Starting point is 00:00:02 All America all the time. Sit down, buckle up, and get ready for the Dan Bongino Show. Listen, my friends, I have been in this business for a good amount of time. A good amount of time. Around 2015 we started, I started doing commentary earlier than that. But the show, this Dan Bongino show, originally the Renegade Republican, started, for those of you who remember back in the day, we were just an audio show.
Starting point is 00:00:32 were on Apple and SoundCloud that may have been in. You remember any P-1s out there in the chat who remember the first? The first episode isn't even out there. I was explaining to Justin the other day. Like, well, where's your first episode? The first episode, me and Joe Armacos, God rest his soul, did, got pulled down because back in 2015, it was just me and him. We didn't even know how to do this stuff.
Starting point is 00:00:53 And I forget what happened, but I think we included like a clip of a song in there. And it was some like copyright thing. So we had to take it down. So there's not even a first episode. That's how when we first started, how little we knew about the business. But the show has grown a little bit. Got quite the audience now.
Starting point is 00:01:12 But let me tell you something. There are two people you need to be really cautious of because I'm going to say something to you. You really need to digest and tattoo on your brain. I'm going to hit it in the beginning of the show with a powerful message you need to hear. There are a lot of scumbags in this business. an unusual amount of scumbags.
Starting point is 00:01:36 Having been in the business arena, the investment arena, federal law enforcement, local law enforcement, FBI Secret Service, NYPD, other positions I've been in, this business has an unusual amount of scumbags. And one of the reasons is to get into this business, without having any real world job experience first, which is a lot but not all. Notice I said it has a lot of scumbags. There's a lot of very good people.
Starting point is 00:02:11 But I find that the people who got into this commentary business, you guys feel free to chime in. You know a lot of these people too. If you got into this business after having an actual job first, like a real job, and I'm not talking about you how to be like secretary of state or whatever it is, even if you were in a noble profession, like you were a construction worker, man, that's freaking hard work. You've got to get your ass up and build stuff so people can like live in homes and, you know, work in office buildings. If you've lived in the real world and answered to a foreman,
Starting point is 00:02:48 you were the form, but you had a job. You are probably in the really good people bucket. A lot of people who just got in this business to be famous or whatever, gain some degree of notoriety because they just want to be fedded and loved, you're almost 99% guaranteed to be a scumbag. Guaranteed. Because you'll say anything to be loved. You will never tell people the truth no matter how painful. Because sometimes telling people painful truth means you won't be loved.
Starting point is 00:03:26 It doesn't mean you're doing anything to advance the truth or adding any freaking value to society at all. You are lying on purpose because you don't want to tell people hard truths. And God forbid you lose even a sliver of the audience you're using to make yourself money. They won't do it. This business is populated by people. I'll give you two buckets of them too. You've got the reply guy people and gals who offer nothing of substance at all, but always have a response but never a solution.
Starting point is 00:04:01 They always have a reply but never a solution. And then you got the hidden knowledge people. They know something you don't know. They just never tell you what it is. Be extremely careful who you allocate your time to. I'll show you what I mean in the beginning of the show. And I saw something that's where I do not. I think you know that reply to every single armchair critic
Starting point is 00:04:31 about what we did and didn't do, whether on the show or in my last position, whatever. But there's one this morning and no, I'm not mentioning the name because that's what they want. It's Streisand-Effects stuff and they do it to get my attention.
Starting point is 00:04:43 So I'll reply without giving you the attention you want. There's one, this blog site, that just a total douche nozzle. This guy is like for years. Watches the Hannity interviews like, here's what I would have done. I would have fired everyone on day one. Really? You would have done that?
Starting point is 00:05:01 Do you know how the government works and how HR rules? Because you know what happens? And these people sue and get their jobs back. Did you know that? You knew who they were on day one? Interesting. Why didn't you tell us? If you knew, I'm sorry, you wrote a blog post about it.
Starting point is 00:05:13 Smart ass. Dickhead, you seem to know so much. Why didn't you tell us? You could have just found us somehow. I said, hey, here, but you didn't know, did you? Those are the reply guys in their little tree houses. They know who I'm talking about. Nothing ever of substance at all.
Starting point is 00:05:31 Just stupid commentary back for clicks. I'm telling you, be very careful who you allocate your time to. Hiding behind anonymous accounts and stuff. It's fine. I have no issue with you doing it. You're under no obligation. Certainly, I'm a free speech guy. But let's not pretend like you're somehow like being super brave about it.
Starting point is 00:05:51 You're not. You're just not willing to do anything. You just want to reply to everyone else. I'll get into what I mean in the beginning of the show today. The show starts some trouble today. Good. That is, that's what I want. Like I said, I'm not here to tell everybody what they want to hear.
Starting point is 00:06:08 I'm here to deliver hard truths. And if that's for you, it's for you. If it's not, it's not. That's okay. I don't plan on doing this show forever. I've already been through scares with expiration dates and no crisis with my health and everything. I'm not interested in pleasing everyone.

Shopbeam.com slash Bongino. Use code Bonjino. All right, fellas, let's get this started. So again, I addressed the reply guys and others. And one of the reasons you see this in this space, you guys and ladies out there, you work for a living, you add value, plumbers, electricians, police officers, military folks, you add value. I've said often, I'm in this space. It's my business. I'm proud. I'm happy to back. I was happy to serve for the year and come back here. I'm honored to be on the air. However, you guys are where it's at. You are. It's not like a faux celebration of what. It's a real
Starting point is 00:09:02 celebration of what you do. Everything we do from farmers to our military folks enables us to live in this prosperous society. We're wealthy and prosperous because we have material things. Material things make you wealthy. You can talk about emotional well-being and psychological well-being. That's all important, too. But the hard reality is the United States is rich because we have stuff. You all out there built and created if you work for a living. Problem is this space is people like to talk and they talk a lot about other people and there's a lot of envy in this space and people just don't like when other people succeed. But to allow that envy to overtake you and to imply at some point that someone like Erica Kirk who lost her husband to an assassination caught on video with a world
Starting point is 00:09:54 watched to imply that Erica was somehow involved in this with some hidden knowledge you never actually disclosed. Folks, I can't, I can't amount. I honestly don't know what to say. I don't. It's like I went through a kind of a personal tragedy not that long ago. And there are times I don't have the words really means I just don't have the word. really means I just don't have the words.
Starting point is 00:10:27 I don't know why you would do something like this. It can't just be envy. It can't just be, I'm a bad person. There's got it, there's something there. I just don't understand. Hat tip milk bar TV for this. This is just a compilation of the Candace Owen show and repeated implications that somehow
Starting point is 00:10:53 this lovely, beautiful human being, Erica, who's always been there for me and a number of people in the movement just like Charlie was, is somehow involved in the murder of her husband. Ladies and gentlemen, I got to tell you, I candidly, I don't have the words, man. I just don't want to understand this. But I just want to show you before I get to the response that we're not making this up. This is real. Check this out. But I'm starting to think that the assassination of Charlie Kirk was something akin to a regicide, right? The assassination of a king to install a new ruler who the king would have never approved of. Anyways, back at headquarters, I am told it's business as usual. And it's kind of giving me like, I don't know, LBJ when it gets sworn in in that famous picture.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Unfortunately, sworn in. Unfortunately, of course, he's sad in this photo. Oh, gosh, he's obviously not wanting to be the President of the United States. JFK was shot and killed. And now LBJ has to step up unfortunately. But I got to be honest, I wasn't there. I don't think LBJ was actually that upset. I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Vibes. The vibes just aren't viving for me in that picture, knowing as I do and as Charlie did believe that LBJ was involved, which then implicates the feds as having been involved, which then implicates the Dallas police station as being involved. I believe Israel was obviously involved that they were the ones that wanted him dead. When Ben came out swinging, I was going,
Starting point is 00:12:26 oh, something's very wrong here. Basically, Erica here is pulling the LBJ. And what I mean by that is as soon as LBJ got into office after JFK's assassination, he reversed course on every single one of JFK's policies. JFK's enemies seemingly became LBJ's friends. Erica appears to be doing that to me. I don't know. I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:12:48 I love doing my show, and it's a talk show. You're supposed to talk. I just, I don't know, man. I see you all have a lot of comments on the chat on this, too. I was glad to see Erica, who's a real warrior, come out yesterday, and despite ongoing not comprehensible, I can't comprehend the grief. I can't. what she's going through, come out yesterday with a very powerful response.
Starting point is 00:13:23 And it's about a minute, but I want you to listen to every word of this. I feel an obligation to put this out there to help her correct this sick, deranged, demonic record. Listen to this. In this culture we're living in, absorbs disagreement as a form of personal betrayal. It turns having an opposing viewpoint into a moral crime worthy of And here's what I've realized through all of this, truly, having lived through quite literal hell these past seven months, if you strip someone of their humanity long enough, you will arrive at the chilling conclusion that they don't deserve to exist at all. Every morning I wake up to a new headline lying about me. I have
Starting point is 00:14:15 comedians dressing up in white face I have people saying I'm not fit to be CEO and I have Candice Owens claiming I murdered my husband and the list goes on and on and on there is a serious epidemic
Starting point is 00:14:38 of dehumanization plaguing this country guys ladies we're in a really really dark spot because you have have a thought in your head and a platform. And that platform for Candace and others is substantial. Don't fake the funk on this and be like, oh, well, she's irrelevant.
Starting point is 00:15:05 No, no, she's not. I was listening to some commentary by Jeremy Boring the other day, formerly, I don't think he's with the Daily Wire anymore, but he was on a show and he gave an accurate assessment. If you're telling yourself like, oh, well, her audience is shrinking. Her audience, folks, I'm in this space. I'm an investor in this space. I watch these numbers because it's in both a personal interest of mine for free speech and a professional interest,
Starting point is 00:15:32 because this is where I've invested my life's assets in free speech and spreading ideas and platforms to do so. Don't kid yourself like, oh, she has a small audience. She doesn't. Her audience is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, on the political commentary side. That is not true that there's no audience there. And it's shrinking from whatever, like Scott. high to, you know, high, which is still really high. I know that because I see clowns and Dumeers that were Justin and I were laughing about
Starting point is 00:16:04 it this morning. He'd do that with our show. The Dumers and the Jew haters are like, oh, my gosh, I can't believe it's Spotify. Our video's not on Spotify. We're exclusive to rumble, you dipshits. It doesn't matter. Again, don't over explain. Every time we put out a podcast chart, hey, thanks for the support.
Starting point is 00:16:21 You got some moron. Well, go with another chart. Then we go at another chart. They do this to me. Don't do that. That's not true with them. Some of these people do have big audiences. People I sincerely disagree with.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Hell, I've invested my money in giving people I disagree with an open platform to speak. But don't kid yourself. This is a significant size tumor in the American body politic. And the best thing you can do is go out there and take it on like Erica bravely did yesterday. You can't ignore it. We have never run from it. We have never run from difficult questions. Some of these people were friends of mine.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Some, a couple of them are still friends, and I just don't agree. Folks speak out. Let me tell you, when I was in high school, we had Brother Leo since past. I went to a Catholic school. It was run by the Maris brothers. And Brother Leo was the guidance counselor, and everybody loved Brother Leo. If you went to Archbishop Malloy, you remember Brother Leo. He was just an amazing guy.
Starting point is 00:17:26 I, and he would have these groups, and we was in all-boys school back then, but, you know, we'd go and they had these groups, and you could just go and chat and you'd talk, and he'd say, hey, Dan, you know, real men walk alone. And that applies to you too. Sometimes in a group of people, you're just going to have to walk along, even if they're throwing, you know, rotten tomatoes at you and screaming, there's the cholera, all right? Please do what you can to speak out about this stuff. It's not healthy, man.
Starting point is 00:17:57 It's going to destroy us. All right, I've got a lot to get to you today as well. Absolutely enormous ruling yesterday out of the Supreme Court. A bigger ruling than I think you know. It's a complicated ruling. I'm just going to kind of get to the high-level stuff. It was about gerrymandering, redistricting, race. It was all kind of blended in.
Starting point is 00:18:18 However, you know what? Can I start with the demographic destiny one instead? I need to explain this to you in terms of the freak out. Why did the Democrats freak out yesterday? Supreme Court ruled that a racially gerrymandered map in Louisiana was not going to work. The left is freaking out on this because, number one, they don't have a message that resonates with people en masse. They just don't. They know the only way they can win elections is by illegal immigration, moving people into the country, legally or illegally, they don't really care.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Whatever's easier for them, it doesn't matter. Getting those people on government benefits, paying them off, promising them future benefits in exchange for their votes. That's it. Does everybody understand? I can't move forward. They'll freak out over yesterday. It will not make sense unless you understand this first. When the Democrats talk about things like replacement theory and demographic destiny,
Starting point is 00:19:10 because that's their thing, I'm going to show you in a minute with a clip of Democrats talking about this. They understand their positions are grossly unpopular. High taxes, government-run health care, you know, public school, monologna. monopolies. It's hated by the public. So they know if they don't bring people into the country illegally, gerrymandered the districts for power in Congress, gerrymandered the districts for power in the electoral college as well as they manipulate the census and get illegals counted. They know they have no chance of winning. I've played this a couple times, but you need a refresher every quarter. Here is a quick minute or so on the Democrats talking about exactly this. Get illegals into the country,
Starting point is 00:19:52 get them on government benefits, get them to vote Democrat. It's the only way they can win. They call it demographic destiny or replacement theory because it's their theory. Listen to them in her own words. Check this out. It seems harder and harder to ignore that the echoes of replacement theory and other racially motivated views are increasingly coming out into the open. African communities, Asian communities, Hispanic communities, and the wave still continues. It's not going to stop.
Starting point is 00:20:21 nor should we want it to stop. In a few years, we're going to be a majority brown country. White people will not be the majority in the country anymore. In 24, everyone is going to be a minority. Folks like me who are Caucasian of European descent, for the first time in 2017, will be in an absolute minority in the United States of America. Absolute minority.
Starting point is 00:20:45 As the demographics change, as white people become the minority in the country, which is coming. Demographics is destiny. Demographics is destiny. Demographics is destiny, right? The country is changing. An unrelenting stream of immigration. Non-stop.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Do you see? There's the article, Michelle Goldberg, New York Times. We can replace them. This is their thing. Replacement theory, demographic destiny, which they're euphemisms for each other. That's what they're talking about. Now does it make sense why you see?
Starting point is 00:21:20 saw this freak out on CNN yesterday over the Supreme Court ruling, if they cannot flush people into the country and racially gerrymander them into oddly shaped districts to pull demographic, excuse me, Democrat congressional seats out of Republican states that ordinarily wouldn't exist if you were to keep even contiguous neighborhood lines, they have no shot. They know that. They openly talk about it all the time. You just watch the clip. Now you're going to see the freak out on CNN yesterday when they realize that they can no longer racially gerrymandered districts to use race as an excuse to enact and force upon us political power and representation, not representative of the state. Check this out.
Starting point is 00:22:04 Seeds could be at risk all throughout the south. The question will be the timing. Is this a 2028 play? Is this a 2026 play? There are some primaries here coming up not until later in the cycle, August 6th. There's one in Tennessee. That's Steve Cohen seed. That's a majority. minority district that's in August 6th, one the one Democratic seat there, the Jim Clyburn seat in South Carolina. That is the one, the Democratic seat in South Carolina. That's a June 9th primary. Jamie, this shows you the ramifications a long term for this ruling. Absolutely. Just think about that number, 19 seats in play. And let's look at this politically. Laura, you talked about confusion going into this race.
Starting point is 00:22:48 We're worried about voter suppression. Apart from the long-term impact, we are going to see people take advantage of that confusion. There is going to be, you know, these midterms are so high stakes that anybody who thinks they can take advantage, you know, on the state level of this decision, there is going to be a scramble to see if they can,
Starting point is 00:23:16 because each side thinks this is an existential midterm with the House, especially. So here's what liberals were doing. You ready? Someone just put in, this is the center of Raven of Ragnar or some conservative studies. That was Rush Limbaugh's thing. However, I will consider that a compliment. This is an advanced conservative course in how the Democrats plan to get, maintain, and hold power forever.
Starting point is 00:23:41 What they were doing is they were playing both sides of this coin the Democrats with racial gerrymandering. They were saying when they couldn't manipulate the numbers and spread out what they felt were black Democrat votes enough. Because remember, if Democrats were to, if black Republicans were in huge numbers, this should be a totally different argument. Thank you, Reverend of Ragnon. What they were doing is they would pack black Democrats into one district to get a Democrat seat. But then when they wanted to, when they felt like they had enough of an overreaching, of votes. They would spread black Democrat voters around and minority voters in general around into other districts as well to use them as pawns to flip other seats as well. And then they would sue from both
Starting point is 00:24:32 sides. So the Supreme Court just basically came out and said one simple thing. You're going to have to show that if these states are gerrymandering, they're doing it explicitly to discriminate against black voters, which would be wrong. If you can't show that, the map's no good. That's what happened. End the story. Of course, the Democrats freaked out because now they know they're in a world of trouble. Look at some of these open source zone tweets here. Number one, here's what the South, which looks largely Republican, because you see people who are interested in freedom and liberty and not Mamdami like communism down in the South. You know, here's a potential map. The current map is 65 Republicans, 24 Democrats. The potential map is 77 Republicans and 12 Democrats. This is what the map
Starting point is 00:25:19 would look like without racially discriminatory districts set up by Democrats. This is why they're freaking out. They understand their ideas are shit. Their ideas are such shit that the entire, you know, southeast of the United States has wholly rejected Mamdami Democrat, Sanders, Democrat, Biden-Obama Democrat Party politics. It's not our fault. You guys suck. Here's another tweet by Open Source Zone. What looks to happen to fly?
Starting point is 00:25:48 That's why I tell the Dumer's like, don't freak out about the maps and the midterms. Just go out and vote and pull 10 people with you. Florida lawmakers yesterday approved a Florida redistricting map. Final vote, 83, yes, 28. No, here's what the map's going to look like before and after in Florida. There's the after. And then you see a prior.
Starting point is 00:26:09 there was it before, which had other, they're going to lose potentially four seats. Stop with the doom and gloom. It's exhausting. Everybody that's guys, it's like this chicken little phenomenon. Folks, so what are they doing here? The Democrats understand that they were using, they were basically using minority voters for their own political gain. If you are a minority voter listening to my show, they've basically implied it, if not explicitly said it. that as long as you vote Democrat, they will carve up the state, break up your neighborhoods,
Starting point is 00:26:42 they don't care. The second you start voting Republican, they'll sue in the other direction. They were just using you. I'll prove it to you in a second because they want this, they need people to flood into the country and to pack them in the districts that'll vote Democrat. I'm going to show you just quick another case at the Supreme Court now, totally related to this demographic destiny thing. Biden, Obama, and others were using this TPS, temporary protected status, get illegals into the country, and then give them TPS, temporary protected status, and they're here in perpetuity. Here's the problem with TPS, as you can see in the Wall Street Journal article here.
Starting point is 00:27:18 The TPS law says, quote, there is no judicial review of any determination of the secretary with respect to TPS designation. In other words, the courts have nothing to do with it. It's in the law. Read it right there. So how is this case in the Supreme Court right now if there's, quote, no judicial review? The answer, the same trick, the Democrats always pull. The race card.
Starting point is 00:27:41 Here is Justice Sotomayor, not very bright again, making a case that should not even be in the court because there's no judicial review to TPS. Making it what? About racist Donald Trump again? Because they don't have anything else. They're just using you. To black voters out there, they're just using you. Some of these TPS folks that they've brought in may be, in fact, taking some of your jobs
Starting point is 00:28:06 and some of the services in your name, but they don't care. Listen to this. Check this out. Now, we have a president saying at one point that Haiti is a, quote, filthy, dirty and disgusting s-ho country. I'm quoting him. And where he complained that the United States takes people from such countries instead of people from Norway, Sweden, or Denmark, where he declared illegal, where, he declared illegal immigrants, which he associated with TPS as poisoning the blood of America. I don't see how that one statement is not a prime example of the Arlington example at work
Starting point is 00:28:53 and showing that a discriminatory purpose may have played a part in this decision. It's not even supposed to be in the courts. Listen to me. Black, Hispanic. voters, any minority group out there. The Democrats are using you the second you are not useful for them, they will toss you out of the ring like it's a royal rumble. I mean, Asian voters, haven't you learned from this? The discrimination against Asian college applicants is ridiculous. And then when that happens, they insult Asian voters and Jewish voters who are successful
Starting point is 00:29:30 and they call them white adjacent. They just make this stuff up. They are using race in multiple different directions to get you to believe open borders and giving them power to give people money who don't even belong in the country legally somehow to your benefit. Don't be a sucker. There's a reason they use this race argument. It's work for them in the past.
Starting point is 00:29:54 I'll show you another great Scott Jennings clip coming up in a second on CNN. Where you see this 30-second debate, this guy on CNN, the panel, gets completely wrecked trying to make a race argument that's totally not. and then just moves on. Starting point is 00:31:43 Here's Scott Jennings on CNN, where, of course, they're trying to make a racial argument out of this. There is a racial argument in this. I just told you what it is. Democrats are using minority voters to gain political power and we'll throw them right out of the ring if they were to start voting Republican. Then they would make the exact opposite argument.
Starting point is 00:32:00 Here's Scott Jennings making one of the best arguments I've seen in a long time. They're like, well, you know, we don't have any black governors in a Republican part. Really, did you miss what just happened in Virginia where we actually nominated one and you guys voted against her? It's kind of weird. I thought it was a racial argument. Check this out.
Starting point is 00:32:15 It is an African-American Republican governor since reconstruction. I mean, you know, there's a, unfortunately imbalancing the two parties. Republicans tried to elect one in Virginia. Okay. And then you got a white Democrat who gerrymandered the state. We're going to end this here. Everything is crumbling, clearly, at this table. I thought it was a racial argument.
Starting point is 00:32:40 The Republican nominee was Winston Sears, who happens to be black. Last time I checked, and she's female. Last time I checked, too. She actually knows what a male and a female are. And Democrats voted for a white woman who then gerrymandered the state and spread out what they would call black voting power because they needed the black vote, which they hope and pray will vote Democrat in lockstep. The second black voters vote in the other direction,
Starting point is 00:33:05 Dale jerrymand did the state completely different. They're only using you for Democrat power. They're not using you for your own power. If you are black and you are a conservative Republican, I hope you understand. They are doing everything they can to silence, shut you up and diminish you. This isn't about race to them.
Starting point is 00:33:23 It's about power. They don't care that you're black. They care that you're black and vote Democrat. That is not the same thing. These people don't even know what they're talking about. They're so freaking embarrassing. Do you have that No Kings Rally? What's her name?
Starting point is 00:33:38 Christy Lee. This is really good. I love these men on the street interviews. I think my role in the space haven't been here a little bit is to promote other creators out there and give them a shot. Because it's not about me. It's about keeping this going for a while. This is Christy Lee, the man on the street interview. I like Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:33:55 What's her name? Caitlin Bennett, too. Yeah, she's really great too. Here she has one of these No Kings Rallies. They're so stupid. These people don't even know what they're protesting against. Check this one out. What do you make of the fact that he was democratically elected, even won the popular vote?
Starting point is 00:34:12 How does that make him a king? It doesn't make him a king. It makes him a president, not a king. Well, this is called no kings. So what does that mean to you? It means we've got to get rid of him. He's not a king. It's a democratic process, and we've gone that route with him.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Now, if he's acted like a king, Can you give me a specific example? Specific example? Well, there's a million of them all put together. There's no one example. It's exactly. One or two? There's more than one or two.
Starting point is 00:34:47 No, can you give me one or two examples? Not up the top of my head. Folks, this is an epidemic on the left. Hat tip at Christy Lee TV. The epidemic is of ignorance and stupidity. Listen to me. Please, I can't emphasize this enough because I'm going to show you a political ad too
Starting point is 00:35:04 and how to win and how to tactically take back the message. One of the things I've been telling you for a long time, you want to take back a political movement, you want to take back and rescue your country from the ideologues of the left. You have to paint contrast. You have to show people imagery.
Starting point is 00:35:18 You have to paint, you have to put a diamond on a black background, makes it look shinier. You have to paint a contrast. These people will do this. We will do that. I want to show you the evidence that these Democrats,
Starting point is 00:35:30 whenever you do these men on the street, they never know what they're talking about. Black voters you are being used. The second you were to vote in any substantial number and for the Republican Party, they will gerrymandered districts to shut you out. They will start talking about we can't have black majority districts. Now they'll make the exact opposite argument.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Political, tactical weaponry class 101, less than 476. I think that's right. I've repeatedly said to you, one of the best things you can do in politics is create a contrast, a foil effect. The human mind gets tons of stimuli through the eyes, through the ears, through your nose. It processes it into a story.
Starting point is 00:36:17 It needs a story. Ladies and gentlemen, every story needs a good guy and a bad guy. Please remember this. You ever see a few good men? Most of you have. Amazing movie. Although I think Colonel Jessup gets a bad rep in that movie, don't you?
Starting point is 00:36:35 few good men. That's for another day. There's a line in the movie, though, I cannot encourage you enough to tattoo on your brain. Courrooms are not about the law. They're about placing blame. People need someone to blame. They tell themselves stories. They need a good guy and a bad guy. I don't know Spencer Pratt. Well, he's running for mayor of Los Angeles. I don't know at all, actually. And I don't know what his internal politics are. I just know he's been through a lot with the fires in Los Angeles. He's running for mayor and he's running an insurgent campaign. And this, I'm going to tell you something, is one of the top five most effective political ads I think I've ever seen. Why? Because it gives you a good guy and a bad guy in 30 seconds and the imagery
Starting point is 00:37:26 paints a contrast. Watch what I'm talking about. Take a lesson. This is an amazing political ad. This is where Mayor Vass lives. You notice something? Or here where Nithia Rahman's $3 million mansion sits. They don't have to live in the mess they've created where you live. This is where I live. They let my home burn down. I know what the consequences of failed leadership are.
Starting point is 00:37:52 That's why I'm running for mayor, for my sons and the rest of us, Angelinos, that want to stop these corrupt politicians from destroying our city. We are going to get the golden age of Los Angeles back. That's one of the best political ads I've ever seen. Folks, I don't know the guy. I remember him from the reality show. I'm happy he's right. It takes a lot of balls to put your name on a ballot.
Starting point is 00:38:16 Good for you. That is one of the single most political effective political ads you'll ever see. Contrast, the imagery of the million dollar mansion, the drone footage, giving the wide view of this guy in his house burned down. He's living in a trailer on his front lawn. I know what that's like. I lived on a trailer in the front lawn in Wantown. You lived in a trailer in Long Island?
Starting point is 00:38:36 Yes. Why did you live in a trailer? Because the freaking house burned down. I was living with my Uncle Lou and Aunt Anna at the time. And the house burned down. Luckily, nobody died except for the poor dog who's caught in a house. The house burned to the ground. I lived there.
Starting point is 00:38:53 I don't have anything prior to my 18th birthday. Nothing. The only things I have my brother had, he lived in a. separate place. He had my old football helmet. I think that's on a pair of Doc Martins. That's all I have left. Everything I had, photos, pictures, books, sports stuff, burn. I lived on the front lawn in a trailer. Contrast. We got to learn how to win again. You need to tell people a story. They need to know who to blame. And who's to blame in liberal states? Liberals, and we don't do this enough. All you have to do is show people.
Starting point is 00:39:35 people. Here is one of the best unintentional political ads. The guys are like, what's he told you? There's no more ads in the show. No, there are. This is an ad for moving companies in Seattle. You know, has to know where I'm going with this. I want to confuse you too much. Okay, good. This is one of the best ads for U-Haul in Seattle in the state of Washington to move out of the state because of a millionaire tax they're going to win that. I promise you, it's just going to bankrupt the state as millionaires who are already. taxed start to leave and go take their investments in hard work elsewhere. I want you to watch the, I believe, 43-year-old mayor of Seattle, who I'm not sure has ever had a real job going back to
Starting point is 00:40:16 the beginning of the show. These people have never had a real job and never had to answer to a foreman, clean a toilet bowl, unclog a pipe, install an electric panel. They think it's really funny that people who are successful and wealthy leave their state. She's actually laughing. This is the mayor of Seattle. I'll check this out. I think the claims that millionaires are going to leave our state are like super overblown. And if, you know, the ones that leave, like, bye. So. Bye.
Starting point is 00:40:49 That's Mayor Katie Wilson. You're a moron. You are really one of the dumbest people in record. By the way, you think they're overblown? Listen, I don't want these liberals move into Florida either. I don't even care if you got your money. Please don't come down here. I'm just telling you, like, this is actually happening.
Starting point is 00:41:03 Here's an article in the hill, not some right-wing newspaper, okay? Starbucks tycoon Howard Shultz joins the billionaire Blue State Exus. Liz Peek, who's really good, wrote this piece. What state did he leave, fellas, you guys know? Yeah, Washington. Isn't the first Starbucks in Seattle on Pikes over there? Now, the almost comical thing about these idiots like Katie Wilson and others, you know, I'm not sure's ever had a real job in her life,
Starting point is 00:41:32 is that the thing about billionaires and millionaires there are not a lot of them. So when they leave and that half of 1% of people paying the overwhelming majority of your tax load and by the way, financing a bunch of jobs and investment leave, it's gone. You lose a geometrically larger amount of your tax base. It's not a simple arithmetic linear line.
Starting point is 00:41:57 It's a geometric exponential one. But she thinks it's hilarious. She thinks it's really funny. Folks, let me take another break here. And then I'm going to get back to the nothing is happening file. Because yesterday was a big day. A lot happened. I'm really happy to report on some of this news.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Things you should smile about. Is it the end? Should we be popping the champagne bottles? No. That's not how any of this works. No one's asking for a celebration. I'm just telling you things are happening. A lot of things are happening.
Starting point is 00:42:33 and you should know about it. And there's some really good stuff that happened yesterday. There's one case, I'm going to tell you something. I've been dying to talk about for a while. How I haven't, I've missed it until now. I'm really almost disappointed myself. But I am going to chat about it because when we put it out there, I knew there was going to be a counter narrative that went out

So, ladies and gentlemen, we have another in a long line of files from the nothing is happening file for you today, Justin.
Starting point is 00:44:24 So you know we do not accept politically motivated violence in this country. I am very happy to report yesterday that a really wonderful person I know. had her on the show, an election night, Turning Point USA reporter, Savannah Hernandez. I don't know if you remember, but she was assaulted on camera while doing good, solid, independent journalism work. Fox reported yesterday some action on this. Again, there were some people tell you nothing was going to happen because that's all they do, and it happens, and then they move on. You get the point.
Starting point is 00:44:59 Here's a report on that yesterday. Check this out. Two people have been indicted on federal charges in connection to the attack on a turning point USA reporter. You know that happened earlier this month. We covered it when it happened. Savannah Hernandez, here's that video. It's unbelievable. Was covering an immigration and customs enforcement or ICE protest in Minneapolis.
Starting point is 00:45:19 Just this month. When protesters swarmed her, screamed obscenities, blew horns in front of her face, and at one point, Hernandez tried to escape. And a protester, a grown man, big guy, had his family with him. Pushed her to the ground. She said she was bruised on her back. And I mean, she was hurt. Her glasses were broken.
Starting point is 00:45:41 The names of the two suspects indicted have not yet been released, but we expect the indictment to be unsealed later today. I'm just telling you, folks, this is not going to go down this way with this DOJ and FBI. You're just not going to go to rallies and, like, push people and beat the shit out of them and think like everyone's just going to look the other way. That's just not the way any of this is going to go down. Here's another case. I got to make this quick because I've got to get to Lucky Trump again.
Starting point is 00:46:09 Lucky Trump does it again. Guys, this is the luckiest man on planet Earth. I don't have any gambling on the schedule in the coming months. However, when I do, I am placing a phone call to President Trump, and I'm just going to ask him to stand over my shoulder and just watch because he's the luckiest man on Earth. There he. I don't play that. Wow, look at that.
Starting point is 00:46:28 Is he playing the slots you think? Check that out. He doesn't drink. I'm not sure he gambles either. He's actually a very work-oriented guy. I'll gamble once in a while. I'll have a couple of drinks on the weekend maybe. However, I want this guy next to me.
Starting point is 00:46:40 Before I get to that, I have been really itching to talk about this case for a long time. Did you guys see the press reports months ago when I was back in the prior job? There was the case about the allegations of gambling fraud, manipulation on the market involving professional sports players. There was an update yesterday on that case. I'm going to play a quick clip. And I just want to tell you why this is into nothing is happening file. Well, why is that in the nothing's happening file? I'll get to me in a second.
Starting point is 00:47:10 It'll make a world of sense. Because we were told, you know what? Just play the clip. And I'll explain any of the side. Check this out. Yesterday, Jones admitted in court that he exploited his fame and access to profit from sports betting and rigged poker games, saying in part this. I would like to sincerely apologize to the court, my family, my peers,
Starting point is 00:47:28 and also the National Basketball Association, Jones, among several prominent players, He's making a lot of money, too. That had to been arrested. He's the first, however, again, the plead guilty. The others have not. His sentencing set for January 6th of next year. We'll watch how that develops.
Starting point is 00:47:45 So this isn't the nothing is happening file because one of the things we were told by a small, this is really just not doomers. This was just like kind of liberal media people. They were like, well, the FBI's focus on violent crime and cleaning up the streets is taking away assets from mob cases. What does it have to do with this? Ladies and gentlemen, there was a really significant La Cosa Nostra mob connection to this case.
Starting point is 00:48:10 I encourage you to look it up. Everybody's innocent still proving guilty. Case is still working its way through court. That's the way it's supposed to work. However, when this happened, I remember getting the briefing on this case. Folks, the mob angle was what really mattered to me. However, listen, media is the media. Obviously, people care about professional sports.
Starting point is 00:48:31 They know a lot of these people. That took all the steam out of that. So it was just ironic. Everybody's like, oh, man, the FBI's not doing mob cases anymore. Then you do a mob case, and then no one covers it. They cover these professional sports angle instead,
Starting point is 00:48:43 which I remember telling cash, watch, no one's even going to mention a mob angle. Guaranteed. Because even though we mentioned it repeatedly in the press conference, the chagrin of some people who were like, why are you talking about the mob angle so much? So that wasn't happening until it happened and they ignored that.
Starting point is 00:49:00 Another thing I was told isn't happening is I was told that because we were focusing on violent crime, we weren't doing any white collar crime anymore. Well, that's amazing because we've had a number of significant busts, including one out of FBI San Diego yesterday, an amazing bust here working with the Dubai Police Department and the Chinese MPS there. Hundreds of arrests and nine scam centers believed to be using crypto investment fraud schemes, targeting Americans who suffered millions of dollars in losses. I was told that wasn't happening either, fellas. Peers, that's happening too.
Starting point is 00:49:33 Another thing I was told wasn't happening is we got a lot of calls at the time from people who were being swatted. And I had, you know, said on my FBI account at the time that we were working on it. Well, now you see one of those cases working its way through the system through the excellent Judge Janine Piro in Washington, D.C. Thomas Zabo of Romania was sentenced today to 48 months in prison for leading an online swatting ring that targeted more than 75 public officials, institutions and multiple journalists in a nationwide threat spree. This was one of those things, again, where people were calling me for information I could not give up. I couldn't.
Starting point is 00:50:09 I couldn't tell you what we were doing at the time. But again, I assured you it was happening. And now you see that the nothing is happening is happening too. They're running out of things to say aren't happening. Folks, lucky Trump is added again. More kick-ass job numbers as the economy plows ahead, despite Iran, despite global. instability despite the CCP constantly on edge with us, threats to jump the straight. The global economy is not doing nearly as well as the U.S. economy, thanks to this president's
Starting point is 00:50:42 leadership, don't take my word for it. I'm going to play for you, CNBC. CNBC's no big fan of President Trump. I'm going to play this first clip. Lucky Trump strikes again. Check out this clip first, and then I'll play one about the jobless numbers coming up next. Check this out. Personal income and spending numbers. income up six-tenths, double expectations,
Starting point is 00:51:04 and that would be the best level since the summer of 25, July, to be specific. If we look at the spending side, equal to expectations, up nine-tenths, pretty robust. Lucky Trump strikes again. Look at this guy. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Slot machine hits every freaking time. It's almost like it's not luck. It's almost like the system's been set for success.
Starting point is 00:51:30 and the system is President Trump's. Wow, that sounds amazing. Real income, GDP growth. Sounds really good. What about jobless claims? Wow, look, we have a CNBC clip about that, too. It's about 20 seconds. Check this out. Lucky Trump strikes again. Initial jobless claims hitting the wires at 189,000. 189,000. Wow. That is truly incredible. We're looking at levels. truly that we probably haven't seen since the late 60s. This is very, very incredible.
Starting point is 00:52:06 And continuing claims, 1,785,000. That would be the least going back to August of the summer of 24, actually, April of 24. Guys, I'm really sensitive about overdoing segments. I am. And I even say, could I not say this to this? I give you some inside baseball. Because this isn't like a cable news show, we can do whatever we want here. You know, we don't have a lot of those restrictions and things.
Starting point is 00:52:43 I, a segment and a bit that's funny, is not funny if you do it five days a week. It's just not. Joe, God rest his soul, was very sensitive about the Muttly thing. He was because it wasn't funny if we did it every day. I'm really hesitant to do Lucky Trump every day. However, I don't know what else to do because every day is a new bit of good news. I'm not telling you every piece of information is fantastic, great news.
Starting point is 00:53:12 I'm just telling you there's so much really amazing news. It's hard. I have to like control myself with the Lucky Trump thing because I really don't want to overdo it because that it's just not funny anymore. So I'm going to have to put Lucky Trump maybe on hold for a day or two. I won't be here tomorrow. I have an event. I can't get out of.
Starting point is 00:53:30 And I'm sorry. I won't be. I'll be back on Monday. However, maybe tomorrow's the break. We may be back to Lucky Trump again. I just like it too much. There he is. I said, do me one favor.
Starting point is 00:53:41 Have him pop out of different corners all the time. So it looks delicious like that. Oh, man. If you're in the podcast space and you're new, don't ever overdue bits. I'm telling you, people like are at enough rain. It stops being funny. Like that.
Starting point is 00:54:00 Now they're messing with me and you. All right, back to serious time. So I said the beginning of the show, you know, be very careful. who you trust with your time. Where you choose to allocate your time, allocate your time, excuse me. You have a limited amount of time on planet Earth.
Starting point is 00:54:15 Be very sensitive with it. I am so deeply honored. I'm what, 63,500 people here now. I am so honored you guys choose to spend time with us every day. I will never take you for granted. I mean it. I'm just telling you, like, if you're spending your time being lied to every day by nonsense
Starting point is 00:54:31 and by like datapoint people with hidden knowledge who never actually tell you what that knowledge is, be very careful. There is a brewing new conspiracy theory. I don't know what else to call it. I actually hate that term because the left used to use it against us. But I don't know any other way to it. It's a theoretical conspiracy that doesn't exist
Starting point is 00:54:51 that's not backed up by any data. And there's hidden knowledge claim to prove the theory that never gets proven. So I don't know any other way to describe it. Any good euphemism for it. There's a new conspiracy theory out there that the president unbelievably staged a, assassination attempt on his life. Of course, the theories out there that Butler was staged as well.
Starting point is 00:55:14 I mean, we had people shot. Corey comparator dead. President Trump was shot in the ear. I mean, it's just the stupidity level is really stunning. And I just caution you, like, if you're giving your time to people promoting this stuff, my question to you is, why? Why? I'm serious.
Starting point is 00:55:32 Do you like being wide to? I mean, you are being wide to. You like it? You must like it because you're there voluntarily. No one's forcing you to watch it. Well, the staged conspiracy theory about the weekend assassination attempt on President Trump and others, by the way, because this manifesto with the suspect mentions, you know, mentions Trump like officials as well. Some new imagery emerged yesterday.
Starting point is 00:56:00 It's quite the setup. I don't know. He's like President Trump in the background, like dressing this guy up as he was getting ready to do what he claimed he was going to do in the manifesto. here's some new images out of the Justice Department. Check this video out. The news has now obtained the 20-page memo, which is a motion from the DOJ of what they will argue in tomorrow's detention hearing why Cole Allen should remain behind bars until trial. In this photo here, you see Dana. The memo says that in the moments before Cole Allen departed his hotel room, he's there in the hotel room, about to go down and storm the magnetometers at the White House Correspondence dinner. You can see the number of items that they lay out.
Starting point is 00:56:42 Of course, there is a sheath, a shoulder holster, the sheath knife you see in there. And in the shot over there on the right side of your screen, number four appears to be wire cutters and pliers, planning perhaps for some sort of escape. Now in this memo, the reasons for the detention, they say that the defendant's actions were premeditated, violent, and, quote, calculated to cause death. and they lay out a timeline. This photo taken shortly after 8 p.m. Then they say shortly after 8.30 p.m.
Starting point is 00:57:15 The assailant charged with a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun, a 38-caliber pistol, multiple knives, and daggers, and a significant amount of ammunition for reloading all of those items, also detailed in photographs as matters of evidence. Guys, ladies, I'm going to ask you a simple question. If you, for some reason, are here on my show and you really believe this stuff, that the president's been staging multiple assassination attempts against himself, the base level of stupidity there is kind of hard for me to digest. However, putting that aside for a second, can I just ask you a simple question?
Starting point is 00:57:56 So, I haven't addressed this with you guys. You guys can be my audience, too, for this one. If the president of the United States was going to engage in a very sufficient, effort to stage an assassination attempt on his own life for, I don't know, for votes in an election he's not running in, he's termed out, I don't really know what he's doing that for. But assuming like you've met base level of stupid and you're there, they weren't smart enough to not tell the suspect in the case, not to take pictures of himself with some of the weaponry reused and he at the data.
Starting point is 00:58:32 It's a data point. It's a data point. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm just curious. Does that, that doesn't make any sense. So this high level conspiracy, they were like, hey, by the way, just don't take pictures of yourself while, you know, wearing some of the weaponry as the suspect in the case. Don't do it. I can't, folks.
Starting point is 00:58:59 I can't. Like, how do you explain this to yourself? And of course, the Democrats, who I told you, will never rescue themselves from the abyss of stupid. And their ultra-violent rhetoric that is causing a lot of this stuff, period. There's no both sides. Cut the bullshit. There's one side to this. We don't welcome this on the right.
Starting point is 00:59:19 They love this on the left. How do I know? Here, play that Fox clip. He's about 20 seconds of Democrats blaming Trump for another assassination attempt. Check this out. Put a lot of it at the feet of the Trump. administration for a lot of the things that they've done. President has had a part of that.
Starting point is 00:59:34 Okay. I mean, he's had responsibility in the rhetoric. And he should own that, right? Like, his tweets exist. Okay, like, there's a reality of that. This president is guilty of inciting violence. At what point do people simply say, hey, Trump is clear that you're the drama? Folks, how, I mean, we're at, like, again, levels of base stupid where to hurdle that
Starting point is 01:00:00 stupid hurdle. I can't understand how you wind up in this stupid tent. Lovely Paula just walked in the studio. She hasn't been here in a while. Want to say hello? Switching gears a little bit. Ladies and gentlemen, there's a lot happening on DOW2. Does you catch the fireworks up on Capitol Hill with our excellent Secretary of War Pete Hague said, I love Pete. I do my best to be objective in coverage. I promise. However, I'm not going to lie to you like others do. It is difficult for me because Pete's just really a great guy and I think he's been an amazing leader. And having seen from the inside some of the changes he's implemented at the Pentagon, some of the things are public. Some of them are not. I'm trying to pretend like, you know, hidden knowledge. It's just things I can't. It's not that it's hidden.
Starting point is 01:00:47 I just legally and for national security reasons wouldn't disclose it. But some of the changes Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is implemented at the Pentagon are so profound. They're going to impact our military for the better for years to come. I promise you. you, I would not make that up, despite my friendship with him. If he was doing a really terrible job, I'd have to say something. He's doing an amazing job, amazing job. I want to show you this back and forth about Quagmire. Ladies and gentlemen, listen to me on this.
Starting point is 01:01:20 I get it. I understand. To my conservatarian friends out there, I share your concerns about using our military, getting them bogged down and not having a clear plan. And any, like I said, I ran for office against what I thought was an unclear mission in Iraq. You can go look it up. The bona fides are there. However, we've been there a couple of months.
Starting point is 01:01:42 We've thankfully, although tragically had some casualties, but limited them. We have wiped out the Mullahocracy. We are now controlling the strait ourselves. The Iranian economy is in collapse. And the Democrats want us to lose so bad. They're calling this a quagmire again because they know that word is going to resonate with a generation. of people who felt like the mission was unclear in Vietnam and elsewhere. We don't lose wars.
Starting point is 01:02:06 What happens is the politics of the United States cost us wars. I want you to watch Secretary of War, Hank Seth, just clapping back hard on that bullshit yesterday. This was great. Check this out. I hope you appreciate how reckless it is. When I said reckless, feckless and defeatist of congressional Democrats at the beginning, that came after watching you say the same thing on CNN this morning. a quagmire. My generation served in a quagmire in Iraq and Afghanistan, years and years of nebulous
Starting point is 01:02:37 missions and utopian nation building that led us to nothing. What we have right now, the way you stain the troops when you tell them two months in, two months in, Congressman, you should know better. Shame on you. Calling this a quagmire two months in. The effort, what they've undertaken, what they've succeeded, the success on the battlefield that creates, strategic opportunities, the courage of a president to confront a nuclear Iran, and you call it a quagmire, handing propaganda to our enemies, shame on you for that statement. And statements like that are reckless to our troops. Don't say I support the troops on one hand, and then a two-month mission is a quagmire. That's a false equivalation.
Starting point is 01:03:17 Who are you cheering for here? Who are you pulling for? Our troops are doing incredible work. They've done incredible things for the entirety of this mission and achieved incredible battlefield successes. and you sit there and go on TV for your clickbait about quagmires. It undermines the mission. Your hatred for President Trump blinds you to the truth of the success of this mission and the historic stakes that the president is addressing,
Starting point is 01:03:43 which the American people support. I'm going to throw something out there. Fellas inside, I'm like, oh, where's he going with this? It doesn't say anything. The Republican bench political bench is deep. The Democrat bench is total shit. It's absolute garbage.
Starting point is 01:04:06 I'm not telling you there's not going to be some dark horse that's going to emerge. I'm talking about the Democrats side. Not people I would vote for, but like you had Obama come out of nowhere. Democrats love him. You know, Bill Clinton came out of nowhere. Bill Clinton was a governor with a light reputation at best.
Starting point is 01:04:24 A reputation wasn't even great and wound up being a two-term president. Someone could emerge out of nowhere on the Democrat side. I'm just telling you right now, I live in the now, like the Eckerdtel book, right? Their leaderboard is Kamala Harris, Buttigieg, and Newsom. I'm not telling you they can't win. I'm just telling you they're all deeply flawed candidates.
Starting point is 01:04:46 Kamala Harris just got smoked. Buttigieg just sucks and just destroys everything he touches. And Newsom's got to run as being the governor at California where people are moving out of it. They're all deeply flawed. The Republican bench is deep. That's why I'm not throwing in the towel. We're going to lose the midterms, lose the presidential.
Starting point is 01:05:09 No, I'm not saying that. You see where I'm going with this? Where do you guys think I'm going with this in the chat? I think Pete could make a significant run for national office. I think Rubio could make a significant run for national office. I think JD could make a significant run for national office. We have a bench of freaking ringers out there. Just absolute ringers.
Starting point is 01:05:41 And by the way, there's three names. There's probably 10, 20 more. I think Don Jr. could make a run. I'm not sure he's interested in politics. I think Eric could make a run. I think Lara Trump could make a run. The bench is deep. Pete has done an amazing job
Starting point is 01:06:03 despite multiple, multiple attacks. And he's a real guy. He's a real guy who's had issues like you and I. And he's got over him and he's reached the, I mean, the most important job in the United States presidency cabinet, the Secretary of War, former the Secretary of Defense. There is no more important job. And how do we know?
Starting point is 01:06:27 Because, hey, listen, Dan, you're a receipts guy. We got our little receipts thing. We bring receipts, right? Ladies and gentlemen, if Pete was doing such a terrible job, how come we've minimized, although had some casualties, but minimized casualties, we've basically met our metrics for what we said we were going to do in Venezuela, in Iran.
Starting point is 01:06:46 There are other things going on. Obviously, he can't talk about. And how come recruiting is through the roof? If he's doing such a terrible job, how come so many people want to sign up? It's like saying, that guy's a terrible leader of a company. We got 42,000 applications for 10 spots. It doesn't make sense.
Starting point is 01:07:01 Here's Secretary War Hegseb on some of the recruiting numbers. Again, receipts matter. This isn't hidden knowledge or a data point you never produced. This is a data point that's real. Check this out. I think something that obviously the media doesn't want to cover and doesn't want to talk about is the historic record-breaking surge in recruiting in our ranks. 30-year record in recruiting of Americans wanting to join our joint force,
Starting point is 01:07:28 wanting to put the uniform on. We're meeting recruiting goals halfway through the year. We couldn't meet our recruiting goals under the previous administration. Under Joe Biden, Americans didn't want to join the military. We couldn't get it. Now we have to turn people away and push them to the next fiscal year. That's why this budget grows our force by almost 50,000, ultimately. Additional troops into the force that we believe we can recruit.
Starting point is 01:07:52 That's the best vote of confidence, I can imagine. And here's the kicker. And I don't mean kicker like kicking the nut. like the Democrats do to their voters. I mean a kicker leg in a good way. The Republican bench is really young. Don Jr., Eric, Laura Trump, J.D., Rubio, Pete. Forgive me for not using titles.
Starting point is 01:08:15 It just will go on forever. I don't mean it disrespectfully. They're really young. We keep this going, the MAGA legacy of a strong economy, a strong military, solid borders, lowest crime rates in American history, a safe, prosperous America, man, we could be sitting in the White House for 30 years.
Starting point is 01:08:35 And then we cut off their gerrymandering, their racial gerrymandering efforts. We cut off their ability to count illegals in the census. Folks, I'm not kidding, man. We could be in charge for 30 years. All you got to do is show up and vote and continue to demand the results. You know, I like to put out these kind of PSAs. Jasmine loves these too. I try to help out with health hacks and things like that.
Starting point is 01:09:03 this is a political show, but I think there are some things out there that are beyond politics that are really important. This is not a health hack segment here. But just quickly, the lovely Paula, giving me that. This is for parents out there, soon to be parents, if you want to be parents, and if you're ever thinking about being a parent. I want you to watch this. It's about a minute or so. But this is the Dan Bongino Show, PSA. It is a news segment about screens.
Starting point is 01:09:31 Folks, keep your kids away from screens as they're younger. This thing is poison. You want to make your kids dumber like those guys at the No Kings Rally and others who don't have answers to anything? Put them in front of a screen in an early age. That thing is poison. I see this all the time. Listen, my daughter, my youngest one, has a phone.
Starting point is 01:09:51 We didn't give her a phone until she was in her early teens. We probably could have waited a little more. I'm not telling you I'm the perfect parent by far. Forget that. I made my own mistakes. One of the things we never did, though, keep your kids away from these screens. After you watch this, you will never put a screen in front of your young child's face again. This is unbelievable how bad the damage being done to a generation of kids is.
Starting point is 01:10:14 Check this out. Can you see the screen all right? This is five-year-old Rose. She was one of 60 kids to undergo an exhaustive study in the U.S. Using an MRI machine to scan the brains of kids aged three to five years old. The results, truly shocking. Interactive screen time causes a loss of white matter in the brain. Well, in the simplest terms, we could actually refer to some measure of brain impairment or brain damage.
Starting point is 01:10:44 Professor Mike Nagel from the University of the Sunshine Coast has spent a career studying child brain development. So white matter in the brain is a material called myelin. So what myelin does is it wraps around the axons of neurons. and acts like an insulator, a conductor, not too similar to the plastic coating of a wire. So if we're seeing definites in myelin production early in life, we're probably seeing deficits in neural connectivity. The study shows the more screen time a child is exposed to, the greater the loss of white matter. Can you remember your first reaction to those results, not only as a professional in this field, but as a father? My gut reaction was wow. I was not anticipating seeing anything like that.
Starting point is 01:11:28 anything like that. It hadn't occurred to me at the time that something as little as, and it said two hours a day, was having such a profound effect on the white matter associated with sort of language development. And by association, literacy, it was a shock, to be honest. Please, I'm begging you as a friend. We're trying to keep this show anchored in the political space, which is what we do in news, but branch out a little bit into other items. We're working on some guests next week that we're going to try to get back on different items, too, just like we had Dr. Ronda, please, in the name of all that's wholly, keep your kid away from these screens. Someone said in the chat, smartphones make you dumb. They do. The phone's smart. It makes you
Starting point is 01:12:08 dumber. I feel bad to, a couple of names I didn't even remember. Just to go back kind of the prior segment, not to jump around, but here's another couple of names of really, really young, but incredibly talented people in the political space who could run for office or national oven. Here's a couple you haven't heard. Steve Miller, I don't think he's into politics. I don't think he's into politics. Stephen Miller, I think he's into policy, but he's just a no bullshit guy. And Caroline Levitt's another one. She's actually got experience running for office. We had her on the show when she was running for Congress. Caroline Levitt's future is, I mean, the sky's the limit. Some of these people are in their 30s and 40s, folks. I'm telling you, like, if we go out there and do the 10, 10, 10,
Starting point is 01:12:50 grab 10 people, bring them to the polls, send 10 emails, I make 10 social media posts, make 10 phone calls before the election. We could be in charge for 30s. We could be in charge for 30 years. Shut down the border, get rid of the racial gerrymandering crap, stop the identity politics. We could be in charge for 30, 40 freaking years, man. And no, that's not hyperbole, polyana bullshit. That is real. If we wouldn't have screwed up the Reagan revolution, you know, George H.W.
Starting point is 01:13:19 And, you know, read my lips tax moment, which was not great. I mean, George H.W. had quite the resume. However, we started getting away from what made us really. popular, we would have been in charge for 30 years. Reagan won 49 out of 50 states. That's almost impossible. He only lost Minnesota where Mondale was from, and he only lost that state by, what is that, 3,000 votes.
Starting point is 01:13:42 Reagan could have swept to all 50 states. You know, how hard that is to do? Conservatism works. Servantism works. Now, it is not Friday. It is Thursday. But producer Jim has been kind enough weekly on Fridays, to leave you because I will not be here tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:13:59 Again, I'll be back on Monday. Don't sweat it out. Everything's good, by the way. A couple of people were asking me questions because I had mentioned something that happened to us, which was very unfortunate. They're not related. This is just a strict business thing, I promise you.
Starting point is 01:14:11 However, producer Jim has been kind enough to produce at the end of the week, which will be today for us. The Democrat Zen moment to leave you on the weekend with a sedating, calm, kind of meditating-like moment where you can drop the neuronal activity and just calm down a little bit.
Starting point is 01:14:25 Thankfully, the Democrats have produced that every Friday in today's case Thursday. Check this out. Your Democrat Zen moment of the day. A peaceful moment to center your mind. Watch this. Oh, I'm a bum. Ah!
Starting point is 01:14:45 I got it. This has been Democrat Zen. I don't see these. I don't. It's not some gimmick we do for the show. I just ask him if there's a lot of foul language. Give me a heads up. There's obviously not a lot of.
Starting point is 01:15:10 Thank you. TikTok lady for that calming, again, meditating-like moment. It's like yoga. It's like hot yoga in the studio. Everybody just kind of calms down a little bit after that. Folks, thanks again for tuning in. I will be back here on Monday. You've got Haley coming up at noon.
