She's in now. She's a, man, this Letitia James, remember she ran on this idea when she became the New York State Attorney General that she would
Starting point is 00:02:16 destroy the life of one Donald J. Trump. She hated him. Why'd she hate him? Because he's the most effective president of our lifetime. He's a Republican. He is a denunciation of everything that the left stands for in this century. And as a result, the left has thrown every single thing they could at him and the kitchen sink. And Letitia James, well, again, she ran on this issue. Remember this. Let's go to cut seven. This is Leticia James over time, as she was saying, I'm going to get Trump. The president of these United States is not above the law. No matter how rich, powerful, or politically connected. you are. Everyone must play by the same rules. Please sue him for us. Oh, we're going to definitely
Starting point is 00:03:02 sue. We're going to be a real pain in the ass. And now the Trump Justice Department may be a pain and her, you know what. That's exactly right. The angle has obtained shocking allegations right away with the Trump administration against New York. So yeah, no, this is this is great. So Letitia James ran on this forever and was like, we got to, we got to crush Donald Trump. and no, how'd that work out for you? And remember, the Letitia James prosecution of Trump was that he had come up with fraudulent values for his properties in order to secure favorable loan terms
Starting point is 00:03:36 and they invented all of this garbage. You get that goofy judge, Arthur Angaron in court, who's looked like a complete lunatic, constantly trying to hurt Trump. They said that Mar-a-Lago was worth nothing and that President Trump couldn't use it as collateral. Meanwhile, remember, the actual result of that case is that none of the banks felt like they were defrauded,
Starting point is 00:03:57 that the case itself ended up going in Trump's favor in the end. The entire judgment got thrown out against President Trump. So it was just everything about it was an embarrassing political hit job against the president of the United States. And now Letitia James, well, she's getting a taste of her own medicine. And this time, you know, she's actually guilty of the thing that she accused Trump of, as usual. At least the evidence definitely is stacked up against her. Here's the news last night as it was delivered by CNN. Cut one. Take a look. Kristen, I understand we have some legal breaking news. Yeah, we have just learned the New York Attorney General Leticia James, who obviously brought the charges and won against President Donald Trump has just been indicted by the Department
Starting point is 00:04:41 of Justice. This was a case that President Trump wanted to be brought. It's a mortgage fraud case. And it's also what led to the leaving of the U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia. Eric Sieber would not bring these charges. We heard he had reservations about bringing these charges. And instead, he left that position and President Trump handpicked Lindsey Halligan to serve as the U.S. attorney in that district. Okay. So I want to unpack a little bit of what you just heard there. One, it brings me glee to see CNN to have to report that news because they didn't want to have to
Starting point is 00:05:16 report that news, but there it was last night. And instantly, you can begin to see what they're saying, even in the breaking news component. This is before they had even seen the indictment. They're saying things like, oh, you know, there was a U.S. attorney who just left the job, Eric Seabird, and he refused to prosecute Letitia James because he didn't see enough evidence to support it. They are being very credulous to a left-wing talking point right now that has no basis whatsoever in the available evidence. I'll get to the actual indictment in a moment, but that guy, Eric Seiberg, had all sorts of evidence against both James Comey and Letitia James and was dragging ass in bringing a prosecution against either of them. The reality is the Trump Justice Department detected that this guy was trying to run out the clock on James Comey and was not bringing a well predicated prosecution against Letitia James. And it seems very clear to everyone who was observing this that this guy,
Starting point is 00:06:15 wasn't doing it because he was in bed with the Democrats. He had the enthusiastic endorsement of the Democrat senators of the state of Virginia, Mark Warner and Tim Kane, who said that that guy should be the full-time U.S. attorney running a shop. Okay. Well, when you get an endorsement from Tim Kane and Mark Warner, it should cause normal people everywhere to pause and go, what? How did you get endorsed by those gooms? And I think the answer was in the fact that he was protecting Democrats at every turn, you know. And so here we have now two prosecutions out of Virginia. You get these prosecutions from the Eastern District of Virginia against James Comey, against Letitia James, and they seem awfully well predicated. In fact, they're so well
Starting point is 00:06:58 predicated that the grand juries in both cases looked at the evidence and said, yes, there is enough here for the charges. In James Comey's case, for instance, the grand jury considered three different charges. They didn't say yes on all three. They only said yes on two. They turned one down. In other words, they were making a judgment call based on each charge. It wasn't some easy process. It was a deliberative considered process. And James Comey catches two charges as a result of that. We just saw him arraigned this week in court. He pleads not guilty. Now he's got a court process to deal with. He earned it. Good luck, James. Meanwhile, Letitia James just gets charged yesterday and you're already watching the spin starting on this subject, you know, as as you
Starting point is 00:07:46 would expect, suggesting that Donald Trump is doing something crazy here. But let me begin with the actual indictment. I want you to see the indictment here because what do they say? The truth matters. I certainly say that. The truth matters here. And take a look at what's inside of this indictment for those of you who are watching on the video version of the show, rumble.com slash Vince. Point five in the indictment lays out that it was back in August of 2020 that Letitia James purchased a three bedroom, one bathroom property in Norfolk, Virginia, and financed it with a mortgage loan of about $109,000. That was the plan. She got a mortgage for $109,000. And in so doing, with this mortgage. She classified this as a second property. She had a signed second home
Starting point is 00:08:45 rider. In other words, she was saying that this is a place that I am going to live personally as her secondary residence. And it prohibits the use of that residence as a time share or as a shared ownership arrangement or any agreement that requires her either to rent the property or give any other person control over the occupancy or use of the property. Let me just shorten that for you. It's not allowed to be an investment property based on the terms of the loan she took. She took it as a second residence. Despite those representations, the property was not occupied by Letitia James as a secondary property. And instead it was used as a rental investment. She rented the home to a family of three people. That misrepresentation allowed Letitia James to obtain favorable loan terms,
Starting point is 00:09:36 not available for investment properties, including a note rate of 3%, which avoided the higher investment property rate of 3.815%. Now, for anybody who's ever secured a loan, you know how meaningful it is, even to have small percentage changes over the life of that loan. And for Letitia James, in the end, because of the maneuvering she made in these documents, the misrepresentations, according to prosecutors, she was able to save herself $19,000 over the life of the loan. In other words, she stiffed the mortgage company, $19,000 she would have owed them had she told them the truth about the property. Now, look at this.
Starting point is 00:10:20 You tell me, is this or is this not an open and shut case? this the indictment here is only five pages long the relevant facts fit within four little tiny paragraphs and it's it's hard to imagine how she's going to be able to squirm out of this no wonder the grand jury looked at this and said we've got her this is bring the charges baby and so she catches the charges here the indictment comes through she gets two counts count one is bank fraud. Count two is false statements to a financial institution. So this is, you know, again, as open and shut as it can possibly get for Letitia James. Yes, open and shut case says Rick stirred inside of the chat. Yeah, I agree with you. I look at this thing and I'm like,
Starting point is 00:11:09 even I can understand this. Even a simple man like me can understand what did she do? Was she allowed to do it? No, she wasn't. Wham, bam, thank you, ma'am, we got her. And remember, also just in terms of like her consciousness of guilt she's an attorney she's the attorney general of the state of new york she knew as she was filling out this paperwork as she was applying for this mortgage as she was misrepresenting this to the bank that she was lying this is why you and i would hire a lawyer to look over our paperwork to ensure that we're following the law that we're doing it by the book that we're not going to be in any sort of trouble either criminal or civil and so here's letitia james she's in trouble she's in trouble and boy couldn't happen to a more
Starting point is 00:11:53 deserving person isn't that great so as big tish would say no one is above the law she would say that wouldn't she would say that she has said that in fact when she was going after donald trump she very happily said on x and everywhere else no one is above the law in fact here's video of Big Tish saying, cut two, nobody's above the law. Donald Trump and the other defendants have committed persistent and repeated fraud. Last week, we proved that in our motion for summary judgment. Today, we will prove our other claims. My message is simple.
Starting point is 00:12:35 No matter how powerful you are, no matter how much money you think you may have, no one is above the law. And it is my responsibility and my duty and my job to enforce. force it. The law is both powerful and fragile. And today in court, we will prove our case. I thank you all for being here. And again, justice will prevail. Thank you. No one is above the law. It doesn't matter how powerful you are. You will be held accountable. Justice is blind. It's coming after you. Yeah. How does it feel, Tish? How does it feel? you know and there's all sorts of evidence i my friend sean davis over at the federalist has been
Starting point is 00:13:17 has been hitting a bunch of these which make me laugh all of these i love these they may make me chuckle i love chuckling at at the misery of the people who've done so much damage to our country let's see here i got there's a way for me to show this to you oh yes there is here it is um when powerful people cheat to get better loans it comes at the expense of hardworking people Letitia James once said, every day Americans cannot lie to a bank to get a mortgage. And if they did, our government would throw the book at them. There simply cannot be different rules for different people. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Hmm. How's that working out for you? I love that. Take a look at this. There simply cannot be different rules for different people. Now, that's a lot of fun. And it also happens to be the same example. thing that FBI director Cash Patel just expressed on Twitter. Look at this. That's weird. What does this
Starting point is 00:14:18 have to do with anything? 6.02 p.m. Eastern time last night. Cash Patel posts. There simply cannot be and will not be different rules for different people. One system of law and order from this FBI. Huh. Where have I heard that before? Oh, that's right. When Letitia James uttered it in order. to advance tyranny against Donald Trump. Isn't that great? We also have our good friend, Dan Bongino, weighing in on this. He said the following, without fear or favor. Without fear or favor. They're going after Big Tish now. So, yeah, I don't think I would want the United States Department of Justice Cash Patel and Dan Bongino on my ass. That doesn't, I think in the end, work out too well for Big Tish. She did release a Comey-style selfie video reacting to her indictment.
Starting point is 00:15:16 And she's, it is as ridiculous as you might think. Here is Letitia James acting like a lunatic. Continuation of the president's desperate weaponization of our justice system. He is forcing federal law enforcement agencies to do his bidding, all because I did my job as a New York State Attorney General. These charges are baseless. And the president's own public statements make clear that his only goal is political retribution. Can we feel any more, Joyce? I mean, this is the funniest thing ever.
Starting point is 00:15:52 I'm having the most Schadenfreude ever. Every time I see this, she's releasing this whiny little video about how, oh, this is such an injustice. What a miscarriage of justice here that's going on. I'm being targeted just simply because I'm a political opponent. lady that's what you did at any cost the president's actions are a grave violation of our constitutional order and have drawn sharp criticism from members of both parties his decision to fire a united states attorney who refused to bring charges against me and replace them with someone who is blindly loyal not to the law but to the president what a liar is antithetical
Starting point is 00:16:33 to the bedrock principles of our country. Isn't that rich? Isn't that rich the tyrant lecturing you about how justice is supposed to go in our country? So as I mentioned, you know, it's not just her. The left broadly is already trying to pretend that she's completely innocent here, that nothing, she did nothing wrong, you know, stop, stop hassling her. One of the, one of the leading attorneys on the left is a jackass called, Mark Elias. He's the one who's constantly trying to steal elections on behalf of Hillary Clinton
Starting point is 00:17:08 and others. He's the one who cooked up the steel dossier, by the way, and did that through his law firm. And so this is part for the course. But he got on MSNBC last night. He was instantly whining over the prosecution of Letitia James. And he said, we've reached scary territory. He's nervous that he may be held accountable. That's what's happening here. I think really what we are living in now is we need to recognize that this is the reality. This is not surreal. Right. This is real.
Starting point is 00:17:39 This is not the abnormal. This is the normal. Like, this is the world that we now live in. We live in a world in which the President of the United States is able to get anyone in the country who he wants indicted to be investigated by the FBI. False. To be pursued. This is utterly false, what he's saying, by the way. No, he can't.
Starting point is 00:17:58 Remember the people who were assaulting cops in Washington, D.C., that were throwing sandwiches into the chest of federal law enforcement, caught on camera assaulting cops, and then it would be presented to a D.C. grand jury. He was like, hey, let's get an indictment against these people. Caught on camera doing these assaults. And then the grand juries in D.C. refused, because they're populated with corrupt Democrats who said, no, we're not going to prosecute these people. We hate Trump. And we don't care if it was caught on camera. So no, Trump is not able to secure prosecutions against anybody he once the justice department not able to do that they're still going through the grand jury process the evidence still has to be considered and charges have to be brought so mark alias is just lying to you have their house rated and if they can find a bare minimum of a grand jury quorum anywhere they will get indicted and the days of the department of justice and the rules that everyone keeps citing to me well the rules of this rules that those rules that rule book is gone okay those rules are gone Oh, my God. This is a unitary, this is a president of beliefs. He controls. Another, so look, this is really important because Mark Elias, first of all, is one of the leading lawyers on the left.
Starting point is 00:19:05 So if you're going to look for what they're doing legally around the country and certainly in the years to come, look to what Mark Elias does because he's really, really their key guy. He is using an inversion of the argument. This is all projection that, oh, the norms have been blown through, that somehow that, you know, the whole justice system has been suborned here and that now people are being attacked. merely because of their politics, not because of underlying violations of criminal law. That's what you do. This is the behavior of the left, and it has been the behavior of the left. The nightmare scenario that they're now undergoing that they didn't expect that they tried to stop through lawfare was that Donald Trump would return to office to hold them accountable. And I want to remind the nothing happens crowd. And there are a dead enders out there who've just given up. They blackpelled a long time ago and they just like, I whatever, throw their hands up, they've ejected from politics.
Starting point is 00:19:58 This is the something happens phase. What you're watching right now is prosecutions of people like James Comey and Letitia James. These are the exact things that the left tried to stop by throwing indictment after indictment, courtroom after courtroom, prosecutor after Donald Trump in an attempt to rob him and you specifically of the ability of correcting the injustices of this nation. So the panic that you're watching right now is that, holy shit, they're doing it. The Department of Justice, and he decides who's guilty, who's innocent, who gets indicted, and who gets prosecuted. And if we don't all wake up to that, then we're going to keep having this conversation about who checked what box on a form. Nothing about who checked what box on a form is what this case is about.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Yeah, actually, it's to everything that it's about. She lied. She's getting caught. The law is being properly applied. And now she's off the court. Now she's off to court. I drink your tears. I drink them and they sustain me more ahead on this celebratory edition of events.
Starting point is 00:21:03 I celebrate when justice is served. What you do? Let me ask you something, though. How much time do you spend every day on a web browser? How much time do you spend clicking around online, search and scroll on, typing endless tabs? You know, it's a lot, right? There's a new web browser now. It's called Comet and it's doing something new.
Starting point is 00:21:22 You can think of Comet as an AI-powered web browser with a built-in personal assistant that can actually do things for you across the internet. Instead of doing things yourself, you can just ask Comet to do it. And it literally clicks, type, searches, scrolls, just like you would, to get things done for you in the background. It's really key at helping you just manage your time, which is our most precious, precious commodity. Time.

Starting point is 00:22:26 That's PPLX.A.I.S. Vince, go now, take back your time online. Thank you to Comet. Great sponsor, and thank you to Rumble is always just so good. All right, let me dive a little bit deeper here. We've got, I just, I can't get enough of this. I just think it's the funniest thing ever. So on MSNBC, they're freaking out. And over on CNN, they're freaking out too. Did you see this one? On CNN last night, they said that everybody in America commits mortgage fraud. Now notice this is not the line that CNN took when everybody was hyperventilating about how Trump needed to be destroyed because of the charges Letitia James brought against him. But now the Letitia James is being charged. Well, we're getting a different
Starting point is 00:23:12 iteration of events. Here's CNN yesterday. Aside for a second. What Tish James, and again, we're still getting the details, but if it's related to this mortgage issue, I mean, this is something that everyone in America, or many people at least, if you're lucky enough to be able to buy a house in America, you deal with this, right? The federal government doesn't go after all of these people for doing this. Does that decide for the second? Are you listening to everybody commits mortgage front? Everybody does. It happens all the time. Justin, I'm sure you've committed mortgage fraud. Gis committed mortgage fraud. Andy, you committed mortgage fraud. I committed mortgage rent. We all committed mortgage fraud. When I woke up this morning,
Starting point is 00:23:52 first thing I did, I committed mortgage fraud. And then I had my cup of coffee. I had my blackout after I committed mortgage fraud. One second, a little more blackout. Hmm. Yeah. And then, you know, and then later today I'll commit some more mortgage fraud. Yeah, it's totally normal. Everybody does it. It's like going five miles over the speed limit. It just happens. What? What is she talking about? They remind you of the fact set that we're dealing with here. Letitia James lied in a mortgage application that it was going to be a second residence. It wasn't a second residence. She used it as an investment property.
Starting point is 00:24:23 And then she was able to bank tens of thousands of dollars and you got in gains. Is that something you have done? Is that something every American does? No. Hell no. Most people can't afford their first home, let alone their second. What? No, the whole thing is so crazy.
Starting point is 00:24:41 You know, you cannot conceal her crimes by spreading out or culpability. on the rest of us. I love that. I love how a Democrat gets accused of a crime. It is therefore, the whole country that's guilty. No, it's Letitia James. She did this. Luckily, not all of the takes on CNN were insane. Not all of them. Scott Jennings characteristically had a great reaction to this, cut three last night saying, spare me your whining about selective prosecutions. That's nonsense. Watch. If Democrats like Slotkin are going to come out today, and whine about selective prosecutions over Tish James. Her entire career is built on the selective prosecution of one man.
Starting point is 00:25:27 Now, I also believe what Elliot said. There's a process here. Everybody gets their day in court. Obviously, a grand jury saw enough evidence to bring charges. We don't know what they are, but a grand jury looked at this and says, okay, there's something here. She gets to go to court, just like Comey, just like anyone else. But to me, it's just not going to fly to boo-hoo over selective prosecutions on this particular person
Starting point is 00:25:53 promised in her campaigns, who went after him on things, as Jonah said, that had no business, no business ever happening, if not but for the man's last name being Trump. So I'm not going to- And how is that not a two wrongs make a right argument? I'm not saying it's right or wrong. I'm saying she gets her day in court. I'm saying a grand jury saw enough evidence to bring charges. And I'm saying she gets to go to court and tell her side of the story.
Starting point is 00:26:17 And then we'll see what happens. But I'm just arguing the political debating issue here. Democrats are going to say, this is the first time we've ever had somebody go down the road of selective prosecutions on her? Give me a break. Yeah, no, Scott's completely right there. I'll add one caveat, though. He hedged in the middle. He was about I can't realize.
Starting point is 00:26:36 I'm not going to judge what's right or what's wrong with these cases. I'm just making the political point. Well, I will. I'll say that the case against Trump was never in any way properly predicated. It was a novel, insane, and tyrannical application of the law to try and destroy Trump because he's Trump, not because of any underlying violation of the law. Meanwhile, Letitia James, this indictment is as clean as it gets. It is pretty obvious that this woman is going to have some real problems trying to convince a jury that she's not guilty here.
Starting point is 00:27:09 And so in other words, there are drastic differences in the quality of these cases. And Letitia James, she seems very credibly accused of breaking the law here. So good luck in court, Tish, big Tish, now facing the music, which is wonderful. I'm very excited about that. All right. Coming up, we've got some more updates for you. We've got updates from the president of the United States on that Gaza deal that I was speaking to you about yesterday.
Starting point is 00:27:37 I want to give you some more on that because we'll have a lot of rapidly moving pieces over the next few days. And just as they happen, I'd like for you to be able to anticipate them. A piece has begun in Gaza, weapons down. The drawback is beginning. We're going to see hopefully some of these hostages released very, very rapidly. We'll give you the update straight from the president's mouth in just a moment. And then a big, big governor's debate in Virginia that went very, very poorly for the Democrat yesterday, which is very good news. More ahead here on this edition of Vince.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Let me tell you, if there's something all of us can believe in, it's hard work, self-reliance, showing up for the people who actually count on us. But a while back, I hit a wall. You see, you get terrible sleep as I was doing. And then what happens is you drag yourself through the next day on fumes. operating at 100%. You know what I mean? Great sponsor of this program. Thank you very much, guys. All right. So the president has all these updates on what's happening in Gaza, the Nobel Peace Prize, by the way, was doled out this morning and the Nobel Prize Committee. They gave it to a Venezuelan opposition leader. By the way, who I will say is very appreciative of Donald Trump, loves Donald Trump, has expressed that over and over, really appreciates the support of the United States of America. So it sounds like a perfectly fitting person to receive a Nobel Peace Prize. But that said, I mean, who's more fitting right now than Donald
Starting point is 00:31:52 Donald Trump. I mean, the Nobel committee should have upended whatever the process is as they were making this announcement this morning and said, you know what, given world events, given how far President Trump has advanced peace all across the planet with all of these peace deals. Now, eight major peace deals, including this deal between Israel and Hamas, peace in the Middle East. Now's the time. Let's give this guy the Nobel Peace Prize. Now he doesn't need it to be candid. with you. It's not like he needs an accolade to demonstrate that he's done something effective here. But I think it would send the proper message. And it would help, I think, send a message to the rest of the planet that he's not the tyrant, the crazy person, the authoritarian, the destructive force that so many of these globalists have claimed he is for so long. He's been a force for peace. And he's been a force for good. And he's been a force for sovereignty right here in the United States of America. He's trying to end a war over there so that the United States especially can concentrate more on the problems we have here. I think everyone's rooting this guy on.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Everyone of decency should be rooting this guy on is the point I'm making. The president offered some updates on how this is all going to come down, how this piece is going to hold. He said the following at the White House yesterday. I'll just let the president say it. Here he is offering an update cut forward. Listen. You know, last night we reached a momentous breakthrough in the Middle East, something that people said was never. going to be done. We ended the war in Gaza, and really, on a much bigger basis, created peace.
Starting point is 00:33:28 And I think it's going to be a lasting peace, hopefully an everlasting peace. Peace in the Middle East. We secured the release of all of the remaining hostages, and they should be released on Monday or Tuesday. Getting them is a complicated process. I'd rather not tell you what they have to do to get them. There are places you don't want to be, but we are getting the hostages, back on Tuesday, Monday or Tuesday. And that'll be a day of joy. I'm going to try and make a trip over. We're going to try and get over there. And we're working on the timing, the exact timing. We're going to go to Egypt where we'll have a signing, an additional signing. We've already had a signing representing me, but we're going to have an official signing.
Starting point is 00:34:15 Yeah. All right, cool. So this is this is President Trump announcing the days ahead. That means that this weekend, and he kind of already indicated it looked like Saturday night, they may be flying off. But one way or the other, this weekend, he's headed over to Egypt. They're going to have a big signing on this. They're going to get everybody together. They're going to sign this deal. And they're going to begin this process of trying to restore things in Gaza. The reaction, by the way, in Israel and in Gaza has been elation. sides of this conflict. There's just been a tremendous amount of joy and a lot of proper credit going in President Trump's direction for making this happen. And that includes from some Democrats here in the United States. I've never seen anything like this. I was going over some of it yesterday. So for those of you want to see kind of a review of all of the breaking reactions to this, you can check out yesterday's program. But I'll just say, we are living in the most unusual circumstance, aren't we? And really, it's President Trump, of all people who could achieve this. How can you get the Israelis, the Palestinians, you know, the people in Gaza, all of the Middle Eastern countries, Democrats, Republicans in the United States, all reacting with either sort of like begrudging appreciation or outright elation.
Starting point is 00:35:31 It's, it's unreal what he's been able to achieve and I'm grateful for it. So hopefully it holds. I know he's working very hard to make sure it does. It's not over until it's over. And even then, you know, it may be a. a fragile piece for years to come. But with any luck, this is a real and meaningful and lasting peace. And the president certainly believes it is. And we'll see. We'll see. So that's what to expect. Hostage release is coming as the president said, Monday or Tuesday. Those hostage is not all alive. A lot of this is just their remains, which is tragic, but a part of this peace deal. There are families who want to get their loved ones back. They want to get their bodies back so they can properly bury them. So that's the process here.
Starting point is 00:36:13 All right. Then back here in the United States of America, we had a big debate in Virginia last night. Big, big, big debate. And it involved the Democrat nominee Abigail Spanberger, Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger, who's trying to become the governor of Virginia. And the current lieutenant governor of Virginia is a United States Marine by the name of Winsome Earl Sears. And she is running, of course, to become the Republican governor of Virginia now. And there have been a lot of lot of wild twists and turns in this race. I've told you about the polling here in Virginia. And the way it's worked is basically Winston Sears has been about double digits behind Abigail Spanberger. A lot of the big Republican institutions had written Winston Sears off. They've been kind of treating this race like a like not that serious. But that was before the attorney general nominee, the Democrat running in the race this year, Jay Jones. It was before a scandal emerged showing that he had wished for two bullets in the head of the former Republican Speaker of the House, Todd Gilbert. He said that in a text chain now just three
Starting point is 00:37:22 years ago. Those text messages emerged in some really important national review coverage. And now it may have upended the Democrats' hopes of actually capturing these top seats in the state. It's a wild change. A lot of Republican money has begun to flow into the state now. Suddenly, rich Republicans are writing checks to enter into the race in the state, thinking that Republicans do indeed now have a chance at holding onto these top seats, the governor's, the lieutenant governor, as well as the attorney general of the state. And last night, there was a massive debate in Virginia between these two gubernatorial candidates. And, well, it featured the text messages. Let me share with you kind of a wild start because the,
Starting point is 00:38:13 The outlet that aired this, wavy is the name of it, they, I think they got like a robot voice in order to read the text messages out. So for your listening pleasure, here's the beginning of the debate last night. Take a look. This is the debate in Virginia. You both will have a chance for rebuttal. Democratic Attorney General nominee Jay Jones admits he sent text messages to a colleague referencing former Republican House Speaker Todd Gilbert.
Starting point is 00:38:42 Here's what he wrote. Jones. Three people, two bullets. Gilbert, Hitler, Pol Pot. Gilbert gets two bullets to the head. Spoiler. Put Gilbert in the crew with the two worst people you know, and he receives both bullets every time.
Starting point is 00:38:58 Colleague. Jay, please stop. Jones. L.O.L. Okay, okay. I mean, do I think Todd and Jennifer are evil and that they're breeding little fascists? Yes. Colleague.
Starting point is 00:39:11 You were talking about. hoping Jennifer Gilbert's children would die. Jones. Yes, I've told you this before. Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy. Jay Jones has apologized and says he takes full responsibility for those messages. Ms. Famburger, you have called the comments disgusting and said you condemn violence. The question for you tonight is, were you aware of these messages before they were released publicly? And will you continue to endorse Jay Jones as the next attorney General of Virginia. You have 60 seconds. The comments that Jay Jones made are absolutely abhorrent. I denounce them when I learned of them, and I will denounce them every opportunity I get.
Starting point is 00:39:56 As a mother, as a public servant, as a candidate for governor, I denounce them. And it is important that candidates always denounce violence on no matter which side of the aisle, violence, a violent rhetoric, we should always be focused and forceful in our denouncement of it. So then when some serious jumps in and starts asking her like, hey, what's the deal? That's not the question. I'm asking you to denounce political violence? That's fine. You should do that.
Starting point is 00:40:25 Are you going to continue to endorse this guy? Are you going to call for him to get out of the race? What is this? Now, this ended up going on for minutes because Abigail Spanberger refused to answer the question. Here she is. cut five last night, asked for a second time. Wait a second. Hold on. Are you going to drop your endorsement? Are you going to call for this guy to get out of the race? Take a look. Thank you, Ms. Vanberger. I just, I didn't hear an answer there on the endorsement issue.
Starting point is 00:40:52 So I wanted to just make sure, will you continue to endorse Jay Jones to be the next attorney general of Virginia? And were you aware of these text messages before they release? You have 30 seconds. In fact, it appears that it was those who released the text messages and held them for years. So the public was unaware who had knowledge of these text messages for many of us. I learned of these text messages the day that they came out. And I denounced them as soon as I learned of them. She denounces murder. And importantly, at this point, as we move forward, the voters now have this information, information that was withheld
Starting point is 00:41:32 for them, presumably for political reasons, but the voters now have the information and it is up to voters to make an individual choice based on this information. Oh my goodness. Okay, so listen to her justification for why she still is maintaining her endorsement for Jay Jones, why she's not calling for him to get out of the race. She's trying to pass blame for Jay's well-earned scandal onto Republicans. Just saying, oh, Republicans sat on these text messages just to weaponize them. How come we didn't know about them before?
Starting point is 00:42:09 You should have told us a long time ago. Now it's too late. Now I can't take back my endorsement. If only you had told me before, it's your fault. This scandal belongs to you, Republicans. Yeah, that's not going to fly. That's not going to fly, certainly not among thinking people. That's insane what you're hearing from Abigail Spanberger.
Starting point is 00:42:30 And good for Winston Sears because when she had an opportunity to answer her own question, she turned around and she said, hey, Abigail, what's it going to take? What would it take for you to call for this guy to leave the race? Do you need to see him actually shoot children? Would he need to kill your children for you to call for him to get out of the race? United States Marine, Winston Sears cut right through all of the BS. Here she is last night. And watch as Abigail Spanberger freezes. She's got nothing to say. I'm wondering why my opponent won't say beyond its abhorrent and disgusting, why she won't say it is not okay and that he must leave the race because Jay Jones advocated the murder, Abigail, the murder of a man, a former speaker, as well as his children who were two years, two and five,
Starting point is 00:43:30 year and so you have little girls what would it take him pulling the trigger is that what would do it and then you would say he needs to get out of the race abigail you have nothing to say Abigail what if he said it about your two children your three children is that when you would say he should get out of the race Abigail you're running to be governor Spanberger just stares straight ahead. She has no answer. She's frozen. She's paralyzed.
Starting point is 00:44:06 Nothing to say. Nothing to say for herself. That was a devastating moment in American politics. Winston Sears did an excellent job. And I love, I just, there was something very artistic about the way Winston Sears just kept saying her name, Abigail. Abigail. Have you nothing to say? Abigail, as Abigail just stands there, stone-faced, heartless, not at all concerned about the well-being of children, not at all concerned about political violence,
Starting point is 00:44:36 not at all concerned about the attorney general nominee in her party who called for violence. Winsome Sears, in that moment alone, won the debate last night, won this debate. And the polls are definitely demonstrating that Winston Sears is now closing on Abigail Spanberger. Even yesterday, a new survey showing that this race is tightening with each passing day. This debate is going to do the Democrats no favors. Which is why for Republicans, this is an important moment. Voters in Virginia, those of you who are in Virginia, those of you who want to assist in Virginia politics, people have to know what these Democrats stand for.
Starting point is 00:45:21 Now, you're not going to convince everybody that these Democrats are out of control. In fact, too many Democrat voters themselves are out of control. If you look at the polls on political violence, remember, earlier this year, Rutgers University had a survey that found that a majority of people
Starting point is 00:45:37 who consider themselves on the center left said that they could justify the assassination of President Trump. Nearly half of Democrats in the same category said that they could justify the assassination of Elon Musk. that follows similar surveys including one from the southern poverty law center that found that young democrats male democrats in particular believe that political violence is the answer for
Starting point is 00:46:00 their political opponents there's an assassination culture on the left we've talked about it at some length because we keep seeing it happen either attempts on the life of important conservatives or unfortunately the successful assassination of charlie kirk Democrats have a spiritual and cultural problem. And yes, there are voters. I saw Jesse Kelly, my friend Jesse Kelly even say it again today, that the reality is the reason Spanberger won't denounce this person, won't call for him to get out of the race, won't drop her endorsement, is because she knows huge numbers of her voters agree with this sentiment. agree with the sentiment that their political opponents deserve bullets in the head. So rather than alienate a meaningful cross-section of her base, she's just trying to ride this bad boy out. And then somehow it passed blamed to Republicans for it.
Starting point is 00:47:02 No, her party owns this. And her party too often embraces it. So wild display last night. and if anything you know we often talk about votes okay can votes change can can can win some sears pick up more votes in the state perhaps certainly that is the ultimate goal if that could happen and by the way conservatives in the state and the people who are helping in the activism in virginia please by all means not only get to the polls as early as you possibly can get those early votes in but get a hundred people to go with you get get everyone out that you can to these polls make a party out of whatever you need to do in gender enthusiasm for the election and get winsome sears and these republicans who include jason miyra as the incumbent attorney general across the finish line but it's not just about changing votes sometimes it's just about telling would-be democrat
Starting point is 00:48:00 voters kind of mushy middle people that hey look how crazy this party is they're for putting bullets in the heads of their political opponents? Yeah, how about maybe you just don't go to vote? Maybe sit this one out. Maybe become so uncomfortable with that that you're like, you know what? I'm going to sit it out. I can't in good conscience vote for that person. Well, that's enough. That's enough to have a meaningful impact on the election. So get the message out. Get the message out. And boy, get the votes out in Virginia. Massive gubernatorial elections in both New Jersey and Virginia. Now, that voice thing, I got to take you back to that voice thing for a moment, the way that they presented that wavy TV. I don't think this was a voice person, a voiceover
Starting point is 00:48:42 person. I think they used a robot or something for that. That was a wild thing as they read the text messages out, right? Listen to this. Colleague. Jay, please stop. Jones. L.O.L. Okay, okay. I mean, do I think Todd and Jennifer are evil and that they're breeding little fascists? Yes. Yes. Yes. do I think they're evil and that they're breeding little fascists. Yes. And then Abigail Spanberger goes on to not offer like a single meaningful word in response about getting rid of this guy, getting him out of the race, to which I would hope that the voice guy would respond. What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is, is now dumber for having listened to it i award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul yeah that that would be the best voice guy i think that's that's really a smart reaction to that um because that was just awful what we witnessed that was that abigail spanberger is a
Starting point is 00:49:51 complete disaster i mean because voice guy wouldn't you have answered it differently isn't that crazy that she answered it in that way that she was just like oh i don't like violence but j jones is fine and Republicans are the real bad guys i mean seriously how is that her answer how hard is it just to say that you think j jones should drop out of the race what a grotesque display of political cowardice no virginian in their right mind should vote for that idiot yeah hold on a second i'm going to draft my own text message to abigail spanberger here we go hey abigail you're a moron both you and j jones should drop out of the race and then go see if you can't you can't can get a group discount on a shrink make america great again that's pretty good that's a pretty
Starting point is 00:50:37 good text message actually that's a much better text message than joneson i'll be honest with you well i'll tell you what i mean i'm i'm just grateful that you were a part of the debate at all i do think in the end it was a nice way to present it i felt like the gravity of the text was really conveyed by your voice so so thank you for that and uh and thank you for checking in with us today after that debate i know you had a late night last night thank you vince you're the best you're the best And as a great man once said, thank you for your attention to this matter. Yeah, no problem. No problem at all, man. It's it was just, it was great having you stop by. All right. So, yeah, crazy debate last night in Virginia, please, please, in the Commonwealth of Virginia,
Starting point is 00:51:14 please get this across the finish line. It really matters a great deal. And I can't get over the fact that, that this is even a close race in Virginia. Like what? Like how are Democrats leading it? Is our country that divided? Are Democrats that dead set on this insanity that they're going to continue to just like be all in on the craziest possible people? Well, you know, one more thing on the government shutdown. Let me say this with utter seriousness. And I want you to take me very, very seriously right now. I need you to take me seriously. No laughing. Here's what we need. We need to fire people. You familiar with this government shutdown we've got going on? President Trump has said a couple times this week, yeah, the firings are coming.
Starting point is 00:52:04 We're going to be doing some firings. Please do not wait any longer. It sounded like he was doing it by this weekend, that we're going into Saturday and Sunday, that we were going to start getting some firings. Well, my, I don't want to say, I feel weird saying this. I don't want to say that my patience is running out, but it is driving me crazy. Just fire the useless people. You're not telling me, you're telling me there's no useless people to fire?
Starting point is 00:52:31 That's not what they're telling me. Unleash Russell vote. The president keeps referring to Russell. Fire people. Fire people. He's been waiting his whole life to do it. Now is this opportunity. The government shutdown continues.
Starting point is 00:52:44 It's time to fire people. Russell vote can do this in the Office of Management and Budget. Let me get a, let me get a show of chat here. Chat. We have to send this to the White House. Can we do that? I just asked the audience, do you want to shrink the government?
