the big bad wolf.
I will come over, stand on my business, seven feet fall, and fucking shit on your face.
Like, yeah, I'm disgusting.
You know?
Yeah, exactly.
It was so funny to me.
But yeah, man, stand up.
Be passionate.
Don't worry about being cringe.
To yourself and be passionate about the thing that matters to you.
What is something you think is overrated?
Cream top on a coffee.
Cream is like, whipped foam?
I sort of referred to this slightly early with the whole Frape thing, but like, we just have to, like, be cognizant of the fact when we're drinking milkshakes and pretending we're not, right?
I think we'll be more free if we stop trying to reinvent the milkshake wheel with, like, coffee.
It just is what it is, man.
And, like, you put a cream top on a coffee, you, like, you are one blender away from, you know, like, being a trial that,
the fair.
Yeah.
You know?
And so I,
yeah,
I,
I just think that,
I just think that we need to just mix all that.
We need to,
like the,
the,
the,
the,
the,
the,
the jury and Demssey,
you know what,
actually I'm going to change my,
nurturing your inner child,
let it go.
Let it go.
I know too many fucking adults with Legos.
I just got to say,
it's over.
It's over.
We're calling it.
Like,
like,
like,
like,
like,
they're like,
oh,
I need to protect my inner child.
Let it,
let him go.
Yeah.
That kid's gone, man.
He's lost.
Yeah.
That kid's tired, man.
The kid's tired.
He wants to go to sleep.
It's like my inspiration for my adult life.
Josh Baskin from Big.
I just want to have that inner child that never dies to an annoying degree, to a degree.
To a degree that puts people off.
He was sort of a literal trial.
In a way, in a way, he was sort of an inner and outer trial to a degree.
Yeah.
But yeah, that's true.
Like, everything is just a fucking milkshake from every time there's like a new viral like
Starbucks thing.
like, they're always drinking some fucking milkshake.
It's just like some blended nonsense thing.
People are like, my coffee is so delicious.
And it's like your coffee is ice cream.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's delicious though.
It's like, they're like, oh, it's a, it's a cold sugary cream.
And it's like, I know what that is.
Yeah.
You can't trick me.
I think the way I have like, because I had like a cold foam drink for the first time, like a few
months ago and just loved it for the reasons we're talking about.
I'm like, oh, this is like dessert.
But I was never like, I was like, I knew why I liked it.
I'm like, I like it because it's like a big, like, glop of like creamy stuff on the top.
And then I get to the adult part, which is the coffee.
But I wouldn't for a second act like it wasn't that.
I came home and was like, you can just put like fucking melted milkshake on top of your fucking coffee.
Now it's great.
I accidentally, I'm just like unrepressing this now.
I accidentally ordered like a like a cinnamon latte, a cold foam.
Like whatever they gave me.
wasn't what I thought it would be.
Yeah, they had like a like a like a pinwheel in it.
And like I like halfway through was like I just need you to know I am a professional.
You know like don't let this don't let this drink throw you off.
You know like I do my taxes.
That is your agent.
That's not they weren't like get this child out of.
Right.
Exactly.
Yeah.
It was an uphill battle from there.
It was sort of they were just like.
They just like.
It's yeah, it's not so much the drink choice.
It's just like.
thing on your hat.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And you're overall.
It's the king wheel that you stuck in it.
It's a giant lollipop.
I just constantly afraid you'll be kidnapped.
Did you just draw on like freckles with a marker?
It looks very aggressive.
Like it's like, like you're doing a theater play, being a child or something.
Yeah, I guess you're right.
I've been a bad boy.
All right.
They're like, listen, listen, we all agree you're adorable.
But can you rub off whatever you're using to black your tooth out?
too. It's just like super childish.
All right. You're right. You stopped saying, oopsie, dude.
I'm a 30-year-old man.
I wanted them to think that they could get a lot of years out of me.
Yeah, I mean, I did a lot of research on what you Hollywood sickos are into.
And I thought this was going to work.
I think I could read for like 13, 14, no?
Yeah. No.
Like they're redoing glee, huh?
Not with you, man. Not with you.
Let's take a quick break. We'll come back and we will talk about,
whether you should or should not bring a nice coffee to a job.
I think I know what Kyle's going to say.

Lisa, we should tell them about our new show.
Oh, my God, Lexi.
We have a new podcast.
It's called Don't Lie to Me.
I'm Lexi You Want You.
We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa Di Giulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references,
occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
I'm not going to get anywhere fighting.
That is wild.
I learned that about you today.
Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business,
and I've always got something to say.
If men were just honest about this, they were just honest about this.
be so much more peace in the world.
We're going to talk about dating, relationships, beauty, getting older, and a little wiser.
We're best friends, but we don't always agree.
Because you told us how accommodating you are.
Obviously, I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight, but there's only so much
fight I can fight.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Liar.

Well, we're only the best podcast in the entire world.
And we talk about pretty much everything under the sun.
For example, music we're listening to, underground music, trending music,
drama in music worlds.
Yes, sometimes we even talk about just everyday mundane situations in our lives,
like the cool Uber driver we just had.
the food we just say that is surprisingly delicious.
Or we'll talk about the Med Gala and the looks that they wore.

On the Iheart radio app, Apple Pods, or wherever you get your podcasts.
This is Jay Valentine.
I've spent my career on the executive side of this industry,
multi-platinum songs, building artists, and building business.
And alongside my brother Tank, the superstar R&B singer, songwriter, and producer,
we've created something special, the R&B Money Podcast.
This is not just a podcast.
It's a safe space where artists, executives, and fans of R&B music come to reminisce.
Pull back the curtain and tell the stories that shape this culture.
The real history behind the hits.
That was Hood Famous.
Yeah.
And then Real Love came out, and it blew up.
We lived in a project.
Yeah, and they're seeing all the success.
They're hearing the music and we had nothing.
We're covering the entire spectrum from Smokey Robinson, Alicia Keys, B2K,
Mary J. Blige, legends, current stars, and everyone who's contributed to the sound of R&B.
You come out the gate with a hit.
And it's not Michael Jackson out of number one.
Come on, I was like, hold on.
I'm not a MJ out of the number one spot.
If you're a super dedicated R&B fan who wants the real discovery, the real stories,
this is your podcast.
This is the R&B Money Podcast.
Listen to R&B Money from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
And we're back.
We're back.
And, hey, I Slap has taken over.
Yeah.
The world, our minds, our lives.
Our parents' Facebook feeds, especially.
Yeah, they seem particularly.
Why is that?
Is it just because they are not very medias having?
Yeah, because they're all from the, that's neat.
generation.
You know, like everything's been neat to them.
And like, oh, this is, wow, that's neat.
Look at this video.
That's like, it's not really about interrogating if it's real or not.
It's like you just, you're presented a thing and you go, wow, that's neat.
That's happening.
That's interesting.
That's why we have an entire generation who just like watches Fox News and goes, oh,
that's neat.
So it's all immigrants.
Yeah.
Oh, that's neat.
Okay.
Don't need to do much more investigating there.
But yeah, now I don't know how much you have dealt with older relatives who are.
into AI, I've had to regularly shame my mom, sometimes my dad, when they'll be like,
have you seen this thing? And it's not like a news thing. Just some weird thing. It's like,
this movie theater's got Waterpoint. Like, that's fucking AI. There's no fucking movie theater
where a title wave is coming in and potentially drowning people in the audience. That's a good,
that's a video I see a lot. Maybe there should be. I know. Wait a second. Hang on. And be a little
just 40x theater's next level. Right. For Titanic? I mean, come on. Yeah. Yeah. And
But the shot on the screen would just be like a wave coming at the camera.
It's like no narrative sense.
This isn't a movie that I've ever seen.
And like for my mom, especially she, like if it's a cat video, doesn't matter if it's AI.
Look.
It's like this cat's got a chef's hat on.
The subtext of this conversation is Miles had to do this for me one time when I showed him all
these videos of raccoons jumping.
I think it was an audience.
I think the listeners were like, no, it was a super producer cat.
Oh, yeah.
producer Catherine Lowe was like,
I think that those videos that you shouted out of...
Such a kind way to tell you to.
Raccoons jumping on trampolines.
I was like, did raccoons have discovered trampolines?
All of a sudden, there's all neat videos.
Isn't that neat?
Yeah, that's neat.
So got my ass, so who am I to talk?
Yeah.
It's hard.
It's difficult.
Yeah.
They have a new...
It's hard.
It's very hard for some of us.
They have a new fave that is just so, so strange,
kind of uncane.
It's hard to really figure out.
So Jezebel pointed this out in an article they just published about this like crying toddler
video trend on AI, but not just like a baby had a boo-boo or something.
No, which I'm like hyper-equent toddlers who are expressing intense grief at like a funeral.
At an open casket funeral.
Open casket or open bed funeral because again, AI doesn't know what the fuck is going on
where it's like kids crying over.
and it's typically a dead father who is in the military.
So I think let's show the class one of the first examples of the little boy with the plastic hammer.
And it looks like the dad is just in a hospital bed, but his blanket is the American flag, not quite a casket.
But also they're outdoors?
It's a dead soldier on a gurney.
Oh, yeah, it's a cot.
It's a hospital cot with an American flag over him.
and they've just brought him directly from the hospital in full uniform,
put the American flag over him,
and then put him in front of his three-year-old son,
who is then going to give this speech.
Daddy, I brought my plastic hammer.
We have to fix my wooden bed.
Get up and help me, Daddy.
And he puts the...
So, all right.
So that one, like again,
I brought my plastic.
hammer. We have to fix my wood in bed. I don't know. Yeah. The AI is just, you know, getting a little
poetic. Yeah. But it's very strange because it's a bunch of adults standing like in formation behind him.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's no seats. There's no real funeral. I don't see like a person of
dressed for a few people. Everybody's dressed like they just stepped in from spring break in.
It looks like the avatars of people that would be in my replies in the summer of 2020 on Twitter.
That's what it looks like.
It's all like wrap around sunglasses, tank tops, jeans shorts, and just like solemn, somber Americans.
So this next one is my favorite because it's another, it could be the same kid in a church.
So they were like, let's make it more funereal.
They're in a church.
The casket is there.
They've gotten a lot of the details right.
They have full uniform military people behind them.
The dead soldier is full uniform.
But he is.
His torso.
Torch is rotated 90 degrees.
Haunting.
He, like, cranked that shit hard, you know?
Yeah, yeah.
Well, that's how he dined.
I mean, like, that would be like the joky Mel Brooks version of, like, depicting a soldier blown in two at a funeral.
100% 90 degrees and like such a weird, like his head is hanging off.
Side of the fucking coffin.
The side of the coffin.
Also, the mother or wife partner is holding his laundry as if that's the flag or something.
He's usually holding his uniform.
a flag, but he's also, like, based on this, his uniform, uh, suggested he's eight feet
tall, but here we go.
Daddy, please wake up.
I miss you.
Don't leave me alone.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Daddy don't leave.
It's like all, it's all so cynical and like really playing on some psychological shit too.
A, like I feel like you're, you're basically using the leverage of like the war dead, which I
feel like boomers.
They respect.
They respect American soldiers.
Like, you know, there's clearly an inbuilt respect for people in uniform and sacrificing their
lives.
And then there's also like this thing of like a child crying, which I'm, I'd imagine to a lot of
them are grandparents or something, parents themselves.
So that's going to work on them.
The other thing I think of too is like it also feels very JFK Jr.
at JFK's funeral.
Right.
Where he's like saluting that little boy saluting the casket.
Yeah.
And I feel like that's another texture that boomers would be like.
like, that was so little boy.
That's their 9-11?
Yeah, yeah.
Like, to me, I kind of see all the pieces, but somehow it's all turned into this hyper-focused
form of slot.
Like, it's a ton of engagement.
It's also, it seems kind of like the cousin to those videos where a parent, usually the dad
has left on some tour overseas of a whatever in the military.
And then they come back and they've been gone for two years or whatever like that.
And they come back and then.
The kid doesn't know that their dad is there and then he pops out.
And it's like, oh, my God.
So it's just like the father-son relationship.
Yeah.
Everyone's got daddy issues for sure.
There's not one mom dying.
That's what I do know.
So it makes sense.
I feel like the people who raised boomers,
not the best men who had their shit together in a psycho-emotional way,
having things like Trump from World War II that they just manifested and it'd be like,
he just sat in his lounger all day.
You didn't say anything to me.
There's also a good chance that these are being shared
and liked by people who aren't allowed to see their grandkids, you know?
Yeah, right now.
Yeah, as we've learned a lot of this generation.
There is a, okay, I was talking to somebody
and I was trying to talk about the Michael Jordan,
fuck them kids, mean that they have?
And I Googled Fuck Them Kids, Jordan.
There's a book called Fuck Them Kids that is written by like a psychologist
or like a therapist.
Wow.
That's written for parents who are,
strange from their children and being like, man, fuck them kids that are ignoring you.
The like meme literate boomers.
Right.
It's called, and I'm like, what the fuck book is this?
It's like for people who don't understand.
Like, it's truly just written for the parent who has been left and trying to get them deeper
into their like cynicism about their children.
It's like, yeah, man, fuck them kids.
Anyway.
So with these videos, though, they get a ton of fucking engagement.
Oh, yeah.
And the thing is like, you know, and the article in Jezbolewell, they're pointing out,
the main thing, right, is like, the comments are full of bots and,
people looking for marks to scam.
And this is actually the best way to like bait to go fishing for marks, put up a video that
makes no fucking sense visually.
So like he is rocked like that.
He's at a 90 degree angle.
And if you're like intentionally.
I don't know.
In a way that they don't care because clearly the quality never mattered.
But if you're engaging with it, then they can start being like, oh, let me reach out to this
person and see if this thing was.
Someone with a really bad eye for detail.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
So these people are taking.
the bait. Yes, they are. And there's a clip, there's another clip I think we should just play that
like shows another version of this video where it's a child like under arrest at like a McDonald's or
something by a cop because they don't have enough followers. They do this other thing too for like a kid's
account. They'll be like, you got to follow this kid's account now because he's going to get
fucking arrested. That's like a black mirror. Yeah. It's the second. Yeah. You are under arrest.
Why? I didn't do anything.
You don't have enough followers and shares on your videos.
Please give me one more chance.
I don't want to go to jail.
If the person watching this video follows and shares, then you will be free.
Please share and follow.
Now look at the...
You are under arrest.
Just look at the comments underneath here.
Hold on.
I just need to see what his name is so I can like and follow.
Yeah, you don't want him to go.
But there's so many people who are like, let him go.
One of said, I'm here, sweetheart, and officer, please let that girl go.
Now, some are bots.
There are other people who are like, they're like, don't worry, I just followed.
And those are like legitimate responses.
And again, if you're a fucking scammer, you go, spider caught a fly.
Spider caught a fly is exactly like what's happening.
Big spider cuttle fly energy.
Look out for just do not tell, warn your fucking elderly parents.
Do not engage with this shit at all, at all.
Because it's also like they're filtering potential.
marks with these videos.
So it's, yeah.
Like, I mean, it kind of feels exactly where we thought we'd be with like AI
generated video.
Yeah.
Is that like first, the whole thing is like, people aren't going to know, be able to discern
the difference between AI and real videos.
Right.
And slowly it's creeping into more like political propaganda.
But like the lowest hanging fruit is stuff like this because it's completely unregulated.
And it's just like, I don't know, I'm just making fun stuff and seeing if people, you know,
cry for the soldier that was blown in two who's been rotated in the couch.
I just sloppily put his body back together.
Also, if you look at that first video where the shape of an elf, where the kid had the plastic hammer, the soldier's also crying.
Yeah.
It's even breathing, too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's all, again, it's all hay.
Actually, if you're crying over a casket, the dead body will cry.
That's true.
Yeah, Clapton wrote a song about it.
That's right.
Tears in heaven.
My mom is very smart and discerning and would not fall for the likes of any of this, but her mother, my grandmother, who is now dead.
May she rot in hell.
Oh, wow.
Um, she is, she was,
sorry.
And you're saying that purely because of how media illiterate she was.
Yeah.
No,
she was,
uh,
she was,
she didn't appreciate it.
No,
uh,
she was,
she didn't buy a single ticket.
That cop shit of fucking arrested her.
She did not sign up for my Patreon.
No,
um,
she was a horrible person.
She was homophobic and racist and just a god-awful person.
person, abusive, etc.
So, but, and
maybe it's related, but
she got several, like,
debit cards and credit cards
canceled, and my mom was like,
why did this happen? What's going on?
And it turns out she had,
this was like pre-AI, but she
would get all these, like, robocalls or just different
like spam phone calls and fall for
every single one.
It happened like five or more
times. They have her name on a list.
Yeah, like this lady.
Call her up.
Our core user, a power user for cameras.
We just want to secure your Apple ID account.
I'm calling from Apple customer security.
Oh, no.
Anyway, humiliating for me to have been related to her
and have some of the same genes and stuff.
Yeah, sure, sure.
You're fine.
You're fine.
You're doing fine.
Thank you.
It is funny that the story about AI that we heard heading into AI
was that they're going to be able to clone your grandkid
and then like have your grand kid call and be like,
I've been kidnapped, send money.
But like it's actually because,
because they're so fucked up
and they don't have relationships with their grandkids anymore.
They just have to create a composite grandkid for them to be like,
I'll give, yeah.
Is there,
you'd imagine there's a market for that for like a synthetic face time call
with a relative who you have no contact with right now.
What if that's what,
yeah,
they're like,
yeah,
actually I want the AI.
I want the girlfriend experience.
The AI girlfriend experience.
I want the grandchild.
experience.
Jesus Christ.
Hey, great idea of scammers.
I mean, honestly, just do that.
Just sell a fake grandkid.
Then you don't have to scam them.
They'll pay you like thousands of dollars.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's do it.
Let's do it.
Just fucking robot Thanksgiving dinner.
I mean, it's like hard.
It's like hard to square it either way.
It's like, do you use AI?
It's like then do you hire living actors?
It's like, no, I don't need to rope
and living children into this.
Yeah.
I'm trying to do it.
I'm trying to do this scam above board.
if possible.
Yeah, ethical.
There's actually, there is no way.
Yeah, yeah.
Quickly get into the rehearsal territory.
Yeah.
Season two of the rehearsal.
Mm-hmm.
Season one of the rehearsal.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's talk about Steve Hilton because this is one who, like, Caitlin with clavicular, had kind of missed me.
And I was like right on the verge of just having him sail on by.
He's probably going to lose the California gubernatorial race.
Pretty solid chance.
He's not looking good.
And he was about to just.
lose the election.
And then he was like,
let's make a little noise.
Yeah.
He's like,
let's do something interesting here.
Let's see.
Let's see what we can fucking get.
Let's,
do something that will not save my election,
but will make me horny when I watch it.
Yeah.
So look,
this billionaire Brit,
Steve Hilton, again.
Is British?
Yeah.
Yeah.
What the fuck?
And he's running for California governor?
Come on.
Is this allowed?
Yes.
What do you mean?
What do you mean?
Is it allowed?
you need it. You don't have to be born here.
You can't be president.
So his latest ad is getting
a lot of criticism, especially
from his fellow Republicans.
Because it's a creepy
hyper-sexualized garbage ad fantasizing about it.
This has to be AI too, right?
Someone on a tweet
that he posted of it said, this is AI, and he said, no,
it's actually not. I paid people to do this.
I don't even know. It doesn't matter.
I was going to pay them to do this anyway, so I figured why not film it?
Well, he said, he's like, no, this is actually a real.
I used a fantastic production company, although, who knows, it feels like it.
The version that we're going to play has the music filtered out so it doesn't get, like,
copyright struck.
That's why the filter makes the voices sound a little uncanny.
Because when I watched the original version, it didn't have that sort of like active filter voice on it.
Either way, it's irrelevant because it's the thrust of the ad that's fucking disgusting.
So you use that word.
Well, sorry.
But again, a hypersexualized scenario
of fantasizing about a world where women are voting against their own interests,
but in a sexy way.
Okay, one woman is wearing a shirt that says, resist.
Don't be nervous.
It's not that bad.
I've just never done anything like this before.
Like, what did my dad find out?
Just try it.
Look, give me your hand.
Okay, so it's like two women.
your eyes. She's grabbing this girl's hand.
And now it's like, what are they
doing? And I'll do all.
Hand is going off screen. He goes off screen, below
screen. She's kind of
wincing, unsure.
See?
And the reveal is
she's literally bubbling in her
ballot, says Steve Hilton, Republican.
I think
I liked it.
Wait a second.
I'll look it.
Wow, now lick it.
Now lick it.
It's the envelope.
And it just said, you know, just give it a try.
I hate it.
Just try it.
It doesn't make any sense as an appeal to voters in any way.
No, it's just stupid.
It's just an idea that a dip shit had for a video.
It's not to communicate.
Dude, again, I fuck.
This shorthand of people always haven't had fucking blue hair is so stupid.
Again, because both women in this.
have dyed hair, pink and blue, facial piercings.
Now we know.
Right.
Now we know we're in liberal California because of their blue hair.
But again, resist T-shirt and just merely being like, dude, like, imagine if they were just like coerced into voting for a Republican.
I still don't understand.
There's no logic whatsoever.
Yeah.
It's just salacious for the sake of it having like this double entendre of like.
Right.
Just try it.
I thought it was drugs at first when I first saw it,
but then, yeah,
it was clearly the sexual approach.
And in either case,
it doesn't make any fucking.
Yeah.
And the response,
like,
okay,
so a conservative Southern California school board president
who's running for state superintendent,
hates it,
said,
this is creepy,
weird,
disturbing garbage,
and said that the spot
represented the kind of messaging
that could push people away
from the Republican Party.
I'm glad she,
understands that. It's like, no, no, no, no, this is fucking weird.
And then another one, Republican Attorney General candidate, Michael Gates, also objected to the ad criticizing what he described as it's sexualized portrayal of young women.
Hilton doesn't see the big deal here because this is now a part of a series of ads that's going to come out.
Of the just try it. I can only imagine what other problematic scenarios we see.
Also, it's fucking illegal to be like, give me your hand. I'm filling in this.
ballot for you there.
Oh, yeah.
What is that?
That's voter fraud or something.
That's something.
That's bad.
And I don't want my, I don't need these Sapphic characters doing engaging in voter fraud.
This is a bridge too far for me.
He also, as again said, it's designed to reach Californians who may never have considered
voting Republican.
Yeah, for fucking good reason.
That's probably the problem, Miles.
That's probably the problem.
They just actually didn't know you could do it.
Yeah.
They actually thought it was a, we just needed to be taught by these sexy ladies.
Like getting.
in like a, you know, same sex
in like relationship, same gender
like what the fuck are even talking about?
Yeah.
Just got to fucking try and just see where it goes, man.
Yeah.
You might like it.
You might like, which is so odd.
The whole premise is you might like it.
Right.
I know your instincts are saying fuck no.
Yeah.
But come on.
Without any reasoning of like why you might like it.
No, no.
It's literally removed.
Just try it.
Content.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Any logic, any messaging.
Yeah.
I mean, again, when you literally have no chance, I get why you're like, they're like, fuck it, man.
Like, what are we going to do?
Like, we're going to get fucking killed anyway.
So throw up some cool ads.
I bet he thought it was cheeky, knowing him as a British guy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
As I do.
Those Brits are so cheeky.
I bet they were like, let's do a cheeky one.
The worst kind of Brit is a Brit who comes out here and becomes a fucking Republican billionaire.
You're just like the most disgusting fucking.
My five worst kinds of Brits.
Come in, number one.
Those are the only people who you can be like, go back to where you came from.
Get the fuck out of here.
Go back to he came from Orange County.
Yeah.
That guy in another life was the dad from Mary Poppins.
Or the dad from Mary Poppins' boss.
Right, right, right.
Sure, sure.
But yeah, now he's just hawking these terrible ads.
I mean, they, not good luck to you, but I'm glad the fucking consultants who talked
you into spending all this money.
They're fucking laughing their asses off.
Sure, sure.
I just fucking just did like two million dollars with the ads with this idiot.
Yeah,
I wonder if he like went to a Democratic consultant.
Like the consultant who worked for Kamala Harris and was like,
what we need to do is have a fashion week party where it's like Kamala Harris games of
Djanga.
But with your rights.
Yeah,
precarious.
Yeah.
Tower that are about to crumble.
Did you ever see that like election, uh, 2024?
It's pretty viral like in the,
build up. But yeah, I never look at the internet.
That's good. That's good.
Have you noticed?
Caitlin's got a spark. Yeah, exactly. I don't know what happened.
There's a light on the light.
It died in Caitlin's eyes. Wow. Thank you so much.
Is that truly because you're not looking at the internet? I got to try that.
Yeah. God damn. I got like a shark side. You got a shark side.
Dead dead. Dead. Distant. Yeah. Far away. But yeah, I wonder if this was them being like,
I'll tell you how to, you want to know how to reach Democrats. I've been working with
Democratic.
Talk to young lesbian.
Is it true?
I mean, clearly they're doing something with the idea of like sex cells.
Yeah.
But they're also, I guess, are they trying to appeal to like young queer people?
It doesn't matter.
They're so out of ideas that these are the ideas.
We're like, we're even looking on like, I'm not sure what you think this is doing.
And even your fellow maga freaks.
Yeah.
Also are like, I don't.
no, man. This is kind of, kind of fucking weird.
Right. Wouldn't MAGA people see the like pride flag and be like, or just the content of the whole thing?
We don't want them in our party.
Oh, yucky.
This reflects such a lack of thought put into, it encounters Democrats as like not actual people.
Yeah. Right. Right. What do I know about them? I'll show them that they can fill in the bubble.
Their wallpaper is a pride flag. They all wear resist T-shirts.
facial piercings and have blue hair.
That's right.
And they're all pressured into lesbian activity in college.
So we'll use that approach.
That's a thing we also know.
That's right.
Coercion.
Yeah.
That's right.
What?
Nailed.
Nailed on.
Great.
Great work.
They're already gay.
They're just being coerced to being Republican.
Yeah.
I guess.
Shrug.
I don't know.
That's the thing.
It's like a Rorschach test.
You can, you can project your own thing on there.
Wow.
Yeah.
All right.
Let's take a quick break, and we're going to come back,
and we're going to talk about some similarly top-notch tent,
some top-notch content, specifically the acting work of one David Ellison,
who now owns every company that makes movies.
Almost.
Yeah, almost.
We'll be right back.

Lisa?
We should tell them about our new show.
Oh my God, Lexi.
We have a new podcast.
It's called Don't Lie to Me.
I'm Lexi Iwano. We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa Di Giulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references,
occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
I'm not going to get anyone fighting. That is wild. I learned that about you today.
Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business,
and I've always got something to say.
If men were just honest about this, there would be so much more peace in the world.
We're going to talk about dating, relationships, beauty, getting older, and a little wiser.
We're best friends, but we don't always agree.
Because you told us how accommodating you are.
Obviously, I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight, but there's only so much fight I can fight.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Liar.

So sometimes we'll talk about, I don't know, the Uber driver we just had.
And how nice they were, or if we tipped them or not.
Come and find out.
Sometimes we'll talk about that weird news story from last week.
It's the one you're thinking about.
Trust me.
Or maybe we'll talk about music and what's happening in the underground or drama and music

And we're back. And we've talked a little bit about how the Wright has learned to make movies and Hollywood is terrified.
Of course, Ben Shapiro's Run, Hyde Fight, Infidels came out a couple weeks back and has just some of the most ridiculous, unintentionally hilarious scenes.
of action that we've seen in a long time.
And he's already in works on a new pro ice movie.
Again, like, that's such a weird and bad idea
that's so out of step with kind of mainstream beliefs
that like when they got the clearance,
they were like, we're making an ice movie.
And everyone's like, oh, thank God.
Like, it's about time that someone
make an anti-ice movie.
Right.
They're like, no, no, wait a second.
No, it's pro.
And then they saw what they were doing.
They saw what they were making.
They're like, oh, my God.
What the fuck is this?
And they're like, is that Danny Trejo?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Also, some names have been, I don't know if this is wishful thinking or if they're also hiding who they are from the people that they got involved.
No, this is it.
Yeah.
It sounds like this is a real call sheet they had.
A call sheet from the shoot reportedly list, Danny Trejo, Harvey Keitel and Henry Thomas, the boy from E.T.
Elliot.
So he fought.
Call ice on.
Me and me.
Exactly.
He fought to keep E.T.
away from the malevolent government agents
and is now taking the
federal government side.
With time. Now he's got second thoughts.
Yeah. I've learned.
I've learned. I mean, Danny Trejo,
he was in like that
cartoon that they did before.
I'm not surprised there because
this is not his first time
doing something with Daily Wire.
Yeah. Well, not for sure. I think that
like looking into this article and looking into
this. Something the article kind of mentions is that this is being filmed in a small town,
presumably kind of, I think, in Arizona or something like that.
Montana.
Yeah, yeah, Montana.
And they specifically call out that the small town that this is filming and has one food bank.
And the food bank has been inundated with security personnel working on the movie going to this
food bank.
And it's become kind of a problem with the city.
And, you know, like Danny Trejo, Harvey Kitell, and the kid from E.T.
doing this movie.
Like, that I could totally buy as like, okay, the phone's not calling a ton.
This is like a money move.
You know, like you're probably getting paid a good amount of money to do this.
Trying to keep your sag to go out.
Yeah, but it's like, I understand that.
Whereas these security guards are being so little that they have to go to a food bank in the
town, which tells me they're just doing it for the love of the game.
They believe in this project.
Wait, were they actually going to the food bank?
Yeah, yeah, it's mentioned a couple times in the article.
Yeah, the food bank in the town is being just inundated with people working on the production
going there because they need food.
And it's specifically security personnel,
which tells me they're probably not being paid great on this movie.
So they're not doing it for the money.
They believe in this project.
I mean, the first time we heard about run-hide fight infidels
was when they were like doing stunt work that was just like not acceptable.
It like didn't have any of the steps in place.
Like people were getting injured.
So they're doing everything in a real cut rate way.
Everything is anti, like Ayatzi picketed that film because they're like,
You guys are going to kill crew people.
Like, what are you fucking doing?
Wasn't there, like, a video that went viral that of, like, the star,
then we'd be falling out a window during a take or something?
Yeah, that was the stunt that, like, basically got the production shut down.
So this time on Saturday, Livingston, Montana's city commission,
unanimously passed emotion suspending production in response to concerns raised by citizens
over the disruption to business and the city's only food bank, as you mentioned.
They also cited, so the district, one of the one of the,
of the disruptions to the city's only food bank is that because they're not paying crew enough,
the crew is having to eat at the food bank. So that's an interesting insight into how they treat
people. They also cited the, quote, lack of notice regarding some of the productions, more
dangerous stunts. So again, they're just like doing things illegally. Yeah. Yeah, well, a lot of time,
too, when we first talked about it, there are people who just like turn a corner and see a bunch of
armed goons and they're like, oh, there are characters in a movie.
And they're like, what?
They have guns and like prop guns and stuff.
There's not even clear there's a film being shot here.
They also mentioned in the article that like all the security guards in the movie are
dressed like fucking paramilitary people.
It's like the machine guns.
Anyway, sorry I interrupted you.
No, no.
It's just like the whole thing.
Everyone's like, what the fuck's going on?
But then the other part too is that like it's, uh, all the protests that are going on
are actually also really fucking up.
uh you know the the production because you know we talked like last week about how people were like out
there singing ben Shapiro as a cuck to london bridge is falling down and it's murder is a cuck
it's muddying all the fucking audio for that they're picturing that they're that they're
capturing from the production so they're like fuck dude we're gonna have to spike that take because
everybody like we can hear them here's another clip of them like trying to shoot the film
and hearing people just protesting this again that
doing some kind of scene where a car's like, I don't know, driving into a crowd,
but there's fake gunshots, just know that.
But also the whole time you'll hear protesters just making it complete,
making the audio completely unusable for this production.
So there's like a car movie around.
They're like trying to shoot.
I thought it was going to be like subtle in the background.
No, they're, because they don't have enough, like,
of a crew to actually have doing it real yeah yeah it's so unfortunately because you're this is such
a stupid production yeah you're gonna be also uh things will be affected by people that are displeased
with the bullshit that's going um i also love based on context crews inclusion in this clip it feels like
this features a scene this it feels like this clip features a scene of an ice officer heroically
driving their car through a group of protesters yeah it's not sure yeah whose size
Yeah, yeah, like, what the hell are you doing?
Yeah, yeah.
Well, they're all Antifa, and they've all made the mistake of trying to protect an MS-13 gang boss.
Yeah, it turns out that the person that, they recreate the Minneapolis shooting of Renee Good.
Oh, I've heard about this.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But in this, like, she's...
She has murder in her eyes.
Yeah, she has murder in her eyes, and she's protecting an MS-13 person.
And also, notably...
At the behest of Antifa.
Antifa.
And let's not forget that the depiction of anybody who is against ISIS, somehow they're either
have to be overweight or have blue hair or both.
Overweight, blue hair and...
A feminine or something.
Bumping NPR.
Yeah, yeah, they give everybody fangs.
Yeah.
It's like, oh, they're basically monsters.
We did talk about how vampires represent what Republicans fear about Democrats.
They're like, you know, European, sexually ambiguous.
Yeah.
Sucking.
Anyway, let's talk about Barbie because so the way that they're trying to paint over the Warner Brothers Paramount merger is by, first of all, just changing the name.
So you'll never hear about Warner Brothers or Paramount again.
We'll just have Skydance for it all.
Wait, they're going to keep those brands, right?
Like, they have to keep those.
They're just the new, the new entity is called.
They're forming a new company that will ultimately be, okay.
Well, that's better.
It's still going to be fucking bad.
And then they have to start actually making movies all of a sudden.
And his bold idea is Greenlight a sequel to one of the most popular movies of all time.
He's trying to make Barbie 2.
And this is a crazy idea.
Like, I don't know where you got this idea from.
It's, again, one of the most successful movies ever made.
Nor is it a new idea.
Warner Brothers already spent months trying to put together a sequel for the movie.
Because, again, the original movie,
He made $1.5 billion.
And then David Zazlov wouldn't pay Greta Gerwig and the stars.
They're asking prices, which he called too generous.
So he's desperately in need of a hit to prove the merger isn't a giant cluster
fuck and fill the father's love-sized hole in his soul.
I'm really so interested to see what all the changes they're going to do to make Barbie
more of a conservative movie.
Right.
Like I'm sure they're going to like do a redo of that America for.
a monologue where she says now, actually, I don't like feminism.
She's going to actually wake up.
The movie starts with Barbie waking up and go, what a nightmare.
That was a crazy dream.
Back to Trad World.
I love it here.
I don't know.
I mean, like, I can also just see them thinking they understand what the juice is of that
and just completely going heavy-handed and the wrong thing.
Because, yeah, at the end of the day, all these people who are making these decisions
at this level at like Warner Brothers
Paramount Skydance are not
they're not creatives.
They're just pure creatures.
And this one knows what people want to see.
A hot masculine ken
that has burning eyes and feels like a Mustang.
You know what I mean?
Like a five eleven Mustang.
A huge horse cock,
all the things.
It is like the Mustang thing's definitely about the cock.
I feel like that's really like what he kept coming back to.
He's like the energy of a lot.
If he didn't need to do the cock thing,
it would have just stopped at lion.
but he had to come back to he's just like a real I don't know stallion you know what I'm
like short hand in like American man discourse like you're not bringing up a horse because
you're like oh man there's such a powerful animal right some depraved thing about either
how they've had their ball like they're gelding or wow look at this look at that horse
he's not it's not charisma like a horse it's hung like a horse
Look, it's also the main.
I'll say to the Torres' credit.
That's true.
If it was a hair thing, he has a real shiny mane.
Yeah, he has a real shiny mane.
He didn't mention that.
I know.
He has a real taper fade, not even that long, sissy hair, just a nice taper fade like
Travis Kelsey.
Yeah.
You get him out in a field and just open him up and he can really gallop and then you've got to water him a little bit.
Yeah.
Instead of feet, he's got hooves, which is weird on a human, but for him it was hot.
And also biblically problematic, but again, I don't read the Bible enough to know.
It may have had cloven hoves.
I can't remember what he was walking around on.
Oh, man.
And then the other movie news from over the weekend is nobody went to go see Dacre.
That's crazy.
Nobody?
Like almost like $8 million worth of people at the domestic box office.
It costs between $160 to $180 million to make.
Wow.
I did not realize it cost that much.
Like, that is, that's a big, that was a big bet they were taking on what is essentially a pure art film.
What is that like the worst?
I feel like Tom Cruise has never failed this bad.
So he did that mummy movie, which lost $95 million and killed the Dark Universe franchise.
Like they were going to do a whole dark universe movie franchise, like universe, the cinematic universe with like, and they started with the mummy, which I feel like was not the right choice.
That was the one that had like Sophia Butella in it, right?
I think so.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, you do Frankenstein or you do Dracula and have him go toilet, like all that.
They all stink.
Yeah, they invite people to go toilet.
They're all stinky.
They all stink.
That's your fucking problem.
But yeah, this is, this is a big one.
This is a, that people, also they're, they're estimating, the internal estimate is
$8 million.
And the rivals are like, we actually think it's closer to $7.5 million.
So, you know.
Wow.
For the record.
Just so you know, we'll know by today.
So I got to say, hot take,
it bombing so hard makes me want to see it more.
Same too, kind of.
Yeah, I am intrigued.
People hate it so much.
And at the trailer, I was like,
I think Inuritu is a great director.
I think it's definitely interesting.
It's odd.
I'm like, yeah, let me see some shit.
Well, no, no, I think it's like,
I think that the reviews are like, wow,
they took a real big swing.
And like, mostly it misses,
but sometimes it hits real well.
So I think it's like,
I think it's one of those things
where it's not boring bad.
I think it's just like divisive in a way.
Yeah, divisive in a way
that kind of makes me like,
want to watch it more, you know?
Well, yeah, because I think people are like,
it's just like smashing you over the head
with its messaging as like one consistent thing I've seen.
And then like, then I've heard In your E2
just be like, yeah, like that's kind of,
that's kind of the point.
Like that's the way I'm trying to tell it.
Kind of an important message, I would say.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Call me crazy.
But I think it's probably the difference in like a maximalist artist painting,
like a scene of a people having a conversation one way versus like an impressionist
and what you get from that.
And no, we'll see.
It could be total shit though too.
And that's what I'm excited for.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think it's like this, this reminds me a lot of the mid-2010s Johnny Depp movie Mordecai
where it was like, where it was just like, you watch that, you know, you look at all the
promos for this and you're like, what the fuck is this?
not an intriguing way.
Like it's like, I think that,
I think that oftentimes the Hollywood system
is so, is so stuck to the idea of like,
people will show up for a star,
but it's like, that seems to be the only argument here.
Yeah, whereas like, I feel like with Digger,
I mean, I hear that it's like an interesting,
artful, cool movie, but I'm not getting any of that
from the fucking promo shit.
I'm just getting, oh, Tom Cruise is going to do
an old man impersonation voice.
Yeah.
You know, and it's like, oh, I need more.
than like, oh, it's a satire or whatever.
But like, I think that like every article about it says basically stuff like, you know,
they would have promoted more, but that would have ruined a twist.
And it's like, yeah, the movie having a twist in it and Tom Cruise is not enough for me.
Right.
Yeah.
The six cents manage that all the time.
Yeah.
On a twist.
Well, well, I guess we'll have to have to see with our own eyes with mine own eyes.
I'm just saying Skydance can't take over soon enough.
Thank you.
We're all thinking it.
Oh, my God.
I read your Jam pointed out that it made $3 million less than Mercy,
which was that movie where Chris Pat Pratt argues with an computer
well strapped to a chair for 90 minutes.
Yikes.
Which was also itself seen as like a big flop.
And also heavy-handed.
Oh, boy.
Well, did you watch that one?
I saw part of it.
I tried to watch it.
And I was like, it's exactly what I thought it would be.
I had an easier time getting through the runner, the Galgado film.
That was more like exhilaratingly bad.
And by exhilarating, I mean, like just bad enough that you're like,
keep going, keep telling me you're shitty.
Yep.
All right.
Yeah.
I think that I have this like theory with bad movies where it's like,
I think that watching a movie like that,
like I'm sure the runner probably takes a lot of crazy swings,
even just like Galgado acting.
Yeah, yeah.
It's like,
the directing that's jarring the more than.
Yeah, for sure, for sure.
It's like, like, it's really fun to watch a director take a bunch of big swings and whiff it.
It's boring to watch a director, kind of try to bunt it for a whole movie.
Yeah.
And it's like, oh, you made a bunch of choices.
They were all the wrong choices, but you made a ball.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Nah, I don't need no button-ass director, bro.
Fucking swing for the fences.
Even if you whiff, you know what I mean?
Yeah, land on your ass.
I want to see that.
I want to take a swing and spin around and your legs twist up like spaghetti.
Yeah, for sure.
And then you unwind the opposite direction.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
All right.
And then we do have an update because last week,
clips of the alleged first ever MMA fight
between a human and an actual humanoid robot went viral on social media.
We did call it out because that robot looked tough as hell.
Did he kick the shit out of that guy?
But the guy with a fake dumper.
So the company behind the fight has received a cease and desist order
from the California State Athletic Commission
who ordered them to immediately stop hosting and promoting
human robot cage fights or else face a misdemeanor charge, which appears to be like the person
who got, who received it said, we made it, boys. California sent us a cease and desist for unsanctioned
human versus humanoid robot cage match.
But it's, but it's, yeah, you didn't really make it.
And also the humans weren't trading clutches with an autonomous T-800. The robot was controlled
by a human handler the entire time. So it's just real steel on a smaller scale. It's not, it's not
Terminator boxing.
It's real stealing.
How long do we think it's going to take before Trump makes humans being able to
fight robots in a cage match ring, his main platform?
I don't know.
He's going to get those big strong Oklahomans out there against the Terminator.
He's probably like, I've tried folks, but the muscles are just, they're not believable
on the robots.
I just can't, they don't look the same and I'm not as interested.
They can't, they can't figure.
And also just like, again,
like, dude, the state told us to stop isn't the flex it is that they think it is also.
You can get you can get a season to assist for just for many kinds of things, including just doing wildly reckless shit.
They're just describing what you described yourself as doing.
Right.
We made it, guys.
We're going to get in trouble with the state for this dumb idea.
We made it.
Yeah, the state said, hey, don't do a robot fight.
Hey, knock that shit off.
Slam duck.
There's also like they weren't saying like because this is dangerous and soon the robots will
rise up. They were saying, uh, you didn't like pull any of the right permits for any sort of like
you can't have full contact martial arts event without the prior approval of a commission.
This is the next Supreme court case. They're going to take this all the way to the Supreme
court. They're like, this is not, this is not an athletic bout between a two human beings.
Actually, your honors. Right. This is this is a humanoid versus human. And what if this robots rights?
you have none.
You have none.
Also, like, state athletic commissions are so weird.
There are a couple of states that pro wrestling companies like WW and AEW do not have events at
because weirdly the state athletic convention still oversees those events.
So it's like they'll have to get a state.
Yeah, yeah, like as if it's, you know, in pro wrestling, like it's predetermined,
but they're very athletic and it's dangerous, blah, blah, blah, but it's like there are a couple of states
that like look over it as if it is a competitive sporting event.
And like, so, yeah, like, there are a lot of, like, I think.
that like Oregon I think is one of them
and there's a couple of other states where it's like
there are things like if a wrestler starts bleeding
you gotta stop the fight like and it's like
yeah that's the best part you know
right and like needing like licenses
or someone's like well this is like a license
to match then like guys this is
the undertaker
okay yeah it's the undertaker
versus the boogey man
yeah
versus this guy they have fangs in
their mouth okay
they're called the brod bro I don't know
What we want to do.
Yeah, yeah.
Joey, such a pleasure having you.
Where can people find you, follow you, see you in person, maybe?
Yeah.
Yeah, thanks so much.
Yeah, this has been so fun.
I definitely mentioned it earlier, but definitely please check out my book.
We've been here the whole time, and it's a sacred guide to all things, Native America.
It's a comedy satire book about all the Native history, culture, and notable people they don't teach you about in school.
Kind of like if The Onion or The Daily Show wrote a book about Indian country, and it's available in bookstores today, like all your favorite bookstores.
as in online shops and all that.
If you want easy places to buy the book,
go to joeycliff.com slash book,
and that'll give you a bunch more info
and links and stuff like that.
And then I'm going on tour starting tomorrow
and going all across the country,
like New York, Oklahoma,
so I can see some of those big studs in person.
Hell yeah.
Yeah, yeah, like Phoenix, you know,
a bunch of shows in L.A., Washington.
Basically, if you live in America,
I'm probably doing an event near you in the next two months.
So if you want more info on that,
I've got a link tree set up.
You go to Joeycliffe.com slash book and scroll to the bottom.
It'll have all that info.
And then you can follow me on Instagram and threads at Joey Cliff with five or six eyes because
the 12-year-old took Joey Clift with one eye, so I just had to deal.
And then Joey Tame it on all the other socials.
And, you know, other than that, I just got to promote the idea of, you know,
if you're a Dracula out there, invite someone to toilet.
Invite somebody to toilet, guys.
Deliberate.
A deliberate toilet.
Let us know if you're a Dracula.
What was Dracula?
really on. Are you a Dracula? Let us know. Let us know what your deal is with inviting people to
go toilet. Yeah. What's the Taco Bell of blood for you? Please let us know that. Yeah. Well,
is there blood that gives you indigestion? We wouldn't know. And also, how do your fangs work?
Are they hollow tubes that suck up the blood? Or are you just biting the vein and then sucking on the
bane? Of course they're hollow, my friend. Look at the Reese's peanut butter commercial.
Stay hollow, my friend.
All right, that's going to do it for this week's weekly zeitgeist.
Please like and review the show if you like the show.
It means the world demiles.
He needs your validation, folks.
I hope you're having a great weekend, and I will talk to you Monday.
