that he died after you guys recorded the trends of Friday. Yeah. I mean, oof yeah i mean he you know he was going through pancreas you know he's fighting pancreatic cancer right uh he's just one of the you know one of the few people who's like i was there watching all of these things come to pass and potentially, you know, the work, the blood that I shed during the civil rights movement gave way to people like Barack Obama. And, you know, like that's what Barack Obama said. He's like, I'm not here without people like John Lewis, you know, creating a path. You know, he was arrested like 45 times or something for his

protests against segregation. And he, you know, his parents were sharecroppers. He really, he's seen it. Like he's, he's at the crossroads of the black experience, like no other person is. And he even lived to briefly see the uprisings um that came after you know may 25th and george floyd's death so yeah it's i i had the honor of meeting him years ago when i was still working in politics um in nevada like in a race and i remember at the time i was ignorant um like i knew that he was important but i didn't quite i didn't fully appreciate what his contribution was. And I remember like getting schooled that day. And I was like, I've ever since I've only had the up and you can only have the utmost respect for this man. Uh, so yeah, I think it's a, it's a, it's a big

loss and I just hope, you know, that we can, we can move forward like in his memory. Uh, and you know, hopefully the divisions that him and dr king and a lot of the other people who are doing a lot of the work during the civil rights movement we can begin to see progress like real progress on that boat you know as we see that marathon it continues yeah the the bridge renaming obviously not the most important thing you know i'm sure the things that he actually fought for uh would be more important but the bridge in selma that he marched over the pettis bridge is named after like a kkk grand wizard or something and a lot of people were talking about how that needs to be renamed immediately after him which makes sense to me yeah i would say yeah if you put if that's

a binary i think it's a pretty easy call on who we're who we're picking on that one right um nikki minaj is trending because she is pregnant with her first uh i believe she announced it oh she and okay it wasn't like some tmZ. She was walking with her hand on her belly, which means, you know like when we used to do blood watch, like the speculation. She's coming out. Now you got me worried. Hold on, let me double check.

He denied that he has a deal with Trump in terms of how Facebook treats the misinformation

his campaign is going to be spreading, has been spreading, is currently spreading, as you listen to this. But obviously, he would deny that. He went surfing in kabuki makeup, which was a weird look for him. Oh, man. That's zinc man whoo it's i i have found myself doing that because i i've recently uh found myself with a newfound respect for the

power and danger the all devouring uh beast that is the sun uh and i have looked in the mirror and been like oh shit i gotta gotta rub this in for another 30 minutes because i look ridiculous uh but he looked that that was awesome he it's the kind like you see how much zinc he put on his face and you're like i feel bad for his kids because if that's like the vibe of the dad you damn sure he's like no put zinc all over your whole fucking body no one's getting burned out here it's really and it's like funny because the main photo is like clearly like a long distance paparazzi photo someone snapped off like on a boat or something and you get the way it's like he's looking down the lens like oh so y'all are seeing this huh yeah and my joker makeup okay cool and also there was an image tweeted by denny's that suggested uh that

they are releasing the zucker burger what does that even mean i think they suspended their advertising on facebook like in line with the account oh so they're trolling they're like okay i think they're trolling him, but I can't find it. I just saw it tweeted by their account. I can't imagine that he is like, like, yo, hook it up. On board.

You know, I love Denny's, you know, I love a Zuckerberg, but yeah, it's... Yeah, if they're trolling him, that's great. If it's just a fake image, whatever. I mean, at least the ad exit is continues. Yeah. If they're trolling them, that's great... No one is informed because of this.

They're only informed of new creative ways to look at their life destructively and find ways to act on it. And Fox News is trending for... There's a new lawsuit that accuses Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity of sexual harassment, which is... Oh, really is maybe the least surprising revelation, but still should be immediately dealt with,

and they should be fired, and their network should be taken off the air. But there's also the accusation. So there were accusations made against Ed Henry that weren't really specified. Uh, but he was immediately fired a few months back. Uh, and now the specifics,

what a, uh, producer, uh, at Fox, uh, has alleged that he raped her. Um,

so in addition to committing other sexual misconduct against her so super horrific yeah yeah man this fox news has been like every day i mean like the episodes on today we were talking about just how people within the company especially the black employees or have had it uh it's just i think this is prevalent anywhere. It's not just limited to Fox. You have people of a certain mindset who believe they can do whatever they want to or just absolutely have no respect

for the agency of women. And this is the kind of shit that's going to happen. Man, what's some... Any cool trends? Oh, I guess the other thing is Tenet has been delayed indefinitely i think for all movie people even seeing a date on that poster was like absurd i was like okay yeah yeah okay uh-huh you think there's you really think there we're going there

but i know they wanted to because it's a huge tentpole prestige release but now it's like yeah what can you do? Can't get together. We have completely botched the containment and testing regimen in this country. Hey, but it's not just us. It's other countries with right-wing dictatorial leadership. That's true.

What's wild is they're getting charged up off of Trump's energy too um all right miles uh that's gonna do it for today uh we are back tomorrow with a whole ass episode of the podcast uh we're also talking to robert evans about uh what he's seeing firsthand on the ground in Portland.
