Starting point is 00:00:00 All the time. On the side of freedom and liberty, your voice of hope and truth is here. The Bonino Report, PM, with Dan Bonino. Folks, I'd like to tell you we got a big show today, which we do. So I don't I'd like to tell you, I just told you. But we've got a pretty big week. Producer Jim, correct? We've got a lot going on?
Starting point is 00:00:43 Correct. In the entire Bonino, Inc. everyone I call it family you know Vince Colin A's on nationally on radio 12 to 3 also has a podcast on our network you can check out at rumble.com slash Vince he has an interview with vice president vance he was recording today Monday will air tomorrow Tuesday at 8 a.m. Eastern time on demand on demand any time after that so please check that out I'm sure they'll break a lot of news that's a great get by Vince congratulations on that we will also be using some of the clips on our show.
Starting point is 00:01:19 So in case you miss it, you can check that out. You see how we're like, Jim, that's like a total. I told Vince, I go, I'm totally stealing some of your stuff for the show. He's like, hey, man, it's not stealing if I tell you to use it. So we're happy for him. Good job, Vince, getting that one.
Starting point is 00:01:34 And we have a big interview this week with the man who took my spot at the FBI after my year there over the first year of the Trump administration. FBI deputy director Chris Raya will be interviewing this week. you will hear some of that on Bongino Report AM Bonino Report PM and on the podcast. So I don't miss that. Okay. It is Monday. It is great to be back with you. I sometimes do a weekend update because, you know, I love you all and feel like we should all kind of know each other a little better than, you know, me being behind a radio. And there's nothing more rewarding than going out and seeing listeners to the show who tell me things about my life. I'd even forgotten. They ask me about like Lucy and her health bars.
Starting point is 00:02:15 And I'm like, how do you know about the health bars? joked. Like you said it on the radio a year ago. I mean, you remember that? Unfortunately, I don't have a huge weekend update because this weekend was a really, really busy work weekend. No, it's not one of those ridiculous humble brags. Everybody works for a living. But we did have a lot to get done. So had an interesting date night, Friday night. We just kind of hung out in the backyard a little bit, but nothing really that exciting. However, we did have this, all of this going on, trying to coordinate all these interviews and everything like that. So the, You know, I like a theme to show us.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Because, you know, it's like kind of reading a book. You want to know in advance, like what the book's about, right? You don't want to go into a book and go the book about nothing. And then you read it. It was a great book. I wish it was a murder mystery. I would have recommended it in advance. Today's show is not a murder mystery.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Today's show is about contrast. It's going to come up often in today's show. We have an election coming up in just about 40 days. and one of the primary tactical tools that good politicians on both sides of y'all, I'm not saying they have good ideas. I'm not a Democrat, obviously. But people who are good at getting votes that make some good politicians, that's what they do, are really good at a couple of things.
Starting point is 00:03:31 They're good at sound bites. They're good at snapshots. No, they're not photographers, but they know what a good picture looks like. And they know how to paint contrast and how to ask questions. how not to avoid assertions and ask people questions. But the contrast component of this is so critical, and you're going to see it throughout today's show today. As I don't only tell you,
Starting point is 00:03:57 hey, here's what the president's leadership has led to over the last two years, President Trump. Again, there are some areas of concern. No doubt, I am not downplaying your genuine concerns about cost of food, diesel, fuel prices. That is all very real. the question is, if that is the one issue you're voting on, if you were to withhold your vote and basically allow Democrats to win, will that issue you're voting on get better or worse?
Starting point is 00:04:27 And the answer, I can tell you, with absolute certainty, absolute certainty is 100% the Democrats will make it worse. And I don't want to, I'm not painting this as being on the margin at all. I am absolutely convinced. President Trump's agenda has led to some remarkable spreadsheet items. Spreadsheets. Put the numbers in front of me. Median household income, highest it's ever been.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Jobless rate. 57-year law. I'm only 51 years old. We haven't seen a jobless rate this low since six years before I was born. The poverty rate, the lowest. The border finally under control. Crime collapsing in this country, thanks to the president's leadership and his anti-crime approach.
Starting point is 00:05:11 These are all real numbers, but that's not in any way meant to diminish, that there are still real concerns. The president was dealt, unfortunately, a really bad hand. Biden handed him a global mess. He handed him at 1.9% inflation. He handed him an open border of 20 million people. Folks, the federal law enforcement workforce is not that big. It's not. There were only 38,000 FBI employees, only about 12,000 agents.
Starting point is 00:05:41 When you factor out managers and headquarter people, there's probably only people out sick or all this other. There's probably four or five thousand agents working. That's it for the whole country of 330 million people. The president was left this mess. And I believe he's done an admirable job. But it's not good enough to say that. We got to paint a contrast and say to people out there, you have a choice. If you fail to vote and you allow the other side to win, this is the kind of.
Starting point is 00:06:11 stuff you're going to be looking at. It's going to be shoved down your throat like syrup of Ipecac. Here you go. Take it. Johnny. It tastes great. Throw it up. That's the point. We had to get rid of the poison. You got rid of the poison. The poison with these stupid liberal ideas. By the way, Jim, did you get that edit earlier in the podcast? Sorry about that. Yeah, I got it. I did the podcast earlier. I had a warden producer Jim. I'm like, Jim, get ready. You're listening. It was bad. But Kendallanian just drove me nuts. You watch the podcast. You'll see what I mean.
Starting point is 00:06:42 I want to paint a contrast for you. Here is a Long Island Congressman. I know very well. This guy is really a buffoon, folks. His name is Tom Swazi. The only reason I know this guy well is when I was a young Secret Service agent, I was in our office, our Secret Service agent office, in Long Island. It was in Melville.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Melville's right near the Huntington area out there. And Hillary Clinton at the time is running for U.S. Senate. That's how old I am. And, you know, she was the first lady. she would come out to Long Island a lot to events or Long Island as they say from New York York right and Swazzy who is one of these like my daughter calls him out I'm not into the kid lingo but my daughter's 14 she calls him like pick me guys you ever hear this thing Jim pick me like look pick me pick me everyone knows that kid from him Tom Swazzy's the pick me guy hey pick me
Starting point is 00:07:31 look at me he would show up at these events for Hillary Clinton we'd be at he would show up last minute, he would like announce he was coming in like he was like the king of Siam, like we were supposed to get palm fronds and wave him in. The guy's a clown. He pretends to be like some pseudo-moderate when he needs votes. And then he says crap like this. You want to elect the Democrats again? Okay. How do you feel about legalizing, providing amnesty for millions of people in the country illegally? How do you feel about that? The answer is Tom Swazzy's telling you how to feel. He's like, hey, vote for us. We're going to do it. No, he's not dumb enough to say that. No, he is. He just said it.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Here's the receipts. Check this out. My number one issue is to try and get a resolution on immigration. My biggest desire, my biggest goal of what I want to accomplish in politics right now is I want to legalize seven or eight or nine or ten million people in our country so they will not be subject to deportation. Dude. How does someone say that out loud?
Starting point is 00:08:35 Thank you. Thank you, producer Jim. There has been a mass revolt against the Biden-Kamala Harris open borders policies to led to one of the biggest presidential landslides in modern history, President Trump winning every swing state. And you've got this guy in an area of Long Island, by the way, that is not deep blue. Jim and I know New York very well. It is not deep blue. It's actually a relatively moderate Democrat place.
Starting point is 00:09:07 It was a Republican when I grew up, but it changed. But it is not full of green-haired Karen's. It isn't. And he's out there, a place that's been ravaged by illegal immigration, Suffolk in Nassau County, where Swazi is in Nassau. And he's out there openly saying, as if like this isn't being recorded. What are you saying? We're going to, my first call. And he doesn't only say he wants to do it.
Starting point is 00:09:29 He's like, this is my most important thing. Notice what he isn't say. Not affordability. It's not this, you know, crisis in Iran. You know, it's not crime. It's not a growing economy. It's not AI, data centers, whatever your topic is your flock cameras, whatever it may be. His number one priority is we need to legalize millions of people who came here legally.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Thank you. Thank you, Congressman Swazi for letting us all know where you stand. Now, you may be saying fairly enough. All right, damn, this is just a tool. congressman from New York. Why are we paying attention to this idiot? Because folks, I swear to you on my right arm, this is a mainstream position in the Democrat party.
Starting point is 00:10:15 There's probably less than five or six Democrats in the House. And outside of Federer, probably no one in the Senate who believe the opposite, that you shouldn't leave by these people. I'm being gracious with five. This is a mainstream Democrat position. There is an election coming up. elections i'll get into this later but elections like the sports analogy just fails i'll explain you i use it sometimes too like ah you know it's a this team playing that team no no it's not because there's too many
Starting point is 00:10:44 variables out of your control in sports whether you know how's the how's the number three hitter feeling this day he's got a hang nail he's not in the mood his girlfriend broke up with him he was like the weirdest thing we hired this guy once to work a party and his girlfriend broke up with him and it's the true story and i'm like what's going on here this isn't like a counseling And it was like the weirdest thing. Like there's too many variables out of your control. There is a variable in your control in an election. You know what it is?
Starting point is 00:11:09 It's you. If you show up and vote in the numbers we did in the presidential election, we will win. If you don't, we lose. It's that simple. There's no other variable. You want this guy in charge? It's his number one priority. I wouldn't, you know this isn't the BS show.
Starting point is 00:11:27 Folks, I had to tell you a lot of things. Even in my time in the government, a lot of things people didn't want to hear. But I'm always telling you, I'm not going. six feet deep as a liar for clicks. I'm not doing it. I don't care. I don't care if I have no listeners left in the end. It matters not. What matters to me is the truth. What matters to me is the truth. I'm telling you this is a mainstream position in the Democrat Party if we fail to show up in
Starting point is 00:11:55 this midterm election. So we know they're all in for legalizing millions of illegals who are here. He just said it. Here's another one. Here's Roe Kana. Now, you would think, again, the Democrats, all they're talking about up to this election, even though they caused the affordability crisis with Biden's 9% inflation and his just blowout spending agenda where they had to print a lot of money, you would think Roe Kana and Swazi would say, my number one issue, producer Jim, is affordability and finding a way to get prices
Starting point is 00:12:29 out. No, it's legalizing millions of people, his own words. And Ro Kana's like, you know what another important agenda that is impeachment that's that's great row that has worked out for you so well on the past your 47 other impeachments have been just amazing they've been so great maybe we should what's that thing like you know it reminds me of um the old friends episode when the phone is ringing and uh chandler tells joe you know that'll stop if you pick it up you know the pain in your face will stop too when you stop banging your head off the desk they keep banging their head on the desk letting the phone run. They can stop it by just picking up. They've tried this impeachment thing. It has been an epic fail, an epic fail in every respect. So surely they're not going to waste
Starting point is 00:13:17 their time with that again, your time. Oh no, they will. Check this out. Teaching President Trump a third time, a mistake for Democrats? No, it's not because it's not about Donald Trump. He's going to be a lame duck and, in my view, largely increasingly irrelevant. The point is to stand up for the Constitution. Impeachment says that you can't get into an illegal war in Iran without constitutional approval. Impeachment says that you can't just start firing federal employees in defiance of what Congress says. Impeachment says you can't do deals with foreign governments to allegedly enrich your own family. It's about setting a standard. And the Democrats can impeach to uphold constitutional values. And at the same point,
Starting point is 00:14:04 time have a first 100-day agenda that deals with the cost of living to have childcare. I just unleashed a free child care plan to have an increase in minimum wage, to have paid family leave, to tax the billionaires. We can do both. It's free, Jim, too. I didn't even catch that at the end. Free childcare.
Starting point is 00:14:22 It's all free, folks. People are volunteering their time. No, no. They're getting paid. Yeah, by who? Oh, by you. The tax pay, he's just stealing your money to do it. I love what they say it's free.
Starting point is 00:14:30 And morons for them. It's free, man. It's free. people are volunteering no no they're not volunteering so they're getting paid by who oh you yeah you're you're paying him i love his other line too like yeah we're gonna impeach him even was like christin welco or whatever she's like you're gonna impeach him a third time like you kind of like fell on your face the first two times and he was not it's not about president trump nah dude you're right it's about like chester arthur uh maybe james k polk like that's what he is the president correct
Starting point is 00:15:00 folks contrast contrast you have a choice There is a real penalty for a miss in this election. We got to stay focused. We got to stay strong. And we've got to show up. It's not a sports game. It's not. You don't need the quarterback to have a good day.
Starting point is 00:15:15 You are the quarterback. Just throw the touchdown, go and vote. And we will stand a chance, at least a chance, of staving off one of the worst midterm election disasters we never see because all of the good stuff that happened is going to get flushed right down the toilet with these two idiots, Swazi and Rokana. More coming up next. We'll be right back. So Jack Smith, who was the weaponized special prosecutor in that ridiculous, absurd weaponized case against Donald Trump, was up on Capitol Hill. That's a brief commentary on that.
Starting point is 00:15:51 The Lindsay Clancy potential retrial, there was a hearing today that was live at 10 a.m. 2. And then President Trump at the same time was doing a briefing on America. It was at America.com. His new AI site for government services. So it was, I was actually stunned me at anybody there, but just going in reverse to cover kind of today's news. Jack Smith up on the hill. So Jack Smith is up there. And folks, given that I was a central part of this investigation, I'm going to limit my commentary intentionally.
Starting point is 00:16:24 However, I do feel an obligation because I've said this before to tell you that Cash and I, when we ran the FBI as the director and the deputy director, we found out about what became a central. component of today's Jack Smith hearing up on Capitol Hill of the phone records, the taking of phone records of members of Congress and the Senate. We found out about that because of a massive information deep dive we had, we had done. And I'm just going to be straight with you. We had people who were not necessarily open and willing to give this stuff up. So we had to do a dive. I will never forget the day, and I won't tell you who, but when somebody ran into me with a piece of paper and knocked on my door, And they used to call me Ball. Hey, Ball.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Which I hated, by the way. I still hate it. Some people here call me. I just can't stand. But whatever. I gave up. I just tell them not to. Hey, boss, we found something.
Starting point is 00:17:15 And I said, what is it? And it was basically a memo where we had learned about the taking of phone records for members of the Senate. So in the interest of transparency, we ran, or I did, specifically me, ran up to Capitol Hill and pulled the senators out and put them in a room and said, hey, listen. this is what happened. So there's an investigation into that, which I'll respect, but Jack Smith got caught up today on Capitol Hill, and I don't think did a particularly good job defending what I believe was an unquestioned weaponization of government. So that happened today. And again, I remember the moment like it was yesterday. Folks, I knew it was bad, but just to see this constant litany of stuff being put on your desk where you're staring at it with your own two retina and eyeballs is just a
Starting point is 00:18:03 shocking experience. It really is because you know it and you see it and and you know we'll leave that there. Also today, and I'll get to this later, this Lindsay Clancy case, folks, I'll cover this later in the show just briefly, but the case is disgusting. It's an abomination of humankind. The fact that three children were murdered, one of them apparently was trying to get away and that this has become about doxing a juror who was an American hero who did the right thing is just, gross and speaks more to the post true society we live in right now than anything i'm really horrified by this whole thing i cannot believe that there were that there was anyone on that jury who was not convinced at the time and the fact that the one man who held out who will cover this a little bit more
Starting point is 00:18:50 later is become the the bet noir like the awful guy and it's just outrageous this guy is an american hero and it's just really gross what happened to him okay getting back up to tauty today's show because some more news broke yesterday. I know it's a lot. This is a heavy opening segment. So forgive me from jumping from topic to topic, but this is again like drinking from a motorized fire hose with a jet engine behind it. Yesterday, something happened as well, which was indicative of this news ecosystem we're in now.
Starting point is 00:19:26 Where candidly, folks, I don't think truth matters anymore to a lot of people. I just don't. the Clancy trial to that, to that effect, just kind of nails that for me. Do people even care that three innocent kids were murdered? And I've asked this question a lot. Like, would the post-truth world
Starting point is 00:19:45 in this post-truth world, would it matter you more if we forced you to watch it? Because a lot of people who had really strong opinions about free Palestine or whatever, after they watched the video that these, you know, animals put out after October 7th,
Starting point is 00:19:59 you see the video a whole lot of, of people change your mind and go oh i didn't realize they were taking people's heads off with shovels yeah they were yeah they were we live in this post truth world and unfortunately a large portion of the post truth world effect where people will believe anything they hear on x or elsewhere and it's not you i'm not in any way condemning my audience you guys are great and ladies out there a lot of this is the left wing media i bring this up because it's a story again that i was involved in and when you're on the other side and you're back in government and you see the fake news, you see why Donald Trump can't stand these people.
Starting point is 00:20:40 You see it. And I'd always known about the fake news. So did you, obviously. However, when you see it on the other side and you see how they just blatantly make this stuff up, you're like, you want to just throw up every time you read one of these stories. So yesterday, a former colleague of mine at the FBI, Andrew Bailey, who was the Attorney General of Missouri and is a wonderful family man and just a great guy, die hard conservative and a good man.
Starting point is 00:21:08 He worked with me in cash. He was in a co-deputy director's spot. We worked together for a long period of time while I was there, okay? He was a good man. He was brought in to help. I told you we were overflowing with information. He was a total asset when he was there. So yesterday, he announced he was leaving the position.
Starting point is 00:21:28 I believe in a week next week or so. He was headed back to Minnesota. Missouri. And folks, there is nothing controversial about this story at all. Like me, I had pledged I was going to do the first year of the administration. That's what I did. I had some obligations. I could only do the year. Attorney General Bailey, who was the co-depity director, had some of the same family obligations. He was, it's no controversy here at all. Why am I bringing this up? Because the garbage, trash scum in the left wing media has to make a scandal out of everything. This is the biggest non-story ever.
Starting point is 00:22:02 And, of course, who is at the tip of the spear is stupid? Who's always at the tip of the spear is stupid? Fusion Ken Delanian. This guy spins more tales than freaking Teddy Ruxpin. Fusion Ken needs a surgical coin insertion spot in his spine where we can include Teddy Ruxman tokens so he can tell you a freaking story. Nothing this guy tells you of substance
Starting point is 00:22:26 about the Trump administration is ever true. the intercept back in 2014 it's a left-wing outlet wrote this big article saying how kendolyanian was basically a tool of the CIA and was a quote CIA mop-up man like he was working with them to foster an hour i didn't write it they wrote it and yet this guy is allowed to spew his nonsense on x and msno w whatever the hell they renamed the stupid network and it's really an insult Here's Ken Delanin. He announces, yeah, I have a former AG Bailey. He's announced he's leaving his post as at FBI.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Three people familiar with the matter, told MS now, notice Jim, they don't name them. I hear unnamed sources throw right in the garbage, throw right in the garbage immediately. That Bailey had been overseeing election-related matters. That's true, among other things. Bailey's message to the workforce was he was leaving for family reasons. 100% true. 100% true. and accurate.
Starting point is 00:23:28 He was said to have been annoyed about the recent demotion of two senior counterterrorism agents in the Washington office over their handling. He gets their wrong, Candeladian too, some journalists, as you noticed it? Their handling of an investigation into harassing phone calls to Steve Miller's wife, totally
Starting point is 00:23:43 made up, totally completely fabricated, made up. Folks, I can't express you in strong enough terms how that is a total complete fabrication. They got that from this diaper-wearing anonymous source who works with Delanian, whose own family hates his guts and is horrified. They're related to this loser.
Starting point is 00:24:04 And all he does is try to destroy the Trump administration while pretending he's some MAGA-adjacent guy. He is not. He is nothing more than a mouthpiece for the liberal media who uses former position is covered. This guy's a diaper wear it. Look it up. Diaper wear. Look it up. Loser.
Starting point is 00:24:21 Total complete life loser. who I'm telling you like his family would divorce him if that was a thing. The guy's garbage. And they're trying to trash this guy out the door because he said he was going to do a limited amount of time and did it at great cost to him and his family. It's just disgusting. And people buy this stuff. I saw another piece.
Starting point is 00:24:47 They're saying about Andrew Bailey who left the FBI. Of course they love palace intrigue. The New York Times. that Bailey went weeks without meeting with director Patel. Really? That's fascinating because I was in those meetings. And Jim, you know when they happen? Every day.
Starting point is 00:25:04 That can't be true, Jim. New York Times said they went weeks without meeting. So let me just, again, a line for you the table. Every morning at 8 a.m., there is a president's daily brief at the FBI, a CIA brief or doesn't, okay? You sit around a table, you get all the scoop and skinny on what's going on around the world. Cash, the directors at the head of the table, CIA, for it's like the knights of the round table,
Starting point is 00:25:25 kind of like a round, like long table there, is across the table. I was to Cash's right. Bailey was to me. He was right there. Bailey's a big guy. He's like six, two. He looks like a linebacker.
Starting point is 00:25:34 I promise if he wasn't there, I'd notice. Sometimes I'd be like Bailey, stop kicking me. Like under the table, like his, he's right there. They went weeks without meeting. They're just making this up. Please don't trust losers from podcast to Stan. They're just lying to you to get. get you to hate every single person in the Trump orbit.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Hegsev, Kennedy, Tom Homan, the vice president. It's all garbage, man. We got an election to win. Throw all this crap out, man. I'm just so tired of the nonsense. I'll show you the truth about what was done at the FBI and why they're trying to diminish the Trump administration and it's lieutenants coming up after the break.
Starting point is 00:26:15 We'll be right back. Folks, we have an election coming up. This is the story not only of the day, of the week, but of the coming months. We have a critical midterm election coming up. Now, I brought this up to you before, and this point's gotten a little bit lost at times, and it kind of irks me a little,
Starting point is 00:26:36 but I feel like I'm not doing a good job at getting this across. If we can get through this midterm, there is a census coming up soon. What the hell is the census have to do what it is? If we can get through this midterm, hold the House and the Senate, or hold the Senate and stem losses in the House.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Not that I'm hoping for that. Hold you. Braveheart, Malcolm. Maybe the greatest scene of all time if you're into. Remember that thing, movies for guys who like movies? That was great. Was that like TBS or T&D? The census is done every 10 years.
Starting point is 00:27:15 Counts the number of Americans or roughly. I mean, it's not an exact number of course, but it's close. The census coming up is going to reallocate massive amounts of congressional seats, folks, from blue states to red states. Producer Jim, why is that? Why would they reallocate them? Are people leaving blue states? Are they moving to blue states?
Starting point is 00:27:33 Just a simple question. They are not. They are leaving, correct? Now, Jim, you live in Texas. I live in Florida. Texas, people are moving to Texas. You've probably seen it yourself. I live down here in Florida
Starting point is 00:27:45 when I moved down here 10 years ago. The street that's in front of the studio here or in front of my old house in Palm City where I used to live, it was one lane. Now it's two lanes. Now they need like 10 lanes because everybody's moving to Florida. There's some bad stuff about that.
Starting point is 00:28:00 There's some good stuff about that. I wish the liberals would stay away and we could check passports at the Florida line. However, we can't do that. It is a free country and liberals will move where they want and they'll destroy wherever they go as always. If we can get through this midterm, the next coming congressional and presidential elections will be far more favorable going forward for the Republicans. And given population trends going forward, folks, it may be in, I don't want to say anything in perpetuity, but for 40, 50 years, the Republicans could be in a far more favorable environment.
Starting point is 00:28:38 Well, what does that have to do with the presidential? Well, you know, I'm sorry there are some liberals listening who don't understand the electoral math, but you need a certain amount of electoral college votes to win the presidency. It's not a popular vote count. That is based on the number of members of Congress in your state, plus two, your two senators. So if Florida in Texas get four or five or six more seats, they get more votes for the presidency too
Starting point is 00:29:02 and they are now pretty red states. I'm just telling you, like, if we can get through this, things will get better. Now, I did this appearance last night, and I'll play some of the clips from that coming up, but it was interesting. I got a ton of feedback, an enormous amount of feedback. And some people, of course,
Starting point is 00:29:20 the doomers and the gloomers said, look, well, it sounds like you're saying, like pick the Republicans or the, you know, because the Trump administration record is not that good, but that's not what I said at all. I don't even know where you're getting that from. That is not at all what I'm telling you. What I'm telling you is this, in any society full of people who are fallible, and we all are, we're all sinners that we are, we screw stuff up all the time.
Starting point is 00:29:44 You were going to have issues in a scarce resource environment. The Donald Trump two-year record to vote on here, because he said, listen, pretend I'm on the ballot is extraordinary. jobless rate lowest poverty rate lowest border close crime rate lowest murder rate lowest inflation number just came in today we'll get to that later came in lower than expected lower than expected consumer spending is up median household income is up i'm not diminishing the real problems with fuel prices the cost of living but that was largely a joe biden era thing joe biden's record on inflation was horrendous he averaged 5 percent Donald trump said roughly three his first term he was at
Starting point is 00:30:22 1.9. So if you're voting on inflation is a clear choice. You want to go back to 5% inflation? Or would you rather, even at its worst, because I think it will get better from here, at its worst, 3%. I'm not trying to be a jerk, folks. I promise you. Oh, you guys, you're not, you're voters. You deserve to be heard. I'm just telling you, if that's your one issue, the record is crystal clear that Trump administration is better. Another thing I need you to focus like a laser on is please, folks, we can't go back to a September 10th. 2001 mentality. We can't.
Starting point is 00:30:55 You know, national security is this, it's a fascinating topic and I'm trying to be delicate, not for any PC reasons, but because the way I talk about this is critical.
Starting point is 00:31:11 National security is typically if you're in voter polls. If it's been years since a terror attack, you'll see it maybe four or five in the polls. You can go look them up yourself. You see it's usually economy, affordability, you know, health care. They'll be like top three generally.
Starting point is 00:31:29 And then you'll see, God forbid, something like a 9-11 attack. And we don't want that to happen again, clearly. And you'll see national security to jump to number one. Because folks, if the threat of being killed in a terror strike or an assault on our country or our industrial control systems and our water gets wiped out and our power system gets wiped out, we can't forget about getting your kids to school. There is no school. I promise you that gets to be the number one.
Starting point is 00:31:53 issue quick. We were kind of there on September 10th. There was no collaboration between the US intelligence community and law enforcement. Terrorism had kind of been like sideline a bit. They thought they could use law enforcement tools to answer the terror problem. That did not work. That failed miserably. Last night should refocus everybody, folks. Last night, what happened, the attempted, apparently what appears to have been hijacking. There are a couple of outlets that aren't yet calling it terrorism. I apply the Bonino rule. I can only tell you the facts.
Starting point is 00:32:31 The facts seem pretty clear at this point. There was an attack on the pilot. But this should refocus everyone prior to this election. That that national security issue, that may be number four or five now, if we don't handle this right in this election and elect a bunch of terrorist sympathizers, some who are running for big time positions on the, left right now that we will be right back to a 9-10 mentality and looking at another 9-11. I'm just not going to have it. Check this out. Translation, so it might not be perfect, but he says
Starting point is 00:33:00 during the flight they were approaching Israel. One of the pilots stabbed the other pilot and apparently attempted to crash the plane with everyone on board. I spoke with one of the Israeli passengers. He told me that the plane went into a spin and began to nosedive. He told me that somehow he managed to break into the cockpit with one of the crew members, and together they subdued the pilot who carried out the stabbing while he was attempting to sabotage the aircraft system. An additional flight crew was on board, entered the cockpit, and managed to stabilize the aircraft. I salute these heroes who demonstrated extraordinary resourcefulness and courage. They saved many lives and prevented a major disaster.
Starting point is 00:33:45 I'm not going to do, I think, I mean, listen, I'm a partisan guy. Okay, hello, Captain, obvious. But I'm not going to do what a lot of deranged Democrats did to us, which is paint everyone with a broad brush. You've got a number of Democrats at the state, local, territorial, and federal level who are just as concerned about a terror attack as me. They don't want to die either. but if you were to take sadly tragically a rough random sample of federally elected democrats in congress who have said things and people running for office in this cycle by the way who have said things that any reasonable person could be construed as supportive of anti-American islamo fanatic and
Starting point is 00:34:35 terror regimes the chances of you swinging a dead cat and hitting a democrat are far higher they just are they just are you've got a guy running in michigan and at other side there who campaign with a guy he calls him a streamer hasan piker like he was another campaign with a guy who was like you know rapes on october 7th that don't matter uh september 11th yeah you know apologizing for the people like what we deserve that like who talks like that folks that is a i got to tell you i'm not telling you it doesn't exist so this person doesn't guess i can't think of a of a mainstream or credible Republican at all, who has ever spoken like this
Starting point is 00:35:18 and not been immediately ostracized. Jim, folks in the audience, send it to Jim. He's at JJ Verde on X. Really? Because I'll condemn the person immediately. Just send it over. Let's not even forget about not welcoming the Republican Party. You would get a boot in the ass so quick.
Starting point is 00:35:35 This is not a fringe view on the left. I'm not telling you every Democrat feels that way. I just said that. that's not what I'm telling you. I'm just telling you you've got a choice in this election. And what happened last night should be a stark reminder that no matter what turns out to be the motive, and it looks pretty likely to be some terror event,
Starting point is 00:35:57 but I want to apply the rule. I don't want to draw any conclusions. It's only fair to let all the facts come in. That if this does turn out to be an attempted hijacking and another 9-11 style attack that was averted, that they were going to crash this plane into Tel Aviv or Jarev or, Jerusalem or elsewhere, then folks, you got to start moving that national security issue up and up and up. You have to because it doesn't matter the tax rate or anything else you pay if you're
Starting point is 00:36:23 dead. He was some commentary on Iran yesterday by President Trump as well. Again, another issue that I know Stokes a lot of passion in people and I don't blame you at all. I don't blame you. We should always look with a critical eye on use of our brave men and women in our military and the allocation of those assets overseas anywhere. But the numbers are clear, folks. The Iranians are losing this war. Even the New York Times is starting to acknowledge it now. Check this out.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Iran, in your opinion, about to give up, about to concede. Well, they're doing very poorly. I don't know if they're going to give up yet, but they'll give up, but they're doing very poorly. You know, we took more oil out of the Harmone Strait over the last couple of days. than at any point in history, including long before we had the war to stop the nuclear weapon. And this is to stop the nuclear weapon. Iran will not have a nuclear weapon. Hey, even in New York Times is belatedly, I'm not kidding, it's belatedly, look at their X-Feed, starting to acknowledge that this Iranian war is not really going well for the Iranians at this point.
Starting point is 00:37:35 We all wish it would have wrapped up sooner. War is unpredictable. by its very nature. But folks, God forbid something like this, what happened, you know, in this attempted hijacking, what happened here, you're going to see people's, and I hope it doesn't. God, please don't. I've never used the Lord's name in vain. But you're going to see people focus really quick. We'll be right back.
Starting point is 00:38:00 So, kind of an evergreen, tactic we've been. promoted for the 10 years I've been doing content plus is winning campaigns and winning on issues. And by the way, I've learned this from falling on my face a lot too. I've learned more from failures. I've heard a whole freaking bug about it than I have about victories. One of the ways to win on an issue or win in a campaign that's pretty much tried and true is the whole idea of making your campaign about snapshots, soundbites, and contrast. Folks, I wish campaigns, I, I, I, really do. I wish they were about detailed white papers where you could go through a hundred pages and read it and be like, wow, like this guy really knows where we stand on Lake Okeechobee discharges,
Starting point is 00:38:53 marginal capital gains, tax rates, inflation adjusted, real estate sales. Most campaigns, most candidates aren't going to do that. Frankly, a lot of candidates, not all, but some were just stupid and never even heard of these issues. They're like, well, what do you mean, man? That's a marginal tax rate. What does that be? They don't even know. So what I'm getting at is you can be the smartest campaigner in the world. You can have an IQ of 475. And if your campaign is not digested into short soundbites, pictures, and contrast, and I'll bring this up again later, you're just going to get hurt.
Starting point is 00:39:29 I mean, they even made fun of Mitt Romney during his presidential campaign because he had white papers. Like, listen, I was no Romney fan. Clearly, he was a terrible candidate, obviously. However, I don't understand what the problem was. The guy put together detailed policy analysis. He was going to be the president of the United States. I can't believe this guy was dumb enough to think this stuff through. Like, that was the Democrat position.
Starting point is 00:39:50 I say that too in conjunction with the opening because I actually miss this happened last night. I missed this sound by snapshot and contrast from the Hilton Bakaria debate. And it was about masks. Folks, if there's one thing that triggers. a content rage in me, nearly uncontrollable rage in me. It is this concept of the surgical mask to, Jim's laughing already because I can't stop with this. I can never let go how we lived in the dumbest time humanly possible. And like people actually thought this stupid mask was going to stop COVID. We now know that that is ridiculous. Every single
Starting point is 00:40:39 person on planet earth. Everyone who wore this stupid thing got COVID. It was the worst prophylactic ever. It was the condom that everyone you got pregnant. You're like, wow, this doesn't work. You would give up that said prophylactic, right? You would say this doesn't work. It didn't happen.
Starting point is 00:41:05 Oh, no. How does this relate to the debate? You want to hear a sound bite? That is going to bea some, kick me in a gym. This is going to kick you right in the gonads. Here is Baccaria. This guy was the HHS secretary. Kick me in the Jimmy.
Starting point is 00:41:19 We'll do that. I promise. This guy was the lead health official in the Biden cabinet, Baccaria. Hilton calls him out for demanding, he demanded like three-year-olds wear masks. Listen to Bacchariqo, that's right. Like he's proud of it. This is from this week, not from peak. But is there you want to vote for this guy in California?
Starting point is 00:41:42 This is insane. Check this out. When he was HHS secretary, he suggested that children, young children should wear masks, two and three year olds. That's right. Wearing masks. There was no public health justification for any of that. He went along with the group think, this is why you can't trust him.
Starting point is 00:42:02 I can't believe it. I cannot believe. Folks, listen, we're on in California. We love our California. stations and to all the conservatives or Republicans and even moderate Democrats who've had enough of the crap who may have voted for Spencer Pratt and others and are looking to vote for Steve Hilden. We love you. I'm not here to like crap on the whole state.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Why would I do that? Like there are good people in there. They can't leave. I just took a, it was a wedding in California. I had to go out there. And it was crazy. I met a whole bunch of people who were big supporters. And you would think, oh, you're in California.
Starting point is 00:42:34 I've been to L.A. a couple times. I never had anyone say a bad word. I even went in a restaurant, Beverly Hills, kind of incognit. and the guy knows who he's probably here and uh have you ever heard the story jim and the restaurant owner comes out i'm like oh boy they're definitely throwing us out of this place huge fan huge supporter and i was like wow i'm not mad at you in california at all if you're a conservative but there's no question like there are a lot of lunatics in the state that are driving this place into the ground led by lead lunatic hair gel newsome right but you can't tell me with a with a straight face without
Starting point is 00:43:07 laughing, that this is a popular position in the deep blue state of California, even with the crazy liberal madness, that masking three-year-olds with a surgical mask with a 100% success rate of failing, that's rare. There is rare on planet that if you give a medicine designed for life, let's say there's a medicine. I don't know what it's called. Joey Bag of Donuts pill X. And the bag of donuts pill X is for cholesterol.
Starting point is 00:43:36 all, and you randomly give it to someone for like a swollen knee, one out of a million people or whatever, the swollen knee is going to get better. Wow, look at that. It had a weird effect. This is the rare medical intervention, the surgical mask, where every single person had failed. This guy is running for governor in a critical state of California.
Starting point is 00:43:59 Critical state. It is a huge portion of our economy. Fact. We can't just, like, saw it off and say, forget California. The tech hub. There are a lot of Republicans out there. We can't forfeit the state completely.
Starting point is 00:44:11 We've got Republican congressmen out there. And you've got a guy running to be governor still to this day, remarkably, in one of the worst sound bites I've heard this cycle. That's right, man. We masked up those darn three-year-olds. You get that mask. You rubber band out to their faces. This worked great.
Starting point is 00:44:28 It's running to be your governor. How? How? Folks, today's show is going to be a lot. It's going to be a lot thrown at you. I got Sean Ferris coming up a little bit later. You know Sean from the Bongino Report PM our first hour. So he's also got a podcast at rumble.com slash Sean every day at 1 o'clock.
Starting point is 00:44:49 If you ever want to check out my podcast, by the way, it is live at 10 a.m. Eastern every day. Rumble.com slash Bongino. We'd love to have you. Watch on demand anytime. But the theme of today's show is I have never. And I've been in the business a long time. Well, I don't know, 15 years.
Starting point is 00:45:07 It sounds like a long time. 51, everything feels long now. I have never, even during the Obama years and the Biden years, seen a bigger disconnect between the doom and gloom left-wing media narrative about what's going on and what's actually happening on the ground. No, sure, you have in the past. No, I'm not telling you it hasn't been bad in the past. That's not what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:45:31 I'm saying if you measure the delta, you know, the difference there between where we actually are. Let me just put meat on the bottom and make it make sense. On the war in Iran, on the economy, and on what happened with this dreadful terror attack on the flight from UAE to Tel Aviv. I have never seen a bigger discrepancy between what the media is telling you is happening
Starting point is 00:45:59 and what's actually happening. I've never seen anything like it. I'm going to show you evidence throughout the show today. The economic numbers that came out this week, they don't say that there were no problems in the economy at all. But the economic numbers in total, folks, we're pumping out numbers we haven't seen in years, in some cases decades, in some cases ever. That's got to be a factor in your voting decisions. So we're going to chat about that. But this shift is largely due to persuasive voices on the left and in the left-wing media, although
Starting point is 00:46:34 said the same thing twice, that have people believing crazy things. They just do. Here's Hassan Piker. He's going to come up, make another appearance later in the show. Why? Well, he's coming up later in the show, because he's now telling you if you're in the great state of Texas where Jim is that, hey, by the way, you're a Texas Senate candidate, Talafrigo.
Starting point is 00:46:53 If he wins, we're not going to let him, quote, moderate. We're going to pull him to the left. He's just warning you, like, this guy's a gift to Republicans. Here he is talking about open borders and letting illegals in the country, calling it a paperwork discrepancy, a paperwork discrepancy. Like, Jim, if you go in a store and you steal $1,000 in merchandise and you have no receipt, like, I didn't steal it. It's just a paperwork discrepancy.
Starting point is 00:47:15 If you would just give me a receipt, it's like it didn't even disappear. That's not a, no, it's not a thing. That's not a thing. It's not a paperwork discrepancy. You could have filled out the paperwork, just like you could have bought the products. You chose to steal it instead. You could have filled out the paperwork to be a citizen, and you chose not to and break the law. That's not a paperwork discrepancy. It's called a crime if you don't enter into port
Starting point is 00:47:38 of entry. This is Piker. This guy is a thought leader on the left. This is what you're voting for in this upcoming election if you choose the wrong team. Check this out. Because immigration, for example, is a matter of paperwork. It's paperwork violation. Immigration and paperwork violations should not be met with a Gestapo force that's randomly stopping black and brown citizens on our streets kidnapping them. Paperwork violation. I would look to point out, though, in California, I can get away with $946. That's true.
Starting point is 00:48:16 Didn't they make that legal for a while? I know, like, some even store owners were trying to change it. Like, if you walk out with less than $1,000, it's like, yeah, it's a charity day today. It's not a crime. Don't even worry about it. Walk out. And by the way, if you tackle the guy before he leaves, they'll sue you. And then you owe him another $100,000 for tackling him why they stole your $9,000.
Starting point is 00:48:33 $99. I'll bet they got so good at prices, these thieves, that they could probably go in there, like the freaking prices, right? Like Bob Barker, come on down. And they like, remember the prices right? You put these, mm-hmm, you put them on the prices right. They would have won every time. The showcase showed up.
Starting point is 00:48:51 How much is this Chevy Nova back in the day? These thieves who got it right up to $999 would have been like, uh, Bob, that's $9,946,33. You said, holy Moses, bro, you got it to the penny. How to what the? Oh, gee, that is crazy, man. That is so crazy. You know what I did.
Starting point is 00:49:13 Remember they put the thing like the bag of grocery items, you pick it out. Bob, that's a Lysol disinfectant. That product is 472. They will go out to decimal points that don't exist. 472, 39, 462. Dude, that's not even a thing. Like, we barely count.
Starting point is 00:49:31 pennies anymore. We don't count one one millionth of a penny. They're like, that guy's amazing. Yes, he's stolen. He's stolen so many times. He knows the price of everything to keep it up that under $999. That's California. Jim is not wrong. That's California. The showcase, come on, dude. They win every single time. Matter of fact, they were accused of cheating. They're all investigated on the way out the door because nobody nails every price, except the thieves in California. They get it right every time. You want that around the country? You want to, you want, what is that red hot chili peppers? You want California cation going on around the country?
Starting point is 00:50:06 I don't, I don't know. I'd rather just fix California, but keep it there. Keep it quarantined. I'm sorry. I don't want it anywhere else. I don't want to showcase showdown winners showing up in Florida, stealing something. Florida doesn't matter. You steal anything.
Starting point is 00:50:19 You steal a piece of bazooka gum from when we were kids. Five cents, but despite Biden, it's probably like 20 cents. Now you wind up going to jail down here. Sorry, I'm in a mood today. Jim got me going with the mask thing, and then the show just goes off the rails every time. All right, I got more coming up for you next. We'll be right back.
Starting point is 00:50:38 Bonino.
