Dan Bongino.
Welcome to the Bongino Brief.
I'm Dan Bongino.
Be very, very careful
about narratives coming out
in the coming days
about this Tucker Carlson thing.
There's something going on here
behind the scenes.
You are going to see an orchestrated campaign to take out Tucker Carlson thing. There's something going on here behind the scenes. You are going to see an
orchestrated campaign to take out Tucker Carlson. Now, there are two reasons for this, two important
reasons. You ready? Write this down. This is important. Number one is the orchestrated campaign
to take Tucker Carlson out before he can join another outlet and start voicing his opinions, which establishmentarians and swampies find dangerous, is one reason they're going to try.
There's two, but the most important one is going to be a signal to other talking heads out there that they better shut them up.
You fill in the blank about Ukraine and the deep state.
Oh, yeah.
There is going to be an orchestrated takedown campaign against Tucker.
You heard it here first.
Watch.
You just, what matter of fact, it's already happening right now.
Just go put his name in a search engine and read some of the articles.
It's going to sound awfully suspicious, some of these pieces.
There are establishmentarians and want nothing more than this guy to disappear.
The Pentagon, just put in, do me a favor. I could show you the articles, but there's honestly too many to put in the show. I'm not going to waste your time. Do me a favor if you're sitting there
at home on your phone right now, if you're watching, go to your computer, go to your phone
and just put Tucker Carlson, Pentagon. Interesting how Pentagon people we pay with our tax dollars
are now commenting about a news figure in the media.
The military's doing that?
What is this, North Korea?
Like, well, we're glad Tucker Carlson's gone.
We're glad he's out of here.
Oh, you are.
Keep that war machine going, baby.
Keep it going.
Bomb everybody.
Bomb this guy.
Bomb that guy.
Bomb it.
You get a bomb. You get a bomb. You get a bomb. We get a paycheck that guy. Bomb you. You get a bomb. You get a bomb.
You get a bomb. We get a paycheck. You get a bomb.
You get a bomb. You get a bomb. Is that actually
working, the you get a bomb approach? No, not
really, but it's working for my wallet.
Cha-ching, baby.
So this orchestrated campaign,
which you're seeing right now, to
destroy and decimate Tucker Carlson is credibility. I want you to be very, very you're seeing right now, to destroy and decimate
Tucker Carlson is credibility.
I want you to be very, very careful because they need to signal to other talking heads,
you'll be next.
People like me and others, however, North Tucker will not be cowed by that.
That's just silly.
Come on now.
You thought you're going to shut us up?
No chance.
And I promise you, you're not going to shut him up either.
More in a minute, but first. Folks, inflation has consequences as the Fed raises interest rates to
combat out-of-control government spending. Long-term bonds have diminished in value,
crippling banks. I've explained that before. Diversification of your assets has never been
more important. The recent surge in gold prices show why gold has historically been a great hedge
against the stock market and against inflation. Candidly, I purchased gold from Birch Gold many
times. I'm glad I did it before this crisis. The only company I trust to help you diversify
into gold is Birch Gold Group. Do it now before it gets worse. I buy my gold from them. You can
do the same. Text DAN, D-A-N, to 989898 to get a free information kit
on gold. Don't wait any longer. Birch Gold will help you convert an existing IRA or 401k that's
tied to a volatile market into an IRA and physical precious metals, gold and silver. And the best
part, it's tax sheltered. Text Dan to 989898 to claim your free information kit on gold today.
Don't wait. With an A-plus rating with the Better Business Bureau and thousands of happy customers, Birch Gold is who I trust to protect my future and yours.
Text DAN, D-A-N, to 989898 today. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.
Message and data rates apply. There's another reason there's going to be this orchestrated
campaign to take them out as well. They want to send a signal to any potential suitors for Tucker Carlson.
Look, look, we're going to come after you.
Well, you come after us.
You know what?
You're either in the free speech fight or you're not.
That's okay.
You can come after us in this whole free speech ecosystem all you want.
There are a number of people out there, companies I'm involved with,
companies I'm not involved with,
companies that I have nothing to do with at all,
that would all have Tucker Carlson on in a moment. They would have him on in a moment. You're not going to stop
that, but they're trying to send a signal right now to crush him. The articles are going to look
like this. They're going to be meant to attack his credibility, and there's a reason.
The reason they want to take out his credibility is one thing liberal media journalists hacks,
goofballs, propagandists, and agitprop prob the specialists. One thing they know is that liberals
don't have principles, but conservatives do. I get it. That sounds like a cheap insult as a
throwaway line. I promise you it's a statement of fact. It is a statement of absolute fact.
Here's what I mean by this, and gents liberals don't care that
you lie to them oh come on no no they don't rachel maddow is probably the singular most pop the single
most popular uh liberal tv podcast hosts out there they turn a tv show into a podcast it's it
racks up incred josey's we follow the charts racks up incredible. Joe sees we follow the charts. Racks up incredible numbers. Competitive with ours on podcast.
Yet, the weird thing is we got the whole Spygate collusion thing,
pee-pee hoax thing, Donald Trump's story correct.
Rachel Maddow's got it wrong at every single turn.
The Hunter laptop.
Everybody knows the story's fake.
Yet, it's had no impact on Rachel Maddow's ratings whatsoever.
However, when you look at people on the right,
some I'll leave out of this conversation,
or who claim to be on the right,
who've conned people, put up fundraisers that were BS,
turned out to be, you know, weirdos in the end.
What happens?
What happens in her popularity, Joe?
They're gone.
See ya.
Sayonara, baby.
Because conservatives don't tolerate, they'll tolerate mistakes.
Everybody screws up.
Everybody.
What they won't tolerate is a person who's an absolute fraud and a phony.
Liberal media hacks know that. So the attacks on Tucker are not going to be about anything other
than him being,
they're going to be,
oh, he's a fraud.
This guy's definitely a fraud.
I assure you,
there's one thing Tucker Carlson isn't.
It's a fraud.
He is not a fraud.
He is absolutely the real deal.
That I can tell you from personal experience,
whether you like him or hate him,
there is nothing he's saying on the air. He's saying because he doesn't believe.
He is absolutely the real deal. And that drives liberals crazy. So the attacks are going to look
something like this. Where does the left go when they need someone to put a fake story up like the
fake dossier and the fake pee pee tape.
Well, the guy who basically had a role in starting that, David Korn from Mother Jones.
Again, a guy with no human dignity whatsoever.
None.
No human dignity at all.
A man who replicates the characters of The Wizard of Oz
if I only had courage or a brain or a heart.
David Korn, a man with not a single sliver of integrity at all,
who is one of the key figures in promoting
one of the biggest political hoaxes of all time,
the collusion hoax.
They go right to him when they need to take someone out. Here it is, Mother Jones, Tucker Carlson's long con. In other words, he's conning you all. Was his long, strange trip a put-up job? You think this piece is by accident? You think this is a mistake?
you're going to see a lot of myths and fairy tales coming out in the coming days.
And they're all going to be direct attacks at Tucker Carlson's character and integrity because they know conservatives don't put up with that.
The problem is the stories are garbage.
Let me address a couple other misdirections and myths and fairy tales floating out around there about Tucker Carlson.
Gabe Sherman has broken a lot of stories about Fox in the past.
I don't know the guy.
I never met him.
But this guy's actually done some stuff that whether they like it or not, it's turned out to have some air of credibility to it.
However, this piece in Vanity Fair, I'm sorry, it's just hilariously stupid.
The new fairy tale about the Tucker thing, if you haven't heard it, and this is, and
I want it, there's always an agenda here, okay?
Remember the agenda first, attack his credibility because conservatives hate a phony, right?
The next agenda by the liberal media, Vanity Fair, New York Times, Washington Post,
is going, what is it going to be?
It's going to be, how do we now separate the conservative movement
and divide it so it fights each other?
So for as many issues as I've had over the years with people in the media,
and we've had some issues even with my old employer, we've wired those out, but there's nothing they want more
than a Fox versus evangelicals, Christians, and religious people thing out there. There's
nothing more. There's nothing they'd love more. I explained that poorly, didn't I? No good.
I explained that poorly, didn't I?
No good.
They want religious people to rebel against Fox.
Thank you.
That's where this article comes from.
Vanity Fair.
Tucker Carlson's prayer talk may have led to Fox News' ouster.
That stuff freaks Rupert Murdoch out who runs Fox.
Gabe Sherman notes, folks, I'm telling you this is nonsense.
A new theory has emerged.
According to the source, Rupert Murdoch removed Tucker Carlson over remarks Carlson made during a speech at Heritage Foundation, a gala on Friday night.
Carlson laced his speech with religious overtones that even Murdoch found too extreme.
The source, who was briefed on Murdoch's decision making, said Carlson told the Heritage audience that national politics had become a Manichaean battle between good and evil.
Ha!
Joe, where have you heard those words before?
Manichaean battle between good and evil.
Joe's like scratching his head like, I think I've heard them on our show.
I think so.
Matter of fact, I've recorded them words on our show.
Yeah.
I say that because Tucker
and I obviously
think alike on the issue.
I'm not,
by the way,
I'm not remotely suggesting
Tucker gets his material
from me.
I'm sorry if that came out
the wrong way.
I'm suggesting to you
that there is zero chance
Tucker was fired
for talking about
what I've talked about
on Fox
for 10 years.
What Ainsley Earhart
talks about on Fox
every day,
her love of Jesus Christ.
What Rachel Campos-Duffy talks
about every weekend.
There are a lot of things
going on at Fox, but we
are not liberals. It's important we get
the story right. If there's a beef there, we want
to know what the beef is so we can fix it.
I'm telling you this isn't it.
This is a clear effort to say,
religious people, Fox sucks. That's what't it. This is a clear effort to say, religious people, Fox sucks.
That's what this is.
This is a 100% BS story.
I did a show there for two years.
I've been doing hits there since 2011.
That is 12 years.
I probably have 5,000 television appearances on with Fox.
I have mentioned my love of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior on there probably 20, 30 times.
And I've said things about a religious good versus evil fight probably over 100.
No one has ever, ever on my life reached out to me and been like, hey, man, we don't do that religion stuff on the air.
I just did it for Easter.
You guys saw the hit.
I just did it on Easter where I wanted to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This story is 100%. I'm telling
you made up. I'm not suggesting Sherman made it up. I'm saying someone who told him this story
is making it up or has an agenda. There's no way this is true.
Finally, there's a lot of speculation about who's going to replace Tucker. Listen,
the guy's not replaceable. Okay. I said to you yesterday, I'm not going to replace Tucker. Listen, the guy's not replaceable, okay?
I said to you yesterday,
I'm not going to redo yesterday's show.
By the way, thank you.
It's our second show now in less than 10 days
with over a million views on video and audio too.
That may be the first time we did video and audio
in a million, which is totally bananas.
In one day, we have shows with a million,
but over a couple of days or weeks.
But that was amazing.
But I discussed in the beginning how there are people out there who are the news.
They may discuss the news, but they are the news.
What they talk about becomes the news.
There are maybe 10 people on the planet who can do that.
Maybe five of them here in the United States.
There used to be Howard Stern, not so much anymore.
Used to be Rush Limbaugh.
Obviously, he's not with us anymore. Used to be Rush Limbaugh. Obviously,
he's not with us anymore. Right now, there's probably two. Rogan in the news politics space,
Rogan and Tucker. That's it. He's not replaceable. But obviously, there's a lot of speculation.
This piece is in the newsletter today. It's a good piece, Daily Mail. Why was Tucker forced out? They go through a bunch of different theories. The religious thing is in there too.
I'm telling you, that's garbage.
I got my theory.
I just don't, I think he just wasn't controllable.
And frankly, you know, that's, I wasn't either.
I mean, that's just the way it is.
And I'm not sure that's a bad thing.
Maybe we just wasn't a good fit now.
Maybe it will be at some other time.
I have no idea.
All right. There's my little update on the story. Just be careful. There's going to be a lot of misdirection, a lot of agendas. I'm telling you, they need to take
this guy out. They don't want to hear anything about this guy anymore. The Pentagon wants him
out. Defense contractors want him out. Swampies want him out. McConnell wants him out. Lindsey
Graham wants him out. They want this guy put away and laid out to pasture. They don't want him out. Swampies want him out. McConnell wants him out. Lindsey Graham wants him out.
They want this guy put away and laid out to pasture.
They don't want him anywhere near a television camera again.
